Kate Garraway admits late husband Derek Draper struggled to show love during Covid battle

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Garraway has revealed Derek Draper struggled to show her love during his lengthy COVID-19 battle.
The ‘Good Morning Britain’ presenter’s late husband – who died in January aged 56 following an intense bout with the virus – will be seen speaking about his condition for the first time in a new ITV documentary, while the broadcaster also reflects on their marriage as he was fighting for his life.
Speaking in ‘Kate Garraway: Derek’s Story’, she said: “I have accepted [my future as a carer], but how that translates into the relationship is a work in progress.
“Sometimes you show love with a big bunch of flowers, sometimes it’s bringing a cup of tea at the right moment, and he can’t do any of those things for me.
“So he’s trying to work out how to love me – I know he loves me, but how does he show that? And I’m trying to work out if I feel loved by him. I know I am loved, so we have got a whole journey to go on there.”
Kate also revealed that she was spending roughly £4,000 a week for Derek’s “basic” care, which has caused her to rack up nearly £800,000 in medical debt.
She said: “Time and time again the system tell us that Derek isn’t sick enough, doesn’t have enough of a health need to qualify for funded care.
“I’ve appealed but that still hasn’t been processed two-and-a-half, three years later.
“If this is what it’s like for me, what on Earth is it like for everybody else? Something has to be done, or the whole service, the people working in it, everything is going to break.
“Derek’s care, the basic needs, not including any therapy, which I am happy to pay on top, is nearly £4,000 a week. How can I afford that? How can anybody afford £16,000 a month?
“Please God, there could be another 40 years of this.”
The broadcaster admitted seeing her husband speaking about his illness in the documentary has “been pretty emotional”.
She told ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’: “[It] makes you want to jump in the screen and give him a hug. You can’t quite believe that he’s not with us to watch his story. But, hopefully, it will be very useful for others who that are going through the same thing. That’s the dream and the wish.”

Kat Graham cast as Diana Ross in Michael Jackson biopic

OHMYGOSSIP — Kat Graham will play Diana Ross in the Michael Jackson biopic.
The 34-year-old actress and singer is the latest star attached to appear in Antoine Fuqua’s film about the King of Pop as the cast of ‘Michael’ continues to take shape.
Kat will play the role of the iconic Supremes frontwoman, who was asked to introduce the Jackson 5 to the world and remained a constant influence on the ‘Beat It’ hitmaker.
Larenz Tate has been cast at the Motown Records founder Berry Gordy, who helped redefine music by giving acts including the Jackson 5, Diana Ross and The Supremes and Stevie Wonder the platform to succeed.
Other new cast members include Jessica Sula as Michael’s older sister La Toya Jackson, Liv Symone as soul legend Gladys Knight, Kevin Shinick as Dick Clark and KeiLyn Durrel Jones as Jackson’s security-turned-friend Bill Bray.
Meanwhile, Kendrick Sampson is to portray music industry titan Quincy Jones – who first met Michael when the late singer was just 12 years old and went on to collaborate with him on the hit albums ‘Off The Wall’, ‘Thriller’ and ‘Bad’.
The King of Pop’s nephew Jaafar Jackson is playing him in the movie, set for release in 2025, and Fuqua has previously emphasised that the film will feature “the good, bad and the ugly” of Michael’s career – which saw him rise from child stardom to become the biggest pop star on the planet before he faced allegations of child sexual abuse and tragically died aged 50 in 2009.
Quizzed on his approach to the flick, the ‘Training Day’ director told Entertainment Weekly: “Just to tell the facts as we know it, about the artist, about the man, about the human being. You know, the good, bad, and the ugly.”
Michael’s eldest son Prince Jackson is also working closely with the cast and crew on set on behalf of his siblings.

