OHMYGOSSIP — Abbey Clancy’s husband buys her the same coat every Christmas.
The 32-year-old model would love to be surprised this year but she’s expecting to unwrap the same Burberry trench that Peter Crouch – with whom she has children Sophia, seven, Liberty, three, and 11-month-old Johnny – has bought her for the last six years, just in a different colour.
She told Closer magazine: “Peter isn’t the best at buying gifts.
“Every Christmas he ends up getting me a Burberry mac – the same one, just in a different colour. I’ve got six now!
“It’s like he forgets every year, then comes up with the same idea.
“It really makes me laugh – I’m hoping for anything but a Burberry trench under the tree this time round.
“To be honest, I’m more excited about all the family being together than I am about the pressies.
“The kids all still believe in Father Christmas – it’s really lovely.”
When it comes to her personal style, Abbey doesn’t worry too much about following trends so long as she’s happy with her outfit.
She said: “I don’t worry too much about trends. I prefer wearing what looks and feels good on me, rather than following what everybody else is doing.
“It’s all down to personal preference and body shape when it comes to fashion – I’m not going to wear a pair of neon cycling shorts just because somebody tells me to.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus “hit on” Ariana Grande with emojis after her breakup from Pete Davidson.
The 26-year-old star sent her friend a text message of support when it was revealed she had split from her fiance in October – four months after they got engaged – and she found a unique way to try and cheer her up.
Appearing on ‘The Howard Stern Show ‘, Miley revealed: “‘I’m an emoji person so I just sent a bunch of hearts and the little cat with the heart eyes.
“I literally think I sent the cat with the heart eyes. I thought it was slightly, maybe even kind of making her feel good, like maybe I was hitting on her a little bit.
“It felt like to me, it felt maybe like a little, ‘Oh hey, someone loves you. If it’s not working, here I am.’ ”
Ariana’s sent a similarly wordless reply as she simply responded with a cloud emoji, which Miley felt “said everything” it needed to.
She added: “It all said everything. I think she was saying, ‘I’m okay, and I’m here. … Thank you for thinking of me.’ That’s what I think it meant.”
Miley’s comments come after it was revealed Ariana, 25, is worried about her 25-year-old ex after his recent worrying Instagram post.
The comedian – who suffers from bipolar disorder and has previously battled suicidal thoughts – was the subject of a welfare check by the New York Police Department (NYPD) after he wrote on social media that he “doesn’t want to be on this earth any more”.
And Ariana is said to be “frantic” and worried about her former flame’s well being.
A source told People magazine: “Ariana and Pete haven’t really been in contact since the split, but this doesn’t mean that she doesn’t care about him. She was frantic after she saw his Instagram message. She feels terrible that he isn’t feeling well.”

Dua Lipa discontinues Nyden capsule collections

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa has discontinued her capsule collections with Nyden.
The ‘Electricity’ hitmaker has decided to end her partnership with the brand to work on something that is more accessible for her fans in 2019.
She tweeted: “Nyden and I have discontinued our work together. I will be announcing something special in the new year that i feel better represents myself and my fans. Thank you for your support xx (sic)”
The 23-year-old pop star was set to create four capsules, including a wide range of sizes, with the H&M-owned affordable luxury brand, and the ‘One Kiss’ singer had been “excited” to get to work on the project because fashion “plays an important role” in her mood both on and off stage.
Speaking to Vogue.com in May, she said: “I mean, when I’m on stage, I always feel the most confident, whether that is in a body suit or whether I’m in trackies.
“My first love is music, but fashion also plays an important role in my life because I believe it’s so vital to self-expression, I look for clothes that reflect strength and fearlessness, but also match up to today’s fast pace. So I’m excited to be co-creating with /Nyden on my designs – it’s going to be a collection that’s completely suited to me, both onstage and off, and for my fans.”
The ‘New Rules’ hitmaker is known for her statement outfits on stage and had claimed the brand had allowed her “total freedom” to create the “cool and effortless pieces from the collection and that it was important to create something “simple” that her fans will feel confident in.
She said: “What I really liked about working together and collaborating with /Nyden is the fact that they allowed me total creative lee-way to create things that I wanted; to make something that I would want to wear, things that I think my fans would really like, I just loved that creative freedom.
“I love the collaboration and I think that’s what you want to do, it’s to create something simple, that’s really cool and effortless and something that everyone can be a part of.”
Stina Force, Creative Director of Nyden, revealed they were keen to work with the singer because of her “fierce attitude”.
Stina said: “Dua is one of the most renowned pop artists in the world today. Her strong and fierce attitude, not to mention distinctive style, make her a perfect fit for the /Nyden tribe and philosophy, Dua’s inspiring outlook and style is why we have chosen to work with her and co-create multiple collections.”
It’s not known if Dua will go it alone for her fashion line or sign up with another brand.

