Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo doing I’m A Celebrity for the posh girls

OHMYGOSSIP — Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo is doing ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here’ for the “posh girls”.
The ‘Made In Chelsea’ star’s mother Nicola has praised her daughter for showing that well-off females “really do know how to get stuck in” and get their hands dirty.
Nicola said: “Toff seems to be having a fantastic time, she is really taking to jungle life. I want her to go all the way. I am extremely proud of her, she is someone who lights up the screen, she is having fun, she is really enjoying herself and making people laugh.
“She is always in a good mood and if she isn’t in a good mood she never lets me see it. She just radiates positivity really. She loves having a party and having a laugh.
“Toff is showing us posh girls really do know how to get stuck in and don’t mind getting dirty. I think Toff has definitely got what it takes to be queen of the jungle. She is fun, positive and she is just delightful.”
And Nicola loves seeing Toff’s relationship with Stanley Johnson blossom and has likened it to the one she shares with her grandad.
She added: “Toff’s relationship with Stanley is so sweet. She has a really great relationship with her granddad and I think she has a respect for elders. And she loves the conversation, she is having a great time listening to Stanley’s stories. She likes discussing politics. I can’t wait to meet Stanley myself.”
Nicola admits it was one of “worse things” for her, watching her daughter be locked in underground for one of the Bushtucker Trials, but is amazed by how well she did with it.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I don’t think she has any problem getting stuck in and she is a real team player. When she was young, she loved playing tennis, rounders, any sport. Watching Toff underground, in the grave – that was the worse thing for me as a mum. But she did it and she was fine.
“She is not afraid of making noise, we have heard her screaming all the way back in Chelsea! She is just having the time of her life. As a mum I am extremely proud. She has to be herself and that is what she is doing.”

Amanda Mealing suffered from PTSD during Casualty cancer plot

OHMYGOSSIP — Casualty’s Amanda Mealing suffered from post-traumatic stress while filming her character’s devastating cancer storyline because it brought back crippling memories of her own illness.
The 49-year-old actress has received high praise from fans over the past month for her depiction of her alter-ego Connie Beauchamp’s battle with a cardiac tumour, but she has admitted the plot has triggered emotions from her real-life experience with breast cancer.
Speaking to the TV Times magazine, she said: “It has been a challenge; more than I thought it would be. To play a person struggling with cancer is to tell myself all day, every day, that I am sick. In some scenes I heard those words said back to me for real. It invited back old anxieties and my PTSD reared its head again.”
Amanda was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002 and went on to have a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy and, although she was willing to portray her character’s battle with the disease, she did have to seek help when her PTSD was at its worst.
She explained: “I’m happy to say I sought help at the time the PTSD was most debilitating, and was able to do so again this time. Anyone who’s survived or is fighting cancer or trauma will have been as affected as I was. When one is faced with one’s own mortality it’s not something you can ignore. Fifteen years on and I still use Breast Cancer Care’s services. It doesn’t stop once the medical side is over.”
Despite the challenge, Amanda doesn’t regret taking on the storyline because she’s pleased she can use her talent and real-life experience to raise awareness.
She explained: “It’s very close to my heart because ‘Casualty’ is a prime-time drama, it is our duty to highlight issues that may, and do, affect the whole nation.”

Anton Du Beke wants the BBC to install a statue of Sir Bruce Forsyth

OHMYGOSSIP — Anton Du Beke thinks the BBC should install a statue of Sir Bruce Forsyth at its headquarters.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star has called for the BBC to erect a tribute to the late presenter, who passed away in August at the age of 89, at New Broadcasting House.
He said: “It would be brilliant in that lovely courtyard. It would be apt because we’ve all lived with Brucie through all of our lives. He was 89 when he passed away and he worked for most of that time – he was ever-present.
“From the beginning of TV. From those days at the London Palladium all the way through to ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ he was ever present. He was the best entertainer there was. We spent a lot of time together on the show as well as playing golf. He was my hero. It was incredible when my hero became my friend.”
And Anton wants to be “massively involved” if there is a tribute concert set up in Bruce’s honour.
He added: “I would say it should be at the Palladium. That’s where it all began for Brucie on TV. The night he hosted the show on his own with Norman Wisdom during the strikes was greatest night ever on British TV. I don’t know what they’re going to do yet. I’d love to be massively involved if there is.”
The 51-year-old dancer found out about the sad news in group rehearsals and all of them stopped dancing for the rest of the day.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “We were in group dance rehearsals in August when we heard sadly Bruce had passed away. It’s the only day I know of that the dancing has stopped. It was a very difficult day.
“Such a sad day. I feel sorry for the young dancers who never got the chance to work with him. They never had that experience. We were able to put together Strictly’s dance tribute to him which was wonderful. It was nicely put together.”

