OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Lucas gets mistaken for his ‘Bridesmaids’ co-star Rebel Wilson all the time.
The 45-year-old comedian and ‘Isn’t It Romantic’ star played housemates in the 2011 comedy flick and they were also real-life lodgers in West Hollywood between 2012 and 2015.
The ‘Little Britain’ creator not only gets noticed for playing Nardole, a companion of the Twelfth Doctor played by Peter Capaldi in the British sci-fi series ‘Doctor Who’, but people also think he’s Rebel, romantically linked to her or a relative, which he admitted is “a bit weird”.
Appearing on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ on Friday (05.04.19), he said: “People recognise me there because of ‘Doctor Who’ but also for ‘Bridesmaids’, but they think I am Rebel Wilson!
“It’s a bit weird, but they do, or they think we are brother and sister, husband and wife, the same person, or all three!”
Matt is returning to the stage in ‘Les Misérables’, alongside Michael Ball, Alfie Boe and Carrie Hope Fletcher, for a limited run at the Gielgud Theatre on London’s West End, which is his “dream” gig.
He said: “It is my dream job. Usually I wouldn’t go back to something again, but I just love this show.
“It’s a nice show and a nice bunch of people so it’s nice to go back and rejoin the family.”
Rebel previously admitted that Matt annoyed her by singing musical numbers when she was trying to sleep in their apartment.
The 39-year-old actress said: “(His worse habit is) singing musicals while I’m asleep. I can hear him through the walls.”
When asked who is the funniest person she knows, Rebel praised her flatmate saying: “I’m going to say Matt, but that’s really hard. I’ve met some of the world’s top comedians. And Jennifer Lawrence. She’s hilarious in real life, funnier than me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paula Lane fears she may not make it to her ‘Kinky Boots’ show tonight (05.04.19) after being “poisoned” by “the smelliest fart”.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star was left disgusted when a fellow train passenger let out a gassy guff yesterday (04.04.19), and she joked the potent parp was so putrid she may not be able to appear on stage at the Liverpool Empire Theatre this evening.
She wrote on Twitter: “There are drunk men on my train and one of them has just done the smelliest fart. If I don’t make it into work tomorrow you know I’ve literally been poisoned (sic)”
Paula – who plays ditzy factory worker Lauren in the musical – was inundated with support following the unfortunate incident, with one fan even asking her to describe the flavour of the offending bottom burp.
They tweeted: “Did it smell of egg lol xx (sic)”
One wrote: “Gross!!! Think I would of moved carriages or physically been sick (sic)”
And one sympathetic supporter simply tweeted: “Hope you’re ok”
Paula’s stinky situation comes just over a year after ‘Emmerdale’ viewers were left disgusted when character Priya Sharma let one go in the middle of her yoga routine.
The pong occurred when Priya – played by Fiona Wade – was coming up from her downward dog and accidentally let one slip.
She then started laughing about her stinky derriere and wafted her wind away with her hand, before noticing Gerry Roberts (Shaun Thomas) had walked in.

OHMYGOSSIP — Keith Richards thinks being a guitarist is “a better job” than fronting a band.
The legendary Rolling Stones musician has opened up about his apprehensions about going solo when he released his debut solo album ‘Talk Is Cheap’ in 1988, and he admitted he always felt more comfortable as part of a band – alongside Sir Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood – rather than the main focus.
Speaking to Steven Van Zandt at the YouTube Space, he said: “I had one great band, one of the greatest bands in the damn world, you don’t screw this up! All of my energy and whatever I’ve got had always been into the Stones.
“I’ve never considered myself a frontman, because the job of the guitar player is actually a lot cooler than being the frontman. It’s a better job. I don’t have to be out there all the time, I can make my moves in and out, and do my stuff, whatever.”
Keith, 75, added that he wasn’t initially into the idea – although he wasn’t brought in “kicking and screaming” – and admitted he felt at the time that the Stones should have continued on tour after recording 1986’s ‘Dirty Work’.
