OHMYGOSSIP — Rebekah Vardy hopes competing on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ will lead to a presenting job.
The 35-year-old beauty – who has children Megan, 11, and Taylor, seven, from a previous relationship, and Sofia, three, and Finlay, 10 months, with husband Jamie Vardy – will seize the opportunities that come her way after the show because she wants to be independent.
Asked if she’s hoping for more TV work, she said: “Yes, definitely. I really like the idea of standing on my own two feet. I like to provide for my children and I like to be financially in charge of myself. So yes, if I got the opportunities to do other work, then brilliant – I would jump at the chance.”
As well as looking for new career opportunities, Rebekah signed up for the show to learn more about herself.
She said: “It’s an opportunity to push myself. I want to see how I’ll cope and find out more about myself…
“You never know how you’re going to react. I am quite a strong character. I have been through a lot and I will probably hold it together quite well.”
When it comes to being in the camp, Rebekah has no patience for people who “whinge”, and isn’t looking forward to encountering spiders or snakes.
Asked what gets on her nerves, she told heat magazine: “People whinging. Why did you do the show if you’re going to moan about everything?
“I’m not a fan of spiders and snakes but I have dealt with enough snakes in my past that I know how to deal with them.”
And though she wasn’t looking forward to having no contact with her family, she’ll also enjoy a bit of peace and quiet.
In an interview conducted shortly before she went into the jungle, she said: “It’s the longest I’ve been away from my family and it’s going to be a battle.
“I am dreading being away for the kids and my husband.
“I’ll miss my phone but my life is so hectic – working, being a mum, the football stuff that it will be nice not to have any distraction.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Maynard has apologised to fans in an emotional video.
The 23-year-old vlogger left the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ camp earlier this week after homophobic and racist tweets he sent several years ago came to light, and he has admitted he is “ashamed” of the “horrible” and “stupid” posts.
In a video posted on his YouTube channel, he said: “I’m sorry to anyone that I upset, anyone that I offended, anyone I made feel uncomfortable.
“Growing up I was all over social, my entire life was on social media and through that it led to be my job.
“I’ve tweeted some bad things, some horrible things, that I’m just ashamed of.
“I never wanted to make anything like this, I feel like I’ve let you guys down so much, I was young, I was stupid, I was careless I just wasn’t thinking.
“This was back when I just left school and I don’t know what I was thinking. I was stupid, I said some really inconsiderate things.”
And Jack – the younger brother of singer Conor Maynard – urged his young fans not to make the “same mistakes” he had.
He said: “Growing up online is hard and I just beg that you don’t make the same mistakes as I did.
“I was young back then, I had nothing, I wasn’t doing anything, and that’s not an excuse whatsoever.”
The YouTuber then became emotional as he said: “I’m so gutted and I’m embarrassed, I’m so embarrassed that all of this has happened now.”
He went on to thank his fans for their support.
He added: “You’ve constantly had my back. The support I’ve seen online from all of you is so overwhelming, so I want to thank you all for that.”
Jack’s agent made the decision to pull him out of the show this week after a number of tweets posted online five years ago containing racist remarks resurfaced.
A spokesperson previously explained in a statement: “In the last few days Jack has been the subject of a succession of media stories which, given his position as a contestant on ‘I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here’ – filmed in the Australian jungle, with no contact with the outside world, he has been unable to respond to.
“Since it is only fair that everyone should be aware of any allegations made against them and should also have the right to defend themselves, it was agreed that it would be better to bring him out of the show.
“Jack agrees with this decision which was made by his representatives and ITV and thanks everyone who has supported him in the show this far.”
In one post made back in June 2011, he said he was “at alices with my n****s!” and he also repeatedly called people “retards”.
A spokeswoman for the vlogger told The Sun Online: “Jack is ashamed of these tweets, many were deleted a long time ago.
