Beverly Hills, 90210 to return

OHMYGOSSIP — The original ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ cast are reuniting for a reboot – but with a twist.
Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green and Jason Priestly were spotted having coffee together in Los Angeles on Wednesday (19.12.18) and according to TMZ, they were taking a break from pitch meetings to bring back the show.
Sources told the website the actors, along with a group of writers and producers, met with executives at Netflix, Amazon and Hulu to discuss the possibility of reviving the programme.
And according to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, CBS Television Studios are planning an “untraditional reboot” which will include some of the original cast but the actors “are not reprising their original characters”, though it is unclear what that will mean.
It is also not confirmed whether fellow original stars Luke Perry and Shannen Doherty have been part of the negotiations, however Gabrielle Carteris is expected to be involved.
Tori fuelled speculation about the reboot earlier this year when she shared a photo on Instagram from the CBS Studio lot and tagged Jennie in it.
She captioned the image: #back2work great creative day yesterday with my #partnerincrime @jenniegarth #90210vibes #donnaandkellyforver #besties (sic)”
Jennie previously admitted she’d find it “amazing” to reunite with her co-stars once more, so long as the project was “right”.
She said: “I love all my old castmates, working with them again would be amazing.
“What a great thing to do. It would just have to be the right coming together of all the minds that need to come together.”
The original series aired on Fox from 1990 to 2000. It was revived for five seasons with a new cast from 2008-2013, but a number of the original cast members made guest appearances.

Steve Carell admits Welcome to Marwen was beyond his imagination

OHMYGOSSIP — Steve Carell’s new movie ‘Welcome to Marwen’ is unlike anything he’s “ever imagined”.
The 56-year-old actor stars in the Robert Zemeckis-directed drama, which tells the story of a man struggling with PTSD who creates a fictional village to ease his trauma, and Steve has admitted to being attracted by the film’s unique concept.
He confessed: “What was exciting to me about it is that it’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen or even imagined.”
Steve was first drawn to the project on the strength of the story.
However, he also revealed that the idea of his character existing in the real world and also a fictional one, was a big attraction.
He told Collider: “What interested me, in the first place, was the story itself. And then, when I talked to Robert Zemeckis about what his idea would be for the feature version, it seemed like a great way in.
“My initial hesitation was that the documentary, ‘Marwencol’, was really so complete and so beautiful, that it didn’t seem like it needed to be retold, and certainly not to just do a version of the documentary as a feature.
“But I thought Robert Zemeckis’ idea to expand the fantasy world and bring that to life, made a good case for turning it into a feature and expanding the world scope of it all.”
Steve was also excited by the prospect of working with Robert, who created the ‘Back to the Future’ franchise.
He said: “I was a little overwhelmed. I just decided to take a chance, and I’ve never done that before. I’ve never felt compelled to go after something the way that I did this.”

Black Eyed Peas have always felt like a trio

OHMYGOSSIP — Black Eyed Peas still felt like a trio even when Fergie was in the band.
The ‘Where Is The Love?’ singer didn’t rejoin the rest of the group for their comeback earlier this year, and will.i.am has insisted it wasn’t a difficult transition going back to the original lineup with Taboo and APL.DE.AP.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column, he said: “Returning to the trio that we were wasn’t something which felt jarring or foreign to us.
“When we started the group we were a trio and even when we were a quartet, we were a trio. Because we are the origins of what we created, it’s not foreign at all.”
Fergie joined the group in 2002, with the group first getting together 12 years earlier.
The star was offered the chance to join the reunion, but wanted to focus on her 2017 album ‘Double Dutchess’, and Taboo didn’t want to wait after his battle with testicular cancer in 2014.
He explained: “When I beat cancer I felt rejuvenated, like I wanted to be back on stage again.
“When we asked Fergie if she wanted to rock with us, she said respectfully, ‘I’m going to do the ‘Double Duchess”.
“And I felt like time waits for no man, so we went in to create the album ‘Masters of The Sun Vol. 1’, knowing we had to go back to celebrating the accomplishments of us being a trio.”
She has since been replaced by ‘The Voice Philippines’ finalist Jessica Reynoso, who joined the group for a special 20th anniversary performance.
’20 Years of the Black Eyed Peas’ will air on ITV on Saturday night (22.12.18) at 10pm.

