Stephanie Pratt: Spencer isn’t ‘family’

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Pratt doesn’t consider her brother Spencer Pratt or his wife Heidi her “family” anymore.
The 32-year-old reality star admitted she isn’t on speaking terms with the couple – who have 18-month-old son Gunnar together – anymore but claimed she has no idea why they have a problem with her.
Speaking on her iHeartRadio ‘Pratt Cast’ podcast with Wells Adams, she said: “We are not on good terms. We are not on speaking terms. I do not consider them my family…
“This is me actually exiting my family. I’ve tried to be nice to her for 10 years because I love my brother. It never changes. They flip the switch on me and I have no idea. … None of it makes sense.”
Stephanie explained the latest drama between them happened during a recent photoshoot for upcoming reality show ‘The Hills: New Beginnings’.
She said: “We had our photo shoots for press and for the opening titles. We had three days of it that went to like 3 a.m. — they were long shoots. And Heidi had a bottle of champagne that she gave all the girls except for me.”
Asked if the 32-year-old star could have been worried about Stephanie’s drinking, she insisted: “I’m not an alcoholic.”
But the ‘Made in Chelsea’ star didn’t confront her sister-in-law at the time because of her parents.
She added: “That is the last time I’m putting my parents as the priority in front of this relationship…
“Before ‘The Hills: New Beginnings’, my mom, my brother and I all sat down and we said we will not let this ruin our family again”.
I’m done. I don’t care. I’m not protecting them anymore.
“I’m also not going to pretend that Spencer and Heidi are good people like I was doing for most of the series for my parents.”
While Stephanie insisted she is happy to have the “toxic” couple out of her life, she admitted she’ll miss her nephew.
She said: “Heidi doesn’t want Spencer to have a relationship with anyone but her. And you know what? That’s fine. I don’t want a relationship with Spencer anymore.
“Gunner, I will miss the fact that I’m going to miss out on the cutest, cutest, cutest little boy’s early years but it’s not worth it.”

Alexander Lincoln joins Emmerdale

OHMYGOSSIP — Alexander Lincoln has joined ‘Emmerdale’ as Kim Tate’s son.
The 25-year-old actor will star as Jamie Tate in the ITV soap, a character who was last seen on screens as a toddler in January 1999, but the trainee vet will be left “shocked” when he is reunited with his mother – played by Claire King – after being offered a job in the vets.
Alexander said: “Jamie is shocked. He doesn’t expect to see Kim at all, as he thinks she’s still in prison. Under the circumstances, it’s pure shock and a bit of frustration as he wanted to start a new life.
“Admittedly that was back in the village, but he wanted to stay away from Kim’s ways.”
While Jamie isn’t so sure about coming face-to-face with Kim, Alexander has praised Claire for being a “massive help” during his early days on the soap.
He said: “Claire is lovely and the ‘Emmerdale’ team are so wonderful. It’s such a welcoming environment to come into. I was told at my induction that everyone is really nice and I was like, ‘Everyone says that.’ But genuinely, everyone is so lovely.
“To come into the family, you’re welcomed straight away and Claire has been a massive help, holding my hand the whole way through.”
Alexander admits he was particularly “nervous” during his ‘Emmerdale’ call back, because he had been shooting a film until 1am the night before, and has thanked Claire for “walking [him] through” the process.
He added to Digital Spy: “At the time of auditioning for this, I was filming an LGBT rugby film.
“I got the call back for ‘Emmerdale’ and I had been filming until 1am the night before, so I was knackered. I was like, ‘Oh, I’m out of my depth already.’
“I didn’t know my lines at all, I had my script with me and I was sweating away, nervous. I owe it to Claire for walking me through and [‘Emmerdale’ director] Tim O’Mara, who directed the audition scene.”
Claire recently reprised her role as Kim after her week-long cameo last year, and she admitted soap work is much harder nowadays than it was during her first stint on the show from 1989 to 1999.
She said: “The process has changed so much. It’s a whirl, pretty intense.
“The hardest jobs in this business are pantomime and soap. It’s the slog, the grind, the day-in, day-out, learning so many lines, so many scenes.”

