Ant and Dec tease plans for Saturday Night Takeaway finale: ‘We don’t know if it’ll ever be back!’

OHMYGOSSIP — Ant and Dec “don’t know” when ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ will be back.
The Geordie duo, both 48, made the decision to rest their variety show more than 20 years after it was first broadcast and ahead of the grand finale on Saturday (13.04.24) evening, revealed that there will be plenty of “new stuff” to look forward to in the episode but remain unsure if the show will ever be back on screen.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, Ant explained: “You want to make sure that you get enough new stuff in and fun stuff in so it’s not just all a lookback.”
Dec added: “We don’t know when the show will be back and we don’t know if we will ever do Ant versus Dec again, so whoever wins is the ultimate!”
The two-hour episode will feature celebrity guests like Simon Cowell, Davina McCall, Rylan Clark, Oti Mabuse, Amanda Holden, Dermot O’Leary, Craig David and Alison Hammond on its billing, whilst pop group Girls Aloud will appear as guest announcers.
But the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ hosts admitted there will be “tears” once the show has wrapped, and that it has been “quite hard” in the final days before broadcast.
Ant said: “I’m sure there will be tears. It’s been quite hard this week knowing it’s the final week in rehearsals and script meetings and everything. We’ve kind of kept a lid on it until now. Until we got here and saw the stage, we thought, oh, it seems quite final.”
Dec added: “When we first came to the decision to rest it – and we did it because 20 series feels like a good time to do it – we told our management first. We said ‘We want to rest it but we reserve the right between now and then to change our minds several times. And we have. But I think we know in our heart of hearts it’s the right thing to do.”

Babatunde Aleshe stopped talking to Matt Hancock after I’m A Celeb:’He’s not in the WhatsApp group!’

OHMYGOSSIP — Babatunde Aleshe is no longer in touch with Matt Hancock following their appearance on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’
The 37-year-old comedian took part in the 2022 series of the hit ITV1 reality show alongside former MP Matt – who served as the UK’s health minister during the COVID-19 pandemic – as well as a host of others like pop icon Boy George, ‘Coronation Street’ legend Sue Cleaver and eventual winner Jill Scott but admitted that Matt is not even a part of the WhatsApp group chat.
He told Metro newspaper’s Sixty Seconds column: “It taught me that I’m braver than I thought I was. Because even though I was scared of
everything, the fact that I agreed to take part in the first place let me know – hey mate, you are
quite ballsy!
“You will take on a challenge even if you end up looking like more of a wimp.
“I’m in touch with everybody apart from Matt Hancock. But, to be fair, he’s not part of the WhatsApp group.”
The ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’ star insisted that he “doesn’t hate” Matt, 45, and even though thing were “difficult” to begin with in the camp, he learned how to “work” with others.
He said: “Look, I don’t hate the guy. It was difficult at the beginning to be in there with someone who was like hated throughout the whole nation. But we made it work because when you’re in there, there’s a lesson to be learned in kind of putting differences aside and learning how to work together with people.”

Alison Hammond reveals why she turned down the chance to host Big Brother revival

OHMYGOSSIP — Alison Hammond was asked to present the ‘Big Brother’ revival but turned it down.
The 49-year-old TV star shot to fame when she took part in the reality series during its heyday on Channel 4 in 2002 before going on to a career in presenting but turned down the chance to host the show when it was revived by ITV1 in late 2023.
She told The Sun newspaper’s TV Mag: “They asked to see me and I went in there and said to them: ‘Listen, I’ll be honest, I’ve never ever wanted to host ‘Big Brother’, I’m just grateful everything it’s given me.”
In the end, AJ Odudu and Will Best became presenters of the new series – which was eventually won by lawyer Jordan Sangha, 26, with dancer Olivia Young, 23, as runner-up – and the celebrity spin-off.
But Alison – who has been a regular face on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ since competing alongside the likes of Kate Lawler and Jade Goody in the house – is now going to take the reins on ‘For the Love of Dogs’ following the death of Paul O’Grady, and was “surprised” at the backlash she received because she doesn’t actually have a dog herself.
She said: “I was surprised with how much criticism I got. I could understand that Paul was so loved, but trolls will be trolls, and I’ll still do what I do best, which is TV presenting.
“My life is not conducive to having a dog right now, but ! can foster whenever I’ve got a week here or there.”
The ‘Bake Off’ presenter noted at the time the news was announced that she can never really “replace” TV legend Paul – who died in March 2023 at the age of 67 – but is keen to “shine a light” on the work of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
She said in a statement: “I am very aware that I can never replace the iconic Paul in this wonderful series.
“But if I can continue to shine a light on the brilliant work done at Battersea and help to tell the stories of these beautiful dogs, then it will be an absolute privilege to give it my all.
“I can’t wait to share the joy of their searches for new loving forever homes and hopefully make lots of furry friends of my own along the way!”

