Soulja Boy: Kanye West is ‘disrespecting’ black culture

OHMYGOSSIP — Soulja Boy has doubled down on comments he made about Kanye West’s support of US president Donald Trump, saying he’s “disrespecting” black culture.
The 28-year-old rapper recently slammed Kanye for supporting the controversial figurehead and said he wouldn’t be “holding [his] tongue” when it comes to his opinions any longer.
And now, Soulja Boy has said he won’t consider working with the 41-year-old music mogul until he “tightens up” his act, as he referenced the infamous moment at the VMAs in 2009 when he interrupted Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech.
He said: “I would love to get back in the studio with Kanye, but Kanye, you gotta tighten up. I don’t like what you’ve been doing. You run on the stage and you take the mic from Taylor Swift. How disrespectful are you? … Do you know what I would’ve done if he did that to my little sister? She’s having an acceptance speech for an award and you disrespectfully grab the mic out of her hand? What is wrong with you, Kanye? I don’t want to make no music with you right now until you tighten up. You’re disrespecting our culture. You’re wearing a Trump hat. You know what you’re doing.”
The ‘Crank That’ hitmaker even believes he could be to blame for Kanye being “arrogant”, as he says he once “slammed the van door in his face” when he first found fame as a 16-year-old rapper.
He added to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I love Kanye. The proof is in the pudding. I’m the reason why Kanye is stuck up and he acts cocky. Because when I was a 16-year-old kid and I had the number one song in the world with ‘Crank That,’ I didn’t know who Kanye was. My manager tried to introduce me to him and I slammed the van door in his face saying, ‘Get out of my face.’ And ever since then he’s just been so arrogant.
“If I really did make Kanye act like that then I apologise. But I love Kanye … There’s no beef.”
Soulja Boy’s comments come after he said black people had endured “too much s**t” for Kanye to be supportive of Donald Trump.
He said: “You up here supporting Trump and s**t. You supporting Trump, bruh? What the f**k wrong with you, bruh. That s**t not right, bruh. I have sat back long enough and I’m not holding my tongue no more, bruh. Kanye, call me, get in tune with me cause if not I’m going to keep checking you.
“My folks went through too much s**t for you to be out here doing this goofy s**t. My grandaddy been through too much, my grandma and great grandaddy, they from Mississippi and they from Mississippi, we went through slavery and s**t. You gotta put on for the black community.”

Gwyneth Paltrow talks to Chris Martin every day

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow talks to her ex-husband Chris Martin “every day”.
The ‘Iron Man’ actress – who recently tied the knot with Brad Falchuck – has two children, Apple, 14, and Moses, 12, with the Coldplay frontman, and has said despite their split in 2014, she still talks to the father of her children on a daily basis.
Speaking to ES Magazine, she said: “I think we’ve managed to really stay a family. Chris is a very close friend. I see him every day, I talk to him every day. And it [the divorce] was very difficult, but I think you see in the children that they got through it, so I am proud of us, I really am. We kept to our commitment that we would put the children first.”
Her comments come after Chris recently joined her, their children, and her new husband Brad on their honeymoon getaway in the Maldives.
Describing it as a “very modern honeymoon”, Gwyneth said: “We just took our honeymoon in the Maldives and we had a big family honeymoon over Christmas.
“So, my new husband and his children, my children, my ex-husband, our best family friends [all went]. It was a very modern honeymoon.”
Gwyneth didn’t say whether or not Chris’ new partner Dakota Johnson was in attendance.
The 46-year-old star said that the aim of the family holiday was to “minimise the pain” for their kids, as they wanted to be with both their parents.
She explained: “We just wanted to minimise the pain for the kids.
“They just want to see their parents around the dinner table, basically, so we try to keep that.”
The former couple – who went their separate ways in 2014, after 10 years of marriage – also had a “modern” Thanksgiving with the children, Gwyneth’s new husband and the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ star Dakota, 29.
A source said: “They’re a total modern family and had a great time celebrating together.”