He explained: “I thought that the Stones should have been back on the road, but at the same time i understood that everyone has to agree on these things – and there was disagreement.
“At the same time, in retrospect I realise that we’d already been doing this since 1962, and this is now 1985.
“Even though you’re in the best band in the world, you want to spread your wings. There was a certain antsy thing. I didn’t feel it as much as probably Mick obviously did.”
Keith is reissuing ‘Talk Is Cheap’ for the LP’s 30th anniversary, but the ‘Paint It Black’ hitmaker previously revealed he and the Stones are working hard on their 24th studio album.
He said: “We’re working on the album. We’ve got the first bits done and I’m looking forward to getting back in after this tour. Charlie Watts is playing his a**e off!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nile Rodgers has compared Dua Lipa to David Bowie and Madonna.
The legendary producer paired up with the ‘New Rules’ singer for a live session at London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios this week as they work on the instrumentation for the pop star’s upcoming second album, and he has revealed how their collaboration reminded him of some iconic artists he’s recorded with over the years.
Praising Dua on Twitter, he wrote: “I’m still flying high today after playing LIVE w you at @AbbeyRoad.
“It was like Bowie, Madonna & so many other’s whom only knew me but trusted that my band would stomp on their music. I’m so proud of everyone in those rooms. That feeling was unreal and you are the real deal. Love”
The 66-year-old guitarist’s high praise comes after the 23-year-old star revealed how emotional the session had been for her.
Dua – who has confirmed her next LP will be a departure from the electronic sound of her first record – tweeted: “I was in the studio last night with the legend @nilerodgers and I was on the brink of tears as I saw more life being brought into these records!
“Every day we’re getting a little bit closer … I am so excited for you to hear this.”
Meanwhile, she revealed last month that she plans to put all her energy into the upcoming album, and so there are no festival appearances set for the summer.
She explained: “I’m not doing any festivals [in 2019], this year is just wrapping up the album and then hopefully release something this year.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Kazinsky and Gillian Wright’s on-screen ‘EastEnders’ chemistry is “transfixing”.
That’s according to the BBC One soap’s new executive producer Jon Sen, who says fans will not be able to “take [their] eyes away” from the pair when they are reunited as mother and son, Jean and Sean Slater.
He said: “When you see the bond between Sean and Jean, but also the real chemistry, the on-screen chemistry between Gillian and Rob, you can’t take your eyes away from it. It’s transfixing.”
Sean is to return to Albert Square in the coming weeks, after nine years away from Walford, to see his mum, who is battling ovarian cancer.
And Jon admits that while the diagnosis has been terrible for Jean, it is also “one of the best things that’s ever happened to her” because she is reunited with her boy.
He said: “We wanted to show just how close that bond is between mother and son.
“And we’re telling the story that, yes, Jean’s cancer has been terrible for her but, in a way, has been one of the best things that’s ever happened to her because it’s shown her inner-courage and it’s brought back her son.”
Gillian believes the cancer storyline is a particularly important plot to cover because the soap has a “responsibility” to portray issues affecting real-life people.
Speaking in a joint interview in a video on EastEnders’ Twitter account, she added: “I think it’s important ‘EastEnders’ does a storyline about cancer because they have a responsibility to reflect life today.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bill Burr has joined Judd Apatow’s latest comedy about Pete Davidson’s life.
The 50-year-old comedian is set to star in an unknown role in the untitled semi-autobiographical film revolving around the ‘Saturday Night Live’ star, which is set for release on June 19, 2020.
The film’s script has been penned by Apatow, Davidson and Dave Sirus, and Apatow will produce the picture for his Apatow Productions alongside Barry Mendel.
Pete, 25, grew up in Staten Island, New York and lost his firefighter father in the September 11 terror attacks, when he was just seven, and the comedian has previously admitted that the death of his parent has greatly influenced his stand-up routines – which he started at the age of 16.
The star was also previously engaged to Larry David’s daughter, Cazzie David, 25, as well as pop superstar Ariana Grande, 25, who he popped the question to after just four weeks of dating.
