Mark Ronson settles divorce

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Ronson has settled his divorce from Joséphine de La Baume.
The ‘Uptown Funk’ hitmaker and his former spouse filed for divorce back in 2017 after a little more than five years together and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.
And now, according to The Blast, the former couple have now officially divorced, after they quietly settled the terms of their split in court earlier this year.
Court documents obtained by the publication state the date of the divorce as October this year, and although the terms of the divorce are sealed, the pair did not have any children, and so no spousal support or custody arrangements were needed.
Both parties are now thought to be single, with Mark – who recently released ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’, his collaboration with the newly married Miley Cyrus – having previously been linked to singers Samantha Urbani and Rebecca Schwartz in the past year.
Prior to their split, model Joséphine had revealed she was stunned when Mark proposed to her and was amazed that he had worked on the design of the ring himself.
She said: “Mark proposed on the beach in La Rochelle – I had no idea whatsoever. He designed the ring – it’s a yellow diamond, so beautiful…
“I didn’t want to get married. I couldn’t imagine myself in a cupcake dress – that’s why I’m not going to have one! I always had a fantasy about having children so I just thought I’d get married, I don’t know, when I was pregnant with my second child.
“I got so super-excited when it happened – even more excited than annoying girls in romantic comedies.”

Man accused of killing Sarah Hyland’s cousin charged with manslaughter

OHMYGOSSIP — The man accused of killing Sarah Hyland’s cousin in a car crash has been charged with manslaughter.
Jeffrey Eggeling had originally been charged with three felonies – motor vehicle homicide with a DUI prior conviction, DUI causing serious bodily injury, and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident resulting in death – after he crashed into another car containing the ‘Modern Family’ actress’ uncle and 14-year-old cousin Trevor Canaday, who was ejected from the vehicle and later died from his injuries.
But now, according to the Omaha World-Herald, it has been revealed the 36-year-old man has had extra charges brought against him, including manslaughter and assault.
The charges were added during a preliminary court hearing on Friday (28.12.18), and Eggeling – who was allegedly travelling at 20 miles over the speed limit while his blood-alcohol level tested at .103 – remains in jail on a $750,000 bond as he awaits his trial.
Trevor’s family set up a GoFundMe page following his passing which aims to fund his funeral and his father’s ongoing medical expenses, and Sarah – who donated $1,000 to the page – recently said she’s taking a break from social media “for a while” after critics slammed her for asking fans to donate to the cause.
She tweeted: “I’d like to ask those who have negative thoughts or opinions about the tragedy that happened to my family, to keep them to themselves. You don’t know all the details. And how dare you attack when a beautiful life has been lost.
“You guys finally did it. Your horrible negative ignorant words have broken me. Happy? Staying offline for a while. I have a special announcement and video releasing on Wednesday I believe. So. There’s that. (sic)”
Sarah had taken to her Instagram Stories to encourage her six million followers to donate to Trevor’s GoFundMe page.
She wrote: “This is my 14 year old cousin Trevor. Yesterday, he was killed by a drunk driver. My uncle is still in the hospital in need of more surgeries. (sic)”

Lucy Hale wants to do musical theatre

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy Hale would “love” to take part in a musical production.
The former ‘Pretty Little Liars’ actress is looking to branch out into musical theatre after wrapping the final season of the hit ABC drama last year, as she says she’s already been to several auditions, although she’s yet to secure a role.
When asked if she’d be interested in musical theatre, she said: “I actually auditioned for the ‘Rent’ that they’re doing right now. I’ve auditioned for a couple of them, and I’ve gotten close, and then things just didn’t work out. So, yes, I would definitely love to do that.”
Lucy, 29, already has plenty of singing experience, as prior to landing her role as Aria in ‘Pretty Little Liars’, she was crowned as one of the winners of ‘American Juniors’ – the ‘American Idol’ spin-off show that lasted just one season back in 2003.
On top of her talent show victory, she also dropped a country album in 2014, and the star hopes to be able to bring her two talents together on stage.
Speaking to Parade magazine, she said: “I think at some point, it’ll work out in some way, shape, or form, but I love music, and I think that if I can find a way to utilise it through acting, I think that that more works for where I’m at in life right now. So yeah, we’ll see, but I am excited to see ‘Rent’. I think that they found a really good cast, and I’m excited to see what they do with it.”