Kate Upton’s daughter is a ‘really good baby’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Upton’s daughter is a “really good baby”.
The 26-year-old model gave birth to her daughter Genevieve – whom she has with her husband Justin Verlander – in November, and has said her tot is “really cute”, and is well-behaved as she’s already letting Kate sleep through the night without waking up.
She said: “I’m like, ‘I’m just sleeping through the night now,’ so it’s still fresh in my mind. She actually is a really good baby. I feel like she’s a really cute mixture of us both.”
And just two months after giving birth, Kate says she’s not even thinking about adding to her brood yet.
The blonde beauty added: “I can’t even think about having more kids now.”
Kate says her priorities have shifted since giving birth, but she still makes time for her daily workout routine, although she notes she now only spends 30 minutes working on her body.
She told ‘Extra’: “Your priorities really do shift because it’s all about the baby. I still find time to work out … I’ve been doing my Strong4Me workouts, which are 30-minute workouts that you can do at home.
“I do it right after I breastfeed, when she’s just going down for a nap and fit in a little me time too, because it’s important to stay strong and stay energised while being a mom.”
The model’s dedication to working out comes after she recently revealed she still has “a long way to go” to lose her baby weight.
She wrote on Instagram: “Getting in a little cardio with a family beach walk. I’m not going to lie to you and tell you I’ve been working out and eating healthy. It’s so hard over the holidays. Traveling and enjoying time with my family! I’m trying not to get down on myself. Instead use it as motivation to get right back at it! I have a long way to go to lose this baby weight but feeling determined for 2019! #strong4me (sic)”

Liam Neeson’s nephew dies aged 35

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Neeson’s nephew has died aged 35.
The ‘Taken’ star’s relative Ronan Sexton passed away in Cushendall, Northern Ireland, over the weekend, nearly five years after he fell from a telephone kiosk, according to the Belfast Telegraph newspaper.
Ronan never recovered from the fall, which occurred in Brighton, south east England, in June 2014 when he lost his balance on top of a telephone box and dropped to the ground.
He was the youngest of Liam’s sister Bernadette Sexton’s six kids.
At the time, Ronan was taken to a nearby hospital in a critical condition and was later transferred to a specialist neurological centre.
In 2014, Ronan’s family thanked the public for their “love, support, prayers and good wishes”.
They also said in a statement: “Ronan is receiving wonderful treatment from the dedicated staff at Hurstwood Park.”
Liam’s loss comes nearly 10 years after his wife, Natasha Richardson, tragically died aged 45 in March 2009.
The ‘Parent Trap’ star also passed away following a fall, after she hit her head during a skiing trip in Quebec.
Liam previously admitted he was struggling to process her loss.
He said: “It hits you. It’s like a wave. You just get this profound feeling of instability … the Earth isn’t stable any more and then it passes and it becomes more infrequent, but I still get it sometimes.
“[Her death] was never real. It still kind of isn’t. There are periods now in our New York residence when I hear the door opening, especially the first couple of years… any time I hear that door opening, I still think I’m going to hear her.”

Matt Helders ‘files for divorce’

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Helders has filed for divorce.
The Arctic Monkeys drummer is said to have filed documents on Wednesday (16.01.19) requesting the termination of his marriage to Breana McDow Helders, just two-and-a-half years after they tied the knot in June 2016.
According to TMZ, it is unclear what has led to the pair’s split.
Matt and Breana – who have three-year-old daughter Amelia together – married in Rome in 2016 after pushing the wedding back a year when she found out she was expecting.
She said at the time: “I discovered I was pregnant. We pushed the wedding another year, and I’m so glad we did because having Amelia there was really special.”
The couple started dating in 2011 and he popped the question in 2013 while singing her a song.
The model previously said: “I woke up in our first house together to our song being played.
“He proposed with a pinky ring and got me a real engagement ring later.”
Matt isn’t just going solo in his love life – last year the stickman revealed plans to create an album on his own.
When asked if he had “confidence” about finishing the solo record, he said: “More and more I do, yeah.
“I feel like I’ve got to do a certain amount before it’s deserved in way. I don’t want to do it too soon and then regret it, like ‘Oh, I shouldn’t have made that kind of record’.
“You know what I mean? I want to make a lot of music and then like, ‘Oh, that’s the thing I like about this.’ ”
Matt also feels as though he’s “earned” the right to become a solo artist.
He explained: “I don’t want to get caught out for cheating my way somewhere. I will do it. It’s like figuring out why as well. Like ‘Why do I even want to do that? Why do I want to make a record? What’s it for?
“I just like the process of creating it. Maybe it’s more because I’m not writing the lyrics, so it’s fine that I do that.
“When you’re writing a record and you’re putting yourself out there, a lot of people need a reason to want to hear a ‘message’ or ‘hear my opinion on this’. That’s why I’m not that interested in the lyrics side of it yet. I want to make a lot of music and that sounds cool.”

