OHMYGOSSIP — Victor Oshin has joined the cast of ‘Casualty’.
The actor is “super excited” to be joining the medical drama as its 34th series gets underway this month, and he’ll be taking on the role of over-confident foundation doctor (F1) Mason.
He said: “I am super excited to be joining the ‘Casualty’ family and I can’t wait to start this journey with such a talented cast and crew.”
Mason sees himself as a high flier and someone who is ready to rise up the ranks, but behind the facade he is under pressure with a lot to prove.
This only increases after his first shift when a tricky introduction doesn’t give some of his new colleagues the best impression.
Victor is set to debut on screen from August 24 on the BBC One show, and Simon Harper – executive producer for ‘Casualty’ and sister series ‘Holby City’ – has heaped praise on the new arrival.
He revealed the actor delivered a brilliant first audition, and has given the character “a deep vulnerability” behind the pretence.
Simon added: “Victor wowed us from his first audition and is an immensely talented addition to the ‘Casualty’ company.
“He’s brilliant as Mason, layering the character with a deep vulnerability beneath the bravado of a junior doctor.
“We’ll have to wait and see how he gets on grappling with an NHS at critical breaking point, which is the overriding theme of this new series.”
In 2018, Victor made his professional debut in ‘Othello’, portraying the titular role, turning to acting after an injury brought his athletics dream to an end.
Last month, he commented on the comparisons between the two disciplines and admitted finding a balance is important.
He tweeted: “Not many understand the struggles of being a performer. They see of all the glitz and glamour of it all.
“Self-care is the more important part. Just like an athlete you need to take time to just recover. Something I’m realising, important to have a life outside of it all.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Helen Worth confirms Gail Platt will be back as she let slip her ‘Coronation Street’ character is “alive and well”.
The 68-year-old actress – who is the third longest serving actor to appear on the cobbles after making her debut back in 1974 – says that while her alter-ego disappeared four weeks ago after a row with her on-screen mum Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls), it isn’t the end for Gail.
Asked about her character’s status during an appearance on ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’, she stumbled before saying: “Well um, hmmm. I’m not sure I’m supposed to say.
“But I am still here and I am alive and well. I’m in Thailand. Everybody knows that.”
Gail fled the street after her son Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) told her to stay away after his brother David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) didn’t help him during a prison incident.
Only Bill Roache (Ken Barlow) and Barbara Knox (Rita Tanner) have being on the cobbles for longer – having debuted in 1960 and 1964 respectively – and Helen insisted she is “fortunate” to have enjoyed such longevity.
She added: “I have been fortunate to hang on this long. I am limping third behind. Happily.”
The ‘Corrie’ mainstay doesn’t take her work home with her, and joked her husband Trevor Dawson would have left her if she was anything like Gail away from the set.
She said: “I just go to the dressing room, take off Gail’s clothes, put on mine and go home. That’s it.
“You’d go potty. If I went home as Gail I don’t think I’d have any friends … or a husband. I know her [Gail] very well and more importantly I know all the wonderful people I work with.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lee Ryan felt like he was on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ during ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
Although the Blue singer and former ‘EastEnders’ actor is no stranger to reality TV having appeared on the likes of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in the past, he admitted joining the E4 dating show was a very unique experience for him.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’, he said: “It’s not anything I’ve ever done before. At one point I was sitting there and actually thinking, ‘I’m on TOWIE’, because it’s very much in the same kind of place in some ways.
“For me, it was a really great experience.”
The 36-year-old star also revealed he was “a bit reluctant” to go on a lot of dates on the programme because he can be too “awkward” when it comes to meeting someone for the first time, so he’d rather build up a connection with them first.
He added: “You had a choice whether to see the person you’ve been with before or carry on meeting new people.
“I was a bit reluctant to meet so many people because I don’t actually like the whole first dating thing. I get awkward and I say really bad dad jokes. I think I’m funny when I’m not!”
Lee previously admitted he was unaware about half of his co-stars on the dating show because he hasn’t owned a TV for a while.
He said: “I never had a TV for a couple years, I’ve only just got a TV. I’d rather sit by the piano.
