Stan Lee’s daughter accuses Disney and Marvel of disrespecting his legacy

OHMYGOSSIP — The late Stan Lee’s daughter has criticised executives at Marvel and Disney in the wake of the battle over the rights to ‘Spider-Man’, claiming they have “never shown him or his legacy any respect or decency”.
Sony Pictures bought the film rights to the iconic Marvel Comics character – who was co-created by Stan and writer/artist Steve Ditko in 1962 – in 1999 but in 2015 made a deal with Disney, who own Marvel, to allow Peter Parker and his web-slinging alter ego to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, resulting in him featuring in five films, including blockbuster ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and most recently ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’.
But this week Sony Pictures hit a stalemate with the studio over the financing and profit-sharing of the future ‘Spider-Man’ movies, leading to the exit of Marvel boss Kevin Feige from the franchise, and the breakdown means that Spider-Man will no longer feature in the MCU.
Now, Stan’s daughter Joan Celia Lee claims that the deal fell apart because bosses didn’t show enough respect for her father’s work and legacy.
Speaking to TMZ, she said: “Marvel and Disney seeking total control of my father’s creations must be checked and balanced by others who, while still seeking to profit, have genuine respect for Stan Lee and his legacy. Whether it’s Sony or someone else, the continued evolution of Stan’s characters and his legacy deserves multiple points of view.”
Joan, 69, has also claimed that no one at Marvel or Disney contacted her or the rest of the family following Stan’s death in December 2018 at the age of 95 and she has accused
She added: “From day one … they have never shown him or his legacy any respect or decency. In the end, no one could have treated my father worse than Marvel and Disney’s executives.”
Sony Pictures issued a statement revealing that studio bosses are “disappointed” Marvel boss Kevin Feige will no longer be involved in their ‘Spider-Man’ films.
The statement read: “We are disappointed, but respect Disney’s decision not to have him continue as a lead producer of our next live-action Spider-Man film. We hope this might change in the future … Kevin is terrific and we are grateful for his help and guidance and appreciate the path he has helped put us on, which we will continue.”
There has been several months of negotiations between the Disney-owned Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures to change the original deal, which saw Marvel collect five per cent of the profits of ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ and ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’. Going forward, Marvel seemed sure they could find a deal as the character – which is currently played by Tom Holland – was billed to be “the next Tony Stark” in the Marvel franchise.
The stalemate between Sony Pictures and Disney reportedly came when the latter asked for financing and profits to be split 50 / 50, which would mean Disney and Marvel would have a huge increase in profits, with the previous film grossing a whopping $1.1 billion worldwide.

Robert Englund wants finale as Freddy Krueger

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Englund would like to play his iconic horror alter ego Freddy Krueger for a final time.
The 72-year-old actor portrayed the dream stalking killer in eight movies, making his last appearance as the supernatural murderer in 2003 spin-off ‘Freddy vs. Jason’, which pitted him against fellow slasher movie icon Jason Voorhees from the ‘Friday the 13th’ franchise.
Englund admits he would be up for wielding Freddy’s glove of finger knives one last time to say goodbye to the movie monster but he hopes another actor will take on the mantle so the series can be relaunched for another long run of films.
Speaking at Monster Mania Con in New Jersey, he said: “We need a Freddy that can do the next eight movies – or seven, I don’t want them to remake Part 1 again. I’m not Freddy anymore, you guys. I could do one more … probably. If you shot me up with vitamin c!
“But here’s the thing. I can’t do eight more, you guys. So we need a new actor that you guys believe in and trust and love that can go the distance.”
Wes Craven’s original 1984 movie was remade in 2010 with Jackie Earle Haley playing burned brute Freddy in ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ but Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema did not follow it up with a sequel.
Englund also claimed he has heard a rumour that the franchise is going to be relaunched with Kevin Bacon, 61, donning Freddy’s hat and red and green sweater.
The ‘V’ star added: “He’s not a kid anymore either but the rumour I’ve heard that I like is Kevin Bacon. Kevin loves horror. He’s a real actor. He’s a character actor. Kevin was great in ‘Tremors’. Kevin was great in ‘Stir of Echoes’. And I’ve heard this rumour. We need someone like that to take it on. And re-do it, exploiting all of the new technology.”
Earlier this year, filmmaker Alexandre Aja admitted he wants to direct ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ reboot.
The 41-year-old director – whose previous horror films include 2019 creature feature ‘Crawl’, 2006’s ‘The Hills Have Eyes’ remake and 2008’s ‘Mirrors’ – said: “‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ would be amazing, one of my most traumatic experiences as a kid was watching ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’. I would love to kind of explore that. This is a great world to explore.”

