OHMYGOSSIP — John Barrowman was once given a sex toy by a person dressed as a Klingon at a science-fiction convention.
The 51-year-old actor has a huge fan base due to his role as Captain Jack Harkness on ‘Doctor Who’ and spin-off show ‘Torchwood’ and he is used to being presented with presents when he meets people at events.
However, John – who has been married to Scott Gill since 2013 – was taken aback when he was approached by the ‘Star Trek’ alien at one convention who proceeded to gift him the marital aid, much to his surprise.
When asked by the Sunday Mirror’s Notebook magazine what is the “weirdest present” he has received, he replied: “I like to use the word ‘imaginative’. Are you ready? I was at a ‘Doctor Who’ convention and a Klingon came up to me and gave me a box with a picture on it, and instead of the Captain Jack bomb I was riding, there was a vibrator shaped like an appendage. I was very taken aback and said, “Thank you very much,’ and I took it home and said to Scott, ‘Do you want to see what I got? A Klingon gave us a dildo.’ And he was like, ‘Throw that away, it’s filthy!’
“It’s always the ‘Doctor Who’ fans. Musical theatre people don’t give you marital aids. You do have people watching three or four nights in a row, who are there weekly though.”
John is very grateful for the support of his fans over the years and admits they don’t stand for trolls attacking him on social media and are very quick to leap to his defence.
He said: “Don’t mess with them (his fans). I have to stop my diehards from ripping trolls to pieces. I say, ‘You’ve got to pull back and chillax.’ We throw trolls out. I have somebody who watches it all. I don’t have to defend me, and if you don’t like me, why are you on my social media? And if you’ve got an account where people can’t comment back, you’re a f***ing chicken.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Spencer Matthews apologised to ‘Good Morning Britain’ viewers for his “wooden performance”.
The former ‘Made In Chelsea’ star joined the ITV breakfast show’s showbiz team this week as a temporary replacement for current Entertainment Editor Richard Arnold, but his first appearance as a showbiz reporter didn’t impress a lot of people watching.
Responding to the critics, he later posted on Instagram: “Such a huge amount of respect for people who regularly present live television – it’s a skill and it’s not easy.
“Had my first go this morning on @gmb and it’s safe to say that it didn’t go so well… Apologies for my lack of experience and wooden performance. I’ll loosen up and get better with time, hopefully!”
Spencer joined Richard Madeley and Kate Garraway – who are hosting together while Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid are on holiday – on the show, with viewers taking to social media to voice their thoughts.
One said: “#GMB Spencer Matthews car crash tv with that autocue, he couldn’t sit still”
The reality star will be disappointed after previously revealing how big a fan of the show he is, and how excited he was to take on the new challenge.
He said: “I’m so excited to join the GMB team this Monday and bring all the latest entertainment gossip, although not talking about myself might feel odd!
“I’m an avid viewer of the programme as I am up early with my newborn and nothing prepares you for the day quite like watching Piers Morgan’s brilliant rants – of which both my son Theodore and I are fans. See you on Monday!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen and John Legend had an “actual fight” over pizza rolls.
The 33-year-old model was left disappointed when she trusted her 40-year-old husband to order her favourite childhood pizza because a miscommunication with the ‘Ordinary People’ hitmaker meant the singer ordered completely the wrong thing.
Tweeting to her 10.8 million followers, she said: “I am having a Totino’s craving. I don’t want a great pizza. I want a pizza from my childhood, with sliced fresh tomatoes on top.
“He said ‘how many boxes do you want’ and I said first of all loser it’s in a bag now. So we Postmate some.(sic)”
The ‘Lip Sync Battle’ host went on to explain how she and John got into a heated debate about the best way to “ensure crispness” while they waited for their order, with Chrissy believing the pizza should go on the rack and the ‘All of Me’ singer insisting it should be cooked in a pan.
She continued: “Pizza still 20 minutes out, he goes ‘do you want the tomato on top of it’ and I was like no idiot under it, yes it goes on top.
“We talk about my childhood a bit. How this pizza shaped my life no big deal. We get the notification. John yells ‘it is herrrre!!’ Like Oprah. (sic)”
However it turned out John had misunderstood her and ordered pizza rolls instead of pizza, and Chrissy wasn’t happy about it revealing: “this is an actual fight now”.
She added: “It’s pizza rolls. He has no idea Totino’s makes pizza. But more importantly, he thinks I am so stupid I would think tiny pizza rolls go directly onto the rack and that I would want tiny slices of fresh tomato on a god damn singular pizza roll”
The brunette beauty then shared a video of herself trying to prove her point by throwing the pizza rolls through the gaps in the oven rack.
