Meghan Markle’s half-sister hints at Prince Harry wedding

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Markle’s half-sister isn’t sure if she’ll be invited to her wedding to Prince Harry.
While the flame-haired prince is yet to pop the question, there is speculation aplenty that the pair will marry next year, and the ‘Suits’ star’s sibling Samantha Grant hinted they may tie the knot at some point but wouldn’t be offended if she wasn’t asked to go to the ceremony.
Samantha – who hasn’t spoken to Meghan in nine years – said: “I don’t know if I would be hurt, and out of love and respect I would go; of course I would go.
“We’ll see if I get an invite.”
The 52 year old also insisted her half-sister – whose dad is Caucasian and mother is African-American – wouldn’t feel any pressure becoming the first bi-racial princess or duchess in British royal history.
When asked if her sibling might be affected, Samantha told ‘Good Morning Britain’: “She is confident, not only in herself as a woman, but in her relationship with Harry and love that they have so that should speak for – and carry – them and everything else.
“And that being said, it seems a non-issue.”
Last year, Samantha compared Meghan to Harry’s late mother Princess Diana – who died in a car crash aged 36 in August 1997 – and former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, insisting she is a “peaceful person” who isn’t much of a “partier”.
Samantha – who shares the same father, Thomas Markle, as the star, and is writing a book about the actress called ‘The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister’ – said: “She’s got the eloquence of Condoleezza Rice, and the grace of Princess Diana.
“She’s not wild, she’s not garish, she’s not a partier.
“She’s just very beautiful and conservative, very real, very giving. She’s just a peaceful person.”

Prince Harry to revisit flood victims

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry is to revisit flood victims one year on today (23.10.17).
The 33-year-old royal will chat to residents in St Michael’s on Wyre, Fylde, Lancashire, north west England, more than 18 months after he first paid a visit to the area after it was damaged by a natural disaster in 2015.
A tweet on the Kensington Palace Twitter account read: “His Royal Highness will also visit residents in St Michael’s on Wyre, who were affected by flooding in the winter of 2015/2016.
“Prince Harry previously visited the area in 2016 to speak to residents affected by the floods. #RoyalVisitLancashire (sic)”
Harry will reopen a village hall at a reception which will be attended by locals who had a big part to play in helping with the flood relief effort after a 2015 tragedy which damaged 1,700 businesses and homes.
The flame-haired royal will visit the offices of Veterans UK – which administers the armed forces pension schemes and compensation payments for personnel injured or bereaved through service – to mark 25 years since its helpline service began.
Another Kensington Palace tweet read: “Prince Harry will be in Lancashire today, visiting projects working with veterans, in conservation & using sport to drive positive change. (sic)”

Meghan Markle’s sister confirms book

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Markle’s half-sister has confirmed she is writing a book about her called ‘The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister’.
Samantha Grant – who hasn’t spoken to the ‘Suits’ star in nine years – insists the tome will be a “beautiful, warm, witty story” about growing up with the 36-year-old actress, who is dating Prince Harry, in the US.
Speaking from Florida, she said: “Well, it is true that I’m writing a book and the title is accurate, what is not true [is] this unbelievable swell that’s been created that it’s some sort of slamming ‘tell-all’.
“First of all it’s only a tell-all in that I go through and recount some of the beautiful nuances of our lives, our family home.
“But more importantly it has to do with the inter-racial evolution of this country through the lens of my life and my family since the Civil Rights Act until present and how that intersects with this recent event with my sister, you know, my feelings about it, my family’s feelings about it and how sad it was going through it all. But it’s more of a beautiful, warm, witty story of our lives and my life.”
Samantha, 52, – who shares the same father, Thomas Markle, as Meghan – insists her sibling is “absolutely lovely” and is convinced the brunette beauty will “surprise” people with how nice she is.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’, she added: “In my view you are either sisters or not and she’s my sister. She’s absolutely lovely. She’s strong, educated and graceful and she will be a compliment to her work.
“The British people and the world will be surprised by how graceful and lovely she is.
“She will bring so much to her role as part of the royal family. The world will be surprised.”

