OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Smith has started shooting his ‘Jay and Silent Bob’ reboot – on the one year anniversary of his near-fatal heart attack.
The 48-year-old filmmaker rose to prominence after the 1994 movie ‘Clerks’ – which he wrote, directed, co-produced, and acted in as the character Silent Bob of stoner duo Jay and Silent Bob – and exactly a year on from suffering a heart attack which almost took his life, he has taken to Instagram to confirm the upcoming reboot of the popular pair is official under way.
Alongside a picture of himself with Jay Mewes and Jason Lee, he wrote: “One year ago today, I almost died. So today, I’m living it up on with @jaymewes and Jason Lee on Day 1 of my new flick @jayandsilentbob Reboot!
“I couldn’t think of a better scene with which to start the shoot than the return to the Mall with Brodie Bruce. The three of us gathered for a couple hours last night to run the lines and realized we first rehearsed together waaaaay back in the mid-90’s. It may be 24 years later and we may have 6 kids between us, but Jay, Lee and me partied like it was 1995, giggling while adding jokes and finding inflections. (sic)”
Kevin went on to say the group had the Oscars on during their practice, and admitted he felt “relief” when he wasn’t included in the In Memoriam segment.
He continued: “The Oscars were on in the background during our practice and I couldn’t help but feel relief when the “In Memoriam” montage ended and I wasn’t in it. We picked 2/25 as the Reboot start date *intentionally*, to celebrate the fact that I did not become Silent Bob forever 365 days ago. But after a blissful couple hours of making pretend with my friends on the set of my 14th film, I’m starting to think I *did* die in that operating room after all. Because what could be more Heavenly than this? (sic)”
The filmmaker has kept fans up to date with the film’s proceedings since the start of this year, when he posted an update during a “pre-pre-production” meeting, which was followed by the announcement that filming would begin this month.

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard E. Grant says meeting Barbra Streisand was everything he had “hoped and dreamed” it would be.
The ‘Can You Ever Forgive Me?’ star was thrilled to come face to face with his childhood hero at the Academy Awards on Sunday evening (24.02.19) and although he missed out on the Best Actor in a Supporting Role gong, he was overjoyed to meet Barbra.
In a series of tweets, he wrote: “Being Oscar nominated was pretty amazing, but meeting with @barbrastreisand and having a proper conversation was an absolute astonishment. 40 carat Gold … Suitably blurry-eyed selfie with @BarbraStreisand who was EVERYTHING I’d hoped, expected & dreamt she’d be. QUEEN BEE (sic)”
Richard has been a fan of Barbra since he was 14-years-old, when he penned a sweet letter to the famous singer.
He wrote on Twitter: “As a lifelong fan of someone you’ll understand what it meant for me to take this snap outside the home of @BarbraStreisand Asked Security for permission & he replied, ‘It’s a public road, but thanks for asking’. Wrote her this letter when I was 14. My wife is very understanding! (sic)”
And Barbra responded to his message, adding: “Dear Richard What a wonderful letter you wrote me when u were 14 ! and look at u now! You’re terrific in your latest movie with Melissa congratulations and love Barbra (sic)”
The ‘Can You Ever Forgive Me?’ star then took to social media to share his excitement at getting a tweet from his idol.
Alongside a crying emoji and a heart eyes emoji, he wrote: “My pal Nicole Wilcox took this photo as my daughter read me @BarbraStreisand ‘s tweet/response to a letter I sent her 47 yrs ago. Am completely crinkle faced & overcome with emotion. My ‘Message in a bottle’ miracle. (sic)”

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star was shocked to find out her best friend kissed her sister Khloe Kardsahian’s boyfriend Tristan Thompson and is upset at the idea she will have to cut her off.
A source told The Sun Online: “Kylie is devastated about everything. She would never have guessed this would happen. Jordyn is her closest friend and she relies on her so heavily. She gets advice on everything from her – Jordyn goes to pretty much every business meeting with Kylie. They live together, she helps care for Stormi, she drives her places, she is emotional support when Kylie is overwhelmed. Faced with losing all of that, Kylie is really upset. She’s been in tears every day and the whole family is very concerned she won’t be able to cope without her.”
Jordyn was recently told to move out of her best friend Kylie’s house so that the television personality can make up her mind about what she wants to do next.