‘It’s destiny’: Jon M. Chu thrilled to have cast Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande in Wicked

OHMYGOSSIP — Jon M. Chu says that “destiny” enabled him to cast Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande in ‘Wicked’.
The 44-year-old filmmaker is helming the two-part film adaptation of the hit stage musical and is grateful to have the stars featuring in the roles of witches Elphaba and Glinda respectively.
Speaking at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Thursday (11.04.24), Jon said: “When you find those two, you know it’s destiny.”
The ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ director explained how Cynthia, Ariana and himself have all incorporated “personal things” to add extra emotion to the film – the first part of which will be released in November with the second following in 2025.
Chu said: “We’ve gone through so many emotional journeys together.”
The director explained how the musical has had a profound “impact” on his life as he went to see the show in San Francisco during his college days with his mother – who was undergoing chemotherapy at the time.
He recalled: “It was one of the best experiences of my life with her.”
Chu said that releasing the film in two parts – rather than making one very long movie – is more reflective of the musical production and will keep fans satisfied.
The director said: “It has to be two parts for it to be something the fans recognise. Those two parts have to feel like a movie, you should want more but you can’t be unsatisfied emotionally when you finish the first.
“There’s a five-hour version, do we want that?”
Ariana explained that both she and her co-star had a “tremendous responsibility” in their depiction of the beloved characters.
The 30-year-old star said: “We both felt such a tremendous responsibility to honour these women and to pour our hearts, our souls, our tears – so many different pairs of lashes.”

Scary Movie franchise is being rebooted

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘Scary Movie’ franchise is being revived.
Paramount Pictures announced that a sixth installment in the horror parody franchise is in development at CinemaCon on Thursday (11.04.24).
Neal H. Moritz – known for his work on the ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ and ‘Fast and Furious’ films – will be producing the new picture but it is not known if cast regulars including Anna Faris and Regina Hall are to return.
The series was developed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans with the latter pair starring in the first two films.
The original ‘Scary Movie’ hit cinemas in 2000 and parodied horror flicks including ‘Scream’ and ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’. Four sequels would follow that poked fun at the likes of ‘Saw’ and ‘The Ring’.
Interest in the franchise had declined by the time ‘Scary Movie 5’ – which did not feature either Faris or Hall – was released in 2013 and poor box office returns put the films on hiatus.
The Wayans family were not involved from the third movie onwards and Marlon claims that it was “snatched” away from them by The Weinstein Company – led by the disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.
Speaking to Kevin Hart on the Comedy Gold Minds podcast, the 51-year-old actor said: “We didn’t walk away from a franchise. They didn’t want to make our deal, and they snatched it.
“We never walked away from our franchise that we created. It was taken and us being the creatives that we are were like, ‘Alright, bet.’ Now watch what I create.”
Marlon also recalled that the family only became aware that they would no longer be involved after they read a news article at Christmas time.
He said: “The second one they rushed us into, and by the third one, they didn’t want to pay the money, so they snatched it. We found out on Christmas that they hired somebody else to go do it.”

Dustin Hoffman and Helen Hunt cast in Peter Greenaway’s new film

OHMYGOSSIP — Dustin Hoffman and Helen Hunt have been cast in Peter Greenaway’s new film.
The pair are set to star in the British filmmaker’s latest project which has started principal photography in Lucca, Italy.
The story is based on Greenaway’s original script and centres on an intelligent man called Jacob whose last big adventure is planned to be his own death. He wants to pass away in elegant, sensible and tidy fashion and leave behind as few loose ends as possible.
Sofia Boutella, Giacomo Gianniotti, Jonno Davies and Laura Morante also have roles in the untitled picture – which marks Greenaway’s first film since 2015.
The 82-year-old director said: “The theme of this film is highly relevant and topical in these times, where the end-of-life topic is headline news on a daily basis. As such, I am very excited to be working with such an array of extraordinary actors and crew and personal collaborators to bring this particular story to the big screen.
“With ironic provocation, the film is prepared to seriously ask if death is necessary, and if it is, should we not be available to decide where and when? And even how? If we truly are going to die, shouldn’t we be involved in the decision-making?”
Greenaway explained that Dustin’s alter ego was named Jacob in reference to the Bible figure of the same name.
The filmmaker told Screen Daily: “He is playing the character of Jacob. If you know your bible, you know Jacob fought with the angels. In a curious autobiographical way, it is me fighting with the angels.”
He explained that Morgan Freeman had been attached to star in the film but a change of producers meant he had to leave and led to the opportunity to get the ‘Rain Man’ star involved.
Greenaway said: “Yes, once upon a time, but we changed producers. The finance became richer and richer. It is quite an expensive movie and so now we are using the very, very exciting possibilities of working with Dustin Hoffman.”

Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont split after nine years of marriage!

OHMYGOSSIP — Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont have split after nine years of marriage.
The pair, who have one daughter, got hitched in April 2015 and have had years of success with their ‘Meet the Richardsons’ TV show poking fun at their relationship, but shocked fans by announcing on Friday (12.04.24) they were calling it a day.
A statement from the couple said: “After nine years of marriage, we would like to announce that we have separated.
“We have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go our separate ways.
“As our only priority is managing this difficult transition for our daughter, we would ask that our privacy is respected at this sensitive time to protect her well-being.
“We will be making no further comment.”
Jon, 41, and Lucy, 40, started dating in 2013 after they met each other through their comedian and actress friend Roisin Conaty.
They had daughter Elsie Louise in 2016 – the same year they started Dave’s mockumentary show ‘Meet the Richardsons’.
They have also appeared on the same shows and last year presented Channel 4’s ‘Jon and Lucy’s Odd Couples’.
But last month Lucy spoke about the downside of working with Jon.
She told OK! magazine: “It’s a great working environment because it feels like a big group of friends.
“It’s a shame that you can’t see the crew off camera because most of them have worked on the show from the beginning. It’s like a holiday for them.”
Lucy described their ‘Meet the Richardsons’ show as a great way to “channel tensions” – and recently dropped a hint its current series could be its final run, saying: “This will probably be the last one, and we’re going out on a high.”

Josh Gad to direct Chris Farley biopic

OHMYGOSSIP — Josh Gad is set to direct a Chris Farley biopic.
The movie is set to feature Paul Walter Hauser as the tragic ‘Saturday Night Live’ star, who died of a drug overdose on December 18, 1997 at the age of just 33.
‘SNL’s Lorne Michaels will produce the film, which will be based on the book ‘The Chris Farley Show: A Biography in Three Acts’ by Tom Farley Jr. and Tanner Colby.
Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber will write the screenplay, based on the book.
The role is a dream come true for Hauser, who revealed in 2021 that he had approached the Farley family about playing Chris in a movie.
While that project never came to fruition, the new movie has the backing of the Farley family, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Paul previously told THR: “I wanted to do a Chris Farley movie where he’s in rehab for half of the film, and for the other half of the movie, he’s doing his SNL stuff and his movies. I think I have a really great take on that story, but I’m trying to lose weight and I’m trying to redefine myself as a person of healthy choice-making, and as an actor. So the days of doing Fatty Arbuckle, Chris Farley or Ignatius J. Reilly in a Confederacy of Dunces movie have a very small time window, and it’s getting smaller by the week.”
After finding fame on ‘SNL’, Chris went on to have small roles in movies including ‘Wayne’s World’ and ‘Coneheads’.
He later landed leading roles in ‘Tommy Boy’, ‘Black Sheep’ and ‘Beverly Hills Ninja’.
However, he struggled with alcohol and drug addiction and died of an overdose in 1997.