Halsey feels ‘a lil low’ when she’s not on tour

OHMYGOSSIP — Halsey feels “a lil low” when she’s not performing live.
The 24-year-old singer asked fans to share videos from her concerts because she was missing touring, and described playing shows as her “sole purpose” to give everyone “a void” for whatever they need to say.
In a series of posts on Twitter, she wrote: “I just really love being on stage and I get kinda down when I have off time. Playing for you guys is my purpose and without it I get a lil low.
“Thanks for the little pick me up. I love you more than you can imagine. You guys are literally the sole purpose of my existence.
“Everything I do, eat, think, exercise, write, watch, draw is with the intention of becoming better. So I can continue to create experiences in which I feel so very, very connected to you. Thank you.
“When I stand onstage I become a void. a void for you to scream your insecurities and griefs and triumphs and vindication’s directly at/into and I absorb it all and feed rigorously off the connection. you help me understand myself.”
The star joked about a typo in her final message, but her fans appreciated the honest outpouring.
It came after she revealed her single ‘Without Me’ has gone platinum in the US – her 16th to achieve the landmark – and hinted at some plans to show how grateful she is for the support.
She tweeted: “Without Me is platinum!!! and is now my SIXTEENTH @RIAA Certified single… working on a few special things to say thank you to you guys. This s**t is bananas (sic)”
The song references her on/off relationship with G-Eazy, and at one point she even gives a nod to Justin Timberlake’s bitter breakup hit ‘Cry me A River’ with an almost identical lyric to the 2002 track.
She sings: “You don’t have to say just what you did. I already know, I had to go and find out from them.”

David Walliams forced to eat rat burger by Bear Grylls

OHMYGOSSIP — David Walliams was forced to eat a rat burger by Bear Grylls when filming the adventurer’s ‘Mission With’ documentary.
The 47-year-old actor says the 44-year-old television presenter cooked and served him a rat burger – which is also the same name of his hit children’s book – for his ITV show.
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge said: “Bear made me eat a rat. He cooked it first but I would not recommend it. He is saying, ‘Oh it is delicious, it’s wonderful’.
“I am like, ‘It is not’. There is a reason why we don’t eat rats.
“There is quite a pooey after-taste.
“So I have kind of got my just desserts writing a story about Ratburgers and now I have had to eat one.”
David came up with the idea of ‘Ratburger’ – which tells the story of a man, Burger Man Burt, who makes burgers from rodents – after he was left shocked by a ‘BGT’ star who ate live cockroaches as his party trick.
This comes after David’s model ex-wife Lara Stone banned him from rock climbing with Bear in 2012.
David said: “Just after the Thames swim we went to New York.
“Lara had to go for fashion week, and I wanted to get away. I’d had so much attention.
“I’m friends with Bear and he was there too.
“It was only scaling a rock face, but Lara got really upset and said ‘no’.”
In his show, the survival specialist puts eight celebrities to the test and makes them face a 12-day survival mission like nothing they have ever experienced before.
To stay alive the stars must learn how to navigate difficult terrain, build shelter and catch their own food.

