OHMYGOSSIP — Taron Egerton would “love” to take over from Hugh Jackman as Wolverine but he has no idea what Disney have planned for the character.
The 29-year-old actor has been linked to the role of the adamantium claw-wielding mutant, made famous on the big screen by Hugh Jackman in several movies.
Since Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox – who owned the rights to Marvel’s ‘X-Men’ – speculation has been rife that those comic book characters will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Disney also owns Marvel, and Taron is ready to suit up as Wolverine but he doesn’t know how “realistic” his chances are.
Speaking to Variety, Taron said: “I love Marvel and I love the movies and I’d love the excuse to get in shape, I’d love to be a part of it, whether [Wolverine] is realistic or not, I don’t know.”
Taron has been backed to play Wolverine by his ‘Rocketman’ co-star Jamie Bell insisting a superhero role is the “natural next step” for the British actor.
He said: “He can play Elton John, why not? It’s the natural next step. I’m sure he’d love to. Taron’s great. Working with Taron, I’m not entirely sure what he can’t do, so I’m sure he could probably do it – another string to his bow, as it were.”
It is not the first time the ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ star has addressed rumours that he would be taking on the part.
He previously said: “I think it is just a rumour. As far as I’m aware it’s unfounded. I don’t know if I’m quite grisly enough.
“I mean if the people at Marvel think I am then great, let’s go. But I think there are probably better candidates. But I would love to be involved with that world somewhere.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Angela Bassett hasn’t seen ‘Avengers: Endgame’ because it’s too long.
The 60-year-old actress starred in the acclaimed Marvel superhero film ‘Black Panther’ as Dowager Queen Ramonda, mother of the titular hero, and despite making an appearance in this year’s hugely-successful blockbuster Angela confessed that she hasn’t managed to find the time to watch the blockbuster which runs for three hours and two minutes.
Speaking to EW Live, she said: “It’s three hours long, right? I haven’t seen it. Wait a minute, it is going to be on the plane. Oh my god, carve out three hours? ”
When asked whether she knew what happened in the movie, she said: “I kind of do, I was there, I know where it is up in there and how it plays out.”
The ‘American Horror Story’ star went on to explain that although she hasn’t watched the movie her 13-year-old twin sons Slater and Bronwyn – who she has with husband Courtney B. Vance – have filled her in on the plot of the film and have seen it twice because they love it so much.
She said: “They’ve seen it twice, I’m like, ‘Y’all have fun. I’m just gonna relax and chill at home, thanks. Tell me all about it.’
“They tell me, ‘You always fall asleep in the movies, ma’, then I wake up and I got, like, the general gist of what happened. And the bad guys went down and the good guys solved it and it’s all good, right? OK!”

OHMYGOSSIP — A ‘Peaky Blinders’ festival is coming to Birmingham in September.
The show’s creator Steven Knight has co-curated ‘The Legitimate Peaky Blinders Festival’ which will feature a Q&A with him, appearances by cast members and other special guests and live music.
Announcing the event, Steven said: “We will be celebrating in Birmingham style and everyone from around the world is invited.
“Expect the unexpected, expect 1919 to come crashing into 2019 and, be assured, everything is officially by order of the Peaky Blinders…”
The festival will take place on September 14 and September 15 and it will celebrate the impact the BBC drama has had on TV viewers across the world.
Festival goers can expect immersive theatre, live music, fashion inspired by the show, cinema showings, a museum, food, drinks, and way more.
Primal Scream, Anna Calvi and Slaves will all be performing live and The Streets star Mike Skinner will be playing a special DJ set on the two days.
Confirming the event, the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Mohammed Azim, said: “I am so excited that this amazing ‘Peaky Blinders’ festival is being hosted here in our great city as a tribute to the polished BBC series, set on the streets of post-war Birmingham, which has captivated audiences worldwide.
“The show has brought Birmingham into the spotlight; gripping and beautifully shot, it has gained national attention and I am particularly pleased to hear that ‘Peaky Blinders’ is coming home.”
‘Peaky Blinders’ boasts an incredible cast which includes the likes of Cillian Murphy, Helen McCrory, Joe Cole and Tom Hardy and follows the exploits of the Shelby crime family in 20th century Birmingham.
