OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Foxx gave his daughter terrible advice before her first movie.
Corinne Foxx, 25, makes her feature film debut in Johannes Roberts’ ’47 Meters Down: Uncaged’ and although her father is an Academy Award winner, Corinne says his advice was not helpful.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: “He’s always like, ‘It so easy, you can do it,’ and I’m like, ‘Dad, you won an Oscar, of course it’s easy for you’.”
However, Corinne – who attended the premiere of the movie earlier this week with her father – admitted she is very proud of Jamie and thrilled that he supports her as she follows in his footsteps.
She explained: “My dad’s such a talented actor, and I’m so thrilled red to walk in his footsteps. It’s a big deal, I want to do him well.
“I grew up going to set with my dad and going to his premieres, and to finally have my own and him coming to mine, it’s so full circle for me.”
Corinne also admitted that she was reluctant to follow her father into acting at first but she eventually made the decision to embrace her legacy.
She told Variety: “He’s so proud of me, he can’t even look at me without tearing up. I used to shy away from my last name. I really wanted to create a career for myself. [But] I’ve learned to embrace it in the last few years.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sophie Cookson is set to join Mark Wahlberg in ‘Infinite’.
According to Variety, the 29-year-old ‘Kingsman’ actress is in negotiations to star in the mystery film opposite Mark, who took over the lead role from Chris Evans recently, who had to pull out due to scheduling issues.
The movie is being directed by Antoine Fuqua for Paramount Pictures and has been penned by John Lee Hancock and Ian Shorr who adapted D. Eric Maikranz’s 2009 novel, ‘The Reincarnationist Papers’.
The project is being produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian at Di Bonaventura Pictures, and John Zaozirny. Rafi Crohn is the executive producer.
The original novel introduced readers to the Cognomina, a secret society of people who possess total recall of their past lives and a troubled young man who becomes haunted by memories of two past lives after joining their ranks.
The movie is slated for release on August 7, 2020 and is set to start shooting later this year.
Along with working with Sophie on ‘Infinite’, Mark recently signed up to ‘Arthur the King’.
The 48-year-old actor is to appear in the real-life adventure story about a titular stray dog who was adopted by Swedish adventure racer Mikael Lindnord during an endurance race in Ecuador.
Wahlberg will take on the role of Lindnord, whose book ‘Arthur: The Dog Who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home’ will be adapted by Paramount Players for the project.
The adventurer found the injured pooch during the 400-mile race in the jungle, and after the committed canine followed him through some tough terrain he adopted him and brought him back to Sweden.
Michael Brandt – who penned ‘3:10 to Yuma’ – has written the script for the film, and Mark Canton, Tucker Tooley, Courtney Solomon and Tessa Tooley will all produce the motion picture.

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Sanditon’ screenwriter Andrew Davies says the series is “a bit like ‘Love Island'”.
The mind behind ITV’s adaptation of Jane Austen’s final and unfinished novel thinks the eight-part series – which sees Charlotte (Rose Williams) meeting a number of potential suitors during her stay at an English seaside resort – has a lot in common with the ITV2 dating show.
He said: “I think she’d obviously been setting up Charlotte and Sidney for some kind of [romantic narrative] yeah.
“And Sir Edward as well, who presents himself as a sexy man but not a very reliable one, and then we thought, ‘Well it’s not enough, let’s have a decent chap who’s got lots of things in common with Charlotte, somebody she instantly likes because they never quarrel.’
“It’s a bit like ‘Love Island’, really. I mean is she just friend-zoning him? Or is there a f***y flutter? I confess I am a fan of ‘Love Island.’ ”
Also part of the cast are ‘Downton Abbey’ star Theo James as Sidney Parker and Jack Fox in the role of Sir Edward Denham, while Leo Suter has joined as Young Stringer.
The latter described his character – an unlikely love rival for the more charismatic Sidney – as “a bit of an underdog”, but admitted he hopes viewers will back him.
He added: “I hope that we as an audience root for him because he’s a good man and he’s got a good heart – but the question is: will Charlotte pick him?”
Austen first started writing ‘Sanditon’ – originally titled ‘The Brothers’ – in January 1817, and she completed 11 chapters before stopping work two months later.
