Brad Pitt ‘is dating Charlize Theron’

OHMYGOSSIP — Brad Pitt is reportedly dating Charlize Theron.
The 55-year-old actor and the Oscar-winning actress are said to have been dating for almost a month after they were introduced to each other by her ex-fiance Sean Penn.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “They have been casually seeing each other for nearly a month now. They’ve been friends for some time – ironically through Sean – but things have developed.”
The rumoured romance is Brad’s first serious love interest since his split from ex-wife Angelina Jolie.
The actor – who was also previously married to Jennifer Aniston – recently enjoyed a date with Charlize, 43, in Los Angeles after attending a screening.
The insider explained: “Brad came over to Chateau afterwards, changed his outfit and joined Charlize in a corner of the bar.
“She was on a vodka cocktail while he stuck to mineral water.
“They were ridiculously touchy-feely and his arm was around her back. At one point he winked at her. Brad seemed in a really good place – they both looked really happy.”
Despite this, a source close to Brad previously claimed it was unlikely he’d date another celebrity again.
Following his return to the dating scene in 2018, the insider explained that the Hollywood star was eager to keep his love life low-key.
The source said: “I can’t see Brad dating someone super famous again, I can definitely see him dating someone with a lower profile.
“Brad comes from a very traditional family, he’s very close to his parents, Jane and Bill, and his brother and sister are both married with families. I could see him marrying again, but it will be a much more low-key relationship.”

Nicole Kidman: I played it safe with her career at the start

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman thinks she “played it safe” with her career in the past but now always looks for roles that will challenge her.
The ‘Aquaman’ actress is now happy to make “spontaneous and random” decisions on what projects to take on and lives by the motto “why not?”.
She said: “I think maybe I played it a little safe in the past, and went for the work I thought I was meant to do, which spoke to the idea of what and who an actress is supposed to be.
“But, for the most part, I’ve followed my spirit, which motivates me to go against the grain.
“I’m completely spontaneous and random in my decisions. Never let it be said that I don’t have diverse taste.
“I love jumping into the deep end. Why not? That’s my favourite saying, I think it has such potential and choice, why not?”
The 51-year-old actress – who has children Isabella, 25, and Connor, 23, with ex-husband Tom Cruise and Sunday, 10 and seven-year-old Faith with spouse Keith Urban – thinks the choice of roles on offer to her have grown since she first started out in her career and is pleased she can use her “life experience” in her work.
She added to Psychologies magazine: “I’ve been doing this since I was 14, more than 35 years working is quite a number to say out loud.
“It’s gratifying and comforting because I have a deep well of emotion that only comes with life experience and I can call on that, call on those memories I didn’t have when I was in my 20s.
“I am a character actor, which was my goal. I wasn’t educated at drama school with the aim of being a movie star!
“There’s a bizarre lottery – of emotions, and, consequently, far more roles, types of roles, demographics and situations – available to me now, compared to when I was younger. Amazing!”

Henry Cavill and Alec Baldwin to return for new Mission: Impossible movie?

OHMYGOSSIP — Henry Cavill and Alec Baldwin could be set to return to the ‘Mission: Impossible’ franchise.
The 35-year-old actor and Alec, 60, both starred alongside Tom Cruise in last year’s ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’, and after it was recently confirmed that director Christopher McQuarrie will return to the film series, it’s been speculated that Henry and Alec could also reprise their roles.
Christopher is “said to be considering” calling on Henry and Alec for a sequel to ‘Fallout’ – although they would only feature in flashback moments, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The filmmaker was recently asked by a fan on Twitter about rumours surrounding the franchise, and he replied by suggesting that anything is possible.
He wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “I could do a lot of thing. I could eat pizza until I explode. It doesn’t mean I’ll actually do it.
“I’ll choose a course and go where Mission takes me. That’s the only plan there’s ever been.#MissionImpossible (sic)”
Meanwhile, Henry – who played a CIA assassin in ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’ – previously admitted he relished working with Christopher.
Talking about the evolution of his character, Henry shared: “It’s difficult for me to quantify how much the character changed, aside from saying a lot. The whole process was an evolution and an improvement upon yesterday’s work.
“That was one of my favourite things about working with McQ. The script was very much alive and he was constantly, day and night, improving every aspect of it.”

