I’m A Celerity bosses ‘scrap secret campmate’

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ bosses have reportedly axed plans for a second secret camp mate.
It is said that after spending a reported £600,000 to sign former ‘Deal or No Deal’ host Noel Edmonds to the show as the 11th campmate, the decision was made to cut the total number of contestants from 12 to 11 for the first time in 11 years.
An ITV insider told The Sun newspaper: “Bosses for ‘I’m A Celebrity’ spent so much on signing Noel for the show that there’s only 11 contestants planned this year.
“They have really pushed the boat out and splashed the cash more than ever before – meaning a change to the format had to be made.
“Harry Redknapp and Noel cost over £1 million between the two of them and they’ve spent good money on the likes of Nick Knowles and Rita Simons too.”
The report follows claims that the 69-year-old presenter – who has hosted shows including ‘Top of the Pops’, ‘Multi-Coloured Swap Shop’ and ‘Noel’s House Party’ – has insisted he will walk away from TV if he is crowned King of the Jungle on the reality TV show.
A source claimed that Noel has been overheard saying: “I said in my pre-interview that if the nation votes me King of the Jungle I will leave television for good.
“A wonderful inducement for the nation to have peace and tranquility at last.”
Noel will join former ‘Torchwood’ actor John Barrowman, football manager Harry Redknapp, ‘Coronation Street’ star Sair Khan, former ‘EastEnders’ star Rita Simons, ex-‘X Factor’ wannabe Fleur East, The Vamps guitarist James McVey, TV presenter Nick Knowles, ‘Hollyoaks’ actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer, ‘The Chase’ quiz queen Anne Hegerty, and ‘Inbetweeners’ actress Emily Atack in the jungle.

John Barrowman warned not to strip on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

OHMYGOSSIP — John Barrowman has been warned against dropping his trousers in front of the other campmates on ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!’.
The 51-year-old actor is known for his wild ways, but has reportedly been told he’s not to flash his genitals at his fellow campmates whilst he appears on the ITV celebrity survival show, as he’s been placed on a “flashing ban”.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “John has promised he’ll be on his best behaviour, and will be on a self-imposed flashing ban. But fully intends to show everything in the showers.
“John has raised eyebrows in the past by going a bit far with his party antics.
“He’s certainly not shy when it comes to his body, and tends to be quite impulsive and act in the moment which they hope could make him a favourite with viewers.
“But equally they’re worried he might get carried away especially with the jungle boredom and sharing the camp with a few handsome men.”
The ban comes after the former ‘Torchwood’ star apologised for exposing himself on a live BBC Radio 1 show in 2008.
During the incident, he pulled down his trousers after being goaded into it by presenters Nick Grimshaw, 34, and Annie Mac, 40, and after just one complaint was made, the BBC also apologised and said he’d “overstepped the mark”.
In his apology at the time, the ‘Arrow’ star said: “I apologise for any offence I have caused. I was joining in the light-hearted and fun banter of the show and went too far. I was wrong to do this and it will never happen again. I really appreciate the great support I have received from the BBC over the last few years and would never intentionally do anything to undermine the integrity of the corporation.”

In the new ‘Hollyoaks’ Winter Trailer, released today (19.11.18), Jonny tells Ste: “I know you’re angry, I’ve got your back.”
Ste then says: “Those Maalik deserve everything they get.”
And Jonny adds: “I’m on your side.”
Elsewhere in the trailer, serial killer Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) looks set to kill again, just weeks after she murdered Russ Owen (Stuart Manning), and it was revealed she was responsible for the deaths of Carl Costello (Paul Opacic) and Glenn Donovan (Bob Cryer),
In the clip, she is seen standing over a lifeless body saying: “Sorry, bad dads don’t get second chances.”

There will be further infidelity fireworks in the village when Leela Lomax (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) proposes to her boyfriend Louis Loveday (Karl Collins), despite being unaware he could be set to become a bigamist because he is already married to his ex-wife Simone’s (Jacqueline Boatswain) sister Martine Deveraux (Kelle Bryan).
To make matters worse, he’s been sleeping with Simone, and could end up in prison if he marries Leela.

