Millie Bobby Brown to star in Enola Holmes film series

OHMYGOSSIP — Millie Bobby Brown is to star in and produce a new Sherlock Holmes film franchise.
The ‘Stranger Things’ actress has penned a deal with Legendary Entertainment to appear in a host of movies based on Nancy Springer’s young adult fiction book series ‘The Enola Holmes Mysteries’.
According to Deadline, Brown, 13, has developed a relationship with Legendary after recently filming her role of Madison Russell in forthcoming movie ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’.
‘The Enola Holmes Mysteries’ tells the story of the titular younger sister of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes who is also a successful detective.
There are six novels in the series, ‘The Case of the Missing Marquess’, ‘The Case of the Left-Handed Lady’, ‘The Case of the Bizarre Bouquets’, ‘The Case of the Peculiar Pink Fan’, ‘The Case of the Cryptic Crinoline’ and ‘The Case of the Gypsy Goodbye’.
Brown – who is most famous for her role as ‘Eleven’ in ‘Stranger Things’ – recently admitted she is “excited” about making her big screen debut in the upcoming ‘Godzilla’ movie, which is slated for a March 2019 release.
She said: “It’s my first movie. I’m really excited and that’s really all I can say, but it’s going to be great! I just had a really incredible connection with the director [Michael Dougherty]. I had a great meeting with him and you know, I just really love him.”
Brown is deaf in one ear, but she recently admitted it doesn’t put her off doing her secondary passion, singing.
She said: “I just started to sing, and if I sound bad I don’t care, because I’m just doing what I love. You don’t have to be good at singing. You don’t have to be good at dancing or acting.
“If you like to do it, if you genuinely enjoy doing it, then do it. No one should stop you.”

Deadpool’s Tim Miller developing Kitty Pryde movie

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Deadpool’ director Tim Miller is working on ‘X-Men’ spin-off movie ‘Kitty Pryde’.
A solo film about the feisty mutant, also known as Shadowcat, is currently in development at 20th Century Fox, sources have told Collider.
Kitty Pryde was last seen played by Ellen Page in ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ and has up to now been a side-kick character in the ‘X-Men’ movies and Marvel comics.
Kitty’s powers include a phasing ability with objects and people, as well as disrupting electrical fields and levitation.
The project is still in the early stages, with director Miller also busy helming a new ‘Terminator’ film and producing the upcoming ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ movie.
But if the ‘Kitty Pryde’ film does make it to the big screen it will add pace to the growing trend for female-led superhero motion pictures which is starting to emerge, with the likes of ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ starring Sophie Turner.
The ‘Kitty Pryde’ project is not thought to be near the casting stages yet, and as a spin-off movie, with a possible origins plotline, it may be that Ellen – who has taken the role on twice, including in ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’ – does not return to play the character.
‘A History of Violence’ actress Sumela Kay played Kitty in the original ‘X-Men’ movie, and the role was taken on by Inconceivable’s Katie Stuart in ‘X2’ in 2003.

Miranda Richardson hails Kay Mellor as a ‘legend’

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Girlfriends’ actress Miranda Richardson thinks she’s working with a TV “legend” in Kay Mellor.
The British star appears alongside the likes of Zoe Wanamaker and Phyllis Logan in the new ITV series, which is written and directed by Kay, and Miranda is thankful to have been handed the opportunity.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Wednesday (10.01.18), Miranda explained: “She’s a legend in her own time, as they say. This woman packs so much in a day, she’s brimming with ideas.
“She’s always got five or six things on the go. And she is responding to her girlfriends in her own life, who are telling her things that she thinks, ‘I have to write about this, they need to know about this.'”
Miranda, 59, revealed that the new programme is a “passion project” for the award-winning director.
But in spite of the show’s name and premise, Miranda insisted that Kay has also written good roles for male performers.
The veteran star shared: “It’s her passion project, she wanted to do it for so long, and three star roles for the women. And, honestly, not bad roles for the guys – honestly. Really, really not bad at all – they were happy to play second fiddle.
“It was a quality project, all set up in Leeds. Kay set up the first block and directed.”
Meanwhile, Kay previously spoke of her excitement at making ‘Girlfriends’.
She also said she was delighted to be working with so many accomplished performers.
Kay explained: “I’m so looking forward to working with such a talented cast. It’s fantastic that we’ve got such high-calibre actors to play the three very different leading characters.”