Ross Kemp heading to Belmarsh

OHMYGOSSIP — Ross Kemp will investigate life behind bars in one of Britain’s toughest jails for a new documentary series.
The 54-year-old star has been granted “unique access” to Belmarsh prison in South East London for the upcoming ITV show, which will focus on how the inmates are offered the chance to rehabilitate with an education in setting up their own businesses in order to create more opportunities for them when they are released.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “ITV have been granted unique access to Belmarsh.
“It holds some of the country’s most dangerous prisoners – the first time cameras have been into this prison in decades.
“A focus will be on innovative ways staff attempt to rehabilitate prisoners. They educate them in business and encourage entrepreneurialism.
“The aim is to create opportunities on the outside that will keep them straight long term.”
Ross will get the chance to speak with inmates – which include murderers, rapists, and terrorists – as well as staff working at the category A facility.
The insider added: “It will film Ross talking to inmates from petty thieves to hardened criminals and observe the staff, from officer to Governor.”
Wile Ross shot to fame as ‘EastEnders’ hardman Grant Mitchell – who he played in more than 1,000 episodes between 1990 and 2016 in three separate stints on the BBC One soap – he recently admitted he thinks he’s now more famous for his journalistic work than his acting.
When asked if he gets more ‘Grant’ shout outs than his own moniker, he said: “People in London don’t tend to shout anything because they’re all too cool and they’re all important. But I’ve been travelling all around the UK, and I have to say it’s now more Ross than it is Grant, but I don’t mind either way. Whether it’s Grant or whether it’s Ross it’s positive and I think that a lot of the documentaries that we’ve made people have enjoyed watching and hopefully they’ll continue to watch.”

Madonna to perform at Eurovision

OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna is to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest.
The ‘Material Girl’ hitmaker will reportedly take to the stage in Tel Aviv next month to perform two songs, a new track and a classic hit, at this year’s event, the European Broadcasting Union – which organises the contest – has confirmed to local news outlet Haaretz.
According to the website, Madonna had rowed with event producers over the song selection, due to the political content of the lyrics to the new track.
The 60-year-old singer is expected to be joined by a huge 160-person entourage, and the £750,000 cost of bringing her to Israel to perform at Eurovision will be picked up by billionaire businessman Sylvan Adams.
The performance will be Madonna’s fourth in Israel, having previously staged concerts in 1993, 2009 and 2012.
This year’s contest as been embroiled in controversy as producers previously warned the country’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, that he could impede preparations for the event if he did not come to a decision on the cost of security for the event.
As a result, last week the Prime Minister’s Office announced it would cover 1.5 million shekels (£320,000) of the security bill for Eurovision.
And in January, Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters led calls urging the BBC not to broadcast Eurovision.
The likes of Dame Vivienne Westwood, Peter Gabriel and Wolf Alice were among those who signed an open letter to the BBC urging the broadcaster to ask organisers to move the contest due to human rights concerns in Israel.
They wrote: “Eurovision may be light entertainment, but it is not exempt from human rights considerations…
“We cannot ignore Israel’s systematic violation of Palestinian human rights.
“The BBC is bound by its charter to ‘champion freedom of expression’. It should act on its principles and press for Eurovision to be relocated to a country where crimes against that freedom are not being committed.”
However, in response, the broadcaster insisted it wasn’t appropriate “to use the BBC’s participation for political reasons”.
They said: “Eurovision is not a political event and does not endorse any political message or campaign.
“The competition has always supported the values of friendship, inclusion, tolerance and diversity and we do not believe it would be appropriate to use the BBC’s participation for political reasons.
“Because of this we will be taking part in this year’s event. The host country is determined by the rules of the competition, not the BBC.”
The European Broadcasting Union also stressed the “non-political character of the event”.
Israel earned the right to host this year’s event after their entrant Netta won last year with the song ‘Toy’.

Kim Kardashian West’s sunglasses campaign aided by Kanye West

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West’s “clones” concept from her new sunglasses range came from Kanye West.
The 38-year-old reality star recently collaborated with German brand Carolina Lemke to launch an exclusive collection of shades, and Kim revealed her husband was heavily involved in the styling of the hundreds of replicas of her own face used in the promotional images.
She said: “We wanted to do the whole clones theme. [Kanye] loves helping out with the ad campaigns and stuff, overseeing like the clones and the longer hair. He was so stuck on having long hair only on one side … and I was like, all right, I haven’t seen that before.
“At first we made the mannequins and then we kind of wanted moving images … so then we also made face masks. As soon as I saw them I said, this is our press box. Like, it just clicked. I was like, this is what it has to be. I’ve never seen anything like it. I thought it was cute.”
And the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star admitted it was “nice” to be given full creative freedom on the collaboration.
Kim told Bustle: “It’s nice to have a company that will really listen to your direction, really wants to collaborate, and have me actually design everything from start to finish.”
Kim – who has sisters Kourtney, 39, Khloe, 34, Kendall Jenner, 23 and Kylie Jenner, 21 – created her different shades styles, which are named Dusk, Nirvana, Sahara and Tempest, with each of her family in mind.
She continued: “[Dusk is] like my everyday [style]. I can wear that anytime.I made the round ones [Indra] with Kourtney in mind, Kendall with the tiny [Dusk] in mind.
“Khloe, the big visor [Nirvana]. Khloe loves an aviator but we don’t have any aviators in the collection, so I would pick a visor [style]. Kylie, I would pick like the sporty [Sahara]. And then for me, I would pick [mirrored Tempest].”