Marvin and Rochelle Humes land Saturday night music quiz show

OHMYGOSSIP — Marvin and Rochelle Humes are set to host a new Saturday night music quiz show.
The former JLS band member and Saturdays star have landed their first “stand-alone show” together, ‘Playlisters’ on BBC One, and can’t wait to put the contestants’ music knowledge to the test as it’s something they already do at home.
They commented: “It’s our first stand-alone show together and the fact it’s a format based on our love of music makes it all the more rewarding.
“We frequently put each other’s knowledge to the test at home, so we cannot wait to see how the contestants get on.”
The new show is being dubbed a modern day ‘Name That Tune’ – which ran between 1976 and 1998, and was presented by Tom O’Connor, Lionel Blair and Jools Holland over the years – and will feature six episodes.
Each week, three couples will battle it out to win £10,000 by listening to chart hits and golden oldies and naming the title and artist of each song correctly.
BBC bosses are thrilled to have the Capital DJ and Heart Saturday drivetime show host on board, as they believe their “deeply competitive” nature will be a huge hit with viewers.
The broadcaster’s entertainment boss, Kate Phillips, said: “I can’t think of a better way to kick off Saturday nights. “Hosted by the deeply competitive Rochelle and Marvin Humes, it’ll have everyone at home singing along.”
Marvin, 33, and Rochelle, 29, often step in to co-host ITV’s ‘This Morning’ in the absence of Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes and Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
The couple – who tied the knot in 2012, and have Alaia-Mai, five, and 19-month-old Valentina Raine together – have a wealth of pop knowledge between them.
Marvin hosts The Official Vodafone Big Top 40 chart show and Rochelle is one fifth of the girl group The Saturdays – who sold over eight million records and have been on hiatus since 2014 – and hits with ‘What About Us’ and ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’.

Audrina Patridge gets primary custody of her daughter for now

OHMYGOSSIP — Audrina Patridge is to get primary custody of her daughter.
The ‘Hills’ star has been awarded primary custody of her and her ex-husband Corey Bohan’s two-year-old daughter Kirra Max for the time being whilst the pair work out other issues through a mediator, The Blast reports.
The pair are said to be still working out a final custody schedule as well as the amount of child support to be paid. And the former couple have been ordered to stay more than 100 yards from each other at all times “except for the brief and peaceful exchange of the parties’ daughter, Kirra Max Patridge Bohan”.
Audrina and Corey – who reached a divorce settlement earlier this month – are likely to battle it out in court again after Corey filed documents to legally prevent Audrina from featuring their daughter on the upcoming reboot of MTV reality series ‘The Hills’.
Corey requested that “neither party allow the minor child to be filmed or to appear in any reality television production without the express, written consent of the other parent” and “any prior consent for the minor child to appear on ‘The Hills’ reboot to be revoked and proof of revocation to be provided”. He also requested “a specific order restraining Audrina from allowing Kirra to appear on any reality television program including, without limitation, ‘The Hills’ without my prior written consent”.
Corey had previously wrote on his private Instagram account: “I refuse to think it’s ok for our 2yr old daughter Kirra Bohan to be shown & exploited on Reality TV. Not just my child by anyone’s for that matter. This is about our daughter Kirra Bohan (sic)”