Dame June Whitfield has died

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame June Whitfield has died at the age of 93.
The iconic actress – who starred in the long-running sitcoms ‘Terry and June’ and ‘Absolutely Fabulous’, as well as ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ and the ‘Carry On’ film franchise – “passed away peacefully” on Friday (28.12.18) night, according to her agent, who confirmed the news on Saturday (29.12.18).
As of the time of writing, June’s cause of death is not known to the public, although she revealed in a recent radio interview that she was suffering from ill health, as she joked she could only play the role of someone “in bed going to sleep” if she was to return to acting.
The actress had a lengthy career spanning over eight decades, and was made a Dame in the 2017 birthday honours for her services to drama and entertainment, after having received the OBE in 1985 and the CBE in 1998.
June is survived by her 58-year-old daughter Suzy, whom she had with her husband Terry Aitchinson, who passed away in 2001.
And following the news of her tragic passing, her former co-stars and crew members have paid tribute on social media, including from Joanna Lumley, starred with her in ‘Absolutely Fabulous’.
Posting a picture of the two together, Joanna wrote on Twitter: “Sad news just in.. The brilliant and gorgeous June Whitfield has sadly passed away at the age of 93. Thoughts go out to her family and friends.”
Whilst Julia Sawalha, who played her granddaughter Saffy in the show, said: “Thank you Dame June Whitfield, for teaching me my craft with such grace and dignity.
“I always wanted you to know how in awe of you I was, however, you were always far too humble to accept my adoration. You were a great source of inspiration to me. Bye-bye Gran.”
Shane Allen, controller of BBC Comedy, also released a statement in which he dubbed June as “the North Star of British comedy”.
He said: “June Whitfield was the North Star of British comedy.
“Her spectacular career is unparalleled in its longevity, with seven decades of being a key element in numerous high profile and successful shows.
“She was the go-to female comedy performer of her generation and was always in demand from the cream of British comedy.
“She led the way for female comedy and we owe her enormous respect. Our thoughts go out to family and friends at this sad time.”
In total, Dame June Whitfield appeared in more than 1,300 radio and television shows during her impressive career.

Lady Gaga feels misunderstood

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga gave an emotional speech about feeling “misunderstood” at the opening show of her Las Vegas residency on Friday (28.12.18).
The 32-year-old singer kicked off her ‘Enigma’ residency in the Nevada city this week, and performed ‘A Star Is Born’ song ‘Shallow’ – which she recorded with co-star Bradley Cooper – live for the first time.
But before launching into the track – in which she sang both her and Bradley’s parts – she gave a moving speech, thanking her fans for always sticking by her and helping her feel more confident in herself, as she said she felt “misunderstood” early in her career after being treated differently because of the way she dressed and talked.
She told the audience: “I love you so much. I’ve known some of you for so long. And for a really long time, I felt so misunderstood. I thought the way I dressed, the way I talk, the attitude, they thought it was shallow. But this s**t is deep as f**k. I love you so much. I’m so proud to be your star, but the truth is, you gave birth to me.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Million Reasons’ hitmaker’s manager Bobby Campbell, recently admitted that her two-part residency in Sin City represents a new chapter in Gaga’s career.
He said: “The past eight years of her life has been touring the world in stadiums and arenas.
“Scaling down to a theatre and living with the production limitations of a smaller space isn’t easy. I think fans will be really excited by what we’ve come up with, but it certainly hasn’t come without its challenges.”

