Fearne Cotton to work with Holly Willoughby again?

OHMYGOSSIP — Fearne Cotton wants to work with Holly Willoughby again one day.
The 37-year-old television presenter worked alongside her blonde best friend on ‘Celebrity Juice’ for 10 years before she decided to quit last year in order to focus on some solo projects, but she’s hoping that she and the ‘This Morning’ host can join forces again in the future when they’ve both got a gap in their diaries.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Fearne said: “I don’t know. I think we’d love to. It would be lovely one day. She’s so busy at the moment. It’d be pretty hard for her to fit anything else into the picture.
“Similarly, I’ve got a lot going on with the Happy Place festival coming up soon, and the podcast, and there’s loads of new stuff coming out in September and in the new year. I’ve got a new cook book and stuff. It’s a busy time for both of us. But I think when we get a bit more space down the line, it’d be lovely.”
Holly, 38, recently said that she hoped that Fearne would reclaim her seat on ‘Celebrity Juice’ one day – especially “one-off specials” every now and again.
She said: “I was sad because I’m going to miss her. You never want anything to end, it’s been brilliant and such fun and I love the fact that I’ve had my friend there with me every series. I could really understand why she decided it was the right time and I totally respect that.
“I hope that she comes back for one-off specials every now and again, that she’ll come back and play with us some time because it would be lovely.”
The ‘Dancing on Ice’ presenter was “very surprised” when Fearne broke the news that she was leaving because she never expected her to quit.
She said: “It was a funny one because I was definitely surprised, I didn’t expect it.
“‘Celebrity Juice’ is one of those shows we started doing what feels like a million years ago. You think it’s going to go on forever and always be there.
“I knew something was up because she called me and she never calls me.
“She texts me a gazillion times, she’s fast at texting.
“When my phone rang and it was her I was like, ‘What’s happened?’, I knew she was going to tell me something big.”

Zendaya would have been a teacher if she wasn’t an actress

OHMYGOSSIP — Zendaya would have been a teacher if she hadn’t become an actress.
The ‘Euphoria’ star’s parents both educate children and, as they are a “major influence” her, she thinks she would have followed in their footsteps if she hadn’t found success with her passion.
Zendaya said: “My parents are educators and they’ve been a major influence on me.
“Teachers are very important figures in society, despite being one of the least paid.
“They spend their lives dedicating themselves to helping young people learn about the world and life in general.
“If I wasn’t in this business, I would have probably followed in their path.”
The 22-year-old actress began her career when she was just 12 years old and will always be grateful for the support of her parents, who vowed to “stand behind” her and give her the help and support she needed in order to pursue her dreams.
She told heat magazine: “The only thing [my parents] wanted to be sure of was that this what was I really wanted to do.
“When I told them that I was sure, they said that they believed in me and would stand behind me and that’s what they’ve done my entire life.
“I feel very grateful to have parents who allowed me to follow my dreams. You have no idea how many times a week they would drive me back over the years between Oakland and Los Angeles.
“It’s a long, six-hour drive and that costs a lot of money for two teachers earning low salaries.
“But that’s how much they believed in me and supported me.”

Martin Freeman set to star in Black Panther 2

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Freeman is poised to reprise his role as Everett Ross in ‘Black Panther 2’.
The 47-year-old actor – who starred in the original movie in 2018 – has revealed he’ll be returning to the Marvel Universe to appear in the much-anticipated sequel.
Speaking to Collider, Martin shared: “As far as I know, I will be [returning].
“As far as I know, I will be in another ‘Black Panther’. That’s my understanding. As to when that will happen, I don’t know.”
Ryan Coogler is expected to return for ‘Black Panther 2’, but thus far, Marvel has remained tight-lipped about the details of the sequel.
Earlier this year, meanwhile, Martin admitted he almost turned down the lead role in ‘The Hobbit’ film series.
The British star revealed he worried accepting the role would be bad for his family life.
Martin – who split from actress Amanda Abbington in 2016 – said: “It wasn’t an easy ‘yes’. I went to New Zealand in January 2011 and my last day was July 2013 – two-and-a-half years between the beginning and the end.”
Martin conceded it wasn’t fair to ask Amanda to uproot her life and career in the UK to join him on location.
He explained: “I was going to be away for a long time and Amanda, who I was with at the time, she’s an actor, a brilliant actor, and it wasn’t the 50s [so] I didn’t feel I could say, ‘Right, you’re coming with me.’
“She had her own life, her own career.”

