OHMYGOSSIP — Brie Larson could “deadlift 225 pounds” after her ‘Captain Marvel’ training.
The 29-year-old actress admits she was never really “sporty” but after nine months of training for her role in the Marvel movie, she “really bulked up”.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she said: “Being sporty is like a new thing. I was super not athletic. I was like a ‘Can you open this water for me?’ person, and then like, a year ago I just really bulked up. I trained for nine months, and then I was able to do crazy things. I could deadlift 225 pounds by the end of it … The ongoing joke with him [her trainer Jason Walsh], because Captain Marvel can move planets, I was like, ‘I just wanna be able to push your car. If I can just push your Jeep, then I’ll feel like I was ready.'”
Brie previously admitted she made huge “sacrifices” for her role as the superhero.
Her co-star Samuel L. Jackson said: “I was, like, ‘She’s insane! What are you doing? Are you pushing a car up a hill? What the hell? What’s going on?’ She sacrificed.”
Brie had previously revealed she did three months of stunt training for two hours every day after nine full months of gruelling training.
She explained: “I did nine months of just training, training, and three months of stunt training with the stunt team where we spent two hours every day, five days a week. It wasn’t until we started shooting and I started doing all my own wirework, stunts and flips and stuff that people were like, ‘You know, nobody… now we’ll tell you; nobody actually does this.’ I was like, ‘Huh.’ But I love it. It definitely makes things more complicated in certain ways because I can be taking a lot more naps than I am.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nina Dobrev has an adventurous bucket list now she has turned 30.
The ‘Vampire Diaries’ star reached the milestone birthday last month and has revealed she wants to go skydiving, swim with sharks and climb Everest in the next few years.
Asked what is on her bucket list, she said: “Skydiving, rock climbing, Everest, bungee jumping, swim with great whites, Bali. I add to it anytime something cool pops up that I want to do.”
Whilst Nina is quite an adventurous person, she admits she found it scary performing in front of a live audience on the set of her new sitcom, ‘Fam’.
She shared to W magazine: “The very first live show was absolutely terrifying, and I felt like I was going to die. I don’t think I’ve ever felt that much anxiety in my life. But with every show after that, it went away a little bit more and more, to the point where it is still there … This was an opportunity that came up, and I had never done a sitcom before. I’m a massive fan of Friends, and the genre had really intrigued me, but I didn’t know much about it … I was a little apprehensive [about returning to television] at first, but honestly, finding a great character and great people that you want to work with is such a blessing.”
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty previously admitted she loves the challenge of staying in shape and eating healthily.
She said: “I’m getting older and more conscious of what I eat and how I eat it and what I do. Doing something different [each day] has been the most fun, and I’ve seen the most benefit because you shock your system.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Pratt is thinking about a “fall, winter” wedding.
The ‘Guardians of The Galaxy’ star has revealed he and his fiancée Katherine Schwarzenegger haven’t “really” figured out many details for their upcoming nuptials but were considering a wedding towards the end of the year.
He said: “We’re maybe [thinking of a] fall, winter kind of thing. We have a lot to get done.”
And Chris has revealed his six-year-old son Jack, who he has with his ex-wife Anna Faris, is excited about the wedding.
Speaking to reporters at ‘The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part’ premiere in Los Angeles on Saturday (03.02.19), he also revealed Jack is “so thrilled” about the upcoming wedding.
Chris announced his engagement to Katherine last month.
Sharing a romantic snap of the pair on Instagram with Katherine’s engagement ring on show, Chris wrote: “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
Whilst Katherine wrote in her own post: “My sweet love. Wouldn’t want to live this life with anyone but you.”
And Anna is thrilled for the couple and has even offered to officiate their wedding.
Speaking at the time, she said: “Chris texted me this morning and he was like, you know, ‘I proposed to Katherine last night,’ I was like ‘Ah! That’s amazing.’ And I texted him back, ‘Just want to remind you, I’m an ordained minister.’
