‘Get us while we’re still breathing!’ Bette Midler urges Disney to hurry up with Hocus Pocus 3

OHMYGOSSIP — Bette Midler has urged Disney to hurry up with ‘Hocus Pocus 3’ while the cast are “still breathing”.
The 78-year-old star reprised her role as witch Winifred ‘Winnie’ Sanderson in the successful fantasy comedy sequel in 2022, and she hopes to see the script soon because time is “barrel-assing to the finish line”.
Speaking on Busy Philipps’ QVC+ talk show ‘Busy This Week’, she said: “I haven’t seen the script, but, I’ve heard rumblings.
“I think if they’re gonna, they oughta, because time is not just marching, time is barrel-assing to the finish line.
“Get us while we’re still breathing, I mean, God!”
Midler also admitted on the show that she initially thought the 1993 original movie was a “dud”, until it later became a “cult classic”.
Last month, the star revealed talks have taken place regarding a third film in the franchise.
She told SiriusXM’s ‘The Jess Cagle Show’: “Now, they’re kind of talking about a third, very gingerly and very gently.
“They are. They’re talking about a third. The second one was a huge success.”
Midler – who leads the cast alongside Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as the Sanderson sisters – says her alter ego is “probably the least like me of any character” that she has played during an acting career that has spanned more than half a century.
The ‘Stepford Wives’ star said: “She is the closest thing I will ever get to Shakespeare. She’s from the era, from the time of Shakespeare.
“She really does put it on, and yet she has all the great things you love in a great villain. She’s vicious, she’s hilarious, she’s ridiculous-looking, and she doesn’t know any of that. It goes completely over her head.”

Ex-Love Island star Olivia Hawkins defends Jess White as she blasts Diamante Laiva

OHMYGOSSIP — Former ‘Love Island’ star Olivia Hawkins has blasted Casa Amor bombshell Diamante Laiva over some “disgusting comments”.
The season nine Islander has taken issue with Diamante, who appeared in this year’s ‘Love Island’ and shared a smooch with Sean Stone before he ditched her during the Casa Amor recoupling episode, after she accused fellow former Islander Jess White of being “a bully”.
Diamante said on the Kiss Fresh podcast: “If Jess was here right now I’d just tell her, ‘Listen, you’re not the prize, you’re a bully. You need to stop bullying people because it not a good look.’
“I don’t know if she feels like doing this is giving her props, but the girls in the villa are intimated by Jess and I don’t think that’s a good dynamic to have when you’re supposed to be getting along with people.”
But Olivia has shot to Jess’ defence, by hitting out at Diamante.
She wrote: “So disgusted by this interview. Calling someone a bully on a big radio show can be so detrimental.
“There’s definitely better ways you can articulate yourself.
“Jess and other Islanders don’t deserve the nasty treatment they’re getting.
“Lets not add fuel to the fire, especially someone whose been on the show and knows how it can be coming out.”
Jess was dumped from the villa on Wednesday night’s (10.07.24) episode alongside Hugo Godfroy, Emma Milton and Blade Siddiqi.
When asked to describe her ‘Love Island’ experience, she said: “Unbelievable, life changing and the best experience of my life. I’d do it again ten times over.”
‘Love Island’ returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, and in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.

Zara McDermott lands new BBC Morning Live role for bullying documentary

OHMYGOSSIP — Zara McDermott is fronting a new documentary about bullying for BBC’s ‘Morning Live’.
The former ‘Love Island’ star – who appeared on last year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and has produced a string of documentaries for the Beeb – has landed a presenting role with the broadcaster leading the new report in conjunction with The Open University.
The film – which will be aired on Thursday’s (11.07.24) episode of the weekday programme and on iPlayer – will delve into online trolling.
In the expose, Zara reveals that her own online bullies are ordinary people, including teachers, parents and nurses.
The investigation centres on the idea of ‘Everyday Extremism’, and how sharing what appears to be innocuous content can actually contribute to hate speech.
She said: “I had a perception in my head that a troll was someone who sat in a dark room in a laptop all day spewing out hateful comments online.
“But actually these people are people with normal jobs, with friends, with children.”
In the film, Zara speaks to Open University’s Professor Kesi Mahendran, who discussed the way memes and jokes can escalate online.
He explained: “The key moment is when you communicate hostility to another person, and quite often you’ve done it by using something that may not actually be true and you’re putting it out there because it damages that person or that group’s reputation.”
The 27-year-old star rose to fame on ‘Love Island’ in 2018, and last year she admitted she no longer sees herself as a reality star.
After becoming the first former Islander to be cast on ‘Strictly’, she told reporters: “I know obviously I am the first ‘Love Island’ contestant to do it, but I don’t think there was ever specifically a ban for it. I just think that maybe the show wanted someone who had ventured out of that box, really. But look, I’m really proud of my background and where I’ve come from because I’ve grown so much and done so many things, so it does feel absolutely incredible.
“But also at the same time you know I don’t see myself that much as like a reality person anymore, with the work I do now.”

