Stanley Johnson is being lined up for wildlife show

OHMYGOSSIP — Stanley Johnson is reportedly being lined up for his own wildlife show.
The 77-year-old politician and author won over the hearts of the nation last month when he entered the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ camp and, now that he’s out of the jungle, bosses at ITV are keen to speak to him about fronting his own series.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “When he gets back there will definitely be discussions about more TV. He is very likeable on screen and has huge knowledge on the environment, particularly gorillas. He spoke a lot about the environment in the cap.”
However, the ITV’s rival the BBC will no doubt be devastated to learn of the channel’s plans as they reportedly signed him up for next year’s series of ‘The Real Margiold Hotel’ – before he went into the jungle – and believe his recent stint has ruined their big surprise.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Obviously Stanley was under strict instructions from ITV to keep his appearance totally secret. But bosses at the BBC are still annoyed because they had no clue he was appearing on a major rival. They’ve already signed him up and are well under way with making the show, so it’s too late to change anything.
“He was being planned as a major surprise and there were high hopes he’d be the big hit. But the excitement of getting him on board has been really overshadowed.”
Meanwhile, Stanley was one of the favourites to win ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ so he was understandably shocked and disappointed when he was given the boot this week.
He said: “You know, I was really disappointed not to win. I didn’t go in there thinking: ‘Let’s get out early so we can have a nice weekend in the Gold Coast.
“I was totally disappointed, honestly. I gave it my best. It didn’t work. The people were fantastic , the place – Australia – the finest rain forest you can imagine.”

Joe McFadden quits Holby City

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe McFadden has quit ‘Holby City’.
The 42-year-old actor – who is currently taking part in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – recently teased that he was toying with the idea of bowing out of the medical drama, but fans were in for a shock last night (07.12.17) as his loveable alter-ego Raffaello ‘Raf’ di Lucca was dramatically shot dead by Fredrik Johanssen (Billy Postlethwaite).
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, he said: “We filmed it a couple of months back. It has been hard to keep a secret because I’ve been doing lots of interviews for ‘Strictly’ and people have been asking me about ‘Holby’.
“I always dreaded the day when I would leave. It has been four years since I’ve done a play or been on stage. ‘Strictly’ has certainly given me a hunger.”
Just two weeks ago, Joe revealed that he wanted to leave the medical drama in an “explosive storyline”, but told fans they had a little longer of him on screen.
He said at the time: “If and when it does happen it would be nice to have the big exit, as an actor no-one wants to leave in the back of a taxi even if it means being killed off. And obviously a big stunt would be brilliant!”
Although he’d like to bag a theatre gig, Joe is currently pouring his attention into the ballroom and latin show and has admitted it’s not just the performance side of things he’s enjoying – he’s also developed a love for weekly fake tan sessions.
He said previously: “I’m doing the fake tans every week — it’s all part of the experience. In fact, I went double dark the other day. It’s like a colour chart where you choose.”
However, there are some parts of the dancing show that Joe is still trying to get his head around – the restrictive costumes.
He explained: “Some of the things are quite surprising, like your shirt is attached to your pants which I found quite odd in the beginning.
“And being stitched into things . . .  they always stitch you in just in case buttons pop open — unless they are supposed to be open for things like the Paso Doble.”

Stephen Bear and Charlotte Crosby ‘just friends’

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen Bear insists he and Charlotte Crosby are “just friends” now.
The on/off couple were recently said to have rekindled their relationship, but the 27-year-old reality TV star has admitted they are not back together and that it is the “best way” for them to be pals rather than lovers.
He said: “We’re just friends, I’m single, she’s single, we’re just mates and I think that’s the best way for now.
“She’s cool, she’s funny, she makes me laugh, she was a great girlfriend, but it just didn’t work and we broke up, and now I don’t want to rush into anything.
“We message each other just once in a while, we don’t talk about anything that serious, but we get on.”
Bear insists he is not ready to start dating again after being with Charlotte for nearly a year because he would feel “disrespectful”.
He said: “Never say never I suppose, but for now we’re just talking and just friends, we just talk about general stuff, whatever.
“It’s always sad when couples split though. I think people loved the love story, but in reality all couples have arguments and nothing’s perfect. We’ll always be friends though.
“I’m just not ready to date at the moment, to sit next to anyone and start talking to them, or start ringing people up and asking to do something.
“I was in a relationship for so long, I find it quite disrespectful to start dating this soon.”
Instead of dating girls again, Bear wants to focus on learning a new language.
He added to The Sun Online: “All I wanna do is learn Spanish, I know it sounds crazy, but I want to self-improve.”

