Kate Beckinsale deletes all her Instagram posts

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Beckinsale has deleted all her Instagram posts.
The 45-year-old actress mysteriously removed every picture from her social media account on Friday (22.03.19) with no warning or reason behind her decision.
Although her posts are gone, the account hasn’t been deleted as all Instagram users, including her 2.8 million followers, are still able to access the page, and the blank account still shows she is following 356 people.
Speculation about the deleted posts has suggested Kate’s move may have come after her romance with ‘Saturday Night Live’ star Pete Davidson – who was previously engaged to Ariana Grande – has left her battling criticism from fans of the ‘Thank U, Next’ singer.
However, the new couple have not been shy about showing off their affection in public, and Pete recently revealed the pair aren’t “bothered” about the criticism they receive, particularly concerning their age gap.
He said: “Apparently people have a crazy fascination with our age difference. It doesn’t really bother us, but then again I’m new to this. So if you have questions about a relationship with a big age difference, just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, Jason Statham, Michael Douglas, Richard Gere, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Disick, Dane Cook, Derek Jeter, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee, Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn and whoever the president of France is. Mel Gibson, Billy Joel, Mick Jagger, Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Murphy, Kelsey Grammer. Larry King, Larry King, Larry King, Rod Stewart and Donald Trump.”
Last month, it was reported that Kate, 45, and Pete, 25, were planning to go on holiday together, so they could “get to know each other better”.
A source said at the time: “They’re planning a holiday to get away from the cameras and get to know each other better. It’ll be them with a group of friends, somewhere beachy like Bali or Hawaii. They want to take the pressure off and see where the relationship will go.”

Kristen Bell ‘happy’ Dax Shepard is still sober

OHMYGOSSIP — Kristen Bell is “extraordinarily happy” that her husband Dax Shepard has continued to stay sober.
The ‘CHiPs’ star has been sober for a whopping 14 years, and his wife Kristen always makes sure to mark his “sober birthday” by “spoiling the hell” out of her spouse, because she’s so proud of him for staying on the right track.
Dax, 44, said: “[Kristen] spoils the hell out of me. The nicest presents she’s gotten me are always on my sober birthday. In fact, my real birthday … still haven’t gotten a present!”
To which 38-year-old Kristen – who has daughters Lincoln, five, and Delta, four, with Dax – added: “I’m very happy he was born so I celebrate his birthday, but I’m extraordinarily [happy] that he has stayed sober because that’s what allows me to have him in my life as a husband and as a father.”
The ‘Frozen’ actress says she understands “how my effort” Dax puts in to his sobriety, so doesn’t take it for granted and appreciates every day that the actor stays committed.
She said: “I know how much effort has to be put into staying sober. I don’t mean that to be like, I come home and see him shaking and looking at a whiskey ad or something, [but] there are different elements you have to deal with when you’re staying sober. It’s a ton of mental control and evolution. It’s just impressive for someone to have been that mindful about something.”
Although, Dax has joked he’s tired of his wife “stealing his thunder” when it comes to his sober milestones, as she always makes headlines for the adorable letters she writes him when the day rolls around.
Speaking in a joint interview with People magazine, he quipped: “I scrape together 14 years of sobriety, and she writes a little flowery thank you. Now there’s headlines all over the country about Kristen’s accomplishment of writing this letter. I’m like, ‘Just like you to steal my thunder!’ I’m the one that went to 10,000 AA meetings. At no point was the message of any of the stories like, ‘Good job, Dax.’ It was like, ‘Can you imagine being loved by a woman like Kristen Bell?'”

Sarah Hyland back in hospital

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Hyland is back in hospital amid her ongoing health issues.
The ‘Modern Family’ star recently revealed she had to undergo a second kidney transplant after her first one – which was donated by her father – failed, and this week she revealed things aren’t getting much better as she’s still battling a host of health problems.
On her Instagram Story, she revealed she was at the hospital when she posted a picture of herself with a face mask on, and reminded her followers to “always bring face masks and a silk pillow to the hospital”.
The 28-year-old actress didn’t give a reason for her hospital trip, but did say she was battling a fever, and had previously shared she had pink eye and a viral respiratory infection.
Another post read: “When you stressed from having pink eye and a viral respiratory infection so yo #endo decides to kick down the door and say HELLO (sic)”
Sarah’s health problems come after she recently said she was left feeling suicidal when her kidney transplant failed, as she felt as though she was letting down her family, particularly her father who had given up his own kidney to save her life.
The actress – whose second transplant was donated by her young brother – said: “I would write letters in my head to loved ones of why I did it and my reasoning behind it, how it was nobody’s fault. I didn’t want to write it down on paper because I didn’t want anybody to find it. That’s how serious I was … It ended up being myself that got me out of that. I had to do it on my own. I told myself I had to do it on my own.”