Martin Freeman: I’m open to a Sherlock return

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Freeman is “open” to a return to ‘Sherlock’.
The 47-year-old actor – who plays the role of Dr. John Watson in the hit TV show – has revealed he’d consider reprising his role, but he doesn’t know if it’ll ever happen.
He said: “If it’s something really special, and if it’s something really meaty and interesting, then I think we’d all be open to that.
“‘Sherlock’ always sounds a bit like an event, anyway. We did three episodes [each season]. Albeit they were long episodes. They were 90-minute episodes, but they were quite few and far between, by television standards.
“Normally, you’re looking at ten or eight episodes. We did relatively few, even though there was a lot of material. It always felt like an event, so if we do more, it has to be worthy of that.
“We couldn’t come back with something that was quite good. It would have to feel really, really special. It was that kind of show.”
Martin also likened the ending to season four to “a semi-colon or an ellipses”.
Speaking to Collider, he reflected: “The way the story went, in the last series, felt like, if not a full stop, then certainly a semi-colon or an ellipses.
“It felt like a pause. It didn’t feel like something where we could just pop up the next year and go, ‘Hey, folks, we’re back.’ It felt a bit more momentous than that.”

Brad Pitt praises Leonardo DiCaprio

OHMYGOSSIP — Brad Pitt found “great relief” in working with Leonardo DiCaprio.
The 55-year-old actor stars as stunt double Cliff Booth alongside the 44-year-old star’s alter ego Rick Dalton in Quentin Tarantino’s new movie ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’ and he found it relieved the pressure of headlining a film to be working alongside an equally big name.
He said: “There was a great ease and it was really fun. I had a laugh with him.
“You’ve got the best of the best holding up that scene with you and there’s a great relief in that.
“We have the same reference points. We came into the industry at the same time, we have similar experiences and we know a lot of the same people. Leonardo is really giving and generous. I hope we get to work together again.”
Brad viewed his and Leonardo’s characters as “one individual” but particularly admired his friend’s work in the movie.
He said: “I see Rick and Cliff as one individual. Rick is feeling put upon. Life’s against him – and there are some of the greatest breakdown scenes I’ve ever seen from my friend Leo.
“In the Cliff character, you see a guy who’s gone past that and is accepting of his lot in life. He’s at peace.”
When he watched the finished movie for the first time, Brad felt as “pleased as punch” with Tarantino’s creation.
He told Britain’s OK! magazine: “I was as pleased as punch. Tarantino always brings something fresh and new to the table.
“It’s a love letter to this community that I have loved – and hated – through the years.
“It’s a love letter to LA, which I also love. It’s a love letter to cinema and television, as well as the unsung people who came before me.”

“With ‘Western Stars,’ Bruce is pivoting yet again, taking us with him on an emotional and introspective cinematic journey, looking back and looking ahead. As one of his many fans for over 40 years, I couldn’t be happier to be a rider on this train with Bruce and Thom.”
‘Western Stars’ is written and performed by Springsteen, with Thom, Jon Landau, Barbara Carr and George Travis producing the project.
Meanwhile, Springsteen previously confirmed plans for another E Street Band tour.
The ‘Dancing In The Dark’ rocker admitted he had a sudden spark of creativity which has prompted him to put plans in place for another tour.
He said: “I’ve spent about seven years not writing anything for the band. I couldn’t write anything for the band.
“And then about a month or so ago, I wrote almost an album’s worth of material for the band and it came out of just … I mean, I know where it came from, but at the same time, it just came out of almost nowhere.
“I had almost two weeks of those daily visitations and it was so nice. It makes you so happy. You go, ‘Fine, I’m not f***ed.’ There’ll be another tour.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kirstie Allsopp has blasted her drug-taking “friends” for helping to create the “horror of county lines drugs dealing”.
The 47-year-old TV presenter has taken to her Twitter account to ask casual drug users whether they ever consider the impact of their behaviour.
In response to a recent police warning – which said that county lines drug dealers are now targeting British seaside towns – Kirstie tweeted: “When people who take drugs on a regular basis, friends of mine amongst them, see the horror of county lines drugs dealing and the damage done to very young people, do they feel totally s**t about themselves or do they just think roll on legalisation? (sic)”
Kirstie later clarified her comments, explaining that she wasn’t directing her frustrations towards drug addicts.
She wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “I’m not talking about addicts, you’re not an addict when you do a couple of lines every now and then. (sic)”

The presenter caused an outcry when she revealed she’d smashed the devices to stop her two boys from playing video games.
She shared: “I didn’t want them to see that and that’s why I shut down the account.
“I usually get zero abuse on Twitter – there are controversies and people give their opinion – but it was the first time I’d been abused.
“A lot of the gamers went nuts. I think they felt that someone was trying to cut their willy off or something.”