Megan McKenna: Pete and I talked about marriage

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan McKenna has hinted she and Pete Wicks talked about “marriage and having babies” the day before they split-up.
The former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star-turned-country singer appeared to share details of her intimate relationship as she sang about her heartbreak at her first London gig.
According to The Sun newspaper, Megan introduced her new track ‘History’ by telling the sell-out crowd: “So you know when you’re with someone and you talk about marriage and having babies and you get all excited … then the next day it all ends.”
The 25-year-old reality TV star split from her on/off boyfriend Pete, 28, earlier this year.
Megan – who topped the iTunes Download Chart with her debut single ‘High Heeled Shoes’ – poured out her heart as she appeared at London nightclub Scala, confirming to the crowd: “Yes, I’m single.”
The ex ‘TOWIE’ star even joked about her famous temper tantrums on the ITV2 show, saying: “There’s always ups and downs in relationships and I am made out to be the bad person, but I’m not.
“I’m really good in relationships.
“I may have a little meltdown … but don’t all boys and girls have meltdowns.”
In revenge track ‘History’, Megan sings: “How do you want me to fake a smile when I see you/Like I’m happy for you?
“I just can’t seem to let it go and I know that you’ve moved on/We’re done for good, we’re history.”
As the crowd cheered, Megan joked: “I need you all to back me up on ‘TOWIE’. But I won’t talk about that.”
Megan also performed a Miley Cyrus medley, including ‘Wrecking Ball’, and covered the Queen of Country Dolly Parton’s hit ‘Jolene’.
After the show Megan tweeted: “Such an amazing night!!!! Singing the one and only Dolly Parton hit Jolene! Such an unreal feeling and love seeing people enjoying it as much as I did!
“Dreams do come true, never give up. (sic)”

Debbie Rush thought about Corrie exit for 2 years

OHMYGOSSIP — Debbie Rush spent two years thinking about quitting ‘Coronation Street’.
The 51-year-old actress – who has portrayed waitress Anna Windass since 2008 – is set to depart the show at the end of the year, and she admitted it took her a long time to decide to leave because it is such a “terrifying” prospect.
She said: “It’s terrifying. It was frightening before I came into this as it’s tough and jobs are few and far between.
“But it’s what I did before and it’s what I’ll do again.
“I took a really long time to make a decision and talked about it for two years before I decided to go. I told my husband and children – and I have a very close inner circle – but we kept it under wraps for quite some time.”
But as time counts down to her exit, she’s feeling “excited” about what the future holds.
She said: “I have a month of filming to go, which takes us to the end of January on screen. As the weeks count down, I’m really excited.
“I’ve been here for nine years and loved every minute. The show has been very good to me and I’ve been really lucky with some great storylines.
“I feel highly respected by my colleagues and it’s scary to leave such a lovely job, but I just want to be creative again somewhere else. As an actress, it’s time to move on.”
However, Debbie doesn’t have any new roles lined up just yet.
Asked what’s next, she told Closer magazine”Just work. I’ve no plans. I’m a jobbing actress and that’s what I intend to continue doing.”

Dennis Wise out of I’m A Celebrity… camp

OHMYGOSSIP — Dennis Wise has been voted off ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The former footballer was in the bottom two alongside Amir Khan but then heard he had received the lowest number of public votes and left the camp.
And speaking to hosts Ant & Dec afterwards, he admitted the meagre “rations” and occasional days without food made his stint a “hardcore” experience.
He said of his time in the jungle: “Parts of it [were what I expected], but people don’t realise the rations you get, and I mean rations.
“And if you don’t get any stars you go a whole day through to the next night, it’s hardcore.”
Dennis, Amir and Jamie Lomas have come under fire for their treatment of campmate Iain Lee, with the 50-year-old sportsman criticised for telling the former ’11 O’Clock Show’ star not to do a trial after he previously quit on two tasks.
But Dennis insisted it was nothing personal towards the comic, he was simply thinking about food.
He said: “It was only because… he said ‘Get Me Out Of Here’ twice…. at the first trial you’re not worried but then when they haven’t done it twice, you begin to think, ‘We do need to eat.’ ”
However, he then suggested Iain had acted deliberately to “promote” himself.
He added: “But the next day Iain did the trial and I realised that there are people in there that want to promote themselves.
“When it came to yesterday – and I listened to Iain’s letter and I listened to Jamie’s – I realised then ‘Iain, go and do that trial tomorrow’, because you need to get the air time…
“There’s nothing wrong with that.”