Donna Air suffers nasty fall

OHMYGOSSIP — Donna Air has suffered a nasty fall while training for ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The 38-year-old star hasn’t had the best of luck recently as not only has had her skates stolen – meaning she’s got just four days to break in a pair of new blades – but she also face-planted into the ice yesterday (09.01.18) while rehearsing for her weekend performance with her professional partner Mark Hanretty.
According to The Sun Online, the blonde socialite was attempting to practice a tricky lift with Mark when she lost her footing and crashed face first into the floor.
Despite the clonk in which she hit the rink, Donna took it in her stride as she was photographed giggling with her hand over her mouth while attempting to stand up.
But the actress certainly has an excuse for the fall as she’s been forced to wear in a pair of new blades because the ones she’s been training in for the past three months – and have molded to her feet – were robbed from her car earlier this week.
Donna and her fellow competitors started a social media appeal #findDonnasskates
in a bid to get the boots back in time for her routine on Sunday (14.01.18) and she even enlisted the help of the police – offering a reward to anyone who returns them.
She wrote: “@metpoliceuk reward for anyone who FINDS my skates . I’m sure the thief would have dumped them somewhere as of no use to anyone but me ! moulded to my feet and impossible to replace for Sunday (sic)”
But Donna and Mark realised last night that they probably weren’t going to be reunited with the blades and were forced to buy a new pair for the competition.
Mark said “Thanks for everyone’s help trying to #findDonnasskates She has a brand spanking new pair which she will work hard to break in for Sunday! @dancingonice.”

Jennifer Metcalfe praises ex-boyfriend Sylvain Longchambon on skating return

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Metcalfe thinks her ex-boyfriend Sylvain Longchambon and her ‘Hollyoaks’ co-star Stephanie Waring “make a good team” on ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The 35-year-old actress – who is known for playing Mercedes McQueen on the Channel 4 soap – was left devastated in 2013 when her then-beau left her for his now-wife Samia Longchambon after they met and fell in love on the skating show.
But, although she admitted at the time that the split felt like “death”, Jennifer doesn’t have any hatred towards the French skater and hopes he and her friend Stephanie –
who he’s partnered with for the competition – will go far in the current series of show.
Speaking to The Sun Online, Jennifer said: “I watched ‘Dancing on Ice’ the other night and Steph is doing really well. I think she’ll go really far. She’s got a good partner. I think they will go all the way. No, she doesn’t need to do that [trip him up on the ice for leaving her friend heartbroken]. They are a good team.”
Jennifer started dating Sylvain, 37, in 2011 when they were partnered together for the skating show, but their relationship was short-lived as he dumped her on Christmas Day in 2013 before striking up a romance with the ‘Coronation Street’ star.
Despite the suspicious timing, Samia – who was partnered with Sylvain on the show in 2013 – is adamant she had nothing to do with the hunk’s split from Jennifer.
Jennifer said at the time: “It’s like a death. I felt gutted. It was the worst Christmas ever. You grieve for all the plans you had in your head. It is a grieving. When you cut someone out of your life like that it’s pretty harsh.
“Our relationship was great, a really good two years. Marriage and kids were in vision. I loved the guy unconditionally inside and out. He adored me in every way.”
Jennifer then went on to date Greg Lake – whom she’s been with for five years – and the couple have seven-month-old so Daye together, while Sylvain and Samia got married in 2016 and have two-year-old son Yves together.