“Half the people, I never really knew who they were. When they first walked in, I didn’t even know who Megan [Barton-Hanson] was.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Friel would have “opposed” her ‘Deep Water’ sex scene if it was too “salacious”.
The 43-year-old actress only has one steamy scene in the new ITV drama – in which she portrays mother-of-three Lisa Kallisto – but she wouldn’t have acted out the segment if she had deemed it unjustified.
Speaking to Red, Anna said: “The most important thing about the sex scene is that it wasn’t salacious or gratuitous in any way, because I would have been very much opposed to that.
“But it was very much part of the story, and a lot of discussion went into it. That’s the only sex scene I have – then the baton is handed on.”
The six-part series has been adapted from Paula Daly’s Windermere novel series.
BAFTA-nominated writer Anna Symon confirmed the sex in the series is limited but important to the women’s stories.
She said: “In terms of screen time, there isn’t that much sex in the show at all.
“No more than ‘Poldark’, but because it’s women’s perspectives on sex and the repercussions of sex that happens in the show makes such large part of the story.
“It’s looking at those issues and themes and it all comes from a position of character and there’s no sex in there that isn’t very important to the story.”
The series, which also features Sinéad Keenan and Rosalind Eleazar, follows the lives of complex women with dark secrets and big struggles.
Sinéad explained: “You have no idea what is going on behind closed doors, Deep Water takes a peek behind those closed doors.
“Happy families may not be so happy, they rarely are. The ones who you think have a perfect life, you can almost guarantee they don’t, everyone is struggling to some extent.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Andre will return to ‘Lorraine’ for a new Croatian cooking series.
The ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer will make a comeback to the ITV morning show alongside his children Junior, 14, and Princess, 12, in September for his own segment called ‘Peter’s Family Food Adventure’.
Peter said: “We are using all local produce and we are showing all kinds of food from the Adriatic and the Mediterranean, fish dishes, lamb dishes, there are some amazing stuff.
“One of the things I love is that it’s so healthy and it’s still part of the Mediterranean diet, even though it’s the Adriatic … it almost reminds me of my parents cooking when we were a kid. It’s really in my blood.”
The 46-year-old TV presenter was initially on ‘Lorraine’ for his series ‘Peter & Emily’s Cyprus Kitchen’ alongside his wife Emily Andre earlier in the year, cooking Mediterranean food in his Cypriot villa.
His second cooking segment includes his brother Michael, and he joked it is “a hard job”.
He said: “It’s a hard job I’m not going to lie but someone has to do it … the water is crystal clear, it’s just stunning. We are having the time of our lives.
“We’ve done water sports and all sorts of stuff. It’s fantastic and I’ve been cooking up a storm.”
The singer-turned-presenter admits feeling bad that his wife Emily doesn’t get to travel around like he does.
He said: “Emily, because she works for the NHS, she can’t say I’m just going to leave for a few days. So we are both working, I’m just in a slightly nicer place at the moment. I miss her.
“We are both providing for the family, right? I really wish she was here. It’s somewhere I really want to bring her, she will love it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea are still not “official”.
The ‘Love Island’ winner confirmed they are “exclusively dating” after taking home the £50,000 prize, which they will share between them, but the reality TV pair are still taking things slowly because they have only known each other for four weeks.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’, on which she was a guest panellist, the 22-year-old beauty therapist said: “We’re exclusively dating, we’re not official yet, Love Island is such a weird situation, we’ve only known each other a month.”
The beautician claimed her philosophy is “one strike and you’re out”, hence the couple taking it slow.
Amber is heading over to Ireland to meet Greg’s family this weekend, but isn’t fazed by a long-distance romance.
She said: “[The distance] is going to be hard, but if you want to make something work you put the effort in.
“If you really like someone you’re going to go to the ends of the Earth to see them.”
However, Amber was left blushing after a live blunder on her and Greg’s sexual chemistry whilst on the show.
She claimed the two had been “on top of each other all the time” while in the villa.
Show anchor Christine Lampard and panellist Denise Welch raised their eyebrows as Amber giggled and hid her face in her hands.