Lily James starring in movie inspired by Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily James is to star in a new movie inspired by Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd.
The 34-year-old actress is to play the lead role and produce the untitled new flick that is currently in pre-production ahead of filming starting later this year.
Wolfe Herd left Tinder in 2014 due to tensions with other executives at the dating app and went on to establish the competitor Bumble in the same year.
The company went public in 2021 and made Wolfe Herd one of the youngest self-made billionaires aged 31.
She stepped down as CEO last year but left behind a massively successful app with numerous divisions that continue to thrive.
Plot details are somewhat vague as the picture is only inspired by Whitney’s life and it is not known how much it will compare to her actual story.
Casting of other roles has started and the film is expected to be released in 2025.
Rachel Lee Goldenberg is directing the movie from a script she has written with Bill Parker and Kim Caramele.
Lily is to produce alongside Jennifer Gibgot and Andrew Panay and the movie will mark one of her first major projects as a producer as she looks to expand her involvement behind the camera.
The ‘Cinderella’ star previously expressed fears that she would be typecast in romantic roles and explained that she wanted to show all her different facets as a performer.
She said: “It sometimes stresses me out that I’m being offered a lot of roles that fit that description because I have much more to offer than being confined to that ‘romantic girl’ box – I have many sides to my personality.
“I can get angry quite easily if things bother me… I want to be able to express my many different sides in all sorts of characters.”

Linda Nolan gives major cancer update

OHMYGOSSIP — Linda Nolan has revealed the tumours in her brain have “shrunk a little”.
The 65-year-old singer was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 before getting the all-clear a year later, but in 2017, the disease had spread to her brain, bones and liver, and Linda has been battling ever since.
But during a recent appearance on ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’, she said: “My scan showed that there’s no progression in the disease in my bones and liver, and the tumours in my brain have shrunk a little. That was a day before my birthday.
“We had a party – either way we were going to have a party. But it was good news, so we really had a party.”
Linda was also asked about Catherine, Princess of Wales’ recent announcement that she was being treated for cancer, and insisted people who had mocked her health previously needed to apologise to her.
She said: “Of course they should say sorry. But, you know, sorry is an easy word to say sometimes and they may be doing it because other people are doing it.
“They should never have even thought it in the first place, to put down lies and horrible words. Sorry doesn’t cut it sometimes.”
The ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ alum – who lost her sister Bernie Nolan to breast cancer in 2013 – then reflected on the Duchess’ decision to disclose her condition.
She said: “I think she did right. I think we all wondered what type of cancer it was. I think she did well, in the fact that she came out and told us when she didn’t have to.
“Who says they have to tell us their life story? They are doing their jobs.
“If she wants to keep it secret and her treatment secret, then that’s how she’s going to handle it and good luck to her.”

Romesh Ranganathan is ‘very angry’ at himself over Avoidance series two scripts

OHMYGOSSIP — Romesh Ranganathan was “very angry” with himself over the scripts for ‘Avoidance’.
The 45-year-old actor is reprising his role as Jonathan in the second series of the BBC comedy – which he created and wrote as well as starring and serving as executive producer – but he’s annoyed at his decision to make his character get “really into cycling”.
He said: “I thought it would be funny to have him in lycra for large parts of the series, but when you’re writing it you forget that you’ve actually got to put that stuff on.
“Actor Romesh found himself very angry with writer Romesh in terms of what he’d made him do…
“I would love, if we do another series of this, for Jonathan to have moved beyond the lycra stage but because I look so ridiculous in it I imagine it might make a comeback.”
Romesh admitted he and Jonathan are both “conflict avoidant and a bit of a beta-male”, and they definitely have a lot in common.
He explained: “The similarities between myself and my character are that he is somebody who is a bit of a people pleaser, he’s worried about upsetting anybody and so inadvertently upsets everybody by not being decisive enough.
“I definitely do share that, there are lots of occasions where I haven’t cancelled something and I need to be somewhere else – so two places in one night.
“My wife refers to them as ‘Romesh situations’ and I feel like Romesh situations and Jonathan situations have a lot in common.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Weakest Link’ host opened up on filming the second series, explaining that there was “a lot of improv” this time round when it came to the actors having more freedom on set.
He said: “The truth is there were lots and lots of moments where we were just corpsing at stuff, we did a lot of improv of lines in this series and it made for a lot of corpsing and ruining of takes, but it was a hell of a lot of fun.”