Shirley Ballas ‘bullied’ in dance industry

OHMYGOSSIP — Shirley Ballas has been “judged and bullied” in the dance industry.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ head judge – who has won a string of latin dance championships over the years and is known as the Queen of Latin – admits it has been tough being in such a male dominated industry and recalled how she was told she was “not fit material” to judge a competition in Bulgaria before she bagged herself the role on ‘Strictly’.
She said: “[I’ve been] judged and bullied. I feel like coming from a housing estate way back when, the other children used to judge my brothers and I when we got free meals at school … I moved into ballroom dancing, which is a male dominated industry and for most of my career, from a very young age of about 17, [I was] being bullied in the industry from certain people at the top.
“The reason I originally went for this job at ‘Strictly’ was because I got offered to do a job in Bulgaria, as an adjudicator, and was all set to go and I was excited to go and then the gentleman let me know I was not fit material to judge the competition. In the end, I didn’t get that job. It was my son who said if those certain people don’t want you to be in the industry, perhaps you should go to ‘Strictly.'”
And Shirley, 57, thinks men in the industry are threatened by how “strong” she is.
Speaking whilst making an appearance as a panellist on ITV’s Loose Women on Wednesday (10.01.18), she added: “I’m a strong woman, not a sheep, a follower. I’m my own person; I like to be kind, caring and I feel like I give a tremendous amount of myself and somehow that seems like a threat to [others] so people try and bully you.”

Donna Air buys new skates

OHMYGOSSIP — Donna Air has bought some new ice skates.
The 38-year-old star was forced to buy some new blades last night (09.01.18) after the ones she’s been breaking in for the past three months for ‘Dancing on Ice’ were stolen from the boot of her car on Monday (08.01.18) – five days before she makes her debut.
Donna’s professional partner Mark Hanretty took to his Twitter account last night and wrote: “Thanks for everyone’s help trying to #findDonnasskates She has a brand spanking new pair which she will work hard to break in for Sunday! @dancingonice (sic)”
Donna enlisted the help of the police at the beginning of the week when she found out that someone had broken into her vehicle and taken her skate bag while she was at the gym.
She tweeted: “@metpoliceuk reward for anyone who FINDS my skates . I’m sure the thief would have dumped them somewhere as of no use to anyone but me ! moulded to my feet and impossible to replace for Sunday (sic)”
Scottish ice skater Mark, 32, has also posted a video pleading for the return of Donna’s skates and has started the hashtag #findDonnasskates on Twitter to try and find them.
In the video, he says: “Late last night Donna rang me really upset to tell me her car had been broken into while she was at the gym and her skates and skate bag have been taken. We have show day in five days and my partner has no skates, so bit of a disaster. I’m hoping and praying that the power of social media can recover Donna’s boots in time for us to train and compete in Sunday’s show, please, please, please.”
He has also tweeted: “Just seen the CCTV footage of Donna’s car being broken in to. Nasty work! Poor Donna upset & worries but we are off to do some skate shopping now! @dancingonice #findDonnasskates #dancingonice (sic)”
Donna will take to the ice for the first time this Sunday (14.01.18).

