Dancing on Ice studio roof has ‘holes in it’ after storm battering

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘Dancing on Ice’ studio roof has “holes in it” after it was battered by Storm Eleanor.
The skating show is set to launch this weekend on ITV, but bosses are in a frantic rush to get maintenance in to repair some damage to the building after 100mph winds and torrential rain lashed against the studio in London last night (04.01.18).
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’ today (05.01.18), weatherman Alex Beresford – who is taking part in the show – said: “During storm Eleanor, the side of the studio actually came off. When I got to the studio yesterday, if you looked up you could actually see the sky – it’s got holes in it.
“Hopefully when we go there today it’ll be fully fixed and we’ll be alright for Sunday.”
And, although the 37-year-old hunk has been training for the competition for the past three months, he’s only skated once on the official rink and has admitted it’s “scary.”
He explained: “It was scary, there are no barriers….it’s getting real now. The training is brutal, it’s so hard. It’s harder than we expected. We’re training five, six days a week. You’re always on your knees and get lower and so your thighs are always in tension.
“So my thighs are hurting… my groin, I’ve got a bit of a groin injury, so I’m just trying to take it easy. I used to rate myself and think I could skate a little bit.
“I used to ice skate weekly when I was a lot younger in school, then I stopped and I’d only ice skate at Christmas when the ice rinks pop up.”

Olly Murs was rejected by Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Olly Murs was once rejected by ‘Big Brother’.
The ‘Heart Skips A Beat’ hitmaker – who shot into the limelight in 2009 when he came second on ‘The X Factor’ – applied for the civilian version of the reality TV show before he became famous alongside his call centre colleagues but he was given the snub.
During an interview with ‘Loose Women’ on Friday (05.01.18), he revealed: “I was working in a call centre at the time and this guy came in – and this was before technology and the internet was mad – he just found out that there was an open audition in London for ‘Big Brother’. I was like yeah why not let’s go! I got completed rejected.”
Despite his lack of luck, Olly is still a huge fan of the Channel 5 show, and admitted it’s still something he would “love to experience”.
He added: “I just love watching it, and it’s one of those shows I would love to experience… I don’t know how I’d do, I’m not sure you guys want to see me with my top off. And I can be quite opinionated too.”
Early rejection in his career has helped Olly as he joins the coaching panel on ‘The Voice’ for the new series – which launches on Saturday (06.01.18) – because he knows how the contestants feel on stage because he was given the cold shoulder from ‘The X Factor’ twice before they eventually put him through to the auditions with the judges.
He said: “[Turning someone down is] the hardest thing, it really is… We spoke about it a lot on camera. We’ve all been rejected.
“I did ‘The X Factor’ twice before I went through… I don’t wanna crush their dreams because that happened to me. I auditioned for the show twice, and I didn’t give up.”

Helena Bonham Carter to play Princess Margaret in The Crown

OHMYGOSSIP — Helena Bonham Carter is set to play Princess Margaret in the next two seasons of ‘The Crown’.
The 51-year-old actress is reportedly “all but confirmed” to play the riskier royal – the sister of Queen Elizabeth – in the HBC series after the decision was made to recast Vanessa Kirby, who played the part in the first two seasons, in order to continue the story, according to the Evening Standard newspaper.
The award-winning star was being eyed up to play Elizabeth in the show following the departure of Claire Foy but bosses decided she’d be better suited to Margaret while Olivia Colman will play the matriarch.
The 43-year-old star will play the role for the next two series – documenting the fourth decade of Elizabeth’s life – and then producers will go on the hunt for another actress to take over the reins in order to document the queen’s life from her 60s to her 90s – providing Netflix decide to recommission it.
The first instalment proved a huge hit with viewers – with Claire winning a Golden Globe for her portrait of Elizabeth II in the first ten episodes – and the second was equally as successful this year.
Although fans are no doubt devastated to see the 33-year-old beauty leave, it has always been clear from the start that another actress would be contracted to play Her Majesty from her 40s through to her 60s.
Speaking recently, Claire said: “This is the last stint, it’s over, I’m done.
“I always knew it was only going to be two series and then part would be reincarnated and someone else takes over. That’s the nature of the part.”
But Claire isn’t the only one leaving the cast, as Matt Smith – who played Prince Philip – is also being replaced with an older actor for the next chapter.
It’s not yet known who has been chosen to play the queen’s spouse.

