OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Redknapp didn’t tell son Jamie Redknapp he was going on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ because he would’ve been “told off”.
The 45-year-old former footballer revealed last night (09.11.18) – ahead of his father’s win – that he didn’t even know the 71-year-old football manager was going to appear on the show until he read the story in a newspaper.
And Harry later told Jamie he had kept quiet about the news for fear the former Liverpool star would’ve tried to talk him out of it.
Speaking to Roman Kemp backstage at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Coca-Cola, Jamie said: “It’s bizarre. I must admit.
“I remember about a week, well 10 days before he was going in to the jungle, I picked up the paper and it said, ‘Harry Redknapp’s going to go in,’ I thought, ‘Oh what a great story, I’ll ring my dad and tell him.’
“I said, ‘Dad have you seen this?’ He went, ‘I’m doing it!’
“He said, ‘You would have told me off.’
“I said, ‘I wouldn’t tell you off,’ I just would have had a conversation to say, ‘Look, do you think it’s the right thing to do?’
“But, look, its 100 per cent been the right thing to do. He’s loved it. I mean he’s surprised me how brave he’s been.
“Every challenge he’s just gone in there and thought, ‘I gotta do this, I gotta do it for the team, I gotta win all the stars.’ ”
The Sky Sports pundit said fans have been coming up to him in public and praising his dad for his genuine and loving personality.
Jamie said: “Going to watch my boy play football today, all people coming up to me and say is, ‘We love your dad, we love your mum, they’re so real, they’re so nice.’
“And that’s really heart-warming because they’re my parents and I adore them but it’s nice for other people to see them in that light.”
Harry triumphed during Sunday night’s (09.12.18) finale to become the new King of The Jungle.

Tom Felton’s hot dog dilemma

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Harry Potter’ star Tom Felton is confused about whether a hot dog can be classed as a sandwich.
On occasions, the 31-year-old actor – famous for portraying Draco Malfoy in the magical movie franchise, based on J.K. Rowling’s book series – enjoys the meaty snack, which is comprised of a grilled or steamed sausage placed inside a bun that is sliced down the middle.
Although the light meal has a meat filling and bread, the main components of a sandwich, it is eaten facing up unlike a traditional sarnie which has two slices of bread separately placed on the top and bottom of the filling and Tom is confused as to what food category it falls in.
Speaking to food and pop culture website The Takeout, he was asked whether a hot dog is a sandwich, prompting him to reply: “Instinctive answer? Absolutely not … It’s [a hot dog’s] sideways. If anything, it’s more of a wrap. Like a bread wrap.”
Tom then clarified that although he can understand why some menu items, like burgers and lobster rolls, can be considered sandwiches he thinks unless a meal contains the term ‘sandwich’ in its name then its sandwich credentials should be dismissed.
He explained: “Technically, to me, a burger’s not really a sandwich, but it is, because you’ve got bread on top, bread on the bottom … I’m saying that something that’s called a sandwich is called a sandwich, and if it’s called something else, then it’s not a sandwich … I’ve never had a lobster roll, so I can’t really say, but it’s a roll, it’s called a roll!”

I’m A Celebrity final attracts 12.1m viewers

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ final peaked with 12.1 million viewers.
The finale of the popular ITV reality show – which was won by football manager Harry Redknapp – attracted the huge peak audience last night (09.12.18), which was the highest peak of the series, and a 10.9 million average.
Sunday’s series conclusion saw an increase of 1.7 million viewers compared to last year’s final, and the highest rating final since 2013.
Series 18 – co-hosted by Dec Donnelly and Holly Willoughby – has averaged 9.1 million viewers based on overnight ratings data, and according to consolidated data, the series averaged 12.2 million viewers, making it the highest rating season in the show’s history.
The ITV show had a strong start with the series premiere pulling in 11 million viewers in overnight ratings – a higher viewing figure than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding broadcast.
On Sunday, millions gathered to watch Harry be crowned the new King of The Jungle during the finale, with Emily Atack taking second place and John Barrowman finishing third.
After winning, Harry revealed that he was surprised by how well he bonded with his campmates because he felt out of place in the group upon first impressions.
He said: “When I first came in, I looked and I thought, ‘Oh my God, I’m in trouble here.’ I looked at the group and I thought, they don’t really know or are interested in anything I’m interested in.
“They’re the most lovely people I’ve ever met, the whole group.
“There wasn’t one person I could ever say one single bad word about. They were amazing. Without them, I would never have survived.
‘Inbetweeners’ star Emily said the football manager was “a worthy winner”.