Ann Widdecombe rules out I’m A Celebrity due to height phobia

OHMYGOSSIP — Ann Widdecombe has considered taking part in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ – but she has ruled herself out because of her height phobia.
The 71-year-old former politician has a “huge” fear of heights so much so she wouldn’t be able to walk over the bridge on the show, which campmates use to go to and from Bushtucker Trials and they use another platform to leave the jungle.
She said: “I’ve thought about the jungle from time to time. My problem is I’ve got huge, huge height phobia.
“I wouldn’t do [the high Bushtucker Trials].
“They wouldn’t ask me to parachute, that’s nonsense at my age, but they would expect me to walk over that bridge.
“And eat those revolting things … urgh.”
But Ann is keen to take part in the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ tour again, after she had such fun the last time dancing with Craig Revel Horwood, as opposed to her show partner Anton du Beke.
She said: “I wouldn’t mind doing the ‘Strictly’ tour again.
“I danced with Craig [Revel Horwood] on tour. He threw me about even more roughly [than Anton]. Because he’s bigger. He’s built on a much bigger scale.
“Using his normal force had me on the other side of the room.”
Ann previously wowed viewers with her moves on series eight of the Latin and ballroom show in 2010, and she admits the programme “completely changed the course” her retirement was heading in.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’, she added: “The completely changed the course of my retirement.
“If anybody had said to me I was going to appear at the Royal Opera House I would’ve said, ‘Lie down and have an aspirin.’
“I was going to be at home writing and walking on the Moors and doing that sort of thing, that was what I thought my retirement was going to consist of.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Iain Lee has been praised after he helped rescue a man who called into his radio show claiming he had taken an overdose.
The 45-year-old presenter kept the caller, Chris, online for 30 minutes until ambulances found him on Wednesday night (19.12.18), after he phoned into his talkRADIO show ‘The Late Night Alternative with Iain Lee’ .
In the harrowing call, the former ‘RI:SE’ host asked the 59-year-old: “Do you want to die?”
To which he replied: “I really want to discuss it with you.”
After “long periods of silence” during the call – where Iain thought the caller had died – he said: “Chris, I love you brother. You deserve better than this, right?
“Whatever has happened I promise you it can be sorted.
“I guarantee that whatever has happened it can be sorted out. It might not be easy, it might be painful, but it’s better than you doing this.”
Emergency services attended and dealt with the caller after being called by producer Kath.
Tweeting after the incident on Wednesday, Iain wrote: “Tonight we took a call from a man who had taken an overdose. He was lying in a street in Plymouth, dying.
“We managed to keep him online, get a description of what he looked like and was wearing, work out where he was and send an ambulance and police to him.
“Kept him on the phone for 30 minutes while he got harder to understand. Long periods of silence where I thought he had died. F***, that was intense and upsetting. (sic)”
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said that officers attended and dealt with the caller before he was taken to Derriford Hospital Emergency Department for further treatment.

A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “Negotiations are coming shortly, probably in the New Year. Scott loves working at the BBC but he’s obviously very flattered to hear a commercial station is interested.”

Robbie Williams films Weight Watchers advert with lookalikes

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams has filmed an advert for Weight Watchers with a group of lookalikes.
The ‘Let Me Entertain You’ singer was recently announced as the new face of the weight loss and fitness company, which has been rebranded as WW, and the first commercial for the new partnership will see five Robbie doppelgängers recreate his iconic music video for ‘Rock DJ’.
The promo, which was filmed in East Grinstead in West Sussex, England, sees the 44-year-old pop star fail to teach his lookalikes the dance moves for the 2000 video – which saw Robbie strip down to wearing just his racy tiger printed pants.
After inviting them down, he tells them: “Thank you all for coming, guys. We’re all here today to take health back together.
“To show it is not all about 4am work outs in the dark, eating wheatgrass flakes through a straw, or running ultra-marathons wrapped in cling film. Or even my own preferred sport, boxing.”
He’s then seen punching the air, before saying: “It is about how you feel.”
However, after donning matching tracksuits adorned with the ‘I Love My Life’ hitmaker’s initials, they succeed in mastering the routine.
According to a source, the light-hearted video is “hilarious” and shows that Robbie isn’t “afraid” to make fun of himself.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Robbie is never afraid to take the mick out of himself and thought he’d poke fun at his fellow RWs as well.
“Everyone was a good sport and the end product looks hilarious. They’re all chuffed with it.”
Robbie decided to join the WW family to go on a “wellness journey” so he can get “fit and healthy” for his family, friends and fans.
He said: “WW is the first programme that truly feels like it fits with my life. After my back injury last year, I definitely let my healthy habits slip and I felt as though I let myself and my family down. I can’t keep trying the same things and hoping for a different outcome. I trust the history of behaviour science that WW has, and I’m proud to be a new ambassador. Hopefully, others will benefit from my experience.”
And he wrote on Twitter: “Next year I want to get fit and healthy for my family, friends & fans & WW will be my partner on this wellness journey. As a #WWambassador, I’m joining millions around the world building healthy habits for real life. Why are YOU are getting healthy? #MyWhy #ForEveryBody @ww_uk (sic)”