Jodie Whittaker thinks it’s ‘brilliant’ she’s new Doctor Who

OHMYGOSSIP — Jodie Whittaker thinks it’s “f***ing brilliant” she’s able to create a milestone for ‘Doctor Who’.
The 35-year-old actress has become the first ever female to play the time-travelling alien in the sic-fi series and has admitted it’s become a “defining moment” of her life because she wants to prove to the younger generation that role models come in “different forms.”
Speaking to Total Film magazine, she said: “This is the defining moment of my life. I feel old enough for it. And I feel like I understand how important it is, and I’m so excited that the role models for young children, boys or girls… or teenagers, or adults, come in different forms.
“There’s nothing unattainable about me. I don’t look like I’ve been carved out of rock. I don’t sound like I’ve had the extraordinary glamour. For me, knowing what I thought were my limitations as a person and an actor, because this industry is about, ‘You sound like this, you look like this’… but I’m normal. And that was exciting to [Broadchurch co-star and former Doctor] David [Tennant] – it was a superhero he could play. And now it opens it a little wider, to women as well. It’s amazing to be a milestone, but how wonderful if it wasn’t, if it was just accepted, embraced. I’m not dissing the moment – it’s f***ing brilliant – but hopefully when people grow up, it’s not so much of a surprise.”
Jodie made her debut in the festive special last month and will appear later this year for the full series alongside Hollyoaks’ Mandip Gill, Tosin Cole and funnyman Bradley Walsh.
The brunette beauty has taken over the role from Peter Capaldi – who played the Doctor for four years – while Chris Chibnall has become the new show runner following Steven Moffat’s exit.

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford land chat show

OHMYGOSSIP — Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford have landed their own chat show.
The ‘This Morning’ hosts impressed bosses so much with their documentary ‘The 7-Year Itch’ last year that they’ve been given the opportunity to film their own weekly show for Channel 5 which will see them interview celebrities and discuss real-life stories.
A source told The Sun Online: “Eamonn and Ruth are a top presenting team so it’s no surprise there’s plenty of interest from TV producers. The show is at the pilot stage but there’s confidence within Channel 5 that it will become a full series. It’s an exciting time.”
The name of the show, which will air sometime this year, hasn’t yet been decided but producers are currently using the working title ‘What A Week With Eamonn & Ruth.’
It’s been a busy time for the couple recently as Ruth, 57, dedicated three months of her life last year to ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, while Eamonn, 58, received an OBE last week after he was recognised by Queen Elizabeth for his services to broadcasting.
He said at the time: “Ruth was even more thrilled than I was. I think she just thought it was very well deserved. It’s recognition of a body of work. There would be very few broadcasters that have the body of work that I have had.
“To be on TV at 19 and host a general election at 23, it’s unparalleled and unprecedented without anybody giving you a hand up. I did it on my own merits and worked very hard. The secret is reinvention.”
Eamonn moved to the BBC in 1986 but cemented his place on breakfast TV when he moved to ITV in the 1990s, where he worked on GMTV from 1993 until 2005.
He later moved to Sky, where he presented Sky News’ Sunrise, which he juggled for 10 years alongside a weekly Friday morning slot on ‘This Morning’ on ITV with Ruth.
Eamonn quit his role on Sky in 2016.