Bruno Tonioli’s conditions for working with Simon Cowell

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruno Tonioli would consider working with Simon Cowell on a “new” talent show in the US.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge has revealed that the 59-year-old music mogul has been in touch several times to ask him to join ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and his most recent dance venture, ‘The Greatest Dancer’.
However, he says he’s more likely to work with Simon if he produces a show across the pond.
The 63-year-old star told The Sun newspaper: “I’ve told him (Simon) to come up with something new and we’ll think about it.
“We have discussed these things for a number of years but it has never come to anything concrete.”
Bruno says that it was down to timing that he didn’t agree to join Simon’s first show on the BBC, which sees Cheryl, Oti Mabuse and Matthew Morrison on the panel.
He continued: “You need to be careful when you’ve been on Strictly for 14 weeks, to then go on another show with just a month’s gap for another 10 weeks would be tiresome of the viewers.
“If he made a US version, I’d be more likely to do that.”
Bruno has every faith in ‘The X Factor honcho, to continue to “reinvent” his shows for the better.
He said: “Simon has a got a great capacity to reinvent and he’s got a good eye for what people want.
“I would never discount his ability to come up with something.”
Bruno – who reportedly earns between £200,000 to £250,000 for his current shows – already has a job on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in America, and his contract is set to expire in 2020.
A insider says this is the prefect opportunity for Simon to drop the dance expert an offer he can’t refuse.
They said: “Bruno is hugely popular with viewers and Simon appreciates getting him on board will be a huge coup.
“Convincing him to leave ‘Strictly’ will be tough but he knows Bruno would consider if the offer excites him.
“He also knows Bruno could majorly improve his salary should he switch channels.”

Brendan O’Carroll turned down ‘Allo ‘Allo remake

OHMYGOSSIP — BBC wanted ‘Mrs. Brown’s Boys’ to remake ”Allo ‘Allo’.
Brendan O’Carroll has revealed the the broadcaster was keen for him to swap Anges Brown’s wig and Apron for cafe owner Rene Artoi’s famous waistcoat for a revival of the 1980s sitcom.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “We were asked to remake ”Allo ‘Allo’ using our cast. I’d have been Rene. it sounded intriguing and I was tempted.
“But down the line, I’d seen some comedy remakes during the last couple of years and I just thought: ‘No. They don’t compare’. It was what it was at the time.”
The BBC’s revamp would’ve seen Brenda’s real-life wife Jennifer Gibney taking on the role of waitress Yvette Carte-Blanche, with other cast members joining in the fun as the likes of Herr Flick, Private Helga and Colonel Kurt von Strohm.
The classic show follows French cafe owner Rene as he’s made to team up with the Gestapo and Resistance during World War Two.
Brendan also turned down the idea because he doesn’t see the need for remakes when the originals are still so beloved by the public.
He explained: “I remember one year when the TV ratings came in and durign one week the most-viewed show on telly that night was a repeat of ‘Mrs. Brown’s Boys’ and the second most popular was ‘Dad’s Army’.
“It shows they still stand uP! I say why re-invent Champagne. You just end up with sparkling wine.”
Meanwhile, he will be back on TV on Christmas Day (25.12.18) for a festive episode of ‘Mrs. Brown’s Boys’.
‘Exotic Mammy’ will air tomorrow on BBC One at 10.15pm.

