Lucy Fallon’s boyfriend won’t propose ‘for a while’

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy Fallon’s boyfriend is thinking about buying an engagement ring – but he won’t pop the question for “a while”.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress’ significant other Tom Leech admits her cobbles co-stars are always asking him when he is going to get down on one knee, and while he isn’t planning to do so just yet, 23-year-old Lucy joked they are already “like an old married couple”.
Tom said: “I do get asked about when I’m planning to propose a lot when we’re out with Lucy’s co-stars.
“After a few drinks, it’s only a matter of time before one of them sidles up to me and says: ‘So…?’ and points at their ring finger with raised eyebrows.
“I need to get a ring first, though, and depending on what Lucy is expecting, that might be a while yet!”
Lucy added: “We’re like an old married couple already.”
Despite this, the pair are spending Christmas Day (25.12.18) apart from each other to be with their own families.
She said: “We’re both really close to our families so we don’t want to give up our own family Christmases until we absolutely have to, which is when we have kids I guess.”
While Lucy doesn’t appear to be planning to have children just yet, her ‘Corrie’ co-star Kym Marsh is to become a grandmother after recently revealing her daughter Emilie Cunliffe is expecting her first child.
And Lucy believes the 42-year-old Kym will be the “most glamorous granny”.
She added to OK! magazine: “I’m so excited, although Kym had let slip to me before the news was officially announced.
“Kym is going to be the most glamorous granny. I know her daughter Emilie as well and she’ll be an amazing mum.”

EastEnders script writer doesn’t exist

OHMYGOSSIP — One of EastEnders’ longest-serving script writers isn’t a real person.
The BBC One soap’s former executive producer Matthew Robinson has revealed Julia Honour, who has penned numerous scripts since 1998, is in fact a pseudonym used when one of the show’s chief scribes has to rewrite a “dreadfully poor” script.
He wrote: “‘Julia Honour’ was the authorship pseudonym appended to a script when a member of the editorial staff had to take over and completely rewrite a dreadfully poor – and thus unsaveable – early draft from a commissioned writer.
“The practice had started just before I joined and has, I believe (though I can’t swear to it) continued to this day.
“So far as I can tell, the lovely Julia has penned (saved) 54 scripts since early 1998. (sic)”
During his exec producer reign on the soap – which stars the likes of Steve McFadden as Phil Mitchell – Matthew came face-to-face with the other script writers before requesting a meeting with Julia only to find out she wasn’t actually real.
Writing on his blog Walford Web, he added: “The script editors I’d inherited smirked conspiratorially whenever I asked how soon I’d be exchanging pleasantries with this Spectral Scribbler. “Don’t ask.” they’d say. “You don’t want to know.”
“With many other things on my mind, I didn’t pursue it at first, particularly as the lovely Julia’s scripts weren’t half bad. In fact, they were pretty damned good. Certainly in the top 20% as far competence went.
“Then I noticed something odd. Julia Honour’s scripts always started with Draft 3 – Drafts 1 and 2 were always missing. (In those days, EE scripts went to up six drafts, all of which would arrive in an almost continuous flow of mind-numbing regularity, stacking up on a sturdy set of shelves just inside my office door.)
“Not being able to bear the suspense after a month or so, I cornered the Senior Editor and demanded she arrange a meeting for me with Ms Honour. Eyes to the floor, she admitted the truth. (sic)”
The name Julia Honour is thought to be a tribute to the show’s co-creator Julia Smith.

Emily Atack told by stranger to stop eating a burger

OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Atack was left shocked when a stranger advised her stop eating a burger and then told her: “Starvation suits you.”
The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ star shed half a stone during her time on the Australian jungle-based show after living on a diet of mainly rice and beans, and she was surprised to be heckled in a restaurant afterwards while treating herself to a nice meal.
She wrote on Twitter: “Some bloke said to me in a restaurant whilst I was eating my dinner, ‘No, stop. Starvation suits you.’ What in the ….
“I would throw my burg at you but that would be a massive waste, love. (sic)”
The ‘Inbetweeners’ star – who plays Charlotte ‘Big Jugs’ Hinchcliffe in the sitcom – wants people to like her for her “personality and brain” rather than her looks.
She said: “My whole life I’ve been judged for how I look.
“Which is part and parcel of being in the public eye, playing sexy roles and posing for lad’s mags, but I want people to like me for my personality and brain.
“It’s not all about having the perfect body, perfect hair, perfect smile.”
During her time in the jungle, Emily made no secret of her desire to date the show’s winner Harry Redknapp’s son Jamie Redknapp, but now admits she feels “so sorry for him” after he was inundated with questions about whether they will go out following her jungle exit.
She added to OK! magazine: “Oh poor Jamie, I feel so sorry for him being dragged into this.
“I’m just focusing myself, my work, my friends. I’m enjoying my life as a single woman.”