Ariana Grande ‘rejected a Damehood’

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande has reportedly rejected a Damehood.
The 25-year-old singer was offered the accolade after she visited the victims of last year’s Manchester bombing and for subsequently arranging a charity concert in the city – but Ariana has declined the offer in a show of respect for the grieving families.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “Ariana was flattered but said it was too soon. She explained she was still grieving. So were scores of families.
“She feared some affected might see it as insensitive. The committee wrote to her but she politely said no.”
According to another source, Ariana felt honoured to have been offered a Damehood.
However, she also felt “it was not the right time to accept”.
The insider shared: “She was deeply moved and honoured. She didn’t decline it as such but explained it was not the right time to accept.”
The bombing occurred shortly after Ariana had finished a gig at the Manchester Arena on May 22 last year.
The explosion caused 23 deaths and more than 500 injuries – and led to Ariana arranging a televised benefit gig shortly afterwards.
In a subsequent interview, Ariana admitted that the incident in Manchester had changed her approach to life, revealing she now feels scared to visit some places.
The chart-topping star – who is one of the world’s best-selling pop acts – explained: “You want to not be afraid, because of course that’s what [the terrorists] want. If you give them that, then they’ve won.
“But the truth is, it’s scary. It’s scary going anywhere. You look at places differently.”

Kelly Brook: Loosing weight has improved my sex life

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Brook’s recent weight loss has boosted her sex life.
The 39-year-old model has lost more than 15lbs in just two months, and Kelly has claimed it’s helped to improve her life in the bedroom with her French boyfriend Jeremy Parisi.
She shared: “I’m randy as anything, it’s boosted my sex life.
“I think when you lose weight you definitely do want to have more sex. It’s about body confidence, you’ve got more energy, you just feel so much better, it’s nice.”
Kelly – who first found fame during her teens – joked that Jeremy had previously been teasing her about her weight gain.
She told Fabulous Digital: “My boyfriend said I looked like a little balloon, it wasn’t just trolls it was him as well.
“I told my mum she should stop drinking once and she said ‘you should stop eating’.
“My family are quite real with me, I’m not living in some dream world. It was pretty apparent everyone was like ‘what are you going to do about it?’
“You can be a little bit podgy but it was like laziness for me, so I was like ‘OK I need to figure this out.'”
Kelly explained that in spite of her recent weight loss, she is determined to not lose her curves entirely.
She said: “I don’t want to lose my curves, I don’t want to lose my boobs and my bum and be really skinny.
“I have been really skinny in my life, but that was more due to anxiety and stress and not very nice periods of my life.
“I don’t want a skinny face. I don’t mind having a bigger bum but I wanted my waist to be thinner, that was my key. I don’t mind the rest of it being a bit curvier.”

Sofia Richie joins Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian on vacation

OHMYGOSSIP — Sofia Richie has joined boyfriend Scott Disick and his ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian on holiday in Aspen, Colorado.
The 20-year-old model – who is the younger daughter of singer Lionel Richie – has been spotted on vacation with the former couple in the popular skiing destination, where she’s also been joined by the likes of Kim Kardashian West, Kanye West and Kendall Jenner.
Sofia appears to have become even more integrated into the Kardashian family over recent months, after she recently went on a shorter getaway to Mexico earlier this month.
Scott and Kourtney – who have kids Mason, nine, Penelope, six, and Reign, four, together – split in 2015, but they have subsequently remained close.
Meanwhile, an insider recently revealed that Sofia is eager to maintain a good relationship with Kourtney, 39, as she is serious about her relationship with Scott, 35.
The model hopes to avoid any “drama” with the brunette beauty and despite the potentially awkward family dynamic, Sofia loves spending time with Scott and Kourtney’s three children.
The insider shared: “There has been and will continue to be things with Scott’s family life that bother Sofia, but she is trying to just deal without causing drama.
“She loves Scott and wants to be with him. She knows she will always be kind of the outsider, but she loves being around Scott and his kids.
“She knows that Kourtney isn’t her biggest fan and she understands that. Sofia and Kourtney will never be best friends, but Sofia is happy that she has proved to Kourtney that she is great with her kids. Sofia is hoping that her relationship with Scott lasts.”