Blue Planet to get 3rd series?

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Blue Planet’ boss James Honeyborne thinks there’s “potential” for a third series.
The second instalment of the marine show – narrated by Sir David Attenborough – is set to come to a close next week but, after becoming this year’s most watched TV show, the programme’s producer would like to release another batch of episodes in the near future because he believes there’s “so much more to explore” in the underwater world.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, James said: “We are working with our co-producers at BBC America on potential exhibitions. It’s something we’d love to do.
“We have only scratched the surface with ‘Blue Planet II’. We are only just coming to terms with the immense popularity of the series. It’s wonderful for us to know oceanography and marine biology can attract that sort of audience. There is so much more to explore. There’s always potential for ‘Blue Planet III’.”
The second ‘Blue Planet’, which hit screens 16 years after the first aired, took over a decade-and-a-half to film and put together but bosses are no doubt hoping that David will be fit enough to narrate the third instalment – providing it happens – as he’s already said he’d like to make another series of ‘Planet Earth’ and has no plans to retire.
The 91-year-old naturalist said previously: “I see no reason whatsoever why I can’t live past 100. Earth has enough wonders to make more than three ‘Planet Earth’ series.
“The beauty of natural history programmes is they can appeal across all ages and all conditions and people can take out of it their own particular interests.”
But, although David thoroughly enjoys looking into life on land and sea, he’s got no desire to pay a visit to space because he doesn’t believe there’s life up there.
He explained: “There’s no life in space.
“Here we’ve got this wonderful kaleidoscope, this fantastic world.”

Shayne Ward ‘to leave Coronation Street’

OHMYGOSSIP — Shayne Ward is to leave ‘Coronation Street’.
The former ‘X Factor’ winner will bow out of the soap, in which he portrays Aidan Connor, next May in an “explosive” storyline after more than two years in Weatherfield.
A source said: “Everybody wants Shayne leaving to be a huge part of the show next year.
“Bosses are working on it at the moment and have something really explosive planned for the character.”
While Shayne’s exit looks set to be a huge “TV moment”, some ‘Corrie’ fans will be disappointed to see the factory favourite leave the cobbles.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: “Nobody will see this coming. Viewers are going to be absolutely stunned. It’s going to be a blow for the fans — but also a massive TV moment.
“Shayne has become one of Corrie’s most popular actors.
“He’s a huge hit with fans and has even won awards for his performances.”
The 33-year-old actor’s ‘Coronation Street’ casting was announced in May 2015 and he first appeared on screen as Aidan in August 2015.
He was initially handed a one-year contract as Aidan, a distant cousin of Kym Marsh’s character Michelle Connor, and was recently involved in a love triangle with Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) and Maria Connor (Samia Ghadie).
Shayne – who previously starred in musical ‘Rock of Ages’ in the West End – scooped Best Newcomer at the 2016 National Television Awards.
Following his casting, the singer-and-actor admitted it was a dream come true to land the part.
He said: “On hearing the news I had been offered the part on the show I was in total disbelief. It still hasn’t sunk it.
“Shayne Ward, the lad from Manchester, given such a role on such an iconic show – it is an absolute dream come true. I’m excited to walk down those famous cobbles.
“My family and friends know just how much this means to me and I cannot wait to do them all proud. 2015 has been a great year for me so far and I look forward to joining the ‘Coronation Street’ family.”