It was eventually published in 1925, and the upcoming adaptation will air on ITV in autumn this year, with writer Andrew suggesting a second season could be a possibility.
He explained: “We haven’t had much chance to talk about it yet, but yeah, I do have a few ideas. And in fact the way we end series one, I hope we then get to a point where an audience says, ‘You can’t leave it at that!’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jade Goody told her sons about her cancer battle when it became “physically apparent” to them their mum wasn’t well.
The late reality star had children Bobby, now 16, and Freddie, 14, with Jeff Brazier before her tragic death aged 27 in 2009, and she tried to explain the heart-breaking situation to her boys in a way they “would understand”.
Speaking on Giovanna Fletcher’s ‘Happy Mum Happy Baby’ podcast, her ex said: “Nothing was said to the boys at the time. I guess it wasn’t until her health deteriorated further, because it was physically apparent to the boys, that it was then we had to introduce the fact that mummy wasn’t well.
“Obviously with the hospital visits it meant that she needed to escalate that and that’s what we did the whole way through.
“When it took a step in whichever direction, but obviously it was always a turn for the worse, we kind of had to give them an explanation that a four and a five year old would understand because otherwise our concern was that they would make up their own minds as to what’s going on and it will create more fear.”
Jeff – who had split from the ‘Big Brother’ star at the time of her death – had to go against his instincts as a father to tell their kids everything would be OK.
He said: “It defies every instinct that we have in parenting and as much as those moments where you are delivering that information, especially the last moments, where she said, ‘I’m going to be leaving and going to heaven’.
“That was the hardest conversation that anyone could ever have with their child. It’s disgraceful that she had to do that, not disgraceful because there was another way – there wasn’t.
“That was absolutely the right thing to do because it meant that the kids could start processing. The processing of loss is something that is still ongoing – from the minute that she said it ten years ago really, until this day.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kyle Chandler has joined George Clooney’s new Netflix film ‘Good Morning, Midnight’.
The 53-year-old actor – who recently starred in George’s Hulu series ‘Catch-22’ – is set to play an American astronaut named Mitchell in the movie, which Clooney, 58, is directing, Deadline reports.
Felicity Jones, 35, previously joined the cast in an unknown role, for the streaming service’s feature-length film adaptation of Lily Brooks-Dalton’s sci-fi thriller novel, which was named one of the best books of 2017 by the Chicago Review of Books.
Mark L. Smith will adapt the screenplay, which follows Augustine (Clooney), a brilliant astronomer who is consumed by the stars and spends his time trying to look back at the beginning of time itself.
When news of a catastrophic event arrives at his remote research center in the Arctic and the researchers are asked to evacuate, he insists on staying behind and soon embarks on a mission to save Mission Specialist Sullivan, who was aboard the Aether space ship when it crashed on its return flight from Jupiter.
The book’s synopsis hails the novel as: “A haunting debut novel about the search for meaning at the edges of human civilisation. ‘Good Morning, Midnight’ is the unforgettable story of two outsiders grappling with love, sacrifice, and regret at the end of the world.”
George – who will also produce alongside his regular collaborator Grant Heslov, as well as Anonymous Content and Syndicate Entertainment – previously said in a statement: “Grant and I couldn’t be more excited to be involved with this incredible project.
“Mark is a writer we’ve long admired and his script is haunting. We’re thrilled to be working with our friends at Netflix as well.”
Scott Stuber, head of Netflix’s film division, added: “Having known and worked with George for over two decades, I can’t think of anyone better to bring this amazing story to life.
“The book is powerful and moving, and Mark’s adaptation is beautifully written. At its core, this is a story about human nature, and one that I know our global audiences will fall in love with, just like I did when I read it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gerard Butler says he’s too old to play James Bond.
The 49-year-old actor doesn’t think he will be asked to take over the role from Daniel Craig, 51, when the actor retires after ‘Bond 25’ but Gerard did admit that he was approached about playing Bond 20 years ago.
Speaking to Roman Kemp on ‘Capital Breakfast’, he said: “No, I had a meeting for it like 20 years ago. Now, I think I’m at a nice ripe old age where they won’t be coming back my way which is fine.”