Kate Wright throws birthday party for step-daughter Tia

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Wright has thrown her step-daughter Tia a pink-themed birthday party.
The former reality star has been romancing soccer star Rio Ferdinand for two years and has embraced her step-mother duties, and on Friday (22.03.19) she threw a lavish birthday party for seven-year-old Tia, whom Rio had with his late wife Rebecca Ellison.
The party was complete with pink decorations – including hundreds of pink balloons, pink roses, and a pink telephone box – three towers of cupcakes, and stacks of Domino’s pizza.
In a post on Instagram which showed off the decorations, Kate wrote: What a party Thank you so much to the amazing Brenda from @neribaeventstyling (first pik) for making our little girls dreams come true! It was more than we could wish for. Two happy princesses dancing all night. Thank you so much (sic)”
Another snap, which showed the boxes of pizza, was captioned: When I cheat …. I don’t do it in halves pizza party @dominos_uk (sic)”
Kate, 28, got engaged to 40-year-old Rio in November, and it has been said Tia and her brothers – Lorenz, 10, and Tate, eight – adore the former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star.
The children even want the couple to give them a new baby brother or sister.
Kate said: “The kids would like a little brother or sister; they say ‘I dreamt that you were pregnant.’ But right now we’re just happy with our little unit.”
Rio’s wife Rebecca Ellison was just 34 when she died from breast cancer in May 2015 and he started dating Kate in 2017, who previously said she was hugely impressed with how he has coped since Rebecca’s passing.
She said: “The way Rio’s coped and brought up his children is amazing. Without Rebecca being there, he had to take on a softer role. His children need to see love, and if you’re a hard man you can’t show that.”

Barbra Streisand clarifies Michael Jackson comments

OHMYGOSSIP — Barbra Streisand insists there is “no situation where it is OK for children to be taken advantage of”, following her comments in regards to the allegations against Michael Jackson.
The 76-year-old star came under fire this week after she made comments in regard to James Safechuck and Wade Robson’s allegations of sexual abuse against Michael Jackson – which have been revealed in new HBO documentary ‘Leaving Neverland’ – whom they claim sexually abused both of them after befriending them when they were children.
Barbra said the parents of the boys were partly to blame for the alleged incidents and said the abuse “didn’t kill them”.
And now, she has clarified her comments and insisted James and Wade’s allegations were “painful to hear”, but still blamed their parents for being “seduced by fame and fantasy”.
In a statement to Variety, she said: “To be crystal clear, there is no situation or circumstance where it is OK for the innocence of children to be taken advantage of by anyone. The stories these two young men shared were painful to hear, and I feel nothing but sympathy for them. The single most important role of being a parent is to protect their children. It’s clear that the parents of the two young men were also victimised and seduced by fame and fantasy.”
Barbra had originally seemed to suggest that the children were not “molested” by the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker, because they were “thrilled to be there” with him.
She said: “His sexual needs were his sexual needs, coming from whatever childhood he has or whatever DNA he has.
“You can say ‘molested’, but those children, as you heard say [the grown-up Robson and Safechuck], they were thrilled to be there. They both married and they both have children, so it didn’t kill them.
“It’s a combination of feelings. I feel bad for the children. I feel bad for him. I blame, I guess, the parents, who would allow their children to sleep with him. Why would Michael need these little children dressed like him and in the shoes and the dancing and the hats?”
In Dan Reed’s ‘Leaving Neverland’ documentary, Wade – who testified under oath in Michael’s 2005 child sex abuse trial that the musician never abused him – claims that he was molested by the singer from the age of seven until 14.
James – who previously testified on Michael’s behalf when he was accused of sexual abuse in 1993 – claimed he was abused from the age of 10 until he reached puberty.
The Michael Jackson estate has hit back at the allegations branding both accusers “perjurers” and “admitted liars”.

Melody Thornton to freeze eggs?

