Amber Heard needed her Aquaman coat

OHMYGOSSIP — Amber Heard felt like she was “being hugged by baby angels” when she was allowed to wear a coat during ‘Aquaman’ breaks.
The 32-year-old actress plays Mera, the daughter of King Nereus, in the upcoming science fiction movie and she admitted she constantly felt “uncomfortable” being submerged in water for the shoots.
Speaking to SFX magazine, she said: “It was, how uncomfortable can I be? When I got to put a coat on for a few scenes out of the water, I felt like I was being hugged all over my body by baby angels. I didn’t want to go back to my Atlantean suit.”
Amber stars in the movie opposite Jason Momoa as Aquaman aka Arthur Curry and she forged a strong bond with her co-star.
She quipped: “We can’t stand each other. Arthur and Mera are really very different but inform each other in certain ways. Where one is strong, the other is weak and vice versa. It’s interesting because they have playful, cool banter that develops into something deeper. But Jason and I have pretty decent banter.”
Amber recently revealed she had to work out for five hours day to get in shape for the film.
She said: “I did six months of rigorous training. It was a lot of weight and strength training, as well as special martial arts training. By the end, I was working out for five hours a day.”
But the ‘London Fields’ actress makes sure her work outs are never an “obligation”.
She added: “When I’m not preparing for a movie, I have more freedom, and I incorporate my workout into my life, so that I enjoy it and it doesn’t feel like an obligation. I like running because it’s a way for me to alleviate stress, clear my mind, and refocus. Plus, I can do it anywhere. I travel so much that it’s invaluable to me to have something that keeps me healthy and feeling good no matter where I am.”

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s baby name inspiration

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Charles has joked that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan could name their baby Kylie after their recent trip to Australia.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their first child together and Harry’s father Charles revealed that the pair were inundated with ideas for baby names during their trip to Australia for the Invictus Games.
Speaking at a reception to celebrate the centenary of Australia House in London, Charles said: “Incidentally ladies and gentlemen my son Harry tells me that during their recent tour of Australia, he and his wife were offered countless thoughtful suggestions for the naming of their forthcoming baby.
“Just between us, I suspect that Kylie and Shane may possibly make the shortlist.”
However, in a playful dig towards comedian Barry Humphries, who is known for his stage and television alter egos of Dame Edna Everage and Sir Les Patterson, Charles, 70, quipped: “But ladies and gentlemen I would not hold your breath for Edna or Les.”
Meanwhile, Harry and former ‘Suits’ star Meghan, 37, announced the happy news of Meghan’s pregnancy in a statement that read: “Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”
And it has been revealed that the pair are determined to make sure their baby values “normal things in life”, like chores and hard work.
Royal contributor Omid Scobie told Us Weekly magazine: “[Meghan wants to] bring up children who know the values of normal things in life. Meghan will take her kids on a subway. They’ll have chores, and jobs one day. They won’t be spoiled.”
Omid’s claims come after an insider previously stated that Harry, 34, and Meghan – who was known as Meghan Markle before tying the knot with the flame-haired prince – would be aiming to give their child as normal a life as possible, despite the inevitable interest of the public.
The source said: “That word ‘normal’ looms very large for Harry and Meghan when it comes to their child’s future.”