“He would never use that language now and realises this kind of retaliatory, inflammatory, insulting language is completely unacceptable.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dan Gilroy knew he wanted Denzel Washington in ‘Roman J. Israel, Esq’.
The 58-year-old filmmaker and screenwriter – who helmed the action/thriller ‘Nightcrawler’ – recently filmed the new crime/thriller but admitted the film nearly didn’t go ahead unless Washington, 62, joined the movie as Gilroy specifically wrote the part for him.
Speaking to Business Insider, Gilroy said: “I’ve never written so specifically for an actor that if they passed on it I wouldn’t have done it.
“I always had a list of people I would have followed up with. This one I did not. I felt very strongly that the character is somebody who believes deeply in things, he’s someone who believes there’s something bigger than himself. Him welding to that character was a quality I wouldn’t be able to find in another actor. I felt very strongly about that. We sat down to have lunch and an hour into it he stuck out his hand and said ‘let’s do this movie together’.”
The new film follows Roman J. Israel, Esq (Washington) whose life is upended when his mentor, a civil rights icon, dies.
He is recruited to join a firm led by one of the legendary man’s former students – an ambitious lawyer George Pierce (Colin Farrell) – and begins a friendship with an equal rights campaigner (Carman Ejogo).
But through a number of turbulent series of events, the activism which has defined his career will be put to the test.
Gilroy also admitted he even let the ‘Fences’ actor join him in the editing room.
He said: “I couldn’t have really conceived before this of letting an actor come into the cutting room. Most actors are not objective.
“But I knew I wanted him to come in and look at the character and in the process we started asking each other, do we need this scene? Should we trim this? Egos really got checked at the door.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Josh Gad would follow Sir Kenneth Branagh “to the ends of the Earth”.
The 36-year-old actor is currently starring as Hector MacQueen in the new movie adaptation of Agatha Christie’s whodunit novel ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ alongside Branagh – who helmed and stars as the iconic Belgian detective Hercule Poirot.
Gad admitted he “thinks the world” of the 56-year-old actor and filmmaker and spent a lot of his youth watching his work.
Speaking to The I Paper, Gad said: “I would follow that man to the ends of the Earth; I just think the world of him. A large part of my education was spent watching the work of Kenneth Branagh. He is an exceptionally talented human being.”
‘Murder on the Orient Express’ follows the Belgian detective who finds himself wrapped in a murder mystery after a passenger is murdered during the lavish trip through Europe.
The film sees Branagh take on the helm of the iconic detective and features a stellar cast which includes Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Olivia Colman, Daisy Ridley, and Willem Dafoe.
Gad voiced magical snowman Olaf in Disney’s hit animation ‘Frozen’ is currently back in the studio recording for the highly-anticipated sequel of the hit 2013 movie, set for release in 2019.
Although known for his other roles – including in the 2017 live-action remake of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ – Gad said he would be happy to be remembered as the snowman.
He said: “If I had to be remembered for one character, then Olaf would be fine with me. Olaf’s got the biggest heart in the world even if technically he doesn’t have one. He lives to love. Olaf was created by Elsa (Idina Menzel), so he’s so full of joy. With that kind of naivety, your sandbox is endless. You can do things that you couldn’t otherwise get away with if you were playing the straight character.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rian Johnson cannot “wait to jump” into the new ‘Star Wars’ trilogy.
The 43-year-old director – who recently helmed the eighth instalment in the franchise ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ – was recently announced by Lucasfilm to be helming a new three-film set, the first of which he will write and direct, with longtime collaborator Ram Bergman on board to produce.
While promoting ‘The Last Jedi’ at a press event in Mexico, Johnson said he’s only at the “very beginning” of starting the new trilogy.
He said: “We’re gonna have to see. I’m just in the very beginning of starting to come up with what the new trilogy is going to be.
“What makes me so excited about it, is the idea of doing a new story on the big canvas of three movies in this world.
“There’s just so much potential and I can’t wait to jump into it.”