Ulrika Jonsson defends Kym Marsh from ‘jealous trolls’ criticising 19 year age gap with new partner

OHMYGOSSIP — Ulrika Jonsson has defended Kym Marsh over the 19-year age gap with her boyfriend.
The former ‘Gladiators’ host has spoken out after the 48-year-old former ‘Coronation Street’ star – who got divorced from her third husband Scott Ratcliff last year – was criticised for her new romance with singer and vocal coach Samuel Thomas, 29.
Addressing the backlash, Ulrika wrote for The Sun newspaper: “Lest we forget, trolls rarely, if ever, say things from a place of love. These comments came from a place of discomfort, jealousy and with the sole aim of shaming.”
The 56-year-old star noted that she has similarly been married three times and has kids “by different fathers”, but she also isn’t giving up on the idea of love.
She said: “With three marriages under her belt and children by different fathers, how very dare she fall in love again with someone she is already calling her ‘soul mate’?
“This kind of behaviour makes people feel deeply uncomfortable. It doesn’t sit well with them. In fact, I’m sure many would prefer her to be miserable and broken-hearted until the end of time.
“Here she is in all her amorous glory, showing the world her quest for love has, once more, succeeded. I’m thrilled for her.”
Ulrika pointed out that “things have changed”, with people “living longer” and divorce no longer caryring the same “stigma”.
She continued: “Kym doesn’t give up. I don’t understand why people can’t see that as a virtue, as tenacious and courageous. She runs her own race.
“Although, historically, women probably suffered greater shame and disgrace as divorcees, we are learning to see the end of relationships or marriages is not a ‘failure’.
“Things run their course, people change, circumstances change and we know now we don’t have to shut up and put up for the rest of our lives.”
Kym and Samuel met while working on a production of ‘101 Dalmatians The Musical’ together and over the weekend she made the romance Instagram official by sharing a picture of the pair kissing.
She wrote: “Met the most amazing man ever! Sometimes the most unexpected things happen at the most unexpected times. @samuelthomasuk I love you #beautiful #soulmate #loveyou.”

Alan Carr’s dad asks for Changing Ends spoilers despite it being about his life

OHMYGOSSIP — Alan Carr’s dad asks for spoilers of the second series of his sitcom, despite it being based on their own lives.
The ‘Chatty Man’ host is gearing up for the next season of his ‘Changing Ends’ show, which details his younger years growing up as the gay son of a Northampton Town football manager, Graham Carr, in the 1980s, and revealed his father cannot wait to see his life recreated on the small screen.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, he said: “My dad loves it. He says, ‘Alan, what’s happening in series two?’ I say, ‘Dad, it’s your life. You’ve been there the first time round.’
“He wants spoilers in his own life.
“My dad is the biggest fan.”
Alan confessed he teased his mum Christine Carr that a man might have to portray her because she has “very broad shoulders”.
But his mother arranged a meal for her and Graham to meet actors Nancy Sullivan and Shaun Dooley, who play them in the ITV sitcom.
Alan said: “My mum was worried, and I was teasing her saying, ‘Mum, you’ve got very broad shoulders. A man might have to play you.’
“I was winding her up and saying all these people, ‘Chuck Norris, Hulk Hogan,’ but we had a lovely meal and she met Nancy [Sullivan], who plays her. I told her, ‘It’s not a hatchet job. It’s a lovely script.’ ”
Alan admitted he would love to make a third series, but he will have to write it later because Oliver Savell, who plays a young Alan, is growing so quickly.
He added: “I would love to do more, but what I noticed was when Oli came in he has grown so much.
“There was a few boxes and camera angles to make him look … so if we did come back we’ll have to go a little bit later and make 1989.”