Mariah Carey sued by former PA

OHMYGOSSIP — Mariah Carey’s former personal assistant has accused her of physical, emotional and psychological abuse.
The ‘Hero’ hitmaker filed a lawsuit against Lianna Azarian earlier this week, in which she accused her of blackmail, and now the ex-employee has hit back with a legal complaint of her own, objecting to the treatment she received while working for the 48-year-old star.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Lianna claims Mariah’s former manager, Stella Bulochnikov badly mistreated her and committed various acts of abuse, including slapping her butt and breasts, tackling her to the ground, sitting on her and even urinating on her.
She also alleged Stella branded her a “f***ing Armenian whore” and the n-word, as well as frequently ridiculing the size of her chest and “placing objects under her breasts such as iPhones, television remote controls and utensils”.
The former staff member – who worked for Mariah from March 2015 until she was fired in November 2017 – claimed the ‘Always Be My Baby’ hitmaker was often witness to the alleged abuse but did nothing, and accused her of also committing acts of physical, emotional and psychological abuse against her.
Liann is also suing Stella and other people.
Her move comes after Mariah claimed in her own legal documents that Lianna had secretly filmed her “personal activities” and threatened to release the “embarrassing” videos unless her famous ex-boss gave her $8 million.
After previously showing the videos to friends and claiming she would sell them if she was ever fired, Liana reportedly demanded the money and warned she’d release the videos and other damaging information once she was dismissed.
The lawsuit doesn’t state what is on the videos, but describes the footage as “intimate”.
As well as recording the clips, the ‘Fantasy’ singer – who has twins Moroccan and Monroe, seven, with ex-husband Nick Cannon – also alleged her former staff member used her credit card to buy personal items and obtained discounts from retailers by claiming she was buying things for Mariah.
Liann’s lawyer, Mark Quigley has called Mariah’s blackmail accusation “baseless” and branded the lawsuit “an attempt to attack my client’s character and deflect attention away from a workplace harassment and wrongful termination lawsuit.”
He added: “My client never did anything she wasn’t specifically asked to do.”