And Lucasfilm bosses are looking forward to seeing what “amazing things” the filmmaker comes up with in his trilogy, which will take part in a different part of the galaxy “separate from the episodic Skywalker saga” and introduce all new characters.
Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy said: “We all loved working with Johnson on ‘The Last Jedi’.
“He’s a creative force, and watching him craft ‘The Last Jedi’ from start to finish was one of the great joys of my career. Rian will do amazing things with the blank canvas of this new trilogy.”
No release dates have yet been set for the movies. It has also been announced that a live-action ‘Star Wars’ TV series is going into production.
The show will air on Disney’s own upcoming streaming service by the end of 2019.
The programme will be the first series within the universe since ‘Star Wars: Rebels’ was introduced in 2014. The animated series recently began its fourth season.
‘The Last Jedi’ will be released this December.

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrew Garfield didn’t find it an “acting challenge” to play a paralysed man in ‘Breathe’.
The 34-year-old actor is currently starring in Andy Serkis’ directorial debut as Robert Cavendish – who was diagnosed with polio and left paralysed by the illness – and, although he didn’t feel it tested his acting ability, it forced him to connect with people with “this very limited ability of expression” and do them justice in the movie.
Speaking to Deadline, Garfield said: “It’s so strange. I never saw it as an acting challenge, I saw it as a living challenge as Robin would have seen it because he was a non-disabled person up until the age of 28 and he was very athletic, he was a captain in the army, he was a cricket player.
“He experienced the world through his body, he connected with the world through his physicality and of course at the age of 28 to have that stripped away is a remarkable thing to attempt to reconcile and to integrate that experience who are you now?
“That’s the question I think he was asking himself of who am I? What is my value, what is my worth? I suppose he got to know himself internally, I think.
“He was forced to know himself very very deeply inside and after about a year and a half of kind of suicidal thoughts and depression and not really knowing if he wanted to carry on living.
“He eventually decided he is going to carry on living because of the love of his wife. That was the question, how do I connect with people with this very limited ability of expression, how do I connect with the world with this paralysis, which is a universal thing, we all have certain paralysis in our lives that inhabit us.”
‘Breathe’ also stars ‘The Crown’ actress Claire Foy as Garfield’s on-screen wife Diana and it was produced by Robin’s real life son Jonathan Cavendish, who runs The Imaginarium Studios production company with Serkis.

OHMYGOSSIP — Joss Whedon is still attached to direct ‘Batgirl’ despite ‘Justice League’ being panned by critics.
Rumours had suggested that the 53-year-old filmmaker was set to be dumped as the movie’s director following the failure of the much-hyped superhero movie, which he co-wrote and managed its directorial re-shoots.
But according to Entertainment Weekly, the rumours are untrue and Whedon is currently busily working on the script.
The Hollywood screenwriter – who previously directed ‘The Avengers’ in 2012 and ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ in 2015 – is also preparing to helm the project.
Whedon’s ‘Avengers’ movies were well received, but the star-studded ‘Justice League’ film – which features the likes of Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck – has been slammed by fans and critics.
Despite this, Whedon has previously insisted he has an abundance of confidence in his movie-making skills.
Asked how he came to direct the ‘Avengers’ film, Whedon shared: “I had been telling stories that were clearly superhero-team stories for many years, writing and directing them on a smaller scale. And at same time Kevin Feige was slaving away at Marvel, then was eventually put in charge of it.
“We sat down to talk about a script they had and what I would do with it. I wasn’t even aware there was a possibility I could be called upon to [direct]. The more I thought about it, the more I fell in love with it.
“Everyone was like: ‘Why did they pick you?’ But I fit the Marvel profile perfectly – I had vision and passion and I was cheap.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrea Riseborough felt “relieved and comfortable” when she found out she had a sex scene with her friend Emma Stone in ‘Battle of the Sexes’.