Louis Walsh claims Simon Cowell hasn’t spoken to him since leaving Celebrity Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Louis Walsh has revealed Simon Cowell hasn’t reached out to him since he left ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The 71-year-old music mogul lashed out at his former ‘X Factor’ co-judge on the ITV reality show after claiming he had sabotaged his chances of winning the 2008 series of the talent programme, and now he has insisted they haven’t spoken since the show came to an end over the weekend.
During an appearance on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, presenter Ben Shepard asked: “Has Simon been in touch?”
Louis bluntly replied: “No.”
In the reality programme, the music mogul bashed the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ producer and alleged he had cheated him out of a victory on ‘The X Factor’ by getting Beyonce to perform with judge Cheryl Cole’s act Alexandra Burke.
He said: “We [the judges] took it so … serious, and we all wanted to win.
“We were pretending it was about the show, we all wanted to win. And we were all trying to upstage each other with songs and performance.
“I really have to breathe for this, because we took it so seriously. We were in the final and it was [Cheryl’s act] Alexandra Burke and [Louis’ act] JLS so I thought I’m gonna get Westlife, we’ll do ‘Flying without wings’ and divvy it up between them, dah de dah de dah.
“Simon loved Cheryl, what did he do? He got her Beyonce, it was all over … Cheryl was, she was kinda smug with me, I wanted to beat her as well.”
Louis had previously fallen out with Cheryl too when he was managing her band Girls Aloud, but has since put the feud to bed.
He explained: “She’s not perfect but she’s nice. She’s a good girl, she’s good.
“She’s had a lot of negativity but I like her. She doesn’t know that, I like her more than she likes me.”

Taskmaster bosses apologise after major mishap with tickets for special show

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Taskmaster’ bosses have apologised after some fans with tickets couldn’t get into the show’s live event in New York.
The wild Channel 4 game show – which sees five constants trying to impress Greg Davies and his assistant, and show creator, Little Alex Horne – went to the United States this week bringing the programme back to its roots with a special live comedy show, but there was a major mishap with tickets.
In a statement on X, formerly Twitter, the team said: “Thank you to everyone who turned up at Rodney’s Comedy Club to see us in New York tonight. We were surprised and overjoyed at the amount of you who turned up.
“Due to a ticketing error with the venue, more tickets were sold than the venue had capacity for. We tried to fit in as many as possible, and we’re hugely sorry to anyone who had a ticket and couldn’t get in.
“We’re processing refunds to those who couldn’t get in as soon as we can, as well as giving them priority tickets to the next event we do here.
“We’ll make it our task to come back to NY very soon!”
For fans in the UK, the upcoming 17th series will return on March 28 with Steve Pemberton, Nick Mohammed, John Robins, Joanne McNally and Sophie Willan.
The broadcaster previously teased: “Who will emerge victorious, raise the weighty trophy above their head, and call themselves a Taskmaster champion?”
Earlier this year, the show hosted its third Champion of Champions special which saw the winners of series 11 through 14 head back to the house for another go.
Sarah Kendall, Morgana Robinson, Sophie Duker and Dara Ó Briain were back, while series 15 winner Mae Martin was unavailable and was instead replaced by runner-up Kiell Smith-Bynoe.
Dara won the series with Sophie finishing in second place.
The most recent regular series aired in autumn, and saw Sam Campbell crowned the winner with Sue Perkins, Susan Wokoma, Julian Clary and Lucy Beaumont making up the rest of the cast.