Faye Brookes had ‘breakdowns’ over Dancing On Ice ‘loneliness’

OHMYGOSSIP — Faye Brookes suffered “breakdowns” during her ‘Dancing On Ice’ stint.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star – who joined the ITV soap in 2015 and spent four years on the cobbles as Kate Connor – was a runner-up on the celebrity figure skating competition in the 2021 series, which took place with restrictions due to the pandemic.
Speaking on her new ‘Not Fazed With Faye’ podcast, she told former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star Kevin Clifton: “I felt like I had to be this princess that I could do it all and I was perfect.
“No, no, no. Nobody saw the bruises, nobody saw the tears, the breakdowns that I had over that. It was quite lonely at times.”
The 36-year-old actress admitted it was tough having to “really abide by” the rules and regulations in place at the time to stop the spread of COVID-19.
She added: “I’m not saying it’s lonely at the top, because I’m not at the top, but my Dancing On Ice was in lockdown so we were stuck with these rules and had to really abide by these rules, every week, every Sunday – doing what we were told just so the show could go up.”
While she was competing on ‘Dancing On Ice’, Faye was dating personal trainer Joe Davies after breaking up from fiance Gareth Gates in 2019.
She said: “I really felt that at times I was so caught up in my head and I couldn’t get out of my head. I needed my loved ones near me, just a support system, someone to talk to.”
After breaking up with Joe in 2022, she started dating theatre director Iwan Lewis, who she had been friends with for 11 years before their relationship blossomed.
Next month, the loved up couple will celebrate their first wedding anniversary, and Faye admitted their marriage and move to the Cotswolds was “the best decision [she] ever made”.
She said: “I’ve never been so content. I honestly never thought I could be this happy. I’m feeling very content, very settled.”

The 57-year-old comedian – who is a huge Liverpool FC fan – was due to perform at Wolverhampton’s Civic Hall at 8pm on Sunday, the exact time England will kick off against Spain in the Euro 2024 final, after they defeated Netherlands 2-1 in Wednesday night’s (10.07.24) semi-final.
However, he has now changed the show’s start time to 2pm, to make sure he will be done in time to watch the Three Lions try to win the European Championship for the first-time ever.
A statement on the venue’s website read: “Due to England’s success in Euro 2024, the decision has been taken to move John Bishop’s evening show at The Civic Hall to earlier in the day to avoid clashing with the final.
“Doors will now open at 12:30pm with the show starting at 2pm.
“All tickets remain valid for the show.”
John also said in a statement: “When Gareth Southgate didn’t pick me I didn’t think I would be watching the Euros but like everyone else I have been caught up in the tournament. It is brilliant that England are in the final and to avoid people having to decide if they can watch the match or the show we are moving the show timings so we can all go home and watch it.
Football’s coming home…
and so am I”
John first alerted his fans to the schedule change on Wednesday night, straight after England’s semi-final win.
In a video on X, he said: “This is a message to all the people coming to Wolverhampton on Sunday.
“I’m not doing the show at eight o’clock. The show’s gonna get moved to the afternoon.
“You will all get an email in the morning telling you the time.
“I know it won’t suit everybody, so anyone who can’t make it we’ll give you a refund.
“But we’re definitely going to move the time to Sunday afternoon, because there’s no chance I’m going to be doing it at eight o’clock, because I’m going to be busy watching these boys.”
John then panned the camera to the TV, which featured England’s players celebrating their famous victory following Ollie Watkins’ last-minute winner.

Euro 2024 final causes TV scheduling disruption as favourite shows are moved for England match

OHMYGOSSIP — England’s Euro 2024 final match has caused TV schedule disruption for some regular shows on Sunday (14.07.24).
The Three Lions booked their place in the tournament finale on Wednesday night (10.07.24) with an epic 2-1 victory over Netherlands in Dortmund, Germany, courtesy of Ollie Watkins’ last-minute winner.
England manager Gareth Southgate and his players will face Spain in Berlin on Sunday in the final of the spectacle, and the game is scheduled to kick off at 8pm.
However, some fans of ‘Countryfile’ – which is hosted by the likes of John Craven and Helen Skelton – may be disappointed as the timing of the regular programme has been brought forward to 5.40pm on Sunday.
What’s more, the BBC has been airing repeats of ‘Antiques Roadshow’ on Sundays, but it is not scheduled to air this Sunday.
BBC One will air live coverage of the Euro 2024 final on Sunday from 7pm, with the game kicking off at 8pm.
What’s more, the match will also be on ITV1.