Cardi B hits back at accusations of publicity seeking

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B has rubbished the suggestion she’s split from Offset in a bid to gain publicity.
The New York-born rap star – who has five-month-old daugther Kulture with Offset – has taken to her Instagram Live to hit out at claims that their split has been contrived in order to generate interest in their relationship.
Cardi said: “Y’all gotta understand, there’s a kid involved. Ain’t no type of publicity that I would ever want that would have my daughter looking at me crazy when she get older.
“I just really hate how people say we trying to do this for publicity. Think we want to put our life out there for what – what we gain from publicity? Nothing. Why would you f***ing think that I would put my f***ing family in some bull***t. I have my heart on my sleeve right now, you know what I’m saying?”
Cardi, 26, has also rubbished the suggestion that their relationship was never authentic to begin with.
The rapper – who married Offset in 2017 – explained: “I’ve been seeing a lot of people say that my relationship was fake. B***h, there’s certain things called love.
“People do fall in love. Like my relationship was never fake … I gave him a chance and we fell in love with each other. But we never did anything for publicity, b***h.”
Meanwhile, Cardi recently admitted that she and Offset just “grew out of love”.
However, the chart-topping rap star also insisted they are still “really good” friends and business partners.
She said: “We are really good friends and we are really good business partners.
“You know, he’s always somebody that I run to to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.
“It’s nobody fault I guess we just grew out of love but we are not together anymore. I don’t know, it might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen thinks the internet has changed her life.
The 33-year-old model – who has kids Luna, two, and six-month-old Miles with husband John Legend – has admitted that her use of Twitter and other social media platforms has changed the public’s perception of her.
She shared: “Guys have always come up to me since I did Sports Illustrated. But now, they all say the same thing: ‘My girlfriend loves you.’ And I couldn’t be happier.”
Chrissy also claimed that one of the keys to her relationship with John – who is one of the world’s best-selling musicians – is their contrasting personalities.
The high-profile duo have been married since 2013 and Chrissy feels that in many ways, they are the perfect foils for each other.
Speaking to Elle UK magazine, she explained: “He’s quieter than me, which isn’t saying much. But he’s more thoughtful, whereas I’m spur of the moment.
“I can’t hide things very well. If I feel it, you’ll see it on my face, but he’s better at covering. I was never that big into music. Still to this day, I’m very Top 40. And I’m more emotion-based than him. I can see everybody’s side of an argument.”
Meanwhile, Chrissy recently hailed stand-up comedian Yassir Lester as the funniest person on Twitter.
The model revealed she considers Yassir to be the most humorous person she follows on the micro-blogging platform, but she also joked that he’s “extremely forgettable”.
Chrissy – who has more than ten million followers – tweeted: “interviews often ask me who the funniest person I follow on twitter is. I NEVER remember to say him, but the answer is @yassir_lester. so what I’m saying is he is very funny but also extremely, extremely forgettable (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sofia Richie is reportedly determined to avoid any “drama” with Kourtney Kardashian.
The 20-year-old model – who is dating Scott Disick, Kourtney’s ex-boyfriend and the father of her three children – is eager to maintain a good relationship with the reality TV star and she is trying her best to manage the potentially awkward dynamic.
An insider shared: “There has been and will continue to be things with Scott’s family life that bother Sofia, but she is trying to just deal without causing drama. She loves Scott and wants to be with him.”
Kourtney and Scott are parents to Mason, eight, Penelope, six, and Reign, three.
And Sofia is said to be “getting better at handling Scott’s family situations in a mature way”.
The source told People: “She knows she will always be kind of the outsider, but she loves being around Scott and his kids.”
Sofia accepts that she and Kourtney, 39, will never be best friends, but she is pleased that they have managed to develop some sort of relationship over recent years.
The insider explained: “She knows that Kourtney isn’t her biggest fan and she understands that. Sofia and Kourtney will never be best friends, but Sofia is happy that she has proved to Kourtney that she is great with her kids.

