Tyson Fury not going to Love Island villa to visit brother Tommy

OHMYGOSSIP — Tyson Fury is not going to the ‘Love Island’ villa to see his brother Tommy Fury.
The heavyweight boxer has declined an offer from ITV2 bosses to be part of the reality show’s family day when the contestants’ loved-ones come to see them ahead of the final as he didn’t think it was the right thing for him to do as he’s so busy with his sports career.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “Producers had been trying to secure him for the past few months and he politely avoided answering. But with family visits happening this week, Tyson had to tell them so they could make alternative plans. He felt it wouldn’t work with his profile.”
Usually, it is the contestants’ parents who come to the villa so they can meet the partners they have fallen for on the reality dating show.
Tommy – who fights at light-heavyweight – is hoping to follow in his sibling Tyson’s footsteps and become a boxing world champion when he leaves the programme.
And recently dumped Islander Chris Taylor has revealed that Tommy – who is heading to the final with his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague -sometimes boxes during his sleep.
He said: “One night I was sleeping next to Tommy and he started tapping me, doing boxing moves, it was funny.”
Away from his sport, Tommy already has £100,000 in earnings set to enter his bank from personal appearances.
The 20-year-old pugilist is set to earn £5,000-an-hour for each club appearance he makes between now and New Year’s Eve (31.012.19).
However, Tyson, 30, is “100 per cent” certain he will “return to boxing”.
He said: “He will 100 per cent go back into boxing. It can only enhance his career, raise his profile, people will want to come and see him fight.
“At first, I thought, you know what, when you’re trying to be a boxer – as a young professional, he’s had two professional fights – I thought he’s a good looking lad and he might get carried away in being a TV reality star rather than being a fighting man, and it’s the last thing he needs to do when he’s trying to become a professional fighter.
“Then I thought about it and you know what, it can only enhance his career by getting more people to know him. He’s been on the show and he’s probably already got more of a following than if he would’ve had 40 professional fights, so I think it’s a very good move what he’s doing.”

Christopher Quinten: Coronation Street has lost its razzle dazzle

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coronation Street’s gruelling filming schedule has taken the “razzle dazzle” out of the show.
Former ‘Corrie’ star Christopher Quinten played Gail Platt’s (Helen Worth) mechanic husband Brian Tilsley in the soap back when there were only two episodes a week and he thinks that now that there are five it is more “intense” for the actors.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “Now you would have to spend a lot more time earning your lines. You can’t go out razzling and dazzling.
“It is a lot more serious now – there is no messing around. Before in rehearsals you could mess around and do it differently as long as you did it right in the end. Now it is more intense.”
Meanwhile, Chris, 61, moved on from acting to working as a manager of gentleman’s club Secrets Hammersmith, where he met and fell in love with 21-year-old dancer Robyn Delabarre.
Speaking after their engagement, Robyn admitted her family found their 40-year age gap “really difficult” at first but says they are now “so supportive” of the romance.
She explained: “[My family] found it really difficult at first. The big age gap, it’s a big thing.
“My mum is 38 and my dad is 40. Now they’re so supportive of me. Chris is much older but we had such a nice connection we just got on well, we spoke a lot.”
Christopher, 61, added: “I’ve spoken to the mum and they all love me, thankfully. We haven’t spoken to her dad yet, but he’s OK.”
The happy couple had an “instant connection”, but because they worked together, Robyn had to keep their seven-month romance a secret from her pals, and even family, at first.
She said: “I had to keep it a secret, it was really hard for me. I had to lie to other dancers, my family.
“They [the dancers] are fine about it now, but I think they were a bit disappointed I didn’t tell them.”
She has since been moved on to work at another Secrets establishment after news of their relationship became public knowledge.
Chris added: “We don’t work in the same club now though, because when they found out they moved her from Secrets Hammersmith to the other three clubs they have.”

