Amanda Holden enjoys taking risks with racy Britain’s Got Talent outfits

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Holden likes to “take risks” with her racy ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ outfits.
The 48-year-old star’s striking ensembles on the ITV programme have caught the eye of viewers and even drawn criticism from some fans, but the talent show judge has shrugged off Ofcom complaints as she explained her style.
She told MailOnline: “Of course I have fun on Britain’s Got Talent – it’s the perfect opportunity to take risks.
“Times have changed and I don’t feel anyone should feel pressure to dress for your age. It’s all about body positivity and feeling good.”
Amanda – who appears on the panel alongside Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and David Walliams – added her own family don’t mind when she steps out in an eye catching outfit, and she admitted her own age doesn’t even enter her mind.
She said: “I try not to think about age anymore when I’m dressing. My children don’t bat an eyelid at what I wear and love borrowing my clothes.”
Earlier this summer, the TV star revealed despite the backlash she relishes the attention and loves that there’s so much focus on her cleavage.
She previously laughed: “I love it that people are still talking about my tired old breasts and I’m nearly 50! No one talks about Alesha Dixon’s – she’s got great boobs by the way – and she’s eight years younger than me.”
Amanda is also proud that her outfits remain affordable to most of her fans.
She explained: “If someone asks me, I like to say, ‘This is from Zara’. If I admire someone’s outfit, I hate it when they say to me, ‘It’s Dolce! because even I go, ‘I’m not buying that – that’s the school fees!’ ”

Joe Wicks to be a dad again

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Wicks is expecting his second child with wife Rosie Jones.
The loved-up couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Indie, into the world in July, and in January the pair will found out if their little girl will become a big sister or brother, as they’ve chosen not to find out the sex of their unborn baby until he or she is born.
Alongside a picture of the couple proudly showing off Rosie’s bump, the fitness guru – who is also known as The Body Coach – wrote on Instagram: “Weeeeeee’re having another baby We are very happy and excited to grow our family We don’t know the sex and won’t find out but Rosie is now 19 weeks pregnant so Indie will be getting a little brother or sister in January (sic)”
The pair tied the knot just last month in a festival-style ceremony.
Speaking about their special day, Joe said: “It’s true when people say your wedding day goes by in a flash.
“We had the best day ever with our close family and friends. The venue was perfect, we were blessed with sunshine.
“We had fun fair rides, food trucks with our dream menu, a G&T bar & had gelato & frozen daqs for the win. The DJ was absolutely lit too. He kept the dance floor packed until 1am. Wish I could do it all over again.”
The 33-year-old hunk previously said he will always be “committed and loyal to Rosie and Indie” and now their new member of the family.
Speaking after he popped the question, the fitness coach – who has presented his own health-focused show on Channel 4 – said: “I asked Rosie to marry me and luckily she said yes It’s my goal in life to be committed and loyal to Rosie and Indie and always be there for them (sic)”
Joe and Rosie – who is a former glamour model – made a concerted effort to keep their relationship low-key since they started dating.
But the TV presenter previously described the brunette beauty as “the one”.
He shared: “She’s definitely the one. But some things you have to keep for yourself.”