“I so subscribe to the idea of expanding family and love with Jack, I’m just so happy. We’re all really happy. I knew that it was going to happen, I love her, and I love him, and I’m just so happy that they found each other. They’re both f***ing amazing people, the truth is there isn’t any bitterness.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B enjoyed a night out with her husband Offset after she revealed they were “working” on their relationship.
The ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker was seen leaving the Big Game Weekend Party at Oak Nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday night (01.02.19).
The couple didn’t seem that tactile but spent most of the night close to each other as they chatted with other guests including Migos’ Quavo.
Cardi B had previously revealed the couple are working on their marriage for the sake of their daughter Kulture, six months.
She said: “We’re just taking things slow. We have a baby right now. That’s like our real big focus. I hang out with him, I talk to him every day and we do our thing. It’s just like – to make things perfect … it takes time. You know, f***ing and hanging out doesn’t mean that you guys are on like a perfect note, it takes time. It takes time. And it’s a marriage and there’s a child involved and family involved … I feel like we just really are a very regular couple. We just do regular things. I just feel like: We’re famous … we’re really popular right now – I just don’t know the obsession, like I feel like everything we do is a big deal. Even before the bad scandals, just from the first time they seen us together, it was just like this big crazy deal.”
Offset has been “trying to convince” Cardi to take him back ever since they split up in December with various grand gestures.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bradley Cooper is “very” nervous about performing at the Oscars.
The 44-year-old actor is set to duet with Lady Gaga on their hit ‘Shallow’ from ‘A Star Is Born’ at the award ceremony at the 91st Academy Awards on February 24 and he admits he is nervous about singing in front of people.
Asked if he was prepared, he said: “Not at all. I’m going to have to prepare a lot.”
Before adding: “I couldn’t sing before this movie and so, in terms of being able to sing in front of people, it’s very nerve wracking. It’s not easy what they do. We worked tirelessly [to prepare for the movie]. So I called him [his voice coach Roger Love] and said I’m back in Los Angeles on the 15th of February and hopefully I can do it!”
Bradley recently took to the stage with Lady Gaga at her Las Vegas show but insisted it wasn’t planned and he was just hoping it wasn’t “horrendous”.
He told Entertainment Tonight: “I didn’t have any preparation. That was just to see. That was an amazing experience. But no, I want to work and like rehearse [before the Oscars]. I’d thought about it and called Gaga, so maybe I’d go to the show and then I knew she was singing ‘Shallow’ for her finale. And I thought, I don’t know, maybe if she wants to bring me up, let’s see if it’s not horrendous.”
It was confirmed over the weekend that Lady Gaga and Bradley will perform ‘Shallow’ at the Oscars, where the song is nominated in the Best Original Song category.
A simple message posted on The Academy’s Twitter account read: “Cooper. Gaga. ‘Shallow.’ #Oscars. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner cancelled Stormi’s first birthday party because of the rain.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star was meant to have a huge birthday bash for her little girl but had to make it a much more relaxed affair, with just her relatives and closest friends, after poor weather forecasts.
In a series clips on her Instagram story, she said: “Alright so, we were supposed to have Stormi’s birthday party this weekend. It’s not happening because it was supposed to rain and it’s not raining anymore.
“It didn’t end up raining, but better safe than sorry. We have all her cousins here and everybody who loves her. We’re playing with farm animals.”
Kylie had previously claimed that becoming a mother to Stormi a year ago had helped her to love herself more than ever.
She explained: “I feel like having a daughter, and thinking about beauty in the future, has definitely changed me, and I feel like it has made me love myself more and accept everything about me. Even my ears, I always felt like they stuck out too far, and she [Stormi] has the same ears as me and so now I love my ears … It’s just having a different outlook on life so I can pass that on to her. I want to be an example for her. What kind of example would I be if she said she didn’t like her ears, and then I didn’t like them either? I just want to teach her that. I’m trying to love myself more.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins says her nerves have “gone” after her ‘Dancing On Ice’ fall.
The ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star fell on her face during her performance on the show last Sunday night (27.01.19) and admits it knocked her confidence.
Speaking after her skate this week (03.02.19), she admitted: “I’m really upset because obviously last week I had really improved and then since the fall, my nerves have gone.”
Gemma and judge Jason Gardiner famously fell out on the show a few weeks ago when she accused the choreographer of “selling stories” on her but this week, Jason gave the television personality her highest score from all the judges, a four.
And Gemma even seemed to bury the hatchet with Jason as she agreed with his comments that her routine needed better execution and even asked if they could be “friends”.
Gemma had to use her mother Joan’s wheelchair for a few days this week after her fall because her knees were very bruised from the slip up.
Her boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent said: “Gemma couldn’t sleep last night because she’s in so much pain. The swelling around her thighs and knees is horrific, and she’s black and blue all over. She’s struggling to walk so I had to carry her to the car earlier, and she’s been using Joan’s wheelchair on and off all day because she’s in so much pain. She’s seeing a private doctor tomorrow who will determine what will happen next. It will be her worst nightmare if she’s forced to pull out of the show, she doesn’t want to be a sick note, she wants to continue and we strongly believe she’s a real contender to win.”
The GC previously admitted she was “absolutely devastated and embarrassed” by the fall but couldn’t wait to get back onto the ice.
She wrote on Instagram at the time: “Absolutely devastated & embarrassed. My heart is broken but when I went down I thought of @gypsyking101 Tyson Fury and knew I had to get back up & carry on! Can’t thank you enough for your support on social media and picking up the phone to vote! I’m in a lot of pain but bring on fantasy week!! (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ally Brooke felt “alone” in Fifth Harmony.
The ‘Work From Home’ hitmaker admitted she was devastated when she was told by a label executive that she couldn’t feature on another artist’s song and admits it left her feeling very alone and wondering why it was happening to her.
Speaking on Snapchat’s This Is How I Made It series, she said: “We were all doing features. Everybody was experimenting and kinda spreading their wings … I found this one song that I really liked. I was a fan of the song and I loved working with the artist. But then I was told within the label that I couldn’t release it.
“That person who had to approve it, he called me and he literally was just like, ‘You’re not doing it, you’re not releasing this feature. I’m not gonna let it happen.’ On top of that, the tone that it was told to me was very disheartening. The most important thing was that everybody at the time were allowed to do features. This is not fair to be, one, spoken to this way, but also told no because of a personal opinion. It was just, to me, not right. So in that moment, I felt alone and just felt like, ‘I don’t understand why this is happening to me.'”
Meanwhile, Ally previously revealed she is excited to “have a say in everything that she does” with her new music now she has gone solo.
She said: “I’m ready to unleash Ally. For so long I was in this box and now I’m out of it. I’m able to be who I want to be. Even my mom got emotional the other day. She’s like, ‘Ally, you are you again.’ And it’s beautiful. It really is. I love being able to have a say in everything that I do. They’re so open and also very smart and meticulous, and they pay attention to the details which is something that I’m just such a fan of.”

The ‘Superbass’ hitmaker is so grateful to have Kenneth Petty in her life and says there is a “different level of friendship and passion” between them, as she admitted she is in the “best place” she’s been in a long time “spiritually”.
She said: “If I’m being honest, spiritually, I’m at the best place I’ve been in a long time. I think who you have in your life determines how you feel spiritually. I’m happy now with or without a man, but it just so happens the n***a in my life, he’s known me since I was 14. He knows the real me, I don’t have to pretend. OHMYGOSSIP — 21 Savage has been arrested by immigration officials in Atlanta.
The ‘No Heart’ rapper was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Georgia on Sunday (03.02.19) and they allege that the rapper is a British citizen and has overstayed his United States visa for over a decade.
