Paul Weller on MeToo movement

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Weller has “reappraised” his “attitude” as a result of the #MeToo movement.
The 60-year-old musician thinks it is a “good thing” to examine his own past conduct and “change” his behaviour following the rise of the campaign, which has seen women speak up about the harassment they have received.
Asked if #MeToo has made him stop and take stock, he said: “Yeah, definitely. When I think about me being sexist and that — it’s made me reappraise attitudes.”
And pressed for examples, he added: “Well, grabbing some bird’s arse in a club or something – that’s not really on, is it? Or chatting up someone who doesn’t want to be chatted up.
“I probably wouldn’t have thought on those things until more recently. So it’s a good thing, because it makes you look at yourself and think, ‘Well, how do I change this and how do I adapt to this?’ ”
The former Jam frontman – who has eight children from four relationships – think society is currently in a “transitional period” and he hopes the world is changing for the better.
He told Sunday Times magazine: “I think it’s good. It’s a transitional period.
“For a lot of men – any men that are vaguely conscious at all – they’ve had to reappraise themselves and masculinity.
“The gaps between men and women have got to be closer, in terms of pay and job opportunities. Everyone has to be on an equal footing.
“I think in the next five or 10 years, men will grow up differently. I hope so, anyway. That’s how the world gets better, how we evolve.”
The ‘No Tears To Cry’ hitmaker is happy to change his 20-month-old daughter Nova’s nappies and doesn’t think its something to celebrate when dads are hands-on parents.
He said: “Yeah, I do [change nappies]. But do fathers deserve a slap on the back ‘cos they changed their kids’ nappies? It’s not too difficult, is it?”

Khloe Kardashian says Tristan Thompson is ‘good dad’

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloe Kardashian has praised Tristan Thompson as a “good dad”.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star recently split from the NBA star after he was allegedly caught kissing family frind Jordyn Woods, but despite their differences, she insisted she will never put their 11-month-old daughter True in “the middle” of their problems.
A fan tweeted: “@khloekardashian hunny keep raising your daughter the best way you know how. All she needs is her mom. You’re doing great. Keep ya head up. (sic)”
Khloe responded: “Thank you love! You’re so very sweet. But he is a good dad to her. My sweet and special baby True will NEVER be put in the middle of him and I. I can promise that (sic)”
The 34-year-old reality star recently blamed the cheating scandal on Tristan – after previously accusing Jordyn – and explained that she has to “move on” with her life.
She wrote: “This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have. Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time. What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me.
“Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault. I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True. (sic)”
Meanwhile, the ‘Revenge Body’ host’s best friend, Malika Haqq, recently praised how her pal was coping in a difficult time.
She said: “Khloe is good. She’s doing really good.”
And Malika absolutely adores True – who Khloe has with Tristan – and has confessed she spoils her rotten.
She added: “It’s the best thing ever. True is the cutest, smallest, brown version of Khloe I could have asked for … You just don’t say no to True. It’s actually kind of difficult. So yes, I spoil her.”

Danny Jones and wife didn’t get intimate for a year

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Jones and his wife didn’t have sex for a year after she fell pregnant.
The McFly frontman and his spouse Georgia – who have son Cooper, 14 months, together – stopped getting intimate shortly after the former Miss England found out she was expecting and it took some time after giving birth for her body to “heal” enough for her to be ready to sleep with her husband.
Georgia candidly admitted: “We can’t have had sex for a year (at one stage) because after you have your baby you’re healing and after two months into getting pregnant we didn’t have sex.
“He was alright he got what he needed!”
But these days, the couple don’t go so long without sex as the 32-year-old beauty thinks it’s a good way to resolve problems in their relationship.
Speaking on Zoe Hardman and Georgia Dayton’s ‘Made By Mammas’ Podcast, she said: “I do think sometimes you’re not getting on very well with your other half, I know that we just need to have sex.
“Even if I don’t really want to have sex that day because then I’ll be like ‘Oh yeah I fancy you again.’ ”
However, since welcoming Cooper into the world, the couple’s lovemaking habits have changed in a major way.
Georgia explained: “We do make time to spend together so we can go and have brunch and sit and talk. Danny’s turned into a morning sex person since kids!
“Before he wouldn’t have ever woken up to have sex in the morning because he’s so not a morning person but now he hasn’t got a choice.
“Now he’s Mr Ready To Go in the morning. That’s the best time for me so I’m like ‘Brilliant so now I can get on with my day’ and I’m too knackered by the end of the day. So just do it in the morning – brilliant.”

