Corrie’s Eva Price is pregnant

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Eva Price is pregnant – but she doesn’t know who the father is.
The blonde barmaid – played by Catherine Tyldesley – is in for a shock next week when she learns that her dizzy spells have been a symptom of her pregnancy, but things aren’t as simple as that as she discovers that she’s 17 weeks along – meaning Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward) or Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) could be the dad.
Speaking to the Radio Times magazine, Catherine said: “She starts to panic a little bit, but in the back of her mind she really believes she’s not pregnant, so it’s a massive shock and a huge irony when she finds out that she is. Especially when you think a year ago she would have given anything to settle down and have babies, but after everything that transpired this is just the worst thing that could have happened.
“Initially, she’s just in shock. Then after she’s been to the doctors and discussed things she realises she can’t see any other way out of this situation than to have a termination. All she’s ever wanted is to meet Prince Charming, settle down and have a family, so the thought of getting rid of this baby is not an easy decision at all for Eva. She feels completely stuck with no way out.”
Although it’s a difficult story to portray, Catherine is thrilled that the soap’s boss Kate Oates has trusted her with such an emotional plot.
She explained: “It’s amazing, I just think the storylines that Kate Oates is bringing to the table are fantastic. But my heart bleeds for Eva all the time because she doesn’t think about consequences and it’s such a great tragedy the way it’s all ended up after the wedding. Eva and Aidan were perfect for each other and if only she’d managed to not be so stubborn things could have been very different.”
The pregnancy/abortion storyline will no doubt run up to the summer as that’s when Catherine – who has played Eva since 2011 – will bow out of the show.
The 34-year-old actress said: “‘Coronation Street’ has been a dream job for me which is why this was such a difficult decision to leave.
“Eva has been such fun to play over the last seven years, and who knows, one day she might storm the cobbles of Weatherfield again. In the meantime I’m excited about the future, new acting projects, and spending time with my family.”

Samia Longchambon almost snubbed Dancing on Ice

OHMYGOSSIP — Samia Longchambon almost turned down ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress, 35, fell in love with her now-husband Sylvain Longchambon on the skating show after they were partnered together for the series back in 2013, but she has admitted her fairy tale nearly never happened as she was in two minds about doing the series five years ago due to how dangerous it was.
She told OK! magazine: “If we hadn’t been skating partners I’d never have met Sylvain – it was life-changing. Weirdly, it’s the one reality show I always said I wouldn’t do because it was so dangerous, but I’m very happy that I did do it now.”
However, the couple’s relationship didn’t receive much support at the time because Sylvain, 37, was still in a relationship with Jennifer Metcalfe – who he met on the show in 2011 – and dumped her when he realised he wanted to be with Samia.
The French skater – who married Samia in 2016 and has two-year-old son Yves with her – has just returned to the rebooted show alongside Stephanie Waring but, despite the nature of the programme, the actress is “so excited” for her spouse.
She explained: “I’m excited for him. Skating is Sylvain’s passion and it’s what he was trained to do for his whole life. I love watching him skate. I feel so proud watching him do something he’s really good at.”
And the couple are pleased that Sylvain is based in Manchester for training because they were dreading him having to relocate to London for a few months.
Sylvain added: “When they told me I was going to be based in Manchester, I was really happy. Probably not as happy as Sam. We were both dreading me being based in London or some place far from home.”

