Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus bonded over her animals

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus bonded over her pet animals before hitting the studio.
The ‘Uptown Funk’ hitmaker and former Disney star, who released their collaboration ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’ this month, chatted about the singer’s pigs and and dogs in a “three-hour” conversation before they even started recording.
He recalled: “She was just so funny and charming and we probably spoke for about three hours about her dogs and her pigs and just random stuff before we even got into [singing].”
The studio wizard – who has worked with the likes of Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga and the late Amy Winehouse – hailed the ‘Wrecking Ball’ hitmaker as one of the “greatest vocalists” he’s ever worked with and said as soon as she started singing, he was taken back.
He added to Sky News: “She went in, put the headphones on, turned on the mic and sung and it was one of the most wonderful things I’ve ever heard. “I loved that she was telling all these wild entertaining stories and then on a dime, ‘shall I go sing now?’, and then it’s one of the greatest vocalists I’ve ever recorded.”
Miley has hit the headlines over the years for her controversial stage outfits and wilder younger years, and thought Mark didn’t take any notice, he always felt she had a “slightly hippyish vibe”.
He said: “I always got the feeling that she was a good person with a slightly hippyish vibe … she just seemed like somebody who always wants to be pushing the envelope.”
Praising the former ‘Hannah Montana’ star – who is engaged to Liam Hemsworth – for supporting the LGBTQ+ community and animal cruelty prevention work, he added: “And she’s so strong the way she stands up for LGBT rights and against animal cruelty, so I had a feeling she was probably a good person – but always, when you’re meeting someone who’s a superstar of that level you never know what to expect.”

Thank you to the Recording Academy for recognising our song Shallow from A Star is Born in four categories including Record and Song of the Year!

Bruno Tonioli brands Craig Revel Horwood ‘bitter’

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruno Tonioli has branded Craig Revel Horwood “bitter”.
The Italian ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge has addressed claims the panto star called him an “attention seeker” and has insisted Craig is simply “jealous” he’s “more popular”.
He told The Sun newspaper: “There’s more than a hint of bitterness there.
“He’s trying to create some attention for himself. He’s jealous I’m more popular than him.”
The 63-year-old dance expert also dismissed Craig’s comments saying he is “tight” with his money, claiming he treated him to an extravagant birthday meal at London’s world famous The Ivy restaurant.
He added: “And tight? I paid for him and Bananarama at The Ivy for my birthday party, so he can’t say that.
“I bought a meal for him and his boyfriend at The Ivy and he must have drunk 20 bottles of rosé.”
Though he and Craig don’t always agree, Bruno says the current judging panel – completed by head judge Shirley Ballas and Dame Darcey Bussell – is the “best”.
He said: “We’re like the Spice Girls. We all have different traits in our personality and we just work that angle.
“Craig is the evil, bitter pantomime dame.
“Darcey is just gorgeous, she’s The Lady. And Shirley is the school mistress.
“They call me the jester who never quite knows what is going to come out.”
Bruno also quipped that he’s nearly wiped Shirley out several times with his flamboyant and erratic arm gestures, after admitting she has the most “dangerous” job in television sitting next to him.
He joked: “I’ve nearly decapitated her a few times.
“She’s now got her ducking and diving down to a T.”
He said previously: “I think poor Shirley has the most dangerous job in TV. I think she’s got almost decapitated quite a few times.
“The reason [it’s happening more] is this series is probably one of the most exciting we’ve ever had. It’s so wonderful seeing the competitors always deliver such exciting performances, I can’t help but express myself physically. Poor Shirley, she’s a specialist in diving and ducking!”

James Cameron has no plans to retire

OHMYGOSSIP — James Cameron won’t retire.
The ‘Avatar’ director is as passionate as ever about making movies and can’t see himself slowing down unless he’s physically unable to work, though his career is no longer the most important thing in his life.
Writing in Empire magazine, he stated: “The bug is still there. The only thing that’s going to stop me from making films is getting hit by a cement truck or the inevitable march of time.
“But I think now I have Hollywood more in perspective. There was a time when making a film was the most important thing in the world to me.
“Now, it’s not. It’s a thing I love to do. But I know how important my family is, and some of my activities around food and sustainable agriculture and exploring are equally important.”
The 64-year-old director – who has a daughter with fourth wife Linda Hamilton and two children with current spouse Suzy Amis – thinks his outlook is “very healthy”.
He added: “So I have it in perspective and that’s a very, very healthy place to be. Otherwise, you can be bruised and damaged psychologically by Hollywood in general.”
The ‘Titanic’ filmmaker admits his wife wishes he worked less but he feels frustrated when he takes a day off.
He explained: “I have enough of a work ethic that it’s not like I’m ever phoning it in or slacking off. My schedule is as intense now as it ever was. And I like that just fine.
“I don’t know what to do with myself if I have a day off, so I just work continuously.
“I think my wife would prefer that I took a little time off from time to time, but I get nervous and pace around and think about all the things I could be doing, so it doesn’t really work for me.”