Russell Tovey wants 10 kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Russell Tovey wants 10 children.
The 37-year-old actor – who recently reunited with his former fiancé, the rugby player Steve Brockman – wants a huge brood because he feels like he would be a great father.
When asked by the Evening Standard’s ES magazine, how many children he wants, he said: Oh 10, I don’t know, loads, whatever works. I mean it all depends on the size of your house, doesn’t it, whether you can, like, put them all up. I think that probably puts a limit on it.”
Although he did not mention Brockman by name, he added: “At some point it will all be out there but it’s all going very, very well and I’m very happy. I wanna be a dad and whatever the ins and outs are of that, I’m exploring. I love my nephews. I love kids. I just feel like I’d be a good dad. I feel like I could provide a fun house and a very cultured upbringing.”
Meanwhile, ‘Years and Years’ actor Russell – who had therapy after he and Brockman split up last year – revealed he wishes he had seen a therapist after he was stabbed in the head during a random attack on the train home to Billericay in Essex almost 20 years ago, when he was 18.
He said: “I looked like a little kid, and these two were like blokes, just two horrible people – ****s, basically. But now I look back and think: what must your childhood have been like that you felt it was okay to do that?
“It f***ed me up for about three, four years. I still have a thing, though not as much now, that if I’m walking along and feel nervous, I lose my step, lose my ability to walk properly. I probably should have gone into therapy.”
Russell came out to his parents when he was 18 and although he never planned to become an ambassador for the homosexual community, he is proud of who he is and believes the roles he is taking on are “changing the dialogue”.
He said: “I just didn’t want to get to a stage where it would be a big thing; it’s always just been who I am and I made a decision at an early stage when I started getting lots of work that it is what it is.
“It wasn’t on my agenda, but you do become an ambassador in some ways if you are successful and you are a ‘something’.
“I felt like I was playing gay characters all the time: people that were in the LGBTQI spectrum, I felt I was covering all of that,’ he says. ‘You’re kind of programmed as an actor to not come out or not take so many gay roles if you are gay, but I felt the roles I was getting offered were changing the dialogue, so I couldn’t not [take them].”

Tyson Fury lands reality TV show ‘Meet The Furys’

OHMYGOSSIP — Tyson Fury has landed his own reality TV show.
ITV’s ‘Meet The Furys’ will follow boxer Tyson and his family, including ‘Love Island’ star Tommy, as the sportsman fulfils his childhood dream of defending his heavyweight boxing lineal championship in Las Vegas and prepares to take on his arch-rival Deontay Wilder for a second time.
Filmed over several months, the four-part series will bring viewers into Tyson’s Morecambe home and the Gypsy King’s family site for a candid portrait.
Tyson’s wife Paris, their five children, his father John and assorted family and friends will all feature in the series.
According to ITV it will “reveal the most complete and intimate portrait of the Gypsy King ever seen” and will candidly capture him amongst his inner circle of family and friends who have lived through Tyson’s mental health and addiction issues with him”.
‘Meet The Furys’ was commissioned by Kate Teckman, Head of Development Factual Entertainment, and Sue Murphy, Head of Factual Entertainment, at ITV.
Kate said: “This is a unique opportunity to gain an insight into this enigmatic figure whose battles inside and outside the ring have made him one of the most talked about people in popular culture. With unprecedented access, this series aims to offer a full picture of Tyson Fury and his background that is sure to pin viewers to the ropes.”
Tommy previously revealed he would love to do a show with his brother.
He told the Daily Star: “We’ve got to take everything we’re offered and look at it to see if it’s a path we want to go down. But I already know I would 100 per cent want me and Tyson to do a show together.
“We’re two contrasting characters, so I think that would be a fun route for us to go down. It would be something new for us. We’ve trained together and sparred a bit, but we’ve never worked together before.”

