OHMYGOSSIP — Love Island’s Tommy Fury is to ask Molly-Mae Hague to be his girlfriend.
The 20-year-old boxer has grown even closer to the 19-year-old social media influencer since she returned from Casa Amor and neither had their heads turned, and he looks set to pop the question in tonight’s (08.07.19) episode.
In a clip from today’s ep on spin-off show ‘Love Island: Aftersun’, he tells pal Curtis Pritchard: “I feel that right now is the perfect time to call Molly my girlfriend.
“This is it. This is f***ing it. I’m going in for it. All or nothing.”
And Tommy admits asking her is going to be the “most nervous” he has ever been.
Speaking in the Beach Hut, he says: “Me and Curtis had a bit of a pump up chat on the day bed and we said, ‘Right, let’s go for it.’
“Asking Molly-Mae to be my girlfriend, singlehandedly, the most nervous I have ever been in my entire life.”
Should Molly-Mae accept his girlfriend proposal, the pair will become the first official couple on this year’s series.
The stars set a new betting record with bookmaker Ladbrokes over the weekend.
Their odds were slashed to 1/12 to win this year’s show and scoop the £50,000 prize money, making them the shortest price of any ‘Love Island’ pair to win the programme since the show began in 2015.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Tommy and Molly-Mae have stormed ahead in the betting and with drama unfolding across the rest of the villa, the pair will only get shorter in the betting over the next few weeks.”
The next best in the betting are Anton Danyluk and Belle Hassan, who are 15/2, but the odds were also cut on Maura Higgins and Curtis winning the show after the 28-year-old model grew close to the ballroom dancer.
While they are not in a couple, Maura and Curtis – who recently ditched Amy Hart – are the 10/1 third favourites to triumph on the programme.

OHMYGOSSIP — James Gunn is “talking about” making a ‘Brightburn’ sequel.
The 52-year-old director is considering a follow-up film this year’s dark sci-fi drama – which follows a young alien (Jackson A. Dunn) who lands on Earth and realises he has super-powers – although he’s “tied up for the next few years” making DC Comics ‘Suicide Squad’ reboot and the third instalment in Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’.
A fan messaged Gunn on Twitter to ask: “We definitely need @brightburnmovie sequel! Would you be so kind and direct it? @jamesgunn (sic)”
The filmmaker then replied: “I think I’m tied up for the next few years with Suicide Squad and then Guardians, but we’re talking about the sequel (sic)”
The film was produced by Gunn and helmed by David Yarovesky and starred Elizabeth Banks and David Denman as the concerned adoptive parents of the young alien they name Brandon.
Banks, 45, previously described the film as the “origin of a supervillian” and explained that the movie was a “really cool mash up” of the horror and superhero genres.
She said: “It’s a really cool mash up of horror and superhero movie, two things people really love to go see in the theatre, especially mashed together hopefully.
“It’s sort of the origin of a supervillian and it sort of asks the question there’s a lot of powerful people in the world do they use their power for the greater good or do they not do that?
“And I feel like there’s a lot of anxiety about that right now in the world, at least there is for me and I thought that was something we got to explore in this movie.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Reynor says ‘Midsommar’ was difficult to make in “every respect” due to the language barrier with the local crew and the daytime shoots.
The 27-year-old actor stars alongside Florence Pugh in Ari Aster’s new folk horror film as a couple on the brink of splitting who attend a midsummer festival in a remote Swedish village with horrifying consequences.
Reynor admits that although he was very “happy with the result” he found shooting the film “f***ng hard” because of the setting.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he said: “It was f***ing hard, man. This was a hard film to make in every respect. When you consider the fact that we’re shooting out in Hungary, one portion of the crew is Hungarian, one portion is Swedish, one portion is English-speaking, and the same applies to the cast.
“There were two people on the entire set who could speak all three of those languages. Just to communicate what was going on, so that everyone was on the same page at all times, that was really difficult.
“And then, also, you’re shooting scenes where it’s refined camera movement, long takes. And it’s daytime.
“It’s blistering sunlight. All these things pile up. But I’m really happy with the result. I think what came out of it is a very unique and really strong film.”
The ‘Sing Street’ star went on to explain that when he first read the script for the film he felt the project was “so ambitious and so huge” and feared that it would be difficult to “pull off”.
He said: “I’m reading this thing and going, Jesus Christ, this is so ambitious and so huge.