And he is more than happy with his own action franchise, playing Secret Service Agent Mike Banning in ‘Olympus Has Fallen’, ‘London Has Fallen’ and, most recently, ‘Angel Has Fallen’.
Gerard explained: “Listen, here’s the thing, you know what I love? I love Bond, I grew up on Bond but the cool thing with this is we created our own franchise.
“We created our own Bond, and that’s more fun than to have to play Bond and be compared to the others like ‘he’s not as good as him’, ‘better than him’, ‘no, nobody ever beats Roger Moore’, ‘oh Sean Connery…’, I won’t ever have to go through that.”
Meanwhile, ‘Bond 25’ co-writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge recently called the spy series a “fantasy nightmare”.
The ‘Fleabag’ creator has been brought on board to help with the script on Cary Fukunaga’s ‘Bond 25’ and Phoebe admitted there are parallels between James Bond and ‘Killing Eve’ assassin Villanelle.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: “There’s something about James Bond that always intrigued me in a similar way that Villanelle did. They live a fantasy! But it’s a life none of us would ever want, if we’re honest. We don’t want to go put a bullet in someone’s head to sleep with people and have martinis. It’s a kind of fantasy nightmare.
“A lot has been made of me coming on board because I’m a woman, and that’s wonderful. But also I can’t take credit for the movie that was written. It’s Cary’s movie.”
When asked about reports that actress Lashana Lynch will become the new 007, she answered: “The whole thing has potential to birth new iconic characters all the time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh has blasted Lauren Goodger and Jack Fincham for their ‘This Morning’ no-show last week, and questioned their “professionalism”.
The ‘Celebs Go Dating’ pair were set to appear alongside co-star Lady Colin Campbell on the ITV daytime show, but they failed to turn up to the interview after being snapped at the wrap party the night before – and the ‘Coronation Street’ actress has criticised the duo.
Writing in her column for OK! magazine, Kym said: “I say, if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen! No matter what, if you’ve been out the night before, you have to show up for work.
“‘This Morning’ is live and I’m sure people there would have been furious about having to fill that slot at the last minute.
“You’ve got to maintain a certain level of professionalism, so if you know you’re going on live TV, don’t drink, or worst-case scenario you’ve just got to put on a brave face.”
The 43-year-old star – who is set to leave her role of Michelle Connor after 13 years on the cobbles – believes bosses on the programme would have rather had the interview with two “hungover” guests than without them.
She added: “I’m sure going on hungover would have been preferable to them not showing up at all. How you treat people is everything in this industry.”
‘This Morning’ hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes revealed the news during the episode, with the latter confirming he and his wife wouldn’t be chatting to Lauren and Jack on the show.
He said at the time: “She [Lady C] was supposed to be joined by Jack Fincham and Lauren Goodger as well. They were supposed to be here but we were told it was the wrap party of the programme last night and they haven’t [turned up]. No one’s seen them since.”
While Lady C cheekily suggested the two stars didn’t turn up to the studio because of some “rumpy pumpy” with respective partners, Ruth called for the missing pair to get in touch.
She laughed: “That’s only Lady C’s opinion, obviously we don’t know. But Jack and Lauren, if you’re watching let us know, because we can’t find either of you anywhere. We’re a bit worried.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Lindsay has joined the cast of ‘Invisible’.
The ‘Maleficent’ actor will star as entrepreneur and multi-millionaire Max Crockett in the first episode of ITV’s upcoming contemporary crime drama set in Bath.
Lindsay will appear alongside ‘Game of Thrones’ actress Ellie Kendrick, ‘This Time With Alan Partridge’ favourite Susannah Fielding and ‘Lovesick’ star Rosalie Craig as his daughter Elenora, Tamara and Megan.
His son-in-laws Jack and Pete will be played by ‘Broadchurch’ actor Jack Ashton and ‘Doctor Foster’ star Navin Chowdhry, while Cassie Bradley (‘Coronation Street’) will take on the role of daughter-in-law Kasha.
The first outing for the new series will be made up of two feature length crime mysteries with an unlikely duo tasked with finding out the truth.
The wildly ambitious DCI McDonald (Tala Gouveia) will be paired up with the shy and modest DS Dodds (Jason Watkins) as the pair are thrown together in what makes a “rumustious yet effective” partnership.