Viola Davis’ daughter Genesis might follow in her footsteps and pursue acting

OHMYGOSSIP — Viola Davis’ nine-year-old daughter Genesis has hinted she would like to take up acting.
The Hollywood star’s little girl makes her major big screen debut in ‘Angry Birds Movie 2’ voicing Vivi, and she has opened up about the advice her Academy Award-winning mother has given her and whether she will follow in her footsteps.
On what tips the ‘Fences’ actress gave her, Genesis said on the red carpet at the premiere for the movie in Los Angeles: “She said, ‘No matter what people say, to keep moving forward.’ And I’m gonna take that advice.”
And quizzed on whether she is keen to continue her career as an actress after this role and a minor part in 2014’s James Brown biopic ‘Get On Up’ alongside her parent, Genesis – who was also joined at the movie’s launch by her father Julius Tennon – replied: “Maybe.”
‘How to Get Away With Murder’ star Viola, 54, previously revealed she is encouraging of her little girl’s ambition to enter her “terrific” profession, but is keen for her to complete her education and not to rush into things as she doesn’t want to choose the “lifestyle” for her only child’s future before she fully understands what it entails.
She said: “She says she wants to be an actress.
“[She says], “I gotta live the words, I gotta breath the words, I gotta remember the words,’ and I said, ‘Yeah and you also gotta go to school and get out of this house and pay your own rent.’…I just think this is a terrific profession. The work is fantastic, but the lifestyle? Eh. I don’t want to choose that for her at a young age.”

Rose McGowan to direct animated dog movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Rose McGowan is planning her feature-length directorial debut.
The 45-year-old actress previously directed short film ‘Dawn’ but revealed that she is turning to animation for her first full-length movie ‘Pomerania’, which will focus on “race, breed and classism”.
Rose told The Hollywood Reporter: “It’s about a little dog who hides in the closet, and once she comes out of the closet she becomes the queen of a land called Pomerania. And she’s at war with Muttlandia, where all the mutts are. So, it’s all about race, breed, classism — and it’s very funny.”
Rose is also collaborating on a psychological thriller called ‘Sleepwalk’, with ‘Dawn’ writers Joshua Miller and Mark Fortin.
She said: “It’s a very haunting story, about a young girl who sleepwalks a lot, and she blurs what is reality and what is false. It’s about how we all do that in our own lives.”
And Rose – who was one of the first people to accuse disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment when she alleged he had raped her at the Sundance film festival in 1997 – insisted she is finished with acting as she is still upset by the lack of support she has received in Hollywood.
She said: “People in Hollywood have not been brave enough to step up for me as I stepped up for them. Because I helped to clean out the system and they haven’t been brave in return. So, I do miss performing but I feel like acting is in the past, mostly because of the lack of support that I’ve gotten.”

Kym Marsh undergoes mammogram after feeling pain

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh underwent a mammogram after experiencing increasing “pain in her right breast”.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star, who had a breast enlargement from a B cup to a D cup 10 years ago, went along to the doctor to get herself checked out after her kids put pressure on her to do so, and fortunately “everything is fine”.
She said: “I’ve been experiencing pain in my right breast and it’s been getting worse, so the kids nagged me to go and get it checked out, saying I usually go to the doctor’s for a broken fingernail.
“Having breast implants can make checking a bit trickier, so I like to go every couple of years.
“I had a mammogram and I’m pleased to say everything’s fine.”
A specialist has reassured Kym that her implants are “fine”, and the cobbles favourite – who plays Michelle Connor on the ITV soap – says she “wouldn’t want to have them out”.
Writing in her OK! magazine column, she added: “My implants are 10 years old now and some people say you should get them replaced after a decade, but my specialist said mine are fine.
“If I was to have them done again, I think I’d go for the same size and shape, which reassures me that I made the right choice 10 years ago.
“I wouldn’t want to have them out.”
The 42-year-old star became a grandmother in May when her daughter Emilie Cunliffe gave birth, and the ‘Corrie’ star admitted five months earlier she had kick-started her anti-ageing process ahead of becoming a granny, after saying she wanted to “delay the ageing process” without having to turn to Botox.
In a tweet to Renovatio Clinic – which aims to restore someone’s body to its “natural beauty” via nonsurgical, laser and minimally-invasive procedures – Kym wrote: “amazing treatment today guys!! I’m excited about the results (sic)”