Pete is currently romancing 45-year-old actress Kate Beckinsale and the ‘What Men Want’ actor recently hit out at people who criticise their 20 year age gap.
He argued: “Apparently people have a crazy fascination with our age difference. It doesn’t really bother us, but then again I’m new to this.

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Bunton insisted “It’s the first I’ve heard of it” when quizzed about bandmates Mel B and Geri Horner’s alleged hook up in the 90s.
Mel recently claimed she had a “one time” fling with Geri 20 years ago, which she stated will never “happen again”, during a tell-all interview on ‘Piers Morgan’s Life Stories’, however Geri has denied the claims.
Now Emma – who is known as Baby Spice in the girl group – has broken her silence on the news, and admitted she wasn’t aware that her pals had allegedly spent the night together.
During her interview on ‘The Chris Evans Breakfast Show’ on Virgin with Sky, the radio host interrupted and asked: “Do we want to talk about the Piers Morgan interview? I think it’s genius. I think Mel B dropped a gossip bomb in true Hollywood PR style.
“I think Mel B and Geri will have to sing ‘2 Become 1’!”
Emma then coyly replied: “Out of anyone I’ve spoken to, you know the girls more than me.
“It’s the first I’ve heard of it!”
The ‘Baby Please Don’t Stop’ singer hasn’t seen the interview in question, but admitted that everything Mel says should be “taken with a pinch of salt”.
She continued: “With Mel B, you have to take everything with a pinch of salt. she’s great fun!”
Chris then joked: “It’s gotta be good for business, it’s just a laugh!”
To which Emma laughed: “I felt left out!”
Mel had claimed she and Geri slept together when the band were in their intimacy the 1990s.
She said: “We were best friends. It just happened. It wasn’t a thing. It just happened. We just giggled at it and that was it. It just happens one time and then you talk about it and it does not really happen again. It was just that one time …
“Hopefully when Geri gets asked she wont deny it, because it was just a thing. It was not anything major. It was just a fun thing. You asked me a question and I answered it. She is going to hate me for this because she is all posh in her country house and her husband. But its’ a fact. She is going to kill me and so is her husband.”
However, a statement released through Geri’s representative said: “It has been very disappointing to read about all these rumours again, especially on Mother’s Day of all days. Geri is really grateful for your support and loyalty for so many years. She loves the Spice Girls: Emma, Melanie, Melanie and Victoria She would like you to know that what has been reported recently is simply not true and has been very hurtful to her family. Moving forward, Geri can’t wait to see the girls and all the fans on the tour, have an amazing time with everyone, and make some new memories. She wishes you a Happy Mother’s Day.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gordon Ramsay’s brood are smitten with the newest addition to the family.
The TV chef – who has Matilda, 17, twins Jack and Holly, 19, and Megan, 21, with wife Tana – announced he had welcomed another son named Oscar James into the world on Thursday (04.04.19), and his children have taken to Instagram to pay tribute to their newborn sibling.
Alongside two pictures of herself holding Oscar, Holly wrote: “Welcome to the world baby Oscar James I love you so so much already and thank you for the happiness you have bought us all. (sic)”
Jack, who is no longer the only male offspring in the household, added to his profile: “Love you bro.”
Matilda shared some pictures of her parents with their baby boy, and added: “I love you so much, welcome to the world baby boy.”
Whilst their eldest child Megan gushed: “Welcome to the world baby Oscar, love you forever.”
The ‘Hells Kitchen’ star announced the news by quipping: “After 3 baftas and one Emmy… finally we have won an Oscar, please welcome Oscar James Ramsay, who touched down at 12:58 today for some lunch ! Xxx (sic)”
Gordon and Tana, 44, announced they were expecting another tot on New Year’s Day (01.01.19), in a social media post which showed off Tana’s growing baby bump.
In the video, Gordon said: “And Happy New Year because, guess what? We’ve got another one coming. Oh my Lord.”
