Crissy Rock forgives grandfather who abused her

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Benidorm’ actress Crissy Rock bravely opened up about the physical abuse she suffered at the hands of her grandfather as a child – and remarkably admitted she forgives him for his abhorrent actions.
The 60-year-old comedian appeared on ‘Loose Women’ on Monday (24.06.19) to talk about the devastating abuse she suffered at the hands of her granddad from the age of seven, which included him dragging her from her bed at night and douse her in cold water in the bath amongst many other violent acts.
But incredibly she also revealed how she cared for him after he had a stroke and forgave him for his actions following his death when she was 15.
In the emotional interview, Crissy said: “A lot of what happens in your life is related to mental health and I’ve always known why I have these feelings and why I have these anxiety attacks I’m able now to control it. I know why a smell, sound, noise something that has a domino effect that transports you right back … I have a phobia of having a bath. I can’t get into a bath, to me it was getting dragged out of bed by scruff of your hair, being thrown into a freezing bath, and being scrubbed and told how discussing and filthy you were and how it was all your fault.”
Recalling her grandfather’s death, she said: “When he died I was so angry with him. How dare he just die and not say why? I don’t understand why you did what you did. He’s just gone and took it away so I can’t questions.”
Speaking about how she came to the decision to forgive her abuser after sitting alone in a room for three days following his death “just arguing with a person that was dead”, she added: “If he walked in the door I would sit him down and say, ‘I don’t understand why but I’m going to forgive you, and for forgiving you I forgive myself.’ ”
In the powerful interview, Crissy was too overcome with emotion to speak when panellist Jane Moore asked if the abuse was both physical and sexual.
The stand-up comic admitted she began self-harming in a bid to try and cope with the feelings of pain and confusion she had about the abuse.
She said: “I was removing the pain, I was in control of when I was going to hurt.”
At the time, Crissy wanted to tell her parents what was happening but she was too scared that they wouldn’t believe her.
She said: “It was because you were told it was your fault. They wouldn’t believe you and they think you were horrible and stupid.”
In her autobiography, Crissy revealed that she was raped at the age of 15 and became pregnant from the attack.
In the tome ‘This Heart Within Me Burns’, she wrote: “He pushed me hard on the stairs and my head cracked off a banister rail. He began unbuttoning his trousers and I started shaking my head, I couldn’t move. I was like a rabbit caught in the headlights. I wanted to scream but couldn’t. It was over in two minutes.”
Crissy decided to keep the baby and gave birth to her daughter Tracy.

Love Island’s Maura Higgins fuming over Tom’s lads chat

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ contestant Maura Higgins accuses Tom Walker of talking about her “like a piece of garbage” as the pair row about the disrespectful comment he made about her to the other boys.
The stunning Irish babe is left fuming and refuses to accept Tom’s apology after she caught him telling the other guys that he was going to find out if she is “all mouth” with her sexual boasts when the pair spent a night alone in The Hideaway.
After announcing to the other girls that she is not going into The Hideaway with Tom, Maura rants: “I’m not going to let anyone talk about me like a piece of garbage. He’s trying to be a lad out there in front of all the boys. I don’t want a lad, I want a gentleman. Someone who is going to talk about me with a bit of respect.”
The girls are startled by what she heard, and Tom tries to argue the whole thing was simply “miscommunication”.
He says: “I repeated what they asked me.”
When he points out the boys asked him a question, Maura insists there were much better ways to handle it.
She tells Tom: “Maybe you should have been a gentleman. You shouldn’t have said that about me.”
The boys try to get involved to help Tom out, but Maura shrugs off the suggestion she “got the wrong end of that chat”.
Speaking to Anton Danyluk, she said: “No, I didn’t. He’s trying to be a lad. A real man wouldn’t speak about a woman, the way he spoke about me down there.”
Despite her anger, Maura is “so glad” she overheard the conversation because it’s making her realise “he is the last person” she wants to spend the night with.
The drama will unfold on the episode of ‘Love Island’ that will air on ITV2 at 9pm on Monday night (24.06.19).
There will be even more dramatic scenes as there will be a new coupling and the girl who is left single will be dumped from the villa.