Shirley Ballas not sure about Strictly Come Dancing future

OHMYGOSSIP — Shirley Ballas doesn’t know if she’ll be back on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ next year.
The 57-year-old dance expert replaced head judge Len Goodman on the current series of the show, and while she’s having a “wonderful” time, she hasn’t decided if she wants to commit beyond the current series.
Asked if she’ll be back in 2018, she told The Sun Online: “Let’s wait and get this season over with first.
“It’s been an experience. And at 57! It’s been wonderful.”
Shirley also hit out at the viewers for complaining when fan favourites are sent home, when it is actually the audience vote which decides the bottom two.
She said: “They put Alexandra [Burke] in the bottom two and if I would have sent her home they would have blamed me but they put her there.”
But the Queen of Latin admitted she had asked not to be involved in deciding the dance off.
She admitted: “I asked if I could judge on this but no I have to judge on that.”
This year’s competition has been very closely fought and Shirley has no idea who will be lifting the glitterball trophy.
She said: “It’s an unpredictable season.
“You can’t call it. I think it’s going to go either way.”
Shirley previously admitted she finds the dance off incredibly hard.
She said: “Having the deciding vote is the hardest part of this job and the thing I dread every week…
“The judges make their decision based on the dance-off alone, not on previous performances. It is getting really tough now – it’s anyone’s to win.
“But if you have a favourite, make sure you vote.”

Mark-Francis Vandelli snubs Celebrity Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark-Francis Vandelli has rejected an approach to take part in ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ star has no interest in going into the famous abode because he wouldn’t be able to live in the luxury which he is accustomed to.
Asked if he’d go on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’, he told heat magazine: “I would not even open an email that suggested anything like that.
“Even today, my agent sent me an email about ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. Is anyone going to be doing my hair in this house? No? Then no.”
And Mark-Francis can’t believe his ‘Made in Chelsea’ co-star Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo is taking part in ‘I’m A Celebrity…’.
He said: “I don’t know what she was thinking going in there.”
But the ‘Big Night Out’ star won’t be watching her in the jungle as he doesnt own a television because he thinks they are “ugly”.
He said “I don’t have a television because I think they’re ugly.
2A friend of mine has one behind a Canaletto [painting] with a remote control that makes the painting go up and down and I think it’s the most ugly thing ever.
“If I want to watch anything, I just watch it on iPlayer.”
When he isn’t working, the reality TV personality likes to go shopping for vintage furniture.
Asked what he spends his money on, he said: “Objects and furniture from the 18th century. Mostly French but sometimes Italian.
“I think the environment you surround yourself with is very important, so I try to curate that. And I love watches and jewellery.”

Amir Khan and Iain Lee cause I’m A Celeb conflict

OHMYGOSSIP — Amir Khan and Iain Lee caused uproar in the camp when they ate the reward from their Dingo Dollar Challenge without sharing with their ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ camp mates.
The 30-year-old professional boxer and the talkRADIO host completed a challenge on Wednesday’s (29.11.17) episode of the ITV reality programme to win a special one-off treat of strawberries and cream for the whole camp.
But instead of sharing the yummy fruits with their fellow camp mates, Amir and Iain decided to indulge in the goods themselves, and lie to their camp mates, telling them they had been unable to secure the treats.
Iain said: “I’m so torn, let’s just open them and have a look and see what we’ve got. This is the worst thing we’ve ever done.”
When the pair returned to camp, guilt weighed heavy on 44-year-old Iain’s mind, and he was forced to confess his deed to the rest of the group, although he spared Amir the same fate by insisting he ate them by himself.
He said: “I have something really horrible to confess. We won the strawberries and cream, I thought it would be really funny to eat them all on my own, I am not joking, I am beyond shame and cannot live with this anymore.”
While many of the fellow celebrities thought Iain was joking at first, retired footballer Dennis Wise was less than impressed.
He fumed: “Just out of principle guys that is so wrong, so wrong. Well this is all very simple if we win any more going forward you don’t get anything ok?”
To make up for their selfish blunder, both Iain and Amir went without the tasty camel flank that was served up for dinner after Kezia Dugdale and Stanley Johnson managed to win five stars for camp in the Bushtucker Trial.
‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ airs daily at 9pm on ITV.