“I can’t see a clear path for how we’re going to pull this off, but that’s exactly why I should do it, that’s the reason to sign on to something like this in my opinion.
“This is the thing, I don’t want to sign onto things that I’m always confident [are] going to be easily achieved.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Terry Crews wants to play King Triton in ‘The Little Mermaid’.
The 50-year-old actor has expressed his desire to portray Ariel’s father in the upcoming live-action remake of the animated Disney classic by sharing a Photoshopped image of himself on Twitter with a fishtail holding a trident while in front of the fictional underwater kingdom of Atlantica.
He wrote: “Ariel’s Dad!!!! #ArielsGotTerry #AmericasGotTerry (sic)”
The ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ star later joked about the role: “Good thing I skip leg day because mermen don’t have legs! (sic)”
This news comes after it was announced that Halle Bailey will be taking on the iconic lead role of Princess Ariel in the Rob Marshall-directed film.
Announcing the casting of Chloe x Halle singer, Marshall said: “After an extensive search, it was abundantly clear that Halle possesses that rare combination of spirit, heart, youth, innocence, and substance – plus a glorious singing voice – all intrinsic qualities necessary to play this iconic role.”
The movie will be produced by Marshall, John DeLuca, Marc Platt, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, and ‘Hamilton’ creator Miranda will also be writing new songs for the movie with Alan Menken.
Menken was responsible for penning all the music on the 1989 animated movie along with lyricist Howard Ashman, and songs such as ‘Part of Your World’ and ‘Under The Sea’ – which won a Grammy and the Oscar for Best Original Song – will be included in the live-action version.
Awkwafina is in talks to portray Scuttle, the seagull, while 12-year-old actor Jacob Tremblay will lend his voice to the role of Ariel’s faithful fish friend Flounder. Melissa McCarthy is in n talks to play Ursula, the sea witch, in the Disney movie.
Production is scheduled to begin in early 2020.
Disney is committed to rebooting its classic animations with ‘The Jungle Book’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘Aladdin’ and ‘Dumbo’ all hitting cinemas in recent times with ‘The Lion King’ and ‘Snow White’ to follow among others.

OHMYGOSSIP — Disney’s Freeform has defended Halle Bailey against the backlash she’s received since being cast as Ariel in the live-action reboot of ‘The Little Mermaid’.
Since Disney announced that Chloe x Halle singer Halle, 19, would be portraying the titular character many angry fans took to social media to complain that Ariel was being changed from a red-head with blue eyes to a black character.
Some fans were so angry that an online petition titled #NotMyAriel was started in a bid to force Disney to recast the character with a white actress resembling look of the animated version.
Now Freeform – which is a subsection of the Disney Channel aimed at teens and young adults – has penned an open letter addressed to the “Poor, Unfortunate Souls” who have a problem with Halle’s casting, calling on them to embrace the “incredible, sensational, highly-talented” actress.
Posted on the official Freeform TV Twitter account, the letter read: “Yes. The original author of The Little Mermaid was Danish. Ariel…is a mermaid. She lives in an underwater kingdom in international waters and can legit swim wherever she wants (even though that often upsets King Triton, absolute zaddy)
“But for the sake of argument, let’s say that Ariel, too, is Danish. Danish mermaids can be black because Danish *people* can be black.
“Ariel can sneak up to the surface at any time with her pals Scuttle and the *ahem* Jamaican crab Sebastian (sorry, Flounder!) and keep that bronze base tight. Black Danish people, and this mer-folk, can also *genetically* (!!!) have red hair.
“But spoiler alert – bring it back to the top – the character of Ariel is a work of fiction. So after all this is said and done, and you still cannot get past the idea that choosing the incredible, sensational, highly-talented, gorgeous Halle Bailey is anything other than the INSPIRED casting that it is because she ‘doesn’t look like the cartoon one,’ oh boy, do I have some news for you…about you.”
Despite some fans negative reaction, the Chloe x Halle singer’s casting has been praised by a host of stars including Chrissy Teigen, Willow Smith, Gigi Hadid, Teyana Taylor, Miguel and Normani.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh was involved in a terrifying incident when the captain of a boat she was in fell over and “lost control” of the wheel, resulting in the speeding vessel spinning around in circles.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star hired a boat in Loch Tay, Perth, in Scotland, with her partner Scott Ratcliffe, and she admits it was a “hairy moment” when the wheel slipped out of the skipper’s hand and the boat struck a wave, causing chaos.