Emma McVey dreamt baby had full set of teeth

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma McVey has dreamt that her baby will be born with a full set of teeth.
The 25-year-old model is just days away from giving birth to her little boy, whom she’s expecting with her boyfriend Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle, but she has admitted she’s been having some crazy vivid thoughts while she’s been sleeping – ever since her midwife told her that the delivery may be harder for her because she’s so petite.
Writing in her blog for OK! magazine, Emma said: “The more I think about it, the more I panic and worry it’s going to be horrific, so I think we’re just going to go with the flow. I would love a nice, quick and natural birth. I’d rather not have an epidural as the thought of it freaks me out, but one thing the midwife did say was that my hips are so small and narrow that it’s harder for birth but I’m not sure why. After they gave me that news I’ve been having really weird dreams, I dreamt the baby was born with a full set of teeth, hopefully that doesn’t happen, it would be a bit weird!”
The brunette beauty has been subjected to a series of cruel taunts throughout her pregnancy because her baby bump is so small but, despite the size of her belly, a scan last week revealed that the couple’s son currently weighs a healthy 6lb 4oz.
She explained: “Everyone thought I had gone into labour because of Gary’s tweet but it was just the final check. Despite being nine months pregnant even the midwife thought my bump wasn’t very big, but it’s because I’m so long, when I lay down she could see his shape, I think he’s growing upwards rather than outwards.”
Emma is due to give birth next week but there have been a few occasions over the festive period where she thought she was going into labour.
She added: “There were so many times over the festive period I thought I was going into labour, just the slightest cramp I panicked and thought he was coming.”
Gaz, 29, and Emma have been dating since August 2016, but they briefly split in May 2017 after she branded him a “cheat and liar”, before they rekindled again.

Matt Evers shocked by Candice Brown kiss

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Evers had “no idea” Candice Brown was going to kiss him at the end of their ‘Dancing On Ice’ performance.
The ice skating professional was shocked when the ‘Great British Bake Off’ winner seemed to plant a kiss on his lips at the end of their routine on Sunday (07.01.18) but says it was just a reaction to what she says was the “most emotional thing” that has happened to her.
Matt said: “I had no idea she was going to do that. I didn’t know how she was going to react in front of a live studio audience. So when she nailed the performance and she stayed in character, I looked at her and squeezed her hand and she looked at me and her eyes welled up.
“Of course she wanted to hug me and give me a kiss – it just happened. She told Jayne [Torvill] that moment for her was bigger than winning the ‘Bake Off’. Candice told her it was the most emotional thing she had ever experienced in all her life.”
Unfortunately for Candice, she ended up being the lowest scoring celebrity – when both the judges’ scores and the public vote was combined – and she will now face the skate off during next weekend’s show.
Matt added to The Sun newspaper: “I was nervous to see how Candice was going to react after being in the bottom two. But she sat me down and said, ‘I watched our performance back and I cried because I nailed it. I did exactly what everyone asked.’ At the end of the day she couldn’t be more proud of herself and she hasn’t let it knock her down.
“She is going to come back fighting. The lift she did on Sunday was very difficult. Some of the pros don’t actually do it. Candice is the only contestant on the show who hasn’t done anything in front of an audience. She is doing amazingly well – I have to mould her from nothing.”

Samia Longchambon’s daughter to join Coronation Street

OHMYGOSSIP — Samia Longchambon’s daughter’s “goal” is to join ‘Coronation Street’.
The 35-year-old actress’ little girl Freya, whom she has with her ex-husband Matt Smith, may only be seven years old but she’s already decided she wants to follow in the brunette beauty’s footstep and bag a role alongside her alter ego Maria Connor.
Samia explained to OK! magazine: “She is still dramatic. If anybody asks her what she wants to do she’ll says she wants to go on ‘Coronation Street’ when she’s older.
“That’s her goal. She’s quite theatrical. She does singing, plays the piano and does drama after school. She loves it all.”
The soap star also has two-year-old son Yves with her husband Sylvain Longchambon, whom she married in 2016, but she has admitted he seems to be taking after his French father at the moment.
Samia said: “At nursery the other week they said he is very strong and athletic. He’s two years old so he’s definitely not taking after me. They say he’s physically advanced so that’s different Sylvain.”
Sylvain, 37, added: “He understands both French and English. If I speak to him directly I’ll only speak in French but he hears me speaking English to Sam and Freya. He understands everything – when he wants to! He probably uses a little more English at the moment.”
And Samia is trying really hard to pick up the language of love herself too.
She explained: “I can get by. I can speak to Sylvain’s mum on the phone now.”
Sylvain added: “They can have a 20-minute conversation. I’m not sure that either of them understands what they’re talking about.”