OHMYGOSSIP — Former ‘Love Island’ star Jordan Mainoo-Hames is the “proudest in the damn world” of his brother Kobbie Mainoo, after he starred in England’s Euro 2024 semi-final victory.
The 29-year-old reality TV star was in the stadium in Dortmund, Germany, on Wednesday night (10.07.24) to watch his 19-year-old Manchester United midfielder sibling become the youngest player to play for England in the semi-final of a major tournament.

But the model and reality TV star’s Moschino sunglasses were destroyed during the celebrations, after Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins struck a last-minute winner to send England into the final.
Jordan wrote: “Shades took a hit when we scored”
The star also shared some pictures of Three Lions hero Watkins greeting relatives in the stands after the game.
Jordan wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance in Berlin, as Adele, 36, and Ed Sheeran, 33, were seen cheering England to victory from the stands in Dortmund.

Referring to Queen Camilla, 76, the 75-year-old monarch – who is undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer – said in a light-hearted statement: “My wife and I join all our family in wishing you the warmest congratulations on reaching the final of the U.E.F.A. European Championship – and in sending our very best wishes for Sunday’s (14.07.24) match.

“Good luck, England.”

Strictly Come Dancing legend returning as pro dancer

OHMYGOSSIP — Aljaz Skorjanec is returning to ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ as a professional dancer.
The 34-year-old star will be back for the BBC Latin and ballroom show’s 20th series later this year, following a two-year hiatus.
Aljaz – who quit ‘Strictly’ in 2022, a year after his wife Janette Manrara, who welcomed their first child, Lyra, into the world in July 2023 – said: “I could not be more ecstatic to be back with the ‘Strictly’ family.
“This year is such a special one for this legendary show, I can’t wait to be a part of it and make my return to the dancefloor.
“I had an absolute ball during my nine year stint on Strictly, during my time away I became a parent, which has been an exciting challenge in itself and now I’m ready to experience the ‘Strictly’ magic again.
“It feels so right to be coming back, I missed the fun, glitter and the judges of course and I hope to make my daughter Lyra proud!”
Sarah James, Executive Producer of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, added: “We are all so thrilled that Aljaz is back in the ‘Strictly’ Ballroom, bringing his incredible choreography and passion for dance.

Jurassic Park legend Jeff Goldblum sent Scarlett Johansson a message welcoming her to the family

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeff Goldblum sent Scarlett Johansson a message welcoming her to the ‘Jurassic’ family.
The 39-year-old actress is set to take the lead in the upcoming fourth ‘Jurassic World’ movie, and she received a surprise from the 71-year-old actor, who first played Dr. Ian Malcolm in 1993’s original ‘Jurassic Park’ movie.
In a video played during her interview on ‘Today’ this week, he said: “Dr. Johansson, this is Jeff Goldblum.”
Referencing the franchise’s iconic “Life will find a way” quote, he added: “Here’s what I want to say to you. This I know: Scarlett will find a way.
“Don’t get eaten, unless you want to. I love you.”
Goldblum reprise his role as Dr. Malcolm in three more sequels, including his return in 2022’s ‘Jurassic World Dominion’.
Johasson – who previously worked with him on ‘Asteroid City’ – was overjoyed by his kind gesture.
She said: “Oh my God, I can’t believe Jeff said that to me. I think my life is complete now. I can retire.”
Goldblum isn’t expected to be part of the new ‘Jurassic World’ film, which is an entirely new story separate from the ‘Jurassic World’ trilogy starring Chris PRatt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
‘Rogue One’ and ‘Godzilla’ director Gareth Edwards will be at the helm, directing from a script written by David Koepp, who penned ‘Jurassic Park’ in 1993, and its sequel ‘The Lost World: Jurassic Park’ four years later.
Last month, Johansson hailed the script as “so incredible”.
She told ComicBook.com: “I am an enormous ‘Jurassic Park’ fan. It is one of the first movies I remember seeing in theaters.
“I remember it so vividly. It was life-changing and mind blowing. I cannot express how excited I am.”
And she admitted she has spent more than a decade trying to land a role in the franchise.
She added: “David Koepp wrote it and returned after 30 years to write it and he’s so passionate about.
“I’ve been trying to get into this franchise in any possible way for over 10 years.
“I’m like, ‘I’ll die in the first five minutes! I can get eaten by whatever! I’ll do the craft service!’
“I’ll do anything for it. The fact that it’s happened in this way at this time just is actually unbelievable.”