The couple won the ITV2 reality show after just two weeks together at the end of July, beating off competition from former fan favourites Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury.

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Gascoigne’s son has auditioned for ‘The Greatest Dancer’.
Regan Gascoigne, 23 – who the former England footballer shares with ex wife Sheryl – tried out for the BBC One competition, but didn’t mention the football legend to dance captains Otis Mabuse, Cheryl Tweedy, Matthew Morrison and Todrick Hall.
A show source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “Regan wanted to be taken seriously in his own right. He turned up and gave his name but no one really made the link.
“The dance captains and the audience had no clue his dad is football royalty.”
A BBC spokesman added: “‘The Greatest Dancer’ returns to BBC One next year and contestants will be announced in due course.”
Regan’s ‘Greatest Dancer’ audition comes seven years after his sister Bianca Gascoigne tried out for ‘The X Factor’.
She performed Mary J. Blige’s ‘I’m Goin’ Down’ for the judges – then made up of Rita Ora, Tulisa Contostavlos, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh – but she failed to impress.
Gary told her: “Your voice is just not good enough. If I look at the other 25-year-olds on the show they’ve been singing all their lives. You should have a better voice by now.
“In general it was a bit of a mediocre performance.”
Tulisa added: “I admire you’ve come up here to change the public’s perception of you.
“I think you’re a cool girl, I’ve met you out a few times. But I’m not feeling the vocals.”
Rita said: “I’ve heard better singers.”
Bianca is no stranger to reality TV having won ‘Celebrity Love Island’ in 2006 alongside Calum Best, and she has also appeared in ‘Celebrity Big Brother’, and ‘Celebrity Coach Trip’.

OHMYGOSSIP — James Cracknell feared his ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ dreams had “come to an end” when he was involved in a bike crash yesterday (14.08.19).
The former Olympian was cycling in London when he “had an altercation with a minicab driver” which left him with a “bust finger”, “some road rash” and a “damaged ego”, but the 47-year-old rowing champion insisted he is OK.
He said: “My ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ dreams nearly came to an end when I had an altercation with a minicab driver in London.
“It was nobody’s fault really. Bit of a bust finger, some road rash on my back, but OK.
“The good thing was there was no street furniture around for me to fall into. I was also wearing a helmet and I wasn’t listening to music so I could concentrate and was focused on what was ahead.”
James joked he has more chance of winning gruelling cycling competition the Tour de France than he does ‘Strictly’, but he used the aftermath of the incident to encourage other cyclists and motorbike riders to “focus” on the roads rather than listen to music.
Speaking in a video posted on his Twitter account, he added: “That’s the important thing to remember with cycling, or riding a motorbike or driving around town.
“It’s OK if you’re concentrating on what you’re doing and you’re absolutely focused. I’ve had my focus on riding a bike, and in fact doing anything else but learning how to dance.
“To be honest, I have more of a chance of winning the Tour [de France] than winning ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, but in for a penny.”
James also captioned the video: “Slight wobble – literally – in my @bbcstrictly preparations. Luckily only a bit of road rash and damaged ego – but I need to get ready for the latter. #daddancing #sharetheroad (sic)”
The star became the 14th contestant to join the BBC Latin and ballroom series this year, and revealed he hadn’t even told his mum the news.
He said: “I haven’t told my mum yet, we got told not to tell anyone.
“She’ll be going, ‘No, what’s he doing.’
“It’s going to be really interesting having no confidence in it and going, ‘OK, can you do it?’ ”

The 31-year-old star took to Instagram to wish her significant other a happy 46th birthday yesterday (14.08.19), and admitted she feels fortunate to be able to call the comedian her hubby.
She wrote: “Happy birthday my love Forty six today @mcguinness.paddy and living your best life!. Love I am so proud of everything you have achieved, I am so grateful for the children we have together and feel lucky to say “he’s mine”. The ‘Take Me Out’ presenter saw in his birthday in style, celebrating by having champagne poured over his head while he was in the shower.
Paddy shared a clip of the celebration, and said: “Shower news, it’s my birthday today, the big four-six. I don’t like to talk about it but if it’s your birthday today as well, have a great day.”