Craig David wants permanent Love Island role

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Craig – who threw a TS5 pool party on ‘Love Island’ – said: “If they want me to DJ a TS5 set, I’m there. I’ll be a regular – put me on. I’ll always put on a pool party when they need me.”
The chart-topping star revealed he loved making his cameo appearance on the show.
He explained: “It’s the most flattering thing – to go out there and see them run down the steps with excitement.
“It was a proper pool party, too. I played a 40-minute set. Over the years, I appreciate the love and the reaction more and more.
“The chart positions and awards are all amazing, but when you see that face light up – I live for it.”
Meanwhile, Craig revealed that his new single, ‘Do You Miss Me Much’, is a nod to the UK garage sound that made him famous in the 90s and early 2000s.
He shared: “It’s always been close to my heart, has garage music, but there were periods of time when it wasn’t right to use that sound.
“It’s important that it wasn’t just seen as a throwback. Now I’m seeing DJs, particularly when I do my Ibiza Rocks residency, playing garage records and seeing a young crowd relating to it, new stuff by newer, younger artists.
“I’d been working on this tune and felt like I wanted to drop it like it’s yesterday and now I think people are ready – it feels current and it has nostalgia in the lyrics.”

Fleur East’s mum insisted on questionable jungle snack

OHMYGOSSIP — Fleur East’s mother wanted her to take cream crackers as an ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ snack.
The 31-year-old star headed to the Australian jungle last year for the ITV reality series, and she admitted her mum Irene was insistent on her taking the questionable luxury into camp.
Speaking on the Hits Radio ‘Breakfast Show’, the host laughed: “I remember before I packed to go to the jungle, my mum was like, ‘Take some cream crackers’.
“I went, ‘Cream crackers, mum? To the jungle?’ She said, ‘You never know what food might be in the jungle, you might need some cream crackers’. I’m like, ‘Mum, I don’t think I’ll be needing dry cream crackers in the jungle.’ ”
Meanwhile, the former ‘X Factor’ runner-up revealed her mum has a knack for overpacking for her own trips, and she turned up to Fleur’s house this week with a lot of luggage – and a large fruit.
She said: “My mum came to stay yesterday and she’s here for a week, and she managed to pack ‘the essentials’according to her into four suitcases.
“Seriously I had to eye roll… Only she knows [why]. She missed her coach firstly because she was faffing.
“Then she got to my flat and opened up the suitcases and she had a melon in one of them that she felt the need to bring with her. I don’t know, a watermelon. I know… It’s just unbelievable.”
Fleur has previously heaped praise on her mum for being a “big influence” on her as a person.

Faye Brooks and Gareth Gates split

OHMYGOSSIP — Faye Brooks and Gareth Gates have split.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress and the 35-year-old singer had been dating on and off for seven years before getting engaged in January this year, but the pair have now decided to go their separate ways once more as they’ve called off their engagement and ended their relationship.
A source close to the former couple told the Manchester Evening News: “Faye and Gareth are both extremely sad about their relationship ending. They still care very much about each other and want to remain friends, but the wedding has been called off. They tried to make it work but sadly it’s not meant to be.”
News of their split comes just months after 31-year-old Faye insisted they will “never take each other for granted again”.
Speaking in March this year about their last split – which saw them separate in September 2018 after six years together – Faye said: “It was for the right reasons for sure. I feel like we’ll never take each other for granted ever again.
“Work took over and we ended up missing each other so much that we were missing life together.
“We are enjoying engagement but obviously I’ve been dreaming of this [wedding] day since I was a little girl.”
And Faye – who plays Kate Connor on the cobbles – even admitted Gareth “pulled it out of the bag” when it came to her proposal, which included him performing a 17-minute song.
She said: “He’s always been a gentleman from the moment I met him. He planned the whole thing behind my back, which I was thrilled about because I love surprises.
“He had my whole family involved. My brother went down to London to collect the ring, everything was planned to a tee.
“He’s a perfectionist and it didn’t go unmissed. He really did pull it out of the bag.”

