OHMYGOSSIP — Sienna Miller has an “intuitive reaction to scripts”.
The 37-year-old actress has admitted to making instantaneous judgements on film scripts, deciding whether or not to accept a role within moments of reading her prospective lines.
She shared: “I have a pretty intuitive reaction to scripts. I know it’s something that I’m desperate to do when I have a vision of how to do it, instantaneously.
“Sometimes I get offered things and I feel like I could do it standing on my head, and I have to be careful of that because, if I get lazy, it’s not so good. And then, of course, there are things that I read that I love, but it doesn’t feel right.
“There’s not much more to it than that for me.”
The Hollywood star also revealed she’d be interested in starring in a “limited series”, although she doesn’t see herself making the transition until later in her career.
For the moment, Sienna is determined to enjoy a “variety of experiences”.
Asked about the possibility, she told Collider: “I like the idea of limited series. I can’t imagine playing the same person for seven years.
“I love watching those shows, and I think they’re epic, but I would go mad. I’m too restless to stay with something. Maybe when I’m in my 50s, I could see how that would be a great thing to explore, to spend time with a character and age with it, and go on a journey.
“But right now, I just want a variety of experiences.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sherif Lanre was axed from ‘Love Island’ after accidentally kicking Molly-Mae Hague in the crotch and calling it a “c*** punt”.
The 20-year-old reality star has lifted the lid on his abrupt exit from the show, revealing he regrets making the vile joke that led to him leaving the villa.
He confessed: “I’ve been stupid and let myself down.”
Despite his regret, Sherif insisted he never intended to cause any serious offence.
He told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “I have never used the word before and I realise how insulting it is to women.
“As someone raised by a strong and loving mother, I want to say that I would never intentionally offend women. I was completely wrong and I apologise.”
Sherif was forced to leave the ‘Love Island’ villa by the show’s bosses, but no official reason was given for his exit.
ITV subsequently released a statement on behalf of Sherif.
The statement read: “In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.
“I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way.”
But Sherif has now slammed the show’s bosses, arguing he was the victim of “unconscious racism”.
He said: “I was the only black man in the villa and I was kicked out after ten days.
“In my opinion, what happened was unconscious racism.
“There was, I felt, sexism. I feel I wouldn’t have been given that red card if I was a white woman.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Samantha Mumba wants to relaunch her pop career by starring as a judge on ‘The Voice’.
The 36-year-old singer – who released her debut album, ‘Gotta Tell You’, at the age of 16 – has revealed she wants to replace Jennifer Hudson on the TV show’s judging panel.
Samantha – who now has a four-year-old daughter called Sage – explained: “I’ve always loved ‘The Voice’. I think it’s a fantastic format. I love that it’s all about vocal talent rather than someone’s image. That makes it really special.”
Jennifer, 37, is quitting her role as a coach after three years on the popular TV show, and bosses are currently seeking a suitable replacement.
Samantha, for her part, has revealed she’d jump at the opportunity to join the programme’s star-studded judging panel.
The Grammy-nominated star – who has also appeared in a number of movies – told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “If there’s a spot available on the show, I would absolutely love to jump in and become a coach.
“After so many years in the industry, it would be amazing to be able to mentor aspiring singers. The show also looks like a lot of fun.”
The most-recent series of the show featured a judging panel that included Jennifer, will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Olly Murs.

OHMYGOSSIP — Catherine Tyldesley thinks social media can have a “heartbreaking” impact on impressionable people.
The 35-year-old actress – who is best-known for playing Eva Price on ‘Coronation Street’ – has warned of the potentially toxic influence of platforms like Instagram, saying it’s created mounting pressure to conform to a specific beauty ideal.
She told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “We’re bombarded with these images of perfection on Instagram and different apps. But at your local leisure centre pool and no one looks like that.
“Everyone’s a bit wobbly, has cellulite, and everyone has ­different body shapes.
“But we’re consumed by images that aren’t real, and airbrushing apps. It’s slightly heartbreaking what we’ve done to ourselves.”
Catherine – who has a four-year-old son called Alfie with her husband Tom Pitford – previously admitted to sometimes feeling self-conscious about her own appearance.
The blonde beauty said: “I have days all the time where I’m feeling a bit wibbly wobbly … but I don’t let it spoil my fun.