Busted wish they’d ‘taken more control’ early in their career

OHMYGOSSIP — Busted wish they had “taken more control” of their careers during their first stint in the spotlight.
The ‘Year 3000’ hitmakers reformed in 2016, 11 years after going their separate ways and though they have fond memories of their early days the trio – Charlie Simpson, Matt Willis and James Bourne – wish they’d been more involved in decision making.
Matt told OK! magazine: “I look back on Busted with a fond, warm feeling but there are elements of the production and marketing that p***ed me off.
“We were only 18 and 16 when we met. Busted [were] awesome but then we made Charlie leave. We should have taken more control over our band.”
James has reflected on the fallout of the group’s split in ‘What Happened To Our Band’, a track on their new LP ‘Half Way There’ – which was originally used on McBusted’s self-titled album in 2016 – and revealed he actually wrote the song a long time ago.
He said: “Yeah, I wrote it not long after Busted broke up. It was about the lady who worked in Tesco who always used to ask me that question every time I went to do my shopping.”
Meanwhile, the ‘What I Go To School For’ singers are very proud of their new album.
Matt said: “We went around the houses and came back to what we do best. We’ve made the record we always wanted to make. It’s the Busted album we always wanted to make.”
James added: “The ‘Bested’ record.”

Mick Jagger splits from Noor Alfallah

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Mick Jagger has split from Noor Alfallah after three years together.
The 75-year-old Rolling Stones frontman was first reported to have enjoyed a number of dates with the 23-year-old film producer, who is 52-years his junior, while the group were in Paris, France, for their ‘No Filter’ tour last October.
According to the Daily Mail, Noor has seemingly swapped the ‘Satisfaction’ singer for Mick doppelgänger, 57-year-old billionaire Nicolas Berggruen, who she first met in April in New York, when she was still said to be dating Mick.
In August, Noor shared a picture with her “partner in crime” Nicolas on instagram to mark his birthday.
She wrote alongside the snap: “Happy Birthday Nicolas! My partner in crime! Wishing you many more to come! So happy I get to celebrate with you! (sic)”, along with the kissing face emoji.
A source had previously said of Mick and Noor’s romance: “Mick still has his legendary charm but even the band were surprised someone as young and beautiful as Noor came to Paris to see him.
“They are both single and seemed to have a lot of fun together, so everyone just let them get on with it.”
The pair are believed to have been introduced to one another by producer Brett Ratner.
Mick, who is single again, split from ballerina Melanie Hamrick, the mother of his eighth and youngest child, two-year-old Deveraux, in 2016, before welcoming their little boy.
The veteran rocker’s turbulent love life has been far from conventional, with his former wife Bianca Jagger getting caught having sex with actor Ryan O’Neal, whilst still married to Mick, who she split from in 1978.
And in 2014, the ‘Paint It Black’ hitmaker tragically lost his long-term partner L’Wren Scott to suicide after 13 years together.

Saoirse Ronan reveals impact New York has had on her

OHMYGOSSIP — Saoirse Ronan thinks New York has made her more “open and outgoing” as a person.
The ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ actress loves the “serenity” of going back to her family in Ireland but she revealed she also relishes the “independence” she has in the Big Apple, which she thinks is a very exciting city.
In an interview with Psychologies magazine, she said: “Even though I was born in the Bronx, I grew up in Ireland in County Galway and I enjoy going back because it’s where I feel at home. There’s a serenity there that I can’t find anywhere else.
“But I also enjoy being in New York, which is where I really began to enjoy my independence and not have my mum do everything for me.
“Living in New York, getting to experience the different cultures and being part of the excitement of that city has been important to me. Being there has helped me become more open and outgoing, compared to before, when I was living a sheltered kind of life. I’ve matured a lot lately.”
The 24-year-old star may like the independence she has away from her mother, but she insisted her parent is still one of her “best friends” and a great role model.
She added: “[My mother and I] are more like best friends. She’s always been a role model for me and I have so much respect for her sense of dignity and integrity.

The former ‘Geordie Shore’ star also shared the quote by author R. H. Sin: “She is strong but she is tired.”