Amanda Holden claims Phillip Schofield snubbed her coffee offer

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Holden says Phillip Schofield ignored her offer to meet for coffee.
The 48-year-old presenter recently took a cheeky swipe at Phillip, 47, by naming him as one of the things she wouldn’t want to find in her house, fuelling circulating rumours that there are tensions between the pair who, on occasions, presented ‘This Morning’ together.
Now, the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge has claimed that she extended an olive branch to Phillip, 57, by suggesting they meet over coffee to iron out any differences, however, Amanda claims he ignored her invitation and never replied to her text message.
Appearing on her Heart Breakfast radio show on Monday (24.06.19) her co-host Jamie Theakston asked: “You might have moved on but I just wanted to know, is there any more to the story?”
Amanda then replied: “I did offer to meet him for a coffee months ago, he didn’t reply to my text. What can I say?”
Jamie then said: “The olive branch had been extended.”
To which she replied: “Oh, yes.”
Amanda was previously the favourite to step in for Holly Willoughby, Phillip’s regular ‘This Morning’ co-host, at the end of last year when she went to Australia to present ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ with Declan Donnelly in place of his regular co-star Ant McPartlin, who was taking time out of his showbiz career to recover from alcohol dependency.
However, the job eventually went to Rochelle Humes and Amanda was axed from presenting on the programme.
Jamie went on to question whether Amanda and Phillip could reconcile in the style of Katy Perry and Taylor Swift – who recently patched things up while dressed as a burger and fries in the video for Taylor’s single ‘You Need To Calm Down’ after a long-standing feud over back-up dancers.
He asked: “In a kind of Katy Perry/ Taylor Swift moment, will there maybe be a burger and fries moment for you guys?”
However, Amanda replied: “I doubt it. I’m a vegetarian, Jamie.”

Helen Flanagan is trying to ‘figure out’ Coronation Street return

OHMYGOSSIP — Helen Flanagan is trying to “figure out” how she will make her ‘Coronation Street’ return.
The 28-year-old actress played the role of Rosie Webster in the ITV soap from 2000-2012 and then came back to the cobbles of Weatherfield in 2017 before going on maternity leave to have her second daughter with Celtic footballer Scott Sinclair – 12-month-old Delilah.
Helen – who also has four-year-old Matilda with 30-year-old Scott – will return to the show “at some point” but she needs to work out childcare and the logistics of coming down to Manchester to shoot ‘Corrie’ from her home in Scotland.
In an interview with the new issue of OK! magazine, she said: “I’ve always said I’ll go back, but I’m still not sure when that will be. I’m a mum now so I have to put my children first.
“We have to be based in Scotland for Scott’s job and the show is filmed in Manchester so I need to figure out how I’m going to make it work. The door is open for me to go back so I will return at some point.”
Helen will soon tie the knot with Scott, 30, and revealed that Sally Dynevor and Brooke Vincent, who play her on-screen mother Sally Metcalfe and sister Sophie Webster in the series, will definitely be among the guests as they are “like her family” as she has worked with them since she was nine.
She said: “Sally Dynevor and Brooke Vincent will definitely be there. I’ve grown up working with them they’re like my family.
“I was so excited when Brooke told me she was having a baby. We’ve known each other since we were children and I know she’s going to be an amazing mum. She’s great with children and it’s something she’s wanted for a long time. It’s sad we live so far apart as we won’t be able to have many play dates.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Atkinson celebrated her baby shower without Gorka Marquez on Sunday afternoon (23.06.19).
The former ‘Emmerdale’ actress – who is expecting her first child with the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional – took to her Instagram account to reveal that she was “emotional” that her baby shower had come round so quickly and explained that the 28-year-old professional dancer couldn’t be there because he is on the ‘Strictly Come Dancing Live’ tour.
Opening up about the bash on her Instagram Stories, she said: “So today is my baby shower. It’s come round so quick, and I’ve got no idea what’s happening, the girls have arranged it, I’m just turning up, so I know it’ll be great because they’re great.
“All my family are downstairs, we’re going to set off, I’m trying not to get emotional. But yeah, not long now, Baby Marquez will be here.
“Obviously Gorks can’t be here, he’s on tour at the minute, but … yeah. Baby’s already spoilt with loads of gifts. It’s a baby shower – I can’t drink and none of the gifts are for me!”
And Gemma, 34, went on to thank her family and friends for arranging the special day, which included “afternoon tea and cake”.
She captioned a photo series of her baby shower: “Such a wonderful surprise baby shower!! Cannot Thank my family and friends enough for all making the effort to come and celebrate with me and Baby Marquez and for bringing so many lovely gifts.