Jeremy Kyle piloting new show for ITV return

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Kyle is piloting a new show for ITV.
The 54-year-old presenter – who is best known for fronting ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’ on the channel – had his show scrapped in May after participant Steve Dymond, who failed a lie detector test, died in a suspected suicide.
The broadcaster’s director Kevin Lygo has now revealed Jeremy has a new series in the works which they are testing and also revealed his popular investigate programme ‘The Kyle Files’ will be back in 2020.
However, Kevin admitted it’s unlikely Jeremy will back on screens in same time slot as his eponymous-titled show was at 9.30am.
He told Sky News: “No, I doubt he will [return to the same slot].
“I can’t imagine what we would do. I have spoken to him about it, of course, and I think he feels as well that whatever he does next, it shouldn’t be in that 9.30am slot.
We have an ongoing commitment to The Kyle Files which is his style of journo thing which will be ready next year sometime.”
Kevin insisted that it would be “absolutely wrong” to put the “blame” on Jeremy after the tragedy, and insisted they are doing all they can to find the right programme for the TV veteran’s comeback on the channel.
He continued: “We are piloting something with him and we will just have to have a look because he is a consummate broadcaster and it would be absolutely wrong to apportion blame of the show against the presenter of it.
“We don’t hold him in any bad way. We will look to find another show with him but I think it is unlikely it will go in the same slot.”
Jeremy was left “devastated” by Steve’s death and he sent his “thoughts and sympathies” to his family.
He previously said: “Myself and the production team I have worked with for the last 14 years are all utterly devastated by the recent events. Our thoughts and sympathies are with Steve’s family and friends at this incredibly sad time.”
Announcing the end of ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’, Carolyn McCall – ITV’s CEO – said at the time: “Given the gravity of recent events we have decided to end production of ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’.
“‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’ has had a loyal audience and has been made by a dedicated production team for 14 years, but now is the right time for the show to end. Everyone at ITV’s thoughts and sympathies are with the family and friends of Steve Dymond.
“The previously announced review of the episode of the show is underway and will continue.”

Hugh Grant wants to star in Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Grant would love to star on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 58-year-old actor is a huge fan of the BBC dance show and although he says it would be “beneath my dignity” to take part, he admitted he would jump at the chance to compete for the glitterball trophy.
He told Deadline: “Secretly, I’d kind of like to be on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. It’d be beneath my dignity, obviously, but I would, really. I’ve developed rather a taste for dancing. I had to dance in ‘Paddington 2’, and in ‘Love Actually’ and other things, and it’s lovely. It’s a simple form of entertainment and there’s not enough of it. I’ve never done a proper musical, like those old Hollywood ones, and that’s what you need. I think the time has come. Remake ‘The Sound of Music’, maybe.”
Hugh also revealed that one of his favourite TV shows to watch is ‘The Antiques Roadshow’.
When asked what his guilty pleasures are, he said: “The Antiques Roadshow. It’s just fascinating; the look of disappointment on people’s faces when it’s not worth what they thought it was. That show is an antique itself now.”
While Hugh has received an Emmy nomination for his work in ‘A Very English Scandal’, he admitted that his career in television did not get off to a very good start.
He said: “I was cast in a television thing about Scott of the Antarctic [‘The Last Place on Earth’]. This was in the mid-’80s. I was a complete new boy. Suddenly I was flown out to the Northern Territories of Canada, onto the sea ice with all these rather good actors. I’d driven my Ski-Doo way out onto the ice, and in the scene, I had to peer into the distance with a snow machine blowing snow in my face, and then walk back to the tent where everyone was dying. I did this. I walked back to the tent, they called cut, and I told them, ‘Well, I’ve done my bit’. So, I called for the man with the Ski-Doo and went all the way back to the hotel. I didn’t even know that you were supposed to do more than one take, let alone more than one angle. I had to be hauled back from the hotel, and I’d kept everyone waiting for an hour. They were freezing their b*****ks off. I was just too frightened to ask what I was meant to do next.”

Neil and Katya Jones’ professional split

OHMYGOSSIP — Neil and Katya Jones were planning their split nearly a month before it was announced.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professionals announced last weekend they were ending their six-year marriage but it has now been revealed they had separated their professional relationship before then.
According to documents obtained by The Sun Online, the dancers – who had always worked together during their 11-year relationship – have each set up their own companies, with Neil founding Jonesy Ltd on July 31 and Katya, using her maiden name, registering Sokolova Ltd on August 5.
Both are classified as “amusement and recreation activities” businesses.
The former couple had previously run their own dance studio and event space, The Joneses’ Studio, in Alton, Hampshire, which offered dance lessons and classes – including helping soon-to-be newlyweds prepare for their first dance – offered meets and greets with Neil and Katya and hosted weddings.
Neil and Katya, 30, announced their split on Instagram in a statement which read: “Hi everyone. As our fans and loyal supporters you are really important to us and so we wanted to let you know some news. After 11 years we have made the mutual decision to separate.
“We will always love each other, just in a different way as friends. This will never change what a great team we make and we are really proud of everything we have achieved together.
“Our shared love of dance means we will keep working and dancing together as well as exploring individual projects. No matter what we do we will always support and respect each other.
“We wish one another every happiness and we will remain the best of friends. We are really looking forward to getting back to the ballroom and can’t wait to keep on dancing. Lots of love from us both xx (sic)”
The split came 10 months after Katya was pictured locking lips with comedian Seann Walsh, who was her dance partner during the 2018 series of the BBC Latin and ballroom dance competition.
At the time, Katya publicly apologised for the incident and 37-year-old Neil revealed he had forgiven her, and insisted he wouldn’t be leaving her despite some fans calling for them to split.