‘I’m a bit nervous’: Liam Neeson reveals The Naked Gun reboot fears

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Neeson is a “bit nervous” about starring in ‘The Naked Gun’ reboot.
The 71-year-old star will feature in the upcoming movie as Frank Drebin Jr. – the son of Leslie Nielsen’s protagonist Detective Frank Drebin from the original films – and is wary of the expectation that comes with reviving the spoof comedy franchise.
Liam told MovieWeb.com: “I’ve done a couple of, like, TV skits with Stephen Colbert and Ricky Gervais, but those were two minutes, three minutes tops.
“But I’m a bit nervous about ‘Naked Gun’, because it’s a feature film… If he tests it well, which I’m sure he will, Akiva Schaffer is our writer-director.
“And there’s lots of funny gags, lots of funny visual gags happening at the same time while ‘serious things’ are being discussed, you know?”
Liam has underlined that the new film is not a “remake” and explained that more “laugh-out-loud moments” are required in the picture as work continues on the screenplay.
The ‘Taken’ star said: “It’s not a remake. It’s a reboot. It’s a totally different thing. I think we start in May and shoot for a couple of months or so. It’s a good script but it’s still developing.
“You know, there’s about three laugh-out-loud moments, but we need seven or eight.”
Neeson explained that he will be putting his own spin on the franchise as he follows in the footsteps of the late comedy legend Nielsen.
He said: “I’ll do my own thing. I remember Leslie very well. I love those films. Especially that first, ‘Airplane!’ You know, ‘Don’t call me Shirley’. Just that line alone, I think, changed Leslie’s career up until he passed away.”

‘I assume it’ll swing back’: Judd Apatow expects comedy cinema revival

OHMYGOSSIP — Judd Apatow thinks that the comedy genre can be revived in cinemas.
The 56-year-old director released his recent films ‘The King of Staten Island’ and ‘The Bubble’ on streaming platforms but thinks that the success of just a single blockbuster will get audiences flocking back to theatres.
Speaking to Vulture, Judd said: “I assume it’ll swing back.
“The industry does follow the leader… for comedy, it just requires another hit or two. If a movie like ‘The Hangover’ came out and it was a big hit, suddenly everyone would want five more of those.”
The ‘Knocked Up’ filmmaker continued: “Here’s the thing that most people don’t understand because they’re not in any of those executive suites: There’s a hit and then they just go, ‘Oh, people like that. Make more like that.’ The thinking is not deeper than that.
“They will just chase anything that does well because people generally are averse to risk-taking.”
Judd explained that the comedy renaissance on the big screen might already have started with the phenomenal success of ‘Barbie’ last year.
He said: “The highest-grossing comedy last year made over a billion dollars. ‘Barbie’ was a comedy, you know?
“It’s not a drama. There are some emotional moments in it, but it’s just wall-to-wall jokes. There’s something about it where I feel like no one wants to give comedy the win there.
“Like, why can’t we say ‘Barbie’ is a comedy? What other category would it be?”
Apatow thinks that “original” ideas are essential for the genre and pointed to the success of ‘Oppenheimer’ to demonstrate how a cinematic risk can pay off.
He explained: “Like, who would think that anyone cared about ‘Oppenheimer’ like that? ‘Oppenheimer’ is going to make almost $1 billion. Like, is anyone talking about the inventor of the atom bomb in their lives.
“We don’t, but the people have to take big risks, and then you realise, ‘No, people want to be challenged. They want smart movies. They want original cinematic experiences.'”