Aquaman hits $250m at global box office before US release

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Aquaman’ has earned more then $250 million ahead of its US release later this week.
The highly anticipated blockbuster – which stars Jason Momoa in the fresh adaptation of the classic DC Comics superhero – hits the big screens in the states on December 21, but it is already making waves across the rest of the world.
As reported by Variety, it pulled in $126.4 million over the weekend from 43 territories, putting its global total at $261.3 million.
Its biggest audience has been in China thus far, with another $52.2 million earned just this past weekend alone.
While movie fans in the US have to wait a few more days to see the film, it seems they’re not alone as leading man Momoa revealed he is also yet to watch the movie.
because he’s been waiting to watch it with his children.
The Hollywood star – who has kids Lola, 11, and Nakoa-Wolf, ten, with his wife Lisa Bonet – said: “Here’s the thing – I have two babies aged ten and 11.
“They were on set for the whole filming and they made me promise them that I wouldn’t watch it until I can watch it with them.
“I want to share it with my children and sit and hold their hands – it’s a rare moment for a father and generally, they can’t watch the things I do!”
Meanwhile, earlier this month it was reported that Warner Bros. is already discussing plans for a possible sequel to the superhero film – although nothing is certain at this stage.
A writer hasn’t yet been commissioned for the sequel to ‘Aquaman’ – which also features the likes of Amber Heard and Nicole Kidman and has James Wan at the helm – but internal talks have already been opened.

Rian Johnson thanks ‘amazing’ Star Wars fans

OHMYGOSSIP — Rian Johnson has thanked ‘Star Wars’ fans for “the experience of a lifetime”.
The filmmaker – who was at the helm for ‘Episode VIII – The Last Jedi’ – has spoken out to praise the huge franchise’s loyal and “passionate” fanbase after he directed the second in the current trilogy of films continuing the space saga.
Taking to Twitter over the weekend, he wrote: “Want to thank all the amazing passionate thoughtful kind creative talented supportive argumentative opinionated respectful open-hearted inspiring AMAZING Star Wars fans for the past year.
“Getting to hear from & meet so many of you has been the experience of a lifetime. (sic)”
The director will be replaced by the returning J.J. Abrams for the next movie which comes after he Johnson decided not to kill off Princess Leia – known as General Leia Organa in the new trilogy – following the sad death of actress Carrie Fisher before ‘The Last Jedi’ was released.
Abrams is back at the helm for the next sequel and it is not known how Carrie’s passing in real life will affect how Leia is dealt with on-screen, although it’s thought he will be able to bring Leia to life in the film by including unused footage from ‘The Force Awakens’.
There have also been rumors that some CGI scenes could be included following the use of that technology to show the character as she appeared in ‘Episode IV – A New Hope’ in ‘Star Wars’ prequel ‘Rogue One’.
Carrie’s brother Todd previously teased that his late sister’s ‘Star Wars’ farewell will be “magical” thanks to Abrams genius.
He said: “My sister and Princess Leia are the same thing. And the idea of that story stopping and her not carrying forward is very disturbing to me … It is awesome that it worked out this way and, thanks to director J.J. Abrams, this is going to be very magical and important to us all … It is not easy, I can tell you … But it is nice when you can put her back up on the screen and continue the story and continue the saga. That is important for all of us.”

Karen Clifton ‘so proud’ of Kevin Clifton’s Strictly success

OHMYGOSSIP — Karen Clifton is “so proud” of her estranged husband Kevin Clifton after he won ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The pair split up earlier this year, but ‘Strictly’ pro Karen has paid tribute to Kevin’s “hard work, patience and pure brilliance” after he managed a Glitterball Trophy win, alongside partner Stacey Dooley, following five final appearances.
Karen wrote on Instagram: “Our 2018 @bbcstrictly champions!