However, the couple – who have children Luna, two, and Miles, eight months – resolved their conflict and Chrissy ended the saga by posting a selfie, taking a bite out of a pizza topped with a slice of tomato.

OHMYGOSSIP — Whoopi Goldberg insists being black meant she was never seen as “sexy”.
The ‘Fatal Beauty’ actress opened up about her role in the 1987 blockbuster – in which she starred as detective Rita Rizzoli – and while she acknowledged having a “hot bod” early his her film career, she claimed other people working on the comedy thriller didn’t see it because of her skin colour.
Speaking to author Ottessa Moshfegh for Garage Magazine, Whoopi said: “Thank you, I did [have a great body]. I know… Nobody who worked on that movie saw me as sexy. They didn’t even think of me as a woman. Because I’m black.”
Although the 63-year-old star is obsessed with fashion, she revealed she prefers to feel “comfortable”, and joked she sparked a trend with her own style choices.
She added: “You know, I love high heels, but I always wore them with socks. And fashion is finally catching up to me. When you go to the shows, now you see girls on the runway wearing socks with heels.”
Whoopi’s comments come after she spoke out to defend her friend Liam Neeson after he came under fire for candidly confessing to trying to provoke a fight with a black person after a female friend was raped.
She insisted he insisted racist, and while she has “been around a lot of real bigots”, she doesn’t count the ‘Taken’ star as one.
She recently said: “People walk around sometimes with rage, that’s what happens. Is he a bigot? No.
“I’ve known him a pretty long time, I think I would have recognised, I’ve been around a lot of real bigots. I can say this man is not one.
“You can’t be surprised that somebody whose loved one is attacked is angry and wants to go out and attack. What he did go on to say … is that he realised that it was too dark for him, he went and got himself help.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Denise Welch once got caught with a sex toy in her hand luggage.
The 60-year-old actress revealed the embarrassing moment she forgot to take the intimate item out of her bag and leave it in her suitcase as she jetted out for a break during a very busy time for airports.
Appearing on ‘Loose Women’ and opening up about her most awkward moments, she laughed: “I once left a vibrator in my hand luggage when I was going on holiday.
“It was half term, it was a shoulder massager.”
At the end of the episode on Monday (18.02.19), host Andrea McLean apologised for the racy airport story, and jokingly suggested that Denise hadn’t meant to name a raunchy item on air.
She quipped: “We do have to also say, a quick apology for what Denise said. She meant electric tooth brush.”
Denise – who left the other panellists in hysterics with her x-rated confession – also recalled another more innocent exchange she had with former Labour party leader Ed Miliband.

“So I was going to him, ‘Don’t look at me!’ (I told my friend) ‘He’s looking really weird at me’ and she replied, ‘That’s because it’s Ed Miliband’. I just knew he was really familiar and he was looking at me.”
Andrea also shared her own experiences of having excessive Botox injections in the past, and admitted she didn’t like the results.
She added: “At the moment I’ve had a little bit here. But I get the angry frown and that’s it. I’m really open about it because it is obvious, but I don’t care because I don’t like it.”

The 44-year-old fashion mogul marked both her London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2019 collection and the launch of her highly-anticipated YouTube Fashion & Beauty channel on Sunday night (18.02.19) by enlisting the help of a tribute act at Mark’s Club in London.
The exclusive bash was thrown by Derek Blasberg and husband David Beckham, 43, followed Victoria’s much-anticipated catwalk show at Tate Britain where her runway designs showed their “naughty side”.
Speaking at London Fashion Week, Victoria said: “She’s a lady, but she’s not particularly ladylike. Or maybe she’s ladylike but not really a lady – whichever way you want to look at it, she’s got a bit of a naughty side.”
Victoria’s show was attended by her and David’s four children Brooklyn, 19, with his 21-year-old model girlfriend Hana Cross, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, and Harper, seven, on the front row alongside US Vogue’s Anna Wintour.
Alexa Chung, Luke Evans, DJ Jodie Harsh, Olivia Palermo and Laura Bailey, Joel Edgerton and Chris Rock were also watching the star’s iconic designs on the front row.
Last week, Victoria confirmed that she would be the latest designer to ban exotic animal skins from her collections, and although the former Spice Girl has never used fur in her eponymous label’s designs she will now cut all exotic pelts in order to “reflect the wishes” of her brand and customers.