The drama – which will be moving from BBC Two to BBC One when series five airs – has won a host of awards since it began including the Best Drama Series prize at the BAFTA Television Awards.

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Doctor Who’ is to stream exclusively in America on HBO Max when the new service launches next year.
WarnerMedia Entertainment has announced that the company has reached an agreement with BBC Studios to make all 11 seasons of the sci-fi show since it was relaunched in 2005 available to subscribers.
As well as ‘Doctor Who’, HBO Max will also stream Ricky Gervais’ comedy ‘The Office’, detective drama ‘Luther’ starring Idris Elba and motoring series ‘Top Gear’.
Confirming the deal to secure ‘Doctor Who’, HBO Max chief content officer Kevin Reilly said: “‘Doctor Who’ is one of television’s all-time, most beloved series, on both sides of the pond, and we are happy to be the exclusive streaming stewards for this BBC gem. Another series to further define the high-quality content experience consumers can expect from HBO Max.”
Nigel Gaines, interim president of BBC Studios – Americas, added: “As any ‘Doctor Who’ fan knows, the iconic TARDIS is ‘bigger on the inside’ – and it’s a good thing because the TARDIS is about to welcome a whole new slew of fans coming to the show through this deal with HBO Max.
“HBO Max’s ambitious content line-up is the perfect complement to the ‘Doctor Who’ global franchise, in addition to some of our most award-winning and game-changing UK dramas and comedies.”
HBO Max is building up an impressive library of original and third party content ahead of its launch next spring which includes the ‘Gossip Girl’ sequel series and Greg Berlanti thriller ‘The Flight Attendant’ and there will be extensive films and shows from the Warner Bros., DC Comics, CNN, TNT, TBS, truTV, The CW and HBO library.
‘Doctor Who’ currently stars Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor and filming is underway on Season 12 – the second series from current showrunner Chris Chibnall – of the sci-fi programme.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bob Mortimer Paul Whitehouse feel humbled that their TV series ‘Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing’ has helped save people’s lives.
The two comedians have both had heart operations and their mutual experience led to them launching their BBC Two programme which shows them travelling the UK visiting various angling spots and also discussing how they can stay healthy.
Bob – who underwent a triple bypass in 2015 as 95 per cent of his arteries were blocked – has been stunned by the response to the programme and the volume of letters and messages he’s received from fans telling him, and Paul, that their experiences have prevented them or their loved ones from having heart attacks.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Bob, 60, said: “I get hundreds and hundreds of, I suppose, thank yous, ‘Thank you, I’ve just had the operation, and it was great to see there’s life after it.’ Or, you know, ‘Thank you, because of the show we made our dad go and get checked and it turns out he needs a bypass.’ ”
Paul, 61, had three stents fitted in his heart 12 years ago and he admits as an “old cynic” he’s also been touched by the fans’ reaction to the show.
He said: “We get people saying, ‘Thanks for the laughs’, but it’s very different when you get people coming up and saying, ‘Thanks, my dad watched your show, and as a result I made him go and get his heart checked.’ It’s been very rewarding for a couple of old cynics.”
The second series begins at 8pm on BBC Two on Friday night (02.08.19) and in one episode the two comics visit the surgeon who performed Bob’s triple bypass.
Speaking about the meet-up, ‘The Fast Show’ star Paul said: “We re-enact it to an extent with Bob’s surgeon in one of the episodes, and he says, ‘I took your heart out and stopped it.’ So basically killed him because they have to stop the heart in order to do the bypass surgery. It was a shame he started it again really, isn’t it? Bet he regrets it now.”
The re-enactment has Bob lying on a pub table with the surgeon explaining how he performed the surgery.
In the new series they go after wild brown trout on the River Usk in Wales and the elusive pike on Loch Erne in Northern Ireland.
They will also be searching for grayling, known as the “lady of the river”, in Yorkshire and carp in Essex.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ray Quinn has been branded a racist after playing far-right extremist Jonny Baxter in ‘Hollyoaks’.
The 30-year-old actor admitted he has been abused by people in the street who have confused him with his character and he was once almost refused service in a coffee shop after being confused for a racist.