Yewande Biala dumped from Love Island

OHMYGOSSIP — Yewande Biala has been dumped from ‘Love Island’.
The 23-year-old scientist was axed from the villa during Monday’s (24.06.19) episode of the ITV2 reality show, after her partner Danny Williams chose to couple up with newcomer Arabella Chi during a shock recoupling that left Yewande single, and therefore booted from the show.
But despite losing out on love, Yewande believes 21-year-old model Danny and fellow model Arabella, 28, have a shot at a future, although she’s concerned about their age gap.
When asked if she can see Arabella and Danny going the distance, she said: “Maybe. A bombshell coming in, it’s very hard and it’s difficult to know their intentions. I hate it when a bombshell comes in saying ‘I want to get to know everyone’, because that is a lie. You know who you’re going for. She knew she wanted Danny. I feel like if he does get to know her, it’s not going to work. There are so many factors – they’re so different, and the age gap. You have to be realistic. He’s just starting his life – he’s only 21. They are in two different phases of their lives. In the villa, it’s very easy to forget.”
Yewande doesn’t want to see Danny and Arabella win the show though, as she’s rooting for close pal Amber Gill and her partner Michael Griffiths, who was originally partnered up with Yewande.
Asked which couple she thinks has the best shot at a future, she said: “Michael and Amber. I love the way it started because the minute I walked in and coupled up with Michael, he said ‘there’s something about Amber that I love so much.’ I was friends with Amber and she was like ‘he’s not my type.’ Gradually you could see her getting nervous around him. The way it’s developed is so organic, which is the way it normally happens on the outside. It’s so magical to watch it happen.”
The scientist believes that alongside Amber and Michael, the only other “genuine couple” is Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart, as she accused all the other islanders of “playing a game”.
Speaking as she left the villa, she said: “I think there are a couple of people in there playing a game – a lot of people aren’t there for the right reasons. I’d probably say there are only two genuine couples. Michael and Amber and Curtis and Amy.”
‘Love Island’ continues on Tuesday (25.06.19) at 9pm on ITV2, and Yewande will appear on spin-off show ‘Love Island: Aftersun’ on Sunday (30.06.19) at 10pm on the same channel.

Arabella Chi has only been loyal in one relationship

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ newcomer Arabella Chi has only ever been “loyal” in “one relationship”.
The 28-year-old ITV2 reality star – who has been showing a romantic interest in fellow Islander Danny Williams since arriving in the villa – has opened up about her previous partners and revealed that she only stayed faithful to her last boyfriend because they had a mutual “respect” for each other which made her “not look anywhere else”.
In an interview in the latest issue of New! magazine, she said: “Yes, I’ve cheated and been cheated on. I’ve only ever been loyal in one relationship, my last one. In that relationship I would never look anywhere else. It all comes down to respect. When it’s on and off with someone you never have respect.”
When looking for a man Arabella likes a “happy medium” between personality and good looks, and she admitted that someone who makes her “laugh” is a must.
She said: “They have to look like they work out and look after themselves – but not too much. For me, someone like Anton is a bit too ‘right’. It’s about getting a happy medium. Personality wise, I have a lot of love to give and I like it if someone returns and makes me feel special. Someone who makes me laugh is the most important thing.”
The blonde beauty is instantly turned-off by someone if they are “arrogant” and Arabella insists that it’s the reason she doesn’t date fellow models.
She explained: “[A turn-off for me is] arrogance. You get a lot of that in modelling! It makes me reluctant to date models. But there’s a difference between cockiness and confidence. I don’t mind cocky but in a charming way.”

Kady McDermott slams Tom Walker over Maura Higgins comments

OHMYGOSSIP — Kady McDermott has slammed ‘Love Island’ star Tom Walker as “rude” after he made comments about Maura Higgins to the other boys in the villa.
The 28-year-old model landed himself in hot water on the ITV2 reality show this week when Maura overheard him telling the other guys that he was going to find out if she is “all mouth” with her sexual boasts when the pair were set to spend a night alone in The Hideaway.
And after Maura confronted Tom over his comments, former ‘Love Island’ contestant Kady – who finished in third place in 2016 alongside Scott Thomas – has defended the Irish beauty and branded Tom as “rude and cheeky”.
She said: “I’m the exact same [as Maura]. It was rude and cheeky. He did say it in front of the whole of the lads and it was about her. It’s true she wants to talk about sex and her sex life, it’s not fair for someone else to say it and say things about her.”
Kady also said it was “insulting” to Maura for Tom to believe she would sleep with him the first chance she got.
She added: “She can speak openly about her sex life and it doesn’t necessarily mean she will sleep with him the first time they get into bed together. I find it a bit insulting.”
The 23-year-old star enjoyed the delights of The Hideaway alongside Scott Thomas when she was on the show, but says heightened excitement doesn’t excuse Tom’s comments.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, Kady said: “When anyone got that text saying they’re going to be in the hideaway, everyone gets excited because the hideaway does usually mean that something would happen … But I just don’t think he should make that comment … it was in front of the boys and she would’ve felt embarrassed.”
After Maura hit out at Tom for talking about her “like a piece of garbage”, he apologised several times, and eventually saved her from elimination during Monday’s (24.06.19) recoupling as he chose to couple up with her again.

