Priyanka Chopra not rushing into parenthood

OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra thinks she and Nick Jonas will start a family “in an organic way”.
The 36-year-old actress wants to have children with her new husband eventually but they are not making any specific plans because they are currently focused on their wedding and feel it will happen for them one day.
Speaking to reporters at the premiere of ‘Isn’t It Romantic’ in Los Angeles, the former ‘Quantico’ star said: “We both know that that’s something that needs to happen, but it’s not something I think about very much.
“We’re both very driven, we love our work, we’re married to our work, and we’re both very supportive of each other’s work. So I’m sure it will happen in an organic way.”
Nick, 26, previously admitted he was keen to enjoy married life with his wife “for a while” before they thought about having children.
He said: “Let us be married first for a while before we have to make all these big decisions. We’re in our honeymoon period right now and we will be for a very long time.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Baywatch’ actress recently admitted she “always wanted” to add Nick’s surname to her own in order to keep her own identity while also making a statement that they are now a “family” together.
She said: “The gravity of it, it’s like a big deal! I didn’t realise it was that much of a big deal until I did it … No, I always wanted to add his name to mine because I feel like we’re becoming family, and I’m a little traditional and old school like that. But I don’t take away my identity. He gets added to who I am.”

Jason Statham is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s cheerleader

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has praised Jason Statham as her “biggest cheerleader”.
The 31-year-old model-and-actress – who has son Jack, 19 months, with her 51-year-old fiance – feels “lucky” that the ‘Meg’ actor is so “supportive” of her career and also passionate about his own work because it means he understands her commitments.
She told Australia’s Elle magazine: “I just feel lucky that I’m with somebody who is equally as passionate about his own career as he is about mine and he’s really supportive of everything I do
“There have been times [with previous partners] where it’s been like, ‘Oh, you’re going to work again?’ Or, ‘Oh, are you going to be shooting in a bikini again?’
“When you’re a career-driven person, it works best when your partner is equally as excited for you and supportive. And that’s what Jason is. He’s my biggest cheerleader and I’m his.”
But one of the reasons why Rosie founded her online beauty forum, Rose Inc., was so she could spend more time with her family and not be “on a plane every second week”, and both she and Jason always discuss how their work will impact on their home life.
She said: “I needed to be with my family. And it’s the same with Jason; there’s a lot more communication about where we’re going to be and how we’re going to make things work. Both of us can’t just take off like we have in the past.”
The ‘Transformers’ star insists she and the ‘Crank’ actor lead a very “normal” life together and don’t worry about being in the spotlight.
She said:
“We just kind of get on with things. We’re pretty normal – we’re not leaving restaurants separately. People want to live on camera 24/7 but that’s not us.”

Ross Kemp couldn’t get a girlfriend until he had a car

OHMYGOSSIP — Ross Kemp couldn’t get a girlfriend because he didn’t have a car.
The TV star – who is set to appear on National Geographic restoration programme ‘Car S.O.S Special: 7 Day Challenge’ – has opened up about his love for motors and admitted he struggled to find love until he got a vehicle for his own.
He said: “I’ve always loved cars and now have a Ferrari and an Audi. Cars have played a very important role in my life, but when I was growing up in Essex and waiting to go to drama school, I had no money and no car.
“I couldn’t get a girlfriend because, no matter how good your recital of Hamlet was, if you didn’t have a car, no girl was going to look at you!”
For Ross, now 54, it all changed when he landed his first role in ‘Emmerdale’ in 1985 and bought himself a car of his own.
He added: “When I was 20. When I got a job on ‘Emmerdale’, I bought my first car, and when I got a job on ‘EastEnders’, I bought my first house. You can live in a car, but there is more room in a house and the sanitary conditions are better! That first car was a midnight blue Capri.”
Although it caused some problems – the insurance company wouldn’t insure actors – he noticed a definite improvement in his chances with the ladies.
He said: “I waited in the service station, and eventually my mum managed to get me insurance. I was three hours late getting to the Railway Hotel in Leeds. But as soon as I parked the car there, girls started saying hello to me. See, I was making up for all those years without a car!”
Meanwhile Ross – who later appeared on ‘EastEnders’ and became known as a journalist through his Bafta-winning ‘Ross Kemp on Gangs’ documentary series – is excited to appear on the special episode of ‘Car S.O.S’ as a big fan of the show.
He revealed: “I’m really excited about it. ‘Car S.O.S’ is a people show, and I like people. It’s not just about driving a flash car and having an opinion about it.
“Most people don’t have the opportunity to drive the flash cars you see on some car shows. But ‘Car S.O.S’ is about the cars real people drive.”
Car S.O.S Special: 7 Day Challenge, Thursday 14th February at 8pm & Thursday 21st February at 8pm on National Geographic.