Meanwhile, Sofia – who is the daughter of music star Lionel Richie – previously insisted that while she doesn’t crave interest in her personal life, it’s something she’s learned to deal with.

OHMYGOSSIP — Shirley Ballas has defended Ashley Roberts over ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ criticism.
The former Pussycat Dolls pop star – who has faced the dreaded dance off three weeks in a row – has come under fire from some viewers who have pointed to her previous experience as a performer, claiming it gives her an advantage over other contestants.
However, the 58-year-old judge argued: “She’s not a professional ballroom or Latin dancer, and she’s had to learn those ropes like anybody else.
“She has a great ear for music, and when you have a great ear for music, choreographic patterns can be so much easier because you can choreograph to words as well as numbers.
“I would say that’s the part her and [Faye Tozer] do extremely well. But she’s had to learn it, she puts hours and hours in like anyone else.”
Shirley was speaking ahead of this weekend’s final, which will see Ashley and Steps star Faye battle it out with Stacey Dooley and Joe Sugg for the chance to claim the Glitterball Trophy.
Experienced dancer Shirley praised the ballroom competition as a whole for its variety, and said every star brings something different to the dance floor.
Appearing on ITV’s ‘Loose Women’, she added: “I think that’s why we have this kind of show. Everybody brings something different to the table … everybody has their journey, and at the end of the day it will be down to the public to pick the winner.”
Shirley also opened up about the apology she received from fellow judge Craig Revel Horwood after he claimed that her “fake boobs” were “hanging out” during her ‘Strictly’ audition.
She said: “He was very gracious, very cordial, very gentlemanly.
“He sent me the most beautiful big bouquet of flowers.
“I do believe he’ll be one of my best friends until the day I kick my clogs, he’s wonderful. It was a small slip, and who doesn’t make slips?”

Jon Sen to work under Kate Oates as new EastEnders exec producer

OHMYGOSSIP — Jon Sen has joined ‘EastEnders’ as executive producer.
The 45-year-old TV and film helmer, who is currently a story producer and director on ‘Casualty’, will work on the BBC One soap under Senior Executive Producer Kate Oates, and he “can’t wait” to get started.
He said: “‘EastEnders’ has been a huge part of my life since I was a kid and has given us some of the most iconic TV water-cooler moments in living memory so I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Kate [Oates] and the amazing ‘EastEnders’ team at this exciting time in the show’s history.
“I can’t wait to get started in bringing bold, unmissable, state-of-the-nation stories to a new generation of EastEnders fans.”
Jon is no stranger to ‘EastEnders’ after penning scripts for the soap in 2014 and 2015, and he previously directed Tamzin Outhwaite – who plays Mel Owen on the show – in 2004 TV film ‘Frances Tuesday’.
He also has directing credits on former BBC school drama ‘Waterloo Road’, BBC Four’s ‘Stan’, and Channel 4 drama ‘Second Generation’.
Former ‘Coronation Street’ and ‘Emmerdale’ boss Kate – who oversees the running of the soap, and medical dramas ‘Casualty’ and ‘Holby City’ – is also looking forward to teaming up with Jon to create some “unmissable drama”.
She said: “Jon’s background in writing, directing and story producing makes him a really exciting appointment for ‘EastEnders’.
“I’m looking forward to working alongside him to create some unmissable drama in Walford.”
Former ‘EastEnders’ exec producer John Yorke has been the soap’s executive consultant since November 2017, while the programme’s last exec producer was Sean O’Connor, who departed the role in June 2017 after one year at the helm.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lisa Armstrong has appeared to confirm she has been “axed” from ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.
The 42-year-old make-up artist, who has spent 10 years working on the reality programme, has admitted she is “not really sure what to say” following the decision.
It has been reported by the Daily Mirror newspaper that Lisa was axed from the show amid her ex Ant McPartlin returning to co-host the programme next year after he took some time off from work commitments following a drink-driving conviction earlier this year and a stint in rehab.
Fans and friends have flooded Lisa with support following reports of her shock dismissal from the show, and the cosmetic expert has revealed her true feelings towards her exit.
One friend wrote on Twitter: “How unjust, any decent bloke would have said he wouldn’t want your career to be compromised, there’s bigger and better things for you lovely!!! (sic) ”
Replying to the tweet, Lisa wrote: “Thanks Em, not really sure what else to say.”
Another pal wrote: “Sorry like @lisaAmakeup being axed is just bloody ridiculous !! Why should she be punished ?! (sic)”
Lisa replied: “Exactly hun x (sic)”
One Twitter user tweeted Lisa saying: “I really hope it was your decision to move on to better projects (sic)”
But she wrote back: “Nope”
One fan tweeted: “Feel so sorry for @lisaAmakeup she’s been through so much and now to axe her from #bgt is bulls**t. So unfair when she hasn’t done anything wrong. I haven’t met you but you just seem like the loveliest person ever xx (sic)”