Universal pull The Hunt

OHMYGOSSIP — Universal have cancelled the release of ‘The Hunt’.
The satirical thriller – which starred Emma Roberts, Betty Gilpin, Hilary Swank, and Justin Hartley in a tale of everyday Republican-voting people being kidnapped and let loose to be hunted by rich liberal elites who pay for the privilege – was due to hit cinemas next month but the studio have now decided against bringing it out following recent mass shootings in Texas and Ohio.
A Universal Pictures spokesperson said: “While Universal Pictures had already paused the marketing campaign for ‘The Hunt’, after thoughtful consideration, the studio has decided to cancel our plans to release the film.
“We stand by our filmmakers and will continue to distribute films in partnership with bold and visionary creators, like those associated with this satirical social thriller, but we understand that now is not the right time to release this film.”
The decision to can the film came a few days after President Donald Trump slammed the movie as being designed to “inflame and cause chaos”.
Without naming ‘The Hunt’, he fumed on Twitter: “Liberal Hollywood is Racist at the highest level, and with great Anger and Hate! They like to call themselves “Elite,” but they are not Elite. In fact, it is often the people that they so strongly oppose that are actually the Elite. The movie coming out is made in order….
“….to inflame and cause chaos. They create their own violence, and then try to blame others. They are the true Racists, and are very bad for our Country!(sic)”
The studio have removed official YouTube links to the movie’s trailer and it is currently unclear whether it will be released in another format.

Julianne Moore inspired by family chats

OHMYGOSSIP — Julianne Moore’s movie choices are inspired by dinners with her parents.
The 58-year-old actress has said that the roles she takes have often been influenced by conversations she’s had with her military judge father and psychiatric social worker mother over the years.
She told CBS News: “I look back and I think about all the conversations that we had at dinner about who people are and why they did what they did. It’s fascinating to me. That’s what you’re always kind of looking at.”
Prolific Julianne – who has a back-catalogue of over 75 films – has no desire to lighten her workload anytime soon.
She added: “I always say that I’m industrious! I like to work. I love what I do. I’m like, ‘Oh my God, after all these years I’m still interested in doing this.’ But I am.”
And while she may be an Oscar-winning star, the ‘Hunger Games’ actress still worries about the fact the job offers will one day stop coming her way.
She said: “We are self-employed, you know? And talk to anybody who’s self-employed, the minute that job is over, you have to find another one. So, people always say, ‘Why do you worry that, you know, it’ll go away?’ And I always say, ‘Because it’s not unprecedented!’ ”
Julianne won an Academy Award on her fifth nomination for her work on ‘Still Alice’ in 2015 and though she had a good idea she would take the coveted Best Actress statuette, there was still a a part of her that feared being part of a “big upset”.
She said: “By the time you get to the Oscars, people generally know who’s going to win. That being said, I think it’s always hard, because you have to find a way to feel natural when it’s the least natural thing in the world.
“At that point I had won all of the awards up to that, so I remember somebody said to me, ‘If you’re not winning tonight, it’ll be the biggest upset in Academy history.’ And I thought, Please don’t let it be the biggest upset!”

Lee MacDonald’s EastEnders fate

OHMYGOSSIP — Lee MacDonald knew his ‘EastEnders’ stint was meant to be when he auditioned for the role in a room he had been in 34 years earlier for ‘Grange Hill’.
The 51-year-old actor is best known for starring as Zammo McGuire in the BBC school drama from 1982 to 1987, and he felt confident he would land the part of bus driver Terry due to the act of fate.
He said: “When I went for the audition for ‘EastEnders’ the reading was in the same room I was in in 1985, so it was like being back.”
Lee’s alter-ego Terry was initially involved in a confrontation with Danny Dyer’s character Mick Carter, and the star loved appearing opposite the ‘Football Factory’ actor, praising him as a “lovely guy”.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’, he added: “My dream job is ‘EastEnders’, it’s the job I’ve always wanted. And I love Danny, he’s such a lovely guy.”
Lee previously admitted Danny feared he might take an accidental whack from the former ‘Birds of a Feather’ actor when the pair were acting out their characters’ bust up.
He said: “It’s funny because when we did that scene, Danny said afterwards that he thought I was going to hit him.
“For Danny to say something like that is pretty cool! It’s because I was so serious.
“Not that I would ever punch him. Have you seen the size of him? He’s massive! I’m only tiny.
“I actually met my partner Jess on a dating site and lied about my height.
“When she turned up she was like, ‘You are not 5’7″. I was like this little dwarf, all 5’5 of me.”