Sharon Osbourne blasts Amanda Holden

OHMYGOSSIP — Sharon Osbourne has hit back at Amanda Holden for calling her and Louis Walsh “bitter and pathetic”.
Amanda, 53, blasted Sharon and Louis, both 71, after they complained about Simon Cowell, 64, during their time on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
She told the Daily Mail newspaper: “I hated seeing certain people in a reality show dissing Simon – he’s the person who’s given them all the chances, given them a lot of money and a lifestyle they probably wouldn’t have had.
“It’s bitter and pathetic. It was like Cinderella with her two sisters in the background – just stabby, stabby, stabby.”
However, Sharon was furious and posted a lengthy response on X, which she tagged Amanda in.
She wrote: “@AmandaHolden I am responding to your interview with the @DailyMailUK News of 12 April. I respect the fact that you feel the need to defend your good friend and employer, Simon Cowell… However, a couple of your statements regarding myself are factually incorrect. The statement ‘I hated seeing certain people in a reality show dissing Simon – he’s the person who’s given them all the chances, given them a lot of money and lifestyle they probably wouldn’t have had’.
“The truth is, you don’t know me, Amanda. You know nothing about my history in the music industry, my achievements, the artists I have worked with, the shows that I’ve produced, and my global celebrity. Unlike you, the brand of Sharon Osbourne is known worldwide. There are many countries that I could work in if I choose to however, I don’t have the ambition or time to do so, and unlike you, I don’t work in radio or pantomime. Our worlds are totally different. I have been blessed with an amazing lifestyle throughout my entire life. Before you were born, I was living in a mansion in Beverly Hills and continue to do so today and continue to have my country estate in England as well. But there is something you should know. I never discuss money, lifestyle, or positions of power. I find it to be classless and crude. However, you’ve now forced my hand to divulge these things to you and I honestly don’t want to seem like I’m bragging, but the truth is my money and success were not due to doing a couple of Simon Cowell talent shows. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed doing them at the time as they were great fun. Yes, Simon paid me very well. Probably more than what you’re receiving today, but all of that my darling went on a few handbags.
“At the time that I worked on X Factor, I was the only judge who had global accomplishments with multiple million-selling artists, Grammy Award winners and arena and stadium headliners. I was also a very successful festival producer with Ozzfest which ran for 24 years, as well as a best-selling author and producer of the hit MTV show ‘The Osbournes’ for which I received an Emmy Award. Amanda, I think you’re missing the point here. No disrespect to Simon Cowell but he NEEDED ME for musical credibility on X Factor and I delivered for him and together all of us made a great team. It was only after several seasons of X Factor that Simon started to build his music empire and I give him much kudos for what he built. But in case you are living under a rock, my husband is a music icon who has sold 170 million albums, won 5 Grammy Awards, and is a Rock Roll Hall of Fame Inductee. We have been married 42 years and we had a fantastic lifestyle before I ever heard of Simon Cowell.
“On closing, I hope I’ve given you a proper education about me so that the next time you choose to mention me, you’ll have some facts in your pocket. The bottom line, Amanda, is, that you’ll never be in my league, and you’ve picked on the wrong ugly stepsister.Sharon Osbourne.”

Laura Anderson on life as a single parent

OHMYGOSSIP — Laura Anderson says being a single parent has been hard.
The former ‘Love Island’ star split from actor Gary Lucy, 42, before their daughter Bonnie was born and Laura admitted that while she never expected to be single when raising her child, she is determined to make it work for them.
She told The Mirror: “I think it was hard to get my head around initially, it wasn’t what I expected. But that’s the cards I was dealt in the end. Of course, I’m going to make it work for my child, even more so. I feel like I’m a really good mum, to be honest.”
However, Laura, 34, admitted that things can be difficult.
She said: “Prioritise what you need to do, it’s just me. I have to make it work. I am tired but of course, I’m going to be tired. I’m bringing up a human soul, that’s what I signed up for.
“[Bonnie’s] great, your social life does a take a little bit of a backseat but most people, your good friends understand that.
“Think how many mums out there are struggling with that work-life balance, it’s not just me. It’s so relatable and that’s the best thing about ‘Love Island’, having a social media following, I’ve really understood it more since having a baby. It’s so nice to resonate and it really is a positive place.
“It’s just full of mums, it’s not all about ‘you’re trying to look sexy all the time’ because that’s not important.”

Emma Stone to star in husband’s new movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Stone is in talks to star in her husband’s new film.
The ‘Poor Things’ star is set to collaborate with her spouse Dave McCary, 38, on an untitled Universal project, which she will star in and he will direct, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Patrick Kang and Michael Levin wrote the original screenplay for the film.
Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen and Dan Levine are set to produce with Michael H. Weber, Emma, Dave and Ali Herting.
Emma, 35, and Dave previously collaborated on ‘The Curse’, which they both executive produced and Emma starred in and they both served as producers on ‘A Real Pain’ and ‘When You Finish Saving the World’.
Emma is an Oscar-winning actress and Dave was previously a writer/director on ‘SNL’, where he and Emma first met in 2016.
The pair welcomed their first child together in 2021.
And, it was previously insisted that Dave is hugely supportive of Emma’s career.
A source told Us Weekly: “For Emma, quitting acting and being a stay-at-home mom would be like cutting off one of her limbs. That’s just not her. Acting is as vital to her as breathing, it’s a part of who she is—and Dave’s 100 percent behind her.
“She and Dave are happy as a couple and one of the reasons why is they respect each other as artists. They love their little family. Louise has brought them so much joy and they’re growing and learning every day. They’re in this together. Emma still has the Hollywood ambition and drive and determination to do her best work and it keeps her going, and she believes doing what she loves will also make her a better mom.”

