Miley Cyrus to collaborate with Mark Ronson this week

OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus will drop her collaboration with Mark Ronson on Thursday (29.11.18).
The 26-year-old singer will team up with the ‘Uptown Funk’ musician on a brand new track which will be released this week, as they both took to social media this week to confirm the news.
First, Mark posted a video on Twitter of a disco ball in the shape of a broken heart, which slowly spun as nine seconds of music played, which he captioned: “the heartbreak era is coming….sooner than u think #featuringwho? (sic)”
And the following day, 26-year-old Miley confirmed she was the mystery guest when she posted the same video on her Twitter account.
The caption simply featured this Thursday’s date, and Mark’s Twitter handle, as she wrote: “11/29 @MarkRonson (sic)”
If that wasn’t enough, the duo will perform their new track live on ‘Saturday Night Live’ on December 15.
The American sketch show posted a picture on their own Twitter account with the line up of stars taking part over the next three weeks, which listed Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus as the musical guests when Matt Damon will work as the host.
Meanwhile, 43-year-old Mark recently revealed he considers himself a “collaborative artist” as he likes to “bounce” ideas off of them, rather than sitting down to write by himself.
He said: “My thing is basically purely collaborative because I rarely sit down and write by myself at the piano. Usually I’m producing an artist and sometimes you’re there to give a lot of the song, sometimes you’re there just to help with a few lyrics, be a bouncing board, give a few chords, help finish the next line. I only know that side of it.”

Justin Timberlake postpones LA show

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake has been forced to postpone his LA show after bruising his vocal chords.
The 37-year-old musician was due to take to the stage at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Tuesday (27.11.18) night, but has been forced to postpone the show because of continued vocal chord issues, which have already led him to push back several of the dates on his ‘Man of the Woods’ tour.
Justin has been plagued with vocal chord problems for the past month, and previously postponed several dates including his planned October 24 show at Madison Square Garden in New York, his October 28 Buffalo, New York appearance, and two performances in Tacoma slated for November 12 and 13.
The ‘Say Something’ hitmaker hasn’t posted a statement about his latest cancellation, but did take to Twitter to explain the situation when his first string of dates were postponed.
He wrote at the time: “Hey guys, I’m sorry to announce I have to postpone the show at MSG tonight on doctor’s orders.
“My vocal cords are severely bruised. I’m gonna make this up to you and the new show will be on my birthday, January 31.
“More info to come. Again I’m so sorry to do this, but excited to see you soon. Love, J”
So far, Justin has rescheduled all his postponed shows except for the newly axed Los Angeles date, which is expected to be rescheduled soon.
The ‘Cry Me a River’ singer is expected to take to the stage at his next date in Phoenix, Arizona, at the Talking Stick Resort Arena on November 29.

Joe Swash gets cockroach out

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Swash has finally had a cockroach removed from his ear.
The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Extra Camp’ host had the creature stuck for two days but hospital staff finally extracted it a few hours ago – and he’s taken the insect home.
Joe had an unsuccessful hospital trip on Sunday (25.11.18) and was told to return when a specialist was available, so in an Instagram story posted from Australia on Tuesday (27.11.18), he documented his return visit.
He said in one clip: “We’re at a new hospital, hopefully today is the day I get rid of my little squatter, he’s been in there two days. Keep your fingers crossed because my ear is starting to stink.”
He then shared another clip featuring the screen that a camera put into his ear broadcast images to and was stunned by what he saw.
He said: “This is the little telly that’s gonna look down my ear drum and you’re gonna see my little friend.”
As the insect came into view, he exclaimed: “Oh my god, look at the size of him, get him out of my ear as quick as possible.”
The 36-year-old star finished documenting his hospital trip with a video of him having the insect removed, along with some ear wax, and ended by showing off a tiny jar with the cockroach trapped inside.
He said: “This little fella is my little squatter that was in my ear. Look at the size of him! That was in my ear. OMG!(sic)”
On ‘Extra Camp’ on Monday (26.11.18) Joe revealed that not only was the cockroach still trapped, it was also starting to “die” and was emitting a foul stench.
Guest Sam Thompson sniffed the actor’s ear and exclaimed: “Oh mate that’s actually rank. I don’t understand how you can live with that in your ear, it’s so intense.”
Joe replied: “You can smell it dying in my ear. But don’t worry though, it’s coming out today.”