Lucie Donlan and Joe Garratt back together

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucie Donlan and Joe Garratt have confirmed they are back together.
The ‘Love Island’ stars got together on the show but the 23-year-old sandwich maker was booted from the villa just days after their first date and the 21-year-old beauty later admitted she had feelings for Tommy Fury.
However, following speculation they had reunited on the outside world, the pair have now shared a series of loved-up professional pictures on Instagram and confirmed their reunion.
Lucie captioned her beach photo with a heart and waves emoji and wrote: “#JUCIE (sic)”
Joe shared a similar photo with the same hashtag caption, and the pair’s fellow Islanders are delighted.
Anton Danyluk commented: “This has honestly made my day #jucieareback (sic)”
Michael Griffiths added: “This is what I like to see.”
And Francesca Allen wrote: “JUCIEEEE FOR LIFFIEEEEEE (sic)”
News the pair are officially back together comes just three weeks after Joe admitted he feels “awkward” speaking to Lucie on the outside world because she has been busy “doing her own thing” and didn’t want a relationship.
He said: “We kissed at the ITV summer party after getting close again outside of the villa. I really like her, but she’s doing her own thing right now.
“I’m looking for a girlfriend, I really want to find love. But she’s not thinking about that right now.
“It’s awkward because we see each other at events all the time. It’s difficult, I don’t feel like I can talk to her now because everyone is looking at us wondering if we’re getting back together.”
The blonde beauty also confirmed that she and Joe are not romantically involved, while also insisting that she no longer has any interest in boxer Tommy Fury, who was the runner-up of the show alongside Molly-Mae Hague.
She said: “Me and Joe are just friends. We tried to see if anything was there but he’s so lovely, we’re just going to be friends.
“I’m over Tommy. I won’t be pursuing him again, I’m so over that.”

Jamie Laing mocks Strictly curse

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Laing has compared the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ “curse” to incest.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ star – who is set to compete in the new series of the BBC Latin and ballroom contest – suggested it isn’t surprising that some celebrities have embarked on relationships with their professional partners because they spend so much time working very closely together, regardless of their personal commitments outside of the show.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “Everyone talks about this ‘curse’. You spend eight hours a day, six days a week with this one person. And if you have ever seen the movie ‘Blue Lagoon’ with Brooke Shields she ends up sleeping with her brother.
“If you spend a lot of time with your sister you end up sleeping with her. That is the moral of that story. It is a weird moral.
“That is what I am going to say to anyone who asks me about it.
“But if the ‘Strictly’ curse did happen my answer will be ‘Have you ever watched ‘Blue Lagoon’?’ ”
In the 1980 movie, Brooke Shields and Christopher Atkins play cousins who fall in love after getting marooned on a tropical island.
Jamie’s comments came after the 30-year-old star – who is dating Sophie Habboo – recently insisted he doesn’t have any advantage on the show, despite having studied theatre and performance at university.
He said: “Contemporary dance you can do anything you want, I feel like if you’re given some ribbons and you roll about on the floor, everyone is going to be like ‘that is contemporary’.”
And Jamie admitted that his contemporary dance module had put him off dancing for a long time.
He explained: “When it came to finally enrolling in my course, people had already picked what they wanted to do and the only thing that was left was contemporary dance.
“So for the whole first year I had to do contemporary dance. As I was the only boy, I had to be the bulb in the flowers and all the girls were petals.
“All of my friends were sitting in the front row and they were all laughing at me and I thought ‘this sucks’, so my experience of dance has been skewed a bit by that.
“It was the worst thing in the world, I’d wake up every day and think ‘why have I done this.'”

