Matt Evers ‘nervous’ for All New Monty

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Evers says he’s “never been more nervous” than he is for ‘The All New Monty: Who Bares Wins.’
The ‘Dancing On Ice’ pro – who was partnered with Gemma Collins before being booted off the show Sunday (10.02.19) – has revealed that he didn’t realise he’d be dancing completely nude in the racy ITV show, which sees celebrities bare all to raise awareness of prostate cancer.
Appearing on Jeremy Vine on 5 on Wednesday morning (13.02.19), Matt said: “We’re raising awareness for testicular cancer.
“I had a testicular cancer scare a couple of years back and thankfully I am got a clean bill of health but this is something in my career I would have never thought I’d do and it’s performing for millions and millions of people with ‘Dancing On Ice’, and now taking my clothes off for millions and millions of people.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been more nervous! It’s properly everything off and when I agreed to do the show I was like, ‘I don’t know, it’ll be smoke and mirrors or I’ll wear a flesh-coloured thong’ no.”
Matt will join ‘Love Island’ winner Jack Fincham, ‘Emmerdale’s’ Kelvin Fletcher, ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’ Joe Pasquale, ‘Strictly Come Dancing’s’ Gorka Marquez and footballer Jason Cundy.
Ashley Banjo will be oversea the dance routine alongside ‘Pointless’ host Alexander Armstrong, who will take care of the singing for the highly-anticipated evening.
Ashley said: “It’s such a privilege to be able to be a part of this fantastic series.
“This show has been a life-changing experience for me and hopefully for many other men around the country who have been checked or had conversations about cancer that they wouldn’t have had otherwise.
“Every year I plan something I hope will be better than the last, but this time Xander and I really have gone full-out to make this the biggest and best yet!”

Judge Rinder scouting for ‘entertainers’

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Judge Rinder’ producers have been scouting for “entertainers” to take part in the courtroom show.
The ITV show – which stars criminal law barrister Robert Rinder – has been sending out Facebook posts from researchers looking for “DJs and entertainers who are looking for TV opportunities”.
DJ karaoke host and close-up magician Steve Colledge told the Mirror: “I told [an ITV executive] I’m a magician and have parrots and do magic with the parrots.
“He asked ‘does anyone owe you money?’. I said ‘no’. He said ‘do you owe anyone else money or anything else like that?’.
“He kind of went down the lines of that for a while then dropped the bombshell he was looking for someone for Judge Rinder.”
A spokeswoman for the programme has addressed the social media call-out, and insisted the team looks for a “wide range” of possible contributors.
The rep added that anyone progressing through the casting stages “must have a real case to be heard”.
She said: “We speak to a wide range of potential contributors in the early stages of the production process.
“Anyone who goes beyond this early stage must have a real case to be heard and the production team works rigorously to ensure each case is editorially and legally sound before going forward to be heard by Judge Rinder.”
Meanwhile, Judge Rinder himself previously suggested he should be named Best judge in the National Television Awards because of his legal background.
This year, the acid-tongued star was up against Simon Cowell for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and ‘The X Factor,’ Robbie Williams and Louis Tomlinson for ‘The X Factor’ and eventual winner David Walliams for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.
He said before the ceremony: “It’s not Judge Cowell, whose the other, Judge Louis, although I like him very much. I think One Direction fans, you should vote for me, it’s what he would want, definitely.
“There’s judge Walliams, he also wants everyone to vote for me and judge Williams.
“I shall be absolutely furious if you don’t vote for me, it would be completely wrong!”