Jeremy McConnell joins football team

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy McConnell has joined a football team – but he can’t finish his training session because of his police curfew.
The 27-year-old hunk was fitted with an electronic tag – meaning he has to return to his home before a certain time otherwise he’ll be arrested – after he was released from prison shortly after Christmas and, although he’s trying to get his life back on track and recently signed up to a football club in a bid to get fit, the gadget around his ankle means he has to leave the training sessions mid-way through.
A source told the MailOnline: “He’s a great lad and joined the team to get fit and try to turn his life around after prison. The only problem is he can’t finish training sessions yet as he needs to get home before his curfew starts. The lads give him a bit of stick about it but he takes it in good spirits.”
Since his release, the former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star has got his prison number tattooed on his leg to “serve as a reminder” of his shocking behaviour, which saw him assault his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis while she was holding their 11-month-old son Caben, to make sure he doesn’t return to the life he was living before he was jailed.
A source said recently: “Jeremy wanted to get a tattoo of his prison number on his leg to serve as a reminder.
“He is making a clean start and won’t go back to the life he had before. This tattoo is a permanent reminder of that and it means a lot to him.”
Jeremy was slapped with 200 hours of community service in August – narrowly missing out on prison – after he was found guilty of assaulting Stephanie.
But he hit the headlines just days after he started the unpaid work in Glasgow, Scotland, as he allegedly refused to scrub off some graffiti as he believed the spray-painted wall was created by famous artist Banksy.
He then jetted off to Turkey without permission – breaching the terms and conditions of his suspended sentence – to get a hair transplant and new teeth.
He appeared at Cardiff Magistrates Court at the end of November regarding the breach and was slapped with an 18-week prison sentence.
As well as his community service, Jeremy was also ordered to pay £1,000 in court costs, £1,000 in compensation to Stephanie and a victims surcharge of £115.
He’s also been told to stay away from Stephanie, 24, for three years and any communication regarding Caben has to be done via social services.

Mike Tyson wants to join Downton Abbey movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Tyson wants to play an aristocrat in the ‘Downton Abbey’ movie.
The 51-year-old boxing legend – who lives in Las Vegas – was a huge fan of the period drama when it ran on screen of five years from 2010 until 2015 and has admitted he’d love nothing more than to bag a posh role in the forthcoming big screen adaptation.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: “If the producers of the new movie were to call me up, the answer would be a ‘Yes’. I’d love to appear in ‘Downton Abbey’.
“I’m a fan and I watch the show over here in the States. It’s just done so well.
“Maybe I could play an American musician, or I could be very aristocratic. An aristocrat would be a good role to play. That would be great fun. God willing.”
Fans have been wishing for the popular drama to be made into a blockbuster since the series ended three years ago, and now it looks like things are finally falling into place as NBCUniversal want to start shooting the film sometime this year.
Michael Edelstein, president at NBCUniversal International Studios, said last year: “There’s a movie in the works. It’s been in the works for some time.
“We are working on getting the script right and then we’ve got to figure out how to get the [cast] together because as you know, people go on and do other things. But we’re hopeful to make a movie sometime next year.”
Fans started to get excited a few months ago when the show’s creator Julian Fellowes revealed he’d written the script and was waiting for the go-ahead from the studio.
The 68-year-old writer said: “I’ve done some work on the script because I don’t want to find there’s a green light and no script ready. But we’re still waiting for that green light from the studio. Then the biggest difficulty will be rounding up all the cast as, compared with most series, it has such a large cast. And it needs them to feel Downtonesque.”

Doctor Who Christmas special sparks row

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas special has sparked a row with the family of actor Nicholas Courtney.
The episode – which marked the end of Peter Capaldi’s run as the Time Lord – saw comedian Mark Gatiss appear in the role of Captain Archibald Lethbridge-Stewart, who is a relative of the late actor’s recurring character Brigadier Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart.
But the creation of the captain has angered the estate of one of Lethbridge-Stewart’s original creators, Mervyn Haisman, and it is currently weighing up whether to take legal action.
Andy Frankham-Allen, creative director of the Haisman Estate, explained to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Characters are considered creative works and are protected by copyright law.
“As such, we reserve the right to determine what is officially part of our intellectual property.
“If derivative works are created without our permission, then we will determine if/how they fit into our IP. We reserve the right to accept or reject any additions to our intellectual properties.”
The character of Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart made his debut in 1968 and featured in more than 22 storylines on the show.
However, the BBC has denied the suggestion of any wrongdoing.
The broadcaster said: “This claim is without foundation. There has been no breach of copyright.”
The row comes shortly after Peter Capaldi revealed that he asked for his final scenes as Doctor Who to be amended at the last minute.
The 59-year-old actor asked the departing show runner Steven Moffat if his final moments could be tweaked because he didn’t feel “comfortable” with it.
Peter – who has been replaced as the Doctor by Jodie Whittaker – said: “We’re all very concerned about how the Twelfth Doctor leaves us. We’re hypersensitive about trying to make it the best we possibly can.
“I had sort of expressed a little discomfort about one of the scenes leading towards the end – and he rewrote it. He rewrote it completely, and quite brilliantly, overnight. Which is fantastic. The downside is I had to learn it overnight!”

