Amir Khan has I’m A Celeb meals prepared separately

OHMYGOSSIP — Amir Khan gets his meals prepared separately by a chef in the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ camp.
The camp mates jump for joy when they see the green bag containing their ingredients for dinner dangling down above the fire whenever they win a Bushtucker Trial, but the 30-year-old professional boxer – who is muslim and therefore only eats halal food, doesn’t have the same reaction as he’s given something different.
A message shared on Amir’s official Twitter account confirmed to his 2.29 million followers: “Amir is provided with a Halal option whenever the camp win food #TeamAK. (sic)”
And, although Amir has been getting stuck into the Bushtucker Trials – mainly because he’s being nominated for them – since he entered the jungle a week and a half ago, his wife Faryal Makhdoom thinks he looks depressed and only hopes viewers get to see the “real side” to her husband and “like” him.
The 26-year-old beauty said: “He’s a good guy and I’m glad he’s on TV so people can see the real side of him. Sometimes people judge you without knowing you. Amir seems depressed and quiet but I think he’s liked.”
Although the sporting ace has acquired a string of awards for his ability in the ring – as he is the former unified light-welterweight world champion and has held the WBA title for three years up until 2012 – Faryal has admitted her lover is not “very strong” when it comes to insects as he is “really scared” of harmless spiders.
Faryal – who has three-year-old daughter Lamaisah and is expecting her second child with Amir – said: “Even in the house if there’s a spider in the window, we call each other.
“He’s very strong in boxing but not when it comes to insects. He is really scared of spiders so I hope he does a good job. I hope people see what a good guy he is.”

Rebekah Vardy ruled out of I’m A Celeb task

OHMYGOSSIP — Rebekah Vardy has been banned from taking part in tonight’s (29.11.17) challenge on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ following a bout of “dizzy spells.”
The 35-year-old WAG – who is the wife of Jamie Vardy – was meant to be taking part in the trial with Stanley Johnson after they received the most amount of public votes, but she had to pull out “on medical grounds” and has been replaced with Kezia Dugdale.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Wednesday (29.11.17) Alison Hammond – who was presenting a jungle segment – said: “Becky dropped out of the trial on medical grounds.
“She’s been getting dizzy spells, and was replaced by the person with the third most amount of votes, which was Kez.”
It’s believed the brunette beauty was getting bouts of feeling lightheaded because her body was struggling to deal with the lack of food the camp mates have been having.
This isn’t the first time Rebekah has been pulled from a trial as she was ruled out of the task Flushed Out – and any future trials involving fish on the creepy-crawly show – last week because of her life-threatening allergy to shellfish.
The brunette beauty’s best friend Nicola McLean – who took part in the jungle show in 2008 – said: “Becky is allergic to shellfish. Obviously they are conscious of campmates’ health, so they allergy test you and I know she has come back allergic to shell fish, so they won’t let her do any fish-based activity.
“It’s such a shame as she would have been brilliant at it. I know swimming with fish won’t kill her but it’s all health and safety first.”

Len Goodman to quit Dancing With the Stars next year?

OHMYGOSSIP — Len Goodman has subtly suggested he will quit ‘Dancing With the Stars’ after next year.
The 73-year-old choreographer caused uproar last year when he announced he was stepping down as head judge on the British version of the ballroom and latin show ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ but was continuing with the American series.
But he has hinted that he would’ve quit both of them at the same time if he hadn’t been locked in a four-year contract, which comes to an end at the end of 2018, with ABC.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’ on Wednesday (29.11.17), he said: “I done it for 12 years, I wasn’t getting too dithery, I wasn’t dribbling, there comes a time when you think I did it for 12 years. And I couldn’t do the flying backwards and forwards.
“On ‘Strictly…’ your contract is annual, in America it’s a different – I signed up for four. I’ve got one more for show. I loved ‘Strictly…’ it gave me everything.”
However, although he is glad he stepped away from the show when he did, he does miss it but he is impressed with his replacement – Shirley Ballas.
He said: “I think the standard was great, I think Shirley is doing a wonderful job. I’ve known her for all her dancing life. I’ve judged her hundreds of times. She knows her onions. I think she’s doing lovely jubbly.”
And, despite judging on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ in the US, Len has been keeping up to date with the British version and would like to see Debbie McGee win the series.
He explained: “I have no favourites, only because I have always wanted someone slightly older to do well and win it. For that reason I’d like Debbie McGee to win it. I admire a 60 year old who can cock her leg up like that.”