India Willoughby claims to have a ‘phobia’ of drag queens

OHMYGOSSIP — India Willoughby caused a rift in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house after claiming she has a “phobia” of men who dress as women.
The star rose to fame after becoming Britain’s first transgender television newsreader, and in scenes of the Channel 5 reality show which were aired on Monday (08.01.18), she claimed she felt “disrespected” after Shane Jenek – who is known for his drag queen alter ego Courtney Act – helped ‘The Apprentice’ alumni Andrew Brady transform himself into his own alter ego named Betty Swollocks.
India appeared to be uncomfortable when Andrew showed off his new look, and as the other housemates praised his appearance, she sat in silence, wearing a pair of sunglasses to hide her eyes.
When Shane went over to ask her if she was having a “traumatic response”, the newsreader appeared to be crying, before taking herself off to the girls’ bedroom.
Looking on at the scene, journalist Rachel Johnson said: “She always does this, it always goes wrong. Always goes wrong.”
To which Jess Impiazzi said: “It’s not offensive, I don’t understand.”
Later on in the episode, US reality star Malika Haqq ranted to the other housemates about a conversation she’d had with India, whom she claimed said she felt “disrespected” by the idea of men dressing up as women.
Malika revealed: “She just brought up, ‘Just so you guys know, I feel disrespected and have a phobia of people who dress up like women’.
“And I went to ask her a question and she was like ‘No, no! You just need to…’ and I was like, ‘why are you yelling?’
“If you’re going to have a forum of conversation all of us have [been] asked questions and never once has anyone responded in that fashion. Male, female transgender, gay, bisexual, lesbian, whatever the heck you wanna be.
“She was given the option to leave the room. Why? Because everyone should not have to stop their fun for one person.”
It isn’t the first time India’s views have been met with criticism, as viewers branded her as hypocritical for her “phobia” of drag queens, after she previously slated Amanda Barrie for misgendering her.

Barbra Streisand criticises Golden Globes for lack of female director nominations

OHMYGOSSIP — Barbra Streisand slams Golden Globes for not recognising the work of female directors.
The 75-year-old singer-and-actress won one of the prestigious gongs for her 1984 movie ‘Yentl’, but while presenting the final award at the ceremony on Sunday evening (07.01.18), Streisand pointed out that it was only men listed in this year’s Best Director category.
She said: “So, backstage I heard they said something about me, I was the only woman to get – did I hear right – the only woman to get the Best Director award, and you know that was 1984. That was 34 years ago. Folks, time’s up. We need more women directors and more women to be nominated for best director. There are so many films out there that are so good directed by women.”
The 2018 awards saw many guests – both male and female – don black clothing in a united stand against sexual harassment in the movie industry.
Streisand also spoke on how “proud” she is to be surrounded by people who speak out against “gender inequality, sexual harassment and pettiness”.
She said: “I’m very proud to stand in a room with people who speak out against gender inequality, sexual harassment and the pettiness that has poisoned our politics.
“And I’m proud that our industry, faced with uncomfortable truths, has vowed to change the way we do business.
“Truth is powerful, and in a really good film, we recognise the truth about ourselves, about others, and it’s so powerful that it can even change people’s minds, touch people’s hearts and ultimately even change society itself.”
Streisand wasn’t the only person to point out that the Best Director nominees were all men.
Natalie Portman and Ron Howard were the presenters for the prestigious accolade and after the ‘A Beautiful Mind’ filmmaker stated that “we are honored to be here to present the award for best director”, the ‘Black Swan’ actress said: “And here are the all-male nominees.”
The eventual winner was Guillermo del Toro who scooped the gong for his romantic creature feature ‘The Shape of Water’ and although he did not directly address Portman’s remark he did make a point of praising “a few fantastic women” who worked on the film.
Del Toro was up against Martin McDonagh for ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’, Christopher Nolan for ‘Dunkirk’, Steven Spielberg for ‘The Post’ and Sir Ridley Scott for ‘All The Money in the World’ for the Globe.