A show insider told the publication: “Although everyone is very fond of Lisa, it was clearly untenable to carry on working together.
“Ant and Dec are two of the most senior people on the show, sometimes these tough decisions have to be made.”
Ant – who was married to Lisa for 12 years prior to their divorce earlier this year – is said to be heading back to work on the talent show to film auditions alongside his presenting partner Dec Donnelly next month.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Ant has completed his recovery and ITV has decided he is ready to be back at work for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ filming, which starts next month.
“It’s been an incredible difficult two-year period but he has been entirely focused on turning his life around in order to return to work.
“ITV is very excited about Ant and Dec being reunited – but Ant’s recovery has been everyone’s first priority.”

The 41-year-old actor claims the ‘Love Island’ winners have not broken up after six months of dating, branding the news “b******s”, and says his 22-year-old daughter was simply “a bit emotional” when she made the decision to announce the couple had gone their separate ways, insisting the pair are “sweet as”.
Speaking on this Saturday’s (15.12.18) episode of ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, the ‘EastEnders’ actor says: “I just want to put something to bed. Dani hasn’t split up with Jack, that’s all b******s, that is.
“Jon, they’ve had a row. They’ve had a row, she’s got a bit emotional and I think she has whacked that [message] up and immediately regretted it. You know what women are like.
“I’m just saying she got a little bit irate, screaming and shouting, the ultimate way to punish him maybe. I don’t know what was going on but I can tell you now, they’re sweet.”
Jonathan attempts to clear up the situation, asking: “So we can establish then, Jack and Dani are definitely back together?”
Danny replies: “They’re sweet as. They’ve had a little argument as we all do, we all have tear ups.
“Don’t declare nothing to the world, I’ve told her this. That was my bit of fatherly advice. It is okay, it is all sweet.”
This news comes after Dani released a statement on her Instagram Stories, declaring that she and the former pen salesman had broken up.
In a statement posted on the social media site, Dani wrote: “Jack and I have sadly decided to part ways.
“It’s been an incredible six months, and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but we’ve sadly come to the realisation that it’s not meant to be long term. We both plan to stay friends. I hope you’ll all understand. (sic)”