Danny Jones reuniting with Tom Fletcher on Voice Kids final

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Jones has enlisted his McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher for ‘The Voice Kids’ final.
The 33-year-old singer has asked his pal – who wrote most of the group’s biggest hits, as well as songs for other artists – to share some tips with his hopeful Sam Wilkinson as he’s planning to perform his own original track.
Speaking to Christine Lampard on ‘Lorraine’, he said: “[Sam’s doing his] own song and I brought Tom in to help structure it and give Sam confidence and inner belief to do this for a final.
“I mentor in a way that I want him to have the internal belief to protect him from the external.”
The ‘All About You’ hitmaker is proud his contestant is performing an original song and doesn’t think Sam needs much help to become a fully-fledged recording artist, despite only being a teenager.
Danny added: “He’s now an artist. I think this could be released the day after and be successful. He’s ready to make an album, he’s ready to go.
“Just needs a few more songs and he’ll be there – that’s amazing at 13 years old.”
The talented teen is “excited” for the final and will be up against the other judge’s finalists.
Jessie J, Pixie Lott, and Will.i.am have been mentoring Keira Laver, Gracie-Jayne Fitzgerald and Lil Shan Shan respectively and all three will go head-to-head against Sam at the weekend.
Meanwhile, Danny has been working on his solo career, having released a five-track EP ‘Signs’ in June 2019, but admitted he was “scared” of going it alone originally.
He said: “I didn’t want every song to be just about my upbringing. I have other songs about me coming home and finding my mum crying and my dad having an affair.
“We’ll get to that, there’s time for that to come out. I was scared at first, but I felt a real kind of release from it.”
The Voice Kids final airs Saturday at 8pm on ITV.

Emmerdale stars unsure about Liam Cavanagh and Bernice Blackstock’s future

OHMYGOSSIP — Jonny McPherson doesn’t know if his ‘Emmerdale’ character Dr Liam Cavanagh has a future with Bernice Blackstock.
Liam was left devastated when Bernice accused him of being a serial killer, before discovering he was simply a murder mystery enthusiast, and Jonny is unsure if the pair will be able to work through it.
Jonny told Inside Soap magazine: “He loves her, but if your partner thinks you could murder someone, that’s a stumbling block! She goes to so much by organising a Wild Wild West event – it’s a touching declaration of her love.”
And Samantha Giles – who plays Bernice – admitted she is also unsure if the couple can make it work, even though Bernice is planning to propose.
She said: “I don’t know if Liam will be her happy ending but I think there is potential there. They are well suited, they both have quirks. I think Bernice will want a big extravagant wedding if they do get married – she’ll want to dress up and it’ll be fun. But Bernice doesn’t get a happy ending usually does she?
Meanwhile, Jonny recently said he thinks Liam is becoming a “nerdy” comedy character and joked that bosses have turned his alter ego into a combination of actor Hugh Grant, and Steve Coogan’s comic creation Alan Partridge.
He quipped: “Increasingly, I’m being written as a cross between Hugh Grant and Alan Partridge, but I’m delighted about it as it’s lots of fun.
“It’s all about enhancing aspects of yourself. In real life I’m not as geeky and awkward!”

Charlie Brooks unsure about EastEnders return because of ‘fish bowl’ of fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlie Brooks is wary of an ‘EastEnders’ return because of the “fish bowl” of fame.
The former soap star – who played Janine Butcher on the BBC soap from 1999 to 2004 before returning for another six year stint until 2014 – admitted it was liberating stepping away from life in the limelight but she does wonder where her alter ego has ended up.
Appearing on ITV’s ‘Loose Women’ on Monday (22.07.19), she said: “You feel like you can breath, slightly. And that would be my biggest fear going back into it. It kind of turns your life upside down slightly, which is brilliant in some aspects.
“I love the show and love Janine, and I’m always intrigued to figure out where she’s been and what she’s up to, because she’s so fun. But it does get a lot, you are in a fish bowl and it can be a lot.”
Before leaving Albert Square for the second time, Charlie had appeared on shows like ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’, while in recent years she’s focused more on her stage career.
The 38-year-old actress insisted she would never rule out a comeback, and she’s glad her character’s exit was left open ended as she left for Paris to be with her daughter Scarlett.
Asked about the possibility of a return, she said: “Well, I could – potentially. I always say the same answer, ‘never say never’. You never know – she’s in France, swanning it up with Scarlett.”
Most recently, Charlie has starred on stage as Tamora in Alex Oates’ controversial play ‘All In A Row’.
The production came under heavy criticism for the way it addresses autism, particularly because the autistic character Laurence is portrayed by a puppet.
However, earlier this year she argued: “I understand people’s concerns, but I do urge people to come and see the play first before they judge.”