Danny Boyle: Ed Sheeran wasn’t my first choice for Yesterday

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Boyle didn’t want to cast Ed Sheeran in ‘Yesterday’ at first.
The ‘Shape of You’ hitmaker plays himself in the upcoming movie – which follows struggling musician Jack Malik (played by Himesh Patel) who one day wakes up to discover he’s the only person who knows The Beatles and can remember their songs – but director Danny Boyle has now revealed he actually wanted Chris Martin to star in the flick instead.
Danny says Ed “teased [him] rotten” when he discovered he was actually the second choice for the movie, but the director is pleased Ed has a “good sense of humour” which stopped the situation from becoming “unpleasant”.
Speaking to NME magazine, 62-year-old Danny said: “He teased us rotten because he found out we’d asked Chris Martin first, so he never let us forget that. And he accused us of asking Harry Styles second, which isn’t true, but we did ask Chris Martin first, so he teases us rotten about that but he gives as good as he gets.
“He’s got a good sense of humour which he needed to have otherwise it could have been quite unpleasant.”
Meanwhile, Danny previously admitted it was “extraordinary” to witness Ed’s sold out ‘Divide Tour’ Wembley Stadium concert from the performer’s perspective, as the star allowed scenes for the film to be shot at one of the shows.
The filmmaker said: “It’s just extraordinary to witness. One man … he’s got 80,000 people in the palm of his hand every night.”
And 28-year-old Ed was also praised by lead star Himesh Patel for having a “great work ethic”, which Himesh said he was “pleasantly surprised” by.
He said: “I was surprised, pleasantly surprised, and he clearly has a great work ethic. And he brought that to the challenge of doing this. It’s not easy to play yourself – perhaps it’s even harder.”

Filming begins on Fast and Furious 9

OHMYGOSSIP — Filming has begun on ‘Fast & Furious 9’.
Nathalie Emmanuel, who joined as hacker Ramsey in the seventh movie, took to Twitter to reveal the next instalment of the blockbuster action franchise is underway and she also teased returning cast members in emoji form.
She wrote on Monday (24.06.19): “Day one of shooting Fast and Furious 9 today… The team is back together.”
It’s believed the first emoji is Vin Diesel (Dom), then Michelle Rodriguez (Letty), Tyrese Gibson (Roman Pearce), Jordana Brewster (Mia) and as the final two have laptops they are believed to be Nathalie and Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges’ (Tej).
Vin also shared a video from the set with Michelle on his Instagram and admitted it felt like a “miracle” completing their first day.
He said: “Wow.
“Can you believe it, Letty? Can you believe it? We just completed our first day and it feels like a miracle.”
He added in the caption: “First day completed!
Blessed beyond words.
#Fast9 2020 (sic)”
Earlier this month, it was revealed that John Cena has joined the cast in an unknown role.
Deadline reported he will however be playing “a bada**”.
The WWE star confirmed the news himself in a Tweet which read: “For nearly 20 years, the Fast Franchise has entertained fans and created some of the biggest cinematic moments in history. It’s an incredible honor to join this franchise and this family. (sic)”
‘Fast and Furious 9’ has a May 2020 release, and is being written by Dan Casey using a story by Justin Lin.
Vin is producing through his One Race Films banner, and Justin Lin will also produce through Perfect Storm Entertainment.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Jason Statham will be sitting this instalment out, as they’re both busy filming a spin-off movie about their own characters, entitled ‘Hobbs and Shaw’.
Jordana Brewster reprises her role after last being seen in ‘Furious 7′, which served as the send off for her on-screen husband Brian O’Connor, played by the late Paul Walker.
And Michelle returns as Letty after a female writer joined the production following Michelle’s complaints that she was originally unsure about coming back to the series due to being disappointed with how the series’ female characters were treated.