The Devil Wears Prada sequel ‘in the works at Disney’

OHMYGOSSIP — A ‘Devil Wears Prada’ sequel is said to be in the works.
Meryl Streep is thought to be in line to reprise her role as high-powered magazine editor Miranda Priestly in the follow up to the original 2006 movie, according to Puck News.
It’s not yet known whether Anne Hathaway will be back to reprise her role as Andy Sachs in the Disney motion picture, but Emily Blunt is set to return as Emily Charlton.
According to Variety, ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna is in talks about a return to pen the sequel.
Early reports have indicated the movie will tell the story of Priestly going up against her former colleague Charlton, who is now a high-powered executive.
News of the follow-up film comes just four months after Hathaway told ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ fans they “don’t need to worry about a sequel”, despite author Lauren Weisberger penning ‘Revenge Wears Prada’.
She told E! News: “I don’t think a continuation of that story is probably ever gonna happen.”
Hathaway joked the trio will “continue to give out awards to other people”, but rubbished the idea of a sequel.
The actress admitted she “would love” to see the trio reunite with director David Frankel, but she wants the original movie to stand alone.
She said: “The truth of the matter is – with any film – all we can do is make it.
“The reason that movie felt so special was that we were a team and we did that work, but really it’s the love that everybody pours to it.
“Let’s just keep the thing that we all agree with love.”
Hathaway played aspiring journalist Sachs in the movie, who is hired as a personal assistant to fashion magazine editor Priestly.
However, there were some concerns Hollywood veteran Streep wouldn’t be “funny” enough for the part.
Speaking on the ‘Hollywood Gold’ podcast, producer Wendy Finerman previously said: “Meryl, people thought we were crazy. I mean, I had people call me up and say, ‘Are you out of your mind? She’s never been funny a day in her life.’
“But this was clearly a different kind of world for her, and I think that that was part of the fun of the unexpected.”

Danny Dyer thinks Mr Bigstuff role proves he was ‘right’ to quit EastEnders

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Dyer thinks his role in ‘Mr Bigstuff’ has proved quitting ‘EastEnders’ was “the right decision”.
The 46-year-old actor – who decided to leave Albert Square in 2022 after nine years as Mick Carter on the BBC soap – has a leading role in the new Sky comedy from ‘Brassic’ writer Ryan Sampson, and starring alongside the show’s creator and scribe has been validating.
Asked if he quit ‘EastEnders’ because he’d read Ryan’s script, he told Radio Times magazine: “Ryan was probably whispering in the ear of a witchcraft doll to tell me to leave…
“No, I needed to leave; this cemented that I’d made the right decision.
“People said, ‘Oh he’ll be back, he won’t get more work’. How wrong were they?”
Ryan was determined to find a way to play “brothers” with Danny after seeing his cameo appearance in ‘Plebs’ 11 years ago.
He recalled: “After Danny had a cameo on ‘Plebs’, I got it into my head to write something about us as brothers.
“I thought it was funny: I’m a tiny gay from up north and he’s, well, Danny Dyer. A producer said, ‘It’s great – but you do know Danny’s in EastEnders?’
“I hadn’t considered that soaps film day in, day out, all year. I was crestfallen.
“But that weekend came the headline, ‘Dyer quits EastEnders’. It was God’s plan, talking to me through the Daily Express!”
Ryan plays Glen in the show, with the Sky synopsis describing the character as “a nervy perfectionist and carpet salesman” who wants the idylic suburban life.
Meanwhile, his brother Lee (Danny) is an alpha male with a prescription drug addiction and a biscuit tin full of their dad’s ashes”.
The synposis reads: “Glen and his fiancée Kirsty share a perfect, perfectly mundane life together. Sure, Glen’s got crippling erectile dysfunction and Kirsty (Harriet Webb) has a secret shoplifting habit, but they’re happy.
“That is until Lee comes crashing into their lives, whilst on the run from a past that’s quickly catching up with him.
“The trio are forced together: a perfectionist, a fantasist and an anarchist all living under the same roof in an Essex cul-de-sac. It’s not long before their ‘perfect’ lives start to unravel faster than the weave of a cheap carpet.”