Doves’ hiatus lasted too long

OHMYGOSSIP — Doves never intended their hiatus to last almost a decade.
The British indie band – made up of twin brothers, guitarist-and-singer Jez Williams and drummer Andy Williams, and bassist-vocalist Jimi Goodwin – decided to take some time off in 2010 after touring their fourth studio LP ‘Kingdom of Rust’ but are back this year with new music and live shows, including a headline spot at the Teenage Cancer Trust concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall and a support slot for Noel Gallagher at Manchester’s Heaton Park in June 2019.
Andy has admitted the trio – who started life as dance act Sub Sub – only intended to take a couple of years off but life got in the way but they are glad to be reunited and are now free to tell the world they’re back.
He told Q Magazine: “We’ve been talking about this for a while, me and Jimi have been seeing each other for a few years and the momentum was just building so we felt it was the right time to get back in a room together.
“It was nice that we’d kept it all under wraps. It was a pain the a**e having to lie to people, though, ‘So what have you been up to? Oh you know, this and that.
“Our aim was for it to be like two or three years but life got in the way. We did miss each other, very much. The three of us have worked together since we were in school, jamming in bands, and putting out records since 1992, so we missed that dynamic without a doubt.
“There is a chemistry when the three of us get in a room and it doesn’t exist when one of us isn’t there.”
The ‘Black and White Town’ hitmakers have admitted they want to do “a couple of warm ups” for the Teenage Cancer Trust concert because they want it to go seamlessly because it’s for charity and Roger Daltrey – who organises the annual gigs.
Jez previously said: “I’m really wanting to hustle for a couple of warm-ups before we go into the Royal Albert Hall because, yeah, it’s going to be interesting. Going straight cold into that, you know what I mean, I’m going to need to take a few pairs of underpants with me!”

She wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “1st day back to writing the new album- I feel so lucky that I get to do this every day. This was my dream when I was younger, getting to make songs everyday and now I’m here. I’m reminding myself of that every single day this year (sic)”

The 51-year-old actress has two adult sons, Brandon, 22, and Dylan, 21, but the two pair chose to stay in California when she told them she was relocating to the European country rather than move with their mother.
Pamela – who had her children with her first husband, Motley Crue drummer, Tommy Lee, 56 – is proud that her boys have their own lives in the US and was thrilled when the brothers decided to buy a house together to live in with each other, but she just “can’t wait” for the next time see her kids.

“They are 22 and 21 and they just bought a house together in California. They are very independent, I couldn’t be prouder of them. One is an actor and the other is a musician and they don’t need their mother anymore.”
Pamela tries to keep up to date with her boys lives from afar including their romantic endeavours, however, Brandon is more inclined to share the secrets of his love life than Brandon.

Olivia Colman loved wearing nightie in The Favourite

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Colman was “excited” to just wear a “nightie” in most of ‘The Favourite’.
The 44-year-old actress plays the lead role of Queen Anne in the period production and was relieved to find out that because the film is set in the 18th century, she wouldn’t have to don a tight-fitting corset throughout filming.
Costume designer Sandy Powell said: “Olivia was always excited about everything, because that’s her personality, but was especially excited that for most of the film she wore a nightie and no corset.”
However, Olivia’s co-star, Emma Stone, didn’t get off so lightly and found the restrictive garment uncomfortable, though she was praised for doing so without complaint.
Sandy added to HELLO! magazine: “Emma Stone had never done a period film or worn a corset, so it was a new and alien experience for her.
“Considering that, she was really easy to work with and willing to put up with the discomfort of getting used to wearing one.
“We had to persuade her that once she eased into it, it would become natural.”
Nicholas Hoult, who plays the queen’s minister Robert Hartley, had a hugely elaborate costume, and Sandy spent a lot of time teaching him how to walk in high heels without problems
She said: “He had never worn period costume before, let alone huge wigs and high heels.
“He was over 7ft tall in costume. I had to give him lessons in how to walk in heels at his fittings – he took it very seriously.”
Sandy was helped in her work by the fact director Yorgos Lanthimos had such a clear vision for the movie.
She said: “He wanted the actors to look like they were wearing clothes, not costumes.
“Even if they were clothes the modern eye isn’t used to seeing, they were clothes that people would have worn every day.
“He wanted the women to be make-up free and natural-looking but the men to look like overdressed, flamboyant peacocks.”