An insider said: “Kylie is extremely upset about everything that is going on with Khloe and her best friend Jordyn. Jordyn is a sister to Kylie, and she’s extremely shocked this could happen, as is the whole family. OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga “can’t remember” what she said in her Oscars acceptance speech.
The 32-year-old singer picked up the prize for Best Original Song for ‘Shallow’ from ‘A Star is Born’ at this year’s ceremony on Sunday night (24.02.19) but just moments later, she confessed she had completely forgotten what she had said.
Speaking to Good Morning America backstage, she shared: “I actually don’t remember what I said. It’s a dream sequence and all that you can hope for is that you say something that will reach people, that they will feel inspired, because when you win, it’s not about us, it’s about what we can give to the world.”
In her speech, Gaga urged people to “fight” for their dreams as she also emotionally discussed the “hard work” she’s put into her career and insisted never giving up is far more important than “winning”.
She said: “If you’re at home and sitting on your couch watching this, it is hard work, I’ve worked hard for a long time, it’s not about winning, it’s about not giving up.
“If you have a dream, fight for it. It’s not about how many times you get rejected or that you fall down or are beaten up, it’s about how many times you stand up and are brave and you keep on going.”
Gaga also thanke her co-writers – who joined her on stage – her family, including her “soulmate” sister, and director and co-star Bradley Cooper.
She said: “Thank you so much to the academy for this wonderful honour, to every person in this room, to Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando, and Andrew Wyatt, my co-writers. OHMYGOSSIP — Selma Blair “appreciated every second” of her appearance at an Oscars after-party on Sunday (24.02.19), following her MS diagnosis.
The 46-year-old was pictured attending the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in Beverly Hills where she used a cane to support her movement following her battle with the illness – which affects the central nervous system, disrupting the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.
And now, the star has detailed her emotional return to the public eye, and sent special thanks to her manager and “fake husband” Troy Nankin, who supported her both literally and figuratively on the red carpet.
In a lengthy Instagram post, she wrote: “There are moments that define us. This is one of those indelibly watermarked in my heart. This is #troynankin ; my former publicist turned manager , best friend , and fake husband. We joke. I have become a different woman in the last few years, through struggles and the intense pride of motherhood. @vanityfair has always been a champion of mine, like Troy. And yet, I have not fully realized my capabilities as an actress. I wanted to be at this red carpet to remember my first time attending with a not yet famous friend, @jakegyllenhaal . I believed in him and his career and wanted him there. And this dinner always symbolizes so much. And I kept going because it was always a night in hollywood that was full of hollywood dreams with all the talent present in their glory. I loved to watch. I was invited this year. I am featured in March issue .

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande has dethroned Selena Gomez as the most followed woman on Instagram.
The ‘God is a Woman’ hitmaker has managed to overtake the 26-year-old singer in the race to gain the most followers on the photo sharing app, according to new figures from Billboard.
However, despite Ariana’s victory, the numbers are still tight, with the 25-year-old star having an exact total of 146,286,173 followers, while the ‘Bad Liar’ singer has only fallen slightly behind with 146,267,801.
But the pair’s impressive totals are still eclipsed by that of soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who overtook Selena in October to be the most followed person on Instagram with more than 155 million followers.
According to Billboard, ‘7 Rings’ hitmaker Ariana has gained 13 million more followers on Instagram over the last four months, which coincides with the release of her latest album ‘Thank U, Next’, as well as her split from former fiancé Pete Davidson in October.
Ariana and Pete made headline news for their split, which came five months after they had gotten engaged, and just six months after the start of their romance.
Meanwhile, Selena’s numbers have dropped slightly after she took a four-month break from social media from September to January, in the midst of her decision to enter a treatment facility to help with her anxiety and depression.
She said in a video at the time: As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given. Kindness and encouragement only for a bit! Just remember: negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings.”
The ‘Wolves’ singer also claimed she doesn’t “have the damn app on my phone,” so doesn’t understand how she has so many followers – or why people care.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Foxx reportedly declared himself single at an Oscars after-party.
The 51-year-old actor seemingly confirmed that he is no longer dating Katie Holmes after revealing his relationship status on stage whilst performing at the Entertainment Studios Oscar Gala Supporting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
A source told Us Weekly: “It was very nonchalant, while he was referring to married and single couples, he just dropped the line, ‘I’m single.'”
The Oscar-winner is also believed to have attended Beyonce and Jay-Z’s post-Oscars bash at Chateau Marmont with former ‘Gossip Girl’ star Jessica Szohr, 33, on Sunday night (24.02.19).
