Peter Andre speaks out about his time on Strictly: ‘I can only comment on my own experience…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Andre “was surrounded by a great bunch of people” during his time on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 51-year-old pop star took part in the 13th series of the BBC Latin and ballroom competition in 2015 alongside professional partner Janette Manrara and even though the show is currently investigating allegations of bullying, he only had positive things to say about his time on the series as he reminded fans that accusations still need to be proven.
Writing in his OK! Magazine column, he said: “I’ve been reading a lot about what’s going on with ‘Strictly’ at the moment but I can really only comment about my own experience on the show. I was surrounded by a great bunch of people. We don’t know what is true but accusations are still only accusations until they’re proven.”
However, the ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker is also in favour of the broadcaster’s decision to record rehearsals and offer chaperones to the celebrities to try to alleviate the issues at hand even though he still thinks that it will be a “difficult time” for the Saturday night favourite going forward.
“On the other hand, things like this just shouldn’t be happening behind closed doors. It’s going to be a difficult time for Strictly and for all those involved. The show could be in the spotlight for a different reason this year.”
In recent weeks, Graziano Di Prima has been axed by the BBC Latin and ballroom show last week amid reports of alleged misconduct relating to how he treated his 2023 partner Zara McDermott, and fellow professional dancer Giovanni Pernice will also not be returning to the programme amid allegations about his treatment of his celebrity dance partners such as ‘Sherlock’ actress Amanda Abbington.
In the case of the former, ‘Love Island’ contestant Zara, 27, broke her silence with a lengthy statement in which she claimed that her experience in the rehearsal space had been “very different” to her time on the dancefloor.
She said: “So much of my ‘Strictly’ experience was everything I could have dreamt of. The entire production team and everyone behind the scenes as well as my fellow contestants were so amazing to work with.
“However, my experience inside the training room was very different.
“Reports have been made about my treatment on the show and there were witnesses to some events, as well as videos of particular incidents which are incredibly distressing to watch. I have wrestled with the fear of opening up – I was scared about public backlash, I was scared about my future, I was scared of victim shaming.
“But after a lot of conversations with those I love, I’ve gained the strength to face these fears, and when I was asked to speak to the BBC, I spoke candidly about my time on the show.
“The culture within our society makes it difficult for people to speak up, especially in a world where social media opinions and voices are so loud. “This is something I’ve seen through working with countless women on my documentaries.”
The documentary maker concluded her post by thanking the BBC for their “swift action and incredibly high level of support”.
She added: “I would like to thank the BBC and BBC Studios for their swift action and incredibly high level of support, as well as everyone who has reached out to me – it really truly means a lot.”

Hi-de-Hi legend Su Pollard to revive iconic character Peggy almost 40 years after BBC sitcom ended

OHMYGOSSIP — Su Pollard is to revive her ‘Hi-de-Hi’ character Peggy Ollerenshaw for a UK tour.
The 74-year-old actress played the role of the Maplins holiday camp maid who dreamed of being a Yellowcoat performer on the classic BBC sitcom in the 1980s and she will bring the part back as part of a new show to celebrate her 50 years in showbusiness that will venture up and down the UK from September.
She said: “The show will be celebrating my 50 years in showbusiness. Peggy will be making an appearance… she will be there. I’ll be doing a sketch in the iconic costume. I’m looking forward to it.”
The sitcom star is also known for her role in ‘You Rang, M’Lord?’ but has also been a regular in pantomime over the years and has enjoyed several runs as Miss Hannigan in ‘Annie’ so teased that the new show will have “a bit of everything” as she prepares to reveal backstage stories that have never been told before.
She added: “The show will have a bit of everything. I’ll be doing songs and revealing stuff that happened backstage… things that people don’t know about. I can’t cover everything I’ve done in my career because then the show would last for four nights. People would nod off… they’d miss their bus home.
“But I’ll do as much as I can in the time frame.”
In 2022, Su’s ‘Hi-De-Hi’ co-star Ruth Madoc passed away at the age of 79 and the ‘Oh, Doctor Beeching!’ actress was starring in a production of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ at the time, where she remained convinced that her friend was watching over her as she took to the stage.
She told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “I made a little speech at the end. As I said, ‘Thank you so much, she would’ve been delighted with the tributes’, my crown went forward on my head.
“I said, ‘Ruth is watching us. She’s not quite ready to settle into heaven yet’. The audience applauded – it was fabulous.”