Keke Palmer was ‘horrified’ finding out about oral sex as a child

OHMYGOSSIP — Keke Palmer discovered what oral sex is whilst watching DNA-testing talk show ‘Maury’ as a child.
The 25-year-old actress has admitted she used to secretly watch Maury Povich’s daytime programme and ‘The Jerry Springer Show’ growing up, and one day whilst watching an episode of the former show, she came to learn about mouth sex when someone was tested to see if they had partaken in oral.
Asked by Busy Philipps’ about her influences on ‘Busy Tonight’ on Thursday (20.12.18), she confessed: “I don’t think we have anybody on TV like Oprah.
“I definitely grew up watching Jerry Spinger and Maury. He taught me what oral sex was.
“I will never forget the time I was watching Maury. I shouldn’t have been watching Maury, right? But I grew up in a very small mid-western area, so it’s like you just watched those shows.”
The ‘Scream Queens’ star only realised she shouldn’t have been watching the show, when her mother found out and told her to find out what oral sex is, and was left “horrified”.
She recalled: “My mom overheard and was like, ‘Oh my gosh, my daughter’s watching Maury.’ So you know what she did? She said, ‘Do you know what oral sex is?’ And I’m like, ‘No.’ She says, ‘I want you to look up in the dictionary what oral is and what sex is.’ And then I was horrified and I knew I shouldn’t have been watching Maury.”

Miles Kane reveals ‘badass’ winter style tip

OHMYGOSSIP — Miles Kane always looks “super badass” in winter.
The 32-year-old musician shared his go-to look for the cold weather and suggested a “big sheepskin coat” to keep warm and stay looking stylish throughout the festive season.
Asked his style tip in an interview with Britain’s GQ Magazine, he said: “A big sheepskin coat. It keeps you warm and looks super badass.”
The Last Shadow Puppets frontman went on to share his advice to his younger self, which involved being less concerned with other people’s opinions and to put himself first.
He said: “To worry less about what other people think and please yourself first before others. Once one is content in themselves then that’s where true happiness begins! You can only learn that with age, really. God I sound old.”
The former Rascals frontman also admitted that he’s happiest while on touring as he loves performing to his fans.
He said: “I would say being on tour, playing the best shows of my life, and loving being on stage.”
Although the rocker recently released his third solo album ‘Coup De Grace’ – he previously confessed that he would “never say never” to another Last Shadow Puppets album.
Miles formed the side project with Arctic Monkeys frontman and long-time pal Alex Turner in 2008 before releasing their second album ‘Everything You’ve Come To Expect’ in 2016.
Although fans had to wait a lengthy eight years between releases, Miles has said there could be another revival of the group in the future.
He previously said: “The Last Shadow Puppets was good, I had great fun with that. Bring them back? Who knows, yeah! Never say never.”

Kim Kardashian West’s ‘obsessed’ with 12-year-old cosmetic tool

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West is “obsessed” with her broken 12-year-old M.A.C foundation brush – and still uses it daily.
The 38-year-old reality star is known for her flawless, contoured face, and has treated fans to a step-by-step tutorial on Vogue of her go-to festive look, but the brunette beauty revealed she has been using the same “damaged” kabuki brush since college.
Speaking on Vogue’s website about what tool she uses to blend her foundation, Kim said: “What I used to use is this M.A.C kabuki brush. You guys don’t even understand. This brush is maybe 12 years old. I think I got this in college. It is so damaged. M.A.C. please continue to make the 180!
“You’ll see that I always kind of go back to this brush, I don’t know why, I’m obsessed with it.
“For brows I use an Anastasia Beverly Hills pencil. In the 90’s I would in High School, make my eyebrows so thin, Drew Barrymore was my everything inspiration!”
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ beauty – who has five-year-old North, Saint, three and Chicago, 11 months, with husband Kanye West – also confessed she tries to keep her daily make-up routine simple since becoming a mum, and swears by Tatcha’s Luminous Dewy Skin Mist [$48] to set her concealer.
Kim added: “If you guys only saw the under-eyes that I have – well you are seeing them.
“I like to really warm up my face and I think a big step in that is concealing. If i’m doing may make-up in the mirror or on the go, I take a sponge and use this Tatcha [skin mist] and I take the concealer and put it on my eye too.
“When you are a mum, you have no time to blend like this so unless I’m at work and getting my hair and makeup done, I do not have time to blend all day so i try to do it as quick as possible.”