Victoria Beckham filming web comedy

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Beckham is to star in her own comedy series.
The 44-year-old fashion designer – who has children Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, and seven-year-old Harper with husband David Beckham – has hired a scriptwriter for her YouTube show ‘In The Chair with Victoria Beckham’ and started filming the web programme on Wednesday (16.01.19).
In the show, Victoria is joined by two her friends, make-up artist Wendy Rowe and hairdresser Ken Paves, who are jokingly unimpressed by her ideas and views, including that she appeals to fans with her “deep and multi-layered intellectual critique”.
According to The Sun newspaper, one sketch sees Victoria mock her own “famously discreet nuptials” with David, while in another, she moots the idea of an Oscars review show of “three to six hours an episode”.
The former Spice Girls singer ponders her absence from the Best Actress shortlist and says: “I suppose they can only consider people who’ve been in feature films in the past year. Otherwise, I’m sure I would be.
“Isn’t there some category, some kind of lifetime achievement? I’m a wife mother, businesswoman, designer, icon.”
And talking about ‘A Star Is Born’ – which features Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper – she jokes: “I can tell you a thing or two about what that’s like.”
Victoria describes her YouTube channel as “like the Queen’s Speech but longer and with me rather than the Queen.”
The brunette beauty announced in November she would be launching her own channel on YouTube, in which she promised style suggestions, beauty tips and lots more.
She wrote on Twitter: “At September’s LFW @DerekBlasberg joined me at my store to celebrate #VBSince08! Today I have special news to share. I will be launching my own @YouTube channel with beauty tutorials, styling tips and lots of stuff from me! Subscribe to my channel at http://bit.ly/VB-YouTube x VB (sic)”
The tweet was accompanied by a video, in which she was filmed joking with American fashion journalist Derek Blasberg.
She said in the clip: “I am starting my own YouTube channel, that will be full of styling tutorials, lots of stuff from me and apparently … you naked. Apparently people want it, it’s what they want, what they really really want – and it’s coming on my channel!”
Victoria subsequently added: “This is a new chapter right now. I can put my foot on the gas and do everything that I’ve wanted to do for a long, long time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Malique Thompson-Dwyer is “officially dating” Harry Redknapp’s granddaughter after getting close to her at the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ wrap party.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ star, 20, and 19-year-old Molly James-Redknapp are said to be in a relationship after meeting up a few times since flying back to the UK, and he is planning a trip to Bournemouth to see her.
A source said: “Malique and Molly got on really well at the I’m A Celeb wrap party and stayed in touch after everyone flew home from Australia.
“They have met up a few times and are now officially dating. He’s even planning a trip to Bournemouth to spend quality time with her.”
Malique – who has a young daughter – competed in the latest ‘I’m A Celebrity’ series last year alongside Harry, who was named King of the Jungle, and the pair got on well during their time Down Under.
Their pals are said to be “pleased” that Malique and Molly – whose father is Harry’s son Mark – have hooked up.
The insider added to The Sun Online: “They make a cute couple and everyone is really pleased they have remained close since the show, especially because Harry got on so well with Malique in the jungle.”
Malique and Molly are said to have struck up a close bond at the Gold Coast’s five-star Versace Hotel, where the celebrities stay with their families when their time on ‘I’m A Celeb’ is up, and they also sat next to each other on the 45-minute coach journey to the wrap party.
There, they bonded further and partied alongside the ‘Oaks’ actor’s fellow campmates Emily Atack, 29, and Sair Khan, 30.
Malique’s newfound love isn’t the only post-jungle romance which has been hotting up of late.
James McVey popped the question to his partner Kirstie Brittain earlier this month, and even took Harry along to help him choose the engagement ring.
He said: “Harry said he knew a really good jeweller whenever I was ready to do it and I thought, I may as well just do it.”

Kem Cetinay apologises to Gemma Collins

OHMYGOSSIP — Kem Cetinay has “massively apologised” to Gemma Collins.
The former ‘Love Island’ hunk – who is the digital reporter on this year’s ‘Dancing On Ice’ – claimed on ‘This Morning’ earlier this week that the ‘Only Way is Essex’ star had been late to rehearsals for a group performance because she was “having a nap” and revealed she’d left Sunday’s (13.01.19) live show early because she was “bored”, prompting a backlash from presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
However, Gemma has insisted she hasn’t done anything she was accused of and her good friend has now said sorry to her because she felt “betrayed” – but Kem has insisted he was only doing what producers had asked him to.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “Gemma was so upset after watching This Morning – there are plenty of things that go on behind-the-scenes during the making of a show but she’s been purposefully singled out.
“She was accused of having a nap during a dress rehearsal but that wasn’t the case – she asked whether there would be time for one and was told there wouldn’t be.
“Kem and her are good friends and it felt like he’d betrayed her by making the comments he did, which he’s since massively apologised for.
“But Kem was only doing his job as Dancing on Ice digital presenter and part of that is revealing what goes on when the cameras stop rolling.
“The pair have since managed to settle their differences and hopefully everything will go back to normal ahead of Sunday’s live show.”
When Kem appeared on ‘This Morning’, he laid bare his pal’s alleged antics over the weekend’s filming.
He said: “Obviously Gemma wasn’t performing this week, she wasn’t doing her routine but as always she had the headlines as per usual.
“We did the group routine rehearsals before – she was having a nap, she wasn’t there.
“I thought she might have learned from her mistake but we went into the live show and the last quarter of the show she went missing.
“I did speak to her afterwards and she said she was a bit bored but she does love skating.”
The 37-year-old star was then criticised for her lack of professionalism by Holly and Phillip, but Gemma has since spoken out to defend herself and insisted she has no hard feelings towards the presenting duo.
She said: “I think they were given information that wasn’t correct and they’ve given their opinion on it and there’s nothing wrong with that.
“Hopefully, they’ve been told straight the facts now.
“I agree with Holly, if I had done that I’d be saying the same, ‘God, how unprofessional.’
“I’ve only got love for Holly and Phil, big up them. There’s no beef here.
“Holly and Phil have done nothing wrong.
“There’s no bad feeling there.”