Saoirse Ronan joins The French Dispatch

OHMYGOSSIP — Saoirse Ronan will reunite with Timothee Chalamet and director Wes Anderson for ‘The French Dispatch’.
The 24-year-old Golden Globe winner, who worked with the latter on 2014’s ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ and last year’s ‘Lady Bird’ with Chalamet, 22 – who has a lead role in the live action feature – joins a star-studded ensemble along with Benicio del Toro, Jeffrey Wright and the director’s frequent collaborators Bill Murray, TIlda Swinton and Frances McDormand.
Ronan – who will also star alongside Chalamet in Greta Gerwig’s remake of ‘Little Women’ – let the news of her casting in the post-World War II drama slip during a recent video interview for her next movie, ‘Mary Queen of Scots’.
She told GoldDerby when asked if she is reuniting with the 49-year-old filmmaker: “Yeah, in the spring.”
Before asking: “Has that (casting) been released? Well it has now.”
Anderson is writing the film as well as directing, while Scott Rudin is on board to produce.
The movie is set in the 1950s and follows a group of journalists at an American newspaper bureau in Paris, though filming is currently taking place in Angouleme in South West France.
It’s unclear if a distribution deal is officially closed but according to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie is expected to be distributed by Fox Searchlight, who have released several of the director’s past films, including this year’s ‘Isle of Dogs’.
Ronan plays the titular role in ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ opposite Margot Robbie as Mary’s cousin Queen Elizabeth I in the drama biopic, which focuses on the feud between England and Scotland in 1569.
And the ‘On Chesil Beach’ star admits it is a dream come true to play the historical figure.
Saoirse said: “The film focuses on the seven years before Mary’s arrest in England and we see Queen Elizabeth heavily involved in the politics of that time and the struggle against patriarchal authority. I’ve always wanted to play Mary and it was an amazing feeling to get to do it.
“It’s a fascinating and compelling story and I couldn’t wait to play this character. We get to see Mary in a very personal way, which adds another layer to the story and all the politics, betrayals and conspiracies taking place.”

Christian Bale interesting in Adam McKay comedy role

OHMYGOSSIP — Christian Bale would love to star in an Adam McKay comedy.
The 44-year-old actor has worked with the filmmaker on a number of more serious projects – including ‘The Big Short’ and new political drama ‘Vice’ – but he wouldn’t turn down the chance to appear in one of the ‘Anchorman’ director’s more lighthearted films.
He told Cinemablend: “I’d be interested in working with [Adam McKay] on anything. He’s shown an incredible ability to take things that most people would shy away from, un-cinematic, and make stunning films out of those.
“We’ve been able to do incredibly long hours and very tough films, but with the best of humor, and that’s really quite remarkable. He’s a really surprising individual, and a truly, astonishingly talented filmmaker.”
His comments come after McKay himself admitted he and his collaborator Robyn Wholey are both keen to get back into the world of comedy.
He said: “After [‘Vice’] and ‘The Big Short’, even though they both have comedy in them, without a doubt, my executive producer Robyn Wholey and I were laughing like, ‘We need a comedy. We definitely do.’ So you tell me what’s the comedy is, and I’m in.”
The director revealed he looks back on teaming up with Will Ferrell in the likes of ‘Step Brothers’ and ‘Talladega Nights’ very fondly, and joked he needed to find a way to combine the laughter with serious issues.
He added: “Oh God, yes, please. I miss those days. I mean ‘Step Brothers’, we laughed every single day. I mean, ‘Talladega Nights’, ‘Anchorman’, it was the best time.
“I just don’t know, man. I mean, can we do a movie that funny about global warming? If we can, I’ll do it! I’m trying to figure it out, trying to figure it out.”

Taboo wants Black Eyed Peas movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Black Eyed Peas star Taboo dreams of the group having their own musical movie.
The ‘Where is the Love? hitmaker – who is joined by will.i.am, apl.de.ap, and Jessica Reynoso in the current line-up – says he’d love for their music and story to be turned into a big screen feature film just like recent blockbuster, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, which is cantered on Queen’s late frontman Freddie Mercury’s (Rami Malek) life.
Taboo says “friendship” would be at the heart of a Peas movie.
He told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “I would eventually like to see an amazing film about the Black Eyed Peas done with the right people in the right way. It’s a very compelling story.
“Apl is a huge inspiration to this idea and friendship because he came to the Philippines and set the tone to what was to become our friendship and the dream of overcoming obstacles.
“It’s a great story and I would love in the future to have a movie made of our friendship.”
Meanwhile, the band member recently claimed former member Fergie turned down a reunion to work on her solo album.
The ‘I Gotta Feeling’ hitmakers offered the 43-year-old singer the chance to team up with them again, but she wanted to work on her second album, ‘Double Dutchess’.
Taboo – who battled testicular cancer in 2014 – said recently: “When I beat cancer I felt rejuvenated, like I wanted to be back on stage again.
“When we asked Fergie if she wanted to rock with us, she said respectfully, ‘I’m going to do the ‘Double Dutchess’.’
“And I felt like time waits for no man, so we went in to create the album ‘Masters of The Sun Vol. 1’, knowing we had to go back to celebrating the accomplishments of us being a trio.”
Jessica has since replaced Fergie in the band, but will admits it felt normal being a trio because he, Taboo and apl.de.ap were the co-founding members of the group.
He said: “Returning to the trio that we were wasn’t something which felt jarring or foreign to us.
“When we started the group we were a trio and even when we were a quartet, we were a trio.
“Because we are the origins of what we created, it’s not foreign at all.”