The Only Way is Essex returning to Marbella

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Only Way is Essex’ is returning to Marbella.
Producers on the ITVBe reality show have delighted cast members by going back to basics following overseas jaunts in recent years to the likes of Thailand, Las Vegas, Italy and Majorca, with viewers promised “explosive moments” while the programme is out on location to the popular Spanish resort once again.
A source told The Sun online: “The cast are pleased to return because they love the party vibe and can’t wait to let their hair down again.
“Some of the show’s most iconic moments have happened there and bosses are hoping to create some more TV gold.
“The last couple of years have seen the gang travel around the world but nothing beats Spain and they can’t wait to get filming again.
“The summer special will be back to its best and viewers are in for some more explosive moments that will go down in reality TV history.”
But in a break from previous years, the new series of ‘TOWIE’ won’t start with the Spanish special.
The insider explained: “For the first time the Marbella special won’t kick off the new series, it will start in Essex and then move to Marbs.”
It was revealed last year many cast members were unhappy to be ditching Marbella in favour of a break in Sardinia, Italy, and the likes of show veterans Chloe Sims and Gemma Collins opted out of being involved.
A source said at the time: “They’re going to Sardinia in Italy this year, not Marbs, so it’s going to be a really different trip this year
“Every year, the cast beg producers to go to LA or Miami or Dubai, so when they heard it was Italy, some cast were furious because they think there are much more fun places to film.
“Only half the cast are going too – even though it’s not going to be wild clubbing and nights out, they’re all desperate to go!
“Nobody wants to be left at home.”

Maura Higgins to get solo spin-off show?

OHMYGOSSIP — Maura Higgins is reportedly in talks for her own show on ITV2.
The 2019 ‘Love Island’ runner-up – who is dating dancer Curtis Pritchard after being partnered up on the show – was a huge hit with viewers of the dating show this series and has already landed a solo gig on ‘This Morning’ as an agony aunt on ITV1.
And now the 28-year-old ring girl is said to be getting her own programme, which will see her complete a series of thrilling activities and challenges before she turns 30.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “She is great on screen so bosses want to create a platform where viewers can still get their fix.
“While her and Curtis are still together, no-one really knows what the future holds for them as a couple so producers are focusing on Maura.
“They are ironing out details at the moment.
“She has ratings-winner potential, they just have to settle on the right tone.”
The news of Maura’s own show comes after it was claimed ‘Love Island’ bosses are said to be holding back from making a spin-off about this year’s winners in case they split up before the show airs.
Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea triumphed in this year’s final over long-term favourites Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague, but producers are said to be reluctant to shoot a programme about the pair.
An insider said: “It’s been a publicity disaster in previous years, when couples split before their show aired or appeared to get back together just as the programmes came out.”
Last year’s winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham landed spin-off ‘Jack & Dani: Life After Love Island’ but the pair split in December, shortly before the show broadcast in January, before reconciling, and they eventually confirmed their break-up in April.

Hugh Grant: Paddington 2 is the best film I’ve ever been in

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Grant thinks ‘Paddington 2’ is “the best film” he’s “ever been in”.
The ‘Bridget Jones’s Diary’ star has recalled how he was mocked for landing the part of villain Phoenix Buchanan in the second movie in the family-friendly fantasy franchise on Twitter and admitted it is “particularly annoying”, because it’s his career highlight.
In an interview with Variety magazine, he said: “I was presenting I think at the Golden Globes, and they do that thing when you walk out, and they say, ‘From the forthcoming ‘Paddington 2′, Hugh Grant.’ “And someone showed me Twitter afterwards, and it was … people were full of derision.
“‘Christ, has it come to that. Poor old Hugh. ‘Paddington 2′. Sequel to a kids film.’
“It’s particularly annoying in the case of Paddington 2, because I genuinely believe it may be the best film I’ve ever been in.”
Hugh will be pleased to know that ‘Paddington 3’ is in the works.
The much-loved franchise – which sees Ben Whishaw voice the titular marmalade-obsessed bear – is to return, but may not see director Paul King at the helm.
Producer David Heyman revealed: “I don’t think Paul King will direct the third. He did the first two – he and I are working on another project together. He’s very special, Paul. We’re developing a third ‘Paddington’. We haven’t got a script yet, we’ve got a treatment which we’re still working on.”
Though Paul may not direct the movie, he will still be involved to some degree.
He added: “Paul is involved in it, I wanted him to be involved in it because I think he’s such a significant voice, but I don’t think he’ll direct it. He worked on the idea. He comes up with the idea with (writers) Simon Farnaby and Mark Burton and then they develop it and come back for more, back and forth, and then it’ll get written and Paul will come in and stir it up a little bit. But he’s an incredible collaborator, Paul.”
Jim Broadbent, Dame Julie Walters, Hugh Bonneville and Sally Hawkins all las appeared in the second movie.