Evangeline Lilly says Avengers 4 will borrow from Lost

OHMYGOSSIP — Evangeline Lilly has teased that ‘Avengers 4’ will have similarities to Season Four of ‘Lost’.
The 38-year-old actress shot to fame as Kate Austen in the mysterious ABC series and is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Hope van Dyne/The Wasp in ‘Ant-Man’ and will appear again alongside Paul Rudd in upcoming sequel ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp’.
Lilly will also be seen as her superhero alter ego in the next two instalments in the ‘Avengers’ franchise – ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers 4’ – and has spilled that there will be some time travelling going on, just like in ‘Lost’.
Speaking to Vanity Fair magazine, Lilly said: “When I heard about ‘Infinity War’ and the direction that they’re heading, I did have this moment of realising ‘oh, wow, there’s a bit of a déjà vu for me with the ‘Lost’ franchise. We are hitting that [‘Lost’] Season 4 space where everything’s about to shift and you’re about to lose the solid ground underneath you. And [‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’], of course, will play a part in that.”
‘Lost’, which ran from 2004 to 2010, follows the survivors of a commercial jet airliner crash, flying between Sydney and Los Angeles, which lands on a mysterious tropical island somewhere in the South Pacific Ocean.
The fourth season introduced the idea of flash-forwards after the third season finale revealed that some of the islanders did make it off the island, only to find they have to be forced to return.
Lilly also revealed that in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’, the two titular characters are trying to enter into the quantum realm and return back safely, and she teased if they are successful it will “open a whole entire new multi-verse”.
She said: “Those characters are experts in the quantum realm. In ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’, they are trying everything in their power to safely enter the quantum realm and return back from it because they have evidence from the first film that Scott Lang (Michael Douglas) was able to that. If he can do it, why can’t we? If we do succeed in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’, then that does open a whole entire new multi-verse to enter into and play around in. I’m not the story creator, so I can’t tell you what they’re going to do with that. But I definitely see the potential there.”
In August, Lilly teased her new costume for the anticipated sequel which is slated for release in July.

Stephen Graham says actors shouldn’t be cast on looks

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen Graham has criticised actors who only get roles because they are good looking.
The 44-year-old actor – who is best known for playing violent racist Andrew ‘Combo’ Gascoigne in ‘This is England’ – has starred alongside many Hollywood hunks, such as Johnny Depp in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise.
But Graham revealed he finds it infuriating when “s**t” actors get hired simply because of their looks but admires the likes of Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio who are both masters of their craft as well as being handsome men.
Speaking to ShortList Magazine, Graham said: “I’d never say who they are, but there’s a good few ballbags out there who haven’t got anything going on apart from their look. It happens. I’ve heard people go, ‘Yeah, we’ll get him!’ And I’ve said, ‘He’s s**t!’ Then they’ve said, ‘But he looks good and he can pull an audience.’ Aw, f***ing hell. Really?’ I only have to look at the amazing character actors that came before me. I’ll never be Mr f**king Darcy, and that’s fine. I’d never want to be. But if I’m totally honest with you, I’ve found that most leading men aspire to be character actors.
“Because that’s what it’s about, isn’t it? Creating a character. That goes for most great actors. Leonardo DiCaprio is a character actor. All day long. And the thing about Leo is, he’s a handsome man, but in every role he plays, he tries to make himself look nothing like he really is.
“Same with Johnny Depp. The ‘uglier’ or the ‘quirkier’ he looks, the better. They’re both great character actors. Tom Hardy, again, a very handsome man, but he doesn’t play on that.”
Graham also has some important advice for any young actors who are starting out in their careers.
The ‘Boardwalk Empire’ star insists you need to develop “skin like a rhino” to deal with the rejection if you’re going to make it in showbusiness.
He said: “It’s f***ing horrible. My advice to any young actor or actress is to develop skin like a rhino. You can’t take anything personally. Because I’ve walked into a couple of jobs, and straight away they’ve looked up and you know. In your head, you go, ‘F**king hell.’ ‘OK, sit down. Would you read it, please?’ You’re not even f***ing looking at me. The moment I walked in the door, the decision was made.”
The full interview with Graham appears in this week’s Male Beauty issue of ShortList, out Wednesday 29 November 2017.