Before writing in the caption of the clip: “Exciting news ! Happy new year from all the Ramsay’s (sic)”
Meanwhile, Gordon and Tana’s baby joy comes two years after the couple suffered a devastating miscarriage in June 2016.
Their unborn baby boy, who they named Rocky, tragically died five months into their pregnancy.
Taking to his Twitter account at the time, Gordon wrote: “Hi guys, Tana and I want to thank you so much for your support over the past couple of weeks.
“We had a devastating weekend as Tana has sadly miscarried our son at five months. We’re together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes.”
The former ‘F Word’ star later expressed how their loss brought the family closer together than ever before.
He said: “You realise how lucky you are and you reflect on what you have, how fortunate you are with our remaining children and you remind yourself of what you’ve got. It’s made the family unit even tighter.”

The ‘Emmerdale’ star – who has played Vanessa Woodfield since 2012 – has thanked her fans for their support after the shortlist was revealed for the upcoming event, and she is “very proud” of the team behind the soap.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “Well this is very lovely! Thank you to everyone who nominated me for the shortlist and thank you in advance to anyone who votes for me from now! (sic)”
Michelle – who is engaged to the show’s producer Kate Brooks – added on Twitter: “Thank you for the nominations! Very proud to be part of such a wonderful team (sic)”

What’s more, ‘Coronation Street’ star Dolly-Rose Campbell – who plays Gemma Winter – finds herself on the shortlist for the awards with a nomination in the Rising Star category.

OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna reportedly wants to direct the biopic about her life she previously dismissed.
The Queen of Pop previously branded a script written about her journey by Elyse Hollander called ‘Blond Ambition’ as a “disease in our society” and insisted that she was “the only one” who would be able to tell her story.
Taking to Instagram, she previously fumed: “Nobody knows what I know and what I have seen. Only I can tell my own story. Anyone else who tries is a charlatan and a fool. Looking for instant gratification without doing the work. This is a disease in our society.”
The project was put into development by producer Michael De Luca and Universal Pictures, however the 60-year-old singer wouldn’t grant the rights to any of her original songs from early in her career.
Now, however, the cultural icon has decided that she does want a film documenting her rise to fame and, according to Baz Bamigboye’s column in theDaily Mail newspaper, she feels if she can’t shut the project down, she’d rather “control it from within and make a film to her specifications.”
This isn’t Madonna’s first foray into directing, and in 2018 it was announced the ‘Like A Prayer’ hitmaker would helm a Michaela DePrince biopic called ‘Taking Flight’.
The movie – which is based on the 23-year-old ballerina’s memoir ‘Taking Flight: From War Orphan to Star Ballerina’ – follows DePrince’s life as an orphan in Sierra Leone and her journey to being a world-renowned dancer.
The production marks Madonna’s third time directing a movie after helming the 2008 comedy ‘Filth and Wisdom’ and 2011’s ‘W.E.’
The ‘Hung Up’ hitmaker also produced and wrote the documentary ‘I Am Because We Are’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus will replace Cardi B at Primavera Sound 2019.
the ‘Wrecking Ball’ hitmaker has stepped in and joined a star studded lineup after the ‘Bodak Yellow’ star had to pull out of her performance at the festival.
In a press release, the organisers said: “Ms Cyrus has positioned herself as one of the most non-conformist voices of the current star system, while also contributing to the gender discourse that makes her a perfect fit for the year of The New Normal at Primavera Sound.
“At the same time we regret to announce that Cardi B will not perform at Primavera Sound 2019. The American artist has cancelled her appearance due to promotional commitments in the United States that cannot be postponed.”
Now, Miley is set to take to the stage on Friday, May 31 alongside the likes of Janelle Monae, Robyn and Carly Rae Jepsen.
This year’s event – which takes place at Parc del Forum in Barcelona from May 30 to June 1 – will also feature headline slots from Tame Impala, Solange and Erykyah Badu.