Skins star Megan Prescott realised Hollywood wasn’t on the cards so joined OnlyFans: ‘Life-changing’

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Prescott worried she would “never work again” on TV when she started stripping.
The 33-year-old actress first found fame when she played the role of Katie Fitch on the E4 teen drama ‘Skins’ in the late 2000s and had to go through “a bit of a reality check” when she realised that work of a similar nature was not guaranteed so opted for a more risque career but quickly gave it up out of worry.
She told Metro.co.uk: “I do think it was an important show because it highlighted issues that weren’t being discussed at the time, especially for young people. Obviously, some of it was glamourised but I do think it was a good thing that ‘Skins’ was made.
“‘It was my dream job and I couldn’t have asked for anything better, it was all I wanted.
“Then after ‘Skins’, I had a bit of a reality check where I was like, “oh, actually, you don’t just go from a TV show to Hollywood. You’re not set for life, it is hard work and you don’t just get things handed to you.”
“The second I started stripping there was a lot of internalised misogyny. I thought ‘I can’t tell people this, if anyone in the acting industry finds out I’ll never work again.’ I think a decade ago that would have been true, unfortunately. So I went back to doing regular side jobs for minimum wage.”
The TV star – who last appeared on screen in an episode of ‘EastEnders’ in 2022 – began a profile on the adults-only subscription service OnlyFans during the COVID-19 pandemic and is also a keen bodybuilder so is hoping that she can be “relatable” in a way to help those struggling with their own body image.
She said: “It completely changed my life.
“There was a huge amount of body shaming, huge – there still is – but it was unreal back then. I’ve tried to package it in a way that is relatable, but it’s not re-traumatizing. Hopefully.”

No politicans will feature on this year’s edition of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ will not feature any politicians this year.
The ITV1 reality show – which will return to screens towards the end of 2024 – featured Nigel Farage prior to his victory with Reform UK in last year’s series and the year before that, former health minister Matt Hancock was seen competing in the Australian jungle but just weeks after the General Election, bosses have are said to have decided that their audience will have “had enough” of politicians on screen for now.
A source told The Daily Star newspaper: “They’re not doing politicians this year. It’s been a heightened year for everyone when it comes to politics, what with the General Election.
“People have definitely had enough of seeing them on their screens.”
Other politicians to have featured on the programme over the course of the long-running reality show include former Labour MP Lembit Opik in 2008, as well as former Conservative MPs Nadine Dorries and Edwina Currie in 2012 and 2014 respectively.
In February, it was reported ITV bosses were considering banning politicians from ‘IAC’ as hosts Ant and Dec had grown tired of them.
An industry insider told the Daily Mirror: “In the past it’s been really interesting to see which politicians are willing to join the show, with some even serving MPs.
“But this year, with an election looming, it doesn’t feel like the right moment for that.
“Coming on top of Farage not helping to pull in the punters last year, and Ant and Dec making it clear they want a change, this year it’s a case of avoid, avoid, avoid.
“It’s time for something different so it’s fair to say no one is seeking any controversial figures from the world of politics at this stage.”

Edwina Currie: The younger Strictly contestants are not prepared to work hard

OHMYGOSSIP — Edwina Currie thinks younger ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestants are not always prepared to put in the “hard work” that the programme requires.
The former Conservative politician, 77, took part in the 2011 edition of the BBC Latin and ballroom show – which has come under fire in recent weeks as professionals Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima have been accused of bullying celebrities in rehearsals – and suggested that these days, those who compete need to realise that there is “a lot more effort” needed than what they may think when they sign up.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, she said: “I was prepared to give it a go and I had a good experience but it was dead, dead, dead hard work and that’s a big surprise to people. Some of the younger contestants these days don’t realise that it does take an awful lot more effort than just washing a footpath or something and putting it on TikTok. I think that’s part of the problem.”
“Occasionally you would get professionals thinking that one or two of the celebs were a bit lazy, and they were often right but you just have to shrug and go with it.”
Edwina believes that the overall “tone” of the show has changed in recent years and thinks that it seems to have become “much more competitive” over the last few series, even though it just used to be about the “entertainment” value.
She said: “I think a few years ago, the tone of the programme changed. Maybe the producers changed, I don’t know. It became much more competitive, it became much more about very high quality dancing and the standard rose dramatically. It used to be much more about entertainment. I think the viewers show when they vote that they like the entertaining characters, the people who have never danced before. ”
Former ‘Love Island’ contestant Zara McDermott, 27, recently claimed she was “kicked” by Graziano in rehearsals and sometimes “locked herself in the toilet” out of fear even though she signed up to the show fully aware of the dedication that was needed.
She said: “When I was invited to be a contestant on the show it really was a childhood dream come true. I fully understood the level of commitment and hard work that Strictly was going to be and I dedicated everything to it. I am a resilient person and I was fully prepared to put in whatever it took.
“And so much of my Strictly experience was everything I could have dreamt of. The entire production team and everyone behind the scenes as well as my fellow contestants were so amazing to worth with.”
The broadcaster has decided that going forward, celebrities will be given chaperones for their time on the show and, amid the official investigation, rehearsals will be recorded.
Meanwhile, Giovanni has previously rejected “any suggestion of abusive or threatening behaviour” and said he was surprised by the allegations made against him.