Queen Elizabeth won’t have public platinum celebration

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip will not have a national celebration to see in their platinum wedding anniversary.
The royal couple will mark 70 years of marriage on November 20 – the first members of the famous family to do so – but they are not planning to hold a public event to celebrate the milestone because they are said to be content with having a “private affair”.
A royal source told the Daily Express newspaper: “Any celebration will be a private, family affair.
“There will be no public event.”
Elizabeth, 91, and Philip, 96, previously marked their silver, golden and diamond wedding anniversaries with national services of thanksgiving, which were held at London’s Westminster Abbey.
While there will be no such event for the latest special occasion between the pair, double-headed platinum coins will be released to mark their 70th anniversary, and a new biography about them is to be released.
What’s more, a tune, ‘Royal Platinum Love Song’, has been composed by Russian Olga Thomas, and features Australian tenor Daniel Koek and soprano Joanna Forest, to mark the event.
Olga said: “The queen and Prince Philip’s relationship is inspirational for me.
“I love the idea of a traditional commitment which seems to be less common these days.
“They are symbols of everlasting love, a true reflection of what a marriage really should be, two people working together as one, a long-term commitment to each other and values that I hold dear.”
Elizabeth and Philip tied the knot on November 20, 1947 at Westminster Abbey, and they received more than 2,500 gifts from around the world.

Prince Harry to propose to Meghan Markle in November?

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry will propose to Meghan Markle next month – according to a spirit medium.
Susan Devere has seen a vision in which the 33-year-old prince will get down on one knee in November to ask the ‘Suits’ star for her hand in marriage, and after accepting his proposal the pair will tie the knot next year.
She said: “There should be an announcement about Harry getting engaged. I saw the month of November for an engagement and I saw next summer/ spring will be the wedding.”
The psychic is confident Harry and Meghan, 36, will marry after his brother Prince William’s wife Duchess Catherine gives birth to the couple’s third child in April 2018.
She told Daily Star Online: “I don’t think it will be any later than that. It will be after Kate Middleton has her baby.”
William and Catherine – who have two kids, Prince George, four, and two-year-old Princess Charlotte – recently confirmed they are expecting their third child to come along in April.
A tweet on the official Kensington Palace Twitter account read: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2018.”
Susan is well known for her medium talents after seeing many visions which came true, including New York’s Twin Towers collapsing before terrorists struck the iconic building on September 11, 2011.
She also predicted Brexit – Britain’s decision to leave the European Union – and Donald Trump being elected as the US President.
Last week, it was suggested Harry could break with tradition by purchasing a large, clear diamond engagement ring for Meghan.
While the pair – who have been dating for more than a year – are yet to get engaged, such speculation is rife and it is believed the flame-haired prince is looking to buy a big sparkler with a clear stone for the US-born actress.

Queen Elizabeth reunited with race horse

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen Elizabeth was reunited with her former horse yesterday (19.10.17).
The 91-year-old royal came face-to-face with her equine Knock Castle after her four-legged friend was a part of the parade to mark the 70th anniversary of the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery at London’s Hyde Park.
A tweet on the Royal Family Twitter account read: “Following the Parade, The Queen meets Left Section Commander Captain Emma Hollywell, who reunites HM with her horse ‘Knock Castle’.
“Knock Castle was given to the Troop by HM in August & is being retrained from racing to be in the @KingsTroopRHA.(sic)”
Knock Castle appeared to be well behaved, but in August the queen was reunited with a pony who previously tried to bite her.
She met up with mischievous Shetland pony Cruachan IV once again while on holiday at her Scottish residence of Balmoral, but managed to see the funny side.
The equine made a noise, and Elizabeth said: “Oh, we know where you are.”
Elizabeth came face-to-face with Cruachan IV again while meeting 2nd Battalion Royal Highland Fusiliers, who count the pony as their mascot.
In 2014, the horse tried to bite the queen but she managed to avoid any injury, and Cruachan IV seems to have calmed down now.
The monarch is known to be a huge horse racing fan and attends the Royal Ascot race meeting on an annual basis.
In 2013, the queen was named Owner of the Year at the Racehorse Owners Association Awards.
It came after her horse Estimate won the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot, the first time a reigning sovereign had won the prize in the race’s 207-year history.

