Jamie-Lynn Sigler opens up about being a mother with multiple sclerosis

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie-Lynn Sigler has opened up about being a mother with multiple sclerosis.
The 37-year-old actress has two sons Beau, five, and Jack, two, with her husband Cutter Dykstra and has admitted that living with the condition – which affects the central nervous system, disrupting the flow of information within the brain and between the brain and body – not only affects her but her entire family but her struggles have made her a “strong” person.
In an essay for Shonaland.com, she wrote: “MS – any chronic illness, really – becomes your whole family’s disease, not just your own. It affects our daily choices, and while sometimes I resent that, it has also made me see how strong I am.”
Jamie-Lynn – who is best known for portraying Meadow on ‘The Sopranos’ – also revealed that she worries that her condition would prevent her from protecting her kids if they were caught up in a shooting because she wouldn’t be able to make a quick escape.
She said: “I had to have the talk with my husband about what we’d do in the worst of circumstances, where I thought out loud, ‘If there ever was a mass shooting, you have to take the kids and run, and trust I will do my best to stay safe.’ Just thinking about this still makes me tear up.”
Jamie-Lynn was diagnosed with MS 17 years ago but only decided to go public with her condition in 2016.
The actress admits she was “terrified” when she found out she was pregnant with her first baby six years ago and worried about not being able to be the “fun mom” who can play and be active with her kids.
She wrote: “A million thoughts ran through my head. What if he runs off and I can’t chase him one day? What if I can’t carry him up and down the stairs? What if he won’t want to play with me because I can’t be the ‘fun mom’ who runs on the beach with him, or chases him around the house?”

The brother and sister pop duo have officially confirmed they are saying goodbye to their residency after 11 years of performing their ‘Donny and Marie Show’ at the Flamingo Hotel.
The duo appeared on ‘Good Morning America’ on Thursday (21.03.19) to break the news to their fans.
Donny said: “It’s been rumoured that we are bringing ‘Donny & Marie’ to an end here in Las Vegas and we are here to say it’s official.”
When asked by host Paula Faris if the announcement “was hard to say”, Donny, 61, replied: “It’s very, very hard.”
The ‘Vegas Love’ hitmaker admires his sister, 59, as she has remained a professional and committed performer despite going through rough times in the past.
He said: “We have been through so much the past eleven years, her particularly – and she gets on stage and she’s such a professional and she does a great job. I’m going to miss this a lot. What she’s gone through and still remained a professional there’s a bond here that will never be broken.”

Nikki Bella: Seeing John Cena with another woman would hurt

OHMYGOSSIP — Nikki Bella says seeing John Cena with someone else will “kill” her.
The 35-year-old reality star ended her romance with her former fiancé just weeks before their planned wedding date last year, but has said that despite her efforts to move on from the split, she would be devastated to see him romancing someone else.
In a preview clip for the upcoming season finale of ‘Total Bellas’, Nikki told her twin sister Brie: “No matter what, the next time I see him with someone it’s going to kill me. I still have a long way to go, but honestly I’m ready for a new me.”
Since the scenes were shot, Nikki has been enjoying dates with a number of men including Artem Chigvinstev – whom she was paired with on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2017 – and Peter Kraus.
And recently, it was claimed ‘Blockers’ star John was “happy” to see Nikki moving on from their break up.
A source said: “John is happy that Nikki has moved on because the end of their relationship was extremely toxic. He has finally moved on as well and is in a good place.”
The pair have “no desire to work things out right now”, and sources say they’ve both realised they’re “better off apart”.
The insider added: “In the end they just both realised that they are better off apart. She made him out to be a monster and he kind of was in the end. But she harbours no hard feelings towards him either. It just ran its course.”
Meanwhile, Nikki recently claimed to still be close friends with wrestler and actor John, and said she was “grateful” to have him in her life.
She said: “We’re good … as good as being apart can be. I’ve always been grateful to have John in my life and to have a man like that. He’s an amazing man. And even through such a hard breakup, he has been truly so amazing.”