Justin Bieber confirms marriage

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Bieber has confirmed his marriage to Hailey Baldwin with a heartfelt Instagram post.
The 24-year-old singer tied the knot with model Hailey, 22, in a secret ceremony in New York in September and after the pair hosted Thanksgiving together for both of their families on Thursday (22.11.18), Justin took to Instagram to gush about married life.
He wrote: “Happy late thanksgiving to everyone. First thanksgiving as a married man, first time hosting thanksgiving. First time both sides of the family has come together. Relationships are hard and love isn’t always easy but thank you Jesus for showing me how! Every day is a learning process, trying to be more like him, patient, kind, selfless, boy I got a long way! But gods grace is sufficient (sic).”
Justin’s confirmation comes after Hailey – who celebrated her birthday on Thursday – recently changed her name on social media to Hailey Bieber.
The model’s Instagram name now reads Hailey Rhode Bieber, whilst her username has changed from @haileybaldwin to @haileybieber.
Justin recently cut back on his work commitments in order to spend more time with his new wife, and sources say he’s “content” with where his life is now.
An insider said: “He’s happy and content. He is in love with Hailey. She encourages him to do whatever he wants to do, and is encouraging him in this season of self-discovery … It actually bugs him when people ask when he’s going back to the studio or on tour. He has worked for years, and the first time he takes a significant break, everyone’s all, ‘When’s he coming back?’ To Justin, those aren’t just questions – those are demands. For years, everyone has tried to take a piece of him. Just let him be.”

Kimberley Walsh defends Cheryl Tweedy

OHMYGOSSIP — Kimberley Walsh has defended Cheryl Tweedy after critics hit out at her comeback performance.
Cheryl, 35, was blasted for her vocals and provocative dancing when she performed her new single ‘Love Made Me Do It’ on ‘The X Factor’ last weekend but her pal Kimberley has hit back at the negativity.
She told heart.co.uk: “I thought it was amazing. I loved seeing her back on there doing what she does.
“I don’t even get into any of that. I’m not interested in any negativity.
“I like seeing my best friend up there doing her thing, and I just felt proud to be honest… she’s out there doing her thing again. I felt like a proud mum.”
Ofcom received almost 100 complaints about Cheryl’s racy performance and are currently assessing them.
A spokesperson said: “We are assessing these complaints against our broadcasting rules before deciding whether or not to investigate.”
And Cheryl also defended her own performance of the song – co-written with Nicola Roberts – by writing on Twitter: “I wanted to start by saying thank you all so much for your lovely comments and support for my performance on Sunday. You may not have read about them but I definitely saw and felt them!
“Having spent 16 years in the public eye I have always been accepting of people’s opinions. Me personally, my music and performances are never going to be for everyone. And that’s OK…..
“So thank you all again for being strong minded enough to not be influenced by the negativity. PS… I did watch my performance back and I LOVED IT! (sic).”

Dame Julie Andrews’ secret Aquaman role

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Julie Andrews has a secret role in ‘Aquaman’.
The 83-year-old actress will voice “the mythic Karathen, an undersea creature that holds the key to Arthur Curry’s (Jason Momoa) quest to unite the Atlantean and surface worlds”, in the DC comics adaptation, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Aquaman producer Peter Safran said: “We wanted the Karathen to have the voice of a classic British actress, albeit somewhat digitally altered. And when we found out Julie was interested and available and excited to do it, casting her was a no-brainer.”
‘Aquaman’ will go head-to-head with the ‘Mary Poppins’ remake, starring Emily Blunt. Original star Julie declined to appear in the reboot as she reportedly did not want to distract from Emily’s performance.
Safran added: “Who knew that ‘Aquaman’ would have the real Mary Poppins this Christmas?”
Meanwhile, director James Wan recently revealed ‘Aquaman’ will have an optimistic tone, like the critically-acclaimed ‘Wonder Woman’ film that was released in 2017.
He said: “I feel like the good thing about having something that isn’t really established is I get the opportunity to set the world, set the tone for who this guy is and the world that he lives in.
“That’s what we love about superheroes, right? We love that they represent the best part of who we want to be, right, what we strive for and what we aspire to be. And I think what I like most about this character and actually what Jason Momoa brings to it is the idea that this isn’t a … that here is a guy who’s kind of trapped between two worlds. He’s not … he doesn’t feel like he belongs in the surface world but he doesn’t feel like he belongs in the world of Atlantis as well, the underwater world.
“And so I think that’s a really interesting … it gives it more than just a very clean-cut superhero, right? And he’s not sort of just out there to just defeat bad guys strictly for that.”