“Having kids you don’t think about it as much, because you’ve not got the chance. Alfie doesn’t care what’s hanging out or if you’ve got a six-pack.
“It’s been a very positive impact on my life, having Alfie. Because, before that it was like: ‘Right, I’ve got to train five times a week.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Linda Nolan began ticking various ambitions off her bucket-list during the midst of her cancer fight.
The 60-year-old star was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 and though her illness is currently “contained”, she remains determined to live the fullest, most enjoyable life possible having been given a “second chance”.
Linda – who was also diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 – told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “The cancer hasn’t spread and that’s the main thing. That is the worry, of course.
“It’s treatable and not curable – and the treatment is working well. The only side-effect is arthritis in every joint which is very painful, but at least it’s not cancer.”
Linda has ambitious plans for the future and has insisted she won’t allow her health scare to stop her having fun.
She said: “You have to be optimistic. There are lots of things I want to do with my life. I’ve been given a second chance.”
Meanwhile, Linda admitted in 2018 that she started self-harming after her husband died.
The singer revealed that following the passing of her husband Brian Hudson – who died of skin cancer – in 2007, she began to self-harm without realising what she was doing.
She said: “I self harm. I bite my hand or I rub my skin until it bleeds.
“I started once my husband died in 2007. The pain there took away the pain in [my heart].
“And it made me feel better. I still do it sometimes, but I don’t even know I’m doing it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sophie Turner insists ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ isn’t a traditional superhero movie.
The 23-year-old actress returns as Jean Grey for the latest installment of the comic book franchise but she feels it is very different to the other films in the series.
She said: “It’s far more character-driven and emotional – in the same way that ‘Logan’ was different in style from the other ‘Wolverine’ and ‘X-Men’ films. This is a family drama, rather than a superhero movie.”
Sophie admitted she had no idea her alter ego would eventually take the central role when she signed up for ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ three years ago and was “frightened” about being able to step up to the challenge.
Asked if she knew what producers had in mind, she said: “Absolutely not. When I Was playing Jean Grey in the previous movie, there were vague rumours that the ‘Dark Phoenix’ story from the comics might be adapted for the follow-up movie. It was only a year and a half later that Imon Kinberg invited me to lunch and told me what he was planning. I was frightened because, in the comic world, this particular plot line is a big deal, so it meant I would be under a lot of pressure. But, at the same time, it was a real honour to be taking up the challenge.”
Sophie particularly enjoys working with her co-star Tye Sheridan because they are very close off screen.
Speaking to Psychologies magazine, she said: “We’re great friends. I’ve always said to Tye that he’s the best on-screen boyfriend I’ve ever had. It’s so nice to have such a wonderful relationship with someone with whom you’re sharing really intimate scenes.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kid Cudi has been cast in the ‘Bill & Ted’ reboot.
The 35-year-old rapper – who has sold more than 16 million records as a solo artist – is set to star alongside Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter in the much-anticipated reboot movie, which is slated for release in 2020.
Cudi’s casting has already been officially confirmed, although his role has not yet been publicly revealed.
In an exchange on Twitter, Alex – who plays the part of Bill S. Preston, Esq in the comedy series – wrote: “@KidCudi dude. It’s been over five years since you and I talked about you being part of this movie. Thanks for your patience 🙂 (sic)”
And Cudi replied: “Alex!!! Man i remember like it was yesterday! Life is wild!! Cant wait to reunite and see u dude!! Big hug for ya (sic)”
Deadline has published a synopsis of the eagerly awaited new film, teasing details of what fans can expect from the project.
The synopsis reads: “Yet to fulfil their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends, Bill and Ted, set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe.
“Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, old friends, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ beauties Anna Vakili and Maura Higgins were “saved by the boys” with two hunks set to enter the villa.
At the end of Sunday night’s (16.06.19) tense episode, the contestants were left facing a recoupling with the two hopeful romantics finding themselves without a man.
However, it was revealed that they will go on dates with new arrivals Jordan Hames, 24, and Tom Walker, 29, as things look to heat up with the two models set to join the islanders.
Anna and Maura, both 28, were left without partners, with Tommy Fury deciding to stick with Molly-Mae Hague.
He said: “Ever since she walked into the villa she put a big smile on my face… I’m just hoping that we can get to know each other more and more as the days go on… I have to always go with my gut, as you all know.”
