Matt Willis grateful for Jamie Oliver’s tips

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Willis has praised “genius” Jamie Oliver for improving his Christmas cooking skills.
The Busted rocker – who has children Isabelle, nine, Ace, seven, and Trixie, two, with wife Emma – will be taking charge in the kitchen on December 25 and he admitted he wouldn’t be so “brilliant” at conjuring up the perfect traditional turkey dinner if it wasn’t for the celebrity chef’s tips.
He told OK! magazine: “Emma’s family are coming to our house this year. I love Christmas dinner, I do everything and I’m brilliant at it.
“A couple of years ago, I bought a Jamie Oliver Christmas Day app and now I’ve mastered it and I follow that.
“Thank you Jamie, you’re a genius!”
Meanwhile, Matt recently admitted he’s banned his kids from social media until they are much older because he’s “addicted” to photo-sharing app Instagram himself.
He said: “There is no social media in my home until I decide my children can have it.
“When my daughter is at secondary school, she can have a phone so I can contact her.
“At the moment they have no access to it and we don’t put them on there.
“I’m addicted to it myself, I’m constantly checking Instagram. It drives my wife nuts.”
Matt’s bandmate, Charlie Simpson – who has Arlo, three, and nine-month-old Jago with wife Anna – agrees with his social media stance.
He said: “You don’t want your kid to be the one who doesn’t have it, but I won’t let my kids go on social media until they’re at least 12.”
However, both stars – who are joined in the band by James Bourne, who has no children – are keen to have their kids follow in their musical footsteps.
Charlie said: “I want them to – Arlo’s really musical. “I’ll encourage it but I’ll also be very frank about the music industry today.”
Matt added: “I want my kids to go into music. I just got Ace his first bass for his birthday.”

No report filed against Asia Argento

OHMYGOSSIP — Jimmy Bennett has not filed a police report against Asia Argento.
Earlier this year, Jimmy, 22, claimed that he and Asia – whom he starred with in ‘The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things’ when he was eight and she played his mother – had sex at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Marina del Rey, California when he was 17 and she was 37. The legal age of consent in the state is 18.
However, he has yet to file a criminal complaint against Asia for allegedly sexually assaulting him and police have not been able to reach him, TMZ reports.
According to the website, the case has now been put on hold while officers continue to try to reach Jimmy, who last publicly spoke about the case on Italian TV in September.
Following Jimmy’s initial claims, Asia hit back, saying she was the victim during their sexual encounter and alleged she “froze” with fear.
Asia, 43, insisted she was left stunned when her friend Jimmy began to kiss her and touch her “in a way that was not that of a child with his mother, but that of a boy with crazy hormones”.
Appearing on Italian talk show ‘Non è l’Arena’ – one week after Jimmy was interviewed on it – she said: “He literally jumped on me; he put me sideways across the bed. He did what he had to do.
“It probably last for two minutes, he had an orgasm and didn’t use a condom. I didn’t feel pleasure and didn’t have an orgasm. After that I was cold, unable to move. Shocked, I asked him afterwards why he had done this, he told me, ‘You have been my sexual fantasy since I was 12.’ And then he took a selfie with me. How can you sexually assault a man? How can you make a guy have an erection without him wanting to?”
For her appearance on the show, Asia – the daughter of acclaimed horror director Dario Argento – brought with her proof that she had seen a therapist for trauma in July 2013, a few months after the sexual encounter with Jimmy.
The ‘Land of the Dead’ star went on to compare the incident to when she was allegedly raped by disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein in Cannes when she was 21.
She said: “I had not even defended myself in the meeting with Weinstein. I think it’s because of some childhood trauma.”
In the wake of Jimmy’s accusation, and claims that Asia’s late boyfriend Anthony Bourdain paid him $380,000 to keep quiet, the Italian starlet lost her job as a judge on ‘The X Factor Italy’ and she is adamant she deserves to get her job back because she has done nothing wrong.
Revealing she has had to send her son Nicola Civetta to go and live with his director-and-producer dad Michele Civetta in the US to prevent him from being bullied, she said: “After this story came out and someone started calling me a paedophile, I had to send my son live abroad, in the US with his father, because I feared he could be bullied in Italy.
“I’d like ‘X Factor Italy’ to take me back as a judge. I’ve done nothing wrong. My children are proud of me, Italy wants me, and I have not done anything that I’m accused of.”
Asia also has a daughter Anna Lou from her relationship with Bluvertigo singer Marco Castoldi.