Rita Ora can’t choose between X Factor and The Voice

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Ora can’t choose between ‘X Factor’ and ‘The Voice’.
The 27-year-old singer has worked as a coach on ‘The Voice UK’ and a judge on ‘The X Factor’ and when asked by an aspiring singer which one she would recommend, Rita admitted she was torn.
Writing in The Guardian’s advice column, she said: “Oh God! I’ve had the privilege of working on both. I love them equally. My heart would say ‘The Voice’ but my head would say ‘The X Factor’. It’s important to remember that, although they’re great platforms, you don’t need to go on a show to become a pop star. You can graft and do it the old-school way. If you have a dream, then 100 per cent go for it. You’re probably going to be hurt a lot of times, like I have been, like every pop star in the industry has been. You have to have very thick skin. Richard Branson said: ‘You can’t have a Plan B.’ If you’re gonna do something, you have to really commit.”
Rita previously quit ‘The Voice UK’ in 2015 in order to join the judging panel of ‘The X Factor’ and she went on to win the show with her act Louisa Johnson.
However, she quit after just one series, tweeting: “I had a ball on @TheXFactor last year and will miss the team.
“@simoncowell can’t wait to work with you again… I’ll be round for dinner soon. Thank you for the experience & love X (sic).”
‘X Factor’ producers added: “Rita brought a great energy to the show last year and did a brilliant job mentoring the girls’ category, leading Louisa to victory.
“We wish her all the best with her music and film plans for the rest of the year.”

Diddy thanks fans for support before Kim Porter’s funeral

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has thanked his fans for their support ahead of Kim Porter’s funeral.
The 49-year-old hip-hop mogul has taken to his Twitter account to thank his followers for the love they’ve shown him following the sudden death of his ex-girlfriend on November 15.
Diddy – who had kids Christian, 20, and 11-year-old twins Jessie and D’Lila with the model – wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “Today we lay to rest our ANGEL. Her spirit lives on with us FOREVER!!! We thank you all for your prayers and support. You have no idea how much it means to us. We thank GOD for all of you. #KimPorter (sic)”
Diddy previously admitted he’s been living a “nightmare” since the death of his ex-girlfriend.
The New York-born star dated Kim on and off for 13 years, and he recently paid tribute to her in a heartfelt message posted on his Instagram account.
Alongside a video of himself cradling Kim while she was pregnant, Diddy wrote: “For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER S**T!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love [love heart emoji] (sic)”
Kim was found dead at her Los Angeles home after suffering from “flu-like” symptoms for weeks, and the police subsequently confirmed there was “no foul play” surrounding her passing.

Anthony Russell’s X Factor fears

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The X Factor’s Anthony Russell has not been able to rehearse for the semi-final after losing his voice.
The 28-year-old fan favourite – who has been championed by his One Direction star mentor Louis Tomlinson – has suffered a huge setback this week after having voice issues and is said to be worried about Saturday’s (24.11.18) semi-final.
A source told The Sun: “While ‘X Factor’ is gruelling on every singer’s voice, Anthony’s issues have been a real cause for concern in this crucial week.
“He revealed to fans earlier this week he was on voice rest, but that didn’t tell the whole story.
“He’s either not been singing during vocal sessions or rehearsals or has missed them altogether.
“Anthony has a passionate fanbase, but knows he has to deliver a killer performance at the weekend as well.
“He’s worried and has almost convinced himself he’s going home.”
Anthony revealed earlier this week that he had been put on voice rest but promised fans he would still “smash it” on Saturday.