A spokesperson for Victoria Beckham previously said: “As a business, we have been looking to action the use of more ethically sourced products that have less environmental impact for some time.
“We are happy to confirm that we will cease using exotic skins in all future collections as of our main fall 2019 ready-to-wear presentation. This decision reflects the wishes of not only the brand, but also that of our customers.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Denzel Washington credits his hairstylist Larry Cherry for “never taking credit” for his signature look at the Hollywood Beauty Awards.
The 64-year-old actor paid tribute to his longtime hairstylist, who he first worked with on the 1992 biopic ‘Malcolm X’, for his “professional” skills at the annual Hollywood Beauty Awards on Sunday night (18.02.19).
Speaking on stage, the actor described Cherry as a “consummate professional” who “never takes credit”.
The A-List hairstylist has worked with filmmaker Spike Lee since his 1986 flick ‘She’s Gotta Have It’, and after Washington appeared in Lee’s Malcolm X biopic, he and Cherry became friends and have since worked together on a number of big projects.
Cherry has collaborated with Washington throughout his prestigious film career, creating looks for the films ‘Courage Under Fire’, ‘The Siege’, ‘Training Day’, ‘John Q’, ‘Man On Fire’ and ‘Equalizer 2’ to name a few.
John David Washington – whose actual dad is Hollywood icon Denzel Washington – has previously admitted that he feels like one of Spike Lee’s children.
The 34-year-old actor has heaped praise on the acclaimed director after working with Spike on his new biographical drama ‘BlacKkKlansman’.
Asked what Spike has meant to him through his own life, John explained: “He’s given men and women of colour a platform.
“We’re not just in this industry. Both in front and behind the cameras. So many people – DPs, writers, and the assistants that go on to be directors and writers – come from the School of Spike Lee. He’s almost set up an Institution of Spike Lee. We’re all like his children. He’s just so encouraging about that and he’s so supportive.
“So, I just feel like I’m a part of this huge family, and a part of history. I’m connected to a Wesley Snipes and I’m connected to Giancarlo Esposito because of the history of films that we’ve all been a part of with Spike Lee.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Marie used make-up as a “mask” when she was growing up.
The 27-year-old singer revealed that she was so desperate to fit in with her peers that she would have such a heavy look “you couldn’t tell what [her] real face looked like” and insisted that her make-up “took away [her] personality”.
In an interview with Glamour, she said: “I wanted to fit in at school so much that I just did what everyone else did. Make-up was my mask: sometimes I’d slap so much on that you couldn’t tell what my real face looked like. Doing this totally took away my personality and I withdrew into myself.”
The ‘Ciao Adios’ hitmaker confessed that it wasn’t until she went on tour with Rudimental that she wanted to “break down [her] self-conscious barriers”.
She said: “Four years ago, I went on tour with drum-and-bass band Rudimental, who were the first people to see potential in me.
“They taught me so much and I started to regain my confidence. Then one day, on our bus, I looked over at Bridgette [Amofah, from Rudimental].
“She seemed completely happy and comfortable to be on her own, and in her own world. I remember thinking, ‘Wow, there’s no barrier there. She doesn’t care what people think.’ It made me want to break down my self-conscious barriers, too.”
The ‘2002’ singer has admitted that as well as getting therapy to overcome her issues with self-confidence, she looked to women around her, who are totally comfortable with themselves, to inspire her.
She explained: “As well as getting therapy, I looked at other women who were close to me – such as Jaz [Jazmin Sherman], my manager, and Jenn [Jennifer Decilveo], who I wrote my first album with.
“They embrace who they are, which has inspired confidence in me. It’s been a journey – and one that I’m still on – my brain is overactive and I go through weird phases with myself.”

Speaking on TV show ‘Loose Women’ on Monday (18.02.19), she said: “I wouldn’t have [snogged anyone] anyway. I’ve got three girls in high school. They’ve had more stepdads than hot dinners my lot!

“I’ve had so many issues, mental health problems, addictions that I had to work on myself.”
Kerry recently claimed Brian was her “favourite” ex-husband and she clarified her comments on the show, insisting it wasn’t difficult to put him in the top spot.
She quipped: “Well let’s be honest, have you seen the other two?
“It’s not really a hard choice….
“I know he was on here the other week saying that the marriage was just a party, a very expensive one, but for me, looking at all three husbands Brian was my first love.”
The 38-year-old star previously admitted she was “crushed” when her union with the Westlife singer ended and her biggest mistake was to wed her “drug dealer”.