Ozzy Osbourne ‘dislodged metal rods’ in body after nasty fall at home

OHMYGOSSIP — Sharon Osbourne has revealed husband Ozzy Osbourne “dislodged metal rods” in his body from a previous injury when he suffered a nasty fall at home.
The ‘Paranoid’ hitmaker was forced to postpone all of his ‘No More Tours II’ dates this year, after he had a “bad accident” in the night whilst recovering from flu which turned into pneumonia.
Speaking on Monday night’s (08.04.19) episode of US show ‘The Talk’, Sharon said: “Ozzy is… Oh, Lord, I don’t know where to begin, and I have to make this quick … He, at the beginning of the year, had a bad flu that went to bronchitis, that went to pneumonia.
“And then when he had the flu, he came out of hospital and he had a bad accident at home.
“He fell. And he fell in the middle of the night.”
The fall was made all the more painful as a pre-exisiting motorbike injury from 2004 – which saw Ozzy in a coma and require major surgery – was “re-injured” in the back, neck and his shoulders.
However, the 66-year-old star reassured viewers that the 70-year-old rocker is doing “good”.
The show’s host continued: “And years ago, previously, he had a motorbike accident, where he was in a coma for days. And what he’d done was he re-injured his back and neck and shoulders.
“And all of the metal rods and everything that were put in his body were dislodged. So we had to cancel his year events. But he’s good, he’s fine, he’s great.”
Sharon admitted Ozzy “feels terrible” for cancelling the shows, which will be rescheduled for February 2020.
She added: “He just feels terrible.
“He says it’s the only thing he’s ever done right in his life, his performing, and he just feels terrible.”
A tweet announcing the postponed shows on the former Black Sabbath star’s Twitter read: “OZZY will postpone all his tour dates as he recovers from injury sustained while dealing with pneumonia. Ozzy fell at his Los Angeles home aggravating years-old injuries (from his 2003 ATV accident) that required surgery.
Shows will be rescheduled beginning in Feb 2020 (sic)”
Ozzy first postponed dates of his ‘No More Tours 2’ tour when he was hospitalised for an infection in his hand last year.
After honouring those delayed dates, he was then taken to hospital again where he was diagnosed with a severe upper-respiratory infection, which forced him to push back the UK and European leg of his concert series.
Earlier this year, the ‘Crazy Train’ hitmaker landed himself in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to complications from the flu, but was released in mid-February to continue his recovery at home.
His wife Sharon Osbourne said at the time: “He’s doing great. He’s out of ICU and he’s doing great. He’s breathing on his own. I just want to say a huge thank you to everybody that has reached out with good wishes. He is overcome by the response that he’s had, and it’s kind of bittersweet because he’s overwhelmed with it, but he’s sad too.”