Sarah Hyland had suicidal thoughts due to secret health battle

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Hyland felt suicidal before undergoing second kidney transplant.
The ‘Modern Family’ star’s body rejected the organ from the initial transplant – donated by her father – and a doctor confirmed it had stopped functioning after the actress suffered fatigue, infections and fevers.
Sarah revealed to Life magazine that attempts to treat her – including going on dialysis for the first time – also caused her to suffer from ill health until February last year, when her younger brother Ian was found to be a match and willing to donate.
However, she explained: “When a family member gives you a second chance at life, and it fails, it almost feels like it’s your fault. It’s not.
“But it does. For a long time, I was contemplating suicide, because I didn’t want to fail my little brother like I failed my dad… I had gone through [my whole life] of always being a burden, of always having to be looked after, having to be cared for.”
In September 2017, the 28-year-old star ultimately underwent the second transplant, having met boyfriend Wells Adams just three days earlier and she thinks her issues have only made them stronger.
She added: “He’s seen me at my worst. I think that’s why I feel the most beautiful in his eyes, because he still finds me beautiful after seeing all that.”
While neither Sarah – who also recently lost her 14-year-old cousin when she died in an alleged motor vehicle homicide – nor Ian have suffered complications following the transplant, she has still had a tough time with her health.
She has been battling endometriosis, and also had an abdominal hernia, leading to two surgeries just weeks apart.
However, she said: “I’m stable. I’m thriving. I’m super happy with life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gisele Bundchen feels “so lucky” to be a mother.
The 38-year-old supermodel took to Instagram over the weekend to heap praise on her son Benjamin Rein – whom she has with her husband Tom Brady – as he celebrated his ninth birthday, saying she’s blessed to be a mother to her brood.
Posting a picture of herself and Benjamin enjoying a hug, she wrote: “His smile just melts my heart! Today is his day and I feel so lucky to be his mummy. Happy birthday sweet angel. You are so loved. #infinitelove #myboyboy (sic)”
She then repeated the same message in her native Spanish.
Gisele wasn’t the only one to post on social media for her son’s birthday either, as sports star Tom took to Instagram to post a picture of the boy fishing by a lake.
He wrote alongside the snap of his son: “Our sweet Benny, 9 years ago you were born and what a blessing you have been. You are such a beautiful, loving, sweet son that we always knew you would be! We are lucky parents to have you in our life and you always put a smile on everyone’s face when you are around! First present is some bigger boxing gloves because I can’t take those shots anymore!”
The couple’s cute posts come just days after their six-year-old daughter Vivian also celebrated her birthday, when they also shared equally heartfelt messages on social media.
Gisele wrote: “Today is her day! My little sunshine that brightens my every day! There are no words to express how much I love you! #infinitelove #mygirlygirl (sic)”
Whilst Tom added: “Happy Birthday Vivi! You have blessed us with the best 6 years of our life! You are a gift to all of us and we love you so much! If anyone knows where I can buy a unicorn please help me out. (sic)”

The ‘Malibu’ hitmaker and the 22-year-old model – who recently changed her name to Hailey Bieber following her marriage to Justin Bieber – were close friends as children, and Miley has admitted she and Hailey’s older sister Alaia would be “evil” to the blonde beauty.
She said: “I would be evil to [Hailey]. She would try to play with us, like me and Alaia [Baldwin, Hailey’s older sister], and then we would lock her out of the room and be evil.”
But the 26-year-old singer defended her past actions, and said being mean to Hailey as children set her up to be “stronger” in the face of Internet trolls now that she’s famous.
Miley added: “I had to. It made you who you are, you know? It made you stronger. Now you can always take, like, the trolls and s**t. ‘Cause I was such a troll.”
And Hailey agreed, crediting Miley with making sure she knew how to handle herself in the spotlight.
Speaking in an episode of Apple Music’s ‘Carpool Karaoke: The Series’ – which is a spin-off of the popular segment featured in ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ – alongside her best friend Kendall Jenner, Hailey said: “Miley was the biggest troll to me. She prepared me for this industry!”
Meanwhile, Hailey recently revealed she “can’t wait” to start a family with her ‘Sorry’ hitmaker husband Justin, 24, after tying the knot this year.