Rami Malek: I don’t have any rhythm

OHMYGOSSIP — Rami Malek doesn’t have any “rhythm” – despite playing Freddie Mercury in ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.
The 37-year-old actor portrayed the iconic star in the Queen biopic, but Rami was always open with producer Graham King about his lack of musical ability prior to landing the coveted role.
He shared: “We sat down for a six-hour meeting and he’d really only seen me in ‘Mr Robot’, where I played this profoundly alienated, socially anxious human being who’s a pretty far cry from Freddie Mercury.
“Graham saw something in me with Dennis O’Sullivan, and gave me a shot. I said, ‘Listen, I’m not a singer. I don’t play the piano. I move in a very interesting way on a dancefloor – I don’t know if I’d call it rhythm.'”
Despite his lack of musical talent, Rami was always confident that with hard work and discipline he’d eventually to be able to excel in the role.
He told Deadline: “Somehow, I just said, ‘If I have the time, I can get there. If you help me out with the things I need.'”
Meanwhile, Rami recently revealed he is still researching Freddie following the release of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.
The actor remains obsessed with reading about the ‘Radio Gaga’ singer and making sure he got the part spot on.
He explained: “You see him onstage and then almost instinctively, I’d want to discover more.
“There’s just an eloquence and elegance to him that you see when he’s onstage, and then you can see where all that was birthed from. Not many artists are wearing an entire head-to-toe leather outfit, sipping a champagne flute and telling their audience to strip naked if they please. And he still comes off with this essence of royalty.
“I re-read one of the biographies the other day just to see, ‘Did I miss anything?'”

Taron Egerton and Richard Madden share love scene

OHMYGOSSIP — Taron Egerton “got quite physical” with Richard Madden in ‘Rocketman’ for a love scene.
The 29-year-old actor portrays Sir Elton John in the upcoming biopic and he shares a sex scene with the ‘Bodyguard’ star, who plays his manager and lover John Reid, in the honest upcoming biopic and both stars just went for it when the cameras started rolling.
He said: “I probably shouldn’t be telling you this but we have a sex scene. We went to some places together and got quite physical.
“I’ve watched it back and I think it looks great. The grown-up nature of the film, combined with it being a musical, makes it feel quite zeitgeisty. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this but it’s basically about Elton in rehab, so we’re not watering anything down.”
The ‘Robin Hood’ actor loved “every minute” of working on the musical movie and thinks it’s his best piece of work to date.
He said: “I finished working on it two days ago and I think it could be the best thing I’ve done. It feels very special and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’ve always loved singing and musicals, and I felt that there was that big side of myself that I haven’t explored yet in films but this gave me the opportunity to do that. And it’s very consciously a proud, gay film and it’s also open to showing Elton’s darker moments.”
Now he’s finished filming the movie, Taron is hoping to find the time to watch Richard in hugely popular BBC drama series ‘The Bodyguard’.
He said: “I think I’m the only person in the world who hasn’t seen it yet. But he did mention it! I will get round to it soon. I’ve just been filming non-stop.”

Chrissy Teigen says bone broth ‘saved’ her body

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen thinks bone broth “saved” her body following childbirth.
The 32-year-old model – who has kids Luna, two, and six-month-old Miles with husband John Legend – has revealed how bone broth helped her to cope with her “constant aches” after giving birth.
She wrote on Twitter: “bone broth kind of saved my body when I was going through it postpartum. I lived a life of constant aches, overall weakness and body bruising (from the slightest bumps) and rich, hearty bone broth put me back together again (also the meds) but I give much kudos to bone broth. (sic)”
However, Chrissy subsequently admitted bone broth won’t cure all of the issues caused by childbirth.
Responding to another user on the micro-blogging platform, the American star conceded: “yeah I don’t really believe anything is a cure-all, I just know it works for me and gives me all the goodness my body is lacking. I have no stake in big bone broth, just love its herby, fatty goodness (sic)”
Meanwhile, Chrissy recently revealed sees Twitter as her “connection to the world”.
The model shared: “People are like, ‘Why do you have time for all of these strangers?’ But that is my outside connection to the world.
“I genuinely love doing it. I always have. I enjoy talking to people and feeling like I know them and having this conversation.”
Chrissy briefly abandoned Twitter after she received threats following a message she posted about gun control.
But Chrissy refuses to bite her tongue on issues she feels passionately about.
She said: “Our lives would be so much easier if we didn’t dabble in politics at all, but I don’t want that kind of life. For us, we are willing to take that risk, because we believe in it so passionately.”