Shirley Ballas defends Giovanni Pernice

OHMYGOSSIP — Shirley Ballas has defended Giovanni Pernice amid the ongoing BBC investigation into his behaviour.
The head judge of the BBC One Latin and ballroom show insisted she knows nothing about the investigation into the 33-year-old Italian dancer- who was popular with viewers – amid allegations of “threatening and abusive behaviour” towards his former partners on the show but insisted he is a “good friend of mine”.
She told The Sun: “I’ve known Giovanni for 10 years, and he’s a good friend of mine. But I’m not involved on any side of that [the investigation].
“I think before I speak, and I stay in my lane, which is ballroom dancing. I think everybody goes into ‘Strictly’ with the best will in the world to entertain the country.”
She also revealed that things can get heated during a competition.
She explained: “You don’t want to kill their enthusiasm or the thought that they can be the Glitterball champion. So, I think sometimes, words can be cruel and people deliver them in not a great way. I learned the difference.
“I can be super-strict when somebody is trying to win the gold medal, then I can still be quite strict but in a positive way on ‘Strictly’ so they will learn something. That’s always ongoing for me. I’m always searching for the best way I can bring great constructive criticism.”
Shirley, 63, has previously defended Giovanni, telling the Daily Mirror newspaper: “He has always been to me, and I will make that clear, to me, a perfect gentleman.
“My feeling for Giovanni is, let them do this investigation or whatever it is they are doing, and the truth will come out.
“I have never ever, ever experienced any ill will or bad feeling or bad sportsmanship or rudeness from him.”

Davina McCall won’t join Britain’s Got Talent

OHMYGOSSIP — Davina McCall will never join ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.
Although the 56-year-old presenter has been filling in for ‘BGT’ judge Amanda Holden on her Heart radio show, she insisted she has no plans to ever step into her shows on the reality TV talent show.
She told The Mirror: “It’s one thing stepping in for Amanda on Heart, but I couldn’t fill a seat on ‘BGT’. I feel that that would be wrong in some way. Amanda is on Heart every day, but ‘BGT’ is massive. I couldn’t do it!”
Meanwhile, Davina previously admitted she feared her career was over after ‘Big Brother’.
The TV icon was the host of the reality show for a decade between 2000 and 2010, and she admitted she worried she wouldn’t get any job offers as good as the popular programme.
She is quoted by The Mirror as saying: “Every other show I tried to do alongside ‘Big Brother’ has been a bit of a turkey.
“I was like – without ‘Big Brother’, who am I?”
Davina – who has also presented ‘The Jump’, ‘Million Pound Drop’, ‘Streetmate’, and ‘Long Lost Family’ – landed her own chat show in 2006 on the BBC, but it failed to attract the masses.
The show was axed after just one series due to low ratings, with one episode attracting fewer than 2.3 million viewers.
The star is currently a judge on ITV’s ‘The Masked Singer’.

Kym Marsh finds love with ‘soulmate’ co-star

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh has found love again with her “soulmate” co-star Samuel Thomas a year after the breakdown of her third marriage.
The pop star-turned-actress, 48, has revealed she’s in a relationship with Samuel after meeting him while they were working on a production of ‘101 Dalmatians The Musical’ together and she’s now made the romance Instagram official by sharing a picture of the pair kissing.
Alongside the snap, Kym wrote: “Met the most amazing man ever! Sometimes the most unexpected things happen at the most unexpected times. @samuelthomasuk I love you #beautiful #soulmate #loveyou.”
Samuel replied to her post by commenting: “I love you”.
He also added a picture of the pair together on his own Instagram account, writing: “I didn’t expect you, but here you are. I love you.”
Kim replied to the post: “Ditto. The best things happen unexpectedly. Love you too.”
The new romance comes a year after Kym split from her third husband Scott Ratcliff with the former couple parting ways in May 2023 – just 13 months after they tied the knot.
An insider previously told The Sun newspaper that Kym’s relationship with Scott broke down because they were both so busy while the screen star was taking part in TV talent show ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The source said: “They both really tried to make it work, but the cracks have been there for a while and they were only getting to see each other for one or two days a week at the very most … It’s very sad for all involved.”
She was previously married to actor Jack Ryder – the father of her kids David, 29, and Emilie, 27, from 2002 until 2009 and then to ‘Hollyoaks’ star Jamie Lomas. Kym is mum to a 13-year-old daughter – Polly – with Jamie.