Richard Gere never had a career plan

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Gere never knew where he wanted his career to go.
The 68-year-old Hollywood actor has starred in a number of varied movies, from ‘American Gigolo’ to ‘Pretty Woman’ – and was even in the musical adaptation of ‘Chicago’ – but Gere admitted he said it makes his life “more interesting”.
Speaking to The I Paper, Gere said: “Maybe my agent had a plan, but I never did. That’s probably why you see it going in so many directions. Which I like. It makes it more interesting for me to discover my life, my career, whatever I do, as it’s happening.
“It’s always filled with surprises. I’ve been extremely fortunate that way.”
Gere’s latest movie ‘The Dinner’ – helmed by Oren Moverman – follows two couples who are dining at an upscale restaurant and during the course of their meal their polite discourse disguises the fact that they are all struggling with family issues.
Gere stars alongside Laura Linney in the new movie, which is his third collaboration with the actress as well as Steve Coogan and Rebecca Hall, and said Coogan goes into some “very dark territory”.
He said: “He’s very brave and goes into some very dark territory – not just emotionally, but psychologically as well.
“You think he’s initially the truth-teller in our story and then the film shifts and you realise that he has some really serious problems and the movie starts to take on another point of view. Oren is always interested in people in extremis; he’s interested in society, how people fit into society and the responsibility of culture and society to the individual. ‘The Dinner’ is about that. Who are we responsible to, and on what level? Are we here just to protect our closest family, or even just our kids? Or do we teach them responsibility for our actions? So you have this argument coming from four different points of view.”

Sigourney Weaver says Gorillas in the Mist was life-changing

OHMYGOSSIP — Sigourney Weaver admits playing Dian Fossey in ‘Gorillas in the Mist’ was a life-changing experience.
The 68-year-old actress portrayed real-life American primatologist in the 1988 movie adaptation of Fossey’s autobiography of the same name, and her performance earned her the Golden Globe award for Best Actress.
Weaver has admitted the role had a “massive impact on her life” and changed her views on the environment and the animals that humans share the planet with.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, Weaver said: “Dian Fossey has had a massive impact on my life. I’d never spent time with wild animals but waking up with them, spending time with them day after day – I felt like a great gift had been given to me. It changed the way I see the planet.”
The film – which was helmed by Michael Apted – follows Fossey (Weaver) as she leaves America for Africa where she studies the gorillas of Rwanda and Uganda.
As Fossey develops a bond with the apes, she also becomes wary of the poachers who prey on them.
Fearing that the gorillas become extinct if humans continue to hunt the animals, she organises a defence league to protect the gorillas put her actions put her own life in danger.
Fossey – who was murdered in her cabin in Rwanda in 1985 – along with Jane Goodall and Birute Galdikas were known as the so-called Trimates as all three focused their research on primates, and Weaver described them as “trailblazers”.
She said: “Dian Fossey and Jane Goodall, these women were trailblazers. There needs to be more to take up the challenge.
“There are still big problems. There’s an estimated 900 gorillas in Rwanda now. The Fossey Fund work has greatly enhanced the situation and the programme has been embraced by Rwandans.
“But against that we live in a world where we’re in danger of losing 50 per cent of all our species. We need to respect the fact that animals have rights and can teach us so much.”