Bono felt ’emasculated’ when he lost his voice

OHMYGOSSIP — Bono felt “emasculated” when he lost his voice.
The U2 frontman had to cut short a gig in Berlin, Germany, in September when he began to struggle due to the smoke in the arena and he admitted people around him were “alarmed” because he’d had no problems before going on stage.
Speaking to Q magazine, he said: “It was emasculating. I didn’t know quite what it was. I had nothing wrong with my voice before the show.
“It wasn’t laryngitis. That’s what made people alarmed. It was some allergic reaction and it just turned it off. Turned off the voice.”
Despite the ‘One’ group’s years of success, the 58-year-old singer thinks it’s taken him until now to be as “great” as the rest of the band.
He said: “I shouldn’t tell you this but the band played some New York show in Madison Square Garden [this year]. And I looked around and I went, ‘Oh my, this is the most potent this band has ever been.’
“It’s not like there was an earlier period where I thought, ‘This is nearly as good as back then.’ This is like better.
“Then I realised they have always been very good-to-great. I heard early Marquee shows back and realised the band, the musicians in the band, have always been very good-to-great, but I wasn’t.
“I was a great lightning rod and frontman but when I heard those Marquee shows from 1980, I don’t think I was great. But I’ve caught up with them.”
At the time of the axed show in Berlin, Bono’s bandmates Adam Clayton, Larry Mullen and The Edge posted a message on the band’s website and admitted they were baffled by what had happened to the singer.
It said: “We’re so sorry for tonight’s cancellation. Bono was in great form and great voice prior to the show and we were all looking forward to the second night in Berlin, but after a few songs, he suffered a complete loss of voice.
“We don’t know what has happened and we’re taking medical advice.
“As always, we appreciate our audience’s understanding and all our fans’ support in Berlin and those who travelled from afar. We will update you very soon.”

Cheryl rejected chance to star in Chicago

OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl has rejected the chance to star in ‘Chicago’ in London.
The 35-year-old singer is reported to have auditioned for the role of Roxie Hart in the theatre production, but a spokesperson for the brunette beauty has revealed she declined the opportunity to star in the show.
A representative for Cheryl told MailOnline: “We can confirm that Cheryl was approached with an offer to take the role but turned it down.”
The role of Roxie has since been claimed by British TV star Caroline Flack, who previously presented ‘The X Factor’.
It’s been reported that Caroline, 39, will start rehearsals for the production once she has filmed the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ Christmas special.
The popular presenter won the BBC dance show in 2014.
Meanwhile, Cheryl recently admitted she will “move on” with her life if her musical comeback is a flop.
The singer – who first found fame as part of the chart-topping girl group Girls Aloud – revealed that motherhood has transformed her outlook on life, meaning she now measures her success by happiness rather than by record sales.
Asked about her comeback single ‘Love Made Me Do It’, Cheryl – whose son Bear was born in March last year – said: “If it goes in at 80, it’s time for me to move on with my life. I’m not going to jump around working hard and spending time away from my son for that.”
Despite her success, Cheryl confessed her life could easily have gone down another route had she not joined Girls Aloud.
Cheryl – who was born in the city of Newcastle in North-East England – explained: “One of my friends is now a primary school teacher, another friend moved away and had a family, but some just went down the line of drugs and unemployment. The area had the highest unemployment rate in the UK two years ago.”