Speaking to ‘Good Morning Britain’ hosts Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins, Ray explained: “I’ve had a couple of [abusive comments] from people in the street.
“I was in a coffee shop one time and I was asking for a coffee and the lady said, ‘Oh don’t serve him he’s racist’. And I had to sort of elaborate on the story to tell the geezer who was serving me, ‘I’m not, I’m playing one in ‘Hollyoaks’!’ I had to reassure him and he was like, ‘Sorry mate, don’t watch it’.”
Although the role has led to some real-life abuse, Ray admitted he has loved the challenge of playing such a vile character.
He said: “As an actor, it’s more of a challenge for anyone to be in such a storyline like this, but the challenge to be the nasty guy, for me playing Jonny, there’s so much more choice as far as acting is concerned. Tackling the storyline that’s very challenging, very controversial.”
The current ‘Hollyoaks’ storyline sees Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) being groomed by Baxter’s far-right organisation and co-star Rishi Nair, whose character Sami Maalik is targeted by the thugs, admitted he has been the subject of racism in his own life.
He said: “Luckily I grew up in London where I haven’t had a lot of racism, having said that growing up as a brown person in this country I have. Mostly when I was younger growing up in London and on the football pitch mainly. Sunday league football. So when I started this, I could kind of use that… when you start experiencing racism as a kid, it’s that thing where when someone says something to you on the street, you second guess yourself like, ‘did that happen? Maybe I’m overthinking it and it’s not happening’.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stuart McGugan has criticised the decision to remake ‘Dad’s Army’, branding it “cultural vandalism”.
The 75-year-old actor played a soldier in one episode of the World War II sitcom – which ran from 1968 to 1977 and starred Arthur Lowe as Captain George Mainwaring in charge of the Home Guard – and he has voiced his dismay that TV channel Gold has recreated three episodes of the classic BBC sitcom, which were lost from the archive, with a new cast.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “To make a new ‘Dad’s Army’ and pump nothing new into it, which will be the case, is cultural vandalism. They could be spending that money on new drama, given that there’s not been a lot of very interesting new comedy on recently.”
The trio of storylines, titled ‘The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Walker’, ‘A Stripe for Frazer’ and ‘Under Fire’, have been remade to mark 50 years since their broadcast and Gold has chosen to stay true to writers Jimmy Perry and David Croft’s original scripts.
The cast list boasts a host of major names with Kevin McNally portraying Captain Mainwaring, Robert Bathurst as Sergeant Wilson, Bernard Cribbins as Private Godfrey, Kevin Eldon as Lance Corporal Jones, Mathew Horne as Private Walker, David Hayman as Private Frazer and Tom Rosenthal as Pike.
The ‘It Ain’t Half Hot Mum’ star believes rebooting classic comedies like ‘Are You Being Served?’ and ‘Porridge’ is counterproductive and says writers should be focused on creating new programmes.
Stuart said: “It shows a lack of talent to write and a lack of courage to make new stuff. I think it’s shameless, absolutely shameless.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent admits the changes her body has gone through during pregnancy have been “overwhelming” at times.
The 27-year-old actress – who has played Sophie Webster on the ITV soap since 2004 – is expecting her first child with her footballer boyfriend Kean Bryan and she openly admits she has “struggled” at times as her bump has grown with the side-effects and also the pressure of seeing other expectant mothers seemingly breezing through the trimesters if their social media accounts are to be believed.
Posting on her Instagram stories, she said: “I really struggled and still do with the day-to-day changes of pregnancy and I want people to know that as much as it’s nice to hear such lovely comments about my pictures that they are professional or I’ve been stood there for 10 mins trying to get a good picture!”
“Pregnancy can be so overwhelming especially when you don’t feel amazing and see girls on Instagram looking like they are breezing through it!
“With the pressure of social media, and the natural worries of growing a baby I just want to let you know that I feel ya!!! (sic)”
Brooke’s empowering post comes after the soap star previously opened up about how pregnancy has removed some of her previous body hang-ups, as she admitted it now takes her up to an hour to find something to wear because of her big bump.
She said: “It’s very strange having pictures taken and not breathing in because you’re so used to doing it and standing a certain way.