Emily Atack learned to love herself without make-up

OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Atack has learned to love herself after going bare-faced on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The 29-year-old actress – who was runner up on this year’s show – admitted her “biggest fear” before appearing on the reality show was being seen by the public without her “armour”, however, has has begun to embrace her natural self after appearing on the ITV programme.
In an interview with Glamour UK, she said: “That was the biggest fear for me, being seen without my straight hair, my make-up or fake tan, being seen without my armour on, that terrified me.
“I got to day two and the make-up was fading, the hair was going mad in the humidity. I just thought, what can I do about it? If I sit here worrying about it, I’m not going to have a nice experience.
“I’m just learning to embrace myself more. Because, you know- everyone has seen what I look like now! There’s no hiding – I’ve been rumbled!”
The ‘Inbetweeners’ star confessed that she’s no longer using apps which help her appear slimmer on Instagram as it’s “dangerous” to feel better after editing a picture of yourself to seem thinner.
She explained: “It’s especially important today, when we have so many apps that can completely change how we look. You can slim yourself down, you can airbrush yourself. But that’s what you look like.
“It’s dangerous that we can all paint a completely false picture of ourselves. It makes you feel nice for five minutes when you’re looking at it, because you’ve shaved a stone off your bum but it’s not reality.
“You don’t really look like that. It will only upset you if you see a photo of yourself and you don’t look like that. That’s such a shame, especially for young girls.”

Mrs Brown’s stars could be next Morecambe and Wise

OHMYGOSSIP — Brendan O’Carroll has tipped ‘Mrs. Brown’s Boys’ duo Dermot and Buster to be the next Morecambe and Wise.
The popular sitcom characters – played by Brendan’s son Danny O’Carroll and co-star Paddy Houlihan – are getting their own spin-off film, and the show’s creator has backed the actors to emulate comedy icons Eric and Ernie because of their on-screen chemistry.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “They are writing a movie about Dermot and Buster as a bit of a spin-off. I think it’s going to be really, really successful.
“What is going to make it successful is that chemistry they have with each other. There is something that they have that is very, very rare. You saw it in Morecambe and Wise.”
Meanwhile, Brendan also revealed he managed to sneak a rude reference past the BBC censors for the upcoming ‘Mrs. Brown’s Boys’ Christmas special.
The episode – titled ‘Exotic Mammy’ – sees Brendan’s alter ego Agnes get given a ‘Maggie’ – an Irish version of Alexa pronounced ‘M’Gee’.
He added: “I called it a Maggie because in Ireland it’s a derogatory term for a lady’s part. It’s a Gee. So I called it a Mag-gie.
“So when it’s going out on TV in the UK people will be going: ‘Oh, it’s called Maggie’ but in Ireland when Mrs. Brown says: ‘Hold on. Let me ask Maggie’, the Irish will be laughing.”
Last year’s Christmas Day special was watched by 6.8 million viewers, with the ‘Downton Abbey’ finale in 2015 being the only programme to beat it in the ratings over the past seven years.
The ‘Mrs Brown’s Boys’ festive special for 2018 will air on Christmas Day (25.12.18) at 10.15pm on BBC1.

Mike Parr’s ‘snide’ Christmas present plan

OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Parr buys his friends and family “crap back up presents” to give them if he doesn’t like what they’ve bought him.
The former ‘Emmerdale’ actor – who portrayed Ross Barton on the soap from 2013 to 2018 – likes to buy good and bad Christmas gifts for his pals before making sure he unwraps his present from them first to see if it is “up to standards”, and he then decides which one to hand over to them.
He wrote on Twitter: “Top tip. Get ppl a snide back up present. Get them a good one but also a crap one. Make sure you open yours first and if it’s not up to your standards then do a switcharoo and give them the rubbish one and keep or return the good one. Merry Xmas! 🙂 (sic)”
When one of Mike’s pals questioned whether he had come up with the sneaky scheme himself or got it from comic magazine Viz, the 32-year-old star said it was his own idea but he used to “adore” some of the publication’s top tips.
He tweeted: “Hahahaha mine but I f***in adore viz. my fav one was how you could use a stick and a shredded wheat to make a luffa to save money. (sic)”
Mike made his final ‘Emmerdale’ appearance on November 2nd, and just a few weeks after his last-ever episode aired the actor admitted he was “bored” after being out of work for two months.
He tweeted: “I know there are many factors for why ppl don’t/can’t work but in my experience of not having a job which has almost lasted two months now…. it is boring. So boring. There’s just naff all to do! (sic)”
His former cast mate Samantha Giles (Bernice Blackstock) was quick to reply with words of support, telling him to “hold his nerve”, and adding that “something good will come up”.
When a fan suggested he should have stayed on the soap, she replied: “He was brave to go and he’s an actor so he wants to play lots of roles! Never play safe- life is for living and that means taking risks!! (sic)”