Big Narstie vows to have vasectomy after birth of second child

OHMYGOSSIP — Big Narstie has vowed to get a vasectomy following the birth of his second child.
The 32-year-old grime MC already has a daughter with his partner and the couple are currently expecting another baby.
Narstie plans to “get the snip” and stop his sperm from swimming free after his tot is born because “two [kids] is enough”.
Opening up about his expanding family, he said: “Can’t wait. And that’s when I’m going to get the snip. That’s my lot. Two is enough.”
The musician – who is set to appear in the second series of ‘Gogglebox: Celebrity Special for Stand Up To Cancer’ – is heading back to Channel 4 for a new series of his late-night entertainment series, ‘The Big Narstie Show’, alongside Mo Gilligan, who is also known as Mo the Comedian.
Although the first run was well received, the ‘When The Bassline Dops’ hitmaker has admitted that he found it hard to adjust to Channel 4’s television rules when he first started shooting the programme.
Speaking to Radio Times magazine, Narstie added: “First and foremost I’m a musician. So I’ve always been in front of a camera, doing music videos and performing. But TV is a whole different angle. It’s so much red tape, and its got it’s own order to it.
“My first problem about doing ‘The Big Narstie Show’ was just adjusting to TV rules. At first, it started to p**s me off, but after I got the adjustments and the rules, I started to enjoy it. I’m fortunate, though. Channel 4 know I’m messed up. But they’ve got a soft spot for me.”

Pearl Jam announced as Record Store Day 2019 ambassadors

OHMYGOSSIP — Pearl Jam have been announced as the Record Store Day 2019 ambassadors.
The ‘Even Flow’ musicians – who comprise of Eddie Vedder, Mike McCready, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament and Matt Cameron – are “honoured” to have been chosen to be the ambassadors for the annual event, which takes place on April 13 2019, and follow in the footsteps of last year’s representatives, hip hop duo Run the Jewels.
In a statement, McCready: “Independent record stores are hugely important to me, and have been ever since I was 12 years old. Before I even really knew what they were – there was a certain feeling of ‘this is a dream come true’, and it’s a wonderland and there’s so much to learn in here … and it’s still that way.
“Support every independent record store that you can. They’re really a good part of society. Know if you love music, this is the place to find it. And it helps people who work here and that’s important, too.
“And it kind of takes an effort, you have to look for something that you want; you have to talk to people. I had to talk to people to figure out which Aerosmith record to get first or anything back in the day,” he continued. “It’s a place to learn. It’s a place to have fun. And it’s a place to discover new music. Come out on Record Store Day, but also make it Record Store Year.”
Record Store Day is an annual event in which over 200 independent record shops all across the UK come together to celebrate their unique culture.

Mahershala Ali’s instinctive acting

OHMYGOSSIP — Mahershala Ali listens to his “instincts” when acting.
The ‘Green Book’ star feels it is important to use his intuition when he is working on his craft and tries not to have any preconceived ideas of his roles beforehand.
He told the New York Post’s Page Six column: “I let my instincts take me where they take me. If he’s a bad guy, it’s got to be because people think he’s a bad guy. I can never go into it thinking of these characters as a bad guy.”
Meanwhile, Mahershala had previously revealed he chooses roles which “align” with his “consciousness” and says the parts he take on are a “natural outgrowth” of life.
He explained: “I think my choices are just a natural outgrowth of how I try to live my life. I try to be conscious of my diet holistically, whether it’s the actual food you put in the body or what it is that you’re watching. So when I read projects of when I find myself drawn to something it’s really pretty much in alignment with a larger consciousness that I try to live with.”
The 44-year-old actor finds it “humbling” being nominated for awards and says there is a special feeling being in the “circle of recognition” during awards season.
Speaking before he picked up his Best Supporting Actor gong at the EE British Academy Film Awards recently, he explained: “Most importantly, you put all this love and energy and time into these projects and you just hope that it resonates and speaks to people. To end up here, at this event and to sort of be in the circle of recognition is just a real honour. It’s humbling.”