Debbie McGee slams Strictly changes

OHMYGOSSIP — Debbie McGee has criticised the Couples’ Choice category on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 60-year-old star – who made it to the final of last year’s show with professional partner Giovanni Pernice – doesn’t think it’s fair that classic Latin and ballroom routines are being marked alongside the new routines, which are either Theatre and Jazz, Contemporary or Street Commercial.
However, Debbie doesn’t want to get rid of the new dances but she thinks it would be a better idea to have a special episode where each couple and their choices are pitted against one another.
Speaking on The Telegraph’s ‘Talking Strictly’ podcast, she said: “I think it’s good to introduce something new so that the programme changes, the pictures change.
“I totally agree that the programme is about Latin and Ballroom. But if they want to put something different in, my personal opinion would be well, why don’t they have a night where it’s all the Couples’ Choice?
“I think it would be fairer with the marking than marking against the Samba.”
And former show professional James Jordan – who has insisted the new routines have “no place” on the programme – agreed with Debbie’s suggestion.
He said: “You’re comparing like for like then. Then you compare those dances against each other.”
After James criticised the new routines on Twitter, he revealed he had been inundated with messages of agreement.
He said: “A lot of people agreed with me that that sort of dance shouldn’t be on ‘Strictly’.
“You can’t please everyone. I’m not saying I’m always right, because I’m not always right.”
The upcoming ‘Dancing On Ice’ contestant had criticised Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell’s hip-hop style performance over the weekend.
He posted: “I like Joe and Dianne but for me this dance has no place on Strictly.
“He did a good job but I can’t really comment on the technique.”

Ashley Roberts worried about public backlash on Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Roberts is reportedly concerned about “public backlash” over her dance background on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The Pussycat Dolls singer has been topping the leaderboard for several weeks on the BBC Latin and ballroom dance competition, and even scored the first perfect 40 of the series.
But after facing the dance-off last week – where she narrowly escaped elimination when judges chose to send home cricketer Graeme Swann instead – she is said to be worried that her previous experience in dancing is turning the voting public against her.
A source said: “She is worried a public backlash will see her exit the competition despite being an early favourite to win.
“Ashley was incredibly shaken to be in the bottom two and was upset her popularity had gone after failing to secure public votes.
“She was seen being comforted by friends backstage.”
As well as serving as a member of the Pussycat Dolls for seven years, 37-year-old Ashley started off her career in a burlesque dance troupe.
Sources also claim the other contestants left in the show are pleased to see her “unfair advantage” being brought to light, as the competition nears its closing stages with just six couples left battling for a place in the final.
The insider told The Sun’s Bizarre TV Column: “Others left in the competition talked about justice being served after her former dance experience was brought up again this week.
“Some of the celebrities feel Ashley has an unfair advantage and it’s about time the public were reminded of that.
“They feel she has sailed through the competition on an uneven playing field.
“The knives are out. Instead of consoling her, the professionals and celebrities celebrated this coming to light and affecting the voting this way.”