She wrote: “The worst thing is not the lies, the betrayal, the constant pain or crippling humiliation, or the resounding heartbreak that hurts so much I swear it is physical not emotional, the worst thing is that the person who made you feel so special yesterday can make you feel so truly low and unwanted today.

“As always, THANKYOU for your warmth and kindness. I do not deserve it. (sic)”

Ellie Bamber’s job strains relationships

OHMYGOSSIP — Ellie Bamber’s career has put a “strain” on her relationships.
The 21-year-old actress – who is dating ‘Bodyguard’ actor Richard Madden – spent six weeks away in Brazil shooting ‘The Seven Sorrows of Mary’ and admitted her absence can be tough on her loved ones, but things are always fine again once they get chance to reconnect.
In an interview with the new issue of Red magazine, she said: “Being away puts a strain on family and friends, but my best friends came [to the ‘Nutcracker and the Four Realms’ premiere] and, even though I hadn’t seen some of them in ages, we just picked up where we left off.”
But despite being away from her loved ones a lot, Ellie always gets to spend a lot of time with her mother, as she’s also her manager.
She added: “It means we make time to see each other and she’s always got my back.”

“I don’t acknowledge it, I don’t really feel I am famous in any way.”
Boyfriend Richard starred in ‘Bodyguard’ – one of the year’s biggest TV shows – and he and Ellie enjoyed watching it back together.
She admitted: “We watched it together at his house.”
Despite a very successful year herself, the ‘Les Miserables’ actress feels she is still “learning”.

Jack Fincham breaks silence on ‘dog custody battle’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Fincham appears to have got “custody” of the dog he shares with ex-girlfriend Dani Dyer.
The ‘Love Island’ winners are said to be in a battle over who gets to keep their adorable bulldog Sandy, following their split, and, for the time being at least, it appears the sweet pup has been taken in by the former salesman.
Sharing a picture of Sandy chilling on his sofa with her tongue hanging out on his Instagram Story on Friday night, Jack wrote: “Tongue out soundo (sic)”
The post also marks the first time the hunk has shared anything on social media since they announced they had called time on their relationship after just sixth months together.
A source told The Sun Online of their custody battle: “Jack adores Sandy and thinks he should be the one to get full time custody of her. Dani is an absolute softie though and while Jack does spend more time with the dog, she adores Sandy. They’ve had a couple of tense chats about her and now it’s at a bit of a stalemate. Hopefully they’ll be able to work something out so they can both still see her, but it’s more than likely the dog will end up with Jack. Unless Dani really kicks up a stink.”
The pair bought the mutt in October and jokingly even called her their first “baby” when they took her home to their plush London flat.
However, their love has not lasted and Dani – whose dad is ‘EastEnders’ actor Danny Dyer – broke the news to her fans in an Instagram post that she and Jack are no longer item.
Dani wrote: “Jack and I have sadly decided to part ways. It’s been an incredible six months, and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but we’ve sadly come to the realisation that it’s not meant to be long term. We both plan to stay friends. I hope you’ll all understand. Love Dani x.”

Ariana Grande gets tattooed with 93-year-old Nonna

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande celebrated her Billboard Woman of the Year Award by getting tattooed with her 93-year-old grandmother.
The ‘thank u, next’ hitmaker’s ‘Nonna’ – the Italian for grandma – Marjorie Grande braved the tattoo gun on her delicate skin to get the word “Ciccio” inked on the inside of her left ring finger as a touching tribute to Ariana’s late grandfather – and Nonna took the pain like a pro.
In Ariana’s Instagram Story from the tattoo parlour, she said: “I feel fine.”
Quipping: “I’ve had a little bit more excitement than this! You don’t know what pain is!”
Once the tattoo was complete, the room – including the pop star’s brother Frankie – applauded Marjorie as Ariana’s excited dog Toulouse jumped on her lap.
The ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ singer – who already has an extensive collection of body art – also got inked by her usual tattoo artist Mira Mariah, adding a crescent moon, stars and the sun to her hand.
Mariah wrote alongside the ink on her profile on the photo-sharing app: “for the woman of the year. (sic)”
Ariana grew increasingly emotional during her acceptance speech at the ceremony on Thursday (06.12.18), admitting she’d had both the “best and the worst” year of her life.
The ‘God is a Woman’ hitmaker enjoyed great professional success over the last 12 months but has also been dealing with the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller and the breakdown of her engagement to Pete Davison, as well as the ongoing aftermath of a terrorist attack at her concert in May 2017, and she admitted she has “no idea” what she’s doing when it comes to her personal life.
Speaking as she picked up the honour at the Billboard Women In Music 2018 event in New York City, she said: “This is really special. I want to say that I find it interesting that this has been one of the best years in my career and one of, like, the worst years in my life.
“I’m just saying that because I feel like a lot of people would look at someone in my position right now, Woman of the Year, an artist that could be at her peak, reaching her, you know, whatever, and think, you know, ‘She’s really got her sh*t together, she’s really on it, she has got it all.’
“I do, but as far as my personal life goes, I really have no idea what the f**k I am doing.”
And the 25-year-old star admitted she has “no idea” what’s next in her life but she hopes she can learn to be kinder to herself.
Growing increasingly tearful, she added: “So yeah, it’s been a very conflicting one. I just want to say if you’re someone out there who has no idea what this next chapter is going to bring, you’re not alone in that.
“I look forward to hopefully learning to give some of the love and forgiveness that I have given away so frivolously and easily to men in the past to myself, hopefully, this year.
“I have everything that I ever dreamt of having. And as of late, I’ve discovered that it’s the things that I always had and the people I always had that still make me the happiest. So thank you so much.”