Dani Dyer had therapy after Love Island

OHMYGOSSIP — Dani Dyer saw a psychiatrist after appearing on ‘Love Island’.
The 23-year-old star – who won the ITV2 dating show last year alongside her then-boyfriend Jack Fincham – was thrust into the spotlight after their victory, and admitted she “felt overwhelmed” as she praised the programme’s aftercare process.
She told the Sunday Telegraph newspaper’s Stella magazine: “It can be very tough, but everyone is different in the way they handle things.
“I had several calls from the producers, checking if I was OK. And a few weeks after the show, when I felt overwhelmed and said I needed to speak to someone, they put me in touch with a psychiatrist.”
Show bosses made changes to the aftercare regime following the tragic deaths of former Islanders Mike Thalassitis and Sophie Gradon, and last month it was reported the final eight contestants were set for one-on-one sessions with financial advisors and counsellors before returning to the outside world.
A source previously said: “Whereas the first day of freedom after the villa was historically a free-for-all, they are now making everyone stay put and have a ‘down day’ with bespoke sessions.
“There was a feeling they let them loose too soon and with not enough advice so they’re just changing it entirely this year.”
The villa favourites are said to have undergone a minimum of eight therapy sessions once they returned to the UK.
Before they headed to the villa, Islanders were given a 27-page contract and an aftercare form.
In the contract, they were warned the public may “quickly lose interest” in them if they become famous, and that the main goal of going on the show should be “to find love” rather than fame.

OHMYGOSSIP — Vicky Pattison feels “tired” and “bloated” after putting on weight.
The 31-year-old reality TV star has opened up about how parts of her lifestyle have “caught up” with her, and she’s hit a point where she doesn’t feel “comfortable” wearing a bikini.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “I have not stopped travelling, laughing, loving & working (if you can call what I do for a living that- I’m hardly down the mines.)
“I’ve eaten everything I wanted & drank cocktails like there were going out of fashion & I’ve LOVED every minute of it but it has definitely caught up with me.
“I’ve gained weight. I won’t wear a bikini- I’m a 1 piece kinda girl right now- I’m tired a lot, bloated, I’m avoiding going to places, I’m missing out on things I love because I’m not comfortable (sic)”
The former ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ winner – who became Queen of the Jungle in 2015 – insisted she has never been focused on her size or weight, but she admitted it’s now “starting to affect [her] quality of life”.
She added: “I won’t apologise for letting my hair down this year- I think after last year it was understandable- but I want to make some changes and I’m going to start now.
“I’ve neglected my training & my healthy eating has been sporadic at best but I’m keen to add more balance to my life now I have a little more time on my hands- I want to like what I see in the mirror & not live my life in fear of someone taking a picture of me.
“Don’t get me wrong, I am not giving up gin, hummus or haribos anytime soon as they’re wizard & I love them but I am planning on taking control, striking a balance and toning up these curves! Wish me luck lasses! (sic)”