Kathleen Kennedy wants Taika Waititi to helm s Star Wars film

OHMYGOSSIP — Kathleen Kennedy wants Taika Waititi to helm a ‘Star Wars’ movie.
The 64-year-old film producer took over from George Lucas as the President of Lucasfilm back in 2012 and became ‘Star Wars’ brand manager after The Walt Disney Company bought Lucasfilm.
Whilst promoting the eighth instalment of the hit sci-fi franchise ‘The Last Jedi’, Kennedy revealed she would love to see the ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ filmmaker take on one of the sci-fi movies.
Speaking to Newshub, Kennedy said: “I would love for him [Waititi] to direct a ‘Star Wars’ movie. I think he has exactly the right sensibility. It was very exciting to see him step into the Marvel universe and do such an amazing job with ‘Thor’.”
Although the current Skywalker saga already has its directors – with Rian Johnson helming ‘The Last Jedi’ and J.J. Abrams returning to direct ‘Episode IX’ after kicking off the new trilogy with 2015’s ‘The Force Awakens’ – Lucasfilm recently announced a brand new trilogy separate from the current saga is in the works.
Lucasfilm have signed up Johnson, 43, to a new three film series, the first of which he will write and direct, with long-time collaborator Ram Bergman on board to produce.
Kennedy said: “We all loved working with Rian on ‘The Last Jedi’.
“He’s a creative force, and watching him craft ‘The Last Jedi’ from start to finish was one of the great joys of my career. Rian will do amazing things with the blank canvas of this new trilogy.”
No release dates have yet been set for the movies. It has also been announced that a live-action ‘Star Wars’ TV series is going into production. The show will air on Disney’s own upcoming streaming service by the end of 2019.
The programme will be the first series within the universe since ‘Star Wars: Rebels’ was introduced in 2014. The animated series recently began its fourth season.

Ryan Reynolds joins Detective Pikachu movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Reynolds is joining the first-ever-live-action Pokemon film called ‘Detective Pikachu’.
The 41-year-old actor is joining Justice Smith and ‘Big Little Lies’ star Kathryn Newton in the movie, which is based on the popular gaming franchise, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Although Reynolds’ role has yet to be revealed, the film is set to follow Smith’s teenage character Tim Goodman, who has to team up with the mouse-like Pikachu in order to find his father who has been kidnapped.
Newton is set to star as a journalist.
In the game franchise, Detective Pikachu isn’t as agile as the normal fan favourite Pokemon, so has to rely on his intelligence to beat his enemies, and he gets help from Tim who is the only boy who can understand what the he says, to solve Pokemon-related crimes.
Rob Letterman is set to helm the new movie and has teamed up with Legendary Entertainment to oversee the upcoming movie which has been written by ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’s Nicole Perlman and Alex Hirsch who has worked on ‘Gravity Falls’, according to Variety.
Rather than a standalone film it is expected that ‘Detective Pikachu’ will act as a launch pad for a franchise.
The Pokemon Company’s long-standing movie collaborator, Toho, will handle distribution of the film franchise in Japan, as it recently worked in partnership with Legendary on the reboot for the ‘Godzilla’ franchise.
Reynolds has just wrapped up filming the highly-anticipated sequel to ‘Deadpool’ where he stars as the foul-mouthed titular character which is set for release next year.
Smith, 22, shot to fame in the Netflix musical drama series ‘The Get Down’ and was handpicked by director Baz Luhrmann and the actor then landed one of the leads in ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’.