The recoupling results also saw Danny Williams pick Yewande Biala, while Curtis Pritchard wanted to stay with Amy Hart, Anton Danyluk chose Elma Pazar, and Michael Griffiths wanted to be with Amber Gill.
There was also tension with Joe Garratt and Lucie Donlan over her friendship with Anton, but he ultimately decided to stay with her and “see how this goes”.
Meanwhile, incoming islander Jordan has promised to “bring something different” to the show, and he admits he will be “greedy” when he’s with the other islanders.
He says: “I like all of them, I’m greedy in that sense. I like blondes, brunettes, red heads. I would say Anna, Amber, Molly-Mae and Elma are on my radar.”
It looks like fellow newcomer Tom has his eye on Lucie, and he could look to capitalise on uncertainty with Joe when he enters the villa.
He says: “I like the new girls – Maura is a cannon. She’s gone in there and torn it up. She might be a bit too hot to handle!
“I really like Ema. She’s got a look I tend to go for. From day one I liked the look of Lucie, although she seems pretty happy and settled with Joe. I’ll find out whether she is when I get in.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle is going to be a dad for a second time.
The former ‘Geordie Shore’ star – who quit the show after six years to focus on parenthood when his partner Emma McVey gave birth to their son Chester 17 months ago – revealed the exciting news on Father’s Day (16.06.19) as he announced the loved up couple are expecting another child.
He tweeted: “BABY NO 2 so so soooo excited !!!! Chester will have a brother or sister and that’s makes me so happy…. (sic)”
Taking on Instagram, he admitted that the first time nerves he had with Chester have given way to “excitement” with his sibling.
He added: “BABY NO 2 WE MUST BE MAD…. joking wow so nice to finally let everyone know baby no 2 will be with us later this year and I am SOOOOOOOO EXCITED Chester changed my life and now to give him a brother or sister is just amazing I was so nervous with Chester but now it’s just excitement… (sic)”
Emma also revealed the news on her own social media accounts, and she said she was looking forward to giving her son a “brother or sister”.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “We can finally share our amazing news. Baby number 2 on the way… I’m so excited for Chester to have a brother or sister and make our house a little bit more crazy!”
The wonderful announcement comes just days after Gaz, 31, admitted he is loving life out of the public eye, and he is enjoying the chance to be himself with his family.
Responding to an Twitter troll who claimed the former reality star only had “video game and babies” to keep him busy, he fired back: “If only u new how nice it felt to be irrelevant spent 7/8 years being a little puppet to management and tv producers…
“Being normal and having family is actually amazing… oh and not to mention the stuff I invested in all paid off so I can enjoy it.. but yer thanks (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sherif Lanre claims a ‘Love Island’ contestant was not reprimanded for using “racist language”.
The 20-year-old hopeful – who left the show by “mutual consent” last week after accidentally kicking Molly-Mae Hague in the crotch during a play fight and calling the blow a “****-punt” – has accused producers of double standards after they allegedly ignored one of the men in the villa using the “N-word” in a rap.
He told The Sun newspaper: “There was one guy, who I will not name, who repeatedly used the N-word as he rapped in front of me.
“He said it two or three times and he was not pulled aside even though the code forbids racist language.
“The same rules did not seem to apply to the other contestants.”
According to reports, the contestant was singing Drake’s Over My Dead Body’ and another hopeful raised concerns at the time but no action was taken.
A source added: “Sherif was not particularly offended by it, as the person in question was just singing a song, but someone else clearly was.
“But Sherif was left feeling like there were double standards given his swift removal after his comments.”
ITV insisted there was no evidence that anyone in the villa had used the racist term.
A spokesperson said: “We monitor the islanders 24/7 and we have no recording of the use of this offensive language.
“And, at no point, does anyone use that offensive language in rap lyrics or any other time. We do have clear rules on the use of language in the villa.”
Sherif previously argued his axing from the show was “unconscious racism”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Bautista “didn’t care” if Disney fired him over his defence of James Gunn.
The 50-year-old actor was furious when the director was axed from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 3’ over some controversial past Twitter jokes so was happy to speak up to support his pal, even if it means he lost his role as Drax in the franchise because he felt the studio made a “bad call” and he “didn’t want to be a part” of the filmmaker’s downfall.
