Aubrey Plaza: Chris Pratt was always farting on Parks and Rec

OHMYGOSSIP — Aubrey Plaza says Chris Pratt couldn’t stop farting on the set of ‘Parks and Recreation’.
The 34-year-old actress reunited with her former cast mates for the 10th anniversary of the beloved comedy’s launch, and admitted she didn’t appreciate Chris and their gassy fellow actor Nick Offerman for their antics.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Aubrey was asked a question from Nick himself – “Which cast member made your favorite noises with his or her body?” – and responded: “That is so annoying because Nick and Pratt use to fart all the time.
“And it would make Amy and I really angry! So I don’t appreciate that question, and I’m going to say, ‘Pass Nick.’ ”
Last summer, Aubrey teased her friend after she and his ‘Jurassic World’ co-star Bryde Dallas Howard presented him with the MTV Generation Award at the MTV Movie & TV Awards in June, and the pair couldn’t resist the change to poke fun at his “incredible range”.
Aubrey – who starred with him in ‘Parks and Rec’ for six years – said: “Chris has incredible range. In ‘Parks and Rec’, he played Andy Dwyer, a dim-witted but lovable shoe shiner with good intentions, but not always the best ideas.”
Bryce continued: “And then, in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, he completely transformed into Peter Quill.”
Chris took the comments in good spirits, and he could be seen laughing in the audience as Aubrey added: “The dim-witted but lovable ship captain with good intentions, but not always the best ideas.”
Bryce – who also appeared with Chris in sequel ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ – said: “And then he showed us an entirely different side of himself in Jurassic World as Owen Grady.”
Aubrey quipped: “A dim-witted but lovable dinosaur guy with good intentions, but not always the best ideas.”

Gemma Collins to release song with Naughty Boy

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins is to release a song with Naughty Boy.
The 38-year-old reality TV star has written a heartbreak tune, ‘Come Home’, inspired by her on/off relationship with James ‘Arg’ Argent, and the 34-year-old music producer – who has worked with Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, and Cheryl – has tipped the former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star to make it big in the music industry.
He said: “She was born to sing, it’s just that she’s actually taken a different route with it.
“But I think Gemma is going to have one of the biggest songs of the year, I can say that with my hand on my heart.
“It’s definitely a romantic song and Gemma’s got such a big heart, it makes a lot of sense of her whole life right now.”
Naughty Boy had “instant synergy” with Gemma when he was introduced to her at the BRIT Awards earlier this year, and he has believed she is going to be a “superstar” ever since she sang him a version of Beyonce’s ‘Running’.
He added to The Sun newspaper: “She sung me a part of ‘Running’, the Beyonce song, and when she sung me that, I was thinking, ‘This girl can actually sing, she’s got a personality and she’s got a following. This is the new age superstar.
“When people hear the music and hear her voice, I think it’s going to take her up a notch.
“I don’t consider Gemma a reality TV person, I consider her a superstar.”
This latest attempt to release a song isn’t Gemma’s first time in a studio.
Last year, she stepped into the recording booth to perform a cover of ‘Everybody’s Free to Feel Good’ by Rozalla to promote MTV’s new reality show ‘ReFreshers Week’, and admitted she would love to release an album one day.
She said: “I’ve come out of my mother’s you-know-what singing … I would like to do an album, I would like a Christmas number one, I’m not gonna lie.”

Paul Chuckle says he and Barry were ‘like chalk and cheese’

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Chuckle admits he and his late brother Barry were “like chalk and cheese” despite working together for so long.
The real life Elliott siblings performed as the Chuckle Brothers for 56 and were also best friends spending 45 weeks each year side by side, but Paul admitted he and Barry – who sadly passed away in August last year aged 73 – had a lot of differences.
Paul, 71, told the Daily Star newspaper: “We were like chalk and cheese in what we liked and didn’t like. For example, I’ll eat anything but Barry would only eat egg and chips or roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. And he didn’t like going on holiday because he hated queuing through security.”
The comedy duo – who were best known for their hugely popular long-running kids TV show ‘ChuckleVision’ and their memorable “to me, to you” catchphrase” got on famously, and Paul admitted while they had their disagreements “five minutes later it was over”.
Last summer, Barry’s manager Phil Dale announced the sad news that the entertainer had “passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife Ann and all his family” after a battle with cancer.
Now, brother Paul – who added that he will miss Barry “greatly” – has admitted his sibling’s “downfall” was how much he hated going to hospital or to see the doctor.
He said: “All his life, one of his problem was that he hated going to see the doctor. He hated hospitals. He couldn’t stand the smell of them.
“And probably that was a big thing towards his downfall. A lot of men are like that. I’m not… because my missus tells me to go and get that sorted, go and see what that is. But that’s right. You should go.”