Professor Green credits housemate with saving his life

OHMYGOSSIP — Professor Green has credited his housemate Ruari Stainfield-Bruce with saving his life after he fractured his neck following a seizure.
The ‘I Need You Tonight’ hitmaker suffered severe injuries during a seizure on Tuesday morning (12.02.19), and after revealing the condition – which caused him to cancel his UK tour – on social media, he has now praised events manager Ruari, as well as close friend Eddie Jenkins and his dog Arthur, for helping to save his life.
Posting a picture of Ruari cuddling Eddie’s dog Arthur, Green wrote: “If this girl didn’t hear my fall who knows where I’d be. Love you @ruari_sb.
“Also love the photographer for looking out for me life a proper friend, love you too bro @eddiejenkins.
“Also love Arthur but he doesn’t have an insta yet. Don’t forget to tell the people you love how important and special they are as we saw today from my close call, you never know whats around the corner. (sic)”
Green, 35, had previously posted three pictures of himself in a neck brace after being rushed to hospital, where he told fans about his horror seizure.
He wrote: “I had seizure this morning which resulted in a fall while I was packing for tour. Depending on how you look at this fall I was extremely lucky. I fractured vertebrae in my neck and subsequently had to cancel my tour that was due to start today. I’ll be back in the winter with a bigger tour. I’ve had two further seizures and am lucky I didn’t break my neck. Really f***ing lucky. Thanks for baring with me. most importantly thank you to our NHS, heroes amongst men (and women). (sic)”
And with no obvious cause for the seizure, the ‘Just Be Good To Green’ rapper thinks it is down to him overworking himself.
He added: “Just after I sent this pic I sent to someone to say how ready for tour I was, I had the first seizure I’ve ever had which led to me falling without hands to soften the fall and fractured my neck in doing so. After I got to the hospital I had a second seizure with again no obvious cause. There’s one theory – I’ve run myself into the ground doing way too much, over stretching myself as per usual and it’s finally caught up on me. Seems quite likely.
“I’m gonna use this time to implement all the self care I encourage others to put into practice – and it’s going to stay in practice as there’s nothing like nearly breaking your neck to put things into perspective.”

Courtney Act wants X Factor judging role

OHMYGOSSIP — Courtney Act wants to be an ‘X Factor’ judge.
The ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ winner – who emerged victorious from the Channel 5 reality TV house in January last year – first found fame on ‘Australian Idol’ and later went onto star in ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’, and she certainly thinks she has what it takes to join Simon Cowell on the panel.
The drag queen – whose real name is Shane Jenek – told the Daily Star newspaper: “Hell yeah, I would love to.
“I don’t know whether I would be the nice judge or the mean judge, but maybe the constructive judge.”
The star also revealed her plan to win over the show’s boss Cowell after befriending Little Mix – who won the talent show in 2011 and went to become one of the biggest bands in the world – and starred in their ‘Power’ video.
For the most recent series, he was joined on the panel by One Direction star Louis Tomlinson, and married couple Robbie Williams and Ayda Field.
However, Courtney added: “Maybe I could be a guest judge, I could befriend the judges, or someone who knows them… I would love a Little Mix Collab!”
Last year, Courtney also set her sights on another reality project as she admitted she would love to appear on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ as the first drag queen to compete on the BBC show.
She previously said: “I hope the BBC would be open to it. They love a stunt casting. Surely it’s time for the BBC to do it?
“I would want to be Courtney and dance with a male partner.”

Dermot O’Leary quits National Television Awards

OHMYGOSSIP — Dermot O’Leary has stepped down as host of the National Television Awards.
The TV star – who first fronted the prestigious ceremony in 2010 – has confirmed he is quitting his role, and revealed plans to pass “on the baton” next year.
In a statement shared on Instagram and Twitter, he said: “After 10 years of proudly hosting the National Television Awards, I have decided it’s time to step down as host.
“It’s been a tough decision because we have had a ball over the last decade, but 10 years feels about right.
“I would like to thank Indigo and my ITV family for a brilliant ten years and look forward to proudly passing on the baton in 2020… and a holiday in January!”
The announcement comes after Dermot had joked he would call time on his run hosting the show if Geordie duo Ant & Dec claimed their 18th consecutive prize in the Best TV Presenter category.
He quipped: “If they win it, having not been on television, we may as well just chuck in the towel.”
Dec Donnelly laughed at the pair’s pal’s comment during their acceptance speech, as he teased: “Special mention to Dermot who said he was going to chuck the towel in if we won this year so … happy retirement Dermot!”
Dermot has since opened up about his banter with the ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ stars and revealed they were going to have a catch up soon.
He said at the time: “The NTAs were a lot of fun and that is a joke I have been making for the last five years.
“I texted Ant and Dec like about 20 minutes after the show.
“I just said ‘thanks for that’ and they went ‘we couldn’t resist it, lets have dinner in a couple of weeks.’ ”