Rebel Wilson joins Cats movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Rebel Wilson has joined the cast of ‘Cats’.
The ‘Bridesmaids’ actress will portray the lazy old Gumbie feline Jennyanydots in the upcoming big screen adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s beloved musical, which is based on T.S. Eliot’s ‘Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats’ poetry collection.
The 38-year-old Australian actress joins the legendary Sir Ian McKellen (Gus the Theatre Cat) and Dame Judi Dench in the all-star cast.
Dench – who was due play Grizabella in the original West End production in 1981, until she was forced to withdraw through injury – takes on the role of Old Deuteronomy.
Whilst Idris Elba looks set to play villain feline Macavity in the movie, and his alter ego and his minions capture Deuteronomy in the musical.
Jennifer Hudson, James Corden and Taylor Swift are also set to appear in the motion picture, which will be produced by Hooper, Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Debra Hayward, while Steven Spielberg will be one of the executive producers of the project.
‘Lord of the Rings’ star McKellen recently admitted he wants to find his “inner pussy” for his role in ‘Cats’.
The 79-year-old veteran actor joked he will embrace his “moggyiness” for his performance.
He cheekily quipped: “I’m looking for the inner pussy – the ‘moggyiness’ that’s within us all…
“I’ve always wanted to be in a musical on stage so rather late in the day this is like a dream come true.”
Meanwhile, Wilson previously revealed she has three movies coming out in 2019.
She tweeted: “Ooooo. Been working so hard behind the scenes this year. Can’t wait for you guys to see the 3 movies I’m in next year. (sic)”

Jude Law: The world is ready for gay Dumbledore

OHMYGOSSIP — Jude Law thinks “the world is ready” to see Albus Dumbledore as a gay icon.
The 45-year-old actor stars as a young version of the wizard made famous in the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise in the new movie ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’, and has said he believes fans of the magical franchise are ready to see the Hogwarts headmaster embrace his sexuality.
He said: “The world is ready [for an openly gay Dumbledore], and if it isn’t, it bloody well should be.”
Dumbledore’s sexuality was never explored in J.K. Rowling’s ‘Harry Potter’ book series as she only made the revelation that he was gay in 2007, and was also never added to the main ‘Harry Potter’ movies.
But in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ spin-off saga, his sexuality is explicitly portrayed, and whilst Jude can’t divulge details on what’s in the film, he insists that it doesn’t “define” who Dumbledore is.
Speaking to the New York Times, Jude added: “Put it this way: This film is not about his homosexuality, nor does his sexuality define him. But that relationship is certainly a defining element of who he is and what he’s about. I also don’t think he’s someone who has given his heart or his soul to many people. The aftermath of their relationship left him reeling, and he’s packed his heart in ice, to be honest, and no one’s quite thawed it.”
Meanwhile, Jude recently revealed he received a huge confidence boost on the set of the new movie, after author J.K. Rowling told him she was pleased with his casting.
He said: “When the boss says, ‘I like you,’ it gives you a little bit of comfort. You can’t help but step into something like this, playing a part like this without feeling a sense of responsibility, a fear of letting someone down. But when the creator gives you the thumbs up, it’s a blessing.”

Mumford and Sons postpone four UK shows due to ‘technical challenges’

OHMYGOSSIP — Mumford & Sons have been forced to postpone four UK shows due to “unforeseen logistical and technical challenges”.
Marcus Mumford and co are having to move their ‘Delta Tour’ shows in Liverpool, Cardiff, Sheffield and Manchester in November and December, back to next year, as they require more time to deliver the “ambitious” production they have in store for fans.
The ‘I Will Wait’ hitmakers admitted it was not a decision they have made lightly, but they simply had “no other choice” but to push back the dates.
In a statement to their fans posted on their social media profiles, they explained: “It is with a really heavy heart that we have been forced to postpone four shows on this UK tour due to unforeseen technical and logistical challenges. As you may know, the Delta Tour is by far the most ambitious show we’ve put together and we have had to free up some space in the schedule to be able to execute it, given some obstacles that have come up in production.
“As we also hope you know by now, we never postpone shows lightly, in fact it’s something we try to avoid at all costs – so this decision has been incredibly difficult to make but in this case we have no other choice. The truth is that it is simply not humanly possible to play these particular shows at this time and we are sorry the reality of that only truly landed after we completed Belfast yesterday.
“We are therefore rescheduling our Liverpool, Cardiff, Sheffield and Manchester shows to 2019 & will share information on the new dates very soon.”
Any fans who bought tickets but are unable to attend the new dates, will be able to receive a full refund from their point of purchase.
They continued: “Original tickets will be valid for the rescheduled dates and for those who may be unable to make the new dates, you will be offered a full refund from the point of purchase. Please head to our website for more info.
We are so sorry to need to do this, but we will see you soon. (sic)”
The 63-date world tour is in support of their latest LP ‘Delta’.