Danny Boyle says Bond 25 departure is ‘great shame’

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Boyle says his James Bond movie departure was “a great shame”.
The 62-year-old director had signed up to helm the 25th film about the suave spy, but he left the project in August due to “creative differences” with producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, and he has now confirmed a script dispute was the reason.
He said: “I learned quite a lot about myself working with Bond. I work in partnership with writers and I am not prepared to break it up.
“We were working very, very well, but they didn’t want to go down that route with us.
“So we decided to part company.”
Cary Joji Fukunaga has since been appointed as the movie’s new helmer, and Boyle wouldn’t reveal any specific details about the disagreement because it would be “unfair” on his replacement.
He said: “It would be unfair to say what it was because I don’t know what Cary is going to do.
“I got a very nice message from him and I gave him my best wishes … It is just a great shame.”
Boyle was working on the Bond script with his writing collaborator John Hodge and while that screenplay has since been ditched, the filmmaker firmly believes their movie would’ve been “really good”.
He added to Empire magazine: “What John [Hodge] and I were doing, I thought, was really good. It wasn’t finished, but it could have been really good.”
The hotly-anticipated new Bond film was reported to be titled ‘Shatterhand’, but Broccoli recently hinted that is not the case.
She signed a piece of fan art which included the word “Shatterhand” on, but she drew an arrow and wrote the words “it’s not”.
The movie is expected to be Daniel Craig’s last outing as the Martini-swigging spy after playing the iconic character in ‘Casino Royale’, ‘Quantum of Solace’, ‘Skyfall’ and ‘Spectre’.
Since Boyle departed the film, Rami Malek has been linked to the motion picture to potentially play a Bond villain, while Billy Magnussen is said to have been in talks about portraying a CIA operative.

Colin Farrell loved exploring Dumbo sets once everyone else had left

OHMYGOSSIP — Colin Farrell walked around the ‘Dumbo’ sets in awe after everyone else had left.
The 42-year-old actor – who plays the part of amputee circus performer-turned-soldier Holt Farrier – admitted he wasn’t quite ready for the scale of Tim Burton’s imagination and “the degree of elaborateness” that would be present on set.
Speaking to CinemaBlend, he said: “I expected… My mind is not potent enough to have expected the degree of elaborateness that was present on the sets of this film.
“But I knew that it would be elaborate, and I knew that it would be big, and I knew that it would be beautiful, and colorful, and noisy. But I had no idea.
“And when I saw some of the sets, I mean they were just the most beautiful, you know? I’d find myself walking on to the sets when there was nobody there and just looking around.”
Farrell revealed while he didn’t have an attachment to the original 1941 animated ‘Dumbo’ movie – or even to circuses as a whole – he still felt “a lot of gratitude” for the experience of making the film.
He added: “And talk about moments of nostalgia! Even though I didn’t have relationship with Dumbo or circuses, it’s just honestly a lot of gratitude, actually, for living in such a beautiful world, and being a part of telling a story, albeit for a finite moment in time.”
Meanwhile, the actor has also admitted he even spent a lot of his breaks sitting on the set and watching his director in action because he was so “engaged” with the filmmaking process.
He recently said: “Tim Burton is lovely. I loved working with him, I really did. I could watch him on a film set all day.
“I would often sit by Craft Services eating snacks and watch him work on the set, because he’s really engaged with the whole process of shooting a film. The way he moves is frenetic. He is a very magical dude.”