The 45-year-old actor is still “kind of shocked” that his ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ co-star passed away earlier this month after suffering a stroke but he’s convinced his late pal is still “looking down” on him.
Speaking on his ‘… with Brian Austin Green’ podcast, he said: “Luke was a special guy. I’m still mourning over it so there’s a part of me that’s kind of shocked that I’m speaking about Luke this way.
“We all knew that at some point we’d have to deal with losing cast members and friends but not this soon. Not at 52. Not in such an abrupt way.
“I texted him after he passed, knowing obviously that he can’t text me back but on some level, hoping, that he would text me back, or that he was out there somewhere. And I know he is. I know he’s looking down and I know he’s smiling.”
After Luke’s death, his ‘90210’ co-stars gathered at Gabrielle Carteris’ house and Brian admitted they all felt “mixed emotions” about being in the same room without their friend.
He said: “You were happy to see everybody and you felt like it’s been too long and it was great. But what a horrible reason to have to see everybody.”
The ‘Anger Management’ actor went on to remember the ‘Riverdale’ star as a “great guy”.
He said: “Luke was one of those people nobody had a bad story about.
“He was just a great guy. And he was Luke no matter where you saw him, no matter when you saw him, no matter what he was going through. He was a rock.”

Adam Levine feels ‘better-looking’ as time goes on

OHMYGOSSIP — Adam Levine feels “younger” and “better-looking” now he’s 40.
The ‘Maroon 5’ frontman – who has daughters Dusty, two, and 11-month-old Gio with his wife Behati Prinsloo – celebraes his milestone birthday on Monday (18.03.19) but he isn’t worried about the ageing process, joking he feels more like Brad Pitt’s titular character in 2008 movie ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’, which was about a man who aged in reverse.
He told People magazine: “I feel like I’m Benjamin Button-ing. I feel younger and less mature, better-looking and just overall more youthful. Maybe I was born old!”
And Adam’s wife isn’t worried about him getting older either as she thinks he’s just got “sexier with time”.
The 30-year-old beauty said: “I definitely think the older he gets, the more he’s been taking care of himself, working out and doing yoga. He’s so aware. He also doesn’t drink much and is very much a workaholic. He works out, then he’s with family. He really is aging backwards and getting sexier with time!”
Behati returned to the Victoria’s Secret catwalk last year in New York after a three-year hiatus, and she credits the ‘Sugar’ hitmaker for keeping her motivated when she works out.
She said: “Adam is a really crazy workout. He loves yoga, loves working out and taking care of himself, so he always motivates me. When he works out, I would go in to his trainer and he would work us both out.
The model also praised her husband as an “incredible” father to their daughters.
She added: “He is an incredible dad and is very hands-on. He’s so dedicated and excited. It’s amazing to see him really taking the role and loving it, especially with two girls.”

Gwyneth Paltrow’s significant wedding setting

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow got married at her father’s burial site.
The 46-year-old actress was left devastated when her beloved dad Bruce Paltrow died suddenly in 2003 while they were in Italy celebrating the ‘Iron Man’ star’s 30th birthday, and as the tragedy caused her to slide into “the deepest depression” around the anniversary of his passing, she decided to “reframe” the end of September by tying the knot with Brad Falcuk on a similar date last year.
Speaking on Dax Shepard’s ‘Armchair Experts’ podcast, she said: “For years, I would go into kind of the deepest depression of all time around my birthday and then I thought, ‘I’ve got to reframe this somehow. My father would not want this for me.’
“My birthday is September 27 and so this past September, I got married on the 29th of September. His ashes are buried under this beautiful tree at my house and we got married there — right near my dad… kind of on my dad.”
Gwyneth – who has children Apple, 14, and 12-year-old Moses with ex-husband Chris Martin – admitted she still has a “hard time” dealing with her father’s death, particularly when she’s looking for advice relating to raising her kids.
She admitted: “I still have a hard time with it. He was such an intentional father, and he was so observant and so deeply supportive and set us up to win all the time.
“And now I have a 14-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son and I’m like, ‘F**k, I need to call my dad. I need to talk to my dad.’
“And I don’t have that person. I have incredible people in my life, but I don’t have their grandfather, who was also the greatest father in the world.”