Asked about rumours he threatened to opt out of future projects as Drax if James wasn’t rehired, he said: “No, it wasn’t that I was going to jump ship and do ‘Suicide Squad’. I was more at the point where I was like, ‘Fire me. I don’t care. You’re going to hear what I have to say. And this is the way I feel and I think you made a bad call and I don’t care if you fire me because I feel this way. This is me being honest and me sticking up for my friend who was wronged.’
“So that was it. It wasn’t about me — I’m not threatening to go do ‘Suicide Squad’, but I was just saying, ‘If things aren’t here, I’m just going to leave. I don’t want to be a part of this.'”
The 52-year-old filmmaker – who was hired late last year to write the next ‘Suicide Squad’ film – was fired last July after joking about child abuse and rape a decade ago, but apologised shortly afterwards and was reinstated in March.
And Dave thinks it is impressive of Disney to have brought back the director and thinks they have shown anyone can apologise for making a “mistake”.
He added to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I feel great! They admit that they just made a wrong decision. For a huge juggernaut of a corporation like Disney to say, ‘We made a mistake and we’re going to make this wrong a right.’
“I mean, that says something, you know? If they can do that, if they can change their minds and say they made a mistake, then anybody can. And sometimes it’s never too late to say you were wrong.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Berry doesn’t think the ‘Worzel Gummidge’ reboot can measure up to the original.
The 78-year-old actor – who played Mr. Peters on the BBC sitcom from 1979 to 1981 – has hit out at the planned remake with Mackenzie Crook taking on Jon Pertwee’s role from the classic kid’s show, and he admitted the performance could be “impossible” to even match.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column, he said: “They don’t come much better than that for this sort of thing. I think the remake is going to be up against it.
“I’m wary of the Worzel remake for their own benefit because Jon Pertwee could be extremely hard, if not impossible, to match, let alone top.”
And the star agreed that broadcasters could be struggling for original ideas because “everything has been done” already.
He added: “I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. Everything has been done. And these shows do run out of ideas.”
Last year, it was reported that the much-loved talking scarecrow – who got into mischief on Scatterbrook Farm with interchangeable heads, with each one giving him a special skill – is being resurrected by ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star Crook.
The 46-year-old actor – who also played Gareth Keenan in ‘The Office’ from 2001 to 2003 – is set to take on the character, who last appeared on screens 23 years ago, as well as penning the script for the reboot of the popular children’s TV show, which will be an adaptation of the classic Puffin books by Barbara Euphan Todd, and broadcast by the BBC.
A source said at the time: “Mackenzie has been working on this for some time. He’s written most of the script and pitched it to the BBC who were keen and are now officially on-board.
“It is not a continuation of the old story. Worzel is a legendary kids TV character and Mackenzie is keen to make sure the series does it justice.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Brook’s ‘Midsomer Murders’ appearance only lasts 60 seconds.
The 39-year-old model is said to have filmed scenes for the crime drama two years ago as her blushing bride character Laurel meets her maker on her big day, and it seems her screen time is going to be short lived.
As reported by the Daily Star newspaper’s Hot TV column, Kelly – whose episode ‘Til Death Us Do Part’ is part of the show’s 20th anniversary celebrations – appears for just one minute in the opening scenes, dancing with her groom and speaking just two lines before she’s killed off.
In an emotional farewell to an elderly wedding guest leaving the bash, she says: “Oh don’t, you’re gonna start me off again.”
Her other line is simply: “Bye.”
There is a silver lining for Kelly though, with the report noting that she does appear again for 20 seconds at the end of the episode in a flashback revealing who killed her.
Although the episode was filmed two years ago, ITV hasn’t confirmed when it will air, while there are also another three unseen stories created for the drama’s anniversary.
A spokesman said: “Each ‘Midsomer Murders’ film is a self contained story and consequently it gives us the flexibility to play as special episodes in the schedule rather than as a series.”
Kelly – who filmed alongside Neil Dudgeon, who plays DCI John Barnaby. – has been wanted by show bosses for some time after confessing her love for the series.
She previously said: “I want to go and die in an episode of ‘Midsomer Murders’ as that’s the show I love most.
“I can’t think why they haven’t asked me yet.”
Kelly’s short stint in the show was revealed in August 2017, and she was said to be delighted at the prospect of starring in the programme.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lili Reinhart is set to star and executive produce Amazon Studios’ coming-of-age romantic drama ‘Chemical Hearts’.