Kevin broke down in tears on spin-off show ‘It Takes Two’ as he paid tribute to Stacey and praised her for helping him fall in love with dancing again.
He said: “I’m feeling a bit emotional right now. I just want to, for God’s sake, I just want to say thank you to you, not only for the hard work you have put in.
“I have had one of the craziest years of my life, you’ve just been so nice to work with, I’ve enjoyed it so much. I know I said this the other day, but, I’ve fallen in love with dancing all over again and Strictly all over again. I love this show. Thank you for everything.”

Pitbull’s New Year’s resolution

OHMYGOSSIP — Pitbull’s New Year’s resolution for 2019 is to educate 20,000 children.
The ‘We Are One’ hitmaker co-founded SLAM! (Sports Leadership Arts and Management) charter schools, which helps to educate young people, and he is hoping to double the number of people they help by the end of next year.
Asked what his New Year resolution is, he said: “When it comes to education, we have now 10 schools with 10,000 kids in it. So I would say for next year my resolution would be to be up to 20 schools with 20,000 kids in it.”
And Pitbull wants to use his music to “unite people instead of divide people”.
He told Variety magazine: “Bottom line, my goal is always to show people the power of music and how that can unite people instead of divide people and the society that we’re living in right now, everybody’s about instant gratification and they’re more about negative news rather than positive news. So if we can continue to put out music that brings people together instead of separating them, that to me is always the major accomplishment. Because that leads us to be able to do things like education and really help those that really need it and those that really crave and starve and take advantage of opportunities. So with that said, as always the major goal is utilising music to the best of its ability to bring everybody together.”

Thomas Markle: Meghan will be a great mom

OHMYGOSSIP — Thomas Markle thinks his daughter Meghan will make a great mother.
The 74-year-old retired lighting director is sure his daughter will be a fantastic mom to her and Prince Harry’s child – which they are expecting next Spring – and hopes he can reconnect with the ‘Suits’ actress and see his grandchild.
He said: “They will produce a beautiful baby – I hope to see a little Meghan or little Harry. I think she will make a great mum … There has to be a place for me. I’m her father and I will be the grandfather to her child. I’m here and she knows it.”
And Thomas has hit back at claims his daughter is “rude” and controlling.
He shared: “She is very polite and has always been polite to everyone. She has never been rude. I’m not sure what is happening. She was raised on Hollywood stages and learned to respect the crew. She learned to respect everyone – I just can’t see her being rude to anybody. It’s not her …
“She has always been a very controlling person and that is part of her nature but she has never been rude. The ghosting I don’t completely understand – she’s always been in charge, that’s her nature, but not been rude.”
Meghan’s estranged father is hoping Queen Elizabeth – Prince Harry’s grandmother – can help the family patch things up again.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, he said: “I would appreciate anything she can do. I would think she would want to resolve the family problems.”
Thomas found out Meghan was expecting a baby through a radio show but he was full of pride on hearing the happy news.
He explained previously: “The first thing I thought about was holding Meghan in my arms as a newborn 37 years ago. I thought, ‘My baby is having a baby.’ It was a very proud moment.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams is the new face of Weight Watchers.
The ‘Let Me Entertain You’ singer has teamed up with the weight loss and fitness company, which has been rebranded as WW, to go on a “wellness journey” so he can get “fit and healthy” for his family, friends and fans.
He said: “WW is the first programme that truly feels like it fits with my life. After my back injury last year, I definitely let my healthy habits slip and I felt as though I let myself and my family down. I can’t keep trying the same things and hoping for a different outcome. I trust the history of behaviour science that WW has, and I’m proud to be a new ambassador. Hopefully, others will benefit from my experience.”
And he wrote on Twitter: “Next year I want to get fit and healthy for my family, friends & fans & WW will be my partner on this wellness journey. Robbie has been open about his physical and mental health in the past and previously revealed he thinks his music career is going to “kill” him.
He said: “This job is really bad for my health. It’s going to kill me. Unless I view it in a different way … It sprints through my family. I don’t know if I’d be this mentally ill without fame. I don’t think it would be as gross or as powerful if it hadn’t have been for fame. You get a magnifying glass in the shape of the world’s attention and your defects will obviously magnify too.”