EastEnders star Danny Dyer reveals if he has ever had a holiday romance

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Dyer has never had a holiday romance.
The 46-year-old actor tied the knot with Joanne Mas – with whom he has Dani, 27, Sunnie, 17 and nine-year-old Arty – in 2016 but when asked if he had any other dalliances throughout his time, admitted that was never really an option because he has been in a relationship with her since they were at school.
Speaking on Alan Carr’s ‘Life’s A Beach’ podcast, he said: “No, no, well I’ve been with my missus since I was 13. Mad, innit? We were at school together. So I didn’t have all that b******s.
“But my missus is half-Spanish so she’d go off to Majorca all posh and that, and I’d never been on a plane til I was 15 or 16. She’d swan off to Majorca, I’d be back in Canvey Island and so she was always really brown and everything. She does go brown quick, my missus, I must say. So there’s none of that holiday romance for me.”
The former ‘EastEnders’ star explained that he spent his holidays growing up by the English seaside and finds it “sad” that the concept has moved on these days but when he recently looked into buying a caravan, he was left shocked at the price.
He said: “I used to love it. It was a sense of family being together. It was all cute, making the bed of a night and getting the caravan ready. It’s just such a simple holiday, that British thing but it’s gone now.
“I recently had an idea that I was gonna get a caravan for nostalgic reasons so I went down with my kids and all that to see this caravan. It was a quarter of a million pounds and I thought ‘F*** me!'”

Marisha Wallace reveals the one housemate she hasn’t spoken to since Celebrity Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Marisha Wallace hasn’t spoken to Sharon Osbourne since ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The 38-year-old actress was primarily known for starring in West End musicals like ‘Waitress’ and ‘Guys and Dolls’ when she signed up to appear on the ITV1 reality show earlier this year but admitted that while she received “so much great advice” from former ‘X Factor’ judge Sharon, 71, she is still yet to hear from the esteemed music manager.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’, she told stand-in host Christine Lampard: “I haven’t heard from Sharon but wherever she is – call me. I thought she was great. “She was only a special guest and she gave me so much great advice, she was like ‘You’re a star, keep going’. She’s been in the business for so long and she knows everything. She was great, I just had a really good time with everyone really.”
But Marisha – who also appeared alongside the likes of ‘Coronation Street’ actor Colson Smith, ‘This Morning’ legend Fern Britton, and eventual winner David Potts – is still grateful for the experience of being in the house because of how she was able to “shine a light” on the world of theatre and has made “friends for life” out of her co-stars.
She added: “It was the most incredible experience of my life. I think it shone a light on what I was already doing and in the theatre community, that doesn’t always get the credit that it deserves. Two weeks later, I performed at the Olivers like right after it so it’s been a whirlwind.
“I met friends there that I will keep for life. The show that you show and what was happening in the house was actually two different things. So we were making these amazing bonds with each other and people didn’t really get to see all of it but it’s so nice on the outside world that we’re still hanging out.”

Karen Fukuhara reveals important Hollywood lesson Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne taught her