Anne Hathaway set for The Witches remake

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hathaway is to star in ‘The Witches’ remake.
The ‘Ocean’s 8’ actress was recently said to have been offered the chance to appear in the movie and ‘Sesame Street’ at the same time, and the 36-year-old star is now said to have closed a deal for the Robert Zemeckis film.
According to Variety, Hathaway will take on the role of the Grand High Witch, which was made famous by Anjelica Huston in the 1990 motion picture.
Sources close to the film say Zemeckis’ version will be closer to the original source material – Roald Dahl’s 1973 fantasy novel, in which a seven-year-old boy comes across real-life witches – compared to the previous movie.
As well as Huston, the 1990 movie featured Rowan Atkinson, Jane Horrocks and Brenda Blethyn.
Zemeckis will also write the script for the new version of ‘The Witches’ and produce alongside Jack Rapke, Alfonso Cuaron and Guillermo del Toro.
In December, it was reported Hathaway had been offered the part of Sally in the new ‘Sesame Street’ movie.
The character appeared in the first episode of the popular children’s TV series – which began in 1969 – and was given a tour of Sesame Street where she met many of the beloved characters.
‘Sesame Street’ combines live-action and puppetry with animation and includes a host of Jim Henson characters including Big Bird, Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Elmo and Oscar the Grouch.
Hathaway will appear in motion picture ‘The Hustle’ later this year, alongside Rebel Wilson, and she will star opposite Willem Dafoe, Ben Affleck and Toby Jones in political thriller ‘The Last Thing He Wanted’.

Madonna ‘set for 2019 world tour’

OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna is set to go on her first world tour in three years in late 2019.
The 60-year-old singing legend is said to be planning a “no expenses spared” run of shows, which will feature pyrotechnics and her usual army of performers, and she will stun supporters in some “amazing outfits”.
An industry source said: “Madonna is really excited about performing her new music and has spared no expense with the production.
“There will be the usual army of dancers, slick lighting and even some pyrotechnics.
“She might be 60 but she works incredibly hard to keep her body in the best shape possible and plans to show it off in some amazing outfits, so fans can expect an array of dramatic costume changes.”
The ‘Like a Prayer’ hitmaker is planning to drop her 14th album later this year, and fans who snap up a ticket for her tour will also be treated to some of her greatest hits, as well as a collection of her new songs.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: “Of course she’ll treat revellers to a few of her classic hits too. She adores performing and loves to see her fans.
“She’s hugely professional and always puts on a mind-blowing show. It’s going to be the hottest ticket in town.”
Last October, Madonna confirmed she was working on her 14th studio album, her first since 2015’s ‘Rebel Heart’.
She said: “I’m finishing my record, which I’m going to release next year.”
And the superstar singer admitted she just cannot stop making music.
Speaking about her fashion products, which include skincare lines and perfumes, she said: “Yep, in between rose mist spray and serums, I’m actually making music. Can’t quit my day job.”
Madonna last hit the road on her ‘Rebel Heart Tour’, which consisted of 82 dates from September 2015 to March 2016.