Jason Momoa had two stunt doubles for Aquaman

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Momoa had to have two stunt doubles “constantly working” on the set of ‘Aquaman’.
The 39-year-old American actor plays the aquatic superhero – also known as Arthur Curry – in the James Wan directed flick and speaking at the DC Comic blockbuster’s world premiere in London on Monday night (26.11.18) he revealed he needed the help of his doppelgangers due to the numerous extravagant action sequences.
He said: “I definitely do a lot of my stunts but there’s so many stunts in this that we had to constantly be prepping so I had two stunt doubles constantly working.”
Jason – who played the character in ‘Justice League’ – is seen for the first time in Aquaman’s famous gold and green superhero costume and he admitted it was a thrill to FaceTime call his young kids, daughter Lola, 11, and nine-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf, from the set so they could see their dad dressed up.
The Hollywood hunk – who raises his kids with his wife Lisa Bonet – said: “My experience was looking in James Wan’s eyes and he was delighted and filled with joy and he was stoked and I called my kids on FaceTime and got to see their faces, it was beautiful.”
Dolph Lundgren also stars in the DC Extended Universe film and plays King Nereus, the father of Amber Heard’s alter ego Mera.
During the shoot, the 61-year-old Swedish actor saw similarities between his ‘Aquaman’ character and iconic He-Man, who he portrayed in the 1987 film ‘Masters of the Universe’, and that came from director Wan being a big fan of the 80s children’s cartoon and Mattel action figure range.
Dolph said: “Well, I think James Wan was a fan of ‘Masters of the Universe’ when he was a little kid and my King Nereus looks a bit like He-Man. So I think there’s a reason why I got cast for this role but it was a great role and a very good cast and I think it’s a fun movie.”
Opening up about the highlight of his ‘Aquaman’ scenes, Dolph added: “Well look it’s called dry for wet which means you shoot everything on a blue screen and you hanging on these wires 40 feet in the air conducting scenes and action.
“For me, I really look up to people who do these superhero movies because it’s really difficult. And the more you weigh the more the harness pulls on certain areas of the male anatomy and after four or five hours you’re ready to come down.”

Willem Dafoe: Vincent van Gogh would like our movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Willem Dafoe hopes Vincent van Gogh would have “enjoyed” seeing his life played out in ‘At Eternity’s Gate’.
The 63-year-old actor plays the famous artist in the new biographical drama movie – which was released in the US on November 16 – and has said that whilst he can’t say what the painter, who died in 1890, would think of the production if he were alive today, he hopes he would be pleased with the team’s work.
When asked what van Gogh would think, Willem said: “I can’t even think about that. Who knows? We would like to think that he’d enjoy it. That’s something I would have to ruminate on for a long time. But, it’s a movie. We’re making it for now. We’re making it for us. Van Gogh is a very important, influential figure to Julian [Schnabel, the director]. The film does a service to him in the respect that it doesn’t try to explain him. It’s our imagining of what it might be like to be him.”
The Hollywood icon admits he learned a lot about the painter that was unknown to him before taking on the role, including how “socially awkward” he was, as well as his “spiritual” nature.
Asked if he learned anything that surprised him, Willem said: “How steeped he was in a spiritual quest, which is usually short-handed as a kind of madness. He tried to be a man of God early in his life, so that was surprising to what extent he was always having a dialogue with his God through nature.
“For someone that was so socially awkward and had so much trouble communicating with people on a social level and famously had trouble with women, had trouble with physicality, intimacy, he was a very compassionate person. He felt distance from people, but he loved the soul of the worker. He talks much about how you have to live like a peasant to paint peasants.”
To research the role, Willem made sure to read up on the painter, but then insisted he had to “forget” what he’d learned because he didn’t want to “copy” the version of van Gogh depicted in other films.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, he said: “I read biographies, of course. I had seen ‘Lust for Life’ and the [Robert] Altman film [‘Vincent & Theo’] years ago. But when you make something, you really want to forget those things. You can’t copy them. It’s the idea that to express what a work of art is you have to make another thing. There are parallels to what you learn in painting: It’s not about likeness.”