OHMYGOSSIP — Karen Fukuhara was taught how to say “no” by Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne.
‘The Boys’ star, 32, landed her breakthrough role as Katana in 2016’s DC movie ‘Suicide Squad’, in which she shared the screen with the ‘Barbie’ actress, 34, and the 31-year-old model.
As she was beginning to make a name for herself in the industry, Fukuhara revealed Robbie and Delevingne taught he how to assert her boundaries confidently on the set of the blockbuster.
Speaking to Collider, she said: “On that set, I forget who exactly said this to me, but up until then — and I still am and I don’t think I take this advice wholeheartedly, but I’ve always been like a yes-man . Always yes. ‘Yes, I’ll do it. Yes. Yes, and what else?’
“Maybe it was Margot and Cara, but they told me about how powerful a ‘no’ can be and knowing your boundaries , and also not just yourself as an actor but standing up for your character and saying ‘no’, so that your character can be their true self in a way.”
As well as Margot and Cara , the superhero flick allowed the actress to work with other Hollywood legends like Will Smith and Jared Leto, but it was Viola Davis who Fukuhara was most excited to share the screen with.
Reflecting on working with ‘The King Woman’ star, Fukuhara said she was left “in awe” of Davis after the actress effortlessly nailed a long monologue.
She gushed: “I also got to work with my idol, Viola Davis. Just watching her work was amazing.
“She had a really long monologue, like a 16-page monologue, and I remember she got it a day before.
“It’s one of those monologues where she has to set the tone for the entire movie and explain everything, and be like, ‘Oh, because this character did this, blah, blah, blah.’ She’s introducing all of these new characters and ideas, and it was a big long monologue, and I just was in awe because she was able to do it.
“I just don’t know how she memorized everything and did it so well. I mean, we had a lot of great actors in that film, and so just being on set with all of them was like my learning experience.”

Ryan Reynolds would ‘love’ to work with wife Blake Lively on a Marvel movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Reynolds would “love” to work with his wife Blake Lively on a Marvel film.
The 47-year-old actor – who has daughters James, nine, Ines, seven, and Betty, four, with his 36-year-old spouse, as well as a fourth child the couple welcomed into the world last year – is gearing up to the release of ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, in which he stars alongside Hugh Jackman, 55, and has now revealed he’s keen to share the screen with Lively in another superhero flick.
When ComicBook.com quizzed Reynolds on whether he’d be open to the idea of working with his wife, he joked: “She’s not half the friend that Hugh is.”
Before adding: “I would love to.”
Ryan would like to copy the couples from Hollywood’s Golden Age, such as Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn, who appeared on screen together.
He said: “You know, in the old days, they all got to work together, hanging out.
“We got Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn … That’d be nice, I’d love to work with Blake.”
‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ – which sees Reynolds return as the ‘Merc with a Mouth’ and Jackman reprise his role as the mutant superhero – recently received another trailer in which Lady Deadpool was teased, leaving many to speculate who was underneath the mask, with some theories suggesting that Lively, Taylor Swift or even Reynolds himself could be playing the character.
While he enjoys listening to the speculation, the ‘Free Guy’ actor insisted he was not playing Lady Deadpool.
He told Access Hollywood: “I love listening to the conspiracy theories. Who is it? My favourite one that travelled quite a bit I saw, was me.
“I don’t know how I could do that with my hips. I cannot walk like that to save my life. My shoulders? They’re absurdly broad for a suit like that. So no, it is not me.”
Reynolds then emphasised he had no idea who was underneath the mask.
He said: “I don’t know. I’m going to find out myself.
“I specifically said, ‘Don’t tell me’ when we were shooting. I said, ‘Pick anyone you want and don’t tell me.’”

‘It would be awesome…’ Elijah Wood addresses potential Lord of the Rings return

OHMYGOSSIP — Elijah Wood thinks it would be “pretty incredible” to reprise his role as Frodo Baggins in ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum’.
The 43-year-old actor played the hobbit hero in the iconic fantasy films, and has now revealed he is open to returning to the world of Middle-earth in Andy Serkis’ upcoming flick.
Speaking to JoBlo, he said: “It would be pretty incredible. I have to say, any return to New Zealand to work with those individuals within the context of that world would be … jumping back into a world that’s so beloved and means so much to me. So yeah, it would be awesome.”
While Wood’s involvement in the movie is uncertain, Peter Jackson – the filmmaker behind ‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy – signed on to serve as executive producer on the new spin-off picture, which will see Serkis reprise his role a Gollum/Sméagol, as well as direct the flick.
Jackson explained it made more sense to give the character his own movie compared to the likes of Aragorn (Viggo Mortenson) or Legolas (Orlando Bloom) because the team “didn’t have time to cover” Gollum’s full backstory in the original pictures.
He told Deadline: “The Gollum/Sméagol character has always fascinated me because Gollum reflects the worst of human nature, whilst his Sméagol side is, arguably, quite sympathetic.
“I think he connects with readers and film audiences alike, because there’s a little bit of both of them in all of us.
“We really want to explore his backstory and delve into those parts of his journey we didn’t have time to cover in the earlier films.”
Although he emphasised it was “too soon” to make any guesses about which other fan-favourite characters could appear in the movie, the filmmaker insisted the flick would stay true to ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘Lord of the Rings’ author JRR Tolkien’s vision.
He said: “It’s too soon to know who will cross his path, but suffice to say we will take our lead from Professor Tolkien.”