Sir Rod Stewart reveals his Christmas wish

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Rod Stewart’s Christmas wish is for success for his beloved soccer team.
The 73-year-old music star – who is married to model Penny Lancaster – has claimed he already has everything he could ever wish for in life, but he’s still hoping for even more success for Celtic Football Club.
In a video posted on his Twitter account, Rod is asked what he wants for Christmas this year, and replies: “I’ve got everything in the world I could possibly have … I want Celtic FC to do well.
“I love Celtic. What would the world be without football?”
Despite the glamorous lifestyle she enjoys, Penny recently revealed she wants to “make a difference” as a police volunteer.
The 47-year-old model – who has been married to Rod since 2007 – joined the force for Channel 4 reality show ‘Famous and Fighting Crime’, and she admitted it has lit a fire in her.
Penny said: “Being a police volunteer, I felt like I was on the front line and reaching out to those people, and making a difference in their lives.”
Penny admitted she relished the experience – and the challenges it created.
She added: “I’ve embraced it. The prospect of becoming a police officer and get involved on the front line, and getting to grips with the local community really appealed to me.
“It sounded exciting – I thought, what a fantastic experience. But that was just on the surface.
“When I actually got involved it was far more serious than that to the point that I was doing long shifts, getting home at four in the morning and my husband was terrified at the stories I would tell him.”

David Beckham makes time for speech

OHMYGOSSIP — David Beckham makes his children watch the Queen’s Speech every Christmas.
The retired soccer star – who has children Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, and Harper, seven, with wife Victoria – is continuing a tradition started by his grandmother when he was growing up.
Discussing his festive plans, he said: “We always spend Christmas in London with family. My gran used to make us watch the Queen’s speech on Christmas Day, so that’s the one thing I make sure I continue with my children.”
And Victoria admitted December 25 is always “chaos” in their house.
She said: “Christmas Day is a great time for the kids – it’s chaos in the house. Because I’m undoing boxes and trying to find batteries for Harper’s toys, I don’t have a lot of time to get ready.”
But New Year’s Eve runs a lot more smoothly and she and her spouse like to get “dressed up” for some quality family time.
She added: “We always spend New Year’s Eve with the kids. It’s a good time to get dressed up and let your hair down.”
No doubt the former Spice Girls singer will have a hangover cure on hand for New Year’s Day as she recently admitted she was left with a “sore head” after a bash celebrating 10 years on her eponymous brand.
She said: “I’m been so lucky that I’ve been to lots of amazing parties over the years.
“But recently, I celebrated 10 years of my brand with a great party with British Vogue and that felt really special.
“It was just after my S/S’19 catwalk show, during London Fashion Week and I was surrounded by friends and family.
“I had a very sore head the next morning.”
While the 44-year-old designer loves a good party, she also really enjoys the hours before, when she prepares for the evening ahead.
Asked her secret to getting ready for a big night, she said: “Leave enough time! There’s nothing worse than rushing around just before you have to leave.
“Enjoy it – sometimes the best part of going out is the getting ready.
“I find a glass of wine actually helps the preparation process.
“As for when I get home – shoes off. Immediately. Especially if I’ve been dancing.”