Love Island’s Joanna Chimonides won’t give Michael Griffiths another chance

OHMYGOSSIP — Joanna Chimonides won’t give Michael Griffiths another chance now he’s left ‘Love Island’.
The 27-year-old firefighter had hoped for another chance with the 22-year-old model after both he and Francesca Allen got booted from the villa on Sunday (21.07.19).
However Joanna – who had previously insisted he would only get one strike – appeared on ‘This Morning’ and said: “I’ve had time and a few days to adjust. It is what it is. I can’t do anything about it. For me that’s my strike two.”
Joanna has had time to adjust since leaving the ITV2 dating show, and she was upset by him trying to win back Amber Gill after he insisted during their time on the show that there was nothing to worry about.
She admitted she is “confused” by Michael’s actions, as and added: “I am just confused. I don’t know what he feels. I think it’s hard to say is a liar… because it is what he is feeling [but] everyone is confused with that he is feeling.”
The pair had an awkward reunion during last night’s episode of spin off show ‘Aftersun’ with host Caroline Flack, and Joanna described it as a “weird” experience.
She said: “It was scary seeing him. I have only known what it is like to be with him in the villa. I was like, this is weird, I’m seeing you in real life.”
Joanna was dumped from the villa and left out in the cold as Michael decided to stay in, but he set his sights back on the model after his own exit.
When prompted, she insisted she wasn’t angry at Michael for not leaving the villa with her last week.
She said: “Initially I thought he would walk out with me. But then watching at home, I thought, ‘You can’t expect someone to end their journey for you’. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing.”

Kevin and Joanne Clifton touring the UK with Burn the Floor dance troupe

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin and Joanne Clifton will tour the UK together in 2020.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ siblings – who have both won the BBC’s ballroom competition in the past – have announced their plans to hit the road with the Burn the Floor company.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, Kevin said: “We are finally, after 30 years of having this dream of doing it, gonna go on tour together. Not only that, but we’re touring with a show called Burn the Floor.”
The show ‘Anything You Can Do’ comes from the dance company which started at Sir Elton John’s birthday party 20 years ago when a group of dancers performed and sparked big plans.
From there, the troupe has travelled around the world and become the world’s leading ballroom company, with a number of their members going on to star in ‘Strictly’ and US show ‘Dancing With The Stars’.
Kevin added: “I did a return tour with Burn the Floor this year and it just went down so well that I had all these messages saying ‘Are we gonna see Burn the Floor again? Are you gonna do it again next year?’ – which hadn’t been the plan initially but then Joanne came and saw it.”
Joanne admitted she thought she was finished with dancing after leaving ‘Strictly’ two years ago, but her mind has been swayed.
She explained: “I went to watch it and I thought I was done with dancing after Strictly. Then I watched Burn the Floor and that was the first time in a while that I thought ‘you know what, I’d love to be in it.’
“I’ve always wanted to sing, but then I carried on with the dancing. I was in Italy and came back in 2014 to do ‘Strictly’ and at the same time I started training in singing and acting again so I could do musical theatre.”
Kevin and Joanne will be starring together next year alongside the cast of Burn the Floor in ‘Anything You Can Do’, competing against each other.