Ewan McGregor wants to play Obi-Wan Kenobi in spin-off

OHMYGOSSIP — Ewan McGregor is “happy” to play Obi-Wan Kenobi in a ‘Star Wars’ spin-off movie.
The 46-year-old actor portrayed the Jedi Knight in the three prequels in the sci-fi franchise and now director Stephen Daldry is reportedly in early talks to helm a movie about the iconic character, who was originally played in the main franchise by the late Sir Alec Guinness.
McGregor was at the Golden Globes on Sunday night (07.01.18) and he walked away with the Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie prize for his performance in ‘Fargo’ and was quizzed on the red carpet about a potential return as the character.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, McGregor said: “There’s a lot of talk, and I’d be happy to play him again, but I don’t know anything more than you do. I saw the new one over Christmas and I thought it was really, really beautiful.”
If Daldry agrees a deal, he will oversee the development and script along with Lucasfilm executives for Disney.
If the film goes ahead, it will follow the Han Solo spin-off film, which was helmed by director Ron Howard, while Disney and Lucasfilm are also said to be considering other movies outside of the main ‘Star Wars’ franchise, including focusing on characters including Yoda and Boba Fett.
Obi-Wan played an important role in the original ‘Star Wars’ trilogy, acting as a mentor to young Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), a portrayal which saw Guinness earn an Oscar nomination.
And in the three prequels, which explore the origin of Darth Vader and his betrayal of the Jedi Order, Obi-Wan had a central part in training Anakin Skywalker who turns to the Dark Side of The Force and becomes the part robotic villain.
This isn’t the first time McGregor has spoken about reprising the role and his interest in making a return as Obi-Wan.
He recently said: “Listen, I have been asked about it a lot, to the point where it looks a bit like I’m sort of touting for work. I’ve been very open to say I’d be happy to do it, if they want to do it. I think they are set going into the 2030s with their movies, but it would be fun to do, of course I’d be happy to do it.”

Gary Oldman quotes Winston Churchill in Globes acceptance speech

OHMYGOSSIP — Gary Oldman quoted Sir Winston Churchill during his acceptance speech at the Golden Globes on Sunday (07.01.18).
The 59-year-old actor portrays the wartime British Prime Minister in ‘The Darkest Hour’ and Oldman won his first ever Golden Globes award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama for his stellar performance in the Joe Wright-directed film.
While accepting his award at the ceremony, Oldman said: “Winston Churchill said ‘my taste is very simple. I am easily satisfied with the very best’.
“And I am surrounded by the very best. I want to thank my wife who put up with my crazy for the last year and a half.
“She would say to friends, ‘I go to bed with Winston Churchill, but wake up Gary Oldman’. Which is, I suppose, better than the other way around.”
‘The Darkest Hour’ tells the story at the beginning of World War II as within days of becoming Prime Minister, Churchill must face one of his most turbulent and defining moments of the conflict: exploring a negotiated peace treaty with Nazi Germany, which could guarantee Britain’s independence and that of the Commonwealth.
As the Nazi forces roll across Western Europe and the threat of invasion of the UK, Churchill must resist attempts by his own political party and an initially sceptical King George VI, to stand firm against the dangers facing his country and not buckle to the Nazis.
During his speech, Oldman also spoke on the importance of the film and said it “illustrates that words and actions” can have an impact on the world.
He said: “I’m very proud of ‘The Darkest Hour’. It illustrates that words and actions can change the world and boy oh boy does it need some changing.”

Chris Hemsworth open to returning as Thor

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Hemsworth would love to play Thor again.
The 34-year-old actor has portrayed the Norse God of Lightning in the three ‘Thor’ movies as well as the two ‘Avengers’ blockbusters – and is set to reprise his role in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers 4’.
‘Avengers 4’ will be the last outing for Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) as their Marvel contracts are ending.
Despite this, Hemsworth told IGN: “If I had the opportunity to do it again, I think I’d love to. I also think there’s an appetite for it now, or there’s a far greater range of possibilities of where he can go now, what he can do, just because we’ve kind of broke the mould a bit.
“I’ve just, literally two days ago, finished ‘Avengers 4’ and that’s my contract – my pre-existing contract is done now, so it’s kind of like ‘wow, that’s it’.”
Hemsworth was last seen as the iconic Marvel Comics character in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, which was helmed by Taika Waititi.
And prior to appearing in the third movie, the Australian hunk revealed he’d rediscovered his passion for the character.
He said: “Two or three films ago I was like ‘okay, a couple more’. I was enjoying it but I was like… I felt a little restricted.
“And after this last experience with Taika, and actually these last two ‘Avengers, I feel like we’ve reinvented that character a number of times – even in these next two, he evolves again, and you don’t get that opportunity often in a franchise.
“So I definitely feel a renewed sense of excitement and enthusiasm, and more so than ever, I think.”