Kylie Jenner: Life didn’t start until I had Stormi

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner’s “life didn’t start” until she gave birth to her daughter.
The 21-year-old reality star has 13-month-old tot Stormi with her boyfriend Travis Scott, and says being a mother has given her a different perspective on life, and made her more “positive” as a person.
She said: “The way that I look at things is a lot more positive and I really feel like my life didn’t start until I had her.”
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star was slammed for her decision to start a family when she was just 20, but Kylie says the comments didn’t phase her as she “always knew” she wanted to be a “young mother”.
She added: “I always knew I wanted to be a young mother. I remember people used to ask, ‘Are you ready for this?’ And I always knew I was ready but you don’t know what that love and that feeling is like until after you have a child.”
Kylie admits it was “a lot” at first for her to realise Stormi comes “before” herself, but now says the tot has changed her life.
Speaking to Interview Germany, she said: “She really comes before me so that is a lot to take in at a young age but I feel like I was definitely made for this and she has changed my life for the better.”
Meanwhile, the lip kit mogul recently claimed Stormi “chose her own name”.
She said: “I felt it the whole time. Yeah, I feel like she chose her own name. Pretty much, I wanted – I looked up names, and I saw Storm, and I really liked that. But I wanted her to have an ‘ie’ at the end of her name like me, Kylie and Stormi. So it was that at first, and I would just call her – when I was pregnant, I used to call her Stormi when I would talk to her in my belly. And it just always felt right. I had one more name that I liked – I had two names that I honestly liked better than Stormi but when I had her, I felt like she chose her own name. And I just couldn’t imagine any other name other than Stormi, so yeah.”

Emilia Clarke almost died after brain aneurysm

OHMYGOSSIP — Emilia Clarke suffered two life-threatening brain aneurysms whilst filming ‘Game of Thrones’.
The 32-year-old actress – who stars as Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO fantasy drama – has revealed that she almost died in 2011, after doctors discovered she had two aneurysms in her brain.
Emilia says that following the first season of the ‘Game of Thrones’, she decided to unwind by working out with a trainer, but began suffering from “constricting pain” in her head.
Writing in an essay for The New Yorker entitled ‘A Battle for My Life’, she said: “On the morning of February 11, 2011, I was getting dressed in the locker room of a gym in Crouch End, North London, when I started to feel a bad headache coming on. I was so fatigued that I could barely put on my sneakers. When I started my workout, I had to force myself through the first few exercises.
“Then my trainer had me get into the plank position, and I immediately felt as though an elastic band were squeezing my brain. I tried to ignore the pain and push through it, but I just couldn’t. I told my trainer I had to take a break. Somehow, almost crawling, I made it to the locker room. I reached the toilet, sank to my knees, and proceeded to be violently, voluminously ill. Meanwhile, the pain – shooting, stabbing, constricting pain – was getting worse. At some level, I knew what was happening: my brain was damaged.”
From the gym, Emilia was taken to hospital and given an MRI scan, which showed she had a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a life-threatening type of stroke caused by bleeding into the space surrounding the brain.
She continued: “As I later learned, about a third of SAH patients die immediately or soon thereafter. For the patients who do survive, urgent treatment is required to seal off the aneurysm, as there is a very high risk of a second, often fatal bleed. If I was to live and avoid terrible deficits, I would have to have urgent surgery. And, even then, there were no guarantees.”
After surgery, Emilia then began to suffer from aphasia – an impairment of language following brain trauma – and couldn’t even recall her own name.
She wrote: “I was suffering from a condition called aphasia, a consequence of the trauma my brain had suffered. Even as I was muttering nonsense, my mum did me the great kindness of ignoring it and trying to convince me that I was perfectly lucid. But I knew I was faltering. In my worst moments, I wanted to pull the plug. I asked the medical staff to let me die. My job – my entire dream of what my life would be – centred on language, on communication. Without that, I was lost.”
The actress’ aphasia passed after a week in hospital, but before returning to work, she was told she had a second, smaller aneurysm on the other side of her brain, which doctors believed would stay “dormant”.
She added: “The doctors said, though, that it was small and it was possible it would remain dormant and harmless indefinitely. We would just keep a careful watch.
“I told my bosses at ‘Thrones’ about my condition, but I didn’t want it to be a subject of public discussion and dissection. The show must go on! Even before we began filming Season 2, I was deeply unsure of myself. I was often so woozy, so weak, that I thought I was going to die.”
In the wake of her health scare, Emilia has helped to set up the charity SameYou, which helps to provide treatment for people recovering from brain injuries and strokes.