Dancing on Ice’s Matt Evers comes out at gay

OHMYGOSSIP — Dancing on Ice’s Matt Evers has come out as gay.
The professional ice skater has admitted he began to question his sexuality after he watched his uncle – who died from an AIDs-related illness over 20 years ago – be “banished” from his family prior to his passing due to their strict religious beliefs.
Speaking to Attitude magazine, he said: “He was part of the original San Francisco and New York Fire Island crowd back in the 70s and 80s.
“I didn’t know I was gay at the time, but when he was dying it hit me really hard that he didn’t know the love of his mum, my grandmother.
“They were strict Catholics at the tip of the Bible belt. I wasn’t aware of why his passing and the thought of him never being accepted by his own family hurt me so much until I realised I was gay. It’s scary, the difference between generations.”
The 41-year-old hunk – who was previously married to a woman – was inspired to come out as gay after Donald Trump, who he brands a “bully”, became President of the US because he wants young people in America to face their feelings.
He explained: “Donald Trump has given a voice to the bullies. Trump himself is a bully and I’m very outspoken about that. I live my life by example, and I want to show young people that what you feel or how you were born isn’t something bad.”
Meanwhile, Matt is set to grace UK screens this weekend as he guides Candice Brown through the first live show of the ‘Dancing on Ice’ reboot and he has admitted he’s thrilled that he has been given the opportunity to slip back into his skates.
Taking to his Instagram account earlier this week, he said: “I can’t thank you enough for all of your support over the past few years…
“A year ago my skates had been hung up permanently collecting dust in the closet, I had moved back to LA to continue my other passion in television but as fate would have it I’m back for @dancingonice I’ve never been more excited about life, my career and getting to share my life and work with all of you. I owe everything to my friends and family behind the scenes and feel very blessed to have all of your support as you’ve been there with me for the past decade now. (sic)”

Will.i.am: Olly Murs will be the nice guy of The Voice

OHMYGOSSIP — Will.i.am thinks Olly Murs is going to be the new Mr Nice Guy of ‘The Voice’.
The Black Eyed Peas star says the former star of ‘The X Factor’ – who is joining him on the panel of the ITV singing talent show as a coach alongside Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson – is going to be the funny man of the new series, and easy going with contestants.
Will told The Sun newspaper: “I love his personality, he’s friendly, nice, kind and he’s not going to be dominant.
“I think he could be an actor. There is a future for Olly in film. He’s like that Chris Pratt in ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ – he has that same type of charisma.”
But he did warn the 33-year-old singer and TV presenter not to take his flirting too far.
Will said: “Olly is charming and his flirting his cute, as long as he doesn’t make someone feel uncomfortable.
“The boundaries are blurred nowadays. What’s flirting and what’s harassment?
“It’s weird, that’s why I talk about spirituality – it’s safe.”
But the hip hop mogul admitted that it’s McFly’s Danny Jones – who he works with on spin-off show ‘The Voice Kids’ – who takes the top spot as his favourite coach.
Will said: “Danny on the Kids Voice is my favourite. He is the freest.
“He made me better at my job by being next to him, because he shares what’s on his mind.
“His mind is fast, I’ve never met anyone who is faster than my brain.
“I’m cruising with Tom, Jennifer and Olly, I have to slow my mind down. But with Danny I have to sprint, I have to be on my freakin’ toes.”
Meanwhile, Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson recently hit out publicly at Olly after being replaced by him in the new series of ‘The Voice’.
Will said: “That’s sad and it hurts that Ricky felt that way.
“I’m a collector, so I don’t really know how to dispose of things. My perfect Voice panel would include all of us.”

Leah Bracknell set to return to Emmerdale

OHMYGOSSIP — Leah Bracknell could be set to make a return to ‘Emmerdale’.
The 53-year-old actress – who was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in 2016 – has made no secret of the fact she’d love to reprise her role as Zoe Tate in the long-running soap, and it looks like an opportunity for her alter ego to make a sensational return is about to arise as her character’s nephew Joseph has just made his own comeback.
A source told The Sun Online: “Zoe is definitely alive and well out in the world but isn’t set for a comeback just yet.”
And the show’s boss Iain Macleod has added fuel to the fire that a return for Zoe is on the cards as he has teased that there is “scope” for the reintroduction of old characters now that Joseph – played by Ned Porteous – is back in his stomping ground.
He said: “Potentially there is scope to introduce other characters around [Tom and Graham] further down the line.”
Leah played the role of Zoe from 1989 until 2005 when her alter ego blew up Home Farm after she was forced to sell her lavish 11-bedroom mansion to the King family.
During her time on the show, Leah was involved in some major storylines – including her character coming out as gay and a battle with the mental health illness schizophrenia.
Meanwhile, the actress recently admitted that people haven’t been as keen to employ her since she revealed that she was battling cancer last year.
She said: No one is employing me since I was diagnosed, the phone hasn’t been ringing.”
Despite her devastating circumstances, Leah is refusing to let the illness get her down.
She said: “I wake up every day excited. I didn’t do that before the cancer.
“I’m just really glad to be here. I wasn’t expected to live that long, so I am just going to carry on, gloriously living, no matter what the doctors are saying.
“I could have died but I was still alive – that was a gift. I had to time to tell my family how much I love them and decide how I wanted to live.”