ICE spokesman Bryan Cox said: “U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested unlawfully present United Kingdom national Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph AKA ’21 Savage’ during a targeted operation with federal and local law enforcement partners early Sunday in metro Atlanta … Mr. Abraham-Joseph is presently in ICE custody in Georgia and has been placed into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts. ICE will now await the outcome of his case before a federal immigration judge to determine future actions.”
21 Savage has been accused of entering the country illegally in 2005 and staying in the United States after his visa expired the following year. ICE also cited his felony drug charge conviction in Georgia in 2014 when making the case for his arrest.
A legal team are currently working on a case for the 26-year-old rapper – whose real name is Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph – and say it is all a “misunderstanding”.
Dina LaPolt, 21 Savage’s attorney, added: “We are working diligently to get Mr. Abraham-Joseph out of detention while we work with the authorities to clear up any misunderstanding. Mr. Abraham-Joseph is a role model to the young people in this country, especially in Atlanta, Georgia, and is actively working in the community leading programs to help underprivileged youths in financial literacy.”

The ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker took to the social media app on Monday (04.02.19) to share a series of photographs of her partner – who she first started dating in February 2017 – including one of the couple staring lovingly into each other’s eyes and a festive family snap of them with Alex’s two daughters, Natasha, 14, and Ella, 10, and Jennifer’s children with third husband Marc Anthony, 10-year-old twins Max and Emme.
The 49-year-old singer-and-actress accompanied the tribute gallery with a note about how “blessed” she is to be with the 43-year-old retired baseball star, who she thanked for making her world “a more beautiful, safe and stable place”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ava DuVernay boycotted the Super Bowl on Sunday (03.02.19) in a show of support for former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
The 46-year-old director – who has helmed movies such as ‘Selma’ and ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ – has taken to social media to explain the reasoning behind her decision to boycott the sporting event in Atlanta, and to voice her support for Kaepernick, who started the take-a-knee movement in protest against racial inequality in America.
She wrote on Twitter: “I will not be a spectator, viewer or supporter of the #SuperBowl today in protest of the @NFL’s racist treatment of @Kaepernick7 and its ongoing disregard for the health + well-being of all its players. To watch the game is to compromise my beliefs. It’s not worth it. #ImWithKap (sic)”
In response to the tweet, Kaepernick replied: “Love you Sister @ava (sic)”
Another big-name star to voice his support for Kaepernick was rapper-turned-actor Common, who quoted Angela Davis, the American political activist, on Twitter.
He wrote: “”I’m no longer accepting the things I cannot change. I’m changing the things I cannot accept” Dr. Angela Davis. #ImWithKap (sic)”
Meanwhile, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine previously admitted he thought long and hard before agreeing to perform this year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
The band has been widely criticised for agreeing to perform the gig amid the Kaepernick controversy, but Adam explained that ultimately, he decided to listen to his own heart.
The singer – who was joined on stage by Travis Scott and Big Boi from Outkast – said: “No one thought about it more than I did.
“No one put more thought and love into this than I did. I spoke to many people, most importantly though, I silenced all the noise and listened to myself, and made my decision about how I felt.”

OHMYGOSSIP — A new ‘Toy Story 4’ teaser has introduced two new characters.
The latest trailer for the much-anticipated Disney movie was aired following the Super Bowl on Sunday (03.02.19) and revealed the identity of the new characters, Bunny and Duckie, who are voiced by ‘Key & Peele’ stars Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key.
The toys are introduced to the franchise as prizes to be won at a carnival, where Buzz Lightyear – who is played by Tim Allen – and Woody – played by Tom Hanks – are planning to meet.
The trailer also harks back to the original ‘Toy Story’ movie from 1995, opening with Randy Newman’s song ‘You’ve Got a Friend In Me’.
And the first shot is of Woody and Bo Peep searching for Buzz at the carnival.
The teaser features a humorous exchange between Buzz and the new characters, before ending with the movie’s official release date – June 21 – appearing on screen.
Disney previously revealed that the upcoming movie will focus on Woody’s relationship with Bo.