The ‘Stranger Things’ actress – who is best known for starring as Eleven in the award-winning Netflix sci-fi drama series – has supported the children’s charity since 2016, when she hosted its 70th anniversary celebrations at the United Nations.
As a Goodwill Ambassador, the 14-year-old star will use her global platform to raise awareness of children’s rights and issues affecting young people, such as poor education, violence, bullying and poverty.
Alongside a video explaining her role, she wrote on Instagram: “A dream come true! It’s a huge honour to become @UNICEF’s newest and youngest ever Goodwill Ambassador to help defend children’s rights across the world. I can’t wait to get started!
#WorldChildrensDay #GoBlue (sic)”
In a statement, she added:
“It’s a huge honour to join such an impressive list of people who have supported UNICEF over the years.
“I am looking forward to meeting as many children and young people as I can, hearing their stories, and speaking out on their behalf.”
The announcement was made on World Children’s Day (20.11.18) – a global day of action
“for children, by children” to raise awareness and funds for the millions of children that are “unschooled, unprotected and uprooted”.
Members of the public are encouraged to go online to sign a global petition calling on leaders to bring forth change to the lives of the millions of disadvantaged children on the planet.

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash’s ‘horrid’ first kiss

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Solomon shared a “horrid” first kiss with Joe Swash.
The 29-year-old star has opened up about the first time she locked lips with her partner and she admitted it was far from a perfect smooch.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’, Stacey – who appeared alongside him on ‘I’m A Celebrity’ spin-off ‘Extra Camp’ in 2016 – said: “My first kiss with Joe was really awkward.
“I love kissing Joe and since then it’s been wonderful, but the first one was horrid! He basically helped me get all my bags ready to leave the jungle, left my room, and the knocked back on the door and just ran over and kissed me.
“I had no idea that that was about to happen and just… I didn’t know what to do.”
Things have improved for the couple since the first kiss, and Stacey has opened up about plans to grow her family with the 34-year-old star.
She has two sons – Zachary, 10, and Leighton, six – from two previous relationships, and previously said she’d love to have her first child with boyfriend Joe soon.
Addressing rumours of an engagement between Joe – who has 11-year-old son Harry with his former partner Emma Sophocleous – and herself, Stacey said: “I don’t know if Joe and I will ever get married. It’s not the top of our to-do list. We want to extend our family first.
“I definitely see myself having more babies, but because we’ve got three healthy kids between us we wouldn’t be upset if we didn’t. We’ve already got a lovely family.”

Mariah Carey humiliated by sick son

OHMYGOSSIP — Mariah Carey was humiliated when her son threw up on Michelle Obama.
The ‘Fantasy’ hitmaker was horrified when her son Moroccan, then two, ruined the then-First Lady’s dress when they met at the National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony in 2013.
Mariah – who has Moroccan and his twin sister Monroe, now seven, with ex-husband Nick Cannon – laughed as she recalled: “Rocky spit up on Michelle Obama’s dress, and it was one of the most humiliating things that ever happened to me.
“She was like, ‘Thanks to you, I’ll never be able to wear this dress again, Rocky. So thank you.”
But that wasn’t the only embarrassing thing to have happened to Mariah because the 48-year-old singer also recalled how “mortified” she felt when she accidentally stole Meryl Streep’s seat at the Golden Globe awards in January.
The ‘All I Want For Christmas is You’ singer had gone to the bathroom during the show and took the wrong seat on her return, quickly realising she was in the ‘Mamma Mia!’ actress’ place – but the screen legend was “cool” about the mix-up.
She told ‘Watch What Happens Live’ host Andy Cohen: “That was so mortifying.
“She had spoken to me when I did ‘Precious’, and she was so sweet, and I was like, ‘I can’t believe that Meryl Streep was talking about my performance!’
“So, when I sat in her seat, I was like, ‘I didn’t do that. Please say I didn’t do that!'”
“But she was like, ‘You can sit in it anytime!’ She was very festive. She was cool about it.”
The 69-year-old actress previously joked she found Mariah in her seat “sucking up” to director Steven Spielberg – so she offered to sit in her lap.
She said: “B***h stole my seat! There she was next to Spielberg, sucking up. I said, ‘No, no, stay there.’ I said I’ll sit on your lap.”