They also made an appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, but Jessica reportedly spent most of the evening with her model pal Alexis Rupp.
Katie, 40 – who has a 12-year-old daughter called Suri with ex-husband Tom Cruise – and the ‘Django Unchained’ star were first romantically linked to each other for the first time back in 2013, but the pair subsequently spent years insisting that they were merely just good friends.
However, the high profile duo finally went public with their relationship in September 2017, when they were pictured holding hands while walking along a beach.
A source previously revealed Jamie and Katie live “very independent lives”.
They shared: “They’ve always lived very independent lives, but try to make time to see each other. It’s not uncommon for them to go long stretches without seeing each other. And they’re still very, very private. You’re not going to hear or see every time they’re together because they don’t flaunt their relationship in public.”
Katie was reportedly banned from dating for five years due to a clause included in her divorce from Tom, which was settled in 2012 following six years of marriage.

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Colman celebrated her Oscars win by hiring a party bus with her friends.
The 45-year-old British actress reportedly relieved her “stressful” experience being named winner of the Best Actress gong for ‘The Favourite’ by taking five of her close pals with her as they travelled around celebrating in style in Los Angeles, before heading to an after-party where they are said to have partied “until the early hours”.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Olivia didn’t want anything uber posh like a fancy executive star so the party bus was the perfect idea to carry on the celebrations.
“She invited her glam squad and a couple of her mates and they drove around Los Angeles with the music pumping finishing off at a private bash where they stayed until the early hours.
“Olivia was on cloud nine and couldn’t be taken down.”
Olivia – who has three children with husband Ed Sinclair – was stunned to win the Academy Award at Sunday’s (24.02.19) ceremony and said she is planning to keep the statuette as close to her as possible.
Asked where she will be putting the award, she quipped: “In bed with me, between me and my husband. He doesn’t know yet but he won’t mind.”
Olivia won praise for her emotional speech, in which she admitted her win was both “hilarious” and “stressful” and she admitted she hadn’t planned any of it – and was amazed at winners who could stay “composed” and give their prepared messages of thanks.
Asked how much of her speech was prepared, she told reporters backstage at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre: “None of it… It’s not an every day occurrence, I don’t know how everyone is composed and remembers everything, it’s a very weird situation.”
And the British star is still in shock about her win.
She said: “I’ve no idea. I could not tell you what I’m feeling. Next year I’ll be able to put it into words but I don’t know what to do with myself at the moment.”
Olivia won the award for her portrayal of Queen Anne and joked the monarch would have some advice for her on how to celebrate.
She said: “[Queen Anne would say] ‘Have some cake. Eat too much and be sick.’ If you’ve seen the film it makes sense, that wasn’t just a weird thing to say.”
When she picked up her award, Olivia suggested she was expecting ‘The Wife’ star Glenn Close to have won.
She said in her speech: “To be in this category with so many extraordinary women…
“Glenn Close, you’ve been my idol for a long time and this is not how I wanted it to be. I love you all.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lord Alan Sugar wants BAFTA to “recognise” him as a “major contributor” to television.
The 71-year-old business magnate is the leading man behind both BBC entrepreneur show ‘The Apprentice’ and its celebrity counterpart, and whilst both shows have picked up an award at the annual BAFTA award ceremony in the past, he himself has never been allowed to take a gong home.
He said: “The Apprentice has won two BAFTAs. The first season, it won a BAFTA, and the second time they won was for Celebrity Apprentice. I was the one that brought them the idea.
“I was the one that brought it to the BBC. And I’m the only one that never got the gong, that never got the mask.
“Unbelievable … I went up there and made the acceptance speech and all that stuff, right? And I was told, no, they’re not for me, that’s for the hard-working backroom people in [production company] Boundless – one of whom was an accountant, believe it or not.”
And the billionaire says it’s “about time” BAFTA – which stands for British Academy of Film and Television Arts – gave him his own award, similar to the Special Award won by Simon Cowell in 2010.
Speaking to the Radio Times, he said: “So I think it’s about time that BAFTA started to recognise the show as a major contributor to business on television – in a similar manner to Simon Cowell.
“I think BAFTA should recognise me for my great contribution to business, and give me one of these awards.”
Meanwhile, the line up for the upcoming series of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ was recently revealed, including the likes of Robbie Williams’ wife Ayda Field, ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge Amanda Holden, comedians Omid Djalili and Russell Kane, and TV personality Rylan Clark-Neal.