Jameela Jamil has slammed celebs ‘toxic’ diet tips

OHMYGOSSIP — Jameela Jamil has slammed “toxic” celebrities for their “terrible” diet tips.
The 32-year-old actress has branded Khloe Kardashian, Cardi B, Iggy Azalea and Amber Rose as “liars” for promoting weight loss shakes and urged the stars to “give the discount code” to their “plastic surgeons” rather than weight loss products.
Sharing promotional posts by Iggy, Khloe, Cardi B and Amber for ‘FlatTummyCo.’ on Twitter, she wrote: “Give us the discount codes to your nutritionists, personal chefs, personal trainers, airbrushers and plastic surgeons you bloody liars.”
The ‘Good Place’ actress then went on to open up about her own battle with eating disorders and admitted she had “listened to irresponsible celebrities” and permanently damaged her health.
Sharing a screenshot of her earlier tweet on Instagram, she said: ” I am so sick of the lies. I was so riddled with eating disorders when I was young. I listened to irresponsible celebrities and bought all these bad products and followed their TERRIBLE and toxic diet tips for how they maintained the tiny weight they were… and I f***ed up my metabolism and digestive system for life.
“I damaged my fertility, I was consumed and mentally ill. I was obsessed and didn’t eat a meal for over three years as a growing teen.
“I am not going to stop until we teach people to be better allies to women and stop selling this not at all medically sound shit and rhetoric to us. UNFOLLOW THE PEOPLE WHO TELL YOU THINGS THAT MAKE YOU FEEL BAD (sic)”
These comments come after the former T4 presenter criticised the ‘I Like It’ hitmaker for selling detox tea to her fans and claiming she wanted her to “sh** herself in public”.
She previously said: “They got Cardi B on the laxative nonsense “detox” tea. GOD I hope all these celebrities all s**t their pants in public, the way the poor women who buy this nonsense upon their recommendation do. Not that they actually take this s**t. They just flog it because they need MORE MONEY (sic)”

Viola Davis signs feature deal with Amazon Studios

OHMYGOSSIP — Viola Davis has signed a first look feature production deal with Amazon Studios.
The ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ actress runs JuVee Productions with husband Julius Tennon, and the couple have agreed to bring their projects to the streaming service.

“Viola and Julius Tennon’s JuVee Productions brings distinctive, fresh voices and high-quality content to our customers in both theaters and on Prime Video.”
The announcement comes as Davis has been working on new comedy ‘Troupe Zero’ – which stars Allison Janney and Jim Gaffigan – with Amazon ahead of a 2019 release.

Taking to social media, she wrote on Instagram: “Been dating myself lately. Getting to know myself and even falling in love. Love and happiness is real without waiting on someone or something to do it for you.”
Kendra admitted it’s not been easy to adjust to being alone after the end of her marriage, but she has been working on it.
She added: “Been taking a lot of patience, empathy and discipline…. well, except with the d**k head I flipped off on the road the other day…”

Shania Twain is ‘bored’ of country music

OHMYGOSSIP — Shania Twain is “bored” of today’s country music scene.
The ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman!’ hitmaker has bemoaned the current state of country music in the US, as she claimed there’s “too much of the sameness” on the airwaves, and not enough female country stars being played on the radio.
She said: “We are not making radio progress, but we are making very small, steady steps towards awareness that we’re lacking women on country radio.
“We have too much of the sameness right now. I’m a little bit bored of it, and I want to pick it up. The only way to do that is to be proactive.”
The 53-year-old singer does admit that some progress has been made to help female country artists since she broke out into the genre, but insists many stars are still “intimidated” by what they “believe country music is”.
She added: “When I first came on the scene in country music, the limits were way too narrow for me, and it was hard for me. There are a lot of artists out there who are intimidated of what they believe country music is … I want to show them there are no limits.”
And now, the ‘From This Moment On’ singer isn’t even sure she would consider herself a country artist.
She told E! News: “Who am I am as an artist, as a songwriter, as a performer is completely outside the box of where we’ve narrowed country music to be right now. But the fans aren’t narrow-minded.”
Meanwhile, Shania recently said she’d love to collaborate with Celine Dion and write a song for her.
She said: “One of my dreams has always been that she would record one of my songs. So yeah, I’d love her to sing one of my songs. I’m going to write one for her! I love her, she’s extraordinary.
“I could write the song, she could sing it.”