Michael Jackson to stay in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Jackson will stay in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, despite the allegations of sexual abuse made against him.
The late King of Pop – who died from acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 at the age of 50 – has become the subject of allegations in the HBO documentary ‘Leaving Neverland’, in which James Safechuck and Wade Robson claim that Michael sexually abused both of them after befriending them when they were children.
And despite the claims against him, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has said he won’t be kicked out of the history books, and will remain a two-time inductee.
Hall of Fame bosses told TMZ that the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker was recognised by the organisation for musical excellence and talent, along with having a lasting impact on the music industry, which remains the case despite the allegations.
Michael has been inducted into the iconic Hall of Fame twice by a voting body of historians, fellow musicians, and industry professionals, once for his work with the Jackson 5 in 1997, and once for his solo career in 2001.
The Hall of Fame also claims none of the ‘Billie Jean’ singer’s memorabilia will be removed from the museum in Cleveland, Ohio.
Meanwhile, Wade Robson recently said he has no “moral authority” to decide whether people should stop listening to Michael’s music in the wake of the allegations, but says he has stopped listening to it himself.
He said: “I don’t have any moral authority to make a judgement for everyone else on that. I don’t listen to his music because I have a personal experience with it. But that’s everyone’s individual choice. [I hope the documentary] will question in general who it is that we’re worshipping and why.”
The Michael Jackson estate has denied the allegations and has branded both accusers “perjurers” and “admitted liars”.

Jamie Lynn Spears felt ‘insecure’ about early motherhood

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Lynn Spears used to feel “insecure” about being a young mother.
The 27-year-old actress gave birth to her first daughter Maddie over a decade ago in 2008 when she was just 17, and has said the feeling of being “the youngest mom in the room” used to leave her feeling self-conscious about her parenting abilities, until she realised being a good mother isn’t about age.
She said: “I used to be insecure at times, because I was always the youngest mom in the room. I quickly learned that being a good and competent mother has nothing to do with age. I have met some of the most wonderful, amazing moms who are anywhere from 20 years old to 50 years old, so young or old, love is all it’s really about.”
The ‘Zoey 101’ alum – who has Maddie with her ex-fiancé Casey Aldridge, and also has 11-month-old daughter Ivey with husband Jamie Watson – now firmly believes no mother should compare themselves to anyone else, as “each mother is different”.
She added: “Do not compare yourself as a mother to anyone else. Each child is different, and therefore, each mother is different. … Take advice from others, but always trust your instincts and what your gut is telling you more than anything.”
And Jamie says Google has been a huge help to her in navigating the world of parenting, especially with a decade between her children.
Speaking to Us Weekly magazine, she said: “If you’re questioning anything, you can Google it, which is very helpful at times, but also can cause you to have a meltdown over a simple cough because the internet said it could possibly be something horrible. Having everything delivered so you don’t have to get your new baby out when they are sick or the weather is bad is a big win for a mom. It’s crazy how much the internet has changed things.”

Lena Dunham ‘breaks up’ with her scales

OHMYGOSSIP — Lena Dunham has “ended her relationship” with her scales.
The 32-year-old actress has taken to social media to post an amusing video in which she speaks to the camera as though she is in the middle of a break-up, only to reveal the recipient of her heartbreaking speech is her weighing scales, which she has decided to throw away.
In the video, Lena says: “So yeah, this is a breakup. I can’t do this anymore. I don’t have feelings for you anymore. I don’t love you anymore. And, I’ve tried. I’ve tried to do it different ways. I’ve tried to bring the excitement back.”
After holding the scales up, the ‘Girls’ creator then throws them in the trash, adding: “We’re done. Bye.”
Captioning the post, Lena revealed she’d had the weight measuring tool for a whopping 25 years, before deciding she no longer wants to focus on how much she weighs.
She wrote: “Ending a 25 year relationship with a long overdue Dear John #later#itsover #itsbeenreal (sic)”
And although her relationship with her scales might be over, Lena recently revealed she is back in the dating game following her 2017 split from Jack Antonoff, as she said she’s thrown herself into the dating scene “with the abandon of a grandma of ten shopping duty-free”.
But despite her efforts, Lena is yet to meet a man who she could contemplate spending the rest of her life, and it has made her re-evaluate what she wants in all aspects of a relationship.
She said: “I know what it is to be in love, and I liked it. But the bigger issue is, I know what it’s like to make a home with someone, and I loved it. It’s safe. It’s free of shame and pain and humiliation. It was heaven, eating Indian food in front of old episodes of ‘Strangers with Candy’, and it relegated me to a life without arousal. This moment in history has forced me to ask why I want what I want, and to consider all the societal forces (gender presentation, race, privilege) that allow me to want it in the first place.”

