OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna’s new album is set to feature an all-female orchestra from Portugal.
The 60-year-old Queen of Pop took to Instagram to share a video of Orquestra Batukadeiras PT singing in the studio for an unknown track on her forthcoming 14th studio album.
Alongside the clip, she wrote: “A prayer at the end of a magical recording session with the @orquestra.batukadeiras.pt So Lucky to have these Amazing Powerful Women on my record. #caboverde #lisbon #music #magic #mirwais @dinodsantiago (sic)”
The ‘Like a Prayer’ hitmaker is planning to drop her new record later this year, and fans who snap up a ticket for her first world tour in three years, plotted for late 2019, will also be treated to some of her greatest hits, as well as a collection of her new songs.
A source said recently: “Of course she’ll treat revellers to a few of her classic hits too. She adores performing and loves to see her fans.
“She’s hugely professional and always puts on a mind-blowing show. It’s going to be the hottest ticket in town.”
Last October, Madonna confirmed she was working on her follow-up to 2015’s ‘Rebel Heart’.
She said: “I’m finishing my record, which I’m going to release next year.”
And the superstar singer admitted she just cannot stop making music.
Speaking about her fashion products, which include skincare lines and perfumes, she said: “Yep, in between rose mist spray and serums, I’m actually making music. Can’t quit my day job.”
Madonna last hit the road on her ‘Rebel Heart Tour’, which consisted of 82 dates from September 2015 to March 2016.
The music legend’s tour is said to be a “no expenses spared” run of shows, which will feature pyrotechnics and her usual army of performers, and she will stun supporters in some “amazing outfits”.
The industry source said: “Madonna is really excited about performing her new music and has spared no expense with the production.
“There will be the usual army of dancers, slick lighting and even some pyrotechnics.
“She might be 60 but she works incredibly hard to keep her body in the best shape possible and plans to show it off in some amazing outfits, so fans can expect an array of dramatic costume changes.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Freida Pinto found fame “very disconcerting”.
The 34-year-old actress shot to fame in 2008 after starring ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and admits her whole world changed and everything she had known was suddenly “shut down”.
She said: “I lived a very normal, middle class life in Mumbai. I travelled on local trains and buses, but suddenly that world was shut down for me out of need for safety and security. The constant being looked at, being trailed by the paparazzi – the invasion of privacy felt very disconcerting.”
And Freida has learned the “art of blending in” over the past decade, although she does get spotted from time to time.
She added: “So much time has passed since ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ now, I think I’ve learned the art of blending in. There will always be that one person who calls out my name and wants a picture when I am walking across Leicester Square, but I go out without make-up unless I am promoting a film. I’m on guard, but I’m a lot more relaxed.”
Freida wants to use her Hollywood status to help other women feel “worthy” and is championing more education for women in her native India.
She told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “I feel I have the power at least to help girls feel worthy. India loses 33 per cent of its GDP because girls are not educated. If they were, they would invest that in their families and right back into their communities and the country. It’s counter-productive to think that when a girl child is born she is a burden. We really need to change that mindset.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard E. Grant was “overcome with emotion” when Barbra Streisand replied to a letter he wrote to her when he was 14-years-old.
The 61-year-old actor couldn’t believe the singer had responded to his message as he posted a copy of the letter he had penned nearly five decades ago on social media.
He wrote on Twitter: “As a lifelong fan of someone you’ll understand what it meant for me to take this snap outside the home of @BarbraStreisand Asked Security for permission & he replied, ‘It’s a public road, but thanks for asking’. Wrote her this letter when I was 14. My wife is very understanding! (sic)”
And Barbra responded to his message, adding: “Dear Richard What a wonderful letter you wrote me when u were 14 ! and look at u now! You’re terrific in your latest movie with Melissa congratulations and love Barbra (sic)”
The ‘Can You Ever Forgive Me?’ star then took to social media to share his excitement at getting a tweet from his idol.
Alongside a crying emoji and a heart eyes emoji, he wrote: “My pal Nicole Wilcox took this photo as my daughter read me @BarbraStreisand ‘s tweet/response to a letter I sent her 47 yrs ago. Am completely crinkle faced & overcome with emotion. My ‘Message in a bottle’ miracle. (sic)”
And it is not the only time Richard has got teary as of late as he recently admitted he “burst into tears” when he found out he had been nominated for an Oscar for the first time in his career.