Kelsey Grammer: Frasier revival will deal with John Mahoney’s death

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelsey Grammer says the ‘Frasier’ revival will have to “deal with” the death of John Mahoney.
The 63-year-old star – who played psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane in iconic sitcom ‘Cheers’ and his own popular spin-off – revealed the new series will address the real life death of the man behind on-screen father Martin.
Appearing on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’, he revealed: “The first principle is that it is a different story, basically. Same group of characters but in a different setting. Something has changed in their lives.
“Certainly, John Mahoney died over a year ago and we would probably deal with that a little bit, with dad being gone.”
Mahoney passed away aged 77 in February last year, and he received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his performance in the sitcom.
Grammer has described the upcoming reboot as a totally fresh take on the premise, and said it was a “third act” rather than a “trying to pick it up” from where they left off.
He added: “[Frasier’s] passed the radio show. He might be an art dealer. He might be a professor. We don’t know yet.”
During its 11 year run, ‘Frasier’ won a record-setting 37 Primetime Emmy Awards, so a network deal seems to be a matter of time once Grammer and the team have finalised a script.
The original sitcom finished with Frasier leaving his life – and family and friends – behind in Seattle as he moved to start a new life in Chicago.

In a statement posted on Twitter, he wrote: “After scoring 93 perfect tens, reaching four finals and lifting one Glitterball, it’s time for me to find a new challenge and so I’ve decided to make last year – my final season on Strictly.
“I’ve had eight fantastic years, full of wonderful memories, thanks to the incredible partners, professionals and myriad of behind the scenes teams who all work to make Strictly the amazing production that it is.”
Pasha ended his post by paying tribute to all the viewers who have supported him and voted for him over the past several years.
He added: “The biggest thanks go to all the members of the public who’ve supported me so much over these years – I look forward to seeing you on the Strictly Pro-Tour this spring, and for many future adventures to come!”
The official ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ Twitter page confirmed his decision and thanked him for his contribution to the programme.
The tweet read: “Sadly after eight incredible series, the brilliant @PashaKovalev has decided to leave #Strictly. Pasha, from all of us, thank you for your amazing choreography and routines over the years. You’ll be sorely missed!”
Pasha has a lot to be thankful to ‘Strictly’ for as he met his girlfriend Rachel Riley on the programme in 2013 when he was partnered with her.
The Russian hunk joined ‘Strictly’ in 2011 after having previously worked on American show ‘So You Think You Can Dance?’ and his only victory came in 2014 when he and ‘Love Island’ presenter Caroline Flack danced to perfect scores in the final to win glitterball trophy.

Jennifer Lopez teases US tour for 50th birthday

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez is set to tour the US to mark her 50th birthday.
The ‘On The Floor’ singer turns the millstone age on July 24, and has teased the forthcoming summer run, which will be entitled the ‘It’s My Party Tour’, which will see her perform throughout June and July.
Appearing on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, she spilled: “This summer I decided I wanted to do something big for my birthday, since it’s a big birthday.
“I’m going on a US tour, it’s called ‘It’s My Party’… “We’re only doing 25, 28 shows, something like that. It’s just a small amount of shows, but we’ll be out all through June and July.”
Jennifer – who is dating Alex Rodriguez – also admitted that she doesn’t feel her age.
She said: “It’s nuts. Anybody else still feel like you’re 16? I feel like I’m 26.”
Jennifer – who has 10-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony – hasn’t released an album since 2014’s ‘A.K.A.’, but she recently released the track ‘Limitless’ from her latest movie ‘Second Act’.
The actress-and-singer has also provided vocals on Bryan Adams’ ballad ‘That’s How Strong Our Love Is’ from his comeback LP ‘Shine a Light’, which is released on March 1.
Meanwhile, the ‘Dinero’ singer recently led a Motown tribute performance at the Grammys, which was introduced by Smokey Robinson.
The medley featured songs including ‘Dancing in the Street’ and ‘Mr. Postman’, and saw the ‘Shades of Blue’ actress perform alongside the ‘Tears of a Clown’ hitmaker himself and ‘So Sick’ singer Ne-Yo.
Smokey had previously defended critics who bemoaned Jennifer’s selection to lead the segment.
He told Variety: “I don’t think anyone who is intelligent is upset. I think anyone who is upset is stupid.
“Motown was music for everybody. Everybody. Who’s stupid enough to protest Jennifer Lopez doing anything for Motown?”
Jennifer is yet to announce the tour dates for her upcoming US tour.