Beyonce and Jay-Z are ‘closer than ever’

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyonce and Jay-Z are said to be “closer than ever” following their recent tour as a double act.
The married couple – who have six-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and 18-month-old twins Rumi and Sir together – concluded their ‘On The Run II Tour’ in October after travelling around the world with their family, and sources have said the experience brought them all closer together.
An insider told People magazine: “It was a very special year for the whole family. Beyoncé and Jay loved touring and connecting with their fans.
“They enjoyed bringing their whole family on tour. It was like a big adventure for everyone. They loved showing Blue around Europe, enjoyed solo date nights and family fun. Beyoncé and Jay seem closer than ever. They are very grateful for another wonderful year together. They are definitely looking back at this year with huge smiles.”
The comments come after ‘Halo’ hitmaker Beyonce reminisced on her biggest accomplishments of 2018 in a heartfelt letter to her fans back in September.
In a post on her website titled ‘Your B***h at 36’ – which was posted in honour of her 37th birthday on September 4 – she wrote: “At 36, I became a mother of three. I breastfed twins. I renewed vows with my husband of ten years.
“I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released our album together, ‘Everything is Love’. And we’ve been touring with our whole family around the world, and loving it.”
But the couple’s tour wasn’t without its issues though, as they were forced to finish a show early in Atlanta in August, after a stage invasion saw an unidentified man climb onto the stage.
Back-up dancers quickly rushed towards the intruder, who was trying to make his way backstage, and Yvette Noel-Schure, Beyonce’s publicist, subsequently reassured fans that everything was fine following the incident.
She wrote on Instagram: “Thank you to all the fans for your concern. They are fine and looking forward to the show tomorrow.”

Kanye West slams Drake for following Kim Kardashian West on Instagram

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West has hit out at Drake again – after he noticed that Drake follows his wife Kim Kardashian West on Instagram.
The 41-year-old music mogul went on a social media rant against the ‘Hotline Bling’ hitmaker earlier this month when he accused Drake of avoiding him, but going behind his back to ask for clearance to use ‘Say What’s Real’, a song from his 2009 mixtape ‘So Far Gone’, which was produced by Kanye.
And now, Kanye has fired fresh shots at Drake on Twitter, after he noticed that the fellow rapper had followed Kanye’s wife Kim – with whom he has North, five, Saint, three, and Chicago, 11 months – on Instagram back in September.
The ‘Heartless’ hitmaker wrote: “I never knew till this morning that Drake followed my wife on Instagram back in September
“I had to bring this up because it’s the most fucked up thing of all and I just saw it this morning
“Imagine having a problem with somebody and they follow your wife on Instagram (sic)”
But Kanye quickly diffused any tension when he followed up his tirade with another tweet declaring that he and Kim wish Drake “the best”.
He added: “We truly wish this man the best and pray that he will find the same happiness that we have (sic)”
In Kanye’s original rant earlier this month, he claimed he’d been trying to meet with the ‘God’s Plan’ rapper for “six months”, but said Drake had ignored him whilst still speaking to his mother-in-law Kris Jenner, as well as Travis Scott – who is dating Kylie Jenner, the sister of Kim.
He wrote: “Been trying to meet with you for 6 months bro You sneak dissing on trav records and texting Kris talking bout how’s the family (sic)”
Meanwhile, Drake seemed unfazed by the outburst, as he took to his Instagram story at around the same time to simply share a series of laughing emojis, which seemed to be aimed at Kanye’s tweets.

Lottie Moss ‘loses chihuahua at Christmas party’