Jack Fowler calls for more support in wake of Mike Thalassitis death

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Fowler feels “angry” over Mike Thalassitis’ death and has called for stronger support for reality TV stars.
The former ‘Love Island’ star is “heavy hearted” and “confused” about the tragic passing of the 26-year-old reality TV hunk – who was found dead in woodland near his home in Essex on Friday (15.03.19) – and has demanded there be more psychiatric support for people suffering from depression and mental health.
In a post on his Twitter page on Monday (18.03.19), Jack wrote: “Heavy hearted angry & confused. Things need to change. I learnt about Pythagoras therums in school. But I was never taught once about different organizations or support networks when it came to depression or mental health or more importantly, signs to look out for in myself or in someone else.
“Prevention is better than the cure. From young we should be taught that talking about how we feels is apart of growing up. (sic)”
While the TV hunk – who, like Mike, was a contestant on the hit ITV2 dating show – admits he had psychiatry tests “before and immediately after” ‘Love Island’, he says more should be done about showing people how to cope with the “negative effects” of being “nationally known”.
He wrote: “Personal experience .. yeah I had psychiatry tests before and immediately after love island. But I feel like once your off the TV screen then the support network isn’t what it should be. You became nationally known and that’s amazing to a certain degree, but what you don’t see is the after shock of it all & how to cope with the negative effects. (sic)”
Growing concerns have been raised for the well-being of the show’s contestants as last year Love Island 2016’s Sophie Gradon passed away aged 32.
Jack warned wannabe ‘Love Island’ stars that appearing in reality TV is not as glamorous and exciting as it may seem.
He added: “If your getting yourself involved in this industry then you NEED to realise that it’s not what it looks like. ‘Ive now lost two people to the same circumstances, both off the same show. And now I can’t help but think who’s next (sic)”

The former ‘Love Island’ star’s body was found in woodland near his Essex home on Friday (15.03.19), and the singer – who dated Mike last year – has broken her social media silence since his passing, admitting she is still “trying to come to terms” with his death.
She wrote on Instagram: “Sorry I haven’t been on social media but I’m in complete shock and trying to come to terms with this.
“I can’t believe I’m even writing this post.
“My thoughts and prayers are with Mike’s family. Rest in peace Mike. X (sic)”
Megan’s comments come after several former ‘Love Island’ stars took to social media to pay tribute to Mike, who was 26.
Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies, who won the 2017 ‘Love Island’ series which Mike competed in, led tributes to him.
Alongside a broken heart emoji, Kem wrote: “Such heartbreaking news. My thoughts go out to all of Mikes friends and family (sic)”
In her own post, Amber added: “I am in utter shock. @MikeThalassitis you were one of the most genuine guy! I just can’t believe this! You’ll be missed so much you have no idea (sic)”
Tyla Carr, who enjoyed a short-lived romance with Mike on the ITV2 show, admitted she was “shocked” by the news.
She wrote: “I can’t believe the call I’ve just had. Mike, you were loved by all of the Love island family. You’ll be missed so much. All my love goes out to your friends and family. Shocked. (sic)”
‘Love Island’ presenter Caroline Flack also took to Instagram to describe the late star as a “total gentleman”.
She wrote: “Mike… you were a total gentleman… I won’t forget that … it’s so so sad …you will be missed. RIP (sic)”
Police have confirmed that Mike’s death is “not being treated as suspicious”.
A Scotland Yard spokesperson said: “Police were called to a park near Latymer Way, N9 at 0928hrs on Saturday, 16 March to reports of a man found hanged.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, aged in his 20s, deceased.
“At this early stage, the death is not being treated as suspicious.
“Police are in the process of informing the man’s next of kin. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”

Paul Weller wants to ‘donate’ wardrobe to museum

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Weller wants to “donate” his clothes to a museum.
The 60-year-old rocker – who has adult kids Leah and Natt from his first marriage to Dee C. Lee, Dylan from a relationship with a make-up artist named Lucy, Jesamine, 19, and Stevie Mac, 14, with former partner Samantha Stock, and twins Bowie and John Paul, seven, and daughter Nova, 20 months, with wife Hannah – wants to make a mod exhibition at a museum that he can give his extensive wardrobe to, which he has accumulated over his career, because he doesn’t think his children will “want them”.
Paul is synonymous with the mod music movement and is known as ‘The Modfather’.
Speaking to The Sunday Times magazine, he said: “Music and clothes. They’re the same things I used to buy when I was 16, 15. I can just buy more of them now. Often I think, ‘What am I going to do with them all [his records] when I go?’ My kids probably won’t want them. I think I should just get shot of them, but I can’t bring myself to do that. I was thinking that as well. I was talking to my mate about whether there’s a possibility of making a mod sort of museum of some kind that I could donate my clothes to.”
However, ‘The Jam’ frontman explained that he would never want to do a retrospective exhibition like the late singer, David Bowie, at the V&A – which showed how Ziggy Stardust cast his influence over everyday life – because his outfits weren’t that “extreme”.
He added: “I wouldn’t be the right sort of person for that kind of thing. I don’t think it would be enough to hold people’s attention. Cos Bowie was really theatrical, his costumes were really extreme.”