John Barrowman praises Jodie Whittaker signing in Doctor Who

OHMYGOSSIP — John Barrowman thinks it’s “about time” a woman was cast as Doctor Who.
The 50-year-old actor – who played Captain Jack Harkness in the sci-fi series in 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2010 – is pleased that Jodie Whittaker, 35, will take over the reins from Peter Capaldi when he steps down as the time-travelling alien next month.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Wednesday (29.11.17), he said of the new signing: “I think it’s great [that a woman is playing the lead role].
“There’s a lot of talk online about things but there’s no law that says it has to be a man. I think we should give her a chance, it’s about time there was a woman in the TARDIS.”
And he’s not the only one looking forward to seeing what the new show runner Chris Chibnall – who will replace Steven Moffat next year – will do with the character as Matt Smith, who played the Time Lord from 2009 until 2013 “can’t wait” to tune in.
He said recently: “It will great to see Peter go and see what they do for their last Christmas one with Steven but I can’t wait to see Jodie in it. I’m really, really, excited. I love ‘Doctor Who’, I’m a fan and I can say that because I was in it!”
And David Bradley – who will appear in the forthcoming festive special ‘Twice Upon a Time’ as the First Doctor – originally portrayed by William Hartnell – thinks ‘Doctor Who’ is in safe hands with Jodie because she has “all the emotional range you could want” in an actress.
He said: “She has all the emotional range you could want, and she’s going to be very funny as well. So she’s perfect for the Doctor, really.”
‘Twice Upon a Time’ will focus on the end of the First Doctor’s era and will feature the Twelfth Time Lord having to convince the original that he has to accept his regeneration.
The hour-long special will also be last appearance of Pearl Mackie as companion Bill Potts before Whittaker joins with her new TARDIS team; Bradley Walsh as Graham, Tosin Cole as Ryan and Mandip Gill as Yasmin.

Corrie’s Gary Windass to rise from the dead?

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Gary Windass is set to rise from the dead on Christmas Day (25.12.17).
Fans of the long-running soap were left devastated last month when they found out the former soldier (Mikey North) was being killed off in shocking scenes to air next week, but it looks like viewers can breathe a sigh of relief as the gripping storyline was all part of a shocking twist and the hunk will actually return to the cobbles – alive – over the festive season.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Bosses have been trying to keep the Gary news under wraps. They have been heavily building up to his death after. Fans were gutted.
“Gary’s mum Anna is told in next week’s scenes that he was killed driving a diplomat whose car was ambushed. To unexpectedly bring him back is a huge twist. Fans will love it.”
However, it won’t be smooth sailing for Gary upon his return as Pat Phelan’s (Connor McIntytre) daughter Nicola Rubenstein (Nicola Thorp) will have announced to his devastated girlfriend Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) by then that she’s expecting his baby after they slept together after a few drinks.
Mikey said recently: “Nicola is the only person who he’s told exactly what happened in Ukraine and what he had to do. That secret is one of the reason he feels an attachment to her Nicola is there at the right time, and in the heat of the moment Gary isn’t thinking.
“The truth is that the PTSD from when he was in Afghanistan is rearing its head, and Gary is very volatile. The pressures from this work are bringing a lot of demons back.”
Meanwhile, elsewhere on the cobbles, things aren’t looking good for Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill) as he’s set to collapse in his restaurant the Bistro following his testicular cancer diagnosis.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “It’s not looking food. He has been diagnosed with testicular cancer so viewers will be left wondering if this is it for him.”