‘DCI Banks’ lead writer Robert Murphy has created and penned the drama, which will feature a new story world for each episode combining inriuging plots and the journey of its detectives.
Rounding off the cast are James Murray (Superintendent John Houseman), Pearl Chanda (DC Laura Simpson) and Jack Riddiford (DC Darren Craig), while Natalie Mendoza and Roger Evans will both appear in the first episode.
‘Invisible’ will be executive produced by Robert Murphy – joined by Preethi Mavahalli and Damien Timmer for Mammoth – and filmed on location in the west country.
Amy Thurgood will produce, whilst Richard Senior will direct the first episode and Laura Scrivano the second with ITV’s Drama Commissioner Huw Kennair Jones overseeing production of the drama for the broadcaster.

OHMYGOSSIP — Katherine Ryan says her episode of ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ is just like an episode of ‘Game of Thrones’.
The 36-year-old Canadian comedian admitted she “sorta hoped” her family didn’t have a long history in the country because of the “slaughter of the indigenous people” – with a national inquiry this year finding that thousands of women have been murdered to date through “state actions and inactions rooted in colonialism and colonial ideologies” – and compared her family’s past to the political and violent HBO fantasy series.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’, she said: “I really thought we hadn’t been in Canada very long, and I sorta hoped that we hadn’t been in Canada very long because I know what went on there with the slaughter of the indigenous people and all those awful, awful things.
“But we had been there quite a long time doing fishing and preaching and Methodist touring. I can give some things away, it’s a beautiful episode to watch. It’s very ‘Game of Thrones!’ ”
During filming for the BBC One series, Katherine reconnected with her childhood sweetheart Bobby Kootstra 20 years after he split up with her, and she joked their reconciled romance isn’t a surefire thing just yet.
She teased: “He’s under review. I watch ‘Love Island’ and I try to learn from Amber [Gill] – you must never go back.”
However, the loved up couple are on track two decades after the TV star was left brokenhearted.
She explained: “He was my first boyfriend, my first love, and when he split with me – I was a handful when I was a teenager, as you can imagine, I don’t blame him.
“He said to me, ‘Katherine, we’re only 16, it’s not as though we’ll ever get married, you’re being ridiculous. We have to travel, we have to go to uni’, he was very logical about that. I looked at him – a girl from a small town.
“When you’re 16 and in love, you think that’s it, you don’t wanna date about, there was no Tinder then! And I was like, ‘what do you mean we’re not getting married?’ I was genuinely heartbroken, so I didn’t speak to him for 20 years. We really had a tumultuous split because of how heartbroken I was.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sheree Murphy misses working with the ‘Emmerdale’ cast.
The former soap star – who played Tricia Dingle from 1998 to 2004 – quit the soap 15 years ago to focus on her family with husband Harry Kewell, and while she loves keeping in touch with her former co-stars, her kids keep her busy.
Appearing on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’, she said: “Yeah, I do miss it. I’m still in touch with all my pals from ‘Emmerdale’. I went to see my friend Charley Webb the other day, who’s just had a baby.
“So I keep in touch with everybody, but I feel like my kids are my little gang. They keep me so busy, so I still have that.”
Charley and her husband and Matthew Wolfenden – who also stars in the soap – welcomed their third baby into the world last month.
She previously called for Sheree – who has 18-year-old son Taylor, daughters Ruby, 15, Matilda, 11, and seven-year-old Dolly with retired footballer Harry – to make a comeback to the ITV show.
The pair are best friends, and Charley was disappointed that her pal’s alter-ego was bumped off after part of the Woolpack fell on top of her during a huge storm in 2004.
When asked which ‘Emmerdale’ star she would like to see back on the show, she replied: “Sheree Murphy. Sheree is my best friend, but the character of Tricia was amazing, and they should never have killed her.”
Sheree has claimed in the past she would be well up for a role in ‘EastEnders’ or ‘Coronation Street’ to complete a soaps quartet after she also appeared in ‘Hollyoaks’ and ‘Neighbours’.