‘Queen of CBeebies’ Kay Benbow dies aged 63

OHMYGOSSIP — Former Controller of CBeebies Kay Benbow has died aged 63.
The broadcasting executive joined CBeebies in 2002 and became the second Controller of CBeebies in May 2010, leaving the role in 2017.
During her time in charge, CBeebies won the BAFTA Children’s Award for Channel of the Year four times, in 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2016.
Benbow’s death was confirmed in a statement from the BBC which paid tribute to her incredible contribution to children’s programming.
The statement read: “Everyone in the BBC Children’s and Education department is incredibly sad to hear the news that Kay Benbow has passed away. Our most sincere condolences go to Kay’s husband Ian, their sons and to the wider family.
“As the controller of CBeebies, Kay was known across the whole kids’ media sector for her passion and commitment to providing young children with the very best content.
“She was pivotal in taking CBeebies programmes into new and original areas, never afraid to stretch preschool minds into unthought-of territory – such as ballet, Shakespeare, mathematics, science and the joys of the annual live Christmas show.
“Kay will be deeply missed by a huge number of current and previous BBC colleagues, a testimony to the many lives she touched in addition to her service to the audience.
“She was an extraordinary person and did so much for CBeebies and young children across the UK.”
Kay was married to Ian Stubbs and the couple had two sons, born in 1994 and 1998.
Since her passing was announced, several of Benbow’s former colleagues have paid tribute to her on social media.
Executive producer Michael Carrington – who preceded Benbow as CBeebies boss – wrote on LinkedIn: “Her passion for children’s programming was evident in every project she undertook, leaving an indelible mark on the industry and audiences.
“Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kay’s kindness and unwavering support left a lasting impression on me.
“Her leadership and guidance were invaluable, and her presence will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.”
Stuart Rowson – who previously worked for BBC Children’s TV and is the founder of Lucky Socks Media – also paid tribute to Benbow on LinkedIn.
He wrote: “Kay was a legendary leader of CBeebies and affectionately known as the Queen of Beebies by some of those still within BBC Children’s, several years after her departure.”

The Traitors book castle for six more years

OHMYGOSSIP — TV bosses behind ‘The Traitors’ have reportedly booked the Scottish castle where the show is filmed for another six years.
The reality TV contest has been filmed at Ardross Castle – 30 miles north of Inverness – since it launched back in 2022 and now a new report suggests BBC bosses are planning to keep the show on air until at least 2030 by securing a deal to book the castle for at least 12 more series.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “The ultimate nightmare would be if the producers tried to return to Ardross Castle after the Beeb commissioned more series only to find it was unavailable.
“That’s a very real prospect as the Highlands pile is in huge demand for weddings, which have swelled in numbers since ‘The Traitors’ became so popular.
“Without taking this bold measure, it was at risk of becoming a victim of its own success.”
The insider went on to add the castle needs to be booked out for certain times of the year – either in spring or autumn – because the show can’t be filmed during the summer.
They explained: “The show, which is often filmed in the depths of the night, can only be made at certain times of year due to long summer days in the north of Scotland.”
A third series of ‘The Traitors’ is likely to start filming at Ardross Castle in the next six weeks and a celebrity spin-off is believed to be planned for the autumn.
The show is hosted by Claudia Winkleman, 52, and she recently admitted she almost turned down the job because of her “innate laziness”.
When asked about the role during an appearance on the ‘Dish with Waitrose’ podcast, Claudia explained: “[I almost turned it down] because of my innate laziness … I was like, ‘I’m really sorry I can’t go to Scotland for three and a half weeks, but thank you so much for thinking of me. And why don’t you ask the following people? Thank you, bye’.
“And they said, ‘Just before you say definite no, can we just send you the tapes of the Dutch version?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, okay, I really won’t get round to [watching it’ … and then four days later, ‘Have you watched it yet?’ I was like, ‘No … I am napping’.”
However, when she finally got around to watching the show, she breezed through the whole series in one day. She added: “I watched all twelve In one sitting, which … was major because I have to be … I’m asleep at nine. “So, and I was like, cannot come to bed. And then, yeah, and I texted my boss at the BBC … and I said, ‘I’ll book my own train. Yeah, I’m coming. I’m going to Inverness’.”

John Tucker Must Die 2 finally on its way after almost two decades

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘John Tucker Must Die’ is officially getting a sequel almost 20 years later.
The cult classic teen comedy, which was released in 2006 and starred Jesse Metcalfe as the titular heartbreaker, is poised for a revival after the leading man admitted he had heard “there is a script”.
Speaking with his fellow cast members during a panel at Epic Cons Chicago, he said: “I’ve been hearing rumblings about this script circulating Hollywood – apparently it’s amazing.”
Although Metcalfe insisted he hadn’t been asked to reprise his role or even seen the script, he added: “I’d definitely love to be a part of it, and I can’t wait to read it.”
His co-star Arielle Kebbel went one further and confirmed she is heavily involved in the highly anticipated sequel.
She said: “The rumour is true . I started producing a few years ago. There is a script. We are very proud of it.
“It does involve all of the OG cast… That’s pretty much all I can say for now.”
Kebbel teased that the John Tucker “may or may not get a chance to change”, while fellow cast mate Sophie Bush insisted she’s “ready to go” and return as Beth McIntyre.
Metcalfe openly wondered if he’d have to wear a thong again, and Kebbel quipped: “We wanted to talk to you about that.
“We were thinking you’d actually, like, make your own brand, endorse it. It’d be a whole thing.”
He replied: “I’m here for it. I can’t wait to unleash this dad bod on the big screen.”
The original 2006 movie saw jock hunk John Tucker in trouble after three girls – played by Bush, Kebbel and Ashanti – find out he has secretly been dating all three of them.
They put together a scheme to get new girl Kate (Brittany Snow) to seduce and eventually break his heart in a bid for revenge.