Imelda Staunton ‘chuffed’ to be in Downton movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Imelda Staunton was “chuffed” to land a role in the ‘Downton Abbey’ movie.
The 63-year-old actress portrays Lady Bagshaw in the upcoming big screen spin-off and felt “very at home” on set, having grown familiar with everyone involved in the project thanks to her husband, Jim Carter, although she was disappointed not to share many scenes with her spouse, who plays butler Carson.
She said: “It was lovely. I felt very chuffed to be asked.
“I’ve known most of the cast throughout the whole period of ‘Downton’ so I felt very at home there.
“I was delighted to be ‘upstairs’ with all those nice frocks and it was wonderful playing a feisty character.
“I only shared one scene with my husband Jim though.”
The veteran actress isn’t looking forward to having to promote the movie because she’s not a fan of red carpets.
Asked if she’s looking forward to the ‘Downton’ premieres, she told Britain’s OK! Magazine: “Not particularly, no. Actors are wheeled out again and again but most of us just want to do the job and go home, not spend our time putting on a frock and talking about the film.
“It’s not like we’re going to Syria of course, but a red carpet is work.”
Now that Imelda and Jim’s work schedules are easing up, they are enjoying having the chance to spend more quality time together.
She said: “When Jim was filming ‘Downton’ for six years, I was doing theatre most nights, so now we’re having a very good time together planning little trips.
“We did five days in Kent last year which was absolutely fantastic; Margate, Dugeness, visiting gardens.
“We’re enjoying having those little bits of life together because there’s no doubt we’ve both been hard at it.”

Kit Harington to join Marvel CInematic Universe

OHMYGOSSIP — Kit Harington is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The 32-year-old actor is set to make his first major project since ‘Game of Thrones’ ended with a part in one of the superhero franchises, Deadline reports.
However, it is currently unclear which film Kit will appear in and in what capacity, though the outlet suggested it could be announced at some point this weekend at Disney’s D23 Expo.
Kit – who played Jon Snow in ‘Game of Thrones’ – recently admitted he “broke down” when he finished filming the fantasy drama series.
He said: “My final day of shooting, I felt fine … I felt fine … I felt fine … then I went to do my last shots and started hyperventilating a bit. Then they called ‘Wrap!’ and I just f***ing broke down. It was this onslaught of relief and grief about not being able to do this again. It wasn’t so much about Jon. It was about not being in this world, not getting to smell those smells, fight those fights, be with these people – the whole package.”
And the British actor – who is married to former co-star Rose Leslie – felt like he was being “skinned” when he took off the costume for the last time.
He admitted: “But the weirdest bit was when we came off set and they started taking the costume off and it felt like being skinned. It felt like they were unceremoniously, for the last time, ripping off this character.”
He also admitted shooting the final season was “exhausting”.
He said: “It was exhausting. It was nine months … usually we film over six months for 10 episodes, and we filmed over nine months for six episodes… We did everything … the one thing I feel right now is that we put everything we could into this. So we’re just proud of it now.”

Laura Harrier owes career to Spike Lee

OHMYGOSSIP — Laura Harrier “wouldn’t be an actor” if it weren’t for Spike Lee.
The 29-year-old actress has praised her ‘BlacKkKlansman’ director for his visionary work and career, in particular for promoting “black people’s stories”.
She told Britain’s Marie Claire magazine: “[‘BlacKkKlansman’] has definitely changed my life and working with Spike was one of the biggest opportunities I could have wished for. I’ve admired him and his work my whole life. He’s shaped American filmmaking, he’s shaped black filmmaking. I wouldn’t be an actor if it weren’t for him – he’s put people that looked like me on screen in such a wider space than anyone did before and he’s told black people’s stories since the beginning.
“I saw ‘Do the Right Thing’ when I was a kid and watched a bunch of his movies in high school.
“He was the first person who made me understand what an auteur really is.”
Laura now wants to work on a romantic comedy because she doesn’t think she’s typical of the lead actress usually featured in such films.
She said: “I want to do romantic comedies and other films in which you don’t see people who look like me, movies where you’ve never really seen people who don’t look like Kate Hudson.
“I don’t know what people’s thought process was when they believed that audiences couldn’t connect to seeing people of colour falling in love.”
And the ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ actress is working on developing her own projects to make that happen.
Asked if she’d consider writing or producing, she said: “Yes, definitely. That’s something I’m working on now. I’m developing some adaptations of books. I can’t say anything more about them at this point, but I’m going to make sure I get my romantic comedy moment.”

