OHMYGOSSIP — Haley Lu Richardson initially turned down ‘Five Feet Apart’.
The 24-year-old actress stars opposite ‘Riverdale’s Cole Sprouse in the new romantic drama, which tells the story of two teenagers with Cystic Fibrosis – the genetic condition resulting in mainly respiratory and gastrointestinal problems – but Haley admitted her character’s controlling nature made it difficult for her to connect at first.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: “Fun fact: I actually passed on this movie. I wasn’t super into this script the first time I read it, to be honest. Not because of what these characters go through, but because there were things about Stella that were hard for me to connect to. And I think that aspect of being so in need of control, that was scary for me because you can’t fake that innate need or pressure or whatever it is to have these control issues. Her whole life is built around that. The majority of it is because of her situation and her CF, so honestly it was hard. It was hard to picture that happening in this big, magical teen romance world and it was scary to imagine doing justice to that and making that grounded and real in this big genre teen movie.
“Honestly, I think it scared me at first because I didn’t know if it was possible, but then it’s also a challenge and exciting being as grounded and real of a character and having conversations and saying words that a teenager can actually relate to with this magical, high-stakes situation happening around them.”
Haley also praised her co-star Cole, 26 as “awesome” and said their work in the movie was a real partnership.
She said: “Cole’s awesome. I didn’t really know what to expect. It’s always a bummer when you show up and you meet someone that you’re gonna be doing a movie with and you get the sense that they don’t really care as much as you do about doing a good job and about doing the best they can or they’re not invested in the creative or collaborative aspect of making a movie, and Cole is so not that. He’s so deeply artistic and caring and thoughtful, which made it possible to create those scenes and work with him on making these characters real and taking the time they need to make them real, well-rounded people. I just felt like I had a real partner in him, and I appreciated that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Foals’ Jack Bevan says the band were “raring to go” with their new album.
The indie rock band recently dropped their first release since 2015, ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part 1′ – with’ Part 2′ coming this spring – and the group’s drummer admitted that, following a year-long hiatus, the group has a “creative build up” and so were able to produce content “quicker than normal”.
In an interview with Music Feeds, Jack said: “Yeah, it was kind of exactly that. After we finished our last album, we were so tired because we’d basically played back-to-back tours of ‘Holy Fire’ (2013) and ‘What Went Down’ (2015).
“We took a whole year off and I think when we came back, it was the first time we’d really had a break so we were rearing to go.
“I think having that time off gave us a bit of a creative build up. So when we went into the studio, it just came quicker than normal.
Jack added that the group – which also includes Yannis Philippakis, Jimmy Smith, and Edwin Congreave – “never set out” to make a double album however they felt like they “couldn’t edit” their tracklist down.
He said: “We never set out to make a double album but I think we got to a point where we had finished 20 tracks and we were like ‘I don’t think we can edit this down to 12 or whatever to put on a record’ We felt like we wanted to put it all out.
“I think we also felt that in the past, as we only tend to make a record every three or four years, like ‘Great! We get to put more tracks out, the fans get to hear more music and we get to play more songs live’. It’s really satisfying for us to have that extra output.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Russell Brand is a huge fan of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 43-year-old comedian and actor loves the BBC One dance competition so much that he invited professional dancer Kevin Clifton up on stage at one of his shows when he spotted him in the audience and even asked Kevin to teach him and his wife Laura Gallacher a waltz for their wedding dance.
Kevin, 36, told The Sun: “It turns out that he’s a massive ‘Strictly’ fan. Him and his wife always sit down and watch it, so he got me up on stage. We started dancing and having a laugh. He asked if we could stay in touch and we became mates. I taught him and his wife Laura their wedding dance. It was a slow dance, a waltz.”
And Russell returned the favour by helping Kevin prepare for his stage role in the ‘Rock Of Ages’ musical after Russell starred in the big screen adaptation alongside Tom Cruise.
He said: “He was in the movie ‘Rock Of Ages’ so I asked him to go through the script with me. He taught me to view my character as an animal, so we came up with him being a snake, so he slithers and every now and then he has a jolt, like he is attacking.”
Russell previously admitted he would never be able to compete on the show because he would not take criticism well.