Pirates of the Caribbean to get a reboot

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise is going to get a reboot.
Movie producer Jerry Bruckheimer has worked on all five of the Johnny Depp-starring films – based on the Walt Disney theme park ride of the same name – and now he’s opened up about plans for number six revealing they are toying with the idea of a new film starring Margot Robbie but he thinks a reboot may happen first because it will be “easier to put together.
During an interview with Comicbook.com, Bruckheimer was asked whether fans should expect a new ‘Top Gun’ movie before the next ‘Pirates’ installment and he explained: “It’s hard to tell. You don’t know, you really don’t know. You don’t know how they come together. You just don’t know.
“Because with ‘Top Gun’ you have an actor [Tom Cruise] who is iconic and brilliant. And how many movies he does before he does ‘Top Gun’, I can’t tell you.
“But we’re gonna reboot ‘Pirates’, so that is easier to put together because you don’t have to wait for certain actors.”
Bruckheimer previously revealed movie bosses have two ‘Pirates’ ideas on the go, and he’s hoping they will both get made eventually.
Speaking in 2022, he told The Hollywood Reporter: “We developed two of them – the one with Margot Robbie and one with a younger cast. The Margot Robbie one needs a little more work. The younger cast one is close. Hopefully we’ll get both of them.”
When asked if the Margot Robbie project may end up being shelved, he added: “It’s alive for me. It’s alive for Disney. I’m sure she [Robbie] was disappointed it didn’t go first – or maybe not because she’s very busy, so it might be a blessing to push this a bit. We believe we’ll get it made. It’s a very strong story.”

The Jury is returning to Channel 4 for another trial

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Jury’ has reportedly been commissioned for a second series.
The Channel 4 legal reality show – which was based on a real life murder trial – was a TV experiment featuring actors playing the judge, barristers, defendant and witnesses, while two separate juries watched proceedings, with each group unaware of the other.
The aim of the show was to see whether the jurors would reach different verdicts despite getting the same evidence.
According to The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column, the show is set to return for another series, which this time will feature a staged terrorism trial.
The programme first aired last month, and bosses Andy Vasey and Dan Warner, Creative Directors at 4creative, described the project as “fascinating”.
They said in a joint statement just before the first series aired: “The show is an innovative true crime experiment that gives the public an insight into the British jury system.
“Our campaign spotlights how, for example, a juror being hungover or tired might be as likely to sway a verdict as the facts of the case.
“With one trial and two juries, it’s fascinating to see whether the same verdict will be reached by both.”
The show was filmed over 10 days in a former Essex courthouse, taking a “forensic look at the inner workings of justice”.
Before the first series, Channel 4 teased: “The two juries will be asked to judge on the real case of a man who admits he killed his wife, but whose defence maintains that he lost control, and is therefore not guilty of murder.”
Names, dates and locations were changed for the dramatisation, but the facts were all based on official transcripts from the original case.