Chris Evans wants Captain America and Human Torch spin-off movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Evans would love to see a Captain America and Human Torch spin-off movie.
The 36-year-old actor has starred as Captain America in five films so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is set to reprise his role in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers 4’.
However, starring as the shield throwing superhero isn’t the first time the actor has answered the call when the earth is in trouble after starring as Johnny Storm aka Human Torch in Fox’s ‘Fantastic Four’ and ‘Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer’.
Fox owns the complete rights to the franchise and any new character within its universe belongs solely to the studio – which led to the cancellation of the ‘Fantastic Four’ comic series.
But Disney – which now owns Marvel Studios – is currently closing in on a deal to try and get back the rights for the iconic comic book characters and Evans has waded in as to a potential spin-off if the negotiations are successful.
He wrote on Twitter: “So who do I talk to about a Cap/Human Torch buddy comedy spin-off? I’m thinking ‘Planes, Trains and Automobiles’ meets ‘Parent Trap’. (sic)”
Although the ‘X-Men’ franchise has been quite successful with both the Bryan Singer trilogy and the ‘First Class’ movies, however, Marvel does still have an input while making the films.
Fox needs Marvel to sign off on all TV deals regarding the superheroes, however, since the Marvel owns ‘The Avengers’ there has been some overlap with characters such as Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch – who have been members of both teams in the comics.
Unlike the popular ‘X-Men’ franchise, the ‘Fantastic Four’ films haven’t been as popular at the box office.
In 2015, the franchise was rebooted starring Miles Teller, Jamie Bell, Kate Mara and Michael B. Jordan as the titular Four, however, the film was poorly received by fans and critics alike.
These two franchises are not the only Marvel comic book heroes that belong outside of the Marvel Studios, with ‘Spider-Man’ being owned by Sony Pictures.
However, 2017 saw the first time Marvel Studios and Sony have worked together on the fan favorite superhero after Marvel sold the rights in 1985 for $225,000, with ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’.
This collaboration meant that Tom Holland – who portrays the webslinger – is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe rather than Sony’s.

Jack Dylan Grazer joins cast of Shazam!

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Dylan Grazer has joined the cast of ‘Shazam!’.
The 14-year-old actor – who is best known for playing Edward ‘Eddie’ Kaspbrak’ in the hit horror ‘IT’ – is set to play Freddy, the best friend to teenager Billy Baston who will be played by Asher Angel, Deadline reports.
Grazer and Angel join Zachary Levi, who will portray Billy’s adult superhero alter ego Captain Marvel, and Grace Fulton who will play one of Billy’s friends.
Captain Marvel was created by C.C. Beck and writer Bill Parker back in 1939 and first appeared in Whiz Comics #2 a year later.
‘Shazam!’ will focus on Billy, a boy who can transform into an adult superhero by uttering the magic word “Shazam”.
The word is an acronym of the ancient world gods and historical figures: Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles and Mercury.
Mark Strong is also in talks to star as the villain of the film.
David F. Sandberg is helming the new movie which has been penned by Henry Gayden and Darren Lemke.
Recently, Levi, 37, admitted he is “honoured and humbled” to be cast as the film’s titular superhero.
He took to Instagram following the casting announcement to post: “Honored and greatly humbled to be a part of the #dcuniverse by bringing the original Captain Marvel to life. I am beside myself with gratitude, not only for this opportunity but also the incredible outpouring of love and support from so many of you out there in the world. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be in the gym for the rest of forever. (amazingly cool art courtesy of @bosslogic) #Shazam (sic)”
Captain Marvel’s arch nemesis is the supervillain Black Adam, who will be played by Dwayne Johnson in a separate film which will build to a future big screen adventure in which they will both clash.
Recently, Johnson, 45, confirmed he was offered the opportunity to play both DC Comics characters, but decided to take on Black Adam because there’s more depth to his backstory.

Dexter Fletcher replaces Bryan Singer on Queen biopic

OHMYGOSSIP — Dexter Fletcher has replaced Bryan Singer on the Queen biopic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.
The 51-year-old actor and director has helmed films such as ‘Eddie the Eagle’ and ‘Wild Bill’ and is now set to restart production on the Rami Malek-led biopic after Singer, 52, was sacked by 20th Century Fox, Deadline report.
The ‘X-Men’ filmmaker has claimed his services were “terminated” by the studio after he asked for some time off to go back to the US to deal with “pressing health matters concerning one of my parents”.
In a statement, Singer said: “I wanted nothing more than to be able to finish this project and help honor the legacy of Freddie Mercury and Queen, but Fox would not permit me to do so because I needed to temporarily put my health, and the health of my loved ones, first.
“‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is a passion project of mine. With fewer than three weeks to shoot remaining, I asked Fox for some time off so I could return to the US to deal with pressing health matters concerning one of my parents. This was a very taxing experience, which ultimately took a serious toll on my own health. Unfortunately, the studio was unwilling to accommodate me and terminated my services. This was not my decision and it was beyond my control.”
Singer denied speculation his exit was down to “a dispute” with lead star Malek – who will play the band’s late frontman Mercury in the motion picture – but admitted they did have “creative differences” on set at times.
‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ will chart the rock band’s story up to their appearance at the Live Aid charity concert in 1985.
As well as Malek portraying enigmatic footman Freddie Mercury, Ben Hardy will portray drummer Roger Taylor, Joe Mazzello is in line to star as bassist John Deacon and Gwilym Lee will play lead guitarist Brian May.