He then blew a kiss to the camera as he had the champers poured on him.
Paddy’s wasn’t in such a celebratory mood a few months ago when he took to social media to reveal he had undergone a vasectomy, a surgical procedure for male sterilisation or permanent contraception, to prevent pregnancy.
He said: “Well, patient McGuinness is home.
“I’ve gotta tell you, gentleman if you’re thinking of having a vasectomy and you’re a bit reluctant as I was, the initial anaesthetic, what they give you in the old pippins … I’m not going to lie, that’s tender, oh that’s tender.
“That made my eyes water, but after that, honestly, it’s a doddle.

OHMYGOSSIP — Haiesha Mistry has warned fans to expect a “major” development in Hollyoaks’ far-right storyline, which will leave viewers “shocked”.
The 25-year-old actress’ alter-ego Yazz Maalik (Haiesha Mistry) and Sinead Shelby (Stephanie Davis) made a dark discovery on last night’s (14.08.19) E4 episode when they found evidence that Stuart Sumner (Chris Simmons) and Jonny Baxter (Ray Quinn) could be planning an attack on the Dee Valley Community Centre after discovering floor plans on Stuart’s computer.
Haiesha said: “Yazz knows that it’s going too far now – it’s not just an attack on the Maaliks, it’s something on a bigger scale. It’s clear they are going to do something major.
“Yazz knows what the far-right are like and she’s very scared. It’s very shocking to see the extent of how far they’re going to go.
“We have to wait for a little while. I can’t say too much more, but the audience are in for a lot more drama in this storyline.
“There is going to be something major happening later in the year. It’s going to impact on the far-right and on the Maaliks. It’s something the audience will be shocked by.”
Haiesha felt “nervous” when she was first told about the far-right extremist storyline – which has seen Stuart and Jonny groom Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) into joining their organisation – but she is now “proud” of the plot.
She added to Digital Spy: “When ‘Hollyoaks’ told us that they wanted to do this storyline, I was a bit nervous about it.
“But actually, when we released the details of the storyline and it started airing on screen, we had such a big reaction.
“People said, ‘This story is something that needs to happen. It shows what happens in reality.
“I’m so proud that Hollyoaks are the first soap to do a storyline like this. To be part of it is so important, because we’re raising awareness with this storyline.”
Ray recently revealed he had been mistakenly branded “racist” in real life when someone confused him with his character.
He said: “I’ve had a couple of [abusive comments] from people in the street.
“I was in a coffee shop one time and I was asking for a coffee and the lady said, ‘Oh don’t serve him he’s racist’. And I had to sort of elaborate on the story to tell the geezer who was serving me, ‘I’m not, I’m playing one in ‘Hollyoaks’!’ I had to reassure him and he was like, ‘Sorry mate, don’t watch it’.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Cate Blanchett wants to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The 50-year-old actress’ villainous alter ego, Hela, the goddess of death, was killed off in 2017’s ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ but she hopes there’s still a way for her to come back for the upcoming ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’.
Asked if she wants to return, she said: “That’s probably a Marvel question. I’m here…”
Natalie Portman, who played Thor’s love interest Jane Foster in the first two ‘Thor’ films, will star as a female Thor in writer-director Taika Waititi’s ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, and even if she’s not directly involved in the movie, Cate is still very excited to see it.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I’m so, so excited. I’m so looking forward to seeing it, because I absolutely loved seeing them all with my kids. But I really, really loved Captain Marvel. No offense, Taika, but it was probably my favourite.”
The ‘Where’d You Go, Bernadette’ went on to praise Marvel Studios executive Victoria Alonso for the strong female characters in the MCU.
She said: “She has been an incredible advocate for feminising that universe. It’s right and true that those franchises should be actually cutting-edge, because that’s traditionally what [comics] have done.
“To know that Natalie is going to have such a pivotal role is really exciting.”
Scarlett Johansson – who plays Black Widow – recently praised the increased female presence in the MCU after Angelina Jolie was cast in ‘The Eternals’ alongside Salma Hayek.