He said: “It feels completely surreal; I was sitting with my daughter in a restaurant in Notting Hill Gate just round the corner from where this happened. It was where I lived in this bedsit in 1982 when I first came to England and it was when I got the news, she was watching this live feed on her phone and we had earpieces in, we both just burst into tears and people around us thought we had some terrible news.”

OHMYGOSSIP — James Buckley admits he “came across as a complete moron” during ‘The Inbetweeners’ reunion show.
The 31-year-old actor says the ‘The Inbetweeners: Fwends Reunited’ programme, which was criticised by some fans, was a disappointment for him because he couldn’t keep up with the quick wit of host Jimmy Carr.
On the latest instalment of his podcast ‘Completed it Mate’, he said: “It became a thing that wasn’t a celebration of this good thing I did in my life, it was me being taken the p**s out of for hours on end.
“I didn’t have the personality or the intelligence to cope with it, especially when you’re up against someone like Jimmy Carr, who’s super quick and super funny. So I come across as a complete moron through the whole thing and also there was a bit where I got stuck.
“There would be a couple of times where I would say something and Jimmy would go, ‘Still bulls****ing.’ I got caught where I was acting up as Jay because there was an audience there of ‘Inbetweeners’ fans and I got caught in this spot between Jay and myself where myself I was going, ‘You’re acting like a f***ing idiot, you’re being a moron, you’re being a d***.’ ”
James also admitted he felt under pressure to act like Jay on the show because there was an audience.
He added: “There was this bit where it was like, ‘Well, they’re all here and they want you to be Jay, so do it.’ When the audience was there, I didn’t want to seem like a stick in the mud. I didn’t want to go, ‘Can we stop for a second because I don’t know what the f***’s going on here – you’re talking to me like I’m Jay from ‘The Inbetweeners’. I’m really not.’ So that was another one of the reasons why it was a disaster.”
The actor also said he was just as “disappointed as everyone else” when the show aired.

OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Aguilera will be “calling up” Lady Gaga and Britney Spears to find out the “real scoop” on performing in Las Vegas.
The ‘Beautiful’ hitmaker has just been given her own residency and has vowed to put her former rivalry with Britney behind her to find out what it’s really like to perform in Sin City.
She said: “We’re in Vegas, it’s inevitable. There’s so much history where I’m going and I just feel like calling up all those girls – Lady Gaga is the newest one there. I wanna get the real scoop from all of them and be like, ‘What’s it really like?’ Let’s bring all of our forces together and make this happen.”
And the 38-year-old singer has promised to bring her kids – Max and Summer – onstage with her at some point during her residency but says it will probably be very “spontaneous”.
She added: “I’m sure there will be moments where they will not let me live it down if I don’t bring them on stage, but they aren’t planned entertainers on the show. We’re a very spontaneous family.”
And Christina is already “accumulating ideas” for her show.
She told E! News: “I’m excited [and I’m] constantly accumulating ideas. Vegas is a place you want to escape, and forget about your job and everything you feel like you have to be for somebody else, the night that [fans] come to see the show, I really want to take them away from any of their problems.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne and Naomi Campbell enjoyed a night out together over the weekend.
The ‘Familiar’ hitmaker and the supermodel have been romantically linked recently after they shared some flirty messages on Instagram and they were seen together at Nigerian singer Davido’s concert at the O2 Arena on Sunday (27.01.19).
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Liam and Naomi were keen to keep a low profile. They entered and exited the arena via the back door and were quickly whisked up to a VIP suite on Level 3. After the show they left together in the back of a blacked-out green Range Rover and Liam was seen putting his arm around Naomi’s waist.”
Earlier this month, Liam sent flirty messages to Naomi on social media.
On a picture of Naomi showing off her hair and make-up before the Louis Vuitton Fall Winter show during Men’s Paris Fashion Week, Liam wrote: “Perfection in a person … don’t give me those eyes.”
And the comments don’t stop there, as Naomi reciprocated the flirty message on one of the One Direction singer’s posts, when she commented “Beautiful soul” along with a heart emoji.
The unlikely rumoured romance comes after the ‘Strip That Down’ hitmaker split with Cheryl, 35, in summer last year after two years of dating.
In a statement posted on July 1, Liam wrote: “Cheryl and I are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It’s been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding was a “once-in-a-lifetime magical experience”.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot in May 2018 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle and Meghan’s former ‘Suits’ co-star Gina Torres and the show’s executive producer Aaron Korsh says it was the best experience ever.