Amy Schumer’s husband has Asperger’s Syndrome.

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Schumer’s husband has Asperger’s Syndrome.
The 37-year-old comic realised not long after she started dating Chris Fischer – who she married in February 2018 following a whirlwind three-month romance – that his “brain was a little different” and explained it’s because he has the condition, which is a form of developmental disorder autism and can cause difficulties with communication and social interaction.
In her upcoming Netflix special ‘Amy Schumer: Growing’ she told a crowd in Chicago: “I knew from the beginning that my husband’s brain was a little different than mine. I have to start this over because I really want to get this right because I love him very much.
“My husband was diagnosed with what used to be called Asperger’s. He has autism spectrum disorder. He’s on the spectrum. And there were some signs early on.”
The ‘I Feel Pretty’ star – who is expecting her first child with the chef – went on to admit she has shared a lot of “‘Huh’ moments” with her husband, starting from when she fell over on one of their first dates.
She continued: “Nine out of 10 people would go, ‘Oh my god, are you OK?!’ Maybe more like 10 out of 10 people…Instead, my husband went– He kind of froze and became a lighthouse, opening and closing his mouth.
“I remember lying on the ground looking up at him and I wasn’t mad, I just thought, ‘Huh’. Lotta ‘Huh’ moments, you know?”
But the ‘Trainwreck’ actress is unfazed by his condition and admitted one of the reasons why she fell in love with him was because “he keeps it so real” and always tells the truth.
She said: “Once he was diagnosed, it dawned on me how funny it was, because all of the characteristics that make it clear that he’s on the spectrum are all of the reasons that I fell madly in love with him.
“That’s the truth. He says whatever is on his mind. He keeps it so real. He doesn’t care about social norms or what you expect him to say or do.”

David Beckham ‘doesn’t like trying clothes on’

OHMYGOSSIP — David Beckham “doesn’t really like” trying on clothes.
The 41-year-old retired soccer star – who is married to fashion mogul Victoria Beckham – has insisted that “fittings” are not his “favourite thing” to do when he wants to give his wardrobe a seasonal refresh.
Beckham took a trip to Tokyo, Japan, in December to support his friend Kim Jones – who is the artistic director of Dior menswear- for the designer’s first ever men’s pre-collection catwalk show.
Speaking to OTRO for the ’48 hours in Tokyo’ video series, he said: “I can’t lie, fittings are not my most favourite thing in the world. Trying clothes in general, I don’t really like. But Kim’s tailoring is incredible so for this fitting I don’t mind.”
The football ace previously admitted that his three sons – Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, and Cruz, 12 – regularly raid his closet for outfits they can wear themselves.
Speaking about Daniel Kearns, the creative director of Kent & Curwen, he said: “We share a common vision of staying true to the brand’s British heritage while creating iconic pieces that could belong in a modern man’s everyday wardrobe.”
Before adding: “My sons are also very into Kent & Curwen and constantly raid my closet. It’s also about creating collections with multigenerational appeal.”
And David – who also has five-year-old daughter Harper with his wife Victoria Beckham – loves how fashion is unique to individual countries and even people.
He told the April issue of #legend magazine: “That’s what’s great about fashion. You go to the United States and there’s a certain style with the way that men and women dress. It’s the same in Europe. You go to Milan, you go to Paris, you go to London: each city is so different and so diverse.
“It’s what makes fashion so special. But, again, you go to Asia, you go to China or places like Tokyo, you just have to walk around the streets and you see different fashions. You get so much inspiration from just walking around. That is all over the world.”