Meghan Markle’s ‘remarkable’ spirit

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Markle has a “remarkable and generous spirit”.
That’s according to her fashion designer friend Misha Nonoo, who the ‘Suits’ star thrust into the limelight when she wore one of her creations – a white Husband shirt – when she and Prince Harry made their first public appearance together, and Misha is aiming to be as “philanthropic” as her pal.
She said: “I had no idea she was going to wear it. It was a beautiful surprise and I was touched. The exposure has been incredible.
“I love her to death. She is the coolest girl in the world.
“We were seated next to one another at a lunch and we got along like a house on fire. “She has the most remarkable and generous spirit. I aspire to be as philanthropic as she is, and to have as much of an impact as her.”
The pair bonded over many topics, including Meghan’s work for World Vision Canada – a cause which aims to change a child’s life and community for good, and who she is an ambassador for – and their love of dogs.
She explained: “We really bonded over that to begin with — and we both love dogs, too. We have been very close ever since.”
The British-raised designer is thought to be the person who introduced Harry to the actress, but is remaining tight-lipped on such speculation.
When asked if she was Harry and Meghan’s matchmaker, she laughed and told the London Evening Standard newspaper: “I really can’t answer that.”

Queen Elizabeth has ‘wonderful skin’

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen Elizabeth has “the most wonderful skin.”
Gloria Hunniford received an OBE from Her Majesty last week at Buckingham Palace in London for services to cancer charities in memory of late daughter Caron Keating and has admitted she was stunned by the 91-year-old monarch complexion.
Speaking to HELLO! Online, the 77-year-old television presenter said: “She gave everybody quite a long period of time and she was so affable and marvellous. And she had the most wonderful skin. I desperately wanted to ask her what cream she uses on her skin because it is so beautiful, honestly, and we were really up close. If she’d given me an opportunity, I’d have said, ‘Ma’am, your skin is magnificent!’ ”
But it’s not just Elizabeth who has fantastic skin, as her Duchess Catherine – the wife of her grandson Prince William – is very serious about lotions and potions and even advised Michelle Obama on the best products to use to slow down wrinkles.
According to Michelle’s make-up artist, Carl Ray, the brunette beauty – who was known as Kate Middleton before she married William in 2011 – recommended Michelle use Biotulin Supreme Skin Gel on her face.
Carl said recently: “Michelle Obama has been using this organic Botox gel regularly on the recommendation of Kate Middleton.”
Michelle uses the serum on a “regular basis” now and has found the product “unbelievable”.
Carl explained: “The First Lady uses this bio Botox gel on a regular basis. The effect is unbelievable. One of the constituents of this gel is Spilanthol, a biological local anesthetic extracted from the plant Acmella Oleracea (paracress). Biotulin, as this gel is called, smooths out wrinkles within just one hour.”

Queen Elizabeth has security checks before leaving UK

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen Elizabeth has to go through security when she leaves the country.
The 91-year-old monarch – who has travelled to 120 countries during her reign – doesn’t need to have a passport when she goes abroad but she must still have her identity checked every time she enters and leaves Britain.
For the past eight years, the queen has had to provide her full name age, address, nationality, and place of birth before she’s allowed to board her plane.
According to the Mail Online, the details she provides when going through boarder control at the airport are “checked against terrorist and criminal watch lists.
The Royal website states: “As a British passport is issued in the name of Her Majesty, it is unnecessary for The Queen to possess one.”
However, although the monarch doesn’t need to have a passport to travel, the rest of the royal family – including Prince Charles and Philip – must have one.
As well as her planes, the queen also has a fleet of electric vehicles, and recently added an eco-friendly van to transport plants and machinery to her collection.
A spokeswoman said: “The gardening team will shortly replace their existing vehicle with an electric van. An application has therefore been made to introduce a charge point in the Long Shed at the back of Buckingham Palace.
“This vehicle will be used for transporting machinery, plants and personnel.”
Elizabeth is also the proud owner of three other green cars, a Renault Twizy – gifted to her in 2012 – a BMW i3 and a hybrid 7-Series.
The spokeswoman added: “The Royal Household has had two fully electric cars, and one hybrid, for official use by the Royal Mews for several years.
“There are two existing dedicated charging units for these vehicles, at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.”