Bruno Langley blames Corrie for sexual assault

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruno Langley molested two girls at a music event last month because he felt the need to prove his sexuality after playing a gay character on ‘Coronation Street’ for 16 years.
The 34-year-old actor – who pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault in court yesterday (28.11.17) – has claimed the stress of portraying Todd Grimshaw in the soap, which he has since been sacked from, was a factor in his shocking behaviour.
His lawyer Simon Hancock said: “It was completely out of character. Something happened that night, most possibly in relation to the character he was playing.”
A friend of Bruno’s added to The Sun newspaper after the case had concluded: “Bruno played a high-profile gay character for 16 years.
“People often think he’s gay in real life. He sometimes feels he needs to act more of a lad than he is to stop assumptions about his sexuality.”
Bruno was slapped with a 12-month community order, ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for five years and pay £500 in compensation after he admitted to groping two women – one in her 30s and another in her 20s – at the music event Band on the Wall in Manchester’s Northern Quarter on September 30.
The star pleaded guilty after the judge heard how he grabbed his first victim by her crotch after she collected her coat from the cloakroom at around 1am at the festival.
The victim told police that she thought about hitting the actor after he groped her over her clothes but she was too “shocked and angry” to act on her emotions and, in turn, asked Bruno whether he “did that on purpose?”, before reporting the incident to police.
The second victim told police that she too had been “forcefully touched” in an “intimate place” by the star “for a couple of seconds” before she managed to push him off.
The community order subjects Bruno to 40 days of rehabilitation and a 12-week electronically monitored curfew after he admitted that he had a problem with alcohol.
Judge Hadfield told the court that she doubts Bruno will work in showbiz again.

Tom Hardy to help adapt A Christmas Carol for the BBC

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hardy has teamed up with Steven Knight to adapt Charles Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’ for the BBC.
The 40-year-old actor will work alongside the ‘Peaky Blinders’ and ‘Taboo’ writer on the adaptation of the novel, which will air on BBC One at Christmas time in 2019.
Tom said: “It’s extremely exciting to have the opportunity to team up with Ridley Scott, Steven Knight and our partners at the BBC with this rare and wonderful opportunity to revisit and interpret Dickens’ classic works. ‘A Christmas Carol’ is a fabulous magical piece of theatre and an embarrassment of riches for our creative team – from character all the way through to design. Here’s to having a lot of intricate and wonderful fun. We feel very lucky.”
Stephen added: “Any question about narrative storytelling is answered by Dickens. To have the chance to revisit the text and interpret in a new way is the greatest privilege. We need luck and wisdom to do this justice.”
‘A Christmas Carol’ – which follows the story of Ebenezer Scrooge – is set to be produced by Ridley Scott’s production company Scott Free and Tom Hardy’s Hardy Son & Baker.
Ridley shared: “It’s terrific to be continuing the creative partnership of Scott Free London with Tom and Steve that started with Taboo and continues with this exciting and ambitious anthology of British classics.”
It is not known how many of Dickens’ novels they plan to adapt but there are set to be more announced in due course.
Piers Wenger, Controller of BBC Drama, said: “Steven’s unique ability to reimagine the past and to turn it in to must see drama make him the perfect writer to reinvent Dickens’ most famous works for a new generation. And in A Christmas Carol, that most familiar of Dickens’ stories, he has found the perfect place to start.”
And Charlotte Moore, Director of BBC Content, added: “It’s incredibly exciting to have a genius like Steven Knight embark on a series of Dickens adaptations. What can I say? Be prepared to be blown away by his wholly original and visionary take on some of Britain’s best loved classics.”

I’m A Celebrity camp mates annoy bosses with boring talk

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ camp mates are being fed topics to talk about in the jungle as producers are worried the contestants are too boring.
Bosses were hoping there would be “lively debates” around the camp fire, initiated by the likes of Jamie Lomas, Stanley Johnson and Rebekah Vardy, but so far, they have failed to impress with their topics of conversation, so much so that producers have started lending a helping hand.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “They were hoping the inclusion of strong characters like Jamie Lomas, Stanley Johnson and Rebekah Vardy would spark a few lively debates.
“But that has yet to materialise at all. ITV has used the technique of scripting reality in other shows like ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ and have seen amusing results. If viewers are wondering why conversations around the campfire feel a bit forced, it’s because they are.”
It comes after Amir Khan and Kezia Dugdale had some strong words with each other after they clashed over fire-making duties.
Amir thought Kezia had put too many logs on the fire, whilst Kezia thought it was just the right amount.
She told him: “I’m going to just do it this way if that’s ok because I’m going to boil up some water and get the water sorted out. What’s wrong with it the way it is?”
But Amir accused her of wasting logs and later went to the Bush Telegraph to complain.
He added: “There were too many logs on the fire, I mean why waste logs? The thing about Kez is that she doesn’t like to be told when she’s done something wrong, she likes her way to be the right way all of the time.”
He also confided to campmate Jamie that he was finding it difficult to get along with Kezia.
He said: “She’s just mad isn’t she, she’s got a s**t load of logs on there and I said no point wasting logs just keep one or two on there, I took one off and she said why did I only take one off I should have taken another one off, there’s no point arguing with her.”