OHMYGOSSIP — Melody Thornton is considering freezing her eggs.
The 34-year-old star is currently single and doesn’t see anything wrong with exploring her options to preserve her fertility for longer.
Asked if she wants to have children, she said: “I really would. But I have to find the right guy.
“I’d be up for freezing my eggs if need be. I know it’s a controversial topic.
“Some people say if you have to freeze your eggs, maybe you’re not supposed to have children.
“But if there was a refrigerator that kept your chicken good for six days instead of four, why not go for it?”
When it comes to finding love, the former Pussycat Dolls singer is looking for a “wild horse” who gives her the space to be “creative”.
She said: “I would like to meet a really nice guy who respects himself.
“The challenge I run into is that I fight for my freedom – I need space to be creative.
“Often in relationships I’m treated like a possession.
“I can’t do this, I can’t do that, or I can’t take a job. I don’t need that!
“I need a wild horse. Someone who lets me run free too.”
And Melody wants to date someone who works within the entertainment industry, but isn’t hugely famous.
She told new! Magazine: “It would be someone who is in the industry and someone who understands it.
“Someone who is creative but isn’t the main talent or the principal on the bill.
“And that’s not because I want the spotlight on me – it’s because I find women in the industry very different to male talent.
“Men in the spotlight need a lot of ego stroking, whereas women don’t.
“I tend to click with other creative people – guys who create stuff, you know, directors, producers, people like that.”

Sam Mendes wants to work in the theatre in his 80s

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Mendes can imagine himself giving up making movies so he can direct plays “into his 80s”.
The 53-year-old British director has an enormous passion for the theatre and although he still very much loves to take “vacations” on movies he “always returns” to stage productions and he can imagine himself stepping away from Hollywood sooner rather than later.
Speaking on the Variety Stagecraft podcast, he said: “I’m a theatre person really, that’s how I think of myself. I take vacations in the movies and they’re long and extremely hard working vacations but never the less that’s how they feel. Movies for me are where I want to go when I feel a little trapped or a little claustrophobic in the theatre. Theatre is where I tend to want to go when I feel a little exhausted and over travelled in movies and I’m lucky enough to go back and forth – but for me theatre is where I always return to.
“I can imagine myself directing plays into my 80s, I can’t always imagine myself directing movies if I last that long.”
Although he loves the theatre, Mendes – who helmed the last two James Bond movies, ‘Skyfall’ and ‘Spectre’ – admits musicals have not really appealed to him over the years but he did love working on ‘Cabaret’ – which he helmed in 1993 in London’s West End and again on the show’s third Broadway revival in 2014 – and it is one of the “few productions” he misses working on.
He said: “I don’t think there are that many that haven’t been done pretty damn recently or I’ve already done them and that hasn’t always been my happy space. I loved ‘Cabaret’, that was a great experience for me and it’s one of the few productions that I still miss.”

Barbra Streisand apologises again

OHMYGOSSIP — Barbra Streisand is “profoundly sorry” for “dismissing the trauma” of James Safechuck and Wade Robson.
The 76-year-old singer caused controversy after she claimed the abuse the two men allegedly suffered at the hands of the late Michael Jackson – which they spoke about in documentary ‘Leaving Neverland’ – when they were children “didn’t kill them” and suggested their parents were partly to blame, but she’s now expressed her “deep remorse” at not “choosing [her] words more carefully.”
She said in a statement posted to her website: “I am profoundly sorry for any pain or misunderstanding I caused by not choosing my words more carefully about Michael Jackson and his victims, because the words as printed do not reflect my true feelings.
“I didn’t mean to dismiss the trauma these boys experienced in any way. Like all survivors of sexual assault, they will have to carry this for the rest of their lives. I feel deep remorse and I hope that James and Wade know that I truly respect and admire them for speaking their truth.”
Her statement came shortly after she spoke to Variety to clarify her comments, insisting there is “no situation where it is OK for children to be taken advantage of”, but still blamed Wade and James’ parents for being “seduced by fame and fantasy”.
She said: “To be crystal clear, there is no situation or circumstance where it is OK for the innocence of children to be taken advantage of by anyone. Dani Dyer won’t make another show with Jack Fincham