Sky Ferreira confirms March release date for new single

OHMYGOSSIP — Sky Ferreira has confirmed she will release her first single in five years on Wednesday (27.03.19).
The 26-year-old singer/songwriter took to Instagram to share the artwork for her new song, ‘Downhill Lullaby’, and revealed the drop date in the caption.
Alongside numerous emojis, including two of broken hearts, she wrote: “03/27/19”
Sky – whose last single was 2014 song ‘I Blame Myself’, from her debut studio album ‘Night Time, My Time’ – hit out at her record label last year, claiming she had been “forced” to hand over login details of her Soundcloud account and was then locked out.
In an Instagram post directed at the online audio distribution platform, she wrote: “Hey @soundcloud I can’t access my own account that I started & uploaded everything myself. I ended up bamboozled.I was forced/told I had no choice to hand over my account information to my label after my album came out. They gave me the wrong information & changed it so I can no longer access it. The person who changed the login is unreachable & the contact no longer exist. I need it back ASAP. I earned the hundreds of thousands of people that follow the account without my label & have never had help/paid for anything on social media or whatever. I think of soundcloud as the website that allows musicians to have freedom. Please help xx SKY FERREIRA. PS: I would like to clarify I have always done all of my work directly & by myself. No “team” has ever uploaded (or anything else under any circumstance) my stuff for me whatsoever (sic).”
Sky announced in 2015 that she was working on her second studio album, ‘Masochism’, but the project has been hit with repeated delays.
Writing in July 2018, she said: “This album was extremely difficult to make and I had to fight extremely hard for it. I pretty much paid for everything in every single way so it could see the light of day. It was kind of my miracle child. I am releasing a special remix of Night Time,My Time by someone very very very special & I’m going to sell limited editions of the vinyl too. Will post link once set up. I did spit a lot of blood for my previous album, I’ve had to spew my insides/internal organs in order make my upcoming album happen. That’s all I can say for right now (you will know more later). I’ve been making finishing touches on my first two singles….& the rest will unfold! Masochism (sic).”
Later that month, she regained control of her account and covered ‘Til Tuesday’s ‘Voices Carry’, which she streamed on her Soundcloud.

Halsey responds to Woodstock 50 backlash

OHMYGOSSIP — Halsey is “very honoured” to be playing at Woodstock 50 festival despite criticism over the lineup.
The 24-year-old star was confirmed earlier this week as part of the bill for the event – which is celebrating 50 years since the original festival – and she has responded to the split reaction to the full announcement after many fans claimed it was missing the spirit of Woodstock.
Taking to social media, the singer wrote on Twitter: “The Woodstock lineup seems to be a bit divisive, but I am very honoured to be included in a lineup of artists who all appear to be constantly influencing culture or representing social activism.
“Using their voices. That’s Woodstock to me. I’m honoured and I can’t wait.”
The music extravaganza will take place at Watkins Glen in New York between August 16 and 18, with the likes of Miley Cyrus, Jay Z, The Killers and Chance The Rapper confirmed to be taking to the stage.
To mark its 50th anniversary, some acts who played the first festival will also be making their return to the stage including Santana, whose performance of ‘Soul Sacrifice’ at the 1969 festival put them on the map.
And ‘Woodstock’s co-founder and co-producer Michael Lang is keen that this year’s festival is more than just a “concert”.
He shared to the New York Times: “Coachella’s got its thing, as does Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. But I think they’re all missing an opportunity to make a difference in the world. They’re all perfect places for social engagement and for fostering ideas, and I think that’s lost. We want this to be more than just coming to a concert. And hopefully a lot of the bands will become part of this effort to get people to stand up and make themselves heard, to get and out vote. And if they don’t have a candidate that represents their feelings, to find one – or to run themselves.”

Jennifer Metcalfe teases tears and tantrums for Hollyoaks double wedding

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Metcalfe says there will be “tears and tantrums” but only one happy ending in Hollyoaks’ double McQueen wedding.
The village is set for more chaos next week with Jennifer’s alter-ego Mercedes McQueen set to wed Sylver McQueen (David Tag), and her mother Myra McQueen (Nicole Barber-Lane) is to marry Sally St Claire (Annie Wallace), and the 36-year-old star says there will be plenty of double nuptial “drama”.
She said: “Myra’s version and Mercedes’ version is like chalk and cheese.
“There’s tears, there’s tantrums, there’s drama, and there’s a happy ending for one of the couple’s … and a not so happy one for the other.
“I just think it’s really beautifully shot, our director Sean Glynn did an amazing job and it looks perfect.”
Jennifer admits it can be a long day on set shooting soap weddings, but she always gets “giddy” when her character is set to walk down the aisle.
She said: “Wedding scenes are always long to film but I actually get a bit giddy when there are loads of people on set.
“You end up working with people that you don’t usually work with which is really nice, and when it’s all cut together you know that it’s going to be good.”
While it’s not yet known which couple will have the happy ending and which won’t, Myra’s day will not get off to a good start when she spots Stevie Scaramouch, who she shared a kiss with just last week.
During a conversation with her family, she plans to continue with her big day without telling Sally but doesn’t realise the teacher is in the next toilet cubicle hearing all about what she has been up to.