Margot Robbie wants to keep playing Harley Quinn

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie hopes she can continue playing Harley Quinn in the DC Extended Universe.
The 27-year-old actress starred as The Joker’s girlfriend in ‘Suicide Squad’ – which was helmed by David Ayer – back in 2016 and is set to reprise the role in the upcoming sequel and ‘Gotham City Sirens’.
Margot hopes that she can follow up those two movies with more outings as the “insane” villain.
Speaking to Variety, Robbie said: “It’s so weird when people want to know about you because you’re like, wait, my whole job is not being me. Me? I don’t know, I’m boring.
“But, like, these characters are amazing, ask about them. Harley’s one of those insane characters and people do seem to really like her, so I hope I get to keep playing her.”
Robbie also revealed she only signed on to do the supervillain movie because she loved ‘End of Watch’ – which was directed by Ayer – and admitted to seeing it “four times at the cinema”.
She said: “The reason I signed on for ‘Suicide Squad’ was because I love ‘End of Watch so much and I saw it about four times at the cinema.”
‘Suicide Squad’ follows a group of highly dangerous incarcerated supervillains who are used as a black ops group top protect the US from extreme threats.
Harley is joined in the team by Deadshot (Will Smith), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) and El Diablo (Jay Hernandez) who must work together to stop Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) from conquering the world.
Although a sequel is in the works, Ayer stepped away from the movie to focus on ‘Gotham City Sirens’ with Gavin O’Connor, 53, stepping up to the job of helming the DCEU sequel.
Mel Gibson was previously linked with the vacant director’s chair, but has quashed the speculation.
Other filmmakers in the running to helm the sequel included Jonathan Levine, Daniel Espinosa and Ruben Fleischer, who has since took over directing ‘Venom’ for Sony Pictures.

Scarlett Johansson says Avengers 4 feels ‘bittersweet’

OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Johansson admits to experiencing “bittersweet” emotions on the set of ‘Avengers 4’.
The 33-year-old actress stars as Black Widow in the Marvel movies, but as the money-spinning franchise looks towards its Post-Phase Three – which includes all the movies made after ‘Avengers 4’ – Scarlett has admitted to having mixed feelings.
Speaking on the set of the fourth ‘Avengers’ film, which is due to be released in 2019, she said: “It’s bittersweet to imagine not having these films to come back to. I’ve been living this story with these people for 10 years through ups and downs. We’ve built a great family. Personally, it feels like a loss.”
On the flip side, Scarlett has welcomed the recent introduction of new characters and new actors into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which she believes has breathed new life into the franchise.
She told Vanity Fair magazine: “We have Brie Larson on this film. She’s here before shooting the stand-alone Captain Marvel movie so we get to watch her get her feet wet for real.
“She’s so great, but a really cute thing happened the other day where Hulk is standing next to her and [director] Joe Russo told her to put her hand in front of Mark [Ruffalo]’s face to stop him, and she’s like, ‘In front of his face?’ And they explained, ‘that’s where his chest is,’ and she looks up and yells, ‘I’m new! I’m new!’ I’m like, ‘damn, girl.'”
Despite having mixed feelings, Scarlett feels excited about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
She explained: “It’s very surreal for me to watch these new cast members come in and get their feet wet and breath new life into these characters who are so iconic. I feel a lot of joy for the next generation.
“It’s a bittersweet feeling but overall it’s a positive one. I feel good about the work we’ve done and the work I’ve done.”

Daisy Ridley was ‘surprised’ by ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ plot

OHMYGOSSIP — Daisy Ridley was “surprised” by ‘The Last Jedi’ storyline.
The 25-year-old actor has reprised her role as Rey in the upcoming fantasy science fiction movie, which is slated for release next month, and she has admitted she was taken aback by plot line because she felt the various stories in the franchise are finally “coming together and connecting”.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning America’, the star said: “I was more surprised with this one because there’s a few storylines that [are] sort of coming together and connecting.
“Rey is trying to find out about herself and about the universe and those questions don’t entirely fall to the good nor do they fall entirely to the bad. She’s trying to do her own personal growth.”
The brunette beauty made her debut appearance in the popular film series in 2015 when she starred in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, but she believes she has come a long way since then as she is now “proficient” with using a lightsaber after training solidly for 12 months.
She explained: “[I am] more proficient with a lightsaber. I never really trained before the first one and the second one I was training for a year. So I had more stamina and I felt really strong.”
The ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ beauty stars alongside Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker, in the movie, and she felt “very lucky” to be his co-star, and to also work with Harrison Ford (Han Solo) and the late Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia).
Speaking about her fellow cast mates, she said: “It was wonderful because obviously I was very lucky to be able to work with Harrison [Ford] and Carrie [Fisher], and when I worked with Mark for the first time, we went for dinner with his family. And then we had time for rehearsals and we’re shooting with him a lot, which was really amazing.”