OHMYGOSSIP — Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham are “definitely” not making another reality show together.
The couple got together on ‘Love Island’ last year and after winning the programme, landed their own spin-off, ‘Jack and Dani: Life After Love Island’, but following a brief split in December, they now want to keep their romance “personal”.
Dani said: “We’re now trying to keep things personal, because that’s how things last. We’re definitely not doing another show.
“We’d prefer to enjoy each other privately, rather than parading it constantly.
“We were still learning about each other – we still are. We moved in, we did a show together and it was constant. It didn’t really give us time to bond on our own. I didn’t like it when we were arguing – with relationships, you want to bring out the best in each other and we were bringing out the worst. So you just end up being miserable around each other.”
And the 23-year-old star revealed she and Jack are no longer living together in order to “slowly” rebuild their romance.
She told Fabulous magazine: “Jack didn’t want to live in Essex and I didn’t want to live in south London so we thought we’d both get our own places and live between them.
“We’re building [the relationship] back up slowly. We’d both moved out of our areas and to Wapping together, where we had none of our home comforts.
“It’s nice to have my own company sometimes. I can watch what I want – when Jack’s there, he puts all these bird programmes on. When we buy a house, then we can decide where to live, but for the time being we’ve got to grow.”
Dani admitted her relationship with the former stationery salesman moved too quickly because of their stint on ‘Love Island’.
She said: “It was really mad. My nan was like: ‘You’ve only been together six months!’ That’s not normal for a relationship.”

Lesley Joseph upset by guff gaffe

OHMYGOSSIP — Lesley Joseph was unimpressed when footage of her breaking wind was included in a new documentary.
The ‘Birds of a Feather’ star was horrified to discover a moment when she parped in front of her fellow female celebrities was featured in the first episode of ‘Pilgrimage: The Road to Rome’, especially because she had no idea until a preview episode was screened in London a few days ago.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “Lesley can’t believe bosses included that scene.
“She thought they’d be a bit more gracious, seeing as the show was meant to be about spirituality. She’s joked she’ll never work again.”
In the clip, Lesley loudly let rip then wafted the air in the room she was sharing with Mehreen Baig, Dana Scallon, and Katy Brand.
Also taking part in the show are male stars Les Dennis, Brendan Cole, Stephen K. Amos and Greg Rutherford.
The show sees the celebrities abandoning their luxurious lives to embark on the later stages of the Via Francigena – the route that connected Canterbury to Rome in ancient times but has been made popular by modern travellers – and culminates in them meeting with Pope Francis when they make it to the Italian capital.
A show source previously said: “It was unprecedented access and the ‘pilgrims’ were understandably excited.
“It was really emotional. There were lots of tears — as viewers will find out.”
The upcoming show is similar to a BBC Two series ‘Pilgrimage: The Road to Santiago’ which followed a group of celebrities – including Ed Byrne, Debbie McGee and Heather Small – on a pilgrimage across Northern Spain to Santiago.
The group had only two weeks to follow the ancient 780km pilgrimage and reach the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela and the shrine of St James.
Around 1,200 pilgrims take the route to Rome every year, and numbers are much lower than the Santiago journey because of a lack of infrastructure and accommodation.
The three-part series is due on air later this year.

Taraji P. Henson attracted to What Men Want’s universal theme

OHMYGOSSIP — Taraji P. Henson signed up for ‘What Men Want’ because it felt like a very “poignant” movie.
The 48-year-old actress plays sports agent Ali Davis, who, after missing out on promotion in favour of her male colleagues, visits a psychic to learn more about the innermost thoughts of men, and she was attracted to the universal theme.
She said: “[Workplace sexism] is a universal thing all women have experience of.
“That’s what made me sign up to the film, it’s so poignant.”
While Taraji still “fights” to be paid what she deserves, it isn’t a discussion she keeps hidden.
She added: “I’m still fighting but it’s not this dirty little secret any more.
“I’m like, ‘Give me my money.’ I’ve proven that I’m bankable but the fight isn’t over.
“It’s like, ‘Oh what you do is cute’ when actually, I bring in more money than you ever could.
“But because I’m a woman, you’re going to cap me?”
The ‘Empire’ actress is particularly proud that her own star status creates opportunities for other people and she’s aware of the “responsibility” she has.
She told Marie Claire Magazine: “It feels good not to have to audition and to be green-lighting a movie.
“But what fulfils my heart is when I walk on set and see people working and I’m the one paying their rent.
“People talk about wanting to be a superstar, well, that comes with responsibility, baby.
“You can’t be out there doing crazy things.
“Lindsay Lohan is a prime example. Every time she got into trouble, my heart was hurting.”