Chris Taylor and Harley Brash’s romantic date and tense scenes

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Taylor and Harley Brash enjoy a romantic date at a bakery – but a tense challenge puts a strain on their relationship.
The ‘Love Island’ pair – who shared a kiss on Sunday night’s (21.07.19) episode – enjoy their first proper date date together after Chris receives a text telling them to get ready to leave the villa.
During their time together, Chris admits: “Before I came in here, I said I was looking for someone who I could be best friends with. And I think you’re that person.”
Both Islanders discuss their love of mayonnaise, which leaves Chris thinking the pair have more in common than he thought, while Harley describes him a “grower”.
She explains: “I didn’t expect to like anyone in here. You’ve definitely been a grower. I feel so comfortable around you. That’s what I really need.”
The couple also host the ‘Sidebar of Shame’ challenge during Monday’s episode, which leaves several Islanders fuming.
The contestants have to read out tabloid headlines and fill in the blanks by guessing which person the stories refer to – but they illustrate their choice by pouring a drink over their pick.
During the task, Chris throws water over himself and India Reynolds, with the correct headline actually reading: “Love Island fans convinced Maura and Chris are meant to be together.”
Harley isn’t happy about the results of the challenge, and that her man thought the story was about him and India.
She rants: “[Chris] could have picked anyone! For him to have done that, it’s ridiculous. I understand it’s a game but it was his decision and it was who he thought were meant to be together and he decided to choose someone he used to like.”

Motsi Mabuse joins Strictly Come Dancing judging panel

OHMYGOSSIP — Motsi Mabuse has been confirmed as the new ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge.
The South African star – whose sister is ‘Strictly’ pro Oti Mabuse – has been announced as Dame Darcey Bussell’s replacement for the upcoming series of the BBC’s hugely popular ballroom competition and she will sit on the panel alongside Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli.
She said: “I am absolutely overjoyed to be joining the ‘Strictly’ judging panel. I have so much respect and admiration for the other three judges and hope to add my own bit of sparkle to the show. I can’t wait to get started!”
Motsi, 38, has been a judge on ‘Let’s Dance’ in Germany – having previously appeared in 2007 as a contestant – and she is both a former South African Champion and German Latin Champion in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
Charlotte Moore, director of BBC Content, added: “Motsi is a brilliant addition to the show. She is a wonderful dancer in her own right and already has years of experience as a judge under her belt. We’re all looking forward to welcoming her to the ‘Strictly’ family.”
And the show’s executive producer Sarah James praised Motsi’s “energy and passion for dance” as she opened up on the new appointment.
She said: “I am incredibly excited that Motsi Mabuse is joining the show. Motsi’s natural warmth, energy and passion for dance makes her the perfect addition to our esteemed judging panel.”
Motsi’s younger sister Oti, 28, has been paired with Anthony Ogogo, Danny Mac, Jonnie Peacock and Graeme Swann over her own ‘Strictly’ career as a pro, while earlier this year she also appeared on the panel of Beeb show ‘The Greatest Dancer’ alongside fellow captains Matthew Morrison and Cheryl.

Jordan Hames’ head turned by India Reynolds

OHMYGOSSIP — Jordan Hames’ head has been turned by India Reynolds.
The ‘Love Island’ star is currently coupled up with Anna Vakili on the ITV2 reality show, but admitted during Monday’s (22.07.19) episode that he’s started to “sit back and think” about whether Anna is the one for him, after finding himself “looking forward” to having conversations with model and vegan chef India.
Curtis Pritchard asked Jordan: “What’s up bro? I feel something’s on your mind.”
To which the 24-year-old model explained: “I feel like over the past couple of days I’ve had a few good conversations with India. I’m finding myself looking forward to like, bumping into her in the villa and having a conversation with her. And like … it’s just made me sit back and think, you know?”
India is currently paired with 28-year-old basketball player Ovie Soko, but their romance hit a bump in the road during the episode, when a brutal challenge left Ovie questioning her intentions.
The islanders were tasked with filling in the blanks of headlines about the contestants, one of which read: “Love Island fans accuse India of only liking Ovie to win the £50k.”
And the sports star later expressed his worries about the headline to his best friend Amber Gill.
He said: “As an athlete, people use you … a lot.”
But Amber stuck up for India, as she told Ovie: “From my point of view, she seems like a nice girl. I don’t get that vibe from her.”
And whilst Jordan’s head might have been turned, India may not be so easily swayed away from Ovie, as she insisted to her pals Belle Hassan and Harley Brash that she genuinely likes her partner.
She said: “I’m more upset for Ovie. I don’t want him to think that about me or for him to have any doubt in his mind about me. I like him.”
‘Love Island’ continues Tuesday (23.07.19) at 9pm on ITV2.