Ant and Dec apologise to I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! producers

OHMYGOSSIP — Ant and Dec apologised to producers after making fun of the Bushtucker Trial on last night’s (28.11.17) ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’.
The popular presenting duo struggled to contain their giggles as they introduced the Space Your Fears trial, while they also mocked the “cheap” and “terribly-named” Bush Blaster spaceship.
But as the radio host Iain Lee prepared to take on the challenge, Ant and Dec offered an apology for their “rude” behaviour.
Ant explained: “Now, we’ve been a bit rude about the trial tonight and the producers had a little word with us during the ad break, so we won’t be doing anymore of that.”
And his co-star added: “Absolutely, we won’t be doing it anymore.”
At that point, the pair both looked skywards, pretending to talk to the producers, and they said together: “Sorry guys.”
Then, Dec sarcastically said: “So here it is, the best trial of ‘I’m A Celebrity’, already guaranteed a BAFTA, if not an Oscar!”
The task saw Iain given 11 minutes to climb into a makeshift rocket and space station, where he had to search for nine stars amongst drawers filled with creepy crawlies while hanging 100 feet in the air.
The final star was worth two stars – bringing the total to 11, which marked a meal for each campmate – and was hanging just out of reach, and so Iain had to jump from the space station to catch it.
The radio host ultimately completed the challenge with just two seconds to spare.
Speaking after his trial, Iain said: “It was great, it was traumatic, I was terrified, I did it. I’m thrilled.
“I can go back to the group and say ‘Look I know you feel you’ve been carrying me as a bit of dead wood, well I’ve earned my space at the table tonight.’ So I’m very chuffed.”

Karen Clifton says ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ takes its toll on her relationship

OHMYGOSSIP — Karen Clifton says ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ has taken its toll on her relationship with Kevin Clifton.
The 35-year-old professional dancer has been married to her 35-year-old spouse for two years, and though the brunette beauty insists “everything is fine” between them both, she has admitted it is “not as easy” maintaining a strong marriage while working on the BBC One show.
Speaking to The Sun Online, she said: “Everything is fine. It adds a little bit of spark to the relationship and it just means that we care about each other. We just need to keep pushing and relationships take work, it’s not as easy as you think, especially being in a job like ‘Strictly’.”
However, the star believes every relationship has their fair share of “ups and downs”, but it does not mean you give up and have to part ways, as couples have to “make it work” instead.
She continued: “We’re just a regular couple, we’ve been together for seven years and like any other relationship you have your ups and downs and nothing is ever perfect so you make it work.”
Karen, who was paired with Simon Rimmer on the popular latin and ballroom dance show but were booted off in week six, has hinted she is glad her partner and Susan Calman have left the show because it’s “nice” to have Kevin at home with her.
She said: “He’s doing great, he’s resting so he’s actually getting some sleep now.
“I always take care of him so if anything I always come home and I cook for him and do his laundry so it’s just nice to have him home.
“There’s been lots of wine drinking and taking naps.”
Karen is not the only one who has admitted ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ puts a strain on a marriage, as Kevin has admitted he has found the last few weeks competing in the programme “hard”.
He previously said: ” Strictly’ is a hard few weeks for everyone and Karen and I have found this year’s particularly hard as we have been in different places since the start — with her in Manchester and now London and me in Glasgow.
“I’m looking forward to getting home.”

Billie Faiers to wed abroad

OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Faiers is getting married abroad.
The 27-year-old reality star – who has kids Nelly, three, and Arthur, nine months, with fiance Greg Shepherd – has previously put her wedding plans on hold to focus on her kids, but now they are growing up little, she and her partner are ready to focus on getting their nuptials booked for 2019.
She told Closer magazine: “We’ll start planning next year but I think the actual wedding will be the following year as we’ll need time to get organised.
“We’ll probably look at a few venues over here just to be sure but I think we’ll end up doing it abroad just because we love going on holiday.”
The former ‘Only Way is Essex’ star has adjusted to having two children now but admits it is “different” to when she and Greg only had Nelly to worry about.
She said: “Two does feel different. And it means the house is always busy, but we’re so happy.
“Arthur is such a laid-back baby, he is so lovely.
“And Nelly loves being a big sister. Now Arthur is that bit older, he’s responding to her and laughing, which is so lovely to watch.
“It takes a bit of juggling as both Greg and I work, but we’re lucky because we have family who will help us with childcare if we need it.”
Billie loves the fact she and her sister Samantha – who has Paul Jr., 23 months, and a two-week old daughter with her partner Paul Knightley – have had children so close together.
She said: “We are so happy and excited, it’s always lovely to have a new baby in the family.
“Sam and I are so close, we see each other near enough every other day. And we’re so happy that our children are going to grow up together.”