Vicky Pattison special to revel all about John Noble split

OHMYGOSSIP — Vicky Pattison will reveal all about her split in new reality TV special ‘The Break Up’.
The 31-year-old star’s engagement with John Noble ended last month after video footage emerged of him seemingly getting close with a mystery woman in a Dubai nightclub ahead of their marriage plans next year.
The former flames were signed up for their own show ‘Vicky and John Said Yes’ for TLC, but now the network has announced plans to replace it with a one-off programme looking at the aftermath of the split.
Vicky said: “I had already started filming a wedding special for TLC and then everything changed. It wasn’t an easy decision but when I commit, I commit 100 per cent and I felt it important to continue to show the realities of my life at that tough time.
“I want people to see the real me and my real emotions, so they can understand the truth behind the headlines.
“Yes, I had my heart broken but there are more emotions to it and people for the first time will get to see that.”
‘Vicky Pattison: The Break Up’ will see the former ‘Geordie Shore’ star open up in a very honest way, with friends helping her after the wedding is called off and she starts to hunt for a new home of her own.
She added: “The filming process has actually been therapeutic for me. I hope that anyone who has been hurt in a relationship will be able to relate to me when watching the show.
“They’ll also get the pleasure of following my crazy, fun life – and get introduced to the people that make my world go around; my family, my friends, my management – it’s a bizarre thing to say right now, but I hope people will really enjoy it!”
The channel has promised the special will feature “emotionally raw moments” alongside Vicky’s “infectious and vivacious personality”.

Trevor A Toussaint and Imran Adams join Hollyoaks

OHMYGOSSIP — Trevor A Toussaint and Imran Adams have joined ‘Hollyoaks’.
The pair will play Walter Deveraux and Mitchell Deveraux respectively – the father and son of Martine Deveraux, who is played by Kelle Bryan – and Imran has gained new respect for the stars of the soap and the crew members after realising just how much hard work everyone puts in.
Imran – whose alter-ego is described as a “cool, calm and collected trainee doctor” – said: “Joining ‘Hollyoaks’ has been a rollercoaster of a ride so far but it’s been a lot of fun and the whole team have been so welcoming.
“I have a huge respect for ‘Hollyoaks’ actors and I’m proud and grateful to currently be one.
“I’m not sure our amazing viewers know how much hard work everyone puts into each and every episode from both actors and the crew. It really is “Acting Athletics” but I love it.”
Trevor’s alter-ego Walter is deeply religious and will be moving to the village much to Martine’s dismay.
He added: “Walter believes he is the ‘man who does no wrong’.
“He is very strict with his family as he only sees in black and white, and genuinely believes he knows best.
“Since joining ‘Hollyoaks’ it’s been a whirlwind my feet have hardly touched the ground … what with family back in London, learning the pace, and meeting lots of new faces.”
Kelle confirmed in September she had signed up to the soap to play Simone Loveday’s (Jacqueline Boatswain) sister Martine.
She said at the time: “I watched ‘Hollyoaks’ back in the day and loved it, so to be joining the team is just fab! It’s a stellar cast of actors and we are simply having a blast working together.
“Playing Miss Deveraux is such fun – she says and does all of the things I would never dare to do.”