She admitted: “I’d love to do another soap although the only ones left for me to be in are ‘Corrie’ and ‘EastEnders’. I’ve done ‘Hollyoaks’, ‘Neighbours’ and, of course, ‘Emmerdale.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Marcel wants her own show with Bob Barrett.
The ‘Holby City’ co-stars – who play Jac Naylor and Sacha Levy respectively on the medical series – are close friends off screen, and after filming ‘Celebrity Antiques Road Trip’ together she would love to team up with Bob again in the future.
She told Inside Soap magazine: “Honestly, Bob is literally my best friend. We should have our own BBC Two series where I’m Mrs. Negative about everything, and he is Mr. Brightside.
“We recently did ‘Celebrity Antiques Road Trip’ together, which is going to be on at some point.
“The conversations we had in the car while filming that were just hilarious. Other than my husband, who is obviously the rock that I married, Bob is my rock at work.”
Rosie admitted the on-screen relationship between Jac and Sacha is “totally mirrored” away from the set, and she described Bob as a “dear friend” for life.
She said: “Jac and Sacha are a huge support to each other on the show, and that is totally mirrored in real life.
“He supports me endlessly. I love him and he will be my dear friend forever.”
The 42-year-old actress has even voted for Bob, 53, in the Best Drama Star category at the upcoming Inside Soap Awards, despite also being nominated for the prize.
She added: “Well, there is some great competition, as ‘Holby City’ has some fantastic actors in that category.
“I’ve actually voted for Bob Barrett … as I would really love to see him be given an award for the amazing mental health story that he did last year.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Hart has officially quit her job as an air hostess.
The ‘Love Island’ beauty – who left the villa after she was dumped by Curtis Pritchard – has revealed she has left British Airways after eight years, and she explained her decision came down to how recognisable she is after appearing on the ITV2 dating show.
She said on Instagram: “A lot of people are asking why I’ve left BA. I actually left on the 25 May. I just haven’t got round to taking all my stuff back yet because I’ve been so busy.”
She later added: “I’ve just come out of physio and come out to lots of messages about the whole BA thing.
“I can’t work there anymore because I’m there to be in charge of the safety of the whole plane.
“Right now that just wouldn’t be attainable because people would be… this isn’t me sounding like everyone thinks I’m amazing because it’s not that at all.
“People would be filming. People filmed us when I hadn’t been on a TV show that millions of people watched.
“People would be filming and people would be trying to pick up on everything that I did wrong. Not that I ever did anything wrong.”
The 27-year-old star – who also admitted she would be happy to return in the future – previously revealed how much she misses her job despite being pleased with the new direction her life has taken.
She said: “Don’t get me wrong, ‘Love Island’ was a life changing experience, but sometimes… what I wouldn’t give to be sat in the back galley, on a canister talking through the latest goings on or holding court in the front galley at 4am.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Fincham tried to quit ‘Celebs Go Dating’ as he was struggling to get back into the dating game.
Dating guru Anna Williamson has revealed the 26-year-old star – who won last year’s ‘Love Island’ with then-girlfriend Dani Dyer – was “having a bit of a hard time” on the programme.
She told Mirror Online: “Jack almost left the agency because he was having a bit of a hard time, and it was really tough for Jack when he first came in because he’s only been known so far as going out with one person and in a relationship.
“He’d underestimated how his dating experience was, which turns out not so great, but what is really nice is that Jack has a really good story and journey with the show and I think people are going to, hopefully, enjoy seeing how far he comes.”
Anna has encouraged ‘Celebs Go Dating’ fans to keep watching the series because there are “so many ups and downs to come”.
She said: “You know what they say, you’ve got to hit rock bottom in order to climb your way up, and I’d say pretty much every one of our celebs has climbed their way up, so stick with the series because they’ve got so many ups and downs to come.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Aidan Turner says the final series of ‘Poldark’ feels “more exciting” than ever before.
The 36-year-old leading man – who has played the titular hero Ross Poldark in all five seasons of BBC One’s period drama – will take on the role for the last time when the show comes to an end with a double bill over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
He said: “This year it does feel slightly different, it does feel more exciting. There’s so much going on.”
The finale – airing in two parts on Sunday 25 and Monday 26 August – concludes with Ross looking to foil a French invasion, receiving help from unexpected quarters.