Ben Whishaw doesn’t know much about next James Bond movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Whishaw thinks James Bond bosses are still trying to “figure out” the storyline to the next movie.
The 38-year-old actor will soon reprise his role as Q for a third time in the upcoming 25th installment of the spy saga but claims he knows very little about the film beyond the fact he’ll share a scene with some feline friends.
He said: “I think they’re probably trying to figure out what to do with the storyline.
“At least I know that my character is the same. Someone did tell me there might be a scene with Q’s cats.”
Earlier this year, Ben won both a Golden Globe and a Critics’ Choice Award for his work with Hugh Grant on ‘A Very English Scandal’ but he doesn’t think it’ll mean he’ll be spending more time in Hollywood as he doesn’t feel it is his “world” there.
Asked if he’ll spend more time there, he told Sunday Times magazine: “No idea. I don’t feel it’s my world. I just sort of dropped in and it was a lovely thing. I would like to drop in more often. Maybe it opens doors. I guess we’ll see.”
The ‘Paddington’ actor admitted he still gets “shy” around new people “especially when they’re famous” and was left tongue-tied when he worked with Meryl Streep on ‘Mary Poppins Returns’.
He said: “I love people, but I’m just shy of meeting new people, especially when they’re famous…
“I’m so completely left speechless when I’m in the same room as [Meryl]. Do you never feel that speechlessness come on you?
“Even though she seemed to be the nicest person, I was very timid and shy around her.”

Colin Farrell: Tim Burton is very magical

OHMYGOSSIP — Colin Farrell thinks Tim Burton is a “very magical” filmmaker.
The 42-year-old actor spent a lot of his breaks filming ‘Dumbo’ sitting on the set and watching his director in action because he was so “engaged” with the filmmaking process.
Colin said: “Tim Burton is lovely. I loved working with him, I really did.
“I could watch him on a film set all day.
“I would often sit by Craft Services eating snacks and watch him work on the set, because he’s really engaged with the whole process of shooting a film.
“The way he moves is frenetic. He is a very magical dude.”
The ‘In Bruges’ star had wanted to work with Tim “for years” and was particularly excited when he heard about his live-action take on ‘Dumbo’, so sent an email to the director and was delighted to land an audition, and subsequently the part of amputee circus performer-turned-soldier Holt Farrier.
He told SciFiNow Magazine: “I’d wanted to work with Tim for years, so when I heard that he was going to direct ‘Dumbo’, I sent him an email.
“I have been a fan of all of his work and I have vocalised my love for his movies many times in the past.
“To hear that he was doing something that was as quintessentially as wondrous as ‘Dumbo’ was a great revelation to me.
“I had met Tim before, years ago, but we talked soon after I sent him that email and I was lucky enough to get flown to London and get on the set, which was extraordinary.”

Kevin Feige offers Captain Marvel sequel hints

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Feige has teased ‘Captain Marvel’ sequels could take place in the past.
The Marvel Studios boss admitted introducing alien shape-shifters the Skrulls in the movie was part of laying groundwork for their war with the Kree and so future movies could take place in the timeline between the events depicted in the latest movie and those in 2008’s ‘Iron Man’.
Asked why the Kree/Skrull war had been the backdrop to introducing Carol Danvers/ Captain Marvel – who is played by Brie Larson – Kevin said: “We wanted to give her her own corner of the universe, her own mythology. While we’re not specific about this in the movie, there’s potential to understand where has she been this whole time? Why haven’t we seen her yet? The answer is revealed and hinted at in this movie as she was dealing with a colossal, universal conflict in another section of the MCU…
“I mean, anything we haven’t done, anything from the books that we haven’t yet done in film is always on the table.”
Kevin thinks part of the “fun” of the MCU is the “gap” in time between stories and he’s looking forward to the future, when fans will watch the movies in chronological order, rather than release order.
He told Screen Rant: “I think the fun part about seeing this portion of the MCU is that gap. We’ve heard about some of it and ‘Winter Soldier’. The Robert Redford character talks about some timelines and we’ve mentioned some of those adventures.
“he potential is there and I just love the notion of someday people watching the Marvel Studios Films for the first time and maybe they’ll, you know, sometimes I like how people debate online, what’s the best order to watch them in. Is it release order? Is it chronologically, well, if they watch this movie before they watch ‘Iron Man’, when Nick Fury comes out in the tag and says, you’re not the only superhero in the world. They’ll go, no, he’s talking about her.”