Liam Gallagher teases new music

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher has teased fans he’ll release new music before his acoustic gig in aid of homeless charity Shelter on December 13.
The former Oasis star is set to perform stripped back renditions of songs from his platinum-selling debut solo LP, ‘As You Were’, as well as the Britpop group’s classics at the intimate show at London’s Union Chapel next week.
However, the ‘Wall of Glass’ hitmaker has now sparked excitement among his 2.99 million Twitter followers, by announcing he’s got new music on the way after spending the week writing in Los Angeles with his “army of songwriters” – a nod to a dig he received from his bitter brother and former bandmate Noel Gallagher – on tracks for his second album produced by Greg Kurstin.
He wrote: “Biblical Wk in LA with my army of songwriters LG still got it x (sic)”
And when a fan asked: “Anything for Union Chapel?”, he replied: “Yeah.”
Meanwhile, Liam and Noel Gallagher are being lined up for Glastonbury 2019.
Although the warring brothers played the legendary UK festival with their band Oasis in 1995 and 2004, they are reportedly set to return as solo artists next year.
After Liam, 46, revealed he has already signed on, Noel, 51, said: “I would absolutely love to play Glastonbury next year.
I love that festival but I’ll probably be fourth on the bill.”
However, Liam has accused his older sibling of “begging” for the gig.
He tweeted: “So I hear the beige boy is begging to play Glastonbury he doesn’t want to be going on bfore or after me as I’ll embarrass him as you were LG x (sic)”
Glastonbury Festival’s organiser Emily Eavis previously hailed Liam’s set last year on the Other Stage at the music extravaganza at Worthy Farm in Somerset, South West England, as “incredible”
Emily – who chooses the acts with her father Michael Eavis – said: “We love Liam, did you see his crowd last year in the Other Stage field?
Incredible.”

Emily Blunt shot Mary Poppins Returns at Buckingham Palace

OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Blunt filmed some of ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ at Buckingham Palace.
The 35-year-old actress has revealed she worked in some “mega-London locations” while filming the highly-anticipated sequel to the classic 1964 musical ‘Mary Poppins’.
Emily recalled filming the routine for ‘Trip A Little Light Fantastic’ at the world-famous landmark – the home to Queen Elizabeth – and the actress insisted the only people allowed to film at the royal residence are iconic British characters “James Bond and Mary Poppins”.
She told RadioTimes: “We had mega-London locations. The shot starts with us outside the palace. It was night shoot and they got 300 BMX riders, who can do unbelievable tricks.
“I’m on a bike that has a ladder on the back and I’m seemingly cycling without having to peddle. Sidesaddle of course.
“And they did that by having a green screen car driving my bike that they erased afterwards.
“I think the only people who have ever been allowed to film at Buckingham Palace are James Bond and Mary Poppins. I guess those are the two names that can get you in.”
The Hollywood actress – who has daughters Hazel, four, and two-year-old Violet with husband John Krasinski – admitted that despite her musical experience working on the 2014 musical adventure film ‘Into The Woods’, preparing for this legendary role was extremely rigorous.
She said: “It was more familiar to me this time because I had moved aside that boulder fear on ‘Into The Woods’.
“This was a different animal I worked on the songs for months prior, with the songwriters when I was heavily pregnant.
“So by the time we got to rehearsals, I’d already been living with these wonderful songs for six months. It was a wonderful comforting process and I didn’t feel thrown in at the deep end.”