The 36-year-old actress stars as Marilyn Barnett – the secret lover of then-closeted lesbian tennis legend Billie Jean King (Stone) – in the new film by Jonathan Dayton and admitted, despite the nature of the flick, there was no awkwardness on set.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, Riseborough said: “People are always fascinated by that question. But no, it wasn’t odd for me. Emma and I knew each other well enough to feel relieved and comfortable to be doing this with each other, which is not often something you find playing opposite someone romantically.
“What’s more difficult is when you don’t have great chemistry with someone – Emma and I have great chemistry. Or else if somebody is unprofessional or their ego is getting in the way or there is inappropriate behaviour.”
The movie tells the story of the 1973 tennis match between King and Bobby Riggs (Steve Carell) which became the most-watched televised sports event of all time.
Trapped in the media glare, King and Riggs were on opposite sides of a binary argument, but off-court each was fighting more personal and complex battles.
King’s husband was urging her to fight for equal pay, but she was also struggling to come to terms with her own sexuality while Riggs gambled his legacy and reputation in a bid to relive the glories of his past.
Riseborough – who has recently starred in ‘Death of Stalin’ – also admitted she never thought she’d get back into acting after taking a break from her big screen career.
She explained: “I really didn’t think I would go back to acting this time. It was a case of being disillusioned with the industry because I had got slightly off track and started to make bigger studio films that weren’t in line with anything that I believe in, so I felt a bit hopeless and a bit depressed. Now I just follow my instincts.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jude Law is in talks to star as the male lead in ‘Captain Marvel’.
The ‘Sherlock Holmes’ actor is said to be in negotiations about taking on a major part in the hotly-anticipated Marvel movie, in which Brie Larson has been cast as the titular character, Carol Danvers.
According to Variety, Law is discussing the possibility of taking on the huge part, but Marvel didn’t comment on the speculation.
Ben Mendelsohn is set to play the villain in the motion picture, and Samuel L. Jackson is expected to reprise his role as Nick Fury.
He played the part in six movies, including ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’, ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ and the first ‘Iron Man’ film in 2008.
Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck will direct the project, and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige will produce.
Geneva Robertson-Dworet wrote the script, with ‘Inside Out’ scribe Meg LeFauve and Nicole Perlman penning previous drafts.
While it has not been confirmed who Mendelsohn will play, Feige recently teased that the shape-shifting alien group known as the Skrulls would feature in ‘Captain Marvel’.
‘Captain Marvel’ was created by writer Roy Thomas and designed by artist Gene Colan in 1968.
The story follows Air Force pilot Carol whose DNA is fused with that of an alien in an accident, giving her super strength, energy projection and flight powers.
While the details of the motion picture are being kept tightly under wraps, Feige announced at the San Diego Comic Con this year that the film will be set in the 90s, meaning this will take place before the events of the ‘Avengers’ movie.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy Watson’s boyfriend has no plans to propose any time soon.
The 25-year-old former ‘Made in Chelsea’ star attended the launch of Hogwarts in the Snow, at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter on Wednesday (22.11.17), with her boyfriend James Dunmore, 28, but he panicked at the talk of engagement and told her to scrap the thought of marriage from her mind.
During their visit, James asked a guide whether people get married in the Great Hall, but when the guide said there aren’t any marriages but people do get engaged, James turned to his girlfriend and said: “don’t go getting any ideas.”
Lucy was also given a wand which was designed the same as the Dark Lord Voldemort and her boyfriend joked that it was “about right for her”.
The studios – which brought to life the eight ‘Harry Potter’ movies – saw a number of other celebrities attend including Alexandra Burke and her ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ partner Gorka Marquez, ‘Great British Bake Off’ winner Candice Brown and Rebecca Ferguson.
‘Harry Potter’ star David Tennant – who played Barty Croach Jr in ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ – was also seen donning a Christmas jumper.