Olly Murs reveals Christmas album plans

OHMYGOSSIP — Olly Murs is holding off on a Christmas album until it feels like “the right time”.
The ‘Dance With Me Tonight’ hitmaker is still planning to release a collection of festive tracks, but he thinks he needs to find the appropriate moment in his career to bring out the seasonal songs.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “A Christmas album is an idea I’ve thought about a lot. But you have to pick the right time to do that.
“Michael Buble did his which was massive. I will do one eventually but it’s getting the right time.”
Last month, Olly – who recently released his new album ‘You Know I Know’ – commented on celebrating a decade since he shot to fame after coming second on ‘The X Factor’ in 2009.
Ahead of the milestone, he admitted he’s delighted to still have a large fan base and can’t wait to see them all on his upcoming UK tour.
He said: “Ten years – it’s crazy. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to get this far. I’m delighted…
“It’s amazing to still be relevant.
“I can’t wait to get back on the road, see my fans and hear what they think of the music.”
And the ‘Moves’ singer is planning a special celebration to mark the milestone.
He said: “I’ll definitely do something to commemorate it and reflect. And I’m looking forward to the next 10.”
The ‘Voice’ coach is most proud of his 2012 single ‘Troublemaker’, which became his fourth UK number one and is his highest-selling track to date.
He said: “‘Troublemaker’ is the track that holds the most memories for me.
“The success of that song opened up a whole new world for me and paved the way to be where I am now.
“It took me all around the world. I wouldn’t be a coach on ‘The Vice’ if it wasn’t for ‘Troublemaker’.”

Nicole Kidman has big Christmas plans

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman will celebrate Christmas with a “big crowd”.
The ‘Aquaman’ actress will return to Australia with her husband Keith Urban and their daughters Sunday, 10, and Faith, seven, for the festive season, while her sister Antonia will travel from Singapore and they have a “lot of fun” catching up with their extended family.
She said: “We usually go to Sydney for Christmas. My mother lives there, but as I live in America and my sister lives in Singapore, Momma needs us to go back regularly. It’s a big crowd.
“We have lots of extended family and we also have people who don’t have family who come to be with us, so it’s usually about 40 people. It’s a lot of fun.”
While their mother may do the hosting, Nicole and Antonia are happy to get involved with the catering.
The ‘Big Little Lies’ star said: “I do a Christmas Eve party and my sister does Christmas Day.
“I do prawns which I get from the fish market and which are delicious, and on the day itself my sister will probably do a turkey and a ham.”
However, the 51-year-old actress’ celebrations are tinged with sadness because her family are still mourning her father Antony, who died in 2014.
She said in a recent interview: “It was very sudden. I think that for anyone who has lost a loved one suddenly, it’s a very different journey from the one if you’d been able to say goodbye.
“And it’s very, very hard because you miss a lot of things that you would have wanted to say to that person.
“There are so many things I wanted to say to my dad…. But, you know, I do still feel him here around me and it also puts time into a whole different perspective because it makes me realise I don’t want to waste any moment of it.”