Claire Richards enjoys festive feast

OHMYGOSSIP — Claire Richards always makes “too much food” over Christmas.
The Steps singer and her husband Reece Hill – who have Charlie, 11, and Daisy, eight, together – are set to host their loved ones on December 25 and the 41-year-old singer doesn’t want any of her guests to feel hungry.
She said: “It’s our turn to host our families. I love cooking for lots of people and, if we’re here, we will have about 25 for lunch. I’m often praised for my crispy roast potatoes.
“I always make way too much food because I never want anyone to go without.”
Claire has struggled with her fluctuating weight in the past, and though she’s shed six stone in recent years, she won’t be restricting her diet over the festive season because she knows it’s just for a few days.
She said in a recent interview: “I always indulge in my favourite things at Christmas – just for a couple of days. And if I want to eat a plate of roast potatoes with gravy, then I will.
“But then, the next day, I won’t. My favourite tipple is prosecco.”
And the ‘5,6,7,8’ hitmaker is a big fan of Christmas leftovers.
She added: “I’m a creature of habit and Christmas isn’t Christmas without a Baileys on ice and a turkey sandwich.
“I love Boxing Day too – bubble and squeak with cold meats and pickles.”

Marcus Mumford ‘hugely’ embarrassed by royal wedding yawn

OHMYGOSSIP — Marcus Mumford found it “hugely embarrassing” getting caught yawning at Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s wedding.
The Mumford & Sons frontman and his wife Carey Mulligan were guests at the royal couple’s ceremony at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May, which was watched by millions of people live on television, and the 31-year-old star admits he never expected to get much screen time as the likes of George and Amal Clooney and David and Victoria Beckham were in attendance.
Asked what it was like being filmed letting out a yawn at the most watched event of the year, Marcus told Rolling Stone: “Hugely embarrassing, obviously. I got more text messages for that than I got for headlining Glastonbury. It was a long morning.
“I was convinced that there wouldn’t be many cameras on us, because there’s all these f***ing famous people in the room. I said to my wife [actress Carey Mulligan] at one point, ‘Give me a smooch, babe.’
“She goes, ‘No way, there’s cameras everywhere.’
“And then, of course, they caught me yawning. “Amazing wedding, though.”
When quizzed on how he became friends with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the ‘I Will Wait’ hitmaker – who has children Evelyn, three, and Wilfred, 16 months, with the 33-year-old actress – coyly replied: “Privately. That’s probably all I’ll say about that.”
The ‘Drive’ star previously revealed she received “15,000” text messages after her spouse’s faux pas.
She recalled: “We were all chatting with my friends and my husband was like, ‘Give us a kiss’, and I was like, ‘I’m not going to give you a kiss there’s cameras’. He said, ‘Well George Clooney is here and Elton John is here and the Beckhams, they’re not filming us.'”
During an appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’, the talk show host interrupted to introduce a clip and said: “I’m glad you brought this up because I do actually have a clip here of Marcus Mumford, your sweetheart… We come to you and Marcus yawns. So when something like that happens and the whole world is watching, did you know he was on?”
Carey replied: “No we were convinced there were so many absurdly famous people that we were not going to be allowed on camera at all.
“Of course it finishes and we are allowed to turn our phones back on. We have 15,000 messages going, ‘Marcus you yawned on TV!'”

He captioned the clip: “Special here comes the bride cyrus/hemsworth remix for 2019. congratulations u two xo (sic)”
The couple had reportedly originally planned to wed over the festive season at their Malibu home, but after it was destroyed by the California wildfires last month, they shifted their celebrations to their house in the ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’ singer’s home state of Tennessee instead and had a “perfect” day.
A source told People magazine: “They always wanted a small, private celebration with family and close friends and that’s what they got. Miley seems ecstatic.