Kiernan Shipka dating Gary Oldman’s son?

OHMYGOSSIP — Kiernan Shipka is reportedly dating Gary Oldman’s son Charlie.
The 19-year-old actress – who is best known for portraying Sabrina Spellman in ‘The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ Netflix series – was spotted having dinner with the ‘Darkest Hour’ actor’s 20-year-old model offspring at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood on Wednesday night (20.03.19).
The pair were seen outside of the celebrity hotspot looking cosy as they walked arm-in-arm after a dinner date, which reportedly lasted for almost two hours.
Though it’s not known if the pair are in a relationship, an insider told E! News that they “looked happy” on their night out.
Kiernan’s date with Charlie comes after she admitted she is “too busy” to go on dates.
The former ‘Mad Men’ star admitted in November that her “number one priority” was her work , so she wasn’t actively seeking a romantic relationship at the time.
Speaking about her hectic work schedule, she said: “I’ll wrap on Saturday at 6am, so I’m pretty much useless on Saturday.
“And then Sunday, I have to get all my stuff done for Monday.
“Occasionally, the cast can drive me out for a fun time but work is my number one priority right now.”
Her work certainly hasn’t slowed down as the new series of ‘The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ is set to hit Netflix on April 5.
Kiernan was attracted to the part of Sabrina in the ‘Riverdale’ spin-off because of the show’s “feminist content”.
She explained: “I gravitate toward feminist content because that’s just who I am.
“But there was something so cool about this show being so feminist while still having this very separate fantastical element.
“It’s sort of set in this ‘timeless’ period where there aren’t many references to pop culture or what’s happening now or what happened in the past.
“But at the same [time], it’s related to what’s happening in many different ways and resonates on so many levels.”

Wendy Williams’ husband says she’s ‘doing well’ in sober house

OHMYGOSSIP — Wendy Williams’ husband Kevin Hunter says his wife is “doing well” with her addiction battle.
The talk show host revealed on Tuesday’s (19.03.19) episode of her eponymous programme that she is living in a sober house to help combat her addictions, and now her spouse has spoken out about how her whole family are supporting her and “doing work” to help others too.
He said: “We’re doing well as a family.
“We are moving forward with working on her sobriety and doing the work to help others, not just ourselves.”
Kevin accepts that it’s not going to happen overnight, adding that it’s a “family process”.
He continued to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “It is a family process.
“Anybody that has to deal with this knows this [is] a family process … and we are dealing with it and moving forward.”
Wendy – who took a break from her show in January after announcing she was experiencing complications from autoimmune condition Graves Disease – revealed on the programme she has been living in the special facility in New York.
Weeping on air, she admitted: “I have been living in a sober house…
“You know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in the past. I never went to a place to get treatment … there are people in your family, it might be you … I want you to know more of the story.”
After work on the programme and attending various classes and groups, the 54-year-old star returns to the facility every day.
She continued: “After I go to the Pilates and go to several meetings all around town in the tri-state area, I see my brothers and sisters caught up in their addiction and looking for help.
“They don’t know I’m Wendy. They don’t care I’m Wendy. It’s the brothers and sisters caught up in the struggle. It’s been really interesting, this ride.”
Before making her confession on the show, Wendy admitted only her husband had known the truth.
She said: “Only Kevin knows about this. Not my parents, nobody. Nobody knew because I look so glamorous out here.
“After I finish my appointments … I am driven by my 24-hour sober coach back to a home that I live in the tri-state with a bunch of smelly boys who have become my family.
“We talk and read and talk and read and then I get bored with them. Doors locked by 10 p.m., lights out by 10 p.m., so I go to my room and stare at the ceiling and fall asleep to come here and see you. So that is my truth.”