She said: “It was amazing. I mean, there’s a lot of women that I hugely admire–Angelina, Salma…Rachel, Tessa…Natalie. It’s bananas. I think it’s very exciting. I think it grounds the presence of the MCU in a way. It’s very exciting to see such a diverse group of people. It’s awesome. And it’s about time.”
Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie will be the MCU’s first LGBTQ superhero and Rachel Weisz will appear in Scarlett’s ‘Black Widow’ movie.

OHMYGOSSIP — Henry Golding is in talks to play silent ninja Snake Eyes in the ‘G.I. Joe’ spin-off.
The ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star is reportedly being eyed for the lead role in ‘Snake Eyes’, which will tell the muted character’s complex backstory.
The ninja was played by ‘Star Wars’ actor Ray Park for the first two ‘G.I. Joe’ movies.
It’s not known whether Snake Eyes’ nemesis Storm Shadow will make an appearance in the film.
Robert Schwentke is directing and ‘Beauty and the Beast’ screenwriter Evan Spiliotopoulos is penning the script.
Paramount and Hasbro are also working on an “ensemble” movie of the main cast.
‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ writers Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec are in charge of the script.
All that is currently known is that the iconic character Chuckles, a former member of the US Army’s Criminal Investigations Division, will be featured.
After his breakthrough role as Nick Young in 2018’s ‘Crazy Rich Asians’, Golding has gone on to land roles in Guy Ritchie’s ‘The Gentleman’, rom-com ‘Last Christmas’ and most recently ‘A Simple Favor’.
Meanwhile, the actor previously admitted he doesn’t want to be “defined as the Asian leading man”.
Golding hopes his rise to fame as a result of his role in ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ will “inspire” other people to follow their dreams.
He said: “I don’t want to be defined as the Asian leading man. I want to be the leading man. Henry Golding. If it means helping inspire other Asians to be leading men, hell yeah, I’ll take it. You don’t know how proud I am to have that associated with my name. Sadly, we’re so underrepresented that we have to start with these labels to be proud of it, to normalise it. So shit, I’ll be the next Asian leading man.”
And the 32-year-old star is keen to branch out with other movie genres in the future.
He added: “I don’t want to get stuck in romantic comedy. I love these modern dramas, but when I’m in make-believe, I want to be beyond that of this reality.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruce Lee’s daughter wants Quentin Tarantino to “shut up” about her father.
Shannon Lee is horrified by Tarantino’s portrayal of her late dad as arrogant in his new movie ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’ and has not been impressed by the director’s attempts to explain his actions.
She told Variety: “He could shut up about it. That would be really nice. Or he could say sorry or he could say, ‘I don’t really know what Bruce Lee was like. I just wrote it for my movie. But that shouldn’t be taken as how he really was.'”
Tarantino recently defended the movie, saying that it is a work of fiction but Lee, played by Mike Moh, who is shown in the movie calling his hands “lethal weapons” and claiming he could beat Muhammad Ali, in a fight, was arrogant.
He said: “Bruce Lee was kind of an arrogant guy. The way he was talking, I didn’t just make a lot of that up. I heard him say things like that, to that effect. If people are saying, ‘Well he never said he could beat up Muhammad Ali,’ well yeah, he did. Not only did he say that, but his wife, Linda Lee, said that in her first biography I ever read. She absolutely said that.”
However, Shannon doesn’t agree with his explanation and said: “One of the things that’s troubling in his response is that, on the one hand, he wants to put this forward as fact and, on the other hand, he wants to stay in fiction.
“[Tarantino] can portray Bruce Lee however he wanted to, and he did. But it’s a little disingenuous for him to say, ‘Well, this is how he was, but this is a fictional movie, so don’t worry too much about it.'”
And the passage Quentin refers to from Linda’s book is actually a quote from a critic, who wrote: “Those who watched [Bruce] Lee would bet on Lee to render Cassius Clay [Muhammad Ali] senseless.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Sophie Webster is set to depart Weatherfield with her ex Kate Connor.
The cobbles favourite is expected to leave to travel the world – to tie in with actress Brooke Vincent’s upcoming maternity leave – when her family come into a bit of inheritance money via her aunt Debbie who returns to Coronation Street to tell Sophie’s dad Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) about a death in the family.