She said: “We hired a boat and took a day trip on Loch Tay in Perth.
“It’s beautiful there and so peaceful.
“Well, it was until the skipper turned around for a second and the wheel slipped out of his hand!
“We were going at speed and this tiny wave caught the front of the boat and he fell and lost control of the boat.
“We were going around in circles. It was a hairy moment and we had to go for a stiff drink afterwards.”
Last week, Kym – who plays Michelle Connor on the ITV soap – also enjoyed a couple of drinks with her ‘Corrie’ co-stars Antony Cotton (Sean Tully) and Samia Longchambon (Maria Connor), who she has become “very close” with over the last few years.
Writing in her OK! magazine column, she added: “I hung out with Samia, we’ve become very close over the past few years – she’s a lovely friend and a very positive person.
“True to form, I ended up dancing the night away in Manchester’s Gay Village with Antony Cotton and his partner Peter [Eccleston].
“I did have a bit of a sore head the following day.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Karen Blick almost quit acting to be a teacher before landing a role in ‘Emmerdale’.
The 44-year-old star has portrayed Lydia Hart on the ITV soap since September 2016, but before she took on the part she was lecturing acting students at a college in Halifax, and nearly turned her back on a career in front of the camera altogether.
She said: “There were many times I’d considered giving it up. I even trained as a teacher and did a PGCE in 2008.
“It was an absolute dream come true. It was wonderful. I’m a Yorkshire-based actress and I’ve got a fantastic role in a Yorkshire-based soap.
“I’d been a jobbing actress for 23 years and had landed some decent roles, but it was hard.
“When ‘Emmerdale’ came along, I was lecturing undergraduate acting students at my old college in Halifax.”
Karen is grateful to her husband Simon – who she married in 2011 – for encouraging her to pursue her acting dream.
She said: “We’ve had conversations over the years where I’ve said, ‘OK, maybe I’ll give this up.’
“And he’s always said, ‘Give it another year, stick at it.’ When we got to go to the soap awards together we clinked some champagne glasses and said, ‘Can you believe this?’ ”
Karen’s alter-ego Lydia was recently involved in some racy scenes with on-screen boyfriend James Hooton (Sam Dingle) when the pair’s characters stripped off – and the actress cut out calorific treats from her diet before baring all in the Dales.
She added to the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “When they first revealed Lydia and Sam were going to streak, I thought the producers were joking.
“We were hugely up for a laugh, so we said we’d do it. Then we found out we had four weeks to prepare, so I stopped eating puddings in the canteen and biscuits on the tea breaks.”
Karen recently admitted Lydia had inspired her to take up ballroom dancing for real, after discovering her alter-ego used to be a dancer.
She said: “I have taken up ballroom dancing, through Lydia. I did classes for some of her scenes, and now I’ve graduated from the beginner class to the intermediate.
“I started to learn as it was Lydia’s backstory – she was a ballroom dancer 20-odd years ago.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Holden says Thomas Haden Church saved her husband Chris Hughes’ life.
The 48-year-old TV presenter has revealed the 59-year-old Hollywood star rescued her choking husband by performing the Heimlich manoeuvre on him after he saw Chris turning “blue” when a piece of pasta he had lodged in his throat, while the couple were holidaying in the US.
Speaking on ‘Heart Breakfast’, she said: “I have to say, he [Thomas] is also the saviour of my husband’s life. And that’s no word of a lie. We were on holiday in America and Chris had to have a lunch with an American comedian and I was back at the hotel with the kids.
“And I did keep looking at my watch thinking, ‘Oh brilliant, this is going really well for him, he’s been absolutely ages.’
“But actually what happened was, as he was eating pasta he got a bit lodged in his throat, thought, ‘Oh OK I’ll have a bit of Diet Coke or whatever to swish it down.’
“It expanded and he was doing that British thing of carrying on and making eye contact with this American comedian.
“And he completely went blue, could not breathe. And out of nowhere this man came and did the Heimlich manoeuvre on him and he threw up all over the table.
“He turned round and Chris saw Thomas Hayden Church. The guy was like, ‘Are you OK?’ Chris just goes, ‘Yeah, I loved you in ‘Sideways’.’ ”
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge has also revealed she is to take on a skydive to raise money for Global’s Make Some Noise charity, and confessed she’s never done “anything like this” in her life.
She said: “I flippantly said, ‘Oh yeah I’ll do that’. And then someone actually said to me, ‘Would you seriously jump out of a plane?’