Ridley Scott planning another Blade Runner sequel

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Ridley Scott has revealed plans for a sequel to ‘Blade Runner 2049’.
The 2017 follow up to sci-fi action movie ‘Blade Runner’ marked the 25th anniversary of the 1982 cult classic and saw Harrison Ford return as Rick Deckard alongside Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto and Dave Bautista – and the Hollywood helmer has another story “ready to evolve” in the series.
When asked if he sees the potential for another sequel, the 79-year-old filmmaker told Digital Spy: “I hope so, I think there is another story. I’ve got another one ready to evolve and be developed, so there is certainly one to be done for sure.”
Scott directed the original ‘Blade Runner’, based on Philip K. Dick’s ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?’.
He handed over directing duties to Denis Villeneuve for the recent sequel, but was still involved in production.
However, the ‘Alien’ director previously admitted he had no interest in making a follow-up to ‘Blade Runner’.
Scott said: “You change over time. At that point I had no interest in ever doing a sequel, that’s why I never did a sequel to ‘Alien’ for another 20 years, and then I thought, ‘Do you know what, I’d better go back to this.’
“Because I’d done two science fiction [films], ‘Alien’ and ‘Blade Runner’, and I felt that that was it. That’s enough science fiction for a career. And of course, I never realised that the awakening of the science fiction universe, over many, many films, would get so large …
“We try not to repeat ourselves, and that’s why I always felt that I didn’t want to do a sequel.
“But returning to this now, I was asked by Alcon, they said there wasn’t a story. I said ‘well, actually there’s a very clear and present and straightforward story, which opens up into a more complex universe, with all its outcomes and characters.
“Because the very first film is a very clear indication of what the second will be.”

I do believe and I hope that we can elicit change through the stories we tell and the way we tell them.”
She went on to pay tribute to her co-stars Reese Witherspoon – who had also been nominated for the award – Zoe Kravitz, Laura Dern and Shailene Woodley – insisting the trophy was “ours to share”

Guillermo del Toro refuses to let orchestra ruin Golden Globes moment

OHMYGOSSIP — Guillermo del Toro demanded more time for his acceptance speech while picking up the Best Director prize at the 75th Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night (07.01.18).
The 53-year-old filmmaker was awarded Best Director of a Motion Picture for helming ‘The Shape of Water’ – his first Golden Globe – at the ceremony at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, but while he was in full swing the orchestra started playing, so he asked them to stop.
He said: “Lower the music. It’s taken 25 years. Give me a minute. Give me a minute.”
Del Toro’s request was a hit with the audience, who started clapping and cheering.
He continued: “I want to mention a few fantastic women sitting on this table. Sharon, Nancy, Ofelia, Sally, Kimmy and Vanessa. Without whom I wouldn’t be here.”
Before the orchestral interruption, Del Toro joked filmmakers have made a deal with a “particularly inefficient devil” in a bid to taste success in the movie industry.
He said: “For 25 years I have handcrafted very strange little tales made of motion, colour, light and shadow.
“In three precise instances, these strange stories, these fables, have saved my life.
“Once with ‘Devil’s Backbone’, once with ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’, and now with ‘Shape of Water’, because as directors, these things are not just entries in a filmography.
“We have made a deal with a particularly inefficient devil that trades three years of our lives for one entry on IMDb. And these things are biography and they are alive.”
Del Toro beat off competition from fellow Best Director nominees Martin McDonagh (‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’), Christopher Nolan (‘Dunkirk’), Ridley Scott (‘All The Money In The World’) and Steven Spielberg (‘The Post’).
Octavia Spencer, Richard Jenkins, Michael Shannon, Sally Hawkins, and Doug Jones are among the stars in ‘The Shape of Water’.