Ally Brooke: Tyga annihilated Low Key in a good way

OHMYGOSSIP — Ally Brooke says Tyga “annihilated” her song ‘Low Key’ “in a good way”.
The ‘Rack City’ rapper was a last minute addition on the former Fifth Harmony star’s latest single, but she credits the 29-year-old star for making the song what it is.
After revealing that “magically, the stars aligned” when Tyga came on board, the 25-year-old singer told Billboard’s Pop Shop Podcast: “I was blown away. He freaking annihilated that song in the best way possible … He made the record so much better. He brought a new life to it.”
Ally had planned on pushing another single as her debut solo single instead of ‘Low Key’, but she just knew this was “the one”.
She recalled: “It was a pretty magical moment where I felt, ‘this is it, I found her. I found the one!
“I was prepared with another single, so we were almost ready to hit the go button on that but… we couldn’t get it perfect.”
The song was co-written by the likes of John Ryan, Teddy Geiger, and Julian Bunetta, and Ally was impressed from her first listen.
She said: “My manager calls me and he’s like, ‘Ally, oh my gosh, I found this record. I just listened to it and it’s incredible. All these amazing songwriters are a part of it. John Ryan, Julian Bunetta, Ian Kirkpatrick, Teddy Geiger. You need to hear it and if we can get it for you, it’s going to be your single.’
“I was like, ‘oh my gosh, that’s amazing, let me hear it.’ So he played it for me the next day and as soon as I got done with the first listen I was like, ‘wow.'”
And it was a relief for Ally as she had spent “months” in the studio trying to come up with the right song.
She added: “We all really just love (the song) and it feels like me, and that’s what matters.”

Victoria Beckham bans all exotic animal skins from designs

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Beckham has banned exotic animal skins from her fashion brand.
The 44-year-old fashion mogul confirmed that she would be the latest designer to ban exotic animal skins from her collections, and although the former Spice Girl has never used fur in her eponymous label’s designs she will now cut all exotic pelts in order to “reflect the wishes” of her brand and customers.
A spokesperson for Victoria Beckham said: “As a business, we have been looking to action the use of more ethically sourced products that have less environmental impact for some time.
“We are happy to confirm that we will cease using exotic skins in all future collections as of our main fall 2019 ready-to-wear presentation. This decision reflects the wishes of not only the brand, but also that of our customers.”
PETA director Elisa Allen praised the brand’s decision, however, called on other fashion houses, such as Louis Vuitton, to follow Victoria’s “business savvy example” and pledge to stop using animal skins in their collections.
Speaking to MailOnline, she said: “Champagne corks are popping at PETA following Victoria Beckham’s pledge to stop using the skin of crocodiles, snakes, and ostriches.
“For years, PETA has called on Victoria to drop exotic skins from her collections – pointing out that consumers don’t believe in tormenting beautiful animals for fashion – and now, it’s time for other companies, like Louis Vuitton, to follow her business-savvy example.”
Victoria joins Chanel who were the first luxury label to join the likes of Asos, Nike, H&M, and Puma, in banning the use of all exotic skins, and brought in the ban as it was becoming increasingly difficult to ethically source skins that meet the house’s quality standards.

Sarah Jessica Parker fronts Fendi baguette bag campaign

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Jessica Parker is fronting the new Fendi campaign relaunching their legendary baguette handbag.
The 53-year-old actress has reprised her iconic ‘Sex and the City’ character, Carrie Bradshaw – whom she last played in the second spin-off movie in 2010 – in the Italian fashion houses new video campaign about the return of their most iconic handbag to date, the Fendi baguette.
The short video pays homage to an iconic ‘Sex and the City’ scene, and shows four Fendi-clad friends – inspired by the HBO series – running around New York City looking for the purple sequinned bag, however when they ask the shop assistant, he tells them a lady has just bought it.
The four fashionistas – who are influencers Caroline Daur, Natasha Lau, Ebonee Davis and Melissa Martinez – then see Parker as Bradshaw walking with the highly coveted bag and immediately stop her to say: “Ma’am, I need that bag!”
Schooling the women on what the iconic accessory is, Parker simply turns and replies “Oh, this isn’t a bag. It’s a Baguette.”
The blonde beauty previously reprised her iconic role last month for a Stella Artois commercial in aid of non-profit Water.org.
She told HuffPost: “It’s been a while. It was really fun. Slightly peculiar in the best possible way. It was especially meaningful because the purpose was to amplify this initiative.”
Sarah agreed to get on board because of both the creativity of the advert and the cause itself.
She said: “I think just being right and clever about how they wanted to present Carrie for this particular idea — I relied upon their good taste and the subversive nature of it.
“I think it’s smart. … In the past, you have a script and you have all the words you need to remind you if you’ve been away for a while. But this felt like an alternate universe. I was surrounded by smart and good people. It was really easy and really fun.”