Future is a dad again

OHMYGOSSIP — Future has become a father for the fifth time.
The 35-year-old rapper and his girlfriend Joie Chavis – who already has seven-year-old daughter Shai with Bow Wow recently welcomed their first child together into the world, a son they have named Hendrix.
Joie shared a photo of the tot onto her Instagram account on Christmas Day (25.12.18), which was simply captioned with his name and an eagle emoji, as well as a second picture of Hendrix being cradled by Shai, which was captioned: “Merry Christmas.”
Future – who already had four other children from four previous relationships, including four-year-old Future Jr. with ex-fiancee Ciara – also shared the same picture of the tot alone on his Instagram Story, which he captioned with eagle and heart emojis and wrote: “Hendrix. Born King my King (sic)”.
The ‘Mask Off’ hitmaker – whose real name is Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn – used his Instagram account to also hit back at his critics.
He wrote: “”Guess what you found out today? Instagram pays you zero dollars for your comments, for your negative comments…(sic)”
The pair were first romantically linked to each other in 2017, but since then, Future has hailed Brittni Mealy, the mother of another of his kids, as his “queen” in an Instagram video.
However, last month, they seemed to confirm the rumours they were expecting a child together when the ‘Hndrxx’ rapper was seen among the guests at Joie’s Los Angeles baby shower.
This seemingly sparked a public row between Brittni and Future, as she wrote on her Instagram Story: “People do what they have to do to protect their assets. It’s too much money at risk.”
He replied: “Oh you thirsty thirst.”

Tristan Thompson’s basketball clashed with Christmas Day with True

OHMYGOSSIP — Tristan Thompson reportedly missed Christmas Day with True because of his basketball schedule.
The 27-year-old sports star wasn’t able to see his eight-month-old daughter open her presents as he didn’t have “a lot of flexibility” to travel to Los Angeles from Cleveland, due to having a number of games around the festive season.
Whilst Khloe, 34, wanted to spend the special time of year with her family, especially their famous Christmas Eve party.
An insider told E! News: “Khloe wanted to be in L.A. with her family for Christmas.
“There was nothing more special than seeing True with her cousins on Christmas morning.
“There was no way she was going to miss the family Christmas Eve party and being a part of opening presents all together on Christmas morning.
“She loves her family traditions and wants to continue them with True.
“She was so happy to be with True and her family on Christmas. That was all she wanted.”
And the ‘Revenge Body’ star said this year was her “favourite” yet because of her little girl.
She gushed alongside a picture of her wearing a matching snow outfit to the tot: “I have always looked forward to our annual Christmas Eve party but this year was hands down my favorite!!
“True, you make everything so much more precious and memorable!! (sic)”
Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan – who spent Thanksgiving with True and Khloe in Cleveland earlier this month – was caught on camera getting close to another woman just days before Khloe gave birth to their daughter in April, and whilst the couple have worked through their issues, the reality star’s famous family are said to still be getting to grips with Tristan’s actions.
A source said recently: “Everyone is trying to be civil and nice since Khloé wants them to. Khloé just wants to be supported in the decisions that she makes regarding Tristan.
“She always understood that her family was very upset and defensive after he cheated. That situation was such a nightmare for Khloé at a time that should have been her happiest.”
Khloe recently admitted that Tristan’s actions were “f***ed up and disgusting”, but insisted they’ve worked through their issues with “countless hours of help”.
When one fan said they were confused by Khloe’s position on Tristan’s scandal during Sunday’s (25.11.18) episode of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’, Khloe tweeted: “What he did was f***ed up and disgusting. What you’re watching is over seven months old. We have gone through countless hours of help.”