George Ezra in Forbes’ 30 Under 30

OHMYGOSSIP — George Ezra and Jess Glynne have been named in Forbes’ 30 Under 30.
The ‘Shotgun’ hitmaker and the ‘Thursday’ singer have been honoured in the annual list, which recognises 30 people under the age of 30 doing great things.
‘Killing Eve’ actress Jodie Comer also receives a mention as well as ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ star Tom Holland. Lily James – who has hit roles in ‘Cinderella’ and most recently ‘Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again’ – makes the cut alongside British singers Ella Mai and Jorja Smith. Norwegian musician Sigrid and ‘Harry Potter’ star Daniel Radcliffe complete the 30.
Alex Wood, Europe Editor at Forbes, said: “Four years on from its launch, the 30 Under 30 Europe list continues to be not only the defining measure of success for the region’s next generation of leaders, but also a source of empowerment for all honorees. We’ve searched throughout Europe to identify 300 of the most revolutionary entrepreneurs, innovators and disruptors in ten diverse sectors, who are changing the game throughout the region and across the globe.”
Jess Glynne also has another string to her bow as she holds the record for the most UK number ones ever held by a British female solo artist and she admits that fact “blows her mind” everyday.
She said: “It blows my mind. I don’t think it’s kind of become real in my mind yet. When people say the stats, it feels like they’re talking about another person. It’s really weird. I don’t think it’s sunk in that it’s me.”

Blac Chyna never asked for child support

OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna says she never asked her children’s fathers to pay child support.
The ‘Rob and Chyna’ star has fumed in a foul-mouthed rant about Rob Kardashian – the father of her daughter Dream, two – and Tyga – the father of King Cairo, six – as well as her own mother Tokyo Toni.
Speaking to her fans in an Instagram Live, she ranted: “F**k Toni, f**k Tyga, f**k Rob, f**k everybody else. I never asked Tyga for child support, Rob for child support, whatever, and then we just went to court. I try to squash s**t, which I did, but none of that comes out. It’s only negative s**t with Chyna … I never wanted no money from Rob because it was never about that. Period.”
And the 30-year-old television personality and model insists she is not trying to spin some sort of “sob story” and says it is actually a “winning story”.
She added: “This is not a sob story, this is a f***ing winning story. I came from the strip club, my momma was a stripper, my daddy, I didn’t know him. I have two kids by two guys that f***ing tricked me or whatever and don’t give me s**t. No child support, and I’m sick of that s**t. Cut that child support s**t out. Just cut it out. Period.”
Chyna had previously insisted that it is herself who provides her children with their “luxury lifestyle”.
Taking to her Instagram story, she wrote: “So my children aren’t supposed to live the same lifestyle as their fathers ETC ETC ha? As a single mother, I provide for them and give them the luxury lifestyle they deserve … WOW!!! (sic)”

Daniel Radcliffe isn’t comfortable with social media

OHMYGOSSIP — Daniel Radcliffe has “never quite been comfortable” with social media.
The ‘Harry Potter’ star doesn’t feel he has the “mental fortitude” for sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and thinks he would get into fights all the time if he did have a profile on the social media sites.
Speaking on Busy Tonight, he said: “I don’t not like it, but I’d be c**p on it. I would get into fights. I don’t have the mental fortitude for the internet. I worry that like I wouldn’t, I wouldn’t be rigorous enough to like actually do it myself, then it would become somebody else’s responsibility, and then any kind of actual authenticity would seem lost for that. I’ve never quite been comfortable with it.”
Daniel previously had confessed he feels “more settled mentally” now.
He explained: “I feel a lot more settled mentally, and am more comfortable with what makes me happy. More comfortable with the fact that I am a person that loves just hanging out with my friends. Or watching quiz shows. I am comfortable with the things about myself that I used to think, man, am I really boring? Should I be going out and getting wasted all the time?”
And the 29-year-old actor admits people expect him “to be an absolute a**hole.”
He said: “When I did my first non-Potter film, ‘December Boys’ [in 2007], I became good friends with one of the make-up and hair teams. After a few weeks, I said, ‘So, honestly, what did you expect when you were going to get me?’ And they said, ‘We thought you were going to be a d**k.’ Because that’s the notion people have in their heads of child stars. People expect me to be an absolute a**hole. And when I’m not, that always plays in my favour.”