Caroline Flack rules out doing reality TV

OHMYGOSSIP — Caroline Flack has ruled out doing reality shows because she thinks it will give her “less” of a chance of becoming a married woman.
The 39-year-old TV presenter and host of ‘Love Island’ has admitted that not only would she not do ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!’ because she wouldn’t cope with the bugs in the Australian jungle and the challenges, but she also thinks it would put off potential husbands.
Speaking on the ITV2 dating show’s official podcast ‘Love Island: The Morning After’, the blonde beauty – who co-presented the ‘I’m A Celeb…’ spin-off show formerly known as ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me out of Here! NOW!’ for two series between 2009 and 2010, alongside comedian Russell Kane – said: “I worked on the Jungle for two years hosting the ITV2 spin-off show and I can safely say you would not get me in there.
I’d probably be voted out first night. I’m not very good with creepy-crawlies, water or heights.
“The more reality TV I do, the less of a potential wife I’d become.”
However, Caroline, who played Roxie Hart in ‘Chicago’ on London’s West End last year, said she would love the chance to reprise the role and land more theatre gigs.
She said: “I Ioved doing that and I’d like to be Roxie again.
“Becoming someone else was really nice.”
Meanwhile, Caroline recently revealed she tried to find love on a celebrity dating app following her split from Andrew Brady.
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestant was briefly engaged to the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star last year, and after they split, she turned to all star dating site Raya to try and find the man of her dreams.
She said: “I was on Raya for a while, I met quite a few people on there. I’m dating. Even though I’ve had ups and downs in my love life, I do still adore love. Sometimes things work out, sometimes they don’t.”
Her comments came after she previously said that following her heartbreaking 2018, she is completely over Andrew and having “some fun” with her dating life.
She said: “[I’m] getting back on the horse. I’ve been dating and really enjoying it. I’ve decided to give people a chance, go and date and have some fun with it. There doesn’t always have to be an end-goal.”
Caroline has previously been romantically linked to the likes of Prince Harry, Harry Styles and ‘Strictly’ pro AJ Pritchard.

Himesh Patel says soap star perception ‘is changing’

OHMYGOSSIP — Himesh Patel thinks the perception of soap stars in show business is “changing”.
The ‘EastEnders’ actor believes it is a “step in the right direction” that an actor “like [him]”, who portrayed Tamwar Masood on the BBC One show for nine years, can make the leap from Albert Square to leading the cast of Danny Boyle-directed movie ‘Yesterday’.
He said: “There’s friends of mine who have been doing really great work since leaving soaps. It’s something that I think has been changing.
“I’m glad that, you know, someone like me, who did nine years on a soap, can now go on and do something like this. That’s kind of a step in the right direction, I think.”
Himesh is unsure whether his part in ‘Yesterday’ – which sees him play a musician who, after an accident, is the only person who remembers who The Beatles are – will be “scrutinised more” because of starting out his career in soaps.
He added to Digital Spy: “I didn’t feel it when I was working on [‘Yesterday’]. And, you know, whether it means that I’m scrutinised more when it does come out, obviously I don’t know. I don’t know whether to expect that or not.
“But the fact that I’m even in this position is a step that I don’t think has happened. Well, it’s been happening slowly.”
Himesh’s comments come after ‘EastEnders’ star Rob Kazinsky – who made a brief return to the show as Sean Slater in May – called for a Twitter user to “stop looking down” on soap operas.
In response to a social media user who said they felt “sad” that he “had to go back to working in soaps”, he replied: “This perspective is one of the reasons I wanted to. Took one day of working with Gillian Wright to be reminded that some of the biggest talent I ever worked with was on this show. It’s privilege to be on something this special, even if just for a moment. Stop looking down on it.
“I have five movies coming out this year that I’m very excited about, and I’m very excited to be working back at my first love too. I hope people can see that there’s really no difference. People look down their noses at these things and I’m trying to show that you don’t have to.”