“I think people underestimate how pregnancy makes you feel or how much you change. Your entire body changes. It’s a whole new experience but it’s nice having the challenge to find things that fit.
“Sometimes it takes me an hour to find something to wear.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Maura Higgins has landed a guest-presenter role on ‘This Morning’.
The 28-year-old model proved such a hit with viewers during her time in the ‘Love Island’ villa that ITV producers have hired her to host her own phone-in advice slot and the segment ‘Maura Than Meets the Eye’, in which she will take on challenges across the country.
Maura told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I’m getting flutters about joining ‘This Morning’. I can’t believe it. It’s beyond my wildest dreams.
“I’ve grown up watching Phillip [Schofield], Holly [Willoughby], Eamonn [Holmes], Ruth [Langsford] and the team. Mad to think I’m now part of that iconic family. Can’t wait to crack on.”
‘This Morning’ editor Martin Frizell said: “Maura was the stand out star of this year’s villa antics with her straight-talking opinionated views.”
Meanwhile, it was previously claimed that Maura is in line to earn millions within months of leaving the ‘Love Island’ villa.
The brunette beauty was one of the star attractions on this year’s edition of the hit show and, according to showbiz agent Dermot McNamara, Maura, her boyfriend Curtis Pritchard and Tommy Fury can all expect to see their bank balance swell after their stints on the programme.
He said: “It’s the standout characters who have the biggest earning potential. Maura has emerged a bit of a feminist heroine so it’s likely she’ll be offered a lot of TV work.
“Tommy will do very well. He can make the most of his boxing background while also doing more reality TV. And he can do some projects with Molly-Mae Hague for as long as they’re a couple.
“Curtis already has a fanbase in Ireland, which he can build on. And everyone adores Ovie Soko, so he’ll do well too.”
Dermot said money-spinning offers will soon start rolling in for some of the ‘Love Island’ contestants.
He said: “Those who already have representation will come out to find they have plenty of work already arranged.

OHMYGOSSIP — Guillermo Del Toro was “really excited” to work on ‘Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark’.
The filmmaker worked as a producer and writer on the upcoming horror movie – which is based on the children’s book of the same name by Alvin Schwartz – and has said he was keen to take on the challenge as soon as production company CBS Films approached him.
He said: “When CBS Films approached me about doing this movie, I was really excited. They’d done two screenplays before, but I said, ‘Let’s start from scratch’. I have this idea that’s very relevant to today. It’s an interesting way to see how stories shape who we are; about how once you release a story, you can’t get it back. Stories are like toothpaste: once it’s out, you can’t put it back in. We tried to set it in a relevant time. A time in which lies, or stories, were being told to the USA and we were engaged in a war we didn’t understand. That’s why we chose 1968 – 1969 as a perfect period to set the story.”
Guillermo also admits setting the story in the 60s allowed him and director André Øvredal to play with the horror elements of the plot, as modern technologies such as cell phones and Google would make the characters less isolated from the world.
Speaking to SFX magazine, he said: “I think there’s a huge amount of people telling stories about right now. Huge! But I think there’s beauty in holding an oblique mirror. What were the conditions like back in 1969? Very different, so instead of cellphones, we give them walkie-talkies. They can still communicate, but they can’t Google and they can’t call 911 from the street.
“But the dynamics that we’re portraying in the movie are very much right now. It’s about the destructive power of gossip and the fact that gossip can wreck a life very casually.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Warner Bros told Milo Ventimiglia he was “too old” to play Batman.
The 42-year-old actor was hoping to take over the role of the caped crusader from Ben Affleck but lost out on the role to Robert Pattinson, who is nine years younger than him.
Speaking on Variety’s ‘The Big Ticket’ podcast, Milo said: “Do I see myself in a cape and cowl? Warner Bros. didn’t. They were looking for a new Batman and they said, ‘Ventimiglia, you’re too old.’
“That’s OK, it doesn’t matter. I’m kind of busy, it’s OK.”
And the experience appears to have put Milo off auditioning for any more superhero movies.