Guns N’ Roses cut set ‘after huge row between Axl Rose and Slash’

OHMYGOSSIP — Guns N’ Roses reportedly abandoned their Abu Dhabi show over the weekend due to an explosive backstage row.
The ‘Paradise City’ rockers said they had to cut their set short on Sunday night (25.11.18) because frontman Axl Rose was ill, but it is claimed it was actually down to an argument with guitarist Slash.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Axl and Slash had an almighty tear-up over money. They were late to the stage.
“Axl made out he’d been ill all day and couldn’t do a full set. They refused stageside VIPs except [Lewis Hamilton] and [Kimi Raikkonen]. Because of the fight they didn’t want anyone backstage.”
The band played for two hours – 16 songs – before calling it a night, and it’s said the row started over the group’s £3 million fee for the event.
The report comes after the band told fans at the show that Axl – whose long-standing feud with Slash in the past has been no secret, although they appeared to patch things up – had been “throwing up” throughout the day.
In fan-filmed footage, he can be heard saying on stage: “They’ve got me on IVs and a bunch of injections, ’cause I got sick today, I’ve been throwing up for about the last five hours.
“So instead of cancelling, I’m gonna do the best show we can for you.”
Slash later tweeted: “Abu Dhabi, you guys were f***ing great tonight!
“Axl was severely ill. But you all were hugely supportive. Thanks for that. We’ll see again next time! Cheers! (sic)”
Meanwhile, bassist Duff McKagan added that the crowd “pulled” Axl through, and described his performance as miraculous considering his condition.
He wrote: “Thank you Abu Dhabi! @axlrose pulled a damn miracle… the man was beyond ill, and pulled off something I’ve never seen in my 40 yrs of playing. You all pulled him thru. Til next time! (sic)”

It’s said that producers have noticed a bit of a spark between the 28-year-old actress and ‘DIY SOS’ star Nick, 56, and they’re hoping it can develop into something during their time in the jungle.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “Producers think Nick and Emily getting together would make good telly. Nick has a type and Emily fits the bill.
“And she hasn’t minded a famous boyfriend in the past. Everyone is watching closely and hoping for a proper spark.
“They’ve had a couple of moments on screen that producers thought was a good sign. They’re seeing how things develop.”
The dad-of-four has previously dated ‘Emmerdale’ actress Gemma Oaten, 34, and 31-year-old model Pasca Craymer, while his e-wife Jessica Moor was 25 years younger than him.

She said: “I am single at the moment. And never say never [to finding a romance in the camp].

Amanda Bynes ‘ruined’ career with tweets

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Bynes thinks she “ruined” her career through Twitter.
The ‘Easy A’ actress admitted she is “really ashamed and embarrassed” about a period in her life when she a lot of drugs and posted a number of bizarre and hurtful messages about her family and other celebrities, including some infamously vulgar posts about Drake, and the comments still “eat away” at her.
She said: “I’m really ashamed and embarrassed with the things I said. I can’t turn back time but if I could, I would. And I’m so sorry to whoever I hurt and whoever I lied about because it truly eats away at me. It makes me feel so horrible and sick to my stomach and sad.
“Everything I worked my whole life to achieve, I kind of ruined it all through Twitter. It’s definitely not Twitter’s fault — it’s my own fault.”
The 32-year-old actress even made the “really foolish” decision to announce her retirement on the microblogging site.
Speaking to Paper magazine for their Break the Internet issue, she said: “I saw it and I was convinced that I should never be on camera again and I officially retired on Twitter, which was, you know, also stupid.
“If I was going to retire [the right way], I should’ve done it in a press statement — but I did it on Twitter. Real classy!
“But, you know, I was high and I was like, ‘You know what? I am so over this’ so I just did it. But it was really foolish and I see that now. I was young and stupid.”
Amanda – who has been sober for four years – admitted her substance abuse “messed up” her brain and turned her into a different person.
She said: “My advice to anyone who is struggling with substance abuse would be to be really careful because drugs can really take a hold of your life.
“Everybody is different, obviously, but for me, the mixture of marijuana and whatever other drugs and sometimes drinking really messed up my brain. It really made me a completely different person. I actually am a nice person. I would never feel, say or do any of the things that I did and said to the people I hurt on Twitter.”
And the ‘She’s The Man’ star warned even “harmless” drugs can ruin a person’s life.
She continued: “There are gateway drugs and thankfully I never did heroin or meth or anything like that but certain things that you think are harmless, they may actually affect you in a more harmful way. Be really, really careful because you could lose it all and ruin your entire life like I did.”