Amy Hart horrified by trolls commenting on her weight

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Hart was horrified by trolls commenting on her weight.
The 31-year-old former ‘Love Island’ star – who welcomed son Stanley with fiance Sam Rason last year – revealed she faced abuse over her looks when she was named as host of the podcast for the ‘All Stars Love Island’ series.
She told The Sun newspaper: “Some people commented, ‘Oh my god I didn’t recognise her, she’s put on so much weight’ which was not nice to read.
“They’d seen me five years ago on TV when I was conscious I would be on national TV, so of course I’d made an effort to look my best.
“I was 57kg (8.9st). I was tiny. Looking at pictures now and I’m like ‘Jesus Christ’.
“I’m never going to get back there. I’m five years older, and I’ve had a baby.”
And, Amy insisted she is happy with her weight.
She said: “Everyone feels comfortable at different weights and right now I feel happy.
“I’ve decided I’ll wear the clothes that make me happy because I could get hit by a bus tomorrow.
“I do what I can to stay healthy because that is the greatest gift I can give Stanley, but I still enjoy things in moderation.
“I do love fast food – if I could eat it for three meals a day I would. I’d have lunch and two dinners which would be McDonald’s, KFC and Wingstop. But I don’t.
“I prioritise being healthy because that’s the most important thing I can do as a mum.”

Chloe Sims hurt by family feud

OHMYGOSSIP — Chloe Sims is “deeply hurt” by her family’s “heartbreaking” rift.
The 42-year-old former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star is estranged from her sisters Frankie, 29, and Demi, 27, after they fell out while filming reality TV show ‘The House Of Sims’ in Los Angeles.
However, she is still close to her brother and co-star Charlie, 32.
She told MailOnline: “The show was an incredible opportunity but, in a way, it has come with some downfalls. It has caused a big rift with my sisters. We are not on talking terms today.
“We haven’t spoken since they left LA and that would have been in October/November time. I have not seen or spoken to them since so filming series three will be awkward.
“To hear some of the things they said to me was really heartbreaking and I genuinely wasn’t expecting it… I was shocked to be honest.
“This is not a comfortable subject for me at all… They are obviously my little sisters but things that have gone down and things that have been said, I’m not going to repeat them, but things have hurt me deeply.
“I find it very difficult to get over things when it’s gone too far so I don’t know what the future holds but we’re locked into another two seasons, and we have to go ahead with it… in the meantime, I’m on my own… but I do have Charlie.”
And, Chloe admitted there were times when she was tempted to quit the show and move back to the UK.
She said: “There were even times where I threatened to move home. I said, ‘I’ve had enough, I’m leaving’ I have these dramatic moments where I look at the apartment and think, I’m going to ship all this back and I’m done I’m going… so, thank God for Charlie, who has managed to keep me grounded.”

Ant and Dec on the verge of tears as they say emotional goodbye to Saturday Night Takeaway viewers