Tom Holland still shocked to be Spider-Man

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Holland will never “get used to” playing ‘Spider-Man’ in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The 21-year-old actor made his first outing as the webslinger in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and then received critical acclaim for his performance in this year’s standalone movie ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, but Holland admitted being a big screen superhero is something will always struggle to get his head around because he was just the “small kid” at school.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Thursday (07.12.17) while promoting a new campaign for The Brother’s Trust – a charity set up by Holland to raise money for charitable causes around the world – he said: “It’s not really something you can get used to. I mean, when you’re a kid from Kingston who was the smallest kid on the rugby pitch it doesn’t really make sense that now I’m a superhero.
“I think the beautiful thing about being a superhero is that you get to do things like this. I mean if you’re a superhero on screen you should try to be real heroes in life. Our motto for the Spider-Man tour was ‘real heroes don’t wear capes’ or something like that. It was about helping to make a difference.”
Holland – who grew up in Kingston-upon-Thames in South East England – is set to return as Spidey in the highly-anticipated ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and in the first trailer for the movie, his iconic character is seen wearing brand new high-tech suit.
‘Avengers: Infinity War’ will see the hero squad – Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Vision (Paul Bettany), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) – join forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to save the Earth.
The two teams will have to work together to fight intergalactic tyrant Thanos, with some help from newcomers Spider-Man (Holland), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Dr Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and will mark the screen debut of Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).

Lindsay Lohan reveals her Mean Girls ambition

OHMYGOSSIP — Lindsay Lohan is “game” to make another ‘Mean Girls’ movie.
The 31-year-old actress starred as Cady Heron in the 2004 hit teen comedy, which was written by Tina Fey and produced by Lorne Michaels, and Lindsay has revealed she’d be keen to reprise the role.
The Hollywood star – who admitted she’s “trying” to get the movie off the ground – said: “I’m here in New York, so Tina Fey better be hiding or I’m going to find her and Lorne Michaels. I know where his desk is.”
Lindsay also revealed what she thinks her ‘Mean Girls’ character would be up to these days.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, the actress shared: “I’m thinking she’s been living in Africa and adopts children, very Madonna.”
Despite once being one of the most sought-after actresses in Hollywood, Lindsay currently lives in Dubai, and she doesn’t envision moving back to the US anytime in the near future.
Lindsay enjoys living a low-key existence in the Middle East, where she’s able to escape the pressures she would face at home.
She explained: “I love living in New York, but I do love the serenity and peace that I find living in the Middle East because there are no cameras in Dubai and I can actually focus on what I want to do in life.
“I don’t always have to be scrutinised every second. I can have a private life and have a public life, but when I choose to. And I think that’s really important.”

Margot Robbie’s I, Tonya hesitation

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie “hesitated” about starring in ‘I, Tonya’.
The 27-year-old singer admits she was nervous about signing up for the movie – which follows the life story of figure skater Tonya Harding – because Tonya’s life has been “so well documented”.
She said: “I definitely had hesitations in that it’s an added responsibility to play a real-life person who is still alive – especially one that’s so well documented, that people can obviously compare what I’m doing. But it also provided an incredible resource in my research, so it was kind of a double-edged sword in that respect …
“I didn’t realise that everyone knew it to the extent they did, and everyone had already passed judgment on her. I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into in that regard.”
And Margot admits it was “definitely a challenge” that people had already made their minds up about Tonya but she enjoyed being able to help people explore it more.
She added: “It was definitely a challenge but kind of an exciting challenge to approach a situation [where] people had already made up their minds, or thought they knew all about [it], and kind of give them a reason to explore it further and explore another side to the story.”
In the movie, Margot plays Tonya when she was 15-years-old and admits it was “weird” putting fake braces on for the role.
She told E! News: “As 15-year-old Tonya, I actually weirdly looking in the mirror of my mum and my 10-year-old nephew – who’s a boy – so I was really confused by that. I was like, ‘How does this…?’ “I mean, it was very reminiscent of the era, obviously. I felt very young wearing braces again. I had braces at that age; I remember how painfully self-conscious I was at that age about everything. When I was little, my mum cut my hair short in a bowl cut, too. I obviously am a ’90s baby, so the fashion has a sense of nostalgia for me. I felt transformed; I didn’t feel like myself.”