Coleen Nolan had Christmas with ex-husband

OHMYGOSSIP — Coleen Nolan had an “amazing” Christmas with her ex-husband.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist only finalised her divorce from Ray Fensome a few days ago but they felt it was important to focus on their 17-year-old daughter Ciara and had a “proper family” festive celebration together as they have redeveloped their friendship.
She said: “We got the final papers last week. Obviously it is sad, but there is also a massive sense of relief.
“People might think it is strange spending Christmas with my ex, but I have to focus on the good times we shared.
“However it ended up with me and Ray – and we are now divorced – more than three-quarters of our marriage was fabulous and we have got a beautiful daughter. I just think it is more important to focus on that.
“We have been able to go back to being maybe what we should have always been, which is great friends.
“We have got our friendship back and the things that would’ve irritated me when we were married don’t now, because I can walk away. I think it is the same for Ray.
“This Christmas really was amazing. Ciara made us all Christmas Eve boxes, which we opened together and Ray stayed over – in the spare room of course.
“I am like a child on Christmas morning. We all opened our presents together before me and Ray cooked the dinner.
“It really was amazing, a proper family Christmas with board games and lots of laughter.”
But the 53-year-old presenter – who also has sons Shane Jr, 30, and Jake, 26, with first husband Shane Richie – doesn’t think they’d have enjoyed such a happy day if she and Ray were still married.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Last Christmas was hard. We knew it was over and, whereas I am good at putting on a front, he’s not great at that.
“So there were moments of it being quite strained. He didn’t have Christmas dinner with us, he went and spent it in Blackpool with his mum.
“I think if we were still married, this Christmas would’ve been horrendous, too.”
Coleen admitted it was her teenage daughter who encouraged her to file for divorce, insisting her parents unhappiness wasn’t good for her.
She explained: “Ciara is much happier [now]. As much as I have always tried to protect my kids from any negativity, just as I did when my first marriage broke down, it was hard for her last year.
“It was actually Ciara who made my mind up about 18 months ago. She just said, ‘I can’t stand this, you need to split up, it’s not working, you are both unhappy, it is making me unhappy.’
“Whatever age your child is, when parents split up it is going to be hard.
“But when your child is actively encouraging the split, you know they are going to be fine with it.”

Hellboy is a killer in the 2019 reboot

OHMYGOSSIP — David Harbour says Hellboy turns into a killer in the 2019 reboot.
A new image of the red-horned superhero has been released of him fighting off Ian McShane’s Professor ‘Broom’ Bruttenholm – previously played by John Hurt in Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Hellboy’ franchise – and the actor has now teased that his titular beastly alter-ego becomes deadly in Neil Marshall’s forthcoming movie.
He tells the 2019 edition of Empire magazine: “There’s really a sense that you’re actually killing things, even if they are giants or monsters.
“You’re chopping their heads off, you’re bathing in their blood and you’re feeling the complex feelings of actually cutting the heart out of another thing.
“We’re taking the time to deal with the fact that Hellboy is a killer. He’s a weapon.”
The new movie will see ‘Stranger Things’ star Harbour taking over from Ron Perlman as the titular character.
The plot follows Hellboy as he battles with a medieval evil wizard who is hell-bent on destroying humankind.
Milla Jovovich will star as the Blood Queen and McShane as Professor Broom – the scientist who adopts the titular demon child.
Originally titled as ‘Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen’, it was previously reported that the reboot will simply go by the name of ‘Hellboy’.
Unlike the original franchise by del Toro – which was PG13 – this film will be R-rated, following in the footsteps of other successful R-rated movies including ‘Deadpool’ and ‘Logan’.
‘Hellboy’ creator Mike Mignola previously reassured fans that the new film – which follows 2004’s ‘Hellboy’ and 2008’s ‘Hellboy II: The Golden Army’ – will be loyal to the comic books and that he has had input to the script.
He said: “It’s funny, because my involvement has been very different than the del Toro movies.
“The difference is I had known del Toro for six years by the time we did the first movie. Neil I met a couple months before he worked on the movie.
“It was very different, but I have been involved ever since they said, ‘Hey we’re gonna make another ‘Hellboy’ movie, and we’re gonna do this story.’
“I’ve bounced back and forth with them about how to adapt this particular ‘Hellboy’ story. At various times I’ve jumped in and been much more active in the screenplay than I ever was on the del Toro movies.
“But I did nothing so far as design stuff on the movie. Guillermo wanted me as a concept artist, but on this movie, there were other concept artists.
“I came in and I looked at some stuff, but they were trying to do something so close to what’s on the comics that they really leaned on what had been done by Duncan [Fegredo] and me in the comics.”

Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly’s co-dependence

OHMYGOSSIP — Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly were “co-dependent” while shooting ‘Stan and Ollie’.
The two actors portray comedy legends Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy in the new movie and they quickly developed a close bond from working together, with the ‘Alan Partridge’ star praising his new pal for his work ethic and sense of fun.
He said: “I got to know him because we were working closely and we were co-dependent. It was a partnership. We were a team, and we had Jon S. Baird guiding us.
“John and me inevitably became friendly and close.
“What I learned from watching him is that he’s fastidious about his job. John is all about the work, with no star BS behaviour. He’s always about making it authentic and real.
“He would call things out sometimes, when they weren’t quite believable. A couple of scenes were re-shot because they didn’t quite ring true.
“He’s committed, very professional, and also good fun. We made each other laugh. It was an utter delight.”
The 53-year-old actor didn’t think the movie would have worked so well if he hadn’t forged a friendship with John.
He told Collider: “I wanted to make sure that John and I were well-matched in what we were doing, and that we built up a trust and a friendship to help us with the roles…
“When you’ve got a good partner, then you’ve got a job halved.”
Steve also admitted he felt “anxious” about not doing “justice” to the real Stan.
He said: “I could do an impersonation of him, but I didn’t want the role to be a superficial facsimile of who Stan was. I wanted to do him justice. … I was anxious about it not having depth.
“Impersonating someone is quite useful sometimes, but it can be fraught with danger and only skin deep. I was anxious about that, and wanted to make sure that wasn’t the case.
“The other thing was the physicality, but I knew that if I put the work in, I could get that right. There’s a great clown advisor, called Toby Sedgwick, who taught us tips on how to move, gestures, physicality, and dancing. Once we were off to the races, we knuckled down and I thought it was doable, especially with John.”

Noel Gallagher cured Marcus Mumford’s writer’s block

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher inspired Marcus Mumford to “get off his a**” and start writing the band’s latest album after a period of writer’s block.
The 31-year-old frontman has revealed a chance meeting with the 51-year-old ‘Wonderwall’ hitmaker at a bar gave him the push he needed to head back into the studio to write songs for the record that became this year’s chart-topper, ‘Delta’.
He recalled to Rolling Stone: “I was in a bar with Noel Gallagher last year, and I say, ‘I’m taking a break. I’m finding it hard to write.’
“He’s like, ‘What the f**k are you talking about? Go write a f**king song!’
“The next week, I wrote ‘Delta’ and ‘Guiding Light’, because Noel Gallagher told me to get off my a**.”
The former Oasis star’s frank talk paid off, as the album shot to number one in the UK.
Meanwhile, the folk rockers – completed by Ben Lovett, Winston Marshall and Ted Dwane – believe the critically acclaimed record is the start of a new chapter in their musical journey.
Keyboardist Ben said: “I think ‘Delta’ is as close to the heart of what Mumford & Sons is all about.
“Rather than being from something that we have been defined by, this feels like what we should be defined by because we’ve put a lot of effort into making this a statement.
“It feels closer than ever to us as people — and is us moving forward. It feels like a bit of a period that is about to begin.”
He added that the group has also sought to improve and develop their songwriting, and suggested they have matured together.
He added: “Our desire has always been to get better at what we do, with our music and our writing. We’ve changed quite a lot and I think we’ve grown up.
“We’ve grown together. We are on a wavelength. We are a hell of a lot less naive than we were ten years ago.”