OHMYGOSSIP — Lottie Moss reportedly lost her pet chihuahua at a Christmas party after having too many drinks.
The 20-year-old model – who is the younger half-sister of fashion icon Kate Moss – had to return to a house party the following day after forgetting to take her £1,000 puppy, Lulu, home with her the previous night.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “Lottie, just like Kate, loves to party and have a drink. She brought Lulu to a house party, as lots of her pals wanted to meet her. She mainly carried Lulu due to her size but she knew it would be a safe environment for her dog to roam free if she put her down.
“As the night went on, Lottie became the life and soul of the bash. She spent a lot of time flirting with a mystery hunk. They snuck off together for a bit to get some alone-time and Lottie later went home in the early hours of the next morning.
“The only problem was she forgot to take Lulu home with her. So, it was left to her pals to take care of her. Fortunately, Lottie realised the next morning and went to pick up her pooch with her tail between her legs. She felt incredibly guilty.”
Meanwhile, Lottie revealed in April that she has questioned whether she’s only successful because of her half-sister.
She previously said: “I’ve had moments when I’ve thought I’m not pretty enough and that I’m only here because of Kate.
“Maybe I did only get it because of Kate but at least I’m doing something with it. And my agency has told me that, no matter whose sister you are, you still have to be good at modelling.”

John C. Reilly felt reluctant to accept Oliver Hardy role

OHMYGOSSIP — John C. Reilly was reluctant to take on the role of Oliver Hardy in ‘Stan & Ollie’ because he didn’t want to gain weight.
The 53-year-old actor has admitted that at first, he was not keen to portray the portly comedian because he wasn’t “willing to gain a hundred pounds” and wanted to leave Laurel and Hardy’s legacy untouched.
John told Collider: “I was reluctant because I don’t really do impressions. That’s not really my thing.
“And then, the second thing was that I don’t weigh nearly as much as Oliver, and I wasn’t willing to gain a hundred pounds.
“But the main trepidation I had was that I didn’t want us to make a film about these guys that would end up being a liability to them. To me, they’re in a perfect place already.
“Their films are brilliant, I love them, and they changed my life.
“I didn’t want to add anything to the conversation that would distract from that, so I had to be convinced, early on, from Jon Baird, the director, that we were gonna really do it well, and that we were gonna tell a story that you can’t find out on Wikipedia.”
But the ‘Ralph Breaks The Internet’ revealed that meeting with Jon and seeing the “computer mock-up” of what he was going to look like convinced him to jump on board.
The actor said: “I saw that Jon really, really believed in me. At one point, he said, ‘I’m not sure this movie is gonna happen, if you don’t do it.’
“That was some added pressure. Then, I saw the computer mock-up of what the make-up might look like and I thought, ‘Wow, I’m gonna look like him, for sure.'”

Dominic West reveals admiration of TV documentary maker

OHMYGOSSIP — Dominic West is a huge fan of documentary-maker Stacey Dooley.
The 49-year-old actor has revealed he loves watching the TV presenter – who has been making social-issue-themed documentaries for BBC Three for almost a decade – in action, saying she’s one of the people he most admires.
Dominic – who has kids Martha, 20, Dora, 12, Senan, ten, and Francis, nine – told the Guardian newspaper: “She does incredible documentaries – in one, she took spoiled British kids to the Philippines to work in a factory. It’s exactly what my kids need to watch.”
Dominic also admitted to feeling hugely protective of his children.
Asked to name his greatest fear, the film and TV star confessed: “That I would not be able to protect my children.”
Meanwhile, Dominic recently claimed that raising his children in a castle in Ireland has given them a “far broader existence” than they could find elsewhere.
The actor lives in the spectacular surrounds of a castle in Glin, and he believes it’s the perfect place to bring up a family.
He said: “Glin enriches my life and my kids’ lives in terms of identity and continuum.”
Dominic is confident his children will ultimately benefit from being surrounded by Irish culture during their youth.
And he’s insisted there’s nowhere else in the world he would rather raise his kids.
He explained: “My children are surrounded by Irish wit and humanity. They have a far broader existence than they would anywhere else in the world.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande has wished her fans a happy 2019.
The 25-year-old pop star has taken to her Twitter account to extend her best wishes for next year to her 59.8 million followers on the micro-blogging platform.
Ariana tweeted: “i hope next year is beautiful for u (sic)”
The brunette beauty has endured a particularly turbulent time in 2018, which has included her high-profile split from ‘Saturday Night Live’ star Pete Davidson and the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller in September.
Despite this, Ariana has also enjoyed considerable success in 2018, including the launch of her much-discussed ‘Thank U, Next’ music video.
Following its release, Reese Witherspoon thanked Ariana for paying homage to ‘Legally Blonde’ in the video.
The award-winning actress took to her Twitter account to show her appreciation for Ariana, whose video for ‘Thank U, Next’ sees the chart-topping pop star imitate the character of Elle Woods from the hit movie series.
Alongside an image of herself and Ariana dressed as Elle, Reese wrote on the platform: “Thank u, next [clapping emoji] [love heart emoji] @ArianaGrande #ElleWoodsForever (sic)”
Ariana subsequently reached out to Reese on Twitter, admitting she tried to distinguish her look from that of the movie.
And she also thanked Reese for her kind words.
Ariana wrote: “omg we tried to put our own twist on it so legal wouldn’t come for us but THANK U. this is the biggest honor. love u more than words. [love heart emoji] (sic)”