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan moving to Windsor

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are moving to Windsor.
The couple currently reside in the two-bedroom Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace in London but plan to move to the 10-bedroom Frogmore Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Castle next year before their first child is born.
Kensington Palace said in a statement: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will more to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate early next year as they prepare for the arrival of their first child. The couple have lived at Nottingham Cottage since their engagement last year. Windsor is a very special place for Their Royal Highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate. The Duke and Duchess’s official office will continue to be based at Kensington Palace.”
Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, held their wedding reception at Frogmore House, situated across from their new cottage, which was gifted to them by Queen Elizabeth.
The announcement comes after it was claimed that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan were planning a “separate court” from his brother Prince William and William’s wife Duchess Catherine.
Royals author Sally Bedell Smith told PEOPLE: “The arrival of Meghan has changed the dynamic of the relationship in a fairly significant way. It is inevitable and practical because it gives Harry and Meghan some freedom to build up their own collection of interests and charities.
“Meghan has very strong views on what she is interested in and that may be what Harry shares, but not what William and Kate share.
“They have brought many charities working in the same sector together to empower them and lend their positions. But they will increasingly follow their own respective interests.
“I think it really is just a shift in priorities and interests. William is a husband and father of three and his focus is primarily on them, and Harry will soon be a father.
“Each of them will continue the very strong representative of the Queen in carrying out tasks and assignments that she, and probably their father, wants them to do. They are going to be sharing in this diffusion of activities on behalf of the Queen.”

Ashley Roberts tops the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Roberts tops the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ leaderboard following tonight’s (24.11.18) performances.
The 37-year-old pop star and her professional partner Pasha Kovalev moved to the summit of the leaderboard following the Lindy Hop-A-Thon, which followed the traditional ‘Strictly’ dances.
At the end of the first phase of the show, singer Faye Tozer and TV star Stacey Dooley actually sat joint-top of the standings on 39 points each.
Shirley Ballas was one of three judges who awarded Stacey a score of ten for her eye-catching pasodoble.
She said: “Stacey looked like a star – it was brilliant.”
Fellow judge Bruno Tonioli was similarly impressed, telling Stacey and her professional partner Kevin Clifton: “One hundred percent genuine, fantastically choreographed, you killed every bull in your path!”
Meanwhile, Faye – who is partnered with Giovanni Pernice – wowed the judges with her waltz.
Craig Revel Horwood said: “I loved it, graceful, elegant, gorgeous rise and fall.”
Darcey Bussell described their routine as “exquisite”.
And Bruno added: “[It was] effortlessly classic, refined, polished and poised.”
However, Ashley – whose first dance was awarded a score of 36 by the judges – moved to the top of the leaderboard after winning the Lindy Hop-A-Thon round, which gave the contestants the chance to add some extra points to their earlier scores.

Cheryl Tweedy ‘loses out on West End role’

OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl Tweedy reportedly lost out on a West End role to Caroline Flack.
The ‘Love Made Me Do It’ singer was believed to be in talks to take on the role of Roxie Hart in the London stage production of ‘Chicago’ but the part ultimately went to her former ‘The X Factor’ co-star Caroline instead.
According to The Sun, Cheryl, 35, has wanted to play the iconic part, portrayed by Renee Zellweger in the Oscar-winning 2002 movie, for years but she was beaten to the role by Caroline, 39.
Meanwhile, Cheryl recently revealed that she will “move on” with her life if her musical comeback is a flop.
The star – who has a 19-month-old son called Bear with her ex-boyfriend Liam Payne – has revealed that motherhood has transformed her outlook on life, meaning she now measures her success by happiness rather than by record sales.
Speaking before the release of her comeback single, Cheryl – who split from Liam earlier this year – told the Guardian newspaper: “If it goes in at 80, it’s time for me to move on with my life. I’m not going to jump around working hard and spending time away from my son for that.”
The song entered the UK charts at number 19 before swiftly falling outside the Top 40.
Cheryl first found fame as part of Girls Aloud, the pop group created through ITV’s ‘Popstars: The Rivals’ and recently revealed she’s been seeing someone in the past year to keep her anxiety “in check”.
But the British star also insisted that her previous worries have now become “less relevant”.
She said: “I used to have anxiety – [I’ve] been seeing someone in the past year to keep that in check – I don’t want to be stressed as a mam or a pop star.
“We’re supposed to be living our best lives, aren’t we? Stresses I used to feel are less relevant.”