Lee Daniels plans gay superhero film

OHMYGOSSIP — Lee Daniels has a gay superhero film “in the pipeline”.
The 59-year-old filmmaker has decided to make his “dream” movie after being captivated by viral sensation SuperBitch aka Dremon Cooper – who rose to fame after his comedy videos of him fighting against homophobia and doing backflips in thigh-high hot pink heeled boots became an online sensation – and he wants to bring his story to the big screen.
Lee shared a video on Instagram, in which Dremon also appeared, and said: “Do you all remember maybe 10, 12 years ago I said my dream was to make a gay superhero film?”
He captioned the post: “10 years ago folks thought I was crazy when I said I wanted to make a gay superhero flick…. it’s not my next one… but it’s in the pipeline #gaysuperhero (sic)”
Dremon is very excited about the project and praised the ‘Empire’ creator as an “amazing” man.
He commented on the post: “Dreams really do come true!! I had the pleasure of meeting the one and only [Lee Daniels].
“You’re an amazing man filled with great ideas. I [can’t] wait to work with you.”
Lee’s announcement came a few days after the ‘Butler’ filmmaker slammed homophobic attacks and urged people to stand together and vowed to do what he could to “fight” the issue.
He said in an Instagram video: “I’m compelled to talk to my gay brothers and sisters, youth and adult, to tell you that it’s OK to be who you are, to stand firmly in your shoes and be exactly who you want to be.
“This past week my cousin was beat up for being gay and I am sick of hearing these stories.
“It’s the beginning of a new year and we need to do better. We need to continue to remember to love and to turn against the hate that we’re seeing out there. But we all need to fight that fight together.
“For all the people who are hurting, who are struggling, and who are trying to find some meaning in this life, I am here to say if you need a safe place or a ear to listen, then I’m here.
“I’m listening to what you’re saying and what you’re going through. I am standing up for you and will continue to fight for you.
“This is my mission and message to you for the beginning of 2019.”

Dua Lipa promises new album this year

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa is determined to release her second album this year.
The 23-year-old singer – who released her self-titled debut LP in 2017 – is planning to “work really hard” in the recording studio to bring out some “fun stuff” for her fans.
Asked her rules for 2019, she told Rolling Stone magazine: “Working really hard to get my new album out. Those are the only rules that I’m gonna be living by. I’m just going to be in the studio making sure that I come back with some fun stuff for everyone.”
The ‘IDGAF’ hitmaker has promised her lyrics will be just as “honest” as ever because she thinks that’s why people have connected with her music.
She said: “I’ve learned that just by being honest and speaking my truth, I guess it hits home with some people – just like it does with me.”
The ‘New Rules’ hitmaker – who was born in London but moved back to Pristina in Kosovo when she was 11 – enjoyed using “different sounds and different feelings” in her first album and will be doing the same on her next record.
She said: “All people listened to in Kosovo was hip-hop. So after listening to pop and British rock while I was growing up, my first concert was Method Man and Redman, because they were the only people that came to Pristina.
“My album – I guess it’s a pop album, but it’s so diverse, because it comes from so many different and inspirations. So hip-hop has played a big role in that. I just want to be able to play with different sounds and different feelings at the same time.
“That carries on in the second album. It’s me trying to cover all the ground, all of my feelings.
“Some days are happy and all you want to do is write a song about that. And other days…you know. Things don’t go how you want them do – but it’s such great inspiration for music. So there’s always that silver lining.
“I guess I’m quite good at hitting all the low notes – I’m still figuring out how to reach the higher ones.”