Bella Thorne opening LA home to visitors

OHMYGOSSIP — Bella Thorne is opening her Los Angeles home to fans.
The ‘Famous in Love’ star is reportedly planning to offer guided tours around her home, the famous Trippy Twins Fun House, with it expected to cost $50 a ticket.
The house is also available to be rented for parties, for movies and also for photoshoots, with prices starting at $150 per hour, the New York Post’s Page Six column reports.
Bella paid for her house from money she earned on social media.
She said: “For [an Instagram] grid posting, it’s 65 grand a post. For story posting, it’s anywhere from 10 to 20K, and for Snapchat, it’s the same as Insta story. Instagram is 100 percent a job to me. I started out at 18 with literally $200 in my bank account and I bought this house a year later, a year and a half. That’s all from social media.”
Bella insists her passion for posting on her social media accounts was something she was “raised” with, but understands that not everything she sees on the apps she uses is “real”.
She added: “I was raised to think that social media is everything. When I was younger my mum would surround me with social media, and it was always like ‘Let’s bake cupcakes so we can take a photo of it.’ You know? Like, what about baking cupcakes? And not taking a photo of it? Which I think is where people really get lost in the world of social media, is what’s real and what’s fake.”

21 Savage released on bond after detention

OHMYGOSSIP — 21 Savage has been released on a bond after being arrested by immigration officials.
The ‘No Heart’ hitmaker was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Georgia nine days ago after they alleged that the rapper is a British citizen and has overstayed his United States visa for over a decade.
However, he has now been released for the time being and has reached out to his fans and supporters on social media via his lawyers.
His lawyers Charles H. Kuck, Dina LaPolt and Alex Spiro said in a statement: “21 Savage asked us to send a special message to his fans and supporters – he says that while he wasn’t present at the Grammy Awards, he was there in spirit and is grateful for the support from around the world and is more than ever, ready to be with his loved ones and continue making music that brings people together. He will not forget this ordeal or any of the other fathers, sons, family members, and faceless people, he was locked up with or that remain unjustly incarcerated across the country. And he asks for your hearts and minds to be with them.”
At the time of his detainment, ICE spokesman Bryan Cox said: “U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested unlawfully present United Kingdom national Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph AKA ’21 Savage’ during a targeted operation with federal and local law enforcement partners early Sunday in metro Atlanta …
“Mr. Abraham-Joseph is presently in ICE custody in Georgia and has been placed into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts. ICE will now await the outcome of his case before a federal immigration judge to determine future actions.”

Professor Green fractures neck

OHMYGOSSIP — Professor Green has fractured his neck.
The ‘I Need You Tonight’ hitmaker has been forced to cancel his tour after he was hospitalised when he injured his neck during a seizure on Tuesday morning (12.02.19).
He wrote on Instagram: “I had seizure this morning which resulted in a fall while I was packing for tour. Depending on how you look at this fall I was extremely lucky. I fractured vertebrae in my neck and subsequently had to cancel my tour that was due to start today. I’ll be back in the winter with a bigger tour. I’ve had two further seizures and am lucky I didn’t break my neck. Really fucking lucky. Thanks for baring with me. most importantly thank you to our NHS, heroes amongst men (and women). (sic)”
And with no obvious cause for the seizure, Professor Green thinks it is down to him overworking himself and so he will be taking some time to practice the “self care” he preaches.
He added: “Just after I sent this pic I sent to someone to say how ready for tour I was, I had the first seizure I’ve ever had which led to me falling without hands to soften the fall and fractured my neck in doing so. After I got to the hospital I had a second seizure with again no obvious cause. There’s one theory – I’ve run myself into the ground doing way too much, over stretching myself as per usual and it’s finally caught up on me. Seems quite likely.
“I’m gonna use this time to implement all the self care I encourage others to put into practice – and it’s going to stay in practice as there’s nothing like nearly breaking your neck to put things into perspective. Rest, studio, books, and efforts into building what might even be a relationship … A healthy one. Not one based on toxicity. Crazy, I know. Really though, feeling very lucky not least of all to count @eddiejenkins_ and @ruari_sb as friends and house mates, I wouldn’t be here if ruari didn’t hear me hit the floor / wall. (sic)”