OHMYGOSSIP — Ant and Dec never imagined that ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ would last more than “a couple of years”.
The Geordie duo, both 48, started hosting the ITV1 variety show in 2002 but earlier this year decided to bring the series to a close and amid a star-studded finale on Saturday (13.04.24), the presenters appeared emotional as they thanked the audience one last time.
Ant said: “‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ is the kind of show that Dec and I watched every Saturday night growing up so it has been an honour and a privilege to have made this show and have been part of your Saturday nights for over 20 years.”
Dec added: “When we started this back in 2002, we thought we’d be lucky if we got to do this for maybe a couple of years so what has happened has honestly been beyond our wildest dreams.
“We have truly adored every second of making this show.
“But there’s one thing we’ve never, ever forgotten and that is that it is not our show, it is your show. Thank you, to you, our incredible audience.”
For the last episode of the show, Ant and Dec took over the entirety of Television Centre in London and the finale episode saw the conclusion of several long-running skits such as ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Out Of Me Ear!’.
For the first time, the tables were turned as the presenters – who normally dish out instructional-based pranks to fellow celebrities via an earpiece – had to cause mayhem in a restaurant at the mercy of stars like Holly Willoughby, Rylan Clark, Cheryl and Oti Mabuse.
The episode also provided the last-ever edition of ‘Ant versus Dec’ – in which the pair of them compete against each other in a number of themed challenges – and Dec took the crown, thereby becoming the ultimate champion.
Tony Hadley, S Club and the Kaiser Chiefs all performed their signature tracks ‘Gold’, ‘Reach’ and ‘I Predict a Riot’ respectively during the karaoke segment, where a member of the public joined them to fill in a missing world in a bid to win a holiday.
A montage of best bits from over the years played towards the end of the show and the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ hosts joined McFly to perform a rewritten version of their 2005 hit ‘All About You’ dedicated to the audience.
For the final ‘End of Show Show’, Ant and Dec toured the television studios for a performance of Kool and the Gang classic ‘Celebration’ where they were joined by fellow TV stars including Alison Hammond, Andi Peters, Scarlett Moffatt and Roman Kemp as well as a host of others who had appeared over the years.
Girls Aloud had been providing announcements for the episode and also joined the boys on stage as a fireworks display began around the building before Ant and Dec wished the audience “goodnight and goodbye” for the last time.

Kelly Osbourne takes swipe at Amanda Holden

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Osbourne has seemingly taken a swipe at Amanda Holden following the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge’s war of words with her mother, Sharon Osbourne.
The former ‘X Factor’ judge hit out at the ex-‘Cutting It’ actress after she branded Sharon and her friend Louis Walsh “bitter and pathetic” over their remarks about Simon Cowell on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and now the 39-year-old star has shared a cryptic post about “delusional” people.
Kelly shared a clip by author Daniel Chidac on her Instagram Story in which he said: “Some people are really so delusional that they think it’s disrespectful when you don’t just sit back and allow them to disrespect you anymore.”
Amanda, 53, had blasted Sharon and Louis for “dissing” Simon after he gave them so many career opportunities.
She told the Daily Mail newspaper’s Weekend magazine: “I hated seeing certain people in a reality show dissing Simon – he’s the person who’s given them all the chances, given them a lot of money and a lifestyle they probably wouldn’t have had.
“It’s bitter and pathetic. It was like Cinderella with her two sisters in the background – just stabby, stabby, stabby.”
However, Sharon, 71, was furious over Amanda’s “factually incorrect” remarks, insisting she had been hugely successful before working on ‘The X Factor’.
In a lengthy statement shared to X, Sharon wrote in part: “The truth is, you don’t know me, Amanda. You know nothing about my history in the music industry, my achievements, the artists I have worked with, the shows that I’ve produced, and my global celebrity.
“Unlike you, the brand of Sharon Osbourne is known worldwide. There are many countries that I could work in if I choose to however, I don’t have the ambition or time to do so, and unlike you, I don’t work in radio or pantomime. Our worlds are totally different…

‘Sometimes you have to take one for the team’: Stephen McKinley Henderson not ‘heartbroken’ over being cut from Dune: Part Two

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen McKinley Henderson was “disappointed, but not heartbroken” to be cut from Dune: Part Two’.
The 74-year-old actor reprised his role as House Atreides mentat Thufir Hawat in Denis Villeneuve’s sequel and though his scenes ended up on the cutting room floor, he has no regrets because he still had a great time filming in Budapest.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: “Well, sometimes, you have to take one for the team, and Denis went into the editing room and he came out with a wonderful film. It really is a wonderful film.
“So I can say I was disappointed, but not heartbroken.
“I’m still glad to be a part of Denis’ vision. He’s a wonderful filmmaker, and it was such a kick to shoot what I did shoot in ‘Part Two’.
“I also had a great lunch with Christopher Walken that I’ll never forget. It happened to happen because we ran into each other in the restaurant.
“And [working with] Austin [Butler] and Stellan [Skarsgård] and Timothée [Chalamet], I have no regrets whatsoever about being a part of the family. And that crazy Josh Brolin! Boy, that guy is fabulous.”
The veteran actor confirmed his storyline that was cut from the show was “faithful” to Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel, which saw Hawat captured before going on to put the Harkonnens against each other.