Amber Davies wants to join a soap

OHMYGOSSIP — Amber Davies wants to join a soap.
The ‘Love Island’ winner has been flooded with work offers since she left the famous villa last summer but she has admitted it’s her ultimate dream to land a role in a TV show like ‘EastEnders’ or ‘Coronation Street’ because she’s trained in musical theatre.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’ on Wednesday (10.01.18), she said: “I definitely would love to go into a soap. I’ve trained for three years in musical theatre and that is one of my biggest dreams. I would love to use my talent and passion to do what I want and to have a long, nice, future in what I love to do …There’s a lot more to me than just being on ‘Love Island’ and, of course, I will also be grateful because it gave me that platform and I’ve experienced some incredible things since coming out and that will never ever go but I’m trying to work as hard as I possibly can.”
And, although she’s pleased that the dating show – which she won alongside her now-ex-boyfriend Kem Cetinay – has catapulted her career, she never expected the success she’s had so far and she’s had to grow up very quickly in the limelight.
She explained: “When I signed up to ‘Love Island’, I didn’t think it would be as crazy as this. I’ve had to grow up a lot because you’re watched 24/7 but it’s good because now I’m not a crazy fool… sometimes.”
The 21-year-old beauty has made no secret of the fact she’d like to go into acting professionally as she recently said she’d like to bag the main role in the army drama ‘Our Girl’ after watching Michelle Keegan take over from Lacey Turner in 2016.
She said: “I’m a trained actress and hopefully I can get back into it because it’s what I love. I’d love a part like Michelle Keegan’s in ‘Our Girl’. I know it wouldn’t be straight to that but you’ve just got to keep working hard.”

Love Island to cast gay and lesbian contestants

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ bosses are keen to cast gay and lesbian contestants this summer.
The dating show, which has proved a huge success with viewers over the past two years, received some backlash last year after they failed to include members of the LGBT community, but producers would like to set that straight for the next series by including both heterosexual and homosexual couples in the summer line up.
Speaking to the Daily Star Online, an insider said: “‘Love Island’ was undoubtedly the biggest reality show this year, it had everyone talking. Even people who weren’t watching the show still heard about it.
“The main thing they came under fire for was sex on TV, which people have now started to accept, so come next series people won’t really care about that.
“ITV want to increase the shock factor of the show and keep people talking, by having LGBT people included.”
Sophie Gradon and Katie Salmon – who are both bisexual – previously featured on the show but they weren’t allowed to get together with members of the same sex.
However, the rules didn’t stop them as they were seen hooking up on air regardless.
The last series had viewers hooked for the whole series and popular contestants like Kem Cetinay – who won the show with his now-ex-girlfriend Amber Davies – Chris Hughes, Jonny Mitchell and Marcel Somerville have gone on to have huge success.
Kem is currently taking part in ‘Dancing on Ice’, Chris attempted to carve out a rap career, Jonny is inside the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house at the moment and Marcel is writing a new album with his former Blazin’ Squad band mates.
But, although their professional careers have taken off, their love lives haven’t proved as successful as all of them – except Marcel – are now single.