Leonardo DiCaprio feels ‘lucky’ to have a good career

OHMYGOSSIP — Leonardo DiCaprio feels “lucky” to have been acting for so long.
The 44-year-old actor has a glittering career behind him and he admits he feels blessed to have had so many good acting roles.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of his new movie ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’, he said: “This is a rare sort of occurrence. Hollywood’s changing in a lot of ways. This is an art film that’s a throwback to different type of filmmaking. And to sit back and look at [my past self] and be able to say that I’m able to still do this and be a part of a film like this, it’s pretty humbling. I feel lucky, is what I feel. I feel lucky to be an actor who’s been able to work this long.”
DiCaprio previously branded his fame as “fleeting”.
He said: “My attitude is the same as when I started. When I talk to these two guys, it’s like, we know we were given that one shot and we do not want to disrespect that opportunity, which is why we’re just trying the damn best we can to make the best things we can. Because we understand that it is fleeting. Tastes change; culture changes. And I feel very blessed to have gotten that ticket to be able to do movies. So I feel very connected to that fifteen-year-old kid who got his first movie. And that hasn’t changed.”

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck to co-star in ‘The Last Duel’

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are teaming up for a new movie.
The ‘Good Will Hunting’ writers and actors are set to star in ‘The Last Duel’, about warriors in 14th century France, which will be directed by Sir Ridley Scott.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the duo will adapt Eric Jager’s book ‘The Last Duel: A True Story of Crime, Scandal, and Trial by Combat in Medieval France’ for the big screen, along with Nicole Holofcener.
The book tells the real-life story of two French knights and best friends, who become enemies after one returns home from the war and accuses the other of raping his wife.
The pair are sentenced to duel to the death where if the accuser loses, his wife will be found guilty of falsely accusing his best friend and will be burned at the stake.
Along with writing and starring, Matt, 48, and Ben, 46, are also producing the movie through their Pearl Street Films production company.
This will be the first movie that Matt and Ben have written and starred in together since the Oscar-winning 1997 movie ‘Good Will Hunting’, which propelled them both to Hollywood fame.
Matt previously revealed he and Ben wanted to star on screen together again but simply did not have the time.
He explained: “The big issue is time for us. We have a company together so we work on a lot of projects together, but to try to carve out the time is really tough.
“I would never say never. I’d love to be in one of his movies that he directs. The problem there is that he just keeps giving himself the best roles, so until he stops doing that and maybe just directs, none of us can really work with him.”