Robert Redford writing memoir

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Redford is reportedly writing his memoir.
The 82-year-old Hollywood legend has announced he is retiring from acting and now wants to spend his time writing the story of his life and career which will document his highs and lows in the movie business and the truth about his relationships.
Redford also intends to open up on the most painful moments he has had to endure such as the death of his mother Martha, who passed away in childbirth, and the tragic death of his 10-week old son Scott, who passed away from sudden infant death syndrome in November 1959.
A source told America’s OK! magazine: “Robert’s not leaving any stone unturned. He wants to set the record straight about him and Natalie Wood, Jane Fonda and the other women in his life.
“He’s also going to include the reason he finally married again after years of avoiding the altar. He will address painful memories. He’s hoping this will be like therapy and bring him peace.”
Redford previously allowed writer Michael Callan to pen a biography on him – which was released in 2011 – and although he gave numerous interviews to the author and allowed him access to his family and friends and handed over private diaries and letters collated over many years, the Academy Award winner still did not open about the most emotionally traumatic moments he had lived through.
As well as baby Scott, Redford and his first wife Lola van Wagenen – who he divorced in 1985 – had three other children Shauna, David James, known as ‘Jamie” and Amy.
His life as a parent continued to be tinged with tragedy as Jamie was born seven weeks’ premature with a respiratory problem which almost proved fatal and then he developed ulcerative colitis and had to have his colon removed and required two liver transplants by the time he was 30.
In 1983, his daughter Shauna’s fiancé was found dead, shot in the back of the head.
Briefly talking about Scott’s death as a baby, the ‘Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid’ star previously said: “It was really hard. We were very young. I had my first theatre job, which didn’t pay much. We didn’t know anything about sudden infant death syndrome so as a parent you blame yourself. It creates a scar that never completely heals.”
After being in a relationship with Sibylle Szaggars for years the couple finally tied the knot in July 2009.
Redford made his big screen breakthrough in 1967 when he starred opposite Jane Fonda in ‘Barefoot in the Park’, the pair went on to appear in several more movies together sharing numerous steamy on-screen moments and the actress confessed she fell in love with him after making that first movie but nothing ever developed between them off screen.
Fonda – who also played Redford’s lover in ‘The Chase’, ‘The Electric Horseman’ and 2017 romantic Netflix drama ‘Our Souls at Night’ – said: “I was so in love with Bob. Nothing ever happened between us but he was fabulous to kiss. I had a mad crush. I couldn’t wait for the cuddling scenes. The only bad thing is he doesn’t like to do love scenes.”