Amber Davies doesn’t mind if Kem Cetinay is dating Scarlett Moffatt

OHMYGOSSIP — Amber Davies doesn’t mind if her ex-boyfriend Kem Cetinay is dating Scarlett Moffatt.
The ‘Dancing on Ice’ hunk is rumoured to be romancing the former ‘Gogglebox’ star after she was spotted supporting him during the first live show last weekend alongside his best friend and family but, although they’ve only been separated a matter of weeks, the brunette beauty just wants her former beau to be “happy.”
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’ on Wednesday (10.01.18), Amber said: “There are so many rumours and you don’t know what to believe but I just think as long as he’s happy then I’m happy. I just think he deserves to be happy because he’s such a lovely person.”
However, the 21-year-old professional dancer won’t “rule out” a reunion between her and Kem, 21, in the future but thinks they just need to focus on their careers for now.
She explained: “I’m not ruling anything out for the future. I think both of us need to concentrate on our careers and, I think, I definitely need to grow up before I commit myself into anything too serious but I will always have a special place in my heart for him because we did so much together.
“I think it was intense and I think it was a mutual decision and it did fizzle out because we were both so busy. We didn’t see each other but we’re still really good friends.”
Amber was rumoured to be dating Pete Wicks after they posed for a photograph together recently, but she’s adamant she’s very much single and she won’t be getting together with anyone at the moment because she doesn’t have time for love.
She added: “I’m definitely not dating anyone from ‘TOWIE’. I don’t have time.”
However, although she’s seemingly cool about Kem dating other people, Amber was clearly upset when she saw Scarlett, 27, sitting in the audience at the skating show.
A fan – who goes by the handle Olivia Mulhearn – took to her Twitter account to give her opinion, writing: “Definitely something going on between Kem and Scarlett Moffatt #DancingOnIce (sic).”
Amber, 21, then retweeted Olivia’s tweet and wrote: “You said it,” followed by a cheeky tongue emoji.

David Oyelowo for BBC’s Les Miserables

OHMYGOSSIP — David Oyelowo, Lily Collins and Dominic West are to star in a new BBC adaptation of ‘Les Miserables’ for the small screen.
The period drama – based on Victor Hugo’s 19th century novel about the struggles of ex-convict Jean Valjean – has been adapted into a six-part TV series by acclaimed scriptwriter Andrew Davies.
‘The Wire’ star Dominic will play Jean Valjean, while ‘Star Wars: Rebels’ actor David will take on the role of Javert, the police inspector in pursuit of his recapture.
‘The Mortal Instruments’ actress Lily will play tragic heroine Fantine.
David said: “To play an iconic role like Javert is any actor’s dream, but to play it as written by Andrew Davies goes beyond my wildest dreams.”
Dominic added: “Jean Valjean is one of the great characters in world literature. His epic journey of redemption is one of the extraordinary roles an actor can take on, and I can’t wait to get stuck in to bringing Andrew’s brilliant adaptation to the screen.”
Lily, 28, promises to bring a new dimension to her character.
She said: “I’m so thrilled to be playing Fantine. She is a legendary character whose tragic story feels as relevant to tell today as when ‘Les Miserables’ was first published.
“Andrew’s wonderful dramatisation opens up the character in fresh ways that I’ve never seen before in previous adaptations. And with this amazing cast coming together it really feels like it could be something very special indeed.”
The miniseries will also star Olivia Colman as Madame Thenardier with her ‘The Night Manager’ co-star Adeel Akhtar playing her onscreen husband Monsieur Thenardier.
Ellie Bamber will play Fantine’s daughter Cosette, Josh O’Connor is cast as young law student Marius and Erin Kellyman will appear as the Thenardier’s eldest daughter Éponine.
Andrew Davies famously adapted ‘Pride and Prejudice’ starring Colin Firth as Mr Darcy for the BBC in 1995 and has gone on to adapt period dramas including ‘War and Peace’ as well as writing for US political drama ‘House Of Cards’.
He said: “This is such an intense and gut-wrenching story and I am delighted that this esteemed ensemble of actors will be bringing it to life – led by Dominic West and David Oyelowo in the iconic roles of Jean Valjean and his nemesis Javert. In Valjean, we see the terrifying anger and resentment against society but also the tenderness that is hidden deep in his complex psyche. And in Javert, the ferocious dedication to duty that takes him from obsession to madness.”
The series will be globally distributed outside the US by BBC Worldwide.
Filming is due to begin in February in Belgium and Northern France.