“And I had no idea of the details … and you’ve just told me the details. So I’m thinking if I can do it, everyone else can do it.
“I have never done anything like this in my life”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tamer Hassan has threatened to “parachute” into the ‘Love Island’ villa and “take out” Anton Danyluk if he hurts his daughter Belle Hassan.
The Hollywood hardman – best known for his roles in ‘The Football Factory’ and ‘The Business’ – has urged Anton to “be nice” and not mess with his daughter, because if he does anything to upset Belle then the pair will “have a problem”.
Speaking to The Sun Online, he said: “I kept saying ‘Anton, ‘I dare you, I dare you.’
“I thought, ‘If you say anything that ain’t true or upset Belle, then mate I am coming in on a helicopter with a parachute and I am picking you up and taking you out.’ ”
When asked what would happen if Anton copied the behaviour of fellow islander Curtis Pritchard, who recently dumped Amy Hart shortly after she confessed her love for him, Tamer, 51, said: “Then we’ve got a problem. So I’m telling you, Anton, ‘Be nice.’ ”
As for whom the ‘Game of Thrones’ star wants his daughter to end up in a couple with, Tamer insisted that while he is a fan of boxer Tommy Fury, he’s certain his daughter would never try to pair up with him due to his relationship with Molly-Mae Hague.
He said: “She knows what she wants and she goes and gets it, she’s her father’s daughter, but she’s not one to take another woman’s man because of who she is as a person.
“People have asked me, ‘Is she playing a game?’ Look, it is a game, everybody is playing a game.’
“My advice to Belle was, ‘Listen, be yourself but I am watching your every move, remember who your dad is and do the right stuff.’
“My daughter likes to mother people, she’s like a mother hen, she has been like that since she was a kid.
“She’s not into looks or body shapes or muscle, she is attracted to wounded people. She is attracted to somebody who needs a bit of help, like a wounded animal.
“I like Tommy Fury and Belle liked him too but she would never do anything to hurt another girl like take their man.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Williamson is expecting her second child.
The ‘Celebs Go Dating’ Celebrity Dating Agent is pregnant with her and husband Alex Di Pasquale’s second kid – a sibling for their two-year-old son Enzo – and the happy couple are “absolutely overjoyed” by the news.
She wrote on Instagram: “Ok, so some of you have spotted my slightly fuller figure of late – I haven’t just been eating all the pies (but I have certainly consumed a fair few with cravings)
“Well, there’s a reason…my lovely husband and I, and Vincenzo, are expecting our 2nd baby later in the year. We are absolutely overjoyed (sic)”
Anna suffered from “severe peri and post-natal anxiety” when she was expecting Enzo, so she has spent the last few months ensuring she is going through a “healthy” pregnancy.
She said: “It’s been an important couple of months making sure this pregnancy is healthy, that baby is well (it is) and that crucially my mental health is in good order – as those of you who know me, will know I had severe peri and post natal anxiety when I had Enzo. I cannot thank the NHS Community Perinatal MH Team enough for their first class support and care an absolute game changer (sic)”
Anna has also thanked her ‘Celebs Go Dating’ bosses for being “so supportive” in the early stages of her second pregnancy.
She wrote: “It’s also helped that my wonderful bosses and colleagues at @e4grams @limepicturestv @celebsgodating have been BRILLIANT and so supportive welcoming the 1st agency baby into the fold – for anyone who loves their job, it’s always so reassuring and gratefully appreciated to know you’re 100% supported and cared for. Best team and duty of care ever! Tom better get the nursery ready as its business as usual (sic)”
And the 37-year-old star admitted she was particularly delighted to discover she is expecting again because she is “not getting any younger”.
She told OK! magazine: “I’m not getting any younger, so when we discovered I was pregnant, we were so pleased.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Two ‘Love Island’ couples will be dumped from the villa tonight (08.07.19) – and the Islanders will decide one of the pairs who are axed.
The villa residents will be left in shock when Maura Higgins receives a text asking the Islanders to gather around the fire pit “immediately” while they are having fun celebrating Anna Vakili’s 29th birthday.
Following a vote to discover the public’s favourite couple, the three couples – excluding Jordan Hames and Amber Gill, who are single – with the fewest votes are revealed and told they are at risk of being dumped.
The couple with the fewest votes are dramatically dumped from the island, and with the other two pairs thinking they are safe Tommy Fury receives a text explaining that is not the case.