Aaron said: “Gina and I went to the wedding. It was a once-in-a-lifetime magical experience. The thing I’ll say about that was we all went as a family, 10 of us or something like that and our spouses and families that had all been working there for 10 years. And had we just gone to London for no reason other than to have a reunion, it would have been an amazing thing. The next day, we went to a worldwide event. It was unbelievable and I think it changed our lives in certain ways forever. But if it had never happened, we were a family on ‘Suits’ for 10 years and that’s the most important thing to me.”
Whilst speaking on a Television Critics Association panel to discuss ‘Suits’ spinoff ‘Pearson’, Gina added: “I had a great time. He said it beautifully. I would have added more, but that was perfect.”
It is an exciting year for Harry and Meghan as they are expecting their first child together, due in the Spring.

OHMYGOSSIP — Leah Bracknell is writing a book about her battle with lung cancer.
The former ‘Emmerdale’ actress was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer two years ago and has since been told her condition is stable, and now the 54-year-old star – who played Zoe Tate in the ITV soap – is telling her story by writing a memoir.
Leah began the project when she tripped over some washing at home, leaving her confined to her sofa as she recovers with “no other alternative” than to start working on her book.
Writing on her ‘Something beginning with C’ online diary, she said: “I tripped over some washing (I know, ridiculous, and painful!) and have been forced to slow down, to stop, confined to the static safety of the sofa out of harm’s way for a few weeks.
“Good in the sense that I have no alternative but to get on with writing my book, but oh the yearning for the sweet nourishment of my heart and soul.
“No matter, the memory and promise of nature’s caress inspire me daily, she is going nowhere. And neither am I.”
Leah was told her cancer is “stable” last October, which is the most positive news she has received in “almost a year” after signing up to a medical trial in an attempt to defeat the disease.
She said: “I have just celebrated the second anniversary of the day I almost died. But I didn’t.
“I have also just passed the two-year mark from the day on which I received a diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer.
“And last week, the long-awaited scan results from the first phase of the trial I am on, have come back with the encouraging news that, currently, the cancer is stable.
“The celebration is muted, one of relief rather than champagne and fireworks. But it is, without doubt, the most positive news to come my way in almost a year.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lewis Capaldi has been named the winner of MTV PUSH: Ones to Watch 2019.
The ‘Grace’ hitmaker saw off the likes of Sam Fender – who he lost out to for this year’s BRITs Critics’ Choice Award – Grace Carter, Mahalia and Jade Bird in the fierce competition, which sees the artists do everything they can to be crowned the winner.
However, after the 22-year-old Scottish singer and finalist Loski promised to drop new music and announced meet and greets with their fans, Lewis pulled out the big guns, by doing an Instagram Live with his close pal Niall Horan for the final PUSH.
Lewis said: “Absolutely honoured to be the MTV PUSH: Ones to Watch winner this year! To be nominated alongside so many other amazing people is a privilege and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for everyone. Cheers, to everyone who voted and it’s nice to be MTV’s One to Watch and not the FBI’s.”
The ‘Someone You Loved’ singer follows in the footsteps of the likes of previous MTV Brand New recipients Mabel, AJ Tracey, Anne-Marie and Krept & Konan, all of whom have gone on to be things.

OHMYGOSSIP — Little Mix have teased that they may be joined by a special guest on stage at the BRIT Awards.
The ‘Woman Like Me’ hitmakers were announced as performers at the ceremony at The O2 in London, on February 20th, along with Dua Lipa, Sam Smith and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man and The 1975.
The girl group’s band member Perrie Edwards has hinted that they could be performing a collaboration on the night, though she didn’t say whether it would be a new one or a previous song.
Admitting she is “very, very nervous” about the big performance, she told Tom & Daisy on KISS Breakfast: “There might be a collaboration…
“Expect big things as always. We love putting on a big show. So I’m very, very nervous.”
Perrie – who is joined by Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock in the band – says they are hoping to nab the awards for Best Group and Best Video for ‘Woman Like Me’ – but they’d be happy to lose out to Dua Lipa and Jess Glynne, who are up in the latter category for ‘One Kiss’ and ‘These Days’ respectively.
Perrie says it “really hurts” when you go home empty handed from an awards show.
She admitted: “It actually really hurts your soul when you go to these things and you don’t win. I know we practise the whole ‘we didn’t win, but congratulations’. When really on the inside we’re thinking ‘Dammit!'”