He said: “I’m not good enough. I’m too emotionally volatile. I love Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli and that, but if they coated me off for the way I mince around I think I would have a meltdown.
“I can’t stand it. I couldn’t go on there, I’m too an intense a personality.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Soulja Boy has been released from jail.
The rapper – who is currently on probation from carrying a firearm or ammunition stemming from weapons violations he was convicted of eight years ago – was arrested on Friday (15.03.19) after police allegedly found ammunition in his home.
The rapper’s lawyer Fred Minassian told TMZ that “there was no finding in regards to his probation violation” and said that a court date had been scheduled for March 29.
In a since deleted Instagram Live immediately after his release, Soulja Boy said: “They took all my jewellery, all my chains but I still got my band [jail ID wristband] on.”
According to TMZ, Soulja had been attending a meeting with his probation officer on Friday morning in the San Fernando Valley, and was arrested when he arrived at the his appointment.
Police had searched the rapper’s house following allegations from a woman who claimed he had held her hostage in his garage – which he has denied.
During the search of his home, cops allegedly found the ammunition, which he isn’t allowed to possess while on probation.
For Soulja, the arrest comes after he was previously taken into custody in 2016 when he was already on probation, and police searched his home after he threatened people online. During their search, cops found at least one weapon, which was a violation of Soulja’s probation.
At the time, a judge extended the ‘Pretty Boy Swag’ rapper’s probation, and made it clear he wasn’t to have guns or ammunition in his possession.
The ‘Kiss Me Thru The Phone’ singer was also previously charged for the illegal possession of a firearm in 2017 when he was found with a Mini Draco AR-15 – which is illegal to own in the US state of California – and he has also been charged for allegedly stealing a gun from a police car.

OHMYGOSSIP — U2 are looking to rent four $10,000-a-night mansions for their upcoming Sydney, Australia shows.
The quartet – Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullen and Adam Clayton – are reportedly each seeking their own palatial pad for their stay in the city as part of their ‘Experience + Innocence’ tour but the quest is proving difficult.
A source told The Sydney Morning Herald that finding huge properties for the stars and their families is proving impossible.
The source explained: “These guys are talking $10,000 a night houses, there just isn’t that many of them available”
Coincidentally, Sir Elton John is also believed to be struggling to find a mansion of his own to rent in the upmarket suburbs of Point Piper or Vaucluse for his ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour.
The 71-year-old star is said to be looking for a luxurious home to house him, his husband David Furnish, 56, their sons, Zachary, eight, and Elijah, six and a huge entourage including bodyguards, nannies, chefs, hairdressers and stylists.
Meanwhile, Elton recently insisted he “owes” it to his children to quit touring.
He said: “The reason I did this farewell tour was because I’ve been travelling since I was 17 in a group and then as Elton.
“The situation has changed personally. My children need to be with me and I need to be with them.
“I’m fed up travelling – and I travel in the most comfortable, luxurious way – but I find it really boring.
“By the time I finish I’ll be at least 75. That will be a chance to reassess what I want to do. I just owe it to those children to be there for them.”
And although they live a life of unimaginable luxury and count Lady Gaga as their Godmother or “Gagamother”, Elton insisted his sons with husband David are “quite grounded”.
He said: “They’ve seen the tour in New York. They know Daddy is famous. But when we are out and people are taking our photograph or ask for a photograph, they say, ‘Why do they want your photograph?’ We always say it’s ‘because people like my music’. We don’t say because I’m famous, or anything like that. I try to leave Elton on the stage.
“And they love their daddy’s music but they also like a lot of other people’s music, so they’re quite grounded.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Barton-Hanson has hit back at a fan who slammed her appearance and relationship with Wes Nelson.
The former ‘Love Island’ star was horrified when a follower decided to lay into her on Instagram and criticise her over her looks and her failed romance.
The follower wrote: “Megan not dissing you or anything, but I have gone off you since the whole Dancing On Ice stuff.
“I did not watch any of it as I don’t really watch Reality shows much well entertainment ones but I thought you sounded jealous of Vanessa, there was no way to act the way you did.
“I think you looked better without it so much you should tone down your image… Megan stop having surgery you have had a lot of Botox honestly you are twenty five, you are ruining your looks.