Jack Fincham goes bird-watching for new show

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Fincham is exploring his love of bird-watching on a new programme.
The ‘Love Island’ winner – who triumphed on the ITV show with his girlfriend Dani Dyer – has teamed up with Springwatch’s Chris Packham to do a spot of bird-watching for a new episode of BBC digital show ‘Nature Dates’.
Jack said: “I’ve loved nature ever since I was a little kid. Nature Dates is a dream come true – walking around amazing areas and seeing all sorts of animals. This time Chris takes me round a nature reserve and helps me spot some really beautiful birds right in the heart of London. I’m hoping people follow my example and go and ask someone on a nature date – could be with a friend or someone they fancy. There’s always something to talk about, and you can find romance in nature, you just have to get out there and look for it.”
Whilst Chris added: “Going birding with newbies is always great – especially when they are as keen as Jack. He wasn’t exactly a birding virgin though, he has quite a bit of knowledge but was desperate to see his first kingfisher. Luckily I delivered and he was delighted! Actually that’s an understatement – he was delirious! A man who knows that the world’s best birds are fully feathered!”
In the episode – which will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer, YouTube and social media from Wednesday February 13 – Jack and his childhood hero Chris explore London’s Walthamstow Wetlands on the look out for cormorants, coots, and an elusive kingfisher.

Sam Smith starved himself for weeks

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Smith used to “starve himself for weeks” before photoshoots.
The ‘Like I Can’ hitmaker was so uncomfortable with his body image that he wouldn’t eat and hated every single picture he had taken of himself, picking out his flaws.
He wrote on Instagram: “In the past if I have ever done a photo shoot with so much as a t-shirt on, I have starved myself for weeks in advance and then picked and prodded at every picture and then normally taken the picture down. Yesterday I decided to fight the f**k back. Reclaim my body and stop trying to change this chest and these hips and these curves that my mum and dad made and love so unconditionally.
“Some may take this as narcissistic and showing off but if you knew how much courage it took to do this and the body trauma I have experienced as a kid you wouldn’t think those things. Thank you for helping me celebrate my body AS IT IS @ryanpfluger I have never felt safer than I did with you. I’ll always be at war with this bloody mirror but this shoot and this day was a step in the right f***ing direction (sic)”
Sam had previously admitted that he got “a bit obsessive” with his weight.
He explained: “When I was shooting my first music videos, I just wasn’t happy with the way I looked, so I was trying to control the way the camera moved. I got a bit obsessive. I was constantly looking in the mirror, pinching my waist, weighing myself every day. Now, I’ve gotten to a place where I really love my stretch marks and I just enjoy my body. My job is very self-indulgent: I have to listen to my voice daily, I make decisions on what tour posters or album covers look like, I look at my face while sitting in the makeup chair. I get kind of sick of myself, so I trust my team. But my body image is always going to be an issue. I need to constantly train myself to watch the right sort of films, to not look at certain ads and think that’s how my stomach should look. It’s something that I’m getting every day. I think men should talk about it more.”

Ozzy Osbourne out of intensive care

OHMYGOSSIP — Ozzy Osbourne is out of intensive care following his hospitalisation.
The Black Sabbath rocker was admitted to hospital last week amid “complications” with the flu but now his wife Sharon has revealed he is doing “great”.
Speaking on The Talk, she said: “He’s doing great. He’s out of ICU and he’s doing great. He’s breathing on his own. I just want to say a huge thank you to everybody that has reached out with good wishes. He is overcome by the response that he’s had, and it’s kind of bittersweet because he’s overwhelmed with it, but he’s sad too.”
Sharon confirmed Ozzy had been hospitalised on February 6.
She wrote at the time: “As some of you may have heard, Ozzy was admitted to hospital following some complications from the flu. His doctors feel this is the best way to get him on a quicker road to recovery. Thanks to everyone for their concern and love.”
Ozzy’s doctors were reportedly “gravely concerned” about his condition.
A source said: “Poor old Ozzy hasn’t had the best of times. He’s been really struggling with flu which turned into bronchitis. Doctors feared he could contract pneumonia which, in a person over 70, can be fatal. This sparked a lot of panic among those closest to him, but doctors reassured everyone he was in the best possible hands. Ozzy’s a fighter, and is getting better day by day . The worst is over, he’s smiling again, and he can’t wait to get up on stage.”
Due to his illness, Ozzy had to postpone the UK and European leg of his ‘No More Tours 2’ concert series and he admitted he was “devastated” by the decision.
He shared at the time: “I’m completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour. It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to s**t. First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis. I want to apologise to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years.”