Catherine Tyldesley to sex up Corrie with bondage-style reindeer outfit

OHMYGOSSIP — Catherine Tyldesley will spend her final Christmas on ‘Coronation Street’ dressed as a sexy “reindeer”.
The 34-year-old actress is leaving the ITV soap after six years in the role of bolshie barmaid Eva Price, and has teased the raunchy costume that she has dubbed “illegal”, which she turns up to a children’s school play dressed in, will certainly set a few pulses racing over the festive season.
And the blonde beauty can’t wait for viewers to see vicar Billy Mayhew’s [Daniel Brocklebank] face when he sees her turn up in the provocative outfit.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: “It’s so illegal! It’s a children’s nativity at a community centre, and I felt bad actually wearing that outfit in front of children!
“There’s nothing fluffy about it – it’s a bondage-y reindeer!
“But it’s very funny – that’s the comic relief at Christmas.
“It’s great with vicar Billy’s reaction because he’s like: ‘Oh my God, this is for the kids and this is very Ann Summers.'”
Eva will be involved in a fling with Adam Barlow [Sam Robertson] in coming weeks, a light-hearted break from the hideous storyline involving monster murderer Pat Phelan [Connor McIntyre].
Catherine decided to bow out of the show in order to pursue other acting roles, but fans don’t have to shed a tear just yet as her departure won’t air until next summer.
She said previously: “‘Coronation Street’ has been a dream job for me which is why this was such a difficult decision to leave.
“Eva has been such fun to play over the last seven years, and who knows, one day she might storm the cobbles of Weatherfield again. In the meantime I’m excited about the future, new acting projects, and spending time with my family.”
It’s not yet known how she will leave the programme, but it’s believed she and bosses have already decided how they want the ending to pan out.
A spokesperson for the show said: “We can confirm that Cath Tyldesley will leave ‘Coronation Street’ at the end of her current contract next year after seven years in the show. Cath’s portrayal of Eva Price has made her a firm favourite amongst fans and she will be missed. The producers and writers are currently working on her exit storyline which be on screen in early summer.”

Pete Wicks and Chloe Sims to spend xmas together

OHMYGOSSIP — Pete Wicks will spend Christmas with Chloe Sims.
The ‘Only Way Is Essex’ stars have decided to celebrate the festive season together after growing close after the 28-year-old hunk’s split from Megan McKenna following a series of blazing rows over his close bond with the busty blonde.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “It confirmed what Megan feared all along. Fans of the show saw Megan getting upset about their cosy relationship and it made her look insecure – but this just shows she was right all along.
“Pete and Chloe have been able to properly talk now that he has split up and they’re both in emotional states right now so the timing was perfect.
“They’ve sought solace from each other and have quickly grown close. So much so that they’re now going to spend Christmas together.”
Pete dated Megan, 25, on and off for over a year but their relationship came crashing down a few months ago when the brunette star saw photographs of him and Chloe.
The ‘It’s All About Megan’ star has since decided to quit ‘The Only Way is Essex’, which she claimed made their relationship harder, in order to focus on her singing dreams.
She said recently: “I have left’ TOWIE’. At the moment I’m trying to do my tour, I’m in the studio, I’m recording and it’s amazing, I feel like I wanted to juggle both but it got to the point where I have too much to do for my music and that’s my dream.”
Meanwhile, although he’s said to be getting cosy with Chloe, Pete has reportedly signed up to the new series of ‘Celebs Go Dating’ in order to find his perfect woman.
A source said: “A week after his split with Megan went public, Pete was approached about appearing on ‘Celebs Go Dating’. He met with the casting agent and is seriously considering it. Being on ‘TOWIE’ is great, but he’d like to show more of his fun side on TV and ‘Celebs Go Dating’ would be perfect for that.
“The show would love to sign Pete up – he’s handsome, has loads of fans and it would be no problem to find girls to set up with him for dates.”