Martin Freeman: I dreamed of being a sportsman

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Freeman dreamed of being a successful sportsman as a child.
The 47-year-old actor has starred in some of the most successful films and TV shows of recent years, but Martin has admitted that during his youth, he was instead focused on becoming a top-class soccer player.
He told the Guardian newspaper: “I wanted to be a footballer and then a squash player – I was in with a chance because I was very good. But I fell out of love with that by 14 or 15 and joined a youth theatre.”
Martin also revealed that reading ‘Animal Farm’, the political novel by George Orwell, proved to be a life-shaping moment for him.
The actor explained that the book helped to inform his outlook on the world and on life.
Asked which book changed his life, Martin said: “‘Animal Farm’. I was 11 and it was the best book that I had read. It shaped a lot of my future world view.”
Meanwhile, Martin previously revealed he doesn’t enjoy the attention he receives.
The ‘Black Panther’ star explained that some people don’t realise he is his “own person”, rather than just a character in a movie.
He admitted: “I think I’m a pretty decent person. I’m not horrible or unfriendly.
“But I’m my own person and I think sometimes people think ‘affable’ is going to mean ‘doormat’ or ‘just grateful all the time for any attention’ – and I’m not.
“I’m not grateful for the attention – quite the opposite, 80 percent of the time, dependent on the context.”

Ariana Grande pays tribute to Mac Miller

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande has paid tribute to Mac Miller on what would have been his 27th birthday.
The ‘Self Care’ rapper tragically passed away in September last year at the age of 26 after suffering an accidental overdose, and on what would have been his birthday on Saturday (19.01.19), Ariana – who dated Mac for two years before calling it quits in May – shared a simple message on her social media accounts.
Posting on Twitter, the ‘7 Rings’ singer simply wrote: “Miss u (sic)”
Since Mac’s passing, Ariana, 25, has posted several tributes to her late former partner, including a photo she posted of him playing the piano in a now-deleted post about being ready to leave 2018 behind.
During her acceptance speech for Billboard’s Woman of the Year award that same month, the ‘God is a Woman’ hitmaker was moved to tears as she touched upon her tumultuous year, which included Mac’s passing as well as the start and end of her romance with ex-fiancé Pete Davidson.
She said: “I want to say that I find it interesting that this has been one of the best years of my career and the worst of my life. I’m not saying that for sympathy, I’m just saying that because I think a lot of people would look at someone in my position right now … and think, ‘She’s really got her s**t together,’ Ya know? Like, ‘She’s really on it.’ Like, ‘She’s got it all.’
“I do, but as far as my personal life goes, I really have no idea what the f**k I’m doing so yeah, it’s been a very conflicting one.”
Meanwhile, it was recently claimed Mac’s family are spending his birthday together so they can “surround one another with love”.
A source said: “Malcolm’s family wishes that he could be at home celebrating his birthday with them and being the centre of attention like he always was, but they know he is still there in spirit with his big ol’ smile. It’s going to be a hard day for the family.
“They miss Malcolm more than words can describe, but they are grieving together and surrounding one another with love. It’s all they can do.”

Ant McPartlin: I drank to escape my underlying unhappiness

OHMYGOSSIP — Ant McPartlin turned to alcohol to escape his “underlying unhappiness”.
The 43-year-old TV presenter – whose marriage with make-up artist Lisa Armstrong ended in 2018 – has revealed he was secretly drinking in order to cope with the “stresses and strains” of his life.
Ant confessed: “Life hit me hard. I was going through a lot of personal stuff that was very publicised. The problem is you take something or you drink to escape from an underlying unhappiness.”
Ant pleaded guilty to drink-driving following a car crash in London in March last year.
And the award-winning TV star – who has enjoyed a successful on-screen partnership with Dec Donnelly – confessed to being “dependent” on alcohol around the time of the crash.
He told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “I was still drinking in a dependent state. Not all the time. But enough to worry about it.
“I hadn’t addressed it. It was building up which led to the day of the crash which was the single worst day of my life.”
Ant subsequently entered rehab in a bid to regain control of his life, and the popular star says he no longer drinks alcohol.
He shared: “I was so traumatised after the crash, I was in a really bad way. I was still under medical care.
“With hindsight, I wasn’t in a good place for a while. I hadn’t properly been assessed. That came very quickly post-crash. I volunteered to go into a proper institution where I was technically assessed.
“I gained so much. I know I was dependent on alcohol and I don’t drink now.”
Ant – who recently returned to TV work – also feels like he owes his fans an explanation for his recent behaviour.
He said: “I owe it to fans, the viewers of our shows, to give an explanation to what’s gone on and apologise for what I did.”