The fifth and final series combines historical influence with inspiration taken from Winston Graham’s beloved novels.
Aidan heaped praise on writer Debbie Horsfield’s work on the show, and suggested her longevity and “continuity” is a big reason for its popularity.
He added: “Debbie’s done an incredible job this year. It’s kind of unheard of in the TV world, we’ve only ever had one writer.
“It’s incredible, and I think that shows in the continuity and consistency in the show – that’s something that’s really apparent, and we feel it as actors.”
Meanwhile, his co-star Jack Farthing – who plays Sir George Warleggan – promised the finale will be “very satisfying” to viewers who have been tuning in since 2015.
He said: “I think it’s a very exciting series, and I think the journey all the characters go on and their resolution as such at the end is very satisfying and rewarding after five years.”
The 33-year-old actor recently admitted he was glad fans were clamouring for more of ‘Poldark’, meaning the show hasn’t outstayed its welcome.
He insisted: “It’s good that ‘Poldark’ is ending when people are still interested in it – that’s obviously a privileged position to be in, because things can go on for too long.
“Isn’t it amazing when a show like ‘Fleabag’ says, ‘Right, we’re done?’ It’s so refreshing, it’s classy and it makes you appreciate the material that’s there.
“I’m glad that Poldark’s ending in a similar position, and it’s nice to end on a series that feels more Debbie’s than Winston’s in a way.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrew Davies jokes ‘Sanditon’ includes male nudity to “please” his wife.
The ‘Pride and Prejudice’ screenwriter – who has been married to Diana Huntley since 1960 – has also penned the script for ITV’s upcoming adaptation of Jane Austen’s unfinished final novel, and he has opened up about the way the upcoming ITV drama handles a scene in which male characters strip off on camera.
He said: “As my wife has been saying, something she constantly says is that she has no objection to female nudity but she’d like to see a great deal more male nudity on the screen so I try to please her.
“And I never think of the sensitivities of the poor guy. I thought it looked so beautiful, particularly Arthur [Parker, played by Turlough Convery] scrambling out of his clothes.”
Actor Leo Suter – who plays Young Stringer in the series – also weighed in and insisted there is a big difference between men and women baring their bodies on screen.
He explained: “I don’t think it’s the same thing when a man gets naked and a woman gets naked. For me, I don’t mind it because it’s a question of objectification.
“I put my face out on telly so I’ve already lost anonymity so if somebody sees my arse it doesn’t bother me that much, but a woman’s arse and a woman’s breast has far different cultural meaning than a man’s does so it’s hard to say.”
He also explained how context is key, and insisted there has to be a reason for nudity to be included.
He added: “Done right, I think that’s the important point…if you’re going to include it you need to include it well and smartly.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Freeman regrets some roles but he wasn’t worried about taking the lead in ‘A Confession’.
The 47-year-old wasn’t nervous about the potential controversies in telling the story of Detective Superintendent Steve Fulcher – who breached police protocol to catch killer Christopher Halliwell eight years ago – and he thinks Jeff Pope’s six part ITV true crime drama has found “a very human way” of dealing with things.
He told Digital Spy: “I think sometimes I’ve been wrong not to feel that [wariness], in the past. I’ve taken decisions in my professional life where, in hindsight – not many, but occasionally in hindsight – where I probably should have thought of that.
“Someone will be offended by this. Some will think we’ve gone too far, or not far enough. But for me, it’s a very human way of telling the story of… well, obviously the tragedy is young women being murdered. That’s the real tragedy.
“But beyond that, secondary to that, is the tragedy that Steve Fulcher and his family went through. He was a man trying to do the right thing, and he paid a very, very high price for it.”
DI Fulcher resigned after failing to caution Halliwell and interrogating him without legal representation present, and although these actions compromised the subsequent court case, the confession did mean the killer was jailed for the murders of Becky Godden and Sian O’Callaghan.
Martin added: “My sympathy and my empathy is certainly with Steve Fulcher, let’s put it that way, and not just because I’ve played him. I don’t know how anyone could say he did the wrong thing, morally.
“I’m also somebody who believes passionately that police have to be accountable. Of course they do. But still, morally, I’d much rather coppers like him were out there.”