Former ‘X-Factor’ contestant Rae-Elle Williams, who was kicked off the show last weekend, reunited with Grace Davies and the two shared a hug in front of the Yule Ball stage in the Great Hall.
The studio tour featured the Yule Ball for the first time, which debuted in ‘Goblet of Fire’, and was inspired by the Brighton Pavilion.
The iconic Great Hall was transformed for the festive season which snow-covered Christmas trees, icicles and an orchestra of magical instruments.
The orchestra itself is made up of musical instruments painted by the Prop-Making department to match the silver of the Yule Ball decoration.
Hogwarts in the Snow will run from November 18 to January 28.

OHMYGOSSIP — Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo is still in a relationship with her boyfriend James Middleton.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ beauty claimed she was single before she went into the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ jungle but it looks like her partner has other ideas as he’s reportedly been telling their friends that they’re still very much together.
A source told The Sun Online: “She split from James after discovering that he cheated on her with PR girl Annabel Field, who bears a striking resemblance to her.
“James really messed her around when they were together so she went ahead and did ‘Celebs Go Dating’ [over the summer] as a single woman.
“But it wasn’t long before they got back together again and they’re still in a relationship now even with Georgia being in the jungle. James has found it difficult to keep quiet about their romance and has continued to show his support for Toff on his Instagram.”
However, the 23-year-old star has other ideas as she admitted just before she flew Down Under that guys are often put off her because she’s so independent and free.
She said: “The way I am makes it difficult for guys; I do my own thing the whole time, I’m so independent. If there’s someone else in my life I often forget and carry on as normal. I go out every night, I go for dinner with my friends, so I find it hard to think about another person. It’s selfish, but I’m having so much fun concentrating on myself, so maybe that’s part of the problem. I think the problem is I really wear my heart on my sleeve, so when I like someone I tell them how it is. Maybe I’m quite young, it just seems to go wrong. I’m really attracted to an interesting person. It’s not all about looks. If they can sustain a good intellectual conversation, I find that very attractive.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy McConnell has been jailed for 18 weeks.
The 27-year-old reality TV star has been thrown behind bars for just under five months after he appeared at Cardiff Magistrates Court this morning (23.11.17) because he failed to stick to the terms and conditions of his suspended sentence by going off to Turkey without permission to get a hair transplant and new teeth.
However, the heavily-inked hunk didn’t seem too bothered about going to prison as, before he stood in the dock this morning, he took to his Instagram account – which has since been wiped of any content – to wish his followers a happy festive period.
He wrote: “If I don’t see yas, have a great Christmas. (sic)”
Jeremy was slapped with 200 hours of community service in August – narrowly missing out on prison – after he was found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis while she was holding their now-10-month-old son Caben.
But he hit the headlines just days after he started the unpaid work in Glasgow as he allegedly refused to scrub off some graffiti as he believed the spray-painted wall was created by famous artist Banksy.
A source said previously: “He has refused to scrub graffiti because he believes the artwork is a Banksy – and he’s told officials.
“A decision is yet to be made about Jeremy and how he will continue his community service going forward. He could end up in real trouble over it.”
As well as his community service, Jeremy was also ordered to pay £1,000 in court costs, £1,000 in compensation to Stephanie and a victims surcharge of £115.
He’s also been told to stay away from Stephanie, 24, for three years and any communication regarding Caben has to be done via social service or the family court.

OHMYGOSSIP — A venomous brown tree snake had to be removed from the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ famous bridge last week after it wrapped itself around the wooden posts.
The creepy-crawly show’s medic Bob McCarron had to capture the dangerous slithery reptile, which is considered to be the number one threat to the native wildlife, and move it to another location after it made itself at home on the set up Ant and Dec walk down every day when they host the programme live from the Australian outback.
Speaking to Scarlett Moffatt on ‘Extra Camp’ last night (22.11.17), Bob said: “We keep it quiet from the celebrities in camp but last week I removed a venomous brown tree snake actually climbing along the drawbridge where Ant and Dec walk every day.”