The celebrity show will air as a two-part special next month in honour of Red Nose Day.

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Hoppus and Alex Gaskarth’s band Simple Creatures have announced their first live show at Download Festival.
The Blink-182 star and the All Time Low frontman’s new side project will headline the Avalanche stage at the rock festival at Donington Park in Leicestershire, England, on June 15.
They said: “An evening of Trash-Pop reverie awaits you at Download Fest. There will be Creatures. They will be Simple. There will be singing and dancing in a big tent. What more could you possibly want?”
Simple Creatures have so far released two songs, ‘Drug’ and title track ‘Strange Love, from their debut EP, which is due out on March 29.
Alex recently confessed that he was anxious about how the rest of All Time Low – also comprised of Jack Barakat, Zack Merrick and Rian Dawson – would react to his new project.
He said: “I was pretty nervous to go to them and say ‘Hey, how do you guys feel about this?’
“Given that if the tables were turned and it was them being approached by someone that mattered this much in their creative lives, I think it would be a no-brainer for any of us.”
Simple Creatures are among 17 more acts added to the already stellar line-up for Download this year, including Dinosaur Pile-up, The Wonder Years, Queen Zee and Allusinlove.
Def Leppard, Slipknot and Tool are set to headline the weekend, which takes place between June 14 and June 16.
Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash – teaming up with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators – and Whitesnake will also be entertaining the crowd at the annual extravaganza.
Plus the likes of Rob Zombie, Trivium, Amon Amarth, Carcass, Delain, Die Antwoord, Opeth, Power Trip, Skindred, Underoath and The Amity Affliction.

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B will release the music video for ‘Please Me’ this week.
The 26-year-old rapper released her collaboration with Bruno Mars earlier this month, and has now revealed fans won’t have long left to wait until the music video for the track drops, as she says it will be coming on Friday (01.03.19).
On Twitter, Cardi shared a picture of her face on a carton of horchata, in reference to the cheeky song lyric in which she compares her genitals to the milky Latin American drink.
Alongside the image, she wrote: “PLEASE ME MUSIC VIDEO WILL BE OUT FRIDAY !! (sic)”
And if that didn’t get the message across, Cardi then posted the same picture just minutes later with almost the same caption.
The second post read: “PLEASE ME MUSIC VIDEO THIS FRIDAY ! (sic)”
Cardi announced her track with Bruno on Instagram earlier this month, just days after she had deactivated her account after receiving a backlash over her Grammy win for Best Rap Album.
In a post at the time, she wrote: “Ok so I’m back from retirement to announce I have a brand new song coming out Friday at midnight with @brunomars . #twogrammywinningartist (sic)”.
Before deactivating her account, the ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker posted two rants in defence of her win, one of which was deleted before she took down her whole account, and was an expletive-filled video in which she said she was “sick” of being dragged down.
She said in the now-deleted clip: “I’ve been taking a lot of s**t today. I’m seeing a lot of bulls**t today and I saw a lot of s**t last night, and I’m sick of this s**t. I work hard for my motherf***ing album.
“I remember last year when I didn’t win for ‘Bodak Yellow’ and everybody was like, ‘Cardi got snubbed.’ Now this year’s a f***ing problem?! My album went two-time platinum, my n****, and every chart that there was, my album was always Top 10. Number one album, as well.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tessa Peake-Jones and Daniel Brocklebank are among the celebrities taking part in ‘All Star Musicals’.
The ‘Only Fools and Horses’ actress and ‘Coronation Street’ star – who plays vicar Billy Mayhew in the
ITV soap – will be joined by the likes of money expert Martin Lewis, TV gardener Alan Titchmarsh,
‘I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp’ host Joel Dommett, comedienne London Hughes and ‘Emmerdale’ star Amy Walsh (Tracy Shankley) for the TV special, which sees stars win over a live audience with a performance of a song from a popular stage show.
On why he signed up, Daniel said: “My motivation for doing the show was to do something that took me out of my comfort zone.
“I love singing. I sing at home all the time but in 25 years of being an actor I’ve never really used my voice in this way. It’s always good to try something new & push your boundaries.”
The famous faces will train with theatre legends and then belt out iconic hits from popular musicals at London’s iconic Palladium.
After everyone has performed, the audience then cast their vote and the winner is crowned.