“Also not saying you are fat but you looked an bit big on holiday with Wes in the black bikini, like you gained about 35 pounds. I prefer you tiny not fat shaming just hard too believe someone who was so toned and fit could look like they gained so much weight (sic).”
However, Megan, 25, was furious and hit back at the troll, who is a vegan.
She wrote: “Ewww literally shocked! So she’s shamed me for gaining weight, for wearing too much makeup and having an opinion on a relationship she wasn’t even in.
“Mate! As if she thinks she’s that important, get back to documenting every vegan meal.”

OHMYGOSSIP — A new Migos album will be released next year.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting a follow-up to 2018’s ‘Culture II’ and while the trio have all been working on individual projects – Quavo’s ‘Quavo Huncho’, Takeoff’s ‘The Last Rocket’ and Offset’s ‘Father of 4’ – Offset has revealed that a new album is on the way.
In a Twitter chat with fans this week, he was asked when Migos plan to drop a new record and replied: “next year”.
He also revealed that he will release ‘Without Warning 2’, a sequel to his joint album with 21 Savage.
Meanwhile, Offset recently insisted he tried not to “offend anyone” with his solo album ‘Father of 4’.
The Migos rapper – who has eight-month-old daughter Kulture Kiari with his wife Cardi B, as well as Jordan, nine, and Kody and Kalea, both three, from previous relationships – wrote a song on his record which details the absent role he played in the first years of his daughter Kalea’s life, and says the lyrics were “hard” to write.
When asked which lyrics of title track ‘Father of 4’ were difficult to write, the 27-year-old rapper said: “The lyrics about my beautiful daughter Kalea, and not really having a relationship with her or knowing her mom well. My first daughter. The situation was a tight situation for me but I had to step up, like I said in the song. How it happened was a little rockstar-ish, but I still faced it. I wasn’t there for some time, but I faced it, and I’m there now.”
Offset is pleased people have “embraced” the song, as he was concerned he could have “offended” those involved, or people in similar situations.
He added: “Those were the hardest bars, though. It’s the truth. I didn’t want to offend anyone because it’s a very sensitive topic. I didn’t offend anyone and I appreciate how the people took it. They embraced it. It’s understanding the baby daddy’s side of it, who’s trying. It ain’t no excuse if you’re not trying, but there’s so much to fatherhood that even when you try, they try to play with it like it ain’t enough. I was just trying to let the feelings go, and say, ‘If you and your kids see eye-to-eye, and y’all got the relationship and y’all can understand, then it’s all good.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bebe Rexha has been on a “constant journey” to self-love.
The ‘Say My Name’ hitmaker has been trying to focus on herself and loving herself and her body more but admits it is not an easy journey.
She said: “I have moments of doing it and not doing it, but I think the one thing that works for me is taking care of yourself. I hate exercising – it’s the worst thing ever – but when I do exercise, I find myself loving my body more. Somebody actually sat down with me and they were like, ‘Name five things you don’t like about yourself,’ and I was like, ‘This, this, and, this.’ And then they were like, ‘Name five things that you love about yourself,’ and that took me a second. But you can’t be so hard on yourself. People make it seem like self-love is so easy, but self-love is a constant journey.”
And the 29-year-old singer has been saying positive things to herself to help improve her own self-confidence and self-worth.
She added to MTV: “I’ve learned that we say a lot of mean things to ourselves, especially when we look at ourselves in the mirror. I do it all the time too. But you have to start saying positive things to yourself.”
Bebe previously admitted her anxiety is an “everyday battle” and she has her own therapist to help her with the pressures of the “crazy” lifestyle she leads.
She shared: “I cry a lot. It’s tough. I have my own therapist and I have people I talk to. It’s an everyday battle, I feel. I don’t wanna feed into it, but my lifestyle is so crazy. When I first went to my first year of college, I was so intense. I didn’t know how to handle it and be around people …
“I’ve always had fear and anxiety [about] wanting to be accepted. But when I’ve shined the most and people have related to me the most, was when I was able to not eliminate those anxieties, or those fears, or insecurities, but to kind of just push through them. Obviously, they always come back. They’re never gone. But now I’m able to face them head on.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chiwetel Ejiofor makes more “careful choices” now after experiencing the “fragility of life”.