Ed Westwick recast in Ordeal By Innocence

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Westwick has reportedly been replaced in BBC drama ‘Ordeal By Innocence’ after he was accused of sexual assault.
The 30-year-old actor stands accused of sexual misconduct by three women who came forward with their allegations amidst the scandal surrounding Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, and in light of the allegations against him, the BBC have reportedly decided to pull him from their upcoming Agatha Christie drama series.
According to The Sun newspaper, producers have recast Ed’s role in the three-part drama production, with Christian Cooke – who previously held a role in TV series ‘The Promise’ – taking over the part of Mickey Argyll when reshoots begin next month.
The publication also claims the decision to recast Ed was made by the co-producers of the drama rather than the BBC itself, and both Agatha Christie Limited and Mammoth Screen have confirmed they will “reshoot sections” of the series, which is filmed on location in Scotland.
‘Ordeal By Innocence’ was due to air over the festive period last month, but producers made the decision to postpone the show in November when the allegations surfaced.
Ed, meanwhile, has denied the claims made against him by Kristina Cohen, Aurélie Wynn, and Rachel Eck.
Both Kristina and Aurélie have accused the former ‘Gossip Girl’ star of rape, whilst Rachel claims she was “aggressively groped” by the actor whilst at a party in 2014.
Ed took to social media shortly after the claims surfaced to slam the allegations against him as “provably untrue”, and insisted he would never do anything so “vile and horrific”.
He wrote: “It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and provably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude I have had anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct.
“I have absolutely not, and am cooperating with the authorities so that they can clear my name as soon as possible.”

Charlotte Crosby is having ‘fun’ being single

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Crosby is having a “great time” being single.
The 27-year-old reality star split from her ‘Just the Tattoo Of Us’ co-host Stephen Bear after almost a year of dating back in October and she’s enjoying having more opportunities to hang out with her female pals.
She said: “I’m having a great time being single. I’ve finally got time on my hands and I can have a laugh with my girls, but I’m looking forward to dating again this year. There are times when I’ve been sad but I never allow myself to be down for too long. I’ve got a good group of girls including Sophie Kasaei and Holly Hagan who always lift my spirits.”
And the ‘Geordie Shore’ star insists being in the public eye had nothing to do with the demise of her and Stephen’s relationship.
She told Closer magazine: “My relationship asn’t working with Bear, it made no difference that we were in the spotlight…
“My life has played out in the public eye since the beginning of ‘Geordie Shore’, but I’ve matured and become more confident in handling things.”
Stephen recently admitted he is responsible for the demise of their 11-month relationship and told Charlotte he wanted to marry her.
He wrote: “Dear Charlotte , I really messed up , if I can rewind the clock back maybe I wouldn’t of done the things I did and say. Life’s about making mistakes . I’ve just been really sad recently and I need to get it off my chest . I no being with me isn’t easy and I will probably send you insane in the end and I really do care and still love you . It might be too late but all I can do is try. The New Years coming up and I would love to spend the rest of my life with you.(sic)”
But he later told his followers she had shunned his attempts to get back together.

Neill Blomkamp has ‘moved on’ from Alien

OHMYGOSSIP — Neill Blomkamp has “moved on” from his ‘Alien’ movie.
The 38-year-old director had been eyed to helm an ‘Alien’ sequel with actress Sigourney Weaver, but the plan was subsequently scrapped after Sir Ridley Scott made ‘Alien: Covenant’.
Asked whether he’d moved on from the issue, Neill replied on Twitter: “Yes. I have moved on. What I meant was that I wish there was a way for fans to see some of what we had designed. It was an amazing chance to work in the world Ridley and James Cameron created. And collaborate with Sigourney.”
Neill previously admitted that his ambitions to make an ‘Alien’ movie were “totally dead”.
And the acclaimed director confessed that he’d been left feeling “sad” by the whole scenario.
He shared: “I think it’s totally dead, yes. That would be an accurate assumption at this point. It’s sad. I spent a long time working on that and I feel like it was really pretty awesome.
“But politically, the way it’s gone now and the way that it all is – it’s just not going to live.”
Prior to that, Sir Ridley – who helmed the original ‘Alien’ movie in 1979 – gave his own account of the situation, revealing that the proposed film never evolved “from a dozen or so pages”.
He said: “I don’t think it will ever see the light of day. There was never a script. Just an idea that evolved from a dozen or so pages.
“I had to participate as producer but it didn’t go farther because Fox decided it didn’t want to do it.
“As far I was concerned, I had already done ‘Prometheus’ and I was working on ‘Alien: Covenant’.”