Demi Lovato earns new jiu-jitsu belt degree

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato has earned her second degree blue belt in jiu-jitsu.
The 26-year-old singer has been hard at work studying the Brazilian martial art since she left rehab following a near-fatal overdose over the summer, and has now said she’s worked hard enough to earn a new degree in the sport.
Posting a picture on her Instagram story, Demi wrote: “2nd degree blue belt!!!!
Thank you @1chrislight!! You’re the best!!!
“This means the world to me and I couldn’t be happier. Brazilian jiu jitsu is a passion of mine and I can’t wait to learn more and more.
“Thank you @1chrislight for teaching me so much. I can’t believe how far I’ve come since working together. You’re a legend!! (sic)”
The ‘Sober’ hitmaker first earned her blue belt back in August 2017, and is her second of seven belt levels in the Brazilian jiu-jitsu system.
Within each level, instructors can award degrees – also known as stripes – to honour a student’s progress and skill before they’re ready to move up to the next level.
For Demi, the stripe comes after she recently revealed she knocked her trainer’s tooth out whilst at her favourite mixed martial arts gym, Unbreakable Performance in Hollywood, despite him wearing a mouth guard to protect against such injuries.
On social media, the ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer wrote: “Holy s**t I literally knocked @jayglazer’s tooth out during training this morning – while he was wearing a mouth piece!!!! Hahahahaha sorry (not sorry) Jay!!! So coach, when’s my first fight?! #unbreakableperformance (sic)”
Following her overdose in July, Demi has been “committed” to her sobriety, which includes focusing her energy on more positive activities such as exercise.
A source recently insisted the ‘Solo’ hitmaker has been working hard behind the scenes to remain sober and has cut off her “enabling” friends, with her biggest motivation being the chance to get back on stage.

Jade Goody’s sons raising money for charity on anniversary of her death

OHMYGOSSIP — Jade Goody’s sons are hosting a quiz night to raise money for charity, in honour of the 10th anniversary of her passing.
The former ‘Big Brother’ star died of cancer in March 2009, and her sons Bobby, 15, and 14-year-old Freddy – whom she had with former boyfriend Jeff Brazier – have decided to mark the tragic anniversary by holding a private charity quiz night for family and friends.
Bobby and Freddy will split the money raised from the quiz between cancer charity Marie Curie – who were “fantastic” in caring for Jade in her final days – and children’s hospital Great Ormond Street.
In tweets shared by Jeff, he revealed: “Staggeringly, Its been 10 years my children have had to do without the most important person in their life. To their absolute credit, they want to mark the occasion remembering their Mum by raising money for charity at their private quiz night amongst family and friends.
“They have personally chosen @mariecurieuk because of how fantastic they have heard the nurses were in caring for their Mum in her final days. They have also elected to support @GOSHCharity on this occasion for their work with the bravest of children too. (sic)”
Jeff then called on the support of his 24,400 followers to donate what they can to the cause in order to “encourage” his sons, and said he hoped the family would be able to “pay respect” to Jade through the evening.
He added: “Your support offers more than a wonderful donation. It grants the encouragement to know they are being brave and that their efforts are seen. It tells them they are not alone in their grief and that others, friends they are yet to meet are keeping an eye on their journey.
“As a parent i thank you for embracing their bravery in daring to remember joyfully. Its all I’ve ever wanted to encourage and they both look forward to creating an evening that their Mum would have so loved to have been at the heart of. This for us is how you truly pay respect.”
As of the time of writing, the cause – which is being hosted through Virgin Money Giving – has already smashed the £1,000 target, with a total of £1,178 in donations.
Meanwhile, Jeff has also helped to raise £1.3 million for the Grief Encounter charity, who held their gala dinner earlier this week.
He tweeted about the total: “Incredible achievement by all. £1.3 million raised for @griefencounter on Monday night! Really proud of that. @oliviajwayne you were seriously delightful to host with and @Beverleyknight I haven’t stopped listening to you since. (Prodigal Sista album was big for me back in day) (sic)”