Catherine Tyldesley wants Sheridan Smith’s variety in her own career

OHMYGOSSIP — Catherine Tyldesley wants to emulate Sheridan Smith’s varied and successful career.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress would love to have the same range of roles across stage and screen, and she praised the talented performer for the different areas she has excelled in.
Speaking to the Irish News, she said: “I came into this business because I love variety and that’s what I wanted to explore. I look at someone like Sheridan Smith, who has done theatre, TV, film and singing, and that’s what I’d love.”
As well as sitcoms like ‘Gavin & Stacey’ and ‘Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps’, Sheridan, 37, has also appeared in the likes of ‘Cilla’ and ‘Black Mirror’ on TV, while her West End credits include ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ and ‘Funny Girl’.
Her film roles include 2016’s ‘The Huntsman: Winter’s War’, and last year she released her second studio album ‘A Northern Soul’.
Catherine, 35, released her own record ‘Rise’ three years ago, and she has been filming with Jason Manford in new BBC One comedy ‘Scarborough’, having recently starred in Channel 5 crime drama ’15 Days’.
And despite her goals away from the cobbles, the soap star admitted she would still consider a return.
She added: “It was a hard decision to leave ‘Corrie’. It’s got such a special place in my heart and always will have, it’s like my second home, and if the time and the story line was right, I’d go back.”
However, Catherine isn’t planning too far ahead, and she is grateful for the opportunities she has.
She explained: “I’ve always lived by the motto, ‘If you can see it, you can dream it, and if you believe it, you can achieve it.’
“I hung on that through all the years of dreaming of being an actor and singer. I just count my blessings and take each day as it comes nowadays.”

Tyla Carr splits from boyfriend 7 months after baby’s birth

OHMYGOSSIP — Tyla Carr has split from her boyfriend Rossco Edmonds – seven months after giving birth to their first child together.
The former ‘Love Island’ star – who enjoyed a short-lived romance with Mike Thalassitis on the ITV2 show – took to Instagram to reveal she is “recently single” and admitted she hasn’t spoken about the break up before because it is an “awful situation”.
She wrote: “I am recently single, I’ve been super quiet because I’m really not sure what to say, it’s an awful situation, but I will explain a few things in good time.”
Tyla shared a picture of herself on a rare night out away from her seven-month-old son Archie – at a charity gala dinner in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity – and admitted the evening was “really needed” because it helped her “get away from all the stress”.
She wrote: “All my fellow Mums, and even you Dads… when you have a young child, it’s not often you get a night away, get to dress up and leave the sick stained tops at home for the evening It’s not often you get to go out and have a real conversation and leave the baby voice you seem to have forever accumulated at home.
“This night out was really needed so thank you to all my lovely girls (swipe left) (we are missing one very good pregnant friend @hl_london) this night helped me get away from all the stress and just be me for the night. So thank you girls 🙂 (sic)”
But the 26-year-old star admitted she suffered a “pretty bad” hangover the day after, and was feeling grateful for her friends and family.

Anyone else avoiding nights out because they know they’ve got to endure their babies energy levels from like 6am the next morning? (sic)”
Tyla gave birth to Archie in December, and in the same month she and Rossco revealed plans to get engaged.
He said: “I’d like to get engaged. We’ve only been together a year.
“We’re going to concentrate on Archie for the time being, but it’s the next step.”
Tyla added: “I’d like to be engaged by the time Archie starts school. I’m not that fussed about actually getting married though.”

Freema Agyeman wants Doctor Who role back

OHMYGOSSIP — Freema Agyeman wants to reprise her ‘Doctor Who’ role as Martha Jones.
The 40-year-old actress – who appeared in the show alongside David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor from 2007 to 2010’s ‘The End of Time’ – admitted she has spoken with Big Finish, a company which produces audio plays featuring characters from the series, a number of times about returning to voice her alter ego but it hasn’t worked out yet.
However, Freema is hopeful that she’ll be able to record something soon.
She told Digital Spy: “Big Finish are brilliant and the stuff they do really fills the timeline gaps for the fandom.
“I have been asked by them a couple of times but timing wise it hasn’t worked out – I think there might be something coming up soon but I can’t say what.”
Later this year, Big Finish will release the four-part ‘Rose Tyler: The Dimension Cannon’, which will see Billie Piper reprise the titular role – which she played from 2005 to 2006 and again in 2008, 2010 and 2013 – to explore what happened from when her alter ego got trapped into an alternate universe in the series two finale ‘Doomsday’ to when she returned in series four.
The production will explore the character’s “journey through dying parallel worlds” and will feature Rose and her family and “capture and showcase the beautifully rich human characters of Doctor Who”.
Billie isn’t the only familiar face to be returning, as Camille Coduri and Shaun Dingwall will reprise their roles as Rose’s parents Jackie and Pete, and Mark Benton is back as alien investigator Clive Finch, despite his show death in 2005.