Max Evans took a terrible tumble on Dancing on Ice

OHMYGOSSIP — Max Evans took a terrible tumble on ‘Dancing on Ice’ last night (08.01.18) after he attempted to skate over carpet – but the footage wasn’t shown to the public.
The rugby hunk isn’t set to perform on the show until this weekend, but he’s already proven that he can handle an uncomfortable fall on the ice as he accidentally tripped over the white runner used for hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield as they were getting ready to present a segment from the rink after an ad break last night.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ today (08.01.18), Phillip said: “I said to all of the skaters; ‘Be careful, there’s carpet behind here for Holly and I.”
Holly added: “Quite clearly, on the mic, out loud.”
Phillip continued: “I was telling the audience. Nobody can skate over carpet – not even the pros – it just doesn’t work. Did everybody listen? Max?”
It then cut to footage of the skaters waiting for the show to come back on air as Max smashed head-first into the ice as the audience gasped from the stands above.
Phillip screeched: “What did I say?!”
Holly added: “Oh my God, are you OK?”
It then cut back to the presenting duo in the ‘This Morning’ studio and Phillip said: “See, you can’t skate over carpet,” before they watched the clip again in slow motion.
Holly said: “He landed quite well though. He landed on his hands, not his knees. It sounded worse, that clonk on cold ice is not good.”
Phillip replied: “Anyway it was great fun! I loved it.”
‘Dancing on Ice’ will return to screens this weekend as the remaining six contestants take to the ice in a bid to stay out of the dreaded dance off.

Jonny Mitchell to make move on Ashley James in Celebrity Big Brother house

OHMYGOSSIP — Celebrity Big Brother’s Jonny Mitchell is planning to make a move on Ashley James.
The former ‘Love Island’ hunk has just split from his girlfriend Stephanie Pratt but that won’t stop him from trying to get close with the blonde beauty as his friends believe he’ll attempt to struck up a romance with her in order to create some exciting viewing.
A source told The Sun Online: “Jonny knows how to play a good game, he showed that when he was on ‘Love Island’. He’ll without a doubt have a game plan for his time in the house. He’s told friends he’s set his sights on Ashley as she’s exactly his type.
“Who could blame him though? She’s gorgeous and lovely! And he’s a great looking guy – they would make a gorgeous couple.
“He’d be lucky to get with her but she’s definitely his type – a beautiful, sexy blonde. Being in the house will mean he can get close to her.”
However, although his friends think he’ll be trying to get it on with Ashley in the famous abode, the 26-year-old businessman is adamant he’ll be “very chilled out.”
He explained: “I will be chilled out. I didn’t get to relax and come out of my shell much on ‘Love Island’ because of the pressure. I hope people see the real me this time…
“If the right person is in there but I think I need a bit of time out from relationships.”
And the Jonny has admitted her experience with Stephanie has put him off dating anyone else in the public eye for now because it was so turbulent.

Anne Hegerty: I’m happily single

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hegerty is happily single.
The 59-year-old TV star – who is best known for her role as The Governess on ITV’s ‘The Chase’ – has revealed she’s comfortable living her life without a male companion, but admitted that having Asperger’s has made it harder for her to develop romantic relationships.
Asked whether she enjoys being single, Anne – whose condition impairs her non-verbal communication skills – explained: “In a sense I do, yes. I really do like my space.”
Anne likened her love life to a scene from the Woody Allen-directed romance movie ‘Annie Hall’, revealing she finds it tough to be intimate with another person.
She told the ‘Loose Women’ panel: “Have you seen ‘Annie Hall’? Remember that moment – how can I put this? Remember when they’re having sex and Annie’s ghost gets up out of the bed, goes and sits on the chair and waits till it’s all over?
“The awful thing is, I can really see myself in that. It’s dreadful. There is a limit to how far I can be in the moment, and this applies to all sorts of things.”
Anne also revealed that because of her Asperger’s, she’s often failed to recognise signs of potential romance.
Asked how the condition has impacted her life, the TV star shared: “It’s been a problem in a number of ways. One thing it took me a long time to work out was that I was failing to pick up signals from people.
“I would think, ‘I really quite like this guy but he doesn’t seem to be interested.’
“It was literally years later that I would think, ‘No, actually, that was him indicating his interest.’ I just went, ‘Duh…'”