Priyanka Chopra loves sexting husband Nick Jonas

OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra enjoys “sexting” her husband Nick Jonas when they have some time apart.
The 36-year-old actress married her 26-year-old beau in December last year, and she revealed the loved-up couple like to share racy snaps with each other to keep the spark alive when their work keeps them away from each other.
Appearing on ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen’, she was asked by the host if she believed “in sexting or FaceTime sex during long stints apart”, and she immediately replied: “For sure.”
Priyanka also admitted she has helped her husband with his “manscaping”, but explained it was just the back of his head.
She said: “No – once, I did once. Just his fade, back there.”
The star was later grilled on the pair’s wedding, and she was asked to choose which of Nick’s famous brothers got them the best gift to celebrate their special day.
She added: “Well the good thing is, Kevin got us hundreds of bottles of wine, and Joe got us an amazing fridge which looks like a car to put it all in.”
Meanwhile, Priyanka previously revealed the key to a long-lasting relationship is “trust” and “respect”.
She said: “Truly this is what worked for me, he has to be someone who respects you. By that, I don’t mean makes coffee for you, not that. But someone who respects the hard work you put into your life.
“Who respects that if his work is important, so is yours. Or if he makes choices that are important to him, so is your opinion. That’s respect, and that’s incredible to have.”
The ‘Quantico’ star – who is an investor in dating app Bumble India – advised that women should never “settle for less than that”.
She concluded: “Then everything is so easy because you give each other credit for your intelligence, you give each other the benefit of the doubt because you trust each other. There’s so much that comes out of that. I think don’t settle for less than that.”

Faye Tozer was a ‘goody two shoes’ at school

OHMYGOSSIP — Faye Tozer was a “goody two shoes” at school.
The 43-year-old singer has admitted that she was fearful of what her mother would do if she misbehaved in class.
The Steps star is set to join the cast of the hit West End musical ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’ this May, starring as strict teacher Miss Hedge.
Speaking about her forthcoming gig at the Apollo theatre to Baz Bamigboye’s column in the Daily Mail newspaper, the ‘Tragedy’ singer said her role is a “gorgeous part” and hailed the production as “groundbreaking”.
The play is directed by Jonathan Butterell and choreographed by Kate Prince, and Faye – who along with her Steps bandmates came up with their routines – added that the dance moves were “right up her street”.
The ‘One For Sorrow’ hitmaker is taking over from Hayley Tamaddon to join existing cast members, including Layton Williams (Jamie) and Shane Richie (Hugo).
Faye’s casting comes after her stint on 2018’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and the star previously revealed that despite her busy schedule, she and her husband Michael Smith – with whom she has nine-year-old son Benjamin – make it work as when they see each other, they spend all their time “cosied up on the sofa”.
She said: “It’s tough being away from home. Michael works away as well, but it works and we’re together we spend all our time with each other cosied up on the sofa watching TV or even at a hotel. ”
Faye added that her partner had to “hold the fort” during her time on the BBC One ballroom and Latin show, and planned to take him on holiday to reward him.
She said: “‘Strictly’ was a tough job and Michael had to hold the fort at home. I’m going to treat him to a nice holiday this year to say thank you.”

Sam Strike joins The Dark Tower

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Strike has signed up to ‘Dark Tower’.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actor – who rose to fame when he landed the role as Danny Dyer’s on-screen son Johnny Carter on the BBC One soap in 2013 – is to portray Roland Deschain/ the Gunslinger in the Amazon adaptation of Stephen King’s popular novel.
Sam appeared the confirm the news by posting a quote from the book on his Twitter account, which read: “The Man in Black fled across the desert. And the Gunslinger followed…”
Jasper Paakkonen is said to have been cast as The Man in Black, who is also known as Randall Flagg and Walter O’Dim.
Glen Mazzara will be the showrunner for the series, and he “could not be more excited” to be working on the project.
He said: “I’ve been a Stephen King fan for decades, and the opportunity to adapt ‘The Dark Tower’ as a TV series is a great honour.

“I could not be more excited to tell this story.”
Since departing ‘EastEnders’, Sam has starred in ‘Silent Witness’, ‘Mindhunter’ and most recently in US horror sci-fi show ‘Nightflyers’, which is based on the novella by ‘Game of Thrones’ author George R. R. Martin.