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional Kevin Clifton will be joined by Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth and star of the West End Trevor Dion Nicholas as they help co-host and theatre legend Elaine Paige get the stars ready for their big performance.
John Barrowman – who takes over from Freddie Flintoff – is co-hosting alongside Elaine.
The last ‘All Star Musicals’ special, which aired in 2017, saw the likes of soap stars Lucy Fallon and Michael Parr, and ‘Bridget Jones’s Diary’ actress Sally Phillips compete.
‘Coronation’ Street’ star Lucy – who plays Bethany Platt on the ITV soap – won the festive episode two years ago as she wowed the theatre with her rendition of ‘Don’t Cry for Me Argentina’ from ‘Evita’.
The celebrities will have a choice of both contemporary and traditional musicals to pick songs from.
The ITV special will hit screens in spring.

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom bonded over burgers.
The couple – who got engaged earlier this month – first met at the Golden Globe awards three years ago when the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor swiped some fast food from the ‘Witness’ singer’s table – but she thought he was “hot” so let him have the meaty treat.
She told talk show host Jimmy Kimmel: “In-N-Out plays a big role in my life. We bonded over an In-N-Out burger about three years ago at the Golden Globes.
“He stole one off of my table, I was sitting with Denzel Washington he took it and I was like, ‘Wait! Who- oh, wow, you’re so hot. Fine, take it.'”
Flashing her pink diamond floral-shaped engagement ring, she continued: “Then I saw him at a party [afterwards] and was like, ‘How are those onions sitting on your molars?’ He was like, ‘I like you’ and then, you know, cut to…”
The 34-year-old singer – who was previously married to Russell Brand – also admitted she dropped some hints when it came to her engagement ring.
She admitted: “I voiced my opinions.”
But while the ring may not have been a surprise, the ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ hitmaker had no idea what Orlando was planning when it came to his proposal.
She recalled: “It was Valentine’s Day… It was very sweet. We went to dinner I thought we were going to go see some art, after dinner, but instead we pulled up to a helicopter.
“He asked me to marry him in a helicopter. We did land and it was like James Bond, everybody had an ear piece and we were rushed over… we landed on a rooftop [in Los Angeles] and my whole family was there, and all my friends. He did so well.”
The host quipped: “Very Bachelor.”
Katy laughed: “Yeah! I’m just glad I don’t have to go on that show now.”
However, the ‘American Idol’ judge admitted the 42-year-old actor’s proposal didn’t quite go according to plan as he’d handed her a love note to read in a bid to distract her while he pulled the ring box out of his jacket pocket so he could pop the question.
But while she was reading the message, the ring box got stuck and Orlando – who has eight-year-old son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr – managed to rip his jacket pocket and accidentally smash a bottle of champagne with his elbow.

The ‘A Star is Born’ actress has been locked in a war of words with the 60-year-old pop star for years but it seems they’ve now put it behind them because, following Gaga’s Oscar win for Best Original Song for ‘Shallow’ on Sunday (24.02.19), she headed to the exclusive annual party thrown by the ‘Material Girl’ hitmaker and her manager Guy Oseary, where they happily posed for a photo together.
In a portrait shared by Time magazine, Madonna, wearing white, was pictured cradling Gaga’s head while the smiling 32-year-old star, wearing black, had one hand over hers and the other clutching her Academy Award.
Madonna also shared the photo on Twitter along with the caption: “Don’t Mess with Italian Girls……,,..,,,,,,,[heart emoji] @ladygaga #winner #starisborn #oscar #theparty (sic)”
And despite the strict social media ban imposed on guests at the party, a fansite shared a short video of the pair rubbing noses for the camera too.
The feud between Madonna and Gaga dates back to 2012, when the ‘Like a Prayer’ hitmaker described Gaga’s music as “reductive”.
Prior to that incident, Gaga – a self-confessed fan of Madonna during her teenage years – admitted her hit single ‘Born This Way’ was influenced by the Madonna track ‘Express Yourself’.
But in her documentary, ‘Gaga: Five Foot Two’, the ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker told her older rival to be more upfront in her disapproval of her style.
She said: “The only thing that really bothers me about her is that I’m Italian and from New York so, like, if I got a problem with somebody, I’m gonna tell you to your face. But no matter how much respect I have for her as a performer, I could never wrap my head around the fact that she wouldn’t look me in the eye and tell me that I was reductive or whatever…
“No no no, like I saw it on f**king TV. Telling me that you think I’m a piece of s**t through the media – it’s like a guy passing me a note through his friend: ‘My buddy thinks you’re hot, here’s his…’ F**k you! Where’s your buddy f**king throwing up against the wall and kissing me?