Iain Lee bags meals for his I’m A Celeb camp mates

OHMYGOSSIP — Iain Lee managed to bag a meal for each of his ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ camp mates after he aced his bushtucker trial.
The 44-year-old comedian and radio presenter took part in the ‘Space Your Fears’ trial during Tuesday’s (28.11.17) episode of the ITV celebrity reality show, and after facing his fear of heights, he was able to come back to camp victorious.
Prior to completing his trial, his fellow camp mates were unsure if he would be successful, following the disaster he faced during his first trial, when he came back empty handed after breaking down in tears.
Rebekah Vardy said: “I would love to eat tonight, but you know, we’ll see what happens. If he does he does, and if he doesn’t, he’s going to get told off.”
Iain himself also wanted to use the trial – which involved searching for stars on a spaceship suspended 100 feet in the air – to prove himself to the rest of the camp.
He said before tackling the challenge: “I’m pleased I’ve been given another opportunity to have another go. To push myself, and test my limits. My best may not be the best that Jamie’s is, or Amir’s is, or anything like that, but I’m going to confront it and give it my best crack.”
The task saw Iain have 11 minutes to climb into a makeshift rocket and space station, where he had to search for a total of nine stars amongst drawers filled with creepy crawlies, all whilst hanging 100 feet in the air.
The final star was worth two stars – bringing the total to 11, which marked a meal for each camp mate – and was hanging just out of reach, meaning Iain had to jump from the space station to catch it.
In the end, the talkRADIO host completed the challenge with just two seconds to spare.
Speaking after his trial, he said: “It was great, it was traumatic, I was terrified, I did it. I’m thrilled. I can go back to the group and say ‘Look I know you feel you’ve been carrying me as a bit of dead wood, well I’ve earned my space at the table tonight.’ So I’m very chuffed.”
‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ airs daily at 9pm on ITV.

Jake Gyllenhaal to play art critic in next movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Jake Gyllenhaal is immersing himself in the LA art world for his latest movie.
The 36-year-old actor – who is getting an Oscar buzz for his latest role in ‘Stronger’ – is reportedly working on a currently untitled art-world movie for Netflix where he will star as an art critic, the New York Post reports.
A source said: “He plays an art critic in a revealing look at the art market in LA that involves billionaire collectors, gallerists, auctions and sales. He plays the critic and he’s busy doing research.”
The film – which will be helmed by Dan Gilroy – will see Gyllenhaal re-team with his ‘Nightcrawler’ co-star Rene Russo.
In his latest movie, ‘Stronger’, Gyllenhaal stars as Jeff Bauman who was injured in the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013 and lost both his legs, but recently the actor admitted he found it tough to bring humour to the character.
He shared: “I think just sometimes understanding his sense of humour in the midst of, like, pretty dark things, that was hard for me.
“Because I think I sometimes take situations too seriously and I think his sense of humour, how crude it is in the face of situations where you never expect it.”
He also admitted the experience of learning about Bauman’s subsequent challenges taught him a lot about himself.
He told Entertainment Tonight: “What he made me realise is that inside of us all is a superhero. Inside of us, in the darkest times, in times where we feel like people we love that were close to us are struggling and we won’t make it through another day, or another hour, a minute, or a second, there is that thing inside of us, and Jeff shows us that every day.”
In fact, Gyllenhaal has come to see his latest role as an “opportunity” to become a stronger person.
The Hollywood star explained: “Playing a character like that in a film was an opportunity for me to learn that about myself and see my own faults and see my own weaknesses, but also, as Jeff reminds me every day, see my own strengths in places that I never thought I could be strong.”