AJ McLean is putting himself first

OHMYGOSSIP — AJ McLean is learning to put himself first.
The Backstreet Boys singer has said he’s learning how to juggle his own health alongside his life as a father to two daughters – Ava, six, and Lyric, 23 months – and his career, after having battled addiction for many years and entering rehab several times, including a relapse as recently as 2018.
He said: “[Addiction] has made me have to look inward, which I think is what a lot of people who haven’t fully matured are lacking. That’s something I’ve struggled with for years. I put my family first, then I put my job, then somewhere down the line is me.
“I’m slowing learning, at 41, that it’s okay to put me before all of it because if I’m not happy and healthy, how could I be the father and husband that I truly know I am and want to become even better at? If I’m not happy or healthy, all the other stuff is eventually going to go bye-bye.”
AJ – who has his daughters with his wife Rochelle – admits it is a “constant struggle” to keep himself away from drink, but says he is determined to work hard because he doesn’t want to “lose” everything he’s built up over the years.
He added to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I don’t want to lose what I’ve spent 26 years building with my boys, I don’t want to lose my beautiful family and I don’t want to lose my life and everything I’ve worked so hard for, for something as trivial as picking up a drink. It’s a constant struggle, of course. It’s up, it’s down.”
The ‘Boy and a Man’ singer’s comments come after he revealed in November that he had relapsed in 2018, as at the time he was struggling to come to terms with putting his own needs first.
He said: “You know, it’s interesting about sobriety with family and with kids – you still have to put yourself first, and that’s been a real big struggle for me.
“Look, I have no shame in saying, I’ve relapsed over the past year. It’s no secret that this is a disease, and that it’s a daily struggle.
“Are my kids and my wife a huge support, and a huge inspiration? Yes, a hundred percent. But, at the same time the biggest problem I deal with, with them, is putting myself first, and not my family first. Because in my mind, that’s what you should do, you should put family first. You should put your kids first.
“But because I’m still very codependent, I’m Mr. People Pleaser – and I think a lot of that comes from being a performer, and wanting to see the crowd happy, and seeing everybody around you, and loving the attention – I want to make sure everyone’s cool.”

OHMYGOSSIP — John Cena is “happy” his former fiancée Nikki Bella has moved on.
The 41-year-old wrestler and actor split with Nikki just days before their planned wedding date last year, and after the fellow wrestling star was spotted on several dates with men including Artem Chigvinstev and Peter Kraus, John is reportedly pleased to see her getting back on her feet.
A source said: “John is happy that Nikki has moved on because the end of their relationship was extremely toxic. He has finally moved on as well and is in a good place.”
The pair have “no desire to work things out right now”, and sources say they’ve both realised they’re “better off apart”.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, the insider added: “In the end they just both realised that they are better off apart. She made him out to be a monster and he kind of was in the end. But she harbours no hard feelings towards him either. It just ran its course.”
The comments come after 35-year-old Nikki was spotted locking lips with ‘Dancing With the Stars’ pro Artem – whom she met when she was paired with him on the show in 2017 – when they grabbed lunch together at Joan’s on Third in Los Angeles earlier this month.
But Nikki previously insisted their first date, which saw them visit a farmer’s market, wasn’t the start of something serious.
She claimed: “We had amazing chemistry. I moved to LA, so it was natural. Artem had asked me to the Farmers Market. But paparazzi kinda killed it so I was like, ‘Okay, I am out of here.'”
Meanwhile, the ‘Total Bellas’ star recently claimed to still be close friends with ‘Blockers’ star John, and said she was “grateful” to have him in her life.
She said: “We’re good … as good as being apart can be. I’ve always been grateful to have John in my life and to have a man like that. He’s an amazing man. And even through such a hard breakup, he has been truly so amazing.”

Leigh-Anne Pinnock felt ‘replaceable’ in Little Mix

OHMYGOSSIP — Leigh-Anne Pinnock felt “invisible and replaceable” during the early days of Little Mix.
The 27-year-old singer found fame with the ‘Woman Like Me’ hitmakers – who are also comprised of Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, and Jesy Nelson – in 2011 when they won the UK talent show ‘The X-Factor’, but has said it took her a “long while” to become “comfortable” in her own skin, because she spent a long time believing she could easily be replaced.
She said: “I definitely feel that it’s taken me a long while to completely feel comfortable in the skin that I’m in. I really did feel invisible and replaceable for a considerable amount of time within the band, but I truly believe as the years have gone on I’m beginning to own it more and more.”
Leigh-Anne also says she hopes to use her platform to “raise some awareness” on racism in society, as she’s “proud” of who she is.
She added: “Sadly we live in a society that is inbuilt with racism and I just hope that by speaking up on my personal experience, I can help raise some awareness on this f-ked up situation. I’ve always been proud of who I am but maybe for a while I forgot how special and powerful that is. Being black is powerful, being black is beautiful and I’m ready to shout it to the world!”
And since finding fame, the ‘Power’ singer says she hasn’t had “any time to process” her success.
Speaking to Rollacoaster magazine, she said: “We didn’t really have any time to process it, it was just like ‘Boom!’ Obviously for me, it was my dream so I loved every second of it, but the negativity and the trolling? I fought it really hard.”