She said: “My downfall was my second marriage – I’m not saying it was Mark’s fault, I have to take responsibility.
“But when me and Brian broke up, it crushed me. I got into drugs, married my drug dealer and that’s how I coped.
“But I’m the strongest now I’ve ever been and the most confident.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner have applied to trademark the names of their children.
The 38-year-old beauty and her husband Kanye West’s brood, North, five, Saint, three, and Chicago, 13 months could join their cousins True Thompson – the nine-month-old daughter of the ‘Revenge Body’ host and basketball player Tristan Thompson – and Stormi Webster, the lip-kit guru and boyfriend Travis Scott’s 12-month-old child in releasing their own product lines, despite their tender years.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the famous parents want to use their children’s names on products including clothing, skin care and toys, and also be able to sign endorsement deals to promote other people’s ventures, though specific details are not given.
Kylie has also filed for a trademark for Stormiworld, the name given to the birthday party she recently threw for Stormi, which paid homage to Travis’ album ‘Astroworld’.
The trademark applications come a few months after Kylie fuelled speculation she was launching a skincare line when she applied to register ‘Kylie Skin’ and ‘Kylie Skin by Kylie Jenner’ – which is for goods that could include serums, scrubs, moisturisers, cleansers, toners, masks and oils – and another ‘Kylie Skin’ for retail store services “featuring skin care products, skin care preparation products, cosmetics, cosmetic preparations and gifts.”
The filings at the United States Patent and Trademark Office are currently awaiting examination but could take from three months up to a year for processing – or she may decide not to pursue the filings.
But the 21-year-old star’s father, Caitlyn Jenner recently had a number of her own applications rejected.
The ‘I Am Cait’ star had applied to register ‘Jenner Skincare’ and ‘Skincare By Jenner’, but has received a letter from the US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), which stated they were too similar to monikers already registered by her ex-wife Kris Jenner and their children Kylie and Kendall.
The USPTO office made it clear that ‘Jenner Skincare’ could confuse customers into believing the rest of the family were associated with the products, especially because so many of Kris and her daughters’ registered trademarks are connected with beauty and skincare, citing ‘Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner’ as one example.
And the trademark attorney told Caitlyn that her proposed name was too similar to that of her ex-wife’s.
However, officials gave the 69-year-old former Olympian the greenlight to use ‘Caitlyn Jenner Skincare’ and ‘Skincare By Caitlyn Jenner’ because there was no scope for confusion.

OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna’s romance with Soulja Boy reportedly began as a joke to annoy her ex-partner Tyga.
The 30-year-old model is believed to have struck up a relationship with rapper Soulja Boy following her split from Kid Buu after their heated argument during a trip to Hawaii last month.
However, it has now been claimed her romance with Soulja wasn’t supposed to be serious as they originally just wanted to troll Chyna’s former beau Tyga – with whom she has six-year-old son King Cairo – but after spending time together, they developed a genuine connection and are now dating for real.
According to TMZ, the couple met on social media earlier this month and “concocted a plan” to get under Tyga’s skin by pretending they were dating.
But after going on a few fake dates to make their romance seem real, they formed a bond and decided to stop pretending and start a real relationship.
A source told the publication Chyna – who also has two-year-old daughter Dream with ex Rob Kardashian – and Soulja Boy “appreciate and respect that the other one has their own career rolling right now, and they feel like they can take things slow.”
Soulja Boy is said to have agreed to troll Tyga following their spat last month over who had the bigger comeback in 2018.
The new romance comes after police were called to Chyna’s Hawaii hotel room last month, following claims of a “disturbance” between her and her then-boyfriend Kid Buu.
Sources said at the time that Chyna scratched Kid Buu, and he is alleged to have then slammed her against a wall several times and choked her, prompting someone to call for emergency services.
The Honolulu Police Department confirmed in a statement: “Shortly before 9 am today, a female visitor staying in Waikiki reported being assaulted by a male acquaintance. The victim reported that she and the suspect had been involved in an argument several hours earlier, and the argument had escalated to a physical confrontation. The male left the area after the confrontation and has not been located. This incident has been classified as abuse of a household member. The investigation is continuing, and no further information is being released at this time.”

The 24-year-old model is currently expecting her second child with her boyfriend Robin Thicke, and as the pair are already parents to 11-month-old daughter Mia Love, April has joked that she can’t remember what life is like without carrying a baby.