Claire Holt felt ‘broken and ashamed’ by miscarriage

OHMYGOSSIP — Claire Holt felt “broken and ashamed” after suffering a miscarriage.
The ‘Vampire Diaries’ star and her husband Andrew Joblon tragically lost their baby towards the end of the first trimester of pregnancy in March last year, and Claire has bravely opened up about her “intense” battle with “grief”.
Speaking to Mini magazine, she admitted: “Our journey certainly hasn’t been an easy one.
“When we decided that we wanted to try for a baby, we were lucky to conceive fairly quickly.
“I remember feeling so joyful and excited when two lines appeared on the pregnancy test early last year.
She continued: “Sadly, we lost the baby late in the first trimester.
“It was devastating and I felt broken and ashamed.
“Because I experienced such intense grief, I found it very difficult to process things and move on.
“Thankfully, we were blessed with another pregnancy around five months later.”
The 30-year-old actress struggled to “connect” with their son James, who was born 12 days ago, until she knew he was “genetically healthy” and she also suffered with “anxiety” when they fell pregnant again.
She said: “We were both so thrilled.
“I do remember feeling a lot of anxiety once the initial excitement wore off. “Because of the miscarriage, I didn’t want to get my hopes up.”
Claire added: “It was quite difficult to connect with the baby and I was on edge for most of the first semester.
“After we were told that the baby was genetically healthy, I allowed myself to relax a little, but it was certainly a different experience than the first time.”
The actress announced her pregnancy two months after the couple tied the knot in Beverly Hills, California, last August.
She wrote on Instagram: “My heart is bursting. I’m so happy to share with you that we are having a baby! It still doesn’t feel real. These past few months have been filled with excitement, anxiety, tears, joy, uncertainty but most of all gratitude. You never forget the deep pain of loss. It dims with time but it informs many of your experiences. Our loss earlier this year was the darkest moment of my life. Yet, it made me infinitely more thankful for the precious baby growing inside me today. I want to take a moment to acknowledge all those struggling with miscarriage, infertility or any of the difficulties that come with bringing new life into the world. I know that these announcements can hurt. I’ve felt it all. My heart is with you and I pray that our story gives you hope. Thank you all so much for your love and support – I can’t wait to share this journey with you.”

Shazam! writer Henry Gayden to return for sequel?

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘Shazam!’ sequel will reportedly see writer Henry Gayden return.
David F. Sandberg and Peter Safran – the respective director and producer of the latest DC Extended Universe film – recently confirmed they want to continue the story of Zachary Levi’s Billy Batson after his origin story which has just proved a major hit at cinemas.
When the pair were asked whether they were ready to take on a follow-up to ‘Shazam!’, Safran quickly replied: “Absolutely!”
Sandberg then enthused: “Let’s do it!”
And now, according to The Wrap, Gayden is already working out a deal to carry on the journey of 14-year-old Billy, who can magically transform into the adult superhero Shazam simply by shouting the word – an acronym of the ancient world gods and historical figures: Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles and Mercury – and uses his powers to defeat the evil Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong).
Meanwhile, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson recently teased he plans to start
his spin-off movie ‘Black Adam’ in “about a year”.
The 46-year-old actor – who served as an executive producer on ‘Shazam!’ – is playing Black Adam in an upcoming movie based upon the character, who is a recurring enemy of superhero Shazam in the comic book series.
Johnson has been developing the project for the past 10 years but he has just revealed that filming is set to begin in the next 12 months and he can’t wait to get started.
Speaking in an Instagram video, he said: “The challenges and the struggle that we were having and that was gnawing at my gut is that we were trying to tell two origin stories in one script.
“Those who know the comic books and the mythology of the comics of ‘Shazam!’ know that Shazam is connected to Black Adam.
“Black Adam is an anti-hero, or villain, who I cannot wait to play. I’ve been developing this, and it’s been with me and my DNA for over 10 years now. We should start shooting that in about a year. Very excited about that.”
Black Adam was originally slated to appear in the ‘Shazam!’ movie but Sandberg decided against making the character the main villain because he needed his own origin story and he wanted his film to be “about Shazam”.
The movie’s antagonist was Dr. Sivana.

Kevin Feige teases five-year plan for MCU

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Feige has confirmed Marvel Studios has a “five-year plan” but any further announcement would be a “spoiler”.
The company’s president has revealed the Marvel Cinematic Universe will continue beyond the release of ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ in July, but he explained that officially revealing any of the projects – including movies like ‘Black Widow’, ‘Black Panther 2’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ – would give too much away for ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
Asked if Marvel Studios would attend San Diego Comic-Con in July, he told IGN: “I don’t wanna be annoying, but I think it … In a certain way, that is also sort of a post-‘Endgame’ spoiler.
“I will say all of the post Comic-Con, post Spider-Man: Far From Home stuff, we … Here’s an exclusive. We’re gonna keep making movies. “We’re gonna still keep making movies after these two. And we will talk about them soon after ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ comes out.”
Fiege also explained that it was likely a long time until newly acquisitioned franchises like ‘X-Men’ and ‘Fantastic Four’ make their way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Disney purchased Fox.
When it was suggested it could be years away, he admitted: “Probably. Probably, only because, as you’ve heard me say before, until it was all done, we literally couldn’t do anything.
“So essentially, it’s sort of Day One. But during that time, we have built and fleshed out our five-year plan of where we’re heading, the first few years of which we’ll be announcing, as I said, relatively soon, after these next two movies.”