Kerry Katona has movie time at Christmas

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona’s children can’t talk to her for “four hours” on Christmas Day.
The former Atomic Kitten singer – who has Molly, 17, and Lilly-Sue, 15, with ex-husband Brian McFadden, Heidi, 11, and Max, 10, with second spouse Mark Croft and four-year-old Dylan-Jorge with third husband George Kay – relies on her mum to prepare a traditional turkey feast for her brood on December 25 because she likes to get some peace and quiet to watch her favourite movie.
She said: “In the morning we’ll all be together opening presents and then for four hours, the kids aren’t allowed to talk to me because my tradition is to watch the entirety of ‘Gone with the Wind’.
“I have a glass of champagne in the morning then we start prepping the veg and the turkey while I chat away with Mum. She’s the most amazing cook – that’s the reason she’s coming.
“I couldn’t have Christmas dinner without her, I’m useless in the kitchen.”
This year will be a quieter Christmas for Kerry because it’s her eldest daughters’ paternal grandparents turn to have the teenagers for the holiday.
She told new! magazine: “This year I haven’t got Molly and Lilly. I do alternate years with Brian’s parents – not Brian himself, he lives in Rochdale – so this year I’m with my mum and the little three…
“It never feels like Christmas when all five aren’t with me.
“Every year I have to overcome that because otherwise I’d get really miserable and that’s not fair on the little ones.
“When the family’s not all together, it affects me.”

Cheryl Tweedy and Liam Payne to spend Christmas together?

OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl Tweedy has invited Liam Payne to spend Christmas with her.
The 35-year-old popstar split from the 25-year-old singer earlier this year but they have remained cordial for the sake of their son Bear, 20 months, and she reportedly hopes they can spend Christmas together as a family.
A source told Closer magazine: “Cheryl doesn’t want either of them to spend Christmas apart from Bear. She thought that by inviting Liam it would bring them all together as a family.
“Liam’s really grateful and hopes he can make it.”
Liam and Cheryl announced in July that they had ended their two-and-a-half-year romance.
They said in a statement posted to their respective Twitter accounts: “We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It’s been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.”
Cheryl recently admitted that Liam “maybe” felt excluded when they had their son because she was consumed by a “bubble of love” for the little boy and had little time for anyone else.
She said: “When I think back to the early days of new motherhood, I was in such a bubble of love, I actually don’t think I saw anyone else.”
Asked if Liam felt excluded, she said: “Maybe. Maybe.”
Liam had wanted children from the age of just 16 and was keen to “settle down” with Cheryl – but she suggested the reality wasn’t what the ‘Polaroid’ singer had expected.
She said: “He wanted to settle down and have a family and not do the solo thing.
“Then we encouraged him to do that. And then it didn’t work out.”
Asked if it wasn’t what he wanted after all, she simply replied: “You’ll have to ask him that.”
But the former Girls Aloud singer can understand why it was “hard” for Liam to juggle fatherhood with his solo career, while she took a break to be with the baby.
She said: “He was almost having two lives. You have to switch your head onto pop star and then switch it back to daddy.”

Emily Blunt’s emotional musical performance

OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Blunt found it “virtually impossible” to shoot her first musical number for ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ because she was so emotional.
The 35-year-old actress – who has daughters Hazel, four, and Violet, two, with husband John Krasinski – struggled with performing the moving song as the titular character because it turned her thoughts to her own family.
She explained: “The first few times I sang ‘The Place Where Lost Things Go’, I was so moved by it, I found it virtually impossible to get through it.
“It was so emotional for me because I did think of my own children and these children in the film – their sense of loss, trying to hold their father together.
“They have dealt with something so agonising and profound – to lose a parent and to be so young and miss her so much.”
Emily refused to rewatch the original ‘Mary Poppins’ movie before she started filming the sequel and thinks she made the right decision because she was “floored” when she went back to the 1964 classic – which starred Dame Julie Andrews as the magical nanny – after shooting had wrapped.
She said: “Although I’d seen it as a child, I decided not to watch the original so close to shooting our version. I just decided to go on my gut instinct.
“As soon as we wrapped, I watched the original and was just floored by it. I was probably relieved that I hadn’t watched it because I was like, ‘Oh my God, she’s amazing.’ ”
Instead, the British star found P.L. Travers’ original novels “enormously helpful” when it came to preparing for the part.
She told Britain’s OK! magazine: “I found the books enormously helpful.
“She leapt off the page at me, just in how complicated she is.
“She’s stern, incredibly rude and vain but funny, and yet there’s this humanity.
“She has such a childlike wonder and is probably a bit of an adrenaline junkie. She’s so enigmatic.
“It was such a delicious character to play. Loved her.”