However, the festival has offered refunds to any punters with a day ticket for the Friday who no longer wish to attend after the lineup change.
The news comes after it was revealed Cardi is leading the way with 21 nominations for this year’s Billboard Awards.
The ‘Please Me’ rapper will compete against herself in three categories with ‘I Like It’ and Maroon 5 feature ‘Girls Like You’ up for Top 100 Song, Top Selling Song and Top Collaboration.
The 26-year-old star is also up for Top Artist, Top Rap Song for ‘I Like It’ and Top Rap Album for ‘Invasion of Privacy, Top Female Artist and more.

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyonce has teamed up with Adidas to become their new creative partner.
The 37-year-old pop star has announced a new partnership with the sportswear giant to release exclusive new footwear, clothing and relaunch her activewear clothing line Ivy Park, which initially launched with Topshop in 2016.
In a statement, the singer said: “This is the partnership of a lifetime for me. Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries.
“We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.”
Adidas has confirmed she will retain ownership of her company and continue “her journey as one of the first black women to be the sole owner of an athleisure brand.”
As well as developing a new line of signature footwear and apparel, the ‘Lemonade’ hitmaker will partner with Adidas on a “unique purpose-driven program focused on empowering and enabling the next generation of athletes, creators and leaders”.
Eric Liedtke, an executive board member who is in charge of the company’s global brands, added: “Beyonce is an iconic creator but also a proven business leader, and together, we have the ability to inspire change and empower the next generation of creators.”
The much-anticipated collaboration was announced on Instagram on Thursday (04.04.19) and simply flashes ‘Beyonce, Adidas, Ivy Park’ in bold black text against a yellow background

The 22-year-old model – who is married to ‘Sorry’ singer Justin Bieber – features in the American denim label’s much-anticipated campaign wearing Levi’s iconic styles, including the original 501, the 501 skinny and 501 shorts, that have been customised with the star’s name in neon.
And Hailey has revealed that the collaboration was an obvious choice because she stole her first pair of Levi jeans from her dad, Stephen Baldwin, and she still wears them “today”.
Bieber said: “I’ve been wearing 501 cutoffs since I can remember. They make me feel like me. I still wear them today.”
The campaign marks the date when the original riveted blue jeans were patented 146 years ago, and the brand has revealed that they were happy to have an “authentic fan” feature in their ad.
Chief marketing officer of Levi Strauss and Co, Jennifer Sey told WWD: “Hailey has been wearing our icons, Levi’s 501s and 501 shorts and trucker jackets, without us having to ask her to. She’s a real authentic fan. It never felt right before but we love Hailey’s energy and optimism. It felt like the right time to associate a face with 501.”
The blonde beauty has previously admitted that she “really loves clothes” and takes inspiration from the designers and creative directors she works with when modelling.
She said: “I’ve gotten to work with so many people and get a feel for other people’s tastes and see their style. I’m so inspired by clothes and fashion. I really love clothes, so I pay really close attention to what designers and creative directors do in terms of cuts and fits. I’m big on the way things look and fit on me.”

The former One Direction star took to Twitter to shut down rumours that his recent expletive-laden cryptic tweet was aimed at the supermodel – who he has dated on/off since November 2015 – after it was suggested they had cooled off their relationship.
On April 3, the 26-year-old pop star fumed: “How about you all go f**k yourselves with your irrelevant bulls**t … This ain’t a place for feelings … And you aren’t the person you said you were.”
And on Thursday night (05.04.19), he hit back at those who suggested his tweets were anything to do with Gigi, 23, whilst he admitted he “doesn’t deserve” the “love and support ” he receives from the blonde beauty.
He ranted: “To any dumb f**k out there that wants to make they’re own stories up … My tweet was not about @GiGiHadid so leave her the f**k alone she is the most amazing woman I’ve ever known … And does nothing but love and support me when lord knows I don’t deserve it … So if you have anything to say @ me and I’ll put you the f**k straight … If you know nothing shut your f***ing mouth (sic)”
Meanwhile, Gigi was forced to shut down rumours she is dating Selena Gomez’s ex-boyfriend Samuel Krost on the day of Zayn’s original outburst.