Lady Gaga romancing Jeremy Renner?

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga is reportedly spending a lot of time with Jeremy Renner.
The 32-year-old singer turned actress split from her former fiancé Christian Carino in February after two years together, and it’s now been reported she’s been getting close to ‘Avengers’ star Jeremy.
According to People magazine, sources say the pair have been “spending time together” recently, and have speculated a romance could be blossoming between the pair.
Meanwhile, Gaga recently slammed social media as the “toilet of the internet”, after she became the centre of romance rumours with her ‘A Star Is Born’ co-star Bradley Cooper, who is married to Irina Shayk.
When asked about the rumours, Gaga – who performed ‘Shallow’ from the movie with Bradley at the Oscars, where the rumours started – simply rolled her eyes, before she said: “First of all, social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet and what it’s done to pop culture is abysmal.
“People saw love and, guess what, that’s what we wanted to you to see. This is a love song. The movie, ‘A Star Is Born’, it’s a love story.”
Her comments came after a source also hit out at the rumours, stating Bradley, 44, is still “totally secure” in his relationship with Irina – with whom he has two-year-old daughter Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper.
The insider said: “He is an honest guy and who is in a relationship and everyone has gotten very carried away with the gossip.
“Irina is with him a lot. She comes out all the time and they are really sweet together. Bradley is caring and conscious of her feelings. He doesn’t want Irina to feel uncomfortable and she seems totally secure with their relationship.”

Alec Baldwin doesn’t want more kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Alec Baldwin is “not up for the challenge” of having more children.
The 60-year-old actor is already father to five children – 23-year-old Ireland, whom he has with ex-wife Kim Basinger, and Carmen Gabriela, five, Rafael Thomas, three, Leonardo Ángel Charles, two, and Romeo Alejandro David, 10 months, whom he has with current spouse Hilaria Baldwin – and although his wife would love to have more tots running around the house, Alec isn’t so sure.
He said: “Oh yeah, [Hilaria’s] up for the challenge. I’m the one who’s not up for the challenge.”
And when asked why he’s against the idea of expanding their brood any further, the ‘Boss Baby’ star cited his age.
He added: “When my kids graduate school, I’ll be 85.”
But Alec says there is a plus side to being an older father, as he joked he’ll be deaf by the time they’re teenagers so won’t be able to hear the “really bad things” they get up to.
Speaking to People magazine, he said: “As my friends say, when your kids are climbing out the window and they’re going to do really, really bad things when they get older, when they’re in their late teen years, you’ll be deaf anyway so you won’t have to hear it. Let’s see what happens.”
Although he’s ruled out the idea of a fifth tot with Hilaria, the 35-year-old health and wellness expert said in October that she was still debating the idea.
She said: “I think about it a lot. When I’ll have a day that’s really really hard with the kids, I’m like, ‘No more kids!’ and then I’ll have a day where they’re like really cute like this, and I’m like, ‘I could have another one.'”

Speaking on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ he said: “He’s so universally loved, and I just want to make him happy really. Just getting over the pressure of it and having a good time.”
Host James then inquired as to when Elton will see it, and Taron quickly laughed and replied: “I don’t want to know!”