Faye Brookes and Gareth Gates ‘engaged’

OHMYGOSSIP — Faye Brookes and Gareth Gates are engaged.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star and the singer briefly split in September but have since reunited, and they are now said to be planning an engagement bash later this month in Manchester.
A TV source said: “Faye and Gareth are over the moon.
“They’d been together a long time and the split was a bit of a blip, but they’ve totally got over it and now they want to plan their future as a couple.”
Several of Faye’s ‘Corrie’ co-stars are expected to attend the engagement party, as well as their friends and family.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: “There will be lots of Faye’s co-stars and other famous faces alongside their friends and family – everyone will be delighted for them.”
Faye, 31, confirmed in September that she and Gareth – who met in 2012 when they played lovers on the UK tour of ‘Legally Blonde The Musical’ – had gone their separate ways, but the 34-year-old singer later revealed in November that the pair had rekindled their relationship.
At the time of their split, she wrote on Twitter: “Unfortunately @Gareth_Gates and I are choosing to take some time apart. We remain the very best of friends. We’d like to Thank you for all your support over the years x (sic)”
In a similar message, Gareth tweeted: “Unfortunately @Faye_Brookes and I are choosing to take some time apart. We remain the very best of friends. We’d like to Thank you for all your support over the years x (sic)”
Faye – who plays Kate Connor in the ITV soap – has previously said she wants to spend the “rest of [her] life” with Gareth.
She said: “We’ve talked about it. And that day will come, I’m sure of it, but that’s not for now. “Every Valentine’s Day the conversation comes up. I’m like: ‘Listen, I’m totally career-driven,’ and he knows that.
“I’ve found the guy I want to spend the rest of my life with and if he does propose, then it’s going be a complete surprise.”

James Corden feels responsible for Chris Pratt’s engagement

OHMYGOSSIP — James Corden has joked he feels “responsible” for Chris Pratt’s engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger.
The ‘Late Late Show’ host had been filming with the ‘Jurassic World’ actor for a special post-AFC championship game episode of his talk show shortly before the 39-year-old star revealed he’d popped the question to his girlfriend, and James has claimed it was advice he gave his guest that spurred him on to propose.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I feel responsible. I cannot tell you what we did, because it’s a big surprise, but we all flew about four hours away from here and we shot a piece together… he really asked my advice.”
However, the 40-year-old star – who has children Max, seven, Carey, four, and Charlotte, 13 months, with wife Julia – then admitted he hadn’t really helped.
He added: “No, he did not. I am just joking.”
However, James admitted he’s delighted for Chris – who has son Jack, six, with ex-wife Anna Faris – because he’s such a nice guy.
He said: “I am so happy for him. I mean, he is just the single loveliest man you can ever wish to meet.
“When he holds you, it’s like hugging a tree that will protect you forever. It’s just adorable, it really is.”
Meanwhile, the ‘World’s Best’ host claimed his success has started to affect his parents and they urged him to pay for a flight upgrade when they come out to America to see the Super Bowl next month.
He said: “They will be there causing whatever mischief they can, and I mean, my dad is getting so grand now… it’s getting to his head.
“He called me the other day. I said, ‘Daddy, you good? You go to Atlanta.’ He goes, ‘Yeah, listen mate, I don’t want to be funny, but with mum’s knee we are going to be in business class, right?’ I was like, ‘What with mum’s knee?’ I was like, ‘Don’t start playing with mum’s knee!’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Clifford has got engaged.
The 5 Seconds of Summer guitarist marked five years of dating his girlfriend Crystal Lee on January 11 by popping the question during a romantic evening watching the sun set while on vacation in Bali.
Michael, 23, wrote on Instagram: “I was lucky enough to ask the love of my life to marry me in the place it all began for us.
“In the last 3 years she has helped evolve and shape who I am in ways I could never have imagined. I couldn’t ask for anyone better to spend the rest of my life with. I love loving you, Crystal.(sic)”
In Michael’s Instagram post, he shared three pictures, including one of Crystal holding her face in delight with her ring on display, another of them lying down together and a third of him down on one knee popping the question.
The romantic musician took Crystal to the Ungasan Clifftop Resort in Bali, the same spot where they had shared their first kiss and set up a tent outside their villa, which he filled with photos of them during key moments in their relationship, including their first picture together, their first ‘I love you’, and their first anniversary, and even played ‘Medicine’ by The 1975 because it was what they had been listening to when they locked lips for the first time.
Later in the evening, Australian chef James Viles cooked a meal for the couple and then they enjoyed a celebration with some friends, who were also on the trip because it was a promotional event for Guess’ #DestinationGuess Bali series.