“I just want Madonna to f**king push me up against the wall and kiss me and tell me I’m a piece of s**t.”
As recently as December, the ‘Hung Up’ singer made another dig at Gaga following the latter’s press tour for ‘A Star is Born’.
Gaga had repeatedly said of her co-star and director Bradley Cooper: “There can be 100 people in a room and 99 of them don’t believe in you, but all it takes is one and it just changes your whole life…”
But Madonna shared a clip from one of her own 1980s interviews on her Instagram story in which she said: “If there are 100 people in a room and 99 say they liked it, I only remember the one person who didn’t.”
She also shared a post which read: “Don’t F**k with me Monday.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Roman Reigns’ cancer is in remission.
The WWE superstar – who revealed four months ago that he was battling leukaemia – made an incredible return on ‘Monday Night Raw’ last night (25.02.19) as he announced he had overcome the disease for a second time and was officially back as part of the roster.
Speaking to an overjoyed crowd – who chanted “welcome back” and left Roman clearly emotional – he said: “I said I was going to swing for the fences. We did better than that y’all. We didn’t just swing for the fences man, we hit a home run.
“When I tell you this I’m so grateful, I’m so humbled and so honoured to announce this… the good news is, I’m in remission y’all. With that being said, the ‘Big Dog’ is back!”
Roman, 33, will appear on ‘Good Morning America’ on Tuesday (26.02.19) to chat about his announcement, which comes weeks after it was revealed he joined cousin Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson on the set of ‘Hobbs & Shaw’ to film a cameo role in the ‘Fast & Furious’ spin-off.
In October, the former Universal Champion – whose real name is Leati Joseph Anoaʻi -gave up the title as he delivered a devastating speech on ‘Raw’ to reveal his sad news.
He said: “I feel like I owe everyone an apology. For months, maybe even a whole year, I’ve come out here as Roman Reigns and said I’d come out here every week, that I’d be a fighting champion, that I was going to be consistent, that I was going to be a workhorse – but that’s all lies.
“It’s a lie because the reality is, my real name is Joe and I’ve been living with leukaemia for 11 years and unfortunately it’s back.”
However, at the time he vowed he would make a return – and just four months later he proved true to his word.
At the time, he promised: “Life’s not always fair, it’s not all peaches and cream. Sometimes life throws you a curve ball.
“And right now, the best thing for me is to go home, focus on my family and my health.
“But I want to make one thing clear – by no means is this a retirement speech. Because once I’m done whipping leukaemia’s ass I’m coming back home.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga has gushed about her “true friend” and “artistic genius” Bradley Cooper.
The ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker is still feeling the “joy” after her intimate performance of ‘Shallow’ with her ‘A Star Is Born’ co-star – which picked up the Academy Award for Best Original Song – and admitted that there is “nothing more special” than singing with the 44-year-old actor.
She tweeted: “Nothing could be more special than sharing this moment at the Oscars with a true friend and artistic genius.”
The 32-year-old singer-and-actress also revealed that Bradley advised her to make sure she felt the “joy” during their magical performance.
Speaking to E! News, she said: “What I would like to say is one of the hardest things in life is to be brave enough to be yourself.
“I wish to everyone that is going to that celebration to feel a joy inside of them.
“That’s actually what Bradley said to me yesterday right before we did our last rehearsal for this performance of ‘Shallow.’ He said, ‘Let’s just drop a little bit of joy.'”
The ‘Million Reasons’ hitmaker added that the pair aim to “spread love” when they duet together.
She said: “That’s all that you can hope for. You can only pray that blessing of what you made can reach into the world and spread love.
“Of all things that we can spread, that’s the most beautiful that we possibly could.”
Bradley’s girlfriend Irina Shayk was in the audience watching as the pair performed cheek-to-cheek, but she was the first to get up on her feet for their standing ovation.
Gaga thanked her co-star and the movie’s director during her acceptance speech, insisting there was “not a single person on the planet” other than Bradley she could have duetted with on the hit song from the movie.
She said: “My family is here, I love you, mum and dad. Bradley, there is not a single person on the planet that could’ve sung this song with me but you. Thank you for believing in us, thank you so much.”