Celebrity Big Brother’s AJ Odudu confirms backdoor eviction

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Celebrity Big Brother withdrew its live feed on Wednesday night following a backdoor eviction.
Presenter AJ Odudu has confirmed the unnamed housemate, whose identity will be revealed on Thursday night’s (21.03.24) ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ episode, was already “in hiding” on Wednesday evening after departing the abode earlier that day, meaning there are now just five stars remaining ahead of Friday’s (22.03.24) finale.
Speaking on Wednesday night’s (20.03.24) ‘Celebrity Big Brother Late and Live’, AJ said: “Earlier today, Big Brother unleashed a surprise eviction on the housemates, and one more celebrity has already left the Big Brother house.
“The gallery has been locked off, they’ve doubled the security on the camera runs, and the evicted housemate is already in hiding. Juicy.
“You will have to tune into ITV1 at 9pm tomorrow to find out who has fallen at the last hurdle.
“But the good news is the evicted housemate will be with Will Best tomorrow for their first exclusive interview right here on ‘Celebrity Big Brother Late and Live’. Hurrah!”
AJ also confirmed there wouldn’t be a live feed on Wednesday night.
On Tuesday night’s (19.03.24) ‘CBB’, Marisha Wallace and Zeze Millz were dumped from the show as part of a double eviction.
Following her exit, Marisha appeared on ‘Late and Live’, and the star admitted the real reason she voted for Ekin-Su Culculoglu during face-to-face nominations, after telling the ‘Love Island’ winner at the time she didn’t feel she could beat her in the final.
She told Will and AJ: “I was trying to cushion the blow because I just felt, you know when your spidey senses go ‘bling-a bling-a ling’, I just felt that something wasn’t right.
“I didn’t know how to articulate it. Maybe I was scared that she might turn on me on the other side.”
Asked how she would articulate it now, she said: “Well I would have just said that when I heard you say some things in the house I just felt a bit wary of you as there were some things that you said that made me feel like maybe I couldn’t trust you so much.
“That’s what I should have said, but that’s how I felt in that moment. But after that happened we were crying like babies over a teddy bear.
“But when you first meet these people you don’t know who to trust and after that I felt closer to her, I don’t know if she feels that way, I hope she does.”
One of either Louis Walsh, David Potts, Nikita Kuzmin, Fern Britton, Colson Smith or Bradley Riches have already been evicted from the house, and the other five will be in Friday’s finale.
‘Celebrity Big Brother’ continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX and is available in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.

‘My wife still mocks me!’ Danny Dyer forced to ‘punch his way out of wardrobe’ after building error

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Dyer once had to “punch” his way out of a wardrobe after he accidentally built it around himself.
The 46-year-old TV star – who previously played Mick Carter on BBC soap ‘EastEnders’ – constructed some furniture shortly after becoming a father to his daughter Dani Dyer, 27, only to find he had trapped himself in it.
He said: “I had a child young and tried to build a wardrobe.
“But I built myself into it. I had to punch the back of it to get out. My missus [Joanne Mas] still mocks me to this day.”
The actor pokes fun at himself on the next ‘The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer’ episode on Sunday (24.03.24).
Danny stars alongside Radio 1 DJ Yinka Bokinni, comedian Rhod Gilbert, and comedian Leigh Francis in the episode, in which the quartet are asked to make their biggest failures in cake form.
While he is looking forward to the show, Danny admitted he doesn’t have much faith in his baking abilities, considering he has “blagged” his “whole career”.
He said: “I’ve had many failures in my life, some of them I can’t do though cos they’re filth. I’ve blagged my whole career, 30 years.
“I’ve made a whole career out of that. I still have no idea what I’m doing. Who knows? Maybe I’m meant to be an unbelievable baker.”
Danny also joked that he while he was “definitely not nervous” to appear in the tent, the ‘Cheat’ star worried he would struggle on the Channel 4 special because he was “very tired and very hungover”.
He to the Daily Mail newspaper: “I’m definitely not nervous. I have done some really scary things in my time. So this wasn’t a nerve-wracking thing.
“You always want to give a good account of yourself and hopefully learn a few things on the way. But no, I wasn’t nervous, just very tired, very hungover.
“I am 46 now and got home at half three and up again at half six, so you can imagine baking that showstopper when you are really tired. It’s been a struggle with the old concentration. My brain just needs to rest, but that is the tricky part.”