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Fox thinks she’d be “victim-shamed” if she was to come forward with her own #MeToo experiences.
The 32-year-old actress has claimed the reason she hasn’t joined the dozens of women speaking out about alleged sexual misconduct in Hollywood is because she thinks she’d be painted as an “unsympathetic victim”.
She said: “I didn’t speak out for many reasons. I just didn’t think based on how I’d been received by people, and by feminists, that I would be a sympathetic victim.
“I thought if ever there were a time when the world would agree that it’s appropriate to victim-shame someone, it would be when I came forward with my story.”
The ‘Transformers’ star claims she has “quite a few stories” involving sexual misconduct that she could tell, but insisted she wouldn’t be commenting on them in public as she doesn’t believe it’s her “job to punish someone” for their past actions.
She added: “I don’t feel it’s my job to punish someone because they did something bad to me. I’m not the universal hammer of justice.”
But although she might not be speaking out about her past, Megan is determined to raise her sons – Noah, six, Bodhi, four, and Journey, two, all of whom she has with husband Brian Austin Green – to respect women.
Speaking to The New York Times newspaper, she said: “I’m the window through which they see all women now. I’m the introduction to the divine feminine. And if they feel safe with me as the main woman in their life, it’s likely they’ll feel safe with women in general. If they see their father being respectful of me, it’s likely that’s what they’ll think all men should do.
“It sounds simple, but it’s probably not.”

The 46-year-old actress struck up a relationship with the CEO in October this year amid the finalisation of her divorce from Ben Affleck – with whom she has Violet, 12, Seraphina, nine, and Samuel, six – but it has now been claimed the pair have taken a step back, as Jennifer isn’t “ready for anything too serious” right now.
A source said: Jen has slowed things down with John Miller since the word got out they were dating. Jen’s children, career and Ben [Affleck] are her main focus at the moment and she is not ready for anything too serious.”
The ‘Peppermint’ star has reportedly told friends she “doesn’t want to be deeply committed” to anyone, as she’s too busy with her family and career, as well as being a helping hand to her ex-husband Ben, as he continues to recover following his admission into rehab earlier this year.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, the insider added: “Privately, she has told friends she doesn’t want to be deeply committed at the moment. She wants to focus on family, career and getting Ben back on track. She enjoys her time with John but she has concerns of moving too quickly because she doesn’t want to be disappointed. Her friends are in full support of her stepping back a bit because they all know relationships take a lot of work and right now her plate is full.
“She still communicates with Ben almost daily because his sobriety is so important, she wants be a strong support and he leans on her a lot. She truly is a great friend to him and an amazing mother.”
Jennifer and the ‘Justice League’ star – who tied the knot in 2005 – officially ended their marriage in November after first announcing their intention to file for divorce in 2015, two years before actually filing in April 2017.
A source said at the time: “Ben regrets so many of his actions in the past. He loves his family and knows his priority should have been them all along. The good news is that they work incredibly hard on keeping their family unit working for the children, despite the fact they are no longer married.”

Ellen Pompeo: My kids’ friends don’t think I’m their mother

OHMYGOSSIP — Ellen Pompeo says her children’s friends don’t think she’s their mother – because of the colour of their skin.
The 49-year-old actress has three children – daughters Stella, nine, and Sienna, four, as well as son Eli, who turns two this month – with her husband Chris Ivery, and has said she was left heartbroken when her eldest daughter’s friends were surprised to discover she was her mother, because the actress is white.
Ellen said: “My challenge with raising brown children is how much do you say to them and how much do you not say to them?
“A couple of weeks ago I had some friends over [to] the house, little girls of color, and the little girl came in and I introduced myself. I said, ‘I’m Stella’s mom.’ … She went right to Stella and said, ‘That’s your mom?’ She points to the nanny who’s a black girl [and says,] ‘I thought that was your mom.’ The little baby looked like she was scared of me. That just breaks my heart. Maybe scared is a strong word … but, again, non-trusting possibly.
“That experience of being in my house and meeting me was good for her to see that all white people aren’t what you think. As moms and dads, we have the responsibility to expose our children to all different types of people. To show them the differences in the world.”
The ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star says she knows her daughters will be treated differently because of the colour of their skin, but says her son – who, along with second daughter Sienna, was born via surrogacy – “looks completely white”.
Speaking during an appearance on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook Watch show ‘Red Table Talk’, she added: “My son looks completely white. You couldn’t even tell that he has any brown in him at all. There is no escaping when your skin is dark. That’s why my children are brown or whatever it is. Because the world will see them that way and they will be discriminated against and they will be judged and they will be spoken to and they will be treated like they are brown because their skin is brown.”