And that’s not the only dangerous reptile to make its way on to the site either as producers also found a small-eyed snake setting up home in the trials area.
Bob explained: “That’s a very dangerous snake, and could actually be a killer.”
Last week – before the show returned to screens – bosses had to sent experts in a venomous funnel web spider was found lurking in the area where the celebs sleep.
The celebrities – including Jamie Lomas, Jennie McAlpine and Rekebah Vardy – appear to be in high spirits at the moment but all that looks set to change over the coming days as they’re expected to be “bitten to shreds” by mosquitoes.
Executive producer Oliver Nash said: “Celebs will get bitten to shreds as it’s so humid. It’s going to drive them nuts.”
But it’s not just mosquitoes that will wreak havoc for the stars as medic Bob is certain that he’ll have to remove at least three ticks from their flesh.
Bob explained: “A minimum of three of them will have ticks. It will happen.
“They are my biggest problem. They are OK if you get them off within
12 hours but, any long, you get general malaise and headaches.”

The 23-year-old vlogger was expected to touch down in London this morning (23.11.17) after he boarded a plane from Australia yesterday (22.11.17), but it’s believed he’s been whisked off the aircraft and escorted away from the public eye after he was dumped from ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’, according to the Mirror Online.
Jack’s agent made the decision to pull him out of the show this week after a number of tweets posted online five years ago containing racist remarks resurfaced.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Thompson didn’t treat Amelia Lily “very well” when they were dating.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ hunk struck up a relationship with the former ‘X Factor’ star over the summer after they fell for one another while in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house but, although things didn’t work out between them in the end, he feels terrible about the way he treated her and his ex-girlfriend Tiffany Watson this year.
Speaking to The Sun Online, the 25-year-old star: “I’m back up. I make no qualms about it, I didn’t treat Amelia Lily very well. I didn’t treat my ex-girlfriend very well hence why she dumped me.
“I had been down there on the floor for a bit and I think it’s time to pick myself up a bit. All my family and friends are like ‘dude just get on with it’ and everyone else is.”
Sam was left heartbroken over the summer when Tiffany – whom he has dated on and off for three years – refused to rekindle their romance and he has admitted he’s had no desire to date anyone else because he was still grieving for his co-star.
He explained: “No I haven’t [dated anyone else]. I haven’t really wanted to.
“It was a three year thing. It’s hard to get straight back.
“I grieved for a very long time. I think now is the right to get back on it and have a different aspect of life because I’ve never done anything like this before.”
However, all of that is about to change as Sam has signed up to the new series of ‘Celebs Go Dating’ and is hoping he finds the woman of his dream through the show.
He said: “Even though I have never done anything like this before in my life. So I don’t know how it’s going to go. It is daunting and some of the girls here are so attractive.

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Lindsay has issued a stark warning to his fans after his friend’s daughter was allegedly drugged with a bizarre substance by three men outside a nightclub in London.
The ‘My Family’ star took to his Twitter account this morning (23.11.17) to alert his followers after he learned his pal’s daughter had “lost all her senses and couldn’t remember a thing” after she inhaled a date rape drug blown in her face in the capital.
He wrote: “WARNING! A friends daughter was recently approached by 3 men outside a London club and a substance blown into her face,in her shock she inhaled….It was a date rape drug.She was saved but girls beware Friends came to her aid but within seconds she lost all her senses and couldn’t remember a thing (sic)”
It’s not known whether the incident has been reported to the police but the 67-year-old actor later retweeted a post from his friend Alix Wilton Regan claiming that men are blowing a bizarre substance in women’s face because it’s the “new way” to rape them.
She wrote: “New ways to rape women. Something that will never surprise me. (sic)”
It’s not known what substance Robert had been referring to but the public are being made aware of a tasteless powder known as the “devil’s breath”, which paralyses victims and wipes their memory, used in sexual assaults and other crimes.