Mark Hamill shock at Skywalker cutting off wampa’s arm

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Hamill has revealed he was “horrified” when his ‘Star Wars’ alter ego Luke Skywalker cut off the arm of the wampa in ‘Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back’.
The 66-year-old actor starred as the young Jedi in the original trilogy – and will reprise the iconic role in the upcoming eighth movie in the franchise, ‘The Last Jedi’.
In the second movie in the series, his character gets attacked and dragged into an icy cave by the carnivorous, white-furred species known as a wampa on the planet Hoth.
Although Luke escapes by using the Force to summon his lightsaber to cut away the ice, the wampa begins to charge towards him and the young Jedi cuts the arm off the creature and then makes his escape.
However, Hamill recently admitted he was “horrified” to see the amputation and it was “unnecessary cruelty” – something his on-screen alter-ego would never do.
He wrote: “When filming scene I was assured my lightsaber swipe toward camera (creature not on set) would simply singe fur 2 scare him off-Horrified to later see amputation & unnecessary cruelty- Wampa was HUNGRY (not EVIL)-Luke would never do this!”
Now Hamill is reprising his role in ‘The Last Jedi’ and is set to feature other returning stars including the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa.
Other cast include Daisy Ridley (Rey), John Boyega (Finn), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Andy Serkis (Snoke) and Domhnall Gleeson (General Lux) who are all reprising their roles from the 2015 ‘The Force Awakens’.
‘The Last Jedi’ is slated to be released this December.

Russell Crowe teases sequel to Master and Commander

OHMYGOSSIP — Russell Crowe has teased a “potential” sequel to the 2003 ‘Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World’.
The 53-year-old actor starred as Captain Jack Aubrey in the maritime war movie helmed by Peter Weir, but despite the film not doing great at the box office and ended a proposed franchise, but now Crowe has teased he does “hear whispers” about a second voyage.
In a Twitter post, he wrote: “For the Aubrey Maturin lovers, I do hear whispers indeed that a second voyage is perhaps potentially pre-proposed a possibility. So O’Brian affectionate’s and aficionados, let @20thcenturyfox know of your pleasure. (sic)”
The movie is a lose adaptation of the Aubrey-Maturin novels by Patrick O’Brian and combined elements from 13 different novels but the main premise comes from ‘The Far Side of the World’.
However, the film adaptation takes place in 1805, during the Napoleonic wars, instead of 1813 during the Anglo-American War of 1812 and it’s reported this was changed in order not to offend American audiences.
The film follows brash Captain Aubrey and his trust friend Stephen Maturin (Paul Bettany) aboard the H.M.S Surprise as they are ordered to hunt down and capture a powerful French vessel off the South American coast.
Although Napoleon is winning the war and the men and their crew face an onslaught of obstacles, “Lucky Jack” is determined that nothing will stop the Surprise from completing its mission.
‘Master and Commander’ was critically well received and was nominated for 10 Oscars including Best Picture.
Winning in two categories – Best Cinematography and Best Sound Editing – the film lost out in all other categories to the final instalment of the ‘Lord of the Rings’ franchise.

Anna Kendrick stars secret Chris Morris movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Kendrick is the star of a secret new Chris Morris film that was shot in the Caribbean this summer.
The ‘Pitch Perfect’ star posted a picture of herself on set an FBI uniform with body armour and carrying a rifle, in what is now believed to be a scene from the as-yet untitled-project, according to comedy news site Chortle.
Anna quipped: “Body army and guns are super heavy as it turns out.”
The ‘Trolls’ actress will star alongside Kayvan Novak, stand-up comedian James Adomian and ‘Orange is the New Black’ star Danielle Brooks.
Kayvan appeared in Chris’s last movie ‘Four Lions’ in 2010, a black comedy about a group of British Muslims plotting a terrorist attack.
Other cast includes ‘True Blood’ star Denis O’Hare, ‘Bones’ actor Pej Vahdat, stage actor Marchant Davis and Mousa Kraish, who plays the Jinn in ‘American Gods’.
Little is currently known about the plot details of the movie.
Pej wrote on Instagram: “By far one of the best experiences of my life. This film is going to be absolutely epic and I can’t wait for you all to see it.”
Denis recently described Chris as a “wonderful, wacky British director”.
Simon Blackwell, who co-wrote ‘Four Lions’, teased the storyline by saying: “I’m aware of what [Chris Morris is] cooking, but I can’t show you the menu I’m afraid. He has an elite troop of killers who will come and get you. He’s doing something marvellous, as you would expect.”
Filming took place in Florida, the Dominican Republic capital of Santo Domingo and at Pinewood Studios’ outpost on the island.
Chris’s most recent work includes directing four episodes of ‘Veep’.
He has suggested that his next project could be American and linked to a biopic of political strategist Lee Atwater, about the underhand tricks he used to get Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush elected. But Chortle reports this new film is not the Atwater story.