Rihanna teases fans about new album in Instagram video

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna has teased her fans about her new studio album on Instagram.
The pop icon – who last week confirmed that her long-awaited follow-up to ‘Anti’ will be released sometime in 2019 – has taken to social media to joke about the anticipation surrounding the album.
The singer posted a video to her Instagram Stories that featured her waving a wad of cash, smiling and blowing a kiss to the camera and wrote: “‘Where the album?'”
“Me: sorry my connection poor. (sic)”
There is still no official word on when exactly in 2019 fans can expect Rihanna’s ninth studio album to drop.
Kuk Harrell – who worked with the star on ‘Anti’, as well as co-writing her hit songs ‘Umbrella’ and ‘Only Girl (In the World)’ – recently responded to one of the 30-year-old singer’s fans who asked for an update on Rihanna’s new music.
During an Instagram Live, they asked him: “How’s R9?”, to which he replied: “R9 is great. R9 is amazing. It’s incredible, And that’s all I’m going to say.”
Rihanna previously assured fans that she’s working on new material.
And although it’s not quite ready yet because she’s been busy focusing on her lingerie line, her make-up collection and film work – including ‘Ocean’s 8’ – Rihanna confirmed the new tracks will arrive in the near future.
Responding to a fan on Instagram who asked where her new music was, she replied: “I know I know sis. I’m doing music. Simultaneously doing lingerie, makeup, film, amongst a couple other things that I enjoy.
“When the music is ready, you won’t have to ask for it. But it’s coming. Just not today sis. I’m hype too tho, it can’t come soon enough. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Christian Bale just “wings it” on set.
The ‘Vice’ star has long been praised for his commitment to each character he takes on during his career but he insists he doesn’t follow method acting and also doesn’t “really have a particular technique”.
Speaking on Good Morning America, he said: “I always think, ‘Oh, man, I can’t do this. I dunno what I’m doing.’ Everyone always says I’m a method actor; I’m not – you have to study Stanislavski [the Russian acting coach who developed a strict training system] to be a method actor. I just wing it. I don’t really have a particular technique, I just go, ‘Alright, let’s see what happens now.'”
Meanwhile, Christian previously revealed how he believes it his obsession with his art form that makes him a great actor.
For his portrayal of insomniac Trevor Reznik in ‘The Machinist’, he lost 62 pounds reducing his body mass to just 120 pounds, whilst for his acclaimed performances as Batman in ‘The Dark Knight’ trilogy he built up his muscle and physique to be the Gotham City saviour.
However, Bale doesn’t worry about the long-term effects his body transformations have on him because he feels as though he’s “invincible” and he believes it is his total commitment to his work which allows him to give such memorable performances.
He shared: “I keep thinking I’m invincible. I like obsession. I hope that it stays as healthy obsession. There’s just always been an image which struck me incredibly. Jimi Hendrix playing guitar, eyes closed, looking like he’s in ecstasy, creating beautiful music … and I don’t know if I imagined the blood or not but blood flowing from his fingers. I don’t care if it really happened or not but the point for me is that he completely ignores the pain because of the ecstasy. I enjoy that level of obsession and think that viewers deserve performers to take it to that level if necessary.”