Florence Pugh nominated for the EE Rising Star Award

OHMYGOSSIP — Florence Pugh has been named among the nominees for this year’s EE Rising Star Award.
The 22-year-old actress – who stars in the British crime series ‘Marcella’ and appeared in 2016’s ‘Lady Macbeth’ – has been included on the five-person shortlist for the coveted award, which has previously been won by the likes of Tom Hardy, Kristen Stewart and John Boyega.
Reflecting on her nomination, Florence explained: “The journey to get to this rewarding moment has been exhilarating, and so to feel recognition for doing something I love and the hard work many have put in feels very touching.”
American actress Tessa Thompson – who starred as Valkyrie in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ – and British duo Daniel Kaluuya and Josh O’Connor have also been named among the list of nominees.
Josh, 27, appeared in the British drama ‘God’s Own Country’ last year, and he’s admitted to being surprised by its success.
The critically acclaimed movie follows the story of a young sheep farmer in Yorkshire whose life is turned upside down by a Romanian migrant.
He told the Evening Standard newspaper: “I don’t think any of us working on the Yorkshire Moors filming this intimate story expected the incredible journey it has been on in the past year.”
The shortlist of nominees is completed by Timothee Chalamet, who stars in ‘Call Me By Your Name’, the Luca Guadagnino-directed drama.
The winner of the EE Rising Star Award will be announced at the BAFTA Film Awards on February 18.

Jamie Dornan doesn’t go full frontal in Fifty Shades Freed

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Dornan doesn’t show a “millimetre” of his penis in ‘Fifty Shades Freed’.
The 35-year-old actor is reprising his role as Christian Grey in the third instalment of the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ franchise this Valentine’s Day, but fans hoping the hunk would have a full frontal scene will be disappointed after the actor has gone the “other way”.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “There was hope that he would go all the way for the finale to encourage greater audiences, but it’s gone the other way. He will bare his bum but editors made sure Jamie doesn’t show a millimetre of his privates.”
Although Dornan – who is married to actress-and-singer Amelia Warner – will only be showing his rear, his co-star Dakota Johnson has bared all in the erotic movie blockbusters.
The final movie in the trilogy – which is based on the novel by E.L. James – follows newlyweds Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele (Johnson) who believe they have left behind the figures from their past.
However, as she steps into her role as Mrs Grey, he relaxes into an unfamiliar stability, new threats could jeopardise their happy ending before it even begins.
Johnson said last year she had made her parents “promise” not to watch the ‘Fifty Shades’ movies.
The 28-year-old actress – who is the daughter of actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson – admitted it is “hard” for her mother and father to know they’ll never see her in the raunchy high-profile trilogy, but she is thankful they agreed to her request.
Asked if they have seen the films, she said: “No, that is not happening, nor will it ever happen. That’s hard for them, just this huge movement around these movies that I’m part of, but not being able to watch them.
“I know it’s tough. But I made them promise and they respect that.”