India Willoughby and Jonny Miller up for CBB eviction

OHMYGOSSIP — India Willoughby and Jonny Miller are up for this year’s first ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ eviction.
The pair were put up for the public vote on last night’s (09.01.18) show when the eight female celebrities in the house had to make live face-to-face nominations as host Emma Willis entered the famous abode.
Newsreader India received five nominations, each of which were greeted with cheers from the audience outside the house, while ‘Love Island’ hunk Jonny was put up four times by fellow housemates.
Former politician Ann Widdecombe chose India due to the “disruption” she has caused in the house.
Speaking of her reason for picking the journalist, she said: “Because of all the ruckus she has caused. No other housemate has caused as much disruption.”
Amanda Barrie also nominated her, saying: “I want to get to know everyone else more.”
Ashley James and Jess Impiazzi admitted they were putting India up for eviction because she failed to let Ann have her bed earlier in the series, which saw the newsreader ask Big Brother whether she should give up the sleeping space.
Jess said: “The incident with the bed shouldn’t have gone to Big Brother, I felt the majority vote should’ve been enough.”
Rachel Johnson nominated both India and Jonny – who was also put up by Amanda, Ashley and Maggie Oliver – for the boot, insisting the hunk was “just too much of a temptation” for her.
She said: “My second nomination is gorgeous Jonny because I find him so attractive that I don’t trust myself around him.”
But Emma insisted Big Brother had informed her that wasn’t a valid reason for nomination because it was a “compliment”.
Rachel continued: “No, it’s a reason. I’m a married woman and he’s a single guy and I regard that as a completely valid reason. He’s just too much of a temptation.”
Ann also told Malika Haqq she hadn’t provided a valid reason for nomination after the reality star put her up, saying: “We’re all torturing her.”
Big Brother agreed with the former Conservative MP, and Malika insisted she felt as though the housemates had to keep saying sorry to Ann for “swearing and our behaviour, so I feel like we’re torturing her”.
Amanda, Jess, Malika and Courtney Act were all safe from being nominated after winning immunity tasks.
Emma confirmed either India or Jonny will depart the show in Friday’s (12.01.18) eviction.

Ferne McCann didn’t realise she was so ‘strong’

OHMYGOSSIP — Ferne MCCann didn’t realise she was so “strong” until she had a baby and her former boyfriend was jailed.
The former ‘Only Way is Essex’ star had a rocky 2017 when she fell pregnant, only to split from Arthur Collins after he carried out a horrific acid attack in a nightclub – for which he’s been jailed for 20 years – and admitted her tough experiences have made her a much calmer person.
Ferne, who gave birth to daughter Sunday in November, said: “I hadn’t realised how strong I could be.
“I have a much more positive outlook on life now. I used to get stressed about the smallest things but now I’ve seen how much I can cope with, the smaller stuff just doesn’t worry me anymore. I’m a lot calmer.”
And the 27-year-old star has realised how much exercise can help with her stress levels.
She said: “Exercise is a huge stress reliever for me. I worked with a personal trainer during my pregnancy and am starting a two-month plan of simple exercises to do at home. But my trainer really instilled into me that being healthy isn’t just about going to the gym or having an exercise regime. I pay more attention to my mind, body and soul trying to reduce the stress in my life and focus on my goals.
“I love meditation and I’m into crystal healing too.”
The ‘This Morning’ presenter isn’t ready to date again but she’ll know when she meets someone and that they’re the right person for her.
She told Closer magazine: “You can’t have a checklist, I just go with whoever I fancy – it’s the chemistry you can’t beat. But, right now, I can’t even think about dating. I just want to get in the swing of 2018 with my beautiful daughter. I’m definitely not thinking of another baby – Sunday is all I need.”