Barbra Streisand believes Michael Jackson’s Leaving Neverland accusers

OHMYGOSSIP — Barbra Streisand believes Michael Jackson’s accusers but said she partly blames their parents.
The 76-year-old star – who once turned down an offer to collaborate with the late singer – has opened up on the HBO documentary ‘Leaving Neverland’ in which James Safechuck and Wade Robson claim that Michael sexually abused both of them after befriending them when they were children.
Speaking to The Times, she said: “His sexual needs were his sexual needs, coming from whatever childhood he has or whatever DNA he has.
“You can say “molested”, but those children, as you heard say [the grown-up Robson and Safechuck], they were thrilled to be there. They both married and they both have children, so it didn’t kill them.
“It’s a combination of feelings. I feel bad for the children. I feel bad for him. I blame, I guess, the parents, who would allow their children to sleep with him. Why would Michael need these little children dressed like him and in the shoes and the dancing and the hats?”
Barbra’s comments come after the ‘Billie Jean’ hitmaker’s daughter Paris Jackson insisted it’s not her “role” to publicly defend her late father from James and Wade’s shocking accusations.
The 20-year-old actress took to Twitter to explain why she hasn’t commented on ‘Leaving Neverland’.
Responding to a fan on the micro-blogging site, she wrote: “There’s nothing i can say that hasn’t already been said in regards to defense.
“Taj [Jackson] is doing a perfect job on his own. and i support him. but that’s not my role. i’m just tryna get everyone to chill out and go with the flow, be mellow and think about the bigger picture. that’s me. (sic)”
While Paris praised her cousin Taj Jackson, 45, for speaking out in defence of his uncle and explained her own silence on the issue, she did tell another follower that she shares her father’s “moral compass”.
She tweeted: “I have the same moral compass as my father, but not the level of patience. i’ll fight for love n peace in the same way, but i am more aggressively driven. i don’t sit by idly when i see injustices happen, especially when they’re directed towards me or my family. f**k that noise (sic)”
In Dan Reed’s ‘Leaving Neverland’ documentary, Wade – who testified under oath in Michael’s 2005 child sex abuse trial that the musician never abused him – claims that he was molested by the singer from the age of seven until 14.
James – who previously testified on Michael’s behalf when he was accused of sexual abuse in 1993 – claimed he was abused from the age of 10 until he reached puberty.
The Michael Jackson estate has hit back at the allegations branding both accusers “perjurers” and “admitted liars”.

Richard E Grant says some stars looked like wax works at Oscars

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard E Grant says some Hollywood stars looked like Madame Tussaud’s wax work models at the Oscars.
The 61-year-old actor admitted he was so starstruck at the prestigious ceremony last month and couldn’t help but take selfies with some of his favourite stars, even if some of their cosmetic enhancements meant they looked less lifelike.
Speaking at an Advertising Week Europe event in London, he laughed: “It’s an extraordinary thing, being at the actual Oscars is like being at Madame Tussaud’s live.”
“Except some people do literally look like waxworks, from whichever angle you look. Seeing all these people that you’ve admired or newly admire all in one room… was a real pinch yourself thing.”
Richard’s fanboy antics at the ceremony – where he was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor prize – was described by one critic as a “wily crocodile-eyed old veteran trying to secure more last minute votes”.
However, the star – who attended the ceremony with his daughter Olivia – insisted it was actually closer to “a six year old trapped in a 61-year-old body”.
He explained: “I had psychoanalysis when I was 41. He said I was emotionally stuck at 17 years old. So long as you are not hurting or murdering anyone, stay in that zone.”
Although the ‘Can You Forgive Me?’ actor missed out on an award at the ceremony, he was overjoyed to meet his childhood hero Barbra Streisand.
In a series of tweets after the Academy Awards, he wrote: “Being Oscar nominated was pretty amazing, but meeting with @barbrastreisand and having a proper conversation was an absolute astonishment. 40 carat Gold … Suitably blurry-eyed selfie with @BarbraStreisand who was EVERYTHING I’d hoped, expected & dreamt she’d be. QUEEN BEE (sic)”
Richard has been a fan of Barbra since he was 14-years-old, when he penned a sweet letter to the famous singer.