Humans won’t be ‘pack hunted’ in Jurassic World 3

OHMYGOSSIP — Filmmaker Colin Trevorrow says “dinosaur interaction” in ‘Jurassic World 3’ is “unlikely”.
The 42-year-old director – who director 2015’s ‘Jurassic World’ and co-wrote its sequel ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ – has revealed the currently untitled third film will see the predators living alongside humans, rather than being “pack hunted”.
Speaking to fan site Jurassic Outpost, Colin said: “Dinosaurs can’t organise. Right now we’ve got lethal predators in wild areas surrounding cities all over the world, [but] they don’t go pack hunting for humans in urban areas.
“The world I get excited about is the one where it’s possible that a dinosaur might run out in front of your car on a foggy backroad, or invade your campground looking for food.
“A world where dinosaur interaction is unlikely but possible–the same way we watch out for bears or sharks. We invade their territory and pay the price, but we don’t go to war with them. If that was the case, we’d have lost that war a long time ago.”
Fans of the prehistoric film franchise will have to wait three years for the next instalment of the popular movie series, which is due to be released on June 11, 2021.
‘Jurassic World 3’ is expected to see the return of franchise stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, while Emily Carmichael will join the third motion picture as a co-writer alongside Trevorrow.
He will also return to executive produce the Universal Pictures project alongside Steven Spielberg, who was behind the initial ‘Jurassic Park’ movies in the 90s.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Collins says that her style is “constantly changing” as she grows as a woman.
The 29-year-old screen beauty is known for her effortless fashion choices and has revealed her wardrobe is made up of items purchased from “so many amazing vintage shops” from all over the world.
Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph newspaper’s Stella magazine, Lily said: “In Brussels there are so many amazing vintage shops. I found some incredible old Adidas and Fila jackets. But I’m constantly changing when it comes to fashion.”
Lily gets to walk numerous red carpets for her career and she always likes to give credit to the designers who have supplied her outfits for the glitzy events if she is asked what she is wearing but she’d rather talk about her work.
She said: “Well, I like to give credit where credit’s due, and if I’m wearing something a designer has created, they deserve the credit. One hopes there’s going to be more than one question – and if it is just the one, I’d rather be asked what I’m doing there.”
The ‘To The Bone’ actress’ father is music legend Phil Collins and she has revealed that he gave her some invaluable advice when she began her acting journey.
She shared: “For every positive review you read you’ll probably find two negative ones, so if you’re proud of something, don’t let anyone take that away … I feel like I already have this armour built in, which I can use at any moment.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Letitia Wright discovered her favourite foundation after stealing it from her sister.
The 25-year-old actress only started using her favourite skin product, Bareminerals Original Foundation, after borrowing it from her sister and thinks the “amazing” foundation immediately makes her “face glow” after applying it.
In an interview with British Vogue, she said: “I used to steal Bareminerals products from my sister! Then a few months later I was thinking I really wanted to work with them, and they hit me up. Every day I go straight to Bareminerals Original Foundation.
“I just dip into it, real quick, get it onto the brush, swipe my face. And I don’t know what happens but my face starts to glow.
“I don’t know what they put in that thing, but it’s amazing. And then I put my mascara on and some lip balm, which is also from Bareminerals, and I just go! I’m out of the house and it stays on my face all day, you don’t have to worry about it.”
Although the ‘Black Panther’ star opts for a more natural look during the day, her go-to party look includes “something funky” with her eye make-up although “nothing crazy” as she wants her make-up look to enhance her natural features.
She said: “For going out, I’m more of an eyes person, I like to keep everything neutral with my lips. We try to do something funky or make it pop.
“You know, dark eyeshadows, really big eyelashes sometimes. Nothing crazy – I always try to make everything stay in alignment with myself. I just want to enhance what’s already there, you know? ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Hudson is “focusing” on herself.
The 39-year-old actress wants to start getting back into shape after the birth of her two-month-old daughter Rani Rose, who she shares with Danny Fujikawa, but admits it can be “hard” with children.
She said: “It came at a perfect time for me, because at this point after having three babies it’s like sense memory. You want to start getting back into shape and to get strong again and focus on your own personal health. It’s hard when you have babies. Everyone comes before you, and you have to find that time to just focus in on yourself.”
And the ‘Almost Famous’ star – who also has Ryder, 14, and Bingham, seven, from past relationships – has signed up to be an ambassador for Weight Watchers, which has rebranded as WW, and is looking forward to “understanding” more about food and fitness to help her weight loss journey.
She added: “I don’t think it’s as much about changing anything, as it is about knowledge of the things that you love. That’s the thing that sets it apart to me from everything else. This is about understanding your wellness. It’s about understanding your fitness activity, understanding your food, understanding the things that you love. It’s about how to balance.”
Kate is very “disciplined” when it comes to her fitness routine.
She told People magazine: “I enjoy being disciplined. I enjoy being athletic, and I enjoy being active. So for me it’s actually kind of a fun time to challenge my body again in certain ways, After pregnancy, getting your body back into shape for me – especially in fitness – finding my stomach muscles again and pushing myself a little bit harder sometimes are things that I enjoy.”