However, she is rooting for her fellow female stars.
Asked who else she would like do well, she said: “I’m just excited for the women, to be honest. I feel like the women are taking over the BRITs. So many women have been nominated. I love Anne-Marie, I love Jess Glynne. Dua Lipa is just smashing the c**p out of it right now.”
The 25-year-old singer – who is dating football ace Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – also quipped that she and her bandmates have been practicing their “losing face” ever since they competed on ‘The X Factor’, which they went on to win in 2011.
She joked: “We had to do that [a ‘losing face’] the whole way through ‘X Factor’ so we’re pros at it now.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Keeley Hawes has joined the cast of ‘Year of the Rabbit’.
The 42-year-old actress will guest star in the Channel 4 comedy series, which will feature Matt Berry, Freddie Fox and Susan Wokoma, as mysterious character Lydia, and and she is delighted to be working “on such a brilliantly original show”.
She said: “Lydia is such an enigmatic character. It’s been a thoroughly enjoyable, bonkers experience.”
The six-part series follows Detective Inspector Rabbit as a “hardened booze-hound cop in Victorian London” and his two partners in Victorian Whitechapel.
Channel 4 added: “He’s aided and abetted by his new partner Wilbur Strauss (Freddie Fox) and the country’s first female police officer, Mabel Wisbech (Susan Wokoma), as they bring justice to the streets of the East End.”
Sally Phillips – who will play Princess Juliana of Bulgaria – is also delighted to have joined the cast and loved playing an Eastern European autocrat with access to guns.
She said: “I can report that there is literally nothing more pleasurable than playing a haughty, 19th Century, pansexual, Bulgarian autocrat with access to guns. I may have peaked.”
Jill Halfpenny – who will feature as the Rabbit’s ex-girlfriend Flora – had “the best time” filming the show.
She added: “I’m thrilled to be a part of Year Of The Rabbit. It’s an amazing creative team and I’ve had the best time making it.”
The programme, which has gone into production, will feature Alun Armstrong, Paul Kaye, Craig Parkinson, David Dawson, Ann Mitchell, Alistair Petrie, Garth Marenghi and Matthew Holness.
The upcoming series is directed by BAFTA-nominated Ben Taylor and produced by Hannah Mackay.

OHMYGOSSIP — Vogue Williams is set to star in celebrity version of ‘Gogglebox’.
The 33-year-old TV personality and her husband Spencer Matthews have been asked to participate in the Channel 4 show – which sees people critique the week’s biggest TV shows from their own sofa – along with Marvin and Rochelle Humes and Jamie and Rebekah Vardy.
A TV source told The Sun’s Bizarre TV column: “Channel 4 bosses are excited.
“As well as hearing what big-name stars banter about, they know viewers will love peeking inside their living rooms and seeing what they eat, drink and wear when slobbing out in front of the telly.
“They’re hoping that some cracking anecdotes will slip out, too.
“The only problem is a lot of the stars have busy schedules, so the filming in July needs to fit in around that.
“It’s important to bosses that they don’t just have reality stars and that they entice some credible names, too.”
Vogue and Spencer – who have four-month-old son Theodore together – met on UK winter sports show ‘The Jump’ in early 2017, and although Vogue was forced to pull out of the show after just one episode due to injury, the former ‘Made in Chelsea’ star went on to win the competition.
The new ‘Gogglebox’ series was commissioned following the success of the Channel 4 show’s charity specials.
Previous specials – which raised money for ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ – featured Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Noel Gallagher.
The upcoming series will feature a recurring cast airing their views on current TV – but this time they will all be famous couples, families or friends.
The show’s production company – Studio Lambert Producers – are also said to be keen to add ‘Hollyoaks’ co-stars and good friends Malique Thompson-Dwyer and Ellis Hollins.

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny DeVito thinks the CGI elements of the live-action ‘Dumbo’ movie are “kind of cool”.
The veteran actor stars as Max Medici in the Tim Burton-directed film, and he’s admitted to being wowed by the experience of interacting with the CGI elements in the movie.
He shared: “I’ve never done that before. It’s really kind of cool.
“The first time I saw it, we have a couple people in green suits. We have these big aluminium outlines of how big an elephant would be, with eyes that are like little tennis balls.
“They’re carried by a person in green so that when you’re in the relationship, you know where it’s gonna be.”