Olly Murs reveals 80s themed Christmas plans

OHMYGOSSIP — Olly Murs is throwing a 1980s themed Christmas for his family this year.
The 34-year-old star – who was born on May 14, 1984 – will be celebrating with his family tomorrow (25.12.18) and he is going all-out to make sure it’s a day none of them will ever forget.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “It’s an 80s Christmas theme this year, 80s themed dinner, 80s themed outfits, 80s themed decorations.
“I’m channelling my inner 80s because I was born in the 80s.
The ‘Movies’ hitmaker revealed he’ll even be turning up in fancy dress as a giant Rubik’s Cube puzzle, and admitted he’s going all out with the “decor”.
He added: “The decor will be different and I’m going dressed as a Rubik’s Cube. I’m not sure how we’re going to do an 80s roast dinner but the 80s desserts will be good.”
His Christmas plans come after Olly recently admitted he hopes he can repair his relationship with his twin brother Ben one day after the pair fell out when the singer had to miss his sibling’s wedding because of his ‘X Factor’ commitments.
Speaking earlier this month, he said: “I hope [we make up]. It’s mad because every year I think it’s nine years, 10 years. I did text him this year for his birthday, I think he’s changed his number, but we’ll talk again.
“We’ll figure it out. Life is too short. Christmas is never the same.”
Meanwhile, the star has also revealed he is “happy” being single at the moment, although he hopes to find love one day.
He said: “I’m happy single. I don’t like talking about it, of course I’d love to be in love and have an amazing life with someone, that’s what everyone loves, but it seems to be the only thing people ask.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloe Kardashian has praised friendly exes Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick for vacationing together.
The former couple – who have children Mason, nine, Penelope, six and Reign, four, together – are enjoying a holiday in Mexico with their kids and Scott’s current girlfriend Sofia Richie, 20, and Khloe has taken to Twitter to praise the “amazing adults” for putting the children first.
After a fan tweeted: “This is co-parenting done right!!,” Khloe wrote: “Beyond proud of all of them!!!! This is LOVE!! Your children before anything else!! All amazing adults right right!!! (sic).”
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Sofia is eager to maintain a good relationship with Kourtney, 39, as she is serious about her relationship with Scott, 35.
An insider shared: “There has been and will continue to be things with Scott’s family life that bother Sofia, but she is trying to just deal without causing drama. She loves Scott and wants to be with him.
“She knows she will always be kind of the outsider, but she loves being around Scott and his kids.
“She knows that Kourtney isn’t her biggest fan and she understands that. Sofia and Kourtney will never be best friends, but Sofia is happy that she has proved to Kourtney that she is great with her kids.
“Sofia is hoping that her relationship with Scott lasts.”
Kourtney previously hit out at Scott for introducing their children to Sofia before she thought they were ready but they pair have now put the drama behind them.
Scott previously explained: “When we got home, the kids were there, so of course they met my girlfriend. Kourtney goes, ‘You’re a f***ing joke. You don’t care. We discussed with the therapist that we were going to wait.’ I said, ‘We discussed with the therapist that we were going to wait until after the new year and after the holiday!'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Debby Ryan is engaged to Josh Dun.
The 25-year-old actress – who stars in the Netflix comedy-drama series ‘Insatiable’ – and Josh, 30, have announced the news of their engagement via social media, with the musician posting photos of himself proposing to a tearful Debby on his Instagram account.
He captioned the romantic image: “I found a tree house in the woods in New Zealand and proposed to my girl. She my dude for life. I love you Debby (sic)”
Josh – who has been dating the actress off and on since 2013 – also posted a snap of Debby’s sparkling engagement ring.
What’s more, Debby has given her fans a behind-the-scenes look at her engagement via her social media accounts.
The actress wrote on Twitter: “I said yes! Well technically I said ‘NO WAY’ twice but I meant yes. (sic)”
Debby also shared her husband-to-be’s post on her Instagram Story, writing: “Prince of my life.”
Debby and Ryan – who have been given the collective nickname of ‘Jebby’ – reportedly split in 2014 before rekindling their romance in 2016.
However, during an interview earlier this year, Josh confessed to being “in love” with the actress.
He shared: “I’m in love and very happy. We’ve evolved and grown so much in our careers, in the relationship, as people since we first met.”
The Twenty One Pilots star admitted that the loved-up duo had developed into “each other’s biggest fans” since they first started dating five years ago.
Reflecting on how their relationship has evolved over the years, the drummer explained: “It’s cool and special to have that support system and we are each other’s biggest fans.”