It reads: “One more couple will be dumped, the other couple will remain in the villa.
“The couple which stays and couple that is dumped will be decided by your fellow Islanders.”
Earlier in the episode, the Islanders enjoy a great birthday celebration for Anna, who feels “so special”.
Speaking in the Beach Hut, she says: “It touched my heart. It made me feel so special. I felt like the luckiest girl, ever.”
Jordan – who Anna looks to have got back with after smooching him, despite being coupled up with Ovie Soko – gave a speech, and the 24-year-old model joked she is “a cougar”.
He says: “Huge happy birthday to Anna. Also, we can officially say that she is a cougar now.”
If that wasn’t enough, Anna is also serenaded by fellow Islanders Molly-Mae Hague and Amy Hart, who make up a special song for her.
They sing: “Our girl today is 29 and we must say she looks way fine. Anna is clever, wise and strong, she’s always there when something goes wrong. Jordan says he loves her toes; will he suck them? No one knows!
“This song is going on without further ado, all that is left to say is happy birthday to you.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy McConnell is to be a dad again.
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star – who has son Caben-Albi, two, with ex Stephanie Davis – and his girlfriend Katie McCreath are expecting their first child together, and they told their family and friends their happy news over the weekend, revealing their baby is due in December.
A source close to the couple told The Sun Online: “Jeremy and Katie are ecstatic. The baby marks a brand new chapter in their lives.
“They are both so excited and can’t wait to welcome their little son or daughter. Jeremy has found someone that he really loves and wants to be with forever. They can’t wait to become parents and start a family together.
“Katie has really supported Jeremy through the tough times and helped him grow as a person. Anyone who knows Jeremy knows that having a family and being a dad is a dream he has always wanted.”
The couple – who have been together for more than a year – shared a number of images with pals, including one of their pet pooch Patsy sitting in front of a black board which contained the message: “Mum and dad are getting me a human for Christmas.”
It comes just days after the 29-year-old model admitted he feels “sick” when he looks back at his past mistakes, as he opened up about his problems with cocaine abuse, describing the Class A drug as “the devil”.
He said: “I feel sick when I look back at myself, I’m so ashamed. I was p***ing money up against the wall to get that buzz. I was only focused on was good looking women and drink.
“Then I was offered cocaine when I was 20 at a party and it took over. I remember the feeling it gave me, it was a buzz.
“I didn’t even start drinking until I was 18 as I was so into my football and fitness but cocaine was easy to fall into as it was everywhere – I didn’t have to go to any lengths to get it as it was so cheap and easy to get. I started using it more and more.”
Jeremy was jailed for 34 days over Christmas 2017 for breaching a community order, and he was previously given a 20-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, after he was found guilty of assaulting his then-partner, ‘Hollyoaks’ star Stephanie.

OHMYGOSSIP — Love Island’s Amy Hart fumes at Maura Higgins in tonight’s (08.07.19) episode for persuading her to dump Curtis Pritchard – as the model prepares to “swoop in” on the single ballroom dancer.
The 27-year-old air hostess has accused 28-year-old Maura of intentionally encouraging her to ditch Curtis after she urged Amy not to give him a second chance when he pursued Jourdan Riane while the girls were at second villa Casa Amor – but the Irish beauty insists Amy is “very wrong”.
Speaking to Amy, Maura says: “From day one, I said that he [Curtis] would have been one of the guys I would have gone for. I do fancy him. I’m an honest person, I can’t hold back, so I did tell him that I liked him.”
Amy replies: “But not honest enough to come and tell me first that you were going to do it?”
Maura then says: “When I came in here, I felt that out of all the girls here, you were the one that wouldn’t let me in.”
Amy replies: “A lot of stuff makes sense to me now. You were one of the most vocal that he didn’t deserve a second chance.”
Maura says: “If you honestly think that I’ve done that to swoop in, you’re very wrong.”
Elsewhere in the show, boxer Tommy Fury asks social media influencer Molly-Mae Hague to be his girlfriend by attaching a note to her cuddly toy Ellie-Belly.
While on the terrace, Molly-Mae reads the note attached to Ellie-Belly, which says: “Dear Mummy, Daddy left me here in his best interests. He wanted me to tell you that you’re his everything. I’m going to leave it with Daddy. So…”
Tommy then says to Molly-Mae: “On a serious note, you know how much you mean to me and you’re the only girl for me. I only want to be with you. Therefore, I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jaden Smith is “losing [his] f**king sh*t” at Robert Pattinson’s Batman casting.