Kerry Katona’s partners were jealous of kids

OHMYGOSSIP —
Kerry Katona’s former partners have all been “jealous” of her children.
The 38-year-old star – who has Molly, 17, and Lilly-Sue, 16, with first husband Brian McFadden, Heidi, 12, and Max, 10, with second spouse Mark Croft, and Dylan-Jorge, four, with third husband George Kay – has learned a lot from her previous relationships and won’t make the same mistakes again.
She said: “Every relationship I’ve had, th man has always been quite jealous of my children, of me giving them affection. That’s not going to happen again.”
And if she does find a new man, Kerry wants them t feel “lucky” to be joining her family.
She told Closer magazine: “I’ve learned to love myself now and I’m feeling more confident than I have in a long time.
“If I’m going to bring somebody into my life now, they’re the lucky ones because me and my family are amazing and they’d be lucky to be a part of it.”
The former Atomic Kitten singer believes her string of doomed marriages are a result of her chasing the “fantasy” of a happy ending.
She said: “For me, I always wanted to me a mum and a wife.
“When I met Brian, all my dreams had come true and when it fell apart, I felt like a failure.
“I tried to recreate what I had with Brian with Mark and George.
“Now I realise what I was doing. I’d always wanted a family unit and I was always trying to fulfil that fantasy.
“That’s why I punish myself now for my mistakes.”
Kerry has accused George of being abusive – which he has denied – and she admitted she “profusely apologised” to her kids after they had split.
She said: “After it was over with George, I was profusely apologising to my girls because when you’re in a domestically violent relationship, you’re almost groomed until you get out of it. I did eventually.”

Taraji P Henson taking summer off

OHMYGOSSIP — Taraji P. Henson is taking the summer off to “be normal”.
The ‘Hidden Figures’ actress previously admitted she wants to wed her fiance Kelvin Hayden in the warmer months, but it won’t be this year because she hasn’t had enough time to plan her big day and she’s looking forward to enjoying some vacation time instead.
She told ‘Extra’: “I’m taking the summer off. It’s too late! A wedding you have to plan in a year… I’m just going to take this summer and be normal, take a vacation — a couple, a few — I have a girlfriends’ trip coming up, then me and my fiancé have to do something.”
The 48-year-old actress – who has son Marcell, 26, with her late former partner William Johnson – admitted she hasn’t set a date or found a wedding dress yet and joked she knows where her priorities should be.
She quipped: “The dress should come first; I think I know who will make it.”
Taraji recently admitted she was still “learning how to be ready” for marriage, as she said she and her future husband are learning “how to be better in a relationship” every day.
She said: “I’m still learning how to be ready. Every day I’m learning how to be better in a relationship. I just found out, in our therapy sessions, that men have fewer words than women. I didn’t know that. They run out of words. Because women are emotional, we want to talk through everything. Of course we have more words; we’re the communicators. Kelvin, he thinks he’s a comedian. Anytime we’re in a disagreement or I’m like, ‘We need to talk about this,’ he’ll look at me and say, ‘Baby, I done ran out of words.’ He’s joking, but I’m starting to accept that it’s true.”

Cole Sprouse’s strip club tour

OHMYGOSSIP — Cole Sprouse and Haley Lu Richardson went on a “wild strip club tour” during a break from filming ‘Five Feet Apart’.
The pair star together in the emotional drama – which follows two teenagers with cystic fibrosis who fall in love in hospital – and they enjoyed getting “drunk” and letting their hair down when they got time off.
Speaking on ‘Busy Tonight’, Cole said: “She took us on the most wild strip club tour inside of New Orleans.”I felt like, I’m too sheltered because I was a 23-year-old woman-girl-person and I had never been to a strip club.
“We were in New Orleans, doing this heavy movie, and, like, on the weekends, all I wanted to do was get drunk and go to strip clubs. So, that’s what we did.”
But Cole – who shot to fame alongside his twin brother Dylan in ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ when he was just 12 years old – was unable to go unrecognised.
He quipped: “Apparently a lot of the strippers watch Disney Channel.”
However, his co-star didn’t even notice because she was too mesmerised by the “inspiring” women on stage.
She said: “Did they recognise you? I was honestly too into watching them [that] I forgot that I was with anyone. Because they’re incredible… There’s a way to be a stripper and it to be magnificent and athletic and incredible and inspiring.
“I think… I was like, ‘How are you doing that? And you’re making that much money. And you’re getting a workout. And you’re hot!’ ”