The ‘This Is Us’ actor said: “The superhero world? Maybe I’m just playing real-life superheroes right now. Jack Pearson, Denny Swift. They’re real attainable superheroes, that are out there in the open representing good guys and good fathers.”
However, Milo was happy to give his opinion on who the best Batman of all time was.
He said: “[Christian Bale], I think, was a killer Batman, but also I think he was an incredible Bruce Wayne. I see the benefits of George Clooney, and Val Kilmer and Ben Affleck.”
Warner Bros. were reportedly torn between the Robert and Nicholas Hoult to portray the legendary character but decided on the former ‘Twilight’ star to replace Ben Affleck in ‘The Batman’ – which is slated for release in 2021.
Reeves took over ‘The Batman’ directing duties from Affleck – who also stepped down from the role as the titular character in January – and he will produce the motion picture with Dylan Clark.
And producer Michael E Uslan is thrilled with Robert’s casting.
He said: He said: “I couldn’t be happier, I couldn’t be more enthused, as a Batman fan, that Matt Reeves is the filmmaker in charge and has selected Robert Pattinson to be his next Batman.
“I think the real key question for fans, and for all of us to focus on, is the filmmaker.
“My position is this: trust the filmmaker and give the filmmaker, and the filmmaker’s vision, the benefit of the doubt. Then wait ’til you see the movie.
“And then once you see the movie, judge the hell out of it. But I think that’s really the formula going forward.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Peaky Blinders’ creator Stephen Knight wants to cast Vicky McClure in the show.
After the ‘Line of Duty’ actress, 35, revealed she has unsuccessfully auditioned for every series of the BBC show, Stephen, 60, insisted he would love to find a part for her.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, he said: “I was surprised. I’ve worked with her and I think she is brilliant. She would be great.”
Vicky – who first found fame starring as Lol in Shane Meadows’ ‘This Is England’ – previously spoke out about her ‘Peaky Blinders’ rejection.
She said: “I’ve auditioned for every series of ‘Peaky Blinders’ and never got it. Although work is regular, it doesn’t always go my way.”
And she has also admitted that she thought she’d ruined her chances at the role of DC Kate Fleming in ‘Line of Duty’ after giving a “terrible” audition.
She said: “It was a terrible audition, I remember it because I went to get my water and I missed my mouth and I was like ‘If I can’t even take a drink, how are they going to trust me with a massive cop show?'”
The ‘This Is England’ star went on to explain that she finds the auditioning process “daunting” and compared it to “re-interviewing for a job”.
She said: “I find them really daunting, I still do. I go for auditions now and it’s like re-interviewing for a job that you’ve been doing for so long.”
Vicky is pleased that she now gets offered roles thanks to her impressive filmography, but says she still sympathises with rising stars who have to prove themselves in an intimidating environment.
She said: ” It’s hard because you go ‘Just watch my previous work’ and for those who are new to the acting game, it’s great that you’ve got this opportunity but sometimes you’re in front of strangers, they’re sat behind a table, it’s not a very inviting environment sometimes and in order for you to do your best work, you need to feel quite relaxed. It’s tricky, it’s part and parcel of the job, it’s a necessary evil.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Winter ‘Love Island’ bosses are on the hunt for “twins, goth girls and Essex lads”.
The ITV2 dating show is set to air twice-a-year from 2020, with the winter series set in South Africa after Christmas, and producers are already on the hunt for contestants.
One guy, who was approached by show bosses at a Spanish pool party, told The Sun newspaper: ”
“I was asked if I was single and they showed me credentials from ITV2.
“I was a bit nervous about giving my name so they then showed me an email where they’d been asked to find ‘types’. On there, it listed twins, goth girls and Essex lads.”
An insider added: “It’s no secret that contestants for the show come through a lot of different channels.
“As well as tens of thousands of people applying through ITV’s website this year, the show accepts contestants put forward by talent scouts and agents, and producers approach people on social media too.”
While the ITV2 show will move to a brand new villa in South Africa for a winter sun version of the show, the summer series will return to Europe later in the year as usual.

OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Moh says Quentin Tarantino’s knowledge of Bruce Lee on ‘Once Upon a Time In Hollywood’ was “unbelievable”.