The 20-year-old actor and singer is a massive fan of Batman and he is over the moon at former ‘Twilight Saga’ actor Robert landing the leading role in Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’.
He told Rolling Stone magazine: “Oh my gosh, I don’t even know what to say. Amazing things are happening every day that you don’t even know. I don’t even know. I’m at a loss for words with how excited I am for him. It has to happen. It has to f**king happen. He will be the best Batman. I’m losing my f**king sh*t.”
Warner Bros. were reportedly torn between the Robert and Nicholas Hoult to portray the legendary character but decided on the former ‘Twilight’ star to replace Ben Affleck in ‘The Batman’.
Matt Reeves took over ‘The Batman’ directing duties from Affleck – who also stepped down from the role as the titular character in January – and he will produce the motion picture with Dylan Clark.
Jaden often dresses up as the character Batman and previously revealed he dons his costume when he feels the need to “protect” people.
The star famously decided to wear the Caped Crusader costume to his prom, as well to the wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and he revealed that he chose the hero as his style inspiration because the costume provides the “proper gear” needed to keep people safe.
He said: “I felt as though I needed to protect everyone there and needed to have the proper gear to do so.
“He’s just the s**t, everything about it. It’s a cape, has utilities, has tactical equipment on it. It’s bulletproof.
“It’s everything you ever want. You can hide in the shadows, jump off buildings.
“I just want to live in the most real way, just be a superhero, and save lives, and jump off of buildings, and hide in the shadows.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Andre is defending Curtis Pritchard’s behaviour on ‘Love Island’.
During a dramatic week in the villa, Curtis was criticised for breaking up with his “half-girlfriend” Amy Hart and blaming her lack of confidence on his change of feelings for her.
However, reality TV star Peter was impressed with Curtis’ “honesty” and took to Instagram to praise him.
He wrote: “Curtis has taken honesty to a new level. Am I the only one that can’t help but love this guy. #loveisland. Obviously feel sorry for Amy. Nice girl.”
Curtis opted to recouple with Amy earlier this week but it wasn’t until afterwards that she discovered he had pursued Jourdan, who opted to get together with Danny Williams instead, while Amy was away in Casa Amor.
And Curtis and Amy’s relationship came to an end when she confronted him about moving on, and he said he “couldn’t promise” his head wouldn’t be turned again.
He said: “I’ve meant everything I’ve said but I can’t promise you that this won’t happen again and I don’t want to hurt you how I’ve hurt you. It’s on me, everything is on me. And I am sorry for everything I have done to you. You have every right to say whatever you want about me or to me. I am truly sorry.”
A heartbroken Amy replied: “How can you go from saying you want a future with me, you want to be with me to now saying you don’t want to be with me. You’re a liar. You’re a compulsive liar.”
Amy was then offered “welfare and psychological support” on the show following their split.

OHMYGOSSIP — Aidan Turner says the ‘Poldark’ ending doesn’t feel final.
Although the 36-year-old actor feels the time is right to end the BBC drama after five series, he is open to returning to play the character Ross Poldark in the future.
He told Digital Spy: “It doesn’t feel like an ending – I don’t think that is the BBC being crafty and keeping it open-ended for another series in time, but [while] it feels right, it doesn’t feel final.
“I have no idea [if I would return to ‘Poldark’]. I think Winston Graham’s books pick up a lot later – I think [Ross’ son] Jeremy, who is about 10 or 11, is about 21 or 22 in the next book. I’m afraid of saying anything and I don’t want to detract from this series.
“In 10 years time, Debbie [Horsfield, creator/writer] may come with a script and it would be nice to revisit it and it might be something she is not interested in doing, and some of us aren’t either.”
Meanwhile, Debbie recently insisted the show could return for a sixth series – if the BBC want it.
The 18th century period drama’s upcoming fifth series is the first one not adapted directly from Winston Graham’s book and will see Horsfield bridge the 10-year gap between novels seven and eight so Turner can continue to play Captain Ross Poldark in his 30s.
However, there are still five tomes left which the screenwriter insists could be used for inspiration in the future if the appetite for more ‘Poldark’ is there from BBC bosses.
She said: “Never say never. We’ve had an amazing run but there are five books left and who knows what could happen in a few years. “The BBC would need to say that they wanted more and we’d take it from there.”
The latest version of ‘Poldark’ was first broadcast on BBC One in 2015.