Posting a picture of her burgeoning baby bump, the brunette beauty wrote on Instagram: “I don’t even remember what life is like not being pregnant lmao (sic)”
The couple’s impending second arrival is actually the third time April has been pregnant, after she tragically suffered a miscarriage before the birth of their first daughter Mia.
When asked during an Instagram Story Q&A last year if she was “scared” by the possibility of miscarrying, she said: “I had one before Mia. But I’m not scared, worrying or stressing out too much isn’t good for the baby. Life happens and we can’t control everything.”
April and the ‘Blurred Lines’ hitmaker – who is also father to eight-year-old Julian, whom he has with ex-wife Paula Patton – revealed they are to become parents again over the summer last year, by sharing a video of young Mia holding a sonogram.
The picture was accompanied by the caption: “Well someone is going to be a big sister next year! We’re so excited to share with y’all that I’m expecting again! (sic)”
But it wasn’t long before April was facing criticism online from trolls who blasted her and Robin, 41, for not getting married before starting a family together.
Hitting back at the haters on her Instagram story, April wrote: “Why are women so obsessed with telling me I need a ring? Getting married is the easy part, seeing how you are together AFTER having babies is the hard part.
“We’re in 2018. Not in the 1950’s. Women don’t NEED to get married before having babies. Ya’ll need to chill (sic).”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West almost missed Kanye West’s impressive Valentine’s Day (14.02.19) surprise because she was running late to volunteer at their daughter’s school.
The 38-year-old reality star was left stunned when her husband surprised her with a Kenny G performance on the romantic holiday last week, but has said she very nearly ruined the plans after she got held up when she was supposed to be the “class mom” at their five-year-old daughter North’s school.
Kim – who also has son Saint, three, daughter Chicago, 13 months, and is currently expecting another tot via surrogate – said: “I was running out the door to go be the class mom for my daughter’s Valentine’s Day.”
But luckily, 41-year-old Kanye was ready and waiting to intercept his wife, taking her into the living room where the legendary saxophonist was waiting amongst a sea of roses.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star added to ‘Extra’: “I run outside and Kanye’s there … And he’s like, ‘Wait, Babe, come over…’ So he brings me in the living room. And I just see all these roses and Kenny G in my living room and it was so cool and so special.”
Meanwhile, 62-year-old Kenny recently spoke about the romantic surprise, as he admitted she couldn’t stop smiling after seeing him in her living room.
He said: “Kanye had requested me to come to the house and serenade Kim in the morning. ‘It’s going to be a room surrounded with roses, and you’re going to stand in the middle of the roses and play.’ I thought, ‘That actually sounds really beautiful.’ It just all worked out …
“I started playing before I saw her. She was coming around a corner, and I got the nod from Kanye to go. And so I started to play, and when she came, she just went, ‘Oh my God,’ and then she looked at me and was smiling and just kind of stopped. She didn’t know what to do with herself for a minute. Then she got her phone out, which was awesome.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande is “very proud” of her older brother Frankie Grande, as he celebrates 20 months sober.
The 25-year-old singer took to social media to heap praise on her older sibling, 36, as he marked over a year and a half of sobriety, telling him she’s beyond happy for his impressive milestone.
She wrote: “Man, I love u @FrankieJGrande. happy. twenty. months. been staring at this draft n deleting bc everything i write makes me cry. just know i think you’re a superhero and u make me v. proud. everyone knows how hard this is and how strong you’ve been. congratulations and thank god. (sic)”
Frankie also shared his own post to mark the special occasion, where he highlighted the highs and lows he has been through in the past 20 months, including the tragic passing of Ariana’s former boyfriend Mac Miller.
He tweeted: “Over the past 20 months i have felt loss but i have also felt love. i felt joy but i also felt grief. but the bottom line is … i felt. and that is such a gift. (sic)”
His comments come after he previously credited Mac – who passed away in September following an accidental overdose – with helping him gather the strength to head to rehab in the first place.
Frankie said at the time of Mac’s death: “He was the reason I went to the rehabilitation centre where I was detoxed safely from all of the drugs alcohol and medications I was taking, when I couldn’t imagine living without them.”
Meanwhile, the dancer recently split from married couple Mike Pophis and Daniel Sinasohn, whom he had been dating for four months.
He said: “I am single. I’ve been single for about a month now. It’s really good.
“I’m super grateful for my last relationship. I grew so much in it, and at the same time, it wasn’t working out anymore. I’m super glad that we decided to end things amicably. And that we can all remain friends … that’s the important thing.”