The acclaimed director’s ninth movie is set in Hollywood in 1969 and follows fading Western star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) and features appearances from real-life famous figures of the time such as Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie), Charles Manson (Damon Herriman ) and martial arts icon Lee (Moh).
Mike, 35, explained that the ‘Pulp Fiction’ director knows “so much” about “every single movie ever made” by Lee and revealed that upon meeting the pair spent half an hour chatting about the legendary actor where he realised how “important Bruce was to him personally”.
In an interview with Collider, he said: “[Tarantino] is a massive Bruce Lee fan and he knows so much about every single movie ever made. It’s unbelievable, actually.
“I remember the first time I met him when I auditioned for him. We just talked Bruce [Lee] for like 20 to 30 minutes.
“After I met him, I just felt how important this was to him and how important Bruce was to him personally and to this film.”
The ‘Inhumans’ star – who is a fifth-degree black belt in American Taekwondo – went on to open up about what inspired him to explore martial arts and credited Lee’s 1973 action film ‘Enter The Dragon’ as what ” busted the door wide open”.
He said: “Starting from when I was a kid and the first kung fu movie that got me like hooked before I even started martial arts was ‘Rumble In The Bronx’s’ – Jackie Chan and that was kind of my introduction
“Then I saw ‘Enter The Dragon’ and that busted the door wide open it was like a worm hole not only to Bruce Lee but also to martial arts.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jim Carrey has shared his concerns about fans forcing a ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ character redesign.
Following criticism – which took aim at Sonic’s human teeth and bizarre looking calf muscles – after the first trailer dropped, Paramount pulled the film from its release schedule in order to redesign the character and Jim admitted he had his own worries about the drama.
Speaking at TCA panel for his Showtime series ‘Kidding’, Jim – who plays villain Robotnik – said: “I don’t know quite how I feel about the audience being in on the creation of it, while it’s happening. Sometimes you find that the collective consciousness decides it wants something and then when it gets it, it goes, ‘OK, I don’t want it’… You become a Frankenstein’s monster at some point, right?”
Meanwhile, film director and visual effects artist Tim Miller, who is executive producing the live-action film based on the blue hedgehog from the iconic video game franchise, previously said it was important to “listen” to the fans.
He said: “This is a franchise, and it has to be great. Look, I was with fans and so was Jeff [Fowler, the movie’s director]. When the s**t hit the fan, I went over there and said, ‘The most important thing to do, man, is say, I f***ed up.’ He’d already sent a tweet out an hour before I got there. He’s a good man. It was exactly the right way to handle that. The fans have a voice in this too. There’s a right way to listen.”
And Miller believes the new design will please fans.
When asked if he’s seen the new look, he said: “In fact I have. And I think the fans will be pleased.”
Following the need for a redesign, the movie – which stars Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic – has been pushed back to a February 2020 release.

OHMYGOSSIP — CBBC star Karim Zeroual is the latest star to sign up for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The TV presenter is the seventh celebrity to join the line-up of the ballroom-dance show and his participation was announced live on stage at the CBBC Summer Social on Saturday (03.08.19), where he was joined by professional dancer AJ Pritchard.
He said: “To be offered the chance to take part in Strictly is dumbfounding, I’m pinching myself…!
“I’m so excited to be Strictlified. I want the lot. The skimpiest of clothes, the widest of flares, the brightest of colours and the tallest Cuban heel a guy can find! The more flamboyant the better… sequins galore please!”
He added: “Honestly I’m speechless, it’s so overwhelming. I’m so excited, the biggest thing is I couldn’t wait to tell everyone.
“I did a bit of dancing like street dance, but nothing like ballroom or Latin, nothing like that.
“I found out a few weeks back, I got a phone call and I was all excited and I just got it, apparently they loved me! I’ve just been waiting to tell everyone, I’m genuinely overwhelmed.”
And Karim has insisted that he will continue to present CBBC while competing on ‘Strictly’.
He said: “I would not not do CBBC, I will still be presenting but also training really hard and having to learn what you do.”
Karim is the seventh person announced for this year’s line-up after Mike Bushell, Catherine Tyldesley, Saffron Barker, David James, Chris Ramsey and Emma Barton were confirmed this week.