The 1975’s Matty Healy didn’t want to sing about heroin addiction before he got clean

OHMYGOSSIP — Matty Healy only sang about his drug addiction because he got clean.
The 1975 frontman has admitted he didn’t want to write about his issues with substance abuse – which he opened up about on new track ‘It’s Not Living (If It’s Not With You)’ – while he was going through it because he didn’t feel he’d have enough to say.
Detailing each song on new LP ‘A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships’, the star told Pitchfork magazine: “I wouldn’t have written about heroin unless I had gotten clean. ‘I do it’ was never a good enough reason for me to talk about it.
“I don’t think Kurt Cobain tried to romanticise drug addiction; because he was so publicly the coolest person in the world, and grunge was so dark, he was telling his truth. Whereas Pete Doherty was a different character.
“That was the thing that I was always scared of: being an obnoxious celebration of that kind of sickness. I just felt so lucky. I hadn’t lost anything really. And that’s normally why people go to rehab, because they lost so much they can’t bear to lose anything else. But I was lucky.”
Matty – the son of ‘Loose Women’ star Denise Welch – admitted he decided to write about his own experiences with heroin through a character named Danny on the new track, even if it’s “obvious” it’s autobiographical.
He added: “I think I’m trying to consciously hide it behind being somebody else, writing about their struggle and their strife.
“Like, ‘So I’ve got this friend, right? And he’s got this really weird rash on his gooch?’ [laughs] That kind of vibe. So it’s like, ‘Well tell your friend that he should…’
“But it’s quite obvious it’s about me, because there’s been a real reluctance for me to talk about it. I didn’t want to talk about being a heroin addict for five years – having actual nightmares of the idea of it being uncovered. So there was a humorous reluctance to disclose it in this song.”

Kym Marsh’s puppy poo problem

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coronation Street’ star Kym Marsh is sick of cleaning up her puppy’s poo.
The 42-year-old actress loves her new pooch, who she has named Rico, but she is growing tired of constantly having to mop up his wee and bag his faeces, whilst he has a fondness to chew her seven-year-old daughter Polly’s toy dolls.
Writing in her weekly OK! magazine column, she said: “Our new puppy, Rico, is still settling in nicely. He isn’t fully vaccinated so he can’t get out just yet. I’m getting a bit fed up of cleaning up wee and poo, but he is getting better. He’s a bit of a nutter and loves to chew things. I keep catching him with Polly’s dolls in his mouth.”
Rico – who is a long-haired black, brown and white Chihuahua – is named after Barry Manilow’s hit song ‘Copacabana’ which tells the story of a mobster called Rico who takes a fancy to a showgirl named Lola.
The former Hear’Say pop star thought the moniker would be fitting as she already has a short-haired Chihuahua called Lola along with a King Charles spaniel called Barney, and she says the pooch pair are both bonding well with their new mutt mate.
Kym – who has been playing Michelle Connor on the ITV soap for over 10 years – previously admitted that she hadn’t planned to introduce another dog into her home in Cheshire, but couldn’t resist when she was told about the adorable puppy by friends.
The TV star – who is in a relationship with Scott Ratcliffe – said: “I had a real softie moment and said, ‘I want him.’ ”