She tweeted: “If you outlets are going to continue writing bs headlines every time I’m seen with a friend of the male gender then there’s gunna be a lot of unneeded confusion. (sic)”
Last month, Zayn thanked his fans for “love and thoughts” after he apologised for being a “s**t person”.
The ‘Pillowtalk’ singer had posted a cryptic but public apology and although he later deleted the tweet without revealing the reason behind it, he later took to the micro-blogging site again to clarify he is “happy” despite the original post.
Writing on the social networking site the following day, he said: “Currently happy, could be happier. Thanks for all the love and thoughts yesterday just had a vent ha x (sic)”
In his original tweet, he wrote “I’d like apologize for basically being a s**t person. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Williams says her and the late Heath Ledger’s daughter Matilda is yet to transition into the difficult teenager stage.
The 48-year-old actress has brought up their 13-year-old girl single-handidly since the ‘Dark Knight’ actor tragically died in 2008 from an accidental overdose, when she was just two, and admitted she’s not had any trouble with Matilda so far as she enters her adolescence.
Appearing on ‘Live With Kelly And Ryan’ on what would have been Heath’s 40th birthday (04.04.19), Michelle – who wed Phil Elverum in a secret ceremony in June 2018 – said: “Every morning we wake up and I look to see if the transformation has happened and if it’s turned into the next level that I keep hearing about, but so far, we’re not there yet.”
Asked how they were coping on the ‘Brokeback Mountain’ birth date, the ‘Venom’ star replied: “So far so good.”
Meanwhile, the actress Kate Bosworth paid a touching tribute to Heath on his birthday and admitted she wished she would have “known him” now.
Alongside a black and white snap of the late actor, who was her peer and who she hailed “extraordinarily special”, the 36-year-old star wrote on Instagram: “Doesn’t seem so long ago we were all running around LA, shotgunned into Hollywood + popping off the new millennium’s cork, having a laugh. It was a crazy time. I was literally straight out of high school, feeling young & super shy and he was always so sweet within a surreal scene. I really, really would have loved to have known Heath today, at 40. No limits on what he would have accomplished. Here is what I remember: he was sensitive, gentle, kind, wickedly funny. Extraordinarily special. Time goes by, his image still a teenage heartthrob. And his work. So brilliant + honest & he was just getting started. But to remember the Human. I was on the outer orbit. OHMYGOSSIP — Seth Rogen says Charlize Theron took control when they filmed their sex scene for ‘Long Shot’.
The 36-year-old actor stars in the new romantic-comedy with the 43-year-old actress and says when they shot their love scene together, he let the stunning South African starlet take lead and control the racy proceedings.
Seth appeared on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ on Thursday night (04.04.19) and said: “It’s a brief love making scene and the joke of the scene is that we both orgasm in a very short amount of time which for me which is very believable, I think!
“And she kept claiming it was possible! And you don’t want to bring too much to these arguments. Who am I to tell her (how to do) her thing? Everything you say is your own personal stuff, so it is just only humiliating to suggest anything.
“But I was like maybe I would be on the bottom first in a situation like this… and she was like, ‘No! I’m on the bottom I’m on the top, this is how this goes down! And I was just like, ‘Whatever the hell you say. I’m sure you know better than I do. I will do what you like!”
‘Long Shot’ – which is directed by Jonathan Levine – tells the story of how Fred Flarsky (Seth) reunites with his first crush, his former babysitter Charlotte (Charlize), who is running for President.
And while they shared an awkward scene, the ‘SuperBad’ actor loved working with Charlize and described her as “unfairly” being blessed with beauty, talent and a “cool” personality.
He said: “She is objectively lovable! She is cool and she is beautiful and she is outrageously talented, far more talented than I am. And it seems like she has been given an unfair amount of attributes, but that is what happens sometimes I guess.”