Duchess Catherine’s royal doctor postpones retirement for baby

OHMYGOSSIP — Duchess Catherine’s royal gynecologist has postponed his retirement to deliver her third baby.
The 35-year-old royal and her husband Prince William are set to welcome their little one into the world in April and her 54-year-old doctor Alan Farthing – who delivered her son George in 2013 and daughter Charlotte in 2015 – has agreed to help the brunette beauty with the birth.
A source told Us Magazine.com: “He’s postponed his retirement to do it.”
And the couple have already reserved a suite in the exclusive Lindo Wing of London’s St. Mary’s Hospital – where their other two children were born – in preparation for the labour.
Although Catherine still has six months to go until her baby is due, she and William – who got married in 2011 – have started explaining to George and Charlotte that they’re getting a sibling.
The insider added: “They know mummy is carrying another brother or sister for them and they’re excited. They keep asking about the size of the baby and whether it’s a boy or a girl.”
And they’re starting to fill up the baby’s nursery with “hand-me-down clothes and toys.”
The insider said: “It’s full with hand-me-down clothes and George and Charlotte’s old toys.”
The couple were forced to announce their pregnancy before the three-month mark after Catherine missed George’s first day at school in September because of severe morning sickness – something she suffered with during her first and second pregnancy as well.
The source explained: “They’re taking each day as it comes. After you’ve had two children, the third usually feels like somewhat of a breeze so they’re just focused on Kate and the baby’s health right now. Everything else can wait.”
But she’s said to be feeling a lot better and is starting to return to her royal duties.
The source added: “She is feeling significantly better. Especially when you compare to how bad she was at the start. It was a worrying time for everyone.”

Prince Harry introduces girlfriend to Queen Elizabeth

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry has introduced his girlfriend Meghan Markle to Queen Elizabeth.
The 33-year-old royal took his partner – who he has been dating for just over a year – for tea with his grandmother at Buckingham Palace in London last Thursday in order to discuss their impending engagement, according to the Daily Mail newspaper.
A source told the publication: “The couple arrived in time for tea at around 5pm. It is the queen’s favourite part of the day and she loves it when her grandchildren are able to join her. She normally sits for half an hour eating from a selection of sandwiches, fruit or plain scones and cake. It is served with her own blend of Darjeeling and Assam tea, known as Queen Mary’s blend.”
Prince Philip – Harry’s grandfather – wasn’t present when the couple went for tea.
It’s believed the prince asked the 91-year-old monarch when he was at Balmoral Castle – where the queen spends her summer – a few weeks ago whether she would be willing to meet the ‘Suits’ actress, 36, when she next stops by in London.
And Meghan is certainly making a good impression on Harry’s family as it’s thought his father Prince Charles was “very impressed” when he met her earlier this year.
And Charles’ wife the Duchess of Cornwall – who he married in 2005 – reportedly told a member of staff that the brunette beauty was a “very nice girl and very pleasant.”
A spokesperson for Kensington Palace said: “We have refrained from commenting on all previous stories about Prince Harry introducing Meghan Markle to members of the Royal Family and therefore we have no comment.”
Meanwhile, it’s believed the couple will announce their engagement before Christmas and the actress – who lives in Toronto, Canada – will move to the UK permanently.
And should she become a full-time royal, Meghan- who has been a global ambassador for international charity World Vision since 2006 – is said to be keen to pursue further charity work and leave her career as an actress behind her.