Tom Allen to present The Apprentice You’re Fired

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Allen is to host ‘The Apprentice: You’re Fired’.
The 36-year-old comedian will take over from Rhod Gilbert after he stepped down from the role, and Tom cannot wait to get started in the hot seat on the BBC Two show.
He said: “I’m excited and humbled to be joining this wonderful, much loved show as host.
“I’m looking forward to analysing, satirising and, dare I say, celebrating the many ‘interesting’ choices the candidates make during their ‘Apprentice’ journey whilst gaining valuable insight into the business world.”
The self-confessed ‘Apprentice’ fan will be joined on the spin-off show by celebrity guests and business gurus each week to analyse the business show’s latest episode and see where it all went wrong for the axed contestant.
Rhod hosted the programme for three series from 2016 – after taking over from Jack Dee – but he quit the position due to tour commitments, and he has backed “brilliant” Tom to be a huge success on the show.
He said: “I’m back on the road after a seven year break, and with such a busy stand-up touring schedule, it’s time to hand over the reins of You’re Fired to someone else.
“The brilliant Tom Allen is going to smash it. In a good way.”
Kate Phillips, controller entertainment commissioning at the BBC, says: “I’d like to thank Rhod for his fantastic three years in the hot seat, but the show will be in very safe hands as Tom will bring audiences at home and in the studio his own unique take on the weekly tasks and what happens in the ‘Apprentice’ boardroom.”
‘The Apprentice’ and ‘The Apprentice: You’re Fired’ both return to the BBC later this year.

Katherine Ryans reconnects with childhood sweetheart

OHMYGOSSIP — Katherine Ryan reconnected with her first love while filming ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’.
The 36-year-old comic ran into her former childhood flame Bobby Kootstra in her hometown of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada while she was recording the BBC series, and she joked about the surgery she’s had after their chance meeting.
She’s quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: “During filming I went for a night out with my sister and bumped into my first love Bobby – we then dated for about a year when I was fifteen and then we split …
“I’m amazed he recognised me.”
After their pair’s reunion in January, Bobby moved in with Katherine and her daughter in London.
The TV star’s episode of the BBC One show – which sees famous faces delving into their family history – will air at 9pm on August 19.
In the past, Katherine – who moved to the UK from Canada almost a decade ago – has admitted she once dreamed of being able to afford a takeaway after being “properly poor” before finding fame.
Asked how she likes to treat herself, she replied: “Takeaway! I have takeaways almost every day. Which makes me feel guilty as a mum.
“But I counteract it with nice grocery deliveries. I have a tiny house, but hey, I’m happy with my middle class mum luxuries now. “I’ll take my £8 cherries from Ocado. If I lived in Canada I could afford a mansion straight out of college, but it’s different here.”
Katherine also admitted her comedy career simply “has to work”.
She explained: “If it all went away now, I’d want to study dermatology and burst people’s spots for a living. But the comedy has to work. It became urgent when Violet was born. I was poor. Proper Victorian poor.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tamzin Outhwaite is determined to “only eat plant-based food” from now on.
The ‘EastEnders’ actress has previously documented her decision to go alcohol and meat-free, and now after attending a body camp in Mallorca she is also trying to cut out sugar and dairy for “as long as possible”.
She wrote on Twitter: “Right this time I mean it… I return to London, only eating plant based food…no alcohol, no sugar, no dairy, no meat… please let’s make this last as long as possible… all down to you #thebodycampmallorca (sic)”
Tamzin – who is leaving the BBC One soap this autumn – recently admitted she was craving “stodgy carbs” after going four days without alcohol and sugar.
Last month, she wrote on Twitter: “Day 4 of no alcohol and no sugar and all I really want is stodgy carbs.
Dirty, fatty, heavy stodge. (sic)”
In response to her tweet, Tamzin’s former co-star Nitin Ganatra – who played Masood Ahmed on the show – joked: “I’m right here….. (sic)”
And she replied: “[laughing face emoji] you are more refreshing , zingy, light MANGO (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Walker’s character Brian O’Conner could return to the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise.
The late actor – who was tragically killed aged 40 in a car crash during production for the seventh film in the series six years ago – appeared in six of the adrenaline fueled blockbuster movies before his sad death, and his brothers Cody and Caleb stepped in to finish filming.
Now, Cody has told the Metro.co.uk: “You know there’s a lot of things that are said about the franchise, there’s a lot of rumours going around.
“I think anything is possible and we’ll see what the future has in store. There are a lot of things that are said out there.
“There’s a rumour that the franchise might go to outer space next, so you never know… Nothing is off the table, never say never.”
Filming for the ninth instalment in the big screen saga started in June as Nathalie Emmanuel – who joined as hacker Ramsey in the seventh film – took to Twitter to reveal the exciting news as she also teased returning cast members in emoji form.