Deadpool and Wolverine’s Emma Corrin wanted to ‘pay homage’ to previous Professor X actors

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Corrin wanted to “pay homage” to the previous Professor X actors in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’.
The 28-year-old actress plays Cassandra Nova – Charles Xavier’s evil sister – in the upcoming Marvel flick, and has revealed she wanted to channel the energy James McAvoy and Sir Patrick Stewart poured into their performances as the famed mutant superhero for her outing as the telepathic villain.
She told ScreenRant: “I did look back at those two performances. I hesitated before I did because I was like, ‘Do I want to get too close? Will I still be able to make it my own?’
“But I found it really interesting how they portrayed someone whose power is very internal and telepathic in that telepathic world. I wanted to see if there were any bits that I could use or pay homage to that, obviously, fans would really enjoy.”
‘The Crown’ star added she wanted to stay “very true” to Nova’s portrayal in the Marvel comic books.
She explained: “In terms of the comics, we very much stay true to the comics in terms of Cassandra’s look, the cap and the costume and the weirdy fingers, and definitely, you’ll see echoes of her origin story and her relationship of her brother are very prominent here in terms of her motivation.”
When she was quizzed on what other X-Men characters she’d like to share the screen with, Corrin shared she wanted to appear alongside Professor X in a movie that explored the character’s relationship with his sister.
She said: “You know what I’ve got a lot in interviews recently is people saying there should be a film where I played Charles and Cassandra.
“That would be wild, which I hadn’t thought of, but that is sort of my answer, not that I would play him, but I think to see Cassandra and Charles Xavier meet, everyone loves a bit of family drama!”

BBC journalists ‘investigating Strictly Come Dancing’ for Panorama style show

OHMYGOSSIP — BBC journalists are reportedly investigating ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ for a ‘Panorama’ style show.
The broadcaster’s annual celebrity Latin and ballroom competition has come under fire in recent weeks after misconduct allegations made against professionals Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima, with the BBC’s Director General Tim Davie expected to face tough questions about the show in his annual report on Tuesday (23.07.24).
According to The Sun newspaper, the Beeb’s own journalists are looking into misconduct claims for a potential programme.
An insider said: “For ‘Strictly’ producers and bosses, this is their worst nightmare.
“Being investigated by your own channel is a sign of just how serious things have become.
“But for the BBC board of directors it’s vital their news teams operate impartially.”
The broadcaster has decided that going forward, celebrities will be given chaperones for their time on the show and, amid the official investigation, rehearsals will be recorded.
Paralympian Will Bayley – who was born with arthrogryposis which affects all four of his limbs – has claimed there was “no duty of care” when he suffered a painful injury while trying to perfect a risky move in rehearsals.
He alleged to The Sun: “No one has ever contacted me from the BBC or said sorry.
“There was no duty of care — I should have been taken to hospital as soon as I had the accident, but all they cared about was trying to get me to dance.”
In response, the BBC told RadioTimes.com: “We have longstanding protocols for dealing with injuries if they occur and that includes contestants receiving all necessary treatment and support as required.”
Pernice and Di Prima will not be part of the upcoming series, with the latter dropped after former ‘Love Island’ contestant Zara McDermott, 27, recently claimed she was “kicked” by Graziano in rehearsals and sometimes “locked herself in the toilet” out of fear even though she signed up to the show fully aware of the dedication that was needed.
He has said he “deeply regrets” the events that led to his departure, while Pernice has previously rejected “any suggestion of abusive or threatening behaviour” and said he was surprised by the allegations made against him.