The 26-year-old pop star’s first new music since she checked into rehab in October, after suffering an “emotional breakdown” following multiple hospitalisations due to issues related to Lupus and her kidney transplant, will be a feature on the track from the 25-year-old star’s upcoming EP ‘Inner Monologue Part I’, which is released on Friday (25.01.19).
The EP also features One Direction’s Niall Horan on closing track ‘What A Time’.
Julia has helped compose hits for the likes of Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora and Janelle Monae in the past, but admitted she was feeling “more nervous” than ever about the release of her impending mini album.

Though ‘Wolves’ hitmaker Selena is yet to comment on the track, Niall, 25, took to Twitter to reveal his excitement at getting to work with the ‘Issues’ hitmaker, and teased their duet is “stunning”.
He wrote: “So excited about this ! I’m singing on @juliamichaels album and I’m over the moon . Julia is one of my very very good friends and ‘what a time’ is absolutely stunning . I’m very proud to be part of this and can’t wait for you guys to hear it . (sic)”

Shania Twain: I still get starstruck

OHMYGOSSIP — Shania Twain still gets starstruck around other celebrities.
The 53-year-old singer is among the best-selling artists of all time, but Shania still feels nervous around big stars, admitting she can be “very shy”.
She shared: “I’m not very good with stars. I get really uncomfortable, I don’t know what to say. I am very shy actually. I just feel like I’m invading their space by being with them.”
Shania admitted to being particularly nervous when she first met Madonna.
She can therefore understand why some fans are overcome by nerves when they meet their own heroes.
Shania told the ‘Today’ show: “I was awkward with Madonna when I first met Madonna. I understand why it happens (when people get starstruck around me). I’m sympathetic and empathetic about how they’re feeling in that moment because I do the same thing.”
Meanwhile, Shania previously claimed she is embracing her 50s and said that she feels happier than ever before.
The ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman!’ hitmaker revealed that age has been no barrier to her enjoying her career.
Shania – who retired from performing in 2004 after being diagnosed with Lyme disease, before returning to the stage – shared: “I’m 53, and I’m happy as ever to be my age. Real is good. My career is more fun now than ever, and I’m enjoying life.”

PJ Morton defends Maroon 5’s Super Bowl gig

OHMYGOSSIP — Maroon 5 keyboardist PJ Morton has defended the band’s decision to perform at the Super Bowl.
The group – which also features Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, James Valentine, Matt Flynn, and Sam Farrar – have faced widespread criticism for agreeing to perform during the half-time show amid the #TakeAKnee movement to protest racial inequality.
Speaking about the movement, which was instigated by former NFL star Colin Kaepernick, PJ told People magazine: “I think there are plenty of people – a lot of the players, to be honest – who support Kap and also do their job for the NFL.
“I think we’re doing the same thing. We can support being against police brutality against black and brown people and be in support of being able to peacefully protest and still do our jobs. We just want to have a good time and entertain people while understanding the important issues that are at hand.”
PJ also explained that the band considered various issues before agreeing to play at the Super Bowl.
He said: “There was a lot to go into that decision.”
PJ added that the band’s focus is now on “blocking out the noise” and delivering the best show possible on February 3.
He said: “You can get bogged down by those things, we’re not focusing on the negative now [while] being aware, being open, and definitely not ignoring the voices.
“But we’re definitely not focusing on the things that don’t help, that are counter-productive. We’re blocking out the noise. We’re just doing what we do. We look to have a good time.”