Cate Blanchett will chair Cannes Film Festival jury

OHMYGOSSIP — Cate Blanchett feels “humbled” to have be named as chair for the 2018 Cannes Film Festival jury.
The Academy Award-winning actress will head the panel – which is made up of actors and filmmakers – tasked with choosing the Palme d’Or recipient for best film, and the other main prizes at the world-famous event.
In a statement, she said: “I have been to Cannes in many guises over the years – as an actress, producer, in the marketplace, the Gala-sphere and in competition but never solely for the sheer pleasure of watching the cornucopia of films this great festival harbours.
“I am humbled by the privilege and responsibility of presiding over this year’s jury.
“This festival plays a pivotal role in bringing the world together to celebrate story: that strange and vital endeavour that all peoples share, understand and crave.”
Cate’s predecessor was filmmaker Pedro Almodovar, who clashed with panelist Will Smith during the 2017 festival over where Netflix stands in the movie industry.
Cannes president Pierre Lescure and delegate general Thierry Fremaux have praised Cate while throwing their support behind her ahead of her exciting role.
In a joint statement, they added: “Our conversations this autumn convince us she will be a committed president, and a passionate and generous spectator.”
Cate’s appointment makes her the third female jury president in the last decade, following ‘Louder Than Bombs’ actress Isabelle Huppert in 2009, and director Jane Campion in 2014.
In 1993, Jane became the first – and to date, only – female filmmaker to receive the Palme d’Or, in recognition for her work on ‘The Piano’.

Meryl Streep believes Dustin Hoffman’s Kramer vs. Kramer slap was too much

OHMYGOSSIP — Meryl Streep has recalled Dustin Hoffman slapping her during a scene on ‘Kramer vs. Kramer’ and admits she always felt he overstepped the boundaries as an actor with his action.
Streep, 68, starred alongside Hoffman, 80, in one of her earliest films with her performance in the 1979 drama earning her the best Supporting Actress Oscar.
But Streep can never forget that on her first day on set being spontaneously struck by her co-star and although she can accept that Hoffman was in character and committed to his art she feels that his action would not be acceptable during a shoot now.
Speaking to The New York Times, Streep said: “That was when we were making ‘Kramer vs. Kramer’. This is tricky because when you’re an actor, you’re in a scene, you have to feel free. I’m sure that I have inadvertently hurt people in physical scenes. But there’s a certain amount of forgiveness in that. But this was my first movie, and it was my first take in my first movie, and he just slapped me. And you see it in the movie. It was overstepping. But I think those things are being corrected in this moment. And they’re not politically correct; they’re fixed. They will be fixed, because people won’t accept it anymore. So that’s a good thing.”
Hoffman, 80, has recently been accused by Anna Graham Hunter, who worked as an intern on his movie ‘Death of a Salesman’ in 1985, of sexually harassing her on the set 32 years ago.
Hunter alleged Hoffman “grabbed” her ass on the set and asked her to give him a foot massage and her claims led to him issuing a statement in which he said: “I have the utmost respect for women and feel terrible that anything I might have done could have put her in an uncomfortable situation. I am sorry. It is not reflective of who I am.”
This news comes just months after numerous Hollywood stars – including Kevin Spacey and movie mogul Harvey Weinstein – have been accused of sexual harassment and rape allegations.

Renee Zellweger wants to do another Bridget Jones movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Renee Zellweger wants to reprise her role as Bridget Jones.
The 48-year-old actress was so overjoyed with the response to the third movie in the romantic comedy franchise, ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’, that she would love to return as the hapless heroine.
Asked if fans will see her back as Bridget, she said: “I really hope so. I do. I love her. She’s so much fun.”
The ‘Down with Love’ star doesn’t think the fact the former hopeless singleton is now married with a child will be any problem for viewers, should there be another movie.
She told the Scottish Daily Record: “I really like the place she is at in her life, but it’s Bridget and there’s always going to be some drama. She’s so perfectly imperfect.”
Rene, who will next be seen in an adaptation of the novel ‘Same Kind of Different as Me’ as real-life housewife Debbie Hall – came out of a seven-year hiatus to make the movie, but was apprehensive about returning to the franchise at first as she didn’t want to taint the character.
She admitted previously: “I wanted it to matter and if you make a third film based on a character that is beloved to so many people, you want to be careful with it, and I felt a responsibility to (author) Helen Fielding.
“I wanted to know, in the process, that the story we told was based on something substantive.
“And that it was true to the tradition of this character and what she represents.”
There is plenty of room for a fourth instalment, as at the end of ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’, Hugh Grant’s bad boy alter ego Daniel Cleaver, who wasn’t in the movie, was reported as found alive in a newspaper article, after they all attended his funeral.
However, getting the ‘About A Boy’ actor back could prove difficult.
When quizzed on whether he’d be featuring in last year’s movie, he said: “I decided not to do it. The book’s excellent, by the way, but the script is completely different – well, the script as I last saw it a few years ago.”