A synopsis read: “Woody has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie.
“So when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky (Tony Hale), declares himself as ‘trash’ and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy.
“But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Disney are reportedly working on two ‘Zootopia’ sequels.
Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister – who voiced fennec fox Finnick in the animation – has claimed that the movie, which won Best Animated Feature at the Oscars in 2017, is set to become a trilogy with Walt Disney’s Animated Studios reportedly throwing millions at the franchise.
Lister spoke at a fan event in Ontario, Canada, recently, where he claimed: “I can tell you for sure I’m doing another ‘Zootopia’ with Disney. We doing three of them. [There were] three ‘Madagascars’.
“We’re gonna replace that. We’re the biggest film that Disney is producing.
“The last one was $240 million.
“This one I’m hearing will be $300 million.
“That’s what they spent on the budget, not the advertising. But the movie made $2.6 billion, with merchandising and the box office.”
The first movie was directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore and raked in over a billion dollars at the box office.
The original movie reimagines a world in which humans have never existed, and starred Jason Bateman as friendly fox Nick Wilde and ‘Once Upon A Time’ actress Ginnifer Goodwin as Lieutenant Judy Hopps.
The all-star cast also featured the likes of Shakira, Idris Elba, Kristen Bell and Octavia Spencer.
A Zootopia land was recently announced for the Shanghai Disneyland in China, proving that the much-loved animation is still popular.
There is no word yet on when the sequels would begin filming and whether or not the the original cast would be returning.
Disney are yet to comment on Lister’s comments.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj thinks Tyga is the “hottest rapper in the world” right now.
The 36-year-old hip-hop star made the claim during a conversation with Soulja Boy on Queen Radio, saying she thinks that, objectively, Tyga is currently the “hottest” star in the genre.
She explained: “We not label mates no more, we had beef at one point over ‘Truffle Butter’.
“But over time, you just realise how stupid s**t is. Shout-out to Tyga. Are you the hottest rapper in the world?”
Soulja Boy replied: “Not even rapper, I’m the hottest, period. Been trending, I conquered.”
Nicki subsequently admitted to admiring the rapper’s honesty – but also claimed that there’s a double standard in how Soulja Boy’s statement would be received.
The ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker insisted it’s tough for her to say what she really feels about the music industry and other artists.
She explained: “I want to say that if I was to go on a radio station and say the things you said, I would be labelled as angry.
“If I said b***hes copied my formula … artists are no longer themselves.
“I remember artists were so carefree and fun and they’d leave comments, and now everyone is politically correct. They just want to make sure they’re not getting dissed on the blogs.
“Thank you for saying what you want to say. It’s never time for a black woman to say what she feel. That goes to back in the day. You’re a likeable guy. You always have been.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Roxanne Pallett has felt “scared” to leave her house following her controversial appearance on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in 2018.
The 36-year-old actress – who accused housemate Ryan Thomas of hitting her whilst on the reality TV show – spiralled into depression amid the backlash from her appearance on the programme, and has admitted to withdrawing herself from everyday life.
She shared: “I’ve been scared to leave the house, and strangers have shouted and spat at me in the street. I’ve been called evil and toxic from people who don’t know me.
“I’ve changed my email address and phone number and I’ve recently moved house. I was getting messages from people saying they wished I was dead, or that I should kill myself. After a while you begin to believe the things you hear, I’d had enough.”
Roxanne revealed that the backlash against her was so intense, she was advised to leave the UK.
She told The Sun Online: “After I left ‘Big Brother’, I was advised to leave the country and get away for my own safety, because the hate was so much. I got threats and everyone I used to have around me had disappeared.
“I felt constantly sick. It’s bad enough when one person berates you but I had thousands. I was put on anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds immediately, which numbed me but I still felt trapped in confusion and fear.
“It was the worst and heaviest feeling of shame and regret and also remorse because I agree with how everyone felt; it was my fault. There’s nothing anyone could say to me that I haven’t said to myself.”