Spider-Man 3 keeps writers

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers will pen the third installment in the franchise.
It was announced earlier this week that the web-slinging superhero would be leaving the Marvel CInematic Universe (MCU) after talks broke down with Sony, but the studio are planning to retain the scribes to pen the next outing for the character, who is expected to continue to be played by Tom Holland, despite the upheaval.
However, it is unclear whether or not Jon Watts will return to direct the third movie after being brought on board ‘Far From Home’ by MCU boss Kevin Feige.
It was revealed earlier this week that Sony Pictures – who licenced the famous character to Marvel – has hit a stalemate with the studio over the financing and profit-sharing of the future ‘Spider-Man’ movies, leading to the exit of Marvel boss Kevin Feige from the franchise.
In a statement, Sony’s spokesperson said: “Much of today’s news about’ Spider-Man’, has mischaracterised recent discussions about Kevin Feige’s involvement in the franchise.
“We are disappointed, but respect Disney’s decision not to have him continue as a lead producer of our next live action ‘Spider-Man’ film. We hope this might change in the future, but understand that the many new responsibilities that Disney has given him – including all their newly added Marvel properties – do not allow time for him to work on IP they do not own.
“Kevin is terrific and we are grateful for his help and guidance and appreciate the path he has helped put us on, which we will continue.”
There has been several months of negotiations between the Disney-owned Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures to change the original deal, which saw Marvel collect five per cent of the profits of ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ and ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’. Going forward, Marvel seemed sure they could find a deal as the character was billed to be “the Next Tony Stark” in the Marvel franchise.
The stalemate between Sony Pictures and Disney reportedly came when the latter asked for financing and profits to be split 50 / 50, which would mean Disney and Marvel would have a huge increase in profits, with the previous film grossing a whopping $1.1 billion worldwide.
However, as the week has gone on, reports have suggested Disney would settle for 25% of profits and financing but only for movies that involve both Kevin and Marvel.

She wrote on the photo-sharing platform: “Best birthday present I’ve ever had. love you @ryanthomas84. (sic)”
Lucy and Ryan’s happy news arrives shortly after the soap star proposed to the brunette beauty, who first found fame on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’.
And Ryan recently revealed that Lucy “threw up” everywhere after accepting his proposal.
He said: “For some reason we thought it would be a great idea to go to a nightclub. We got there and immediately regretted it so walked back out again and went to a beach bar. And then she threw up!”
Lucy added: “I don’t know if it was the excitement of the champagne but I threw up as soon as we got to the bar!
“Poor Ryan had to hold my hair back. I’d only had a couple of drinks so I think it was because I was feeling so overwhelmed!”
Ryan also revealed that his wife-to-be kept him “waiting for ages” because she was in “total shock” with the proposal.
He recalled: “She kept me waiting for ages before she said yes! I kept having to repeat the question as she wasn’t answering me.
“She was just sat there with her hands over her mouth squealing, ‘Oh my God. You’re kidding me? Oh my God.'”

Katya Jones ‘to partner Will Bayley on Strictly Come Dancing’

OHMYGOSSIP — Katya Jones is being lined up to partner Paralympics table tennis gold medallist Will Bayley on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 30-year-old dancing professional – who recently split from her husband Neil Jones – is likely to join Will on the ‘Strictly’ dance floor after impressing during rehearsals.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “Katya and Will have been put together, they are in early group rehearsals and bosses will be looking out for which couples gel. Quite often the pairings do stick.”
Will – who has arthrogryposis, a condition which affects development of the limbs – won his gold medal at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Earlier this month, meanwhile, Katya announced her separation from Neil, whom she married in 2013.

Louise Redknapp ‘devastated’ by social media trolls

OHMYGOSSIP — Louise Redknapp was “devastated” by accusations from Instagram users that she’s a “bad mum”.
The 44-year-old star – who has kids Charles, 15, and Beau, 10, with ex-husband Jamie Redknapp – felt she was “taking bullets pretty much every day” from strangers on social media.
She told ‘Paul McKenna’s The Positivity Podcast’: “I used to feel devastated I went through a time when I was taking bullets pretty much every day of my life – people that have never met me.
“And being told that you’re a bad mum or you’ve left your children. Of course you know me, or enough of me, to know those things aren’t true.”
Louise also revealed she’s been tempted to hit out at the trolls.
She shared: “I get so many comments going, ‘Are you ever with your kids?’
“And I want to go back and go, ‘Well, actually, this morning I did four teenagers a bacon sandwich and then I took one to golf and then I met a girlfriend for a coffee and I Instagrammed that,’ because I’m not going to put my kids on there.
“I’ll put them on if I choose to and they want to be on it but I’m not going to put them on there to say, ‘Hey, look at me. I am a wonderful parent.'”