Lamar Odom returning to pro basketball

OHMYGOSSIP — Lamar Odom will return to professional basketball for the first time since his near-fatal overdose.
The 39-year-old star – who suffered 12 strokes and six heart attacks while in a coma following an overdose in 2015 – will turn out for Mighty Sports, who play in the Philippines, on February 1st 2019 at The Dubai International Basketball Championship.
He wrote on Instagram: “I’d like to announce that I will be playing in The Dubai International Basketball Championship this February 1st 2019 !!!!!!! I will be representing team @mightysports_ph from the Philippines with my 4ever #7 ! To me this is a great warming up for the @thebig3 !! (sic)”
Lamar – who previously played for the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers in America’s NBA – and has now confirmed he came close to returning to basketball in China this year but didn’t feel physically fit enough.
He added: “It’s been a minute since I’ve professionally competed and I hope to be as explosive as I used to be! I was hoping to be ready for the Chinese CBA earlier this year but I didn’t feel that I was physically were I wanted to be. ( yet) I needed more time to recover from my multiple strokes and hearts attacks. Im not giving up and going in full force !! Patience and moving FORWARD is KEY! Lamar – who was married to Khloe Kardashian from 2009 to 2016 – recently described himself as a “walking miracle” after he nearly died following his overdose in Las Vegas.
He said: “All my doctors who see me say I’m a walking miracle. I had 12 strokes and six heart attacks while I was in the coma.”
The former ‘Khloe and Lamar’ star suffered kidney failure as a result of his overdose and spent time on life support before regaining consciousness.
He later checked into rehab to beat his drug demons and has admitted he counts his blessing every single day.
When asked recently if he’s over the drugs, Lamar said: “Yes, great, every day I’m alive.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sandra Bullock found it “really hard” to do her job in ‘Speed’ because she had a huge crush on co-star Keanu Reeves.
The ‘Ocean’s 8’ star has confessed she couldn’t keep her eyes off the “handsome” and “sweet” actor, who played the lead role of Los Angeles police officer Jack in the 1994 disaster movie, and struggled to be “serious” during filming the intense flick.
Appearing on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, she admitted: “I think about how sweet Keanu Reeves was and how handsome.
“It was really hard for me to be serious [during the filming of ‘Speed’]. He would look at me and I’d [giggle].”
When host Ellen quizzed the 54-year-old actress on whether or not she got to date Keanu, who is the same age as her, she replied: “Never. I guess there was something about me that he didn’t like.”
Meanwhile, Sandra – who has adopted children Louis, eight, and six-year-old Laila – opened up about the devastating death of her father John Bullock, who passed away at the age of 93 in September, and her two dogs within weeks.
She said: “My dad died. While my dad was dying we get a call … that our Dog Ruby, the two-legger, had a stroke.”
A few days later, she was told: “Your other dog has a heart tumour and she’s going to die in three days.”
The ‘Proposal’ star revealed how it all hit her days later and she burst out crying whilst taking a bath.
She recalled: “A week later I’m in the bathtub crying and the kids are like, ‘Is mommy okay?’ It’s life.”

Taylor Schilling wants her Orange Is the New Black character to live forever

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Schilling hopes her ‘Orange Is the New Black’ alter-ego Piper Chapman “lives on in perpetuity”.
The 34-year-old actress admits it’s difficult saying goodbye to the character, which she has played for 78 episodes since launching her career on the Netflix prison drama series in 2013, as the cast prepare for the final series next year.
The ‘Argo’ star – whose cast mates include Uzo Aduba (Suzanne ‘Crazy Eyes’ Warren), Laura Prepon (Alex Cause) and Kate Mulgrew (Galina ‘Red’ Reznikov – told Story + Rain: “This is a huge part of my life. I was young. I was 27, just so little … What I hope for Piper is that she lives on in perpetuity.
“That she finds some freedom, some self-acceptance.
“It’s been really interesting playing a character that has not found any internal resting point. With a lot of gratitude, is how I’d like to say goodbye.”
‘Orange Is the New Black’ – which follows the antics of the female prisoners of New York’s Litchfield Penitentiary – will bid farewell after its explosive seventh series next summer.
Meanwhile, Taylor has already signed up for a number of projects since, including the forthcoming thriller ‘The Prodigy’, in which she plays a mother concerned about her son’s bizarre behaviour which she thinks is the result of the supernatural, but after her current filming schedule ends, Taylor plans to take a well-deserved break, before figuring out what she’d like to do next.
She told the lifestyle platform: “This is a huge new chapter. I have a few projects coming out this spring–Orion Pictures’ thriller The Prodigy, and the Film Arcade comedy Family. And then I think I’m going to just be very quiet for a minute and see what enters, as opposed to chasing it.”