Martha Stewart slams Uber after first ever trip

OHMYGOSSIP — Martha Stewart slammed Uber after using the app for the first time.
The 77-year-old TV star finally took the leap and used the “most expensive version” of the ride sharing service to take a ride in Manhattan.
She explained on Instagram: “My very first Uber! I ordered the most expensive version to pick me up on Fifth Avenue and 57th street in front of Tiffany’s…
“The first Uber did not show up The second Uber came ten minutes later and parked halfway down 57 th street where I could not see the license plate.
“Then we were facing east when I had to go west and south… Took twenty minutes to face south west Etc etc it only took a bit more than one hour. (sic)”
It only went from bad to worse for the star – who said she has long championed the idea of Uber from the beginning – as she shared pictures showing the mess inside the car.
She added: “On top of it all the car was a mess inside and out!!!!!!!!
“And I want Uber to succeed! I have been a fan of the concept since day one!!!!!(sic)”
Meanwhile, Martha is no stranger to technology or modern apps, and she admitted earlier this year while she has avoided Tinder she has given online dating a try in her search for love.
She previously said: “I used Match.com with great disappointment. They just don’t make algorithms for people like me.”
And Martha – whose previous partners include ex-husband Andrew Stewart, Sir Anthony Hopkins and Charles Simonyi – also revealed she has a tendency to check up on former flames.
She added: “I often Google my exes, I’m sure they Google me.”

Dolly Parton’s fast food date

OHMYGOSSIP — Dolly Parton and Carl Dean’s first date was at a McDonald’s drive-through.
The 72-year-old singer – who was just 18 when she met her now-husband – has always enjoyed low-key evenings out with her partner and they’ve learned over the years where to go without being spotted.
She said: “When I met my husband, he wanted to take me out to dinner. He pulled up to the drive-in window and got our food at McDonald’s.
“We know a few little places we can go without being bothered. He only likes to go places where he can be comfortable!”
Carl prefers to stay out of the spotlight and the ‘9 To 5’ hitmaker joked her long absences on tour are key to making their 52-year marriage last.
She told People magazine: “I always joke and laugh when people ask me what’s the key to my long marriage and lasting love.
“I always say ‘Stay gone!’ and there’s a lot of truth to that. I travel a lot, but we really enjoy each other when we’re together and the little things we do.”
Two years ago, the couple renewed their wedding vows at their Nashville home on their 50th anniversary and Dolly admitted one of the reasons for the ceremony because they “never really felt” they had had the wedding they wanted when they eloped in 1966.
She said: “I never really felt like I had the wedding that we really wanted. He got all dressed up and I got all dressed up.
“Fifty years is a long time for anything, and I felt that we needed to do something to commemorate this. It’s been a good 50 years and I don’t know how many more years we’ll have left.”
The couple never had children but Dolly – who donated her 100 millionth book through her Imagination Library initiative earlier this year – always wants to help youngsters.
She said: “Now that I’m older, I realise I didn’t have kids of my own, so everybody’s kids could be mine.
“I [want to] empower children and give them confidence.”

Eric Richard joins EastEnders

OHMYGOSSIP — Eric Richard has joined ‘EastEnders’.
The 78-year-old actor is best known for portraying Bob Cryer in axed police drama ‘The Bill’ for 20 years, but he will rock up in Walford as former cab driver Maurice, an old pal of Kat Moon’s (Jessie Wallace) late father Charlie Slater (Derek Martin).
A TV source said: “After a trip down memory lane, Kat is introduced to Maurice and is instantly suspicious of his frosty reception.”
And Kat is set to be left shocked when Maurice delivers some huge news.
The source added to The Sun’s Bizarre TV column: “Once alone, Kat confronts Maurice but isn’t prepared for the bombshell he delivers.”
Eric will see a familiar face in the green room as Scott Maslen – who plays Jack Branning on the soap – appeared as The Bill’s DS Phil Hunter before he first signed up to star as ex-cop Jack in Albert Square in 2007.
And Billy Murray, who played corrupt Don Beech in ‘The Bill’ from 1995 to 2004, has also stepped foot in Walford a fair few times when he portrayed Johnny Allen in the soap from 2005 to 2006.
Johnny’s daughter Ruby Allen, played by Louisa Lytton, recently returned to Albert Square and in last night’s (19.11.18) episode she was seen renting her old flat back from landlord Jack.
Since departing the police soap, Eric has taken to the big screen, appearing in short film ‘Stutterer’, which won an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film in 2016, and he also starred in 2017 war movie ‘Dunkirk’ as a man at a railway window.