The ’12 Years A Slave’ star tragically lost his father in a car crash when Chiwetel was just 11-years-old and he admits it has changed his outlook on life.
He told The Times newspaper’s Weekend supplement: “Once you experience the fragility of life, I think you do make careful choices … I hope he’d be proud. I feel I am trying to have some of the conversations with the world that he was having when he died. On the sleeve of one of his albums he wrote, ‘I wish the world peace and human respect.’ He wasn’t political but he had a deep, humanist side. He was an optimist too. Optimism can be political. I think we can see that today. Young people like William Kamkwamba are optimistic and clever and the older generation sometimes need to step aside.”
Chiwetel previously admitted he struggles to understand fame.
He explained: “I don’t know what all of these things mean yet. In terms of stratification, fame, renown, all these things, it’s like an ongoing process of trying to work out what it means. Obviously, I’m aware that people react slightly differently to me. It’s not like people were rude before, and suddenly they’re polite. But yeah, you notice a slight shift, that people are slightly more aware of you – in the street, or whatever … I’m uncomfortable [with] this abstract idea of a weird power that has to do with being not anonymous … I put my pants on one leg at a time, just like I did before I was nominated for an Oscar.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies have led tributes to Mike Thalassitis, who has died aged 26.
The ‘Love Island’ winners have paid tribute to their co-star, who was found dead in woodland near his home in Essex on Friday (15.03.19).
Alongside a broken heart emoji, Kem wrote: “Such heartbreaking news. My thoughts go out to all of Mikes friends and family (sic)”
Whilst Amber added in her own post: “I am in utter shock. @MikeThalassitis you were one of the most genuine guy! I just can’t believe this! You’ll be missed so much you have no idea (sic)”
Tyla Carr, who had a short romance with Mike during the ITV dating show, also paid tribute to her friend and co-star.
She shared: “I can’t believe the call I’ve just had. Mike, you were loved by all of the Love island family. You’ll be missed so much. All my love goes out to your friends and family. Shocked.”
Dom Lever, who also appeared on the dating show, wrote: “I’m shocked at the news!! me and @MikeThalassitis may not have seen eye to eye but he was a top guy (sic)”
Whilst Jessica Shears added: “In complete shock, was lucky enough to get to know Mike, he was the loveliest guy. My heart breaks for his family.”
And stars from other series of ‘Love Island’ also paid tribute to the semi-professional footballer.
Kady McDermott wrote: “In absolute shock. Mike Thalassitis your lovely self and smile will be truly missed. I send my love and condolences to all of his friends and family at this awful time. Will never be forgotten. RIP (sic)”
Before he found fame as part of ‘Love Island’, Mike played football for Chelmsford City and Stevenage FC. OHMYGOSSIP — Dream Kardashian threw a birthday party for her father Rob.
The two-year-old helped plan a celebration for her dad Rob Kardashian as he celebrated his 32nd birthday with family and friends on Saturday (16.03.19).
Khloe Kardashian, Rob’s sister, wrote on Instagram: “Dreamy Dream wanted to throw her dad a special birthday party before she goes to see her mommy. Her daddy’s birthday is on Sunday (St. Pattys day) but she got her cousins together to celebrate! … Dream is great at throwing parties! Thank you Dreamy! She picked out the decorations, created the invite list and EVERYTHING. (sic)”
Dream’s parents Rob and Blac Chyna previously insisted they would be putting aside their differences to focus on their daughter and are “actively co-parenting”.
He wrote on his official Twitter account: “Angela and I are both actively co-parenting and there are no pending or active custody cases.”
Whilst Chyna added in her own post: “Robert and I only concern is what’s in the best interest of our daughter that we both equally love. Additionally, Robert is a wonderful father to our Dreamy!”
The comments came just a few weeks after reports surfaced that Rob was “mad” at Chyna after she jetted off to Hawaii whilst she was meant to have custody of Dream.
A source said at the time: “Chyna planned on having Dream stay with a nanny in LA while she was in Hawaii. Rob is mad because if either parent is out of town, the other parent is supposed to have the option to keep Dream longer. Rob doesn’t want Dream to stay alone with a nanny while Chyna parties in Hawaii. This is what he is mad about. She needs to tell him when she won’t be in LA so Rob can keep Dream longer. Rob is getting his lawyer involved.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emilia Clarke finds it “anxiety inducing” being so well known.