It’s believed the first emoji is Vin Diesel (Dom), then Michelle Rodriguez (Letty), Tyrese Gibson (Roman Pearce), Jordana Brewster (Mia) and as the final two have laptops they are believed to be Nathalie and Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges’ (Tej).
Meanwhile, it was previously confirmed that former WWE champion John Cena has joined the cast.

Louise Minchin gets cool studio to cater for menopause

OHMYGOSSIP — The BBC has lowered the temperature in the ‘Breakfast’ studio for Louise Minchin to help with her hot flushes.
The 50-year-old TV presenter has opened up about her experiences of going through the menopause, and admitted the air con is on the “Louise setting” when she is working.
She told HELLO! magazine: “The studio is really cold now. We have the Louise setting’ on the air conditioning.”
The host recently completed the Norseman Xtreme Triathlon – which involves swimming 3,800m, cycling 180km and a 42km run – and admitted she feels more muscly than she did in her younger years.
She explained: “I certainly feel better and stronger than I did in my 20s, 30s and 40s. I might have wrinkles, but I’ve got muscles.”
Sky News broadcaster Kay, 58, has also opened up about her menopausal experiences, admitting some of her younger male colleagues feel “embarrassed” seeing she is “hot and bothered”.
She said: “I didn’t used to talk about it but the young boys in the office would get embarrassed and think, ‘Why is she so hot and bothered?’
“Now I just tell them, ‘Just having a power surge – it’ll be gone in a minute.’ ”
And Meg Mathews, 53, said her 19-year-old daughter Anais – who she shares with her ex-husband Noel Gallagher – thinks she talks about the menopause too much.
Meg explained: “She has heard non-stop about it and now rolls her eyes. She’s like, ‘Oh God, here we go again, she’s off’.”

Rylan Clark-Neal has close bond with mum

OHMYGOSSIP — Rylan Clark-Neal is a “son and a daughter” to his mother.
The 30-year-old presenter has a very close bond with his mum Linda and although she can be a “liability”, he can’t imagine life without her.
He said: “My mum, Linda, is my biggest f***ing headache, but I don’t know what I’d do without her. She’s got the best of both worlds with me — I’m a son and a daughter.
“I can talk to her about make-up and blow-dry her hair, and I can tell her to f**k off. She’s a liability. She’s the ultimate cross between the nan from Catherine Tate and Pam from ‘Gavin & Stacey’.
“Everything is a drama. Mum’s 67, lives on her own and can’t do Sky, so she calls me every single day about it.”
Although Rylan can tell Linda “anything”, he didn’t always open up to her when he was younger.
He wrote for the Sunday Times magazine: “Growing up, it was just me, Mum and my older brother. I didn’t always like opening up to her about things. Not because she wouldn’t hear it — that was my struggle. She’s not the best at advice, but you can tell her anything.
“I’ve never spoken to her about my relationships and sexuality, but she wouldn’t have a problem with it. On ‘Gogglebox’, she was very happy to talk about someone’s willy while I was dying inside.”
And the former ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’ host knows he can always rely on his mum to keep his feet on the ground.
He said: I’m probably one of the people most unaffected by money and my job. My mum’s the same. Although she’ll say to me, ‘I want my teeth done,’ and I’ll say: ‘You’re 67, Lin, get over it.’
“Both of us are pretty non-bothered by any success I’ve had.
“I’ll be like, ‘Mum, I’m hosting ‘Supermarket Sweep’,’ and she’ll say, ‘Oh, that’s good, isn’t it?’ And that’s it. I need someone like that. She’d instantly sit on me if my feet left the floor.”