A source said: “Debbie has come into a huge sum of money and she wants to share the wealth.
“She hands over a cheque for £200,000 for Kevin and the kids.”
At first, Sophie looks set to leave Weatherfield with her girlfriend Paula Martin (Stirling Gallacher).
The source added to The Sun Online: “Sophie decides to ask girlfriend Paula to take a career break and go with her to see the world and she’s stunned when she agrees.”
But Paul is expected to change her mind at the last minute, and after hearing for weeks about Kate’s travelling plans – with actress Faye Brookes set to leave her role – Sophie departs the cobbles with her ex.
Brooke – who is expecting her first child with her footballer boyfriend Kean Bryan – recently admitted the changes her body has gone through during pregnancy have been “overwhelming” at times.
She said: “I really struggled and still do with the day-to-day changes of pregnancy and I want people to know that as much as it’s nice to hear such lovely comments about my pictures that they are professional or I’ve been stood there for 10 mins trying to get a good picture!”
“Pregnancy can be so overwhelming especially when you don’t feel amazing and see girls on Instagram looking like they are breezing through it!
“With the pressure of social media, and the natural worries of growing a baby I just want to let you know that I feel ya!!! (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Poldark’s fifth and final series will conclude in a special double bill over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
The final season’s penultimate episode will air on Sunday August 25 at 8pm and the epic finale will air the next day at 8:30pm on BBC One, and Charlotte Moore, director of BBC Content, admits the show has been a “runaway success” for the corporation.
She said: “Over the last four years Poldark has been a runaway success for BBC One and has become a firm favourite with audiences of all ages.
“It’s been wonderful to follow Ross and Demezela’s adventures and the changing fortunes of the Poldark and Warleggan dynasties.
“From the beginning everyone involved in the production has been committed to being faithful to Winston Graham’s brilliant novels, and so this is sadly the last episode of the last series.
“Everyone at the BBC would like to thank fans in Cornwall and around the world who have been so supportive of the show, the incredible cast, the crew, Debbie Horsfield, and the team at Mammoth for bringing us such a special series.”
The finale will end with Ross Poldark – portrayed by Aidan Turner – hoping to foil a French invasion and implicate his enemies.
Following the conclusion of episode seven, ‘Poldark’ fans will be able to check out a first-look clip of the hotly-anticipated finale on BBC iPlayer.
Poldark – which first aired in 2015 – is an adaptation of Winston Graham’s novels.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sophie Cookson is set to join Mark Wahlberg in ‘Infinite’.
According to Variety, the 29-year-old ‘Kingsman’ actress is in negotiations to star in the mystery film opposite Mark, who took over the lead role from Chris Evans recently, who had to pull out due to scheduling issues.
The movie is being directed by Antoine Fuqua for Paramount Pictures and has been penned by John Lee Hancock and Ian Shorr who adapted D. Eric Maikranz’s 2009 novel, ‘The Reincarnationist Papers’.
The project is being produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian at Di Bonaventura Pictures, and John Zaozirny. Rafi Crohn is the executive producer.
The original novel introduced readers to the Cognomina, a secret society of people who possess total recall of their past lives and a troubled young man who becomes haunted by memories of two past lives after joining their ranks.
The movie is slated for release on August 7, 2020 and is set to start shooting later this year.
Along with working with Sophie on ‘Infinite’, Mark recently signed up to ‘Arthur the King’.
The 48-year-old actor is to appear in the real-life adventure story about a titular stray dog who was adopted by Swedish adventure racer Mikael Lindnord during an endurance race in Ecuador.
Wahlberg will take on the role of Lindnord, whose book ‘Arthur: The Dog Who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home’ will be adapted by Paramount Players for the project.
The adventurer found the injured pooch during the 400-mile race in the jungle, and after the committed canine followed him through some tough terrain he adopted him and brought him back to Sweden.
Michael Brandt – who penned ‘3:10 to Yuma’ – has written the script for the film, and Mark Canton, Tucker Tooley, Courtney Solomon and Tessa Tooley will all produce the motion picture.