Blac Chyna romancing Soulja Boy?

OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna is reportedly romancing Soulja Boy.
The 30-year-old model – who has six-year-old son King Cairo with former partner Tyga, and two-year-old daughter Dream with ex Rob Kardashian – is believed to have split with her boyfriend Kid Buu following their heated argument during a trip to Hawaii last month, but sources say she’s already moved on and is now in a relationship with rapper Soulja Boy.
According to TMZ, the rumoured couple have only been dating for a little over a week, with sources saying the romance started on Instagram, where they slid into each other’s DMs.
The publication reports the pair met up at Sean Kingston’s LA penthouse last week where sparks flew, and they’ve been “inseparable” ever since.
Chyna’s new romance comes after police were called to her Hawaii hotel room last month, following claims of a “disturbance” between her and her then-boyfriend Kid Buu.
Sources said at the time that Chyna scratched Kid Buu, and he is alleged to have then slammed her against a wall several times and choked her, prompting someone to call for emergency services.
The Honolulu Police Department confirmed in a statement: “Shortly before 9 am today, a female visitor staying in Waikiki reported being assaulted by a male acquaintance. The victim reported that she and the suspect had been involved in an argument several hours earlier, and the argument had escalated to a physical confrontation. The male left the area after the confrontation and has not been located. This incident has been classified as abuse of a household member. The investigation is continuing, and no further information is being released at this time.”
The ‘Rob and Chyna’ star and her friends also allegedly angered hotel guests by being “loud and obnoxious” by the pool at the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Honolulu.
Another source said: “They hung out by the pool, partied and were loud. They are not the typical hotel guests. They were definitely being inappropriate in several ways. The girls were showing nipples, they were twerking and just being obnoxious. Hotel management had complaints, because there were families with kids that didn’t like the way they behaved.”

Tiffany Haddish wants to thank her bullies

OHMYGOSSIP — Tiffany Haddish wants to “thank” her school bullies for making her “strong enough” to deal with backlash from trolls.
The 39-year-old actress has credited the people who bullied her throughout her school life for giving her the ability to “enjoy” her success without getting dragged down by her critics, as she says she’s “winning” whether people are “negative or positive” about her.
She said: “The bullies from high school, thank you! All the ones from junior high and elementary that made fun of me, were mean to me, I want to say, ‘Thank you because you moulded me and made me strong enough to deal with all this wonderful success that I’m enjoying! Rolling around in it, thank you!’
“To all the current haters, the people that can’t stand me and say, ‘I’m annoying and you can’t stand my voice. I get on your nerves – thank you for feeling something because that means I’m doing my job!’
“My whole job is to create an emotion, a feeling. I’m an entertainer and whether it be negative or positive, I’m winning especially if you’re talking about me. If you take the energy to write about it, that means you’re wasting your life on talking about me and I don’t even know who you are. It doesn’t bother me because I still get my cheque b***h!”
And the ‘Lego Movie 2’ star thinks bullies are “free publicity”, because they talk about her without her having to promote herself.
She added: “I’m making money off the bullies online. Thank you. Thank you bully, you are free publicity!”
Now that she’s found success and doesn’t care what other people think, the ‘Night School’ star would tell her younger self “not to be afraid of anything”.
When asked by Glamour UK magazine what advice she’d give to her 16-year-old self, Tiffany said: “I would tell her to not be afraid of anything. Let that fear drive you to success. Use it, don’t run from it. Use the fear as fuel for the future and don’t do things out of fear, do it in spite of fear.”