The 22-year-old actress – who is best known for playing Betty Cooper on The CW drama series ‘Riverdale’ – is on board for the lead in the film adaptation of Krystal Sutherland’s young adult novel ‘Our Chemical Hearts’.
The movie will written and directed by Richard Tanne for Amazon Prime Video and will follow Henry Page, a teen romantic who has never been in love and is focusing all his attention on getting good grades and attending a decent college.
When he meets Grace Town, a new student who walks with a cane, wears oversized boys’ clothes, and rarely seems to shower, and begins editing the school newspaper with her he quickly finds himself falling for her.
Julie Rapaport, Co-Head of Movies at Amazon Studios, said in a statement: “We are thrilled to work with this talented team to bring to life a beautiful story of first love and heartbreak.
“Krystal Sutherland’s novel captured the hearts of readers around the world, and we are excited to bring this film to our global Prime Video customers.”
‘Chemical Hearts’ will be produced by Page Fifty-Four’s Alex Saks and Tanne while the film is executive produced by Jamin O’Brien and Reinhart, in her first executive producer role.
As well as ‘Riverdale’ Lili has starred opposite Elle Fanning and Ben Foster in Melanie Laurent’s ‘Galveston’ which made its world premiere at SXSW last year as well as Julia Hart’s ‘Miss Stevens’ opposite Lily Rabe and Timothee Chalamet which followed a high school drama teacher as she attends a drama competition with three of her students.

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Nightingale’ director has insisted the movie is not “gratuitous or exploitative” after claims it had too many scenes of graphic violence and rape.
The 2018 Australian period thriller film was written and directed by Jennifer Kent and follows a young convict woman (Aisling Franciosi) in 1825 Tasmania seeking revenge for a terrible act of violence committed against her family during the frontier war massacres of Indigenous Australians.
Following a mass walkout at early screenings of the movie, the ‘Babadook’ filmmaker has defended her film, alleging that the movie is “not about violence” and revealed that she had been contacted by victims of sexual violence, who had thanked her for the honest portrayal.
In a statement, she said: “I do not believe this would be happening if the film was at all gratuitous or exploitative.
“Whilst ‘The Nightingale’ contains historically accurate depictions of colonial violence and racism towards our Indigenous people, the film is not ‘about’ violence.”
Jennifer went on to say that ‘The Nightingale’ had actually toned down some of the violence suffered by Indigenous Australians and contains a historically accurate depiction of the violence suffered by those in Tasmania.
She said: “We’ve made this film in collaboration with Tasmanian Aboriginal elders, and they feel it’s an honest and necessary depiction of their history and a story that needs to be told. I remain enormously proud of the film.”
“If we showed what really happened in Tasmania in 1825, no audience could bear it.”
The movie debuted at the Sydney Film Festival last week and saw the majority of the sold-out audience at The Ritz in Randwick walk out within the first 20 minutes of the movie.

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Rimmer could be tempted by ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
The TV chef – who appeared on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in 2017 – has admitted he would be keen on a stint in the jungle after the camp had a much friendlier atmosphere last year.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, he said: “I’d probably do the jungle. I always said I wouldn’t, but think I’ve become quite intrigued by that…
“It’s a slightly different show now too – it’s a really nice warm cuddly show these days.”
Although some viewers were disappointed by the lack of drama, the 56-year-old star was moved by the “really lovely” camp mates and how they interacted with each other.
He added: “In the past it always felt the jungle thrived on the tension in the camp. But this year in particular, I thought was really lovely.
“Just a really nice bunch of people. Emily [Atack] was brilliant, Fleur [East] was brilliant, Harry [Redknapp] was amazing, really good this year.”
The ‘Sunday Brunch’ presenter was paired with dancing pro Karen Clifton on ‘Strictly’ two years ago, and when he left after six weeks he praised the “positive” experience.
He said at the time. “Do you know it has been the most amazing experience ever from the minute I walked in through the door.
“The ‘Strictly experience’ is just so positive, every single person involved in it is so positive. And like, all of that lot up there, all the rest of the class of 2017, are just magnificent people. All the pro dancers are amazing.”
However, he has now dismissed the idea of trying out his skills on the rink.
He said: “I definitely wouldn’t do ‘Dancing On Ice!’ ”