Tommy Fury to earn £100k outside Love Island villa

OHMYGOSSIP — Tommy Fury is set to earn £100,000 when he leaves the ‘Love Island’ villa.
The professional boxer – who is currently coupled up with Molly-Mae Hague on the ITV2 dating show – is reportedly set to rake in an impressive £5000 an hour with a series of club appearances following his departure from the infamous villa.
A source told The Sun Online: “Tommy Fury is set to cash in over £100K between next month and New Year’s Eve. He’s attending numerous night club PAs up and down the country. He’s been the most popular booking for all the clubs as they know he will pull in all the young female fans. But Tommy won’t come cheap and is charging £5K for an hour. He has 20 confirmed between now and the end of 2018.”
Tommy’s famous brother Tyson Fury previously advised his sibling against appearing on ‘Love Island’ as he was worried the 20-year-old might get “carried away being a reality TV star” rather than concentrate on his boxing.
He said: “I thought, he’s a good looking lad. He might get carried away being a TV reality star rather than a fighting man – and it’s the last thing he needs to do when he’s trying to become a professional fighter. I said, ‘Nah, it won’t be a good idea that, you’ll mess up what you’re doing in your career. You’re on a roll, keep with boxing.'”
However, Tyson now thinks it was a “good move” of Tommy’s to join the show, because more people will want to see him box.
He added: “He’s got more of a following than if he would’ve had 40 professional fights. So I think it’s a very good move. People will want to come and see him fight.”

Megan Barton-Hanson says women are better lovers than men

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Barton-Hanson says women are better lovers than men.
The former ‘Love Island’ bombshell – who is currently dating ‘TOWIE’s Demi Sims after coming out as bisexual last month – has revealed that she finds women more “attentive” in bed.
Speaking to The Daily Star, Megan, 25, said: “I have experience with men and women and women are definitely better lovers. They are more attentive. They want to please the other person. Men are happy as long as they are having a good time.”
And Megan says her partners have no complaints about her performances between the sheets.
She said: “I’d say I’m pretty good in bed. I’ve had my fair share of practice.”
And Megan insisted she would never fake an orgasm.
She said: “I would never fake an orgasm. I’d explain, ‘Hun, you need to do this, this and this. You’re not going to sleep just because you’re done’.
“For me part of the enjoyment is to please the other person. I want them to have a good time too. It might be a bit awkward at the time but you’re better off saying it.”
Megan has joined forces with Ann Summers for the company’s Orgasm Gap Manifesto campaign and she is passionate about encouraging women to be more open about their desire for sex.
She said: “Women should not be missing out on orgasms when having sex compared to men and the Ann Summers manifesto and Pleasure Positivity Project will help address this.
“The problem is that women often fear they will be labelled for admitting they enjoy sex too, so I’m passionate about empowering women and engaging men in this conversation to encourage a more open conversation around our sexual desires.”

Mikey North having a daughter with wife Rachael Isherwood

OHMYGOSSIP — Mikey North is having a daughter with wife Rachael Isherwood.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actor – who plays Gary Windass on the cobbles – has revealed the loved up couple are expecting their second child together and their two-year-old son Archie already chosen a name for their unborn baby girl.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Mikey said: “We’ve just moved house and put the name on the wallpaper that Rachael has chosen. Archie wouldn’t let us call her anything else anyway, so he partly chose the name.”
And after Rachael struggled with her first pregnancy, the 32-year-old soap star admitted they probably won’t have more children after their daughter is born.
He added: “I remember Rach insisting, ‘I’m not having any pain relief,’ and then about six hours in, she’s like, ‘Give me everything!’
“I would be highly surprised if we had any more. Two is a great number.”
Meanwhile, Mikey pledged his future to ‘Corrie’ earlier this month as bosses want his alter ego Gary to be a “long-term villain” and more of an “anti-hero” than classic killer Pat Phelan (Connor McIntyre) after admitting he was responsible for the death of Rana Habeeb (Bhavna Limbachia), who died when the Underworld factory roof collapsed on top of her.
He recently said: “Our producer Iain MacLeod says this is by no means an exit storyline.
“Obviously producers come and go, but Iain has specified this is not planned as Gary’s exit and they want to keep him as a long-term villain, more of an anti-hero than in the Pat Phelan mould.”
Gary has also bumped off evil loan shark Rick Neelan (Greg Wood), and Mikey has teased his alter-ego’s “increasingly calculated side” will come out soon.
He added: “Saying that he has become more calculated because he’s had to, although he hasn’t killed in cold blood so far.
“With the factory roof he wasn’t intending to kill, it was financial desperation. Then Rick was trying to kill him so he defended himself. That increasingly calculated side to Gary will come out.”