The ‘Game of Thrones’ star shot to international fame for her role as Queen Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO fantasy series and she admits the celebrity status it has brought her can be difficult at times.
She said: “I do get recognised more now. Sometimes you walk down the street and someone is like, ‘Wah.’ I do feel very guarded about my anonymity. You know, I like going to the butcher’s and having a chat and it being a normal thing.
“I like human interaction. I value it, I appreciate it. It’s what makes me feel happy. So when that is taken away with someone looking at you in a different guise, it can be incredibly difficult. It can be anxiety inducing.”
And the 32-year-old actress refuses to scroll through online posts about herself all the show as she feels it isn’t good for her “mental health”.
She told The Sun newspaper: “I never Google myself. I never read anything about the show. Absolutely nothing. I don’t find it helpful for my mental health.”
Emilia previously revealed she has a “rule” not to Google herself.
She admitted: “I never look at the internet. I have a rule: I just don’t Google myself. I’m on social media but I don’t look at the stuff that other people tag me in because it messes me up. If you hate me, I don’t need to know. I can barely even look at myself on the screen, so I keep a very big distance from it, and if anyone ever says anything really lovely, or something wonderful happens, someone will tell me. And then if it’s something bad, my mum will probably tell me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are so supportive of each other.
The ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker recently got engaged to the former baseball star and a friend of the sportsman has revealed that the pair click because they are so understanding of one another’s work commitments.
A source told the New York Post’s Page Six column: “They’re so respectful to each other. When Alex is working for ESPN [calling baseball games], Jennifer goes … and sits quietly in the booth because she likes to watch him. They have that kind of relationship. Likewise, when she was doing her [concert residency] in Las Vegas, he would fly in. He was at almost every show. The support level is incredible.”
And Jennifer is “over the moon” after getting engaged to Alex.
Her friend Ne-Yo shared: “Anybody who’s ever seen the two of them together, it’s like, ‘They getting married. Yeah, they getting married. That’s going to happen.’ I found out the same way everyone else did. I looked on IG and saw and went, ‘Oh, it finally happened!’

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Pratt “died and went to heaven” when he shared the stage with Garth Brooks.
The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star was overwhelmed when he stepped on stage with the country singer and admits it was a dream come true for him.
Alongside a crying and praying emoji, he wrote: “Welp. I guess I died and gone to heaven. Thank you @garthbrooks and congratulations on the artist of the decade award. It was an honour to sing with you and the band on stage. I can’t wait for the upcoming stadium tour. God is so good. Thank you thank you thank you (sic)”
And Garth shared Chris’ post and thanked the actor for making the night “perfect”.
He wrote in the caption: “Chris, you made the whole night perfect for me…thank you for your time and your kind words. love you, hoss. g (sic)”
And Chris has another reason to be happy as of late as he is set to marry his fiancee Katherine Schwarzenegger and he is “very involved” with the wedding planning, according to his soon-to-be wife.
She said: “I think that you know, for me, my family is very involved. I’m very involved, [Chris is] very involved, so it’s a great combination of everything and just a really exciting and fun [time].”
The ‘Jurassic World’ star announced his engagement with a post on Instagram in mid January, where he shared a snap of the pair with Katherine’s engagement ring on show.
He captioned it: “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Thalassitis has reportedly died at the age of 26.
The ‘Love Island’ star was found in a woodland near his home in Essex on Friday (15.03.19), multiple news outlets are reporting.
At the time of writing, the family have yet to comment publicly but his fellow reality stars have rushed to social media to pay tribute to their friend.

Mike was a semi-professional footballer and one of his old teams, Chelmsford City FC, took to social media to pay tribute to the sportsman.
They wrote on their official page: “The Club are saddened to hear the news of the passing of former #Clarets striker Mike Thalassitis. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends at this time. #ClaretTogether (sic)”

Whilst Mario Falcone shared: “This is absolutely heartbreaking.”

Fans have also rushed online to pay their tributes to the ‘Love Island’ star, with one writing: “I honestly cannot believe what I am reading @MikeThalassitis has died (sic)”