Romesh Ranganathan to host return of iconic 90s children’s show

OHMYGOSSIP — Romesh Ranganathan is being lined up to front an ‘Art Attack’ reboot.
The original show aired from 1990 to 2007 with artist Neil Buchanan at the helm, and now ‘Weakest Link’ host Romesh’s production company Ranga Bee are looking to create a “modern-day interpretation” of the legendary programme.
A TV insider told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “Like millions of Brits who grew up in the Nineties and Noughties, Romesh was no doubt a fan of the show.
“So now he’s passing that joy on to the next generation with this modern-day interpretation, which is destined for a major children’s network, probably Children’s BBC.
“It will be something of a departure for Ranga Bee however as they tend to make comedy shows, usually starring their owner, Mr Ranganathan, himself.”
Filming on Romesh’s ‘Art Attack’ reboot is expected to get underway in August.
Last week, it was revealed Romesh had signed up to present a new ITV celebrity gameshow with his mother, Shanthi.
The 46-year-old comedian is expected to front ‘Romesh Ranganathan’s Parents’ Evening’, which will see stars team up with their daughters, sons, mums or dads in an effort to win money for their chosen charity.
He said: “I am really grateful ITV has given me the chance to host this brand new series.
“I am less grateful, they also gave the chance to my mother.”
As well as his mum, the ‘Taskmaster’ star will also be joined by ‘This Morning’ host Alison Hammond and her son Aidan.
What’s more, others taking part include former boxer Tony Bellew and his son Corey, ‘The Masked Singer’s Joel Dommett and his mum Penny, Spice Girls singer Mel B and her daughter Phoenix, comedian Jonathan Ross and his daughter Honey, ex ‘Countdown’ presenter Carol Vorderman and her son Cameron, ‘Love Island’ narrator Iain Stirling and his mum Alison, Good Morning Britain’s Richard Madeley and his daughter Chloe, and Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison and her mum Caroll.

Robert Pattinson ‘in talks for new thriller’ with Jennifer Lawrence

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Pattinson is reportedly in talks to join Jennifer Lawrence in ‘Die, My Love’.
The 38-year-old actor – who has recently appeared in the likes of Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’ as the Caped Crusader, and Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’ – is said to be discussing the possibility of boarding the upcoming thriller.
The movie follows a mother (Lawrence) who is struggling with her sanity in a battle with her psychosis.
It’s not yet known what role Pattinson would play in the film.
Enda Walsh and Lynne Ramsay have co-written the script, while Ramsay herself will be at the helm.
Lawrence, 33, and Justine Ciarrocchi’s Excellent Cadaver company is producing, as well as Martin Scorsese and Andrea Calterwood.
The film is being financed by Black Label Media.
Meanwhile, Lawrence is said to have signed up to produce and act in ‘Why Don’t You Love Me?’, an adaptation of Paul B. Rainey’s 2023 sci-fi comedy graphic novel.
The story follows an unhappily married couple who struggle through their personal and professional lives until they discover that their reality is not how it seems and that there could be alternatives.
The ‘Hunger Games’ star will also be acting in and producing the murder mystery picture ‘The Wives’ that was acquired by Apple Original Films last month in what was described as a “highly competitive situation”.
Plot details are yet to be revealed, but the film is said to be inspired by the ‘Real Housewives’ TV franchise that centres on the antics of well-to-do women in various locations across the United States.
Pattinson next big role is in Bong Joon Ho’s ‘Mickey 17′, while he’s also expected to return as Bruce Wayne and the Caped Crusader for Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’ sequel.
DC Studios co-chief James Gunn recently revealed the script is still being written, but when asked for a timeline, he simply teased on Threads: “When Matt thinks it’s ready!”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ fans have been left furious as Monday night’s (22.07.24) episode is missing from ITVX.
Viewers hoping to tune into the first episode of the week took to social media to moan after they logged onto the service only to find Sunday’s episode was listed as the latest one.
Some Love Island fans have blasted ITVX as “useless”, and one questioned ITV’s “abysmal customer relations”, after no reason was given for the missing episode on the site.
A fan posted on X: “Aye listen @ITVX you have had more than enough time to add tonights love island episode, don’t get me mad today (sic)”
One viewer wrote: “@ITVX @ITVXhelp @LoveIsland why is last nights episode still not up? Maybe update people why… abysmal customer relations (sic)”
Another supporter penned: “@ITVX is so useless sometime, how have I still not seen last nights love island episode yet (sic)”
One posted: “Fairly shocking that I’m actually paying for @ITVX and I can’t watch last nights #loveisland (sic)”
By mid-morning on Tuesday (23.07.24), the episode still wasn’t available on ITVX, and the service’s X account hadn’t posted about the missing ep.
Those fortunate to have watched Monday night’s episode at the time will have seen the Islanders’ parents head into the villa, for what is typically an emotional episode.
It featured Joey Essex’s sister, his former ‘TOWIE’ co-star Frankie Essex, and Joey’s nan.