DeVito, 74 – whose co-stars include Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Eva Green, and Alan Arkin – also admitted to being charmed by the film’s “never-give-up” tone.
He told Collider: “It’s very, very positive. Hopeful. Almost a never-give-up kind of thing.
“In life, you see all the different things that infiltrate the good things in life. Things that surprise you come out of nowhere. Like when you think you’re making a move with someone who maybe is duplicitous.
“In terms of a younger person, or an older person, by now you guys must have learned this already, I hope, but the idea is that you can’t always believe what somebody tells you.
“Sometimes it messes up all your hopes and dreams. But if you all stick together, possibly you could get out of it and there’ll be a happy ending. And dreams do come true.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mads Mikkelsen’s passion for graphic novels drew him to star in ‘Polar’.
The 53-year-old actor stars in the new action film – which is based on the comics series of the same name by Victor Santos – and Mads admitted that his fondness of graphic novels attracted him to the project.
He explained: “I am actually a huge graphic novel collector. But I kind of stopped 20 years ago when it was just becoming too much. There was too much to read.”
Mads plays the role of Duncan Vizla – a working-class assassin who is close to retirement – in the Jonas Akerlund-directed movie.
And the Hollywood star – who appears alongside the likes of Vanessa Hudgens and Matt Lucas – admitted to relishing playing the “super cool” character.
Asked why he wanted to star in the movie, Mads told Screen Rant: “Well, basically he’s just cool. He’s super cool.”
Meanwhile, Jonas has revealed he’s keen to turn ‘Polar’ into a franchise.
He said: “It’s supposed to be based on the first book, but we kind of borrowed a little bit from the second and the third book as well. And we also added some stuff that aren’t even in the book.
“So, we had the freedom of working with these characters as we wanted – and, yeah, the ‘Polar’ story has way more to give.
“[Victor Santos] actually wrote five books, and there’s a lot more stories in there; and the characters are great, so why not?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Vinnie Jones would happily swap his career in Hollywood for a return to professional soccer.
The 54-year-old actor – who has starred in hits such as ‘Snatch’ and ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’ – made his name in soccer, before making the switch into the movie business.
But Vinnie explained: “I would love to have stayed in football, that’s the big regret I have in my life.”
Despite the success he’s enjoyed in the movie business, Vinnie admitted that shooting a film still can’t replace the excitement he used to get from soccer.
However, Vinnie appreciates all of the incredible moments he’s enjoyed since his playing career ended.
He told Planet Football: “It never replaced the buzz of football, but it gave me a different buzz.
“Walking on the set of my first movie in Hollywood and seeing Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie coming out of their trailers and walking on to set with me was an amazing moment.
“It was the first scene for ‘Gone In 60 Seconds’ and my bum completely dropped out. Whether that was a buzz or a panic, I don’t know, but it was certainly memorable.
“The buzz of playing football is hard to replace. I can see why a lot of footballers have a breakdown when their career ends because playing golf every day is no replacement.
“What has happened to me with my acting career was wonderful, but I would swap it in a heartbeat to be on the training pitch every day as a player or a manager with the lads.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ozzy Osbourne has had to cancel his 2019 UK and European tour on doctor’s orders after being struck down with a bad case of flu.
The 70-year-old heavy metal legend has had to pull out of 15 dates on his ‘No More Tours 2′ – due to kick off on Wednesday (30.01.19) at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland – as he is too ill to step on stage.
A statement posted on his official Instagram account read: “OZZY has been forced to postpone the entire UK and European leg of his NO MORE TOURS 2 tour on doctors’ orders.
“This follows yesterday’s announcement that OSBOURNE was postponing the first four dates of the tour because of the flu.
“After seeing his physician again, OSBOURNE has been diagnosed with a severe upper-respiratory infection which the doctor feels could develop into pneumonia given the physicality of the live performances and an extensive travel schedule throughout Europe in harsh winter conditions.”
Ozzy – who is married to Sharon Osbourne – is “completely devastated” to have to let his fans down but has vowed to make it up to them when he heads out on the road for the rescheduled dates.
In the statement, the ‘Bark at the Moon’ singer said: “I’m completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour. It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to s**t. First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis. I want to apologise to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years, my band, my crew and to Judas Priest for letting you all down. However, I promise the tour with Judas Priest will be completed. It’s being rescheduled right now to start in September. Again, I apologise to everyone. God Bless. Love you all, Ozzy.”
