OHMYGOSSIP — Dolly Parton has joked her desire to stay looking young has “really aged” her plastic surgeons.
The 73-year-old singer has always been open about going under the knife to help her look her best as the years have passed and she has quipped that her commitment to beauty has left her loyal surgeons worn out
In an interview on UK TV show ‘This Morning’ on Tuesday (26.02.19), she said: “There’s no secret. People say, ‘You look so young,’ and I say, ‘Yes, but I have really aged my plastic surgeons. I always say it’s good lighting, good make-up a good doctor!”
The ‘Jolene’ hitmaker has admitted to numerous cosmetic procedures in the past which include breast implants, a brow lift, chin augmentation and rhinoplasty.
The country music legend has been married to her husband Carl Thomas Dean for nearly 53 years and says that the reason their relationship is so strong is because it is built on “respect.”
She said: “We like each other. We both have fun and we both have a great sense of humour. We have a lot of respect for each other. It’s easy for me to have fun.
Dolly admits away from the glitz and glamour of her career she lives a pretty “normal life” but she still ensures she gets dressed up for Carl because she likes to look good for her man.
She said: “I do live a normal life, that’s why I keep my privacy private. I’m a showgirl when I’m out there.
“People always say, ‘Do you always dress up?’ I dress up a little for my husband, I don’t want to go out and look good for anybody but him and look like a slouch. I put my make-up on, I fix my hair, I don’t always wear the full thing. I have my clothes, I have my comfort zone.”

OHMYGOSSIP — John Cena has called Roman Reigns a real life superhero for the way he has handled his cancer battle.
The WWE superstar turned actor has heaped praise on his fellow former world champion after Roman, 33, announced on Monday night (25.02.19) that his cancer is in remission just four months after he revealed he was battling leukaemia.
Cena took to social media following the news, and tweeted: “Real superheroes exist. Back and with strength and purpose! It’s your yard Roman. Your time is most certainly NOW!”
Roman made his highly anticipated return to WWE on ‘RAW’ this week to give a public update on his health, and he admitted on Tuesday (26.02.19) he was “so nervous” about addressing the fans.
He told ‘Good Morning America’: “I just knew in my head that this journey isn’t going to be complete until I can step back in the ring and address my fans. They were just so gentle with me, so gracious, they sent me such love.”
Addressing the crowd, Roman – who had already battled the disease once before 11 years ago – announced he had overcome it for a second time.
Speaking to an overjoyed audience – who chanted “welcome back” and left the star clearly emotional with their response – he said: “I said I was going to swing for the fences. We did better than that y’all. We didn’t just swing for the fences man, we hit a home run.
“When I tell you this I’m so grateful, I’m so humbled and so honoured to announce this … the good news is, I’m in remission. With that being said, the ‘Big Dog’ is back!”
In October, the former Universal Champion – whose real name is Leati Joseph Anoaʻi -gave up the title as he delivered a devastating speech on TV show ‘RAW’ to reveal his sad news.
He said: “I feel like I owe everyone an apology. For months, maybe even a whole year, I’ve come out here as Roman Reigns and said I’d come out here every week, that I’d be a fighting champion, that I was going to be consistent, that I was going to be a workhorse – but that’s all lies.
“It’s a lie because the reality is, my real name is Joe and I’ve been living with leukaemia for 11 years and unfortunately it’s back.”
However, at the time he vowed he would make a return – and just four months later he proved true to his word.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga hopes in the future that awards shows will have gender neutral categories.
The 32-year-old singer-and-actress picked up the prize for Best Original Song for ‘Shallow’ from her movie ‘A Star is Born’ at the Academy Awards on Sunday night (24.02.19) and speaking to assembled media backstage afterwards she called for a future where prizes are not differentiated by a person’s sex/
Speaking in the press room she was asked if she would send a message to all her fans in Sydney, Australia, who are currently celebrating Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
Thinking about her answer, Gaga responded by saying: “One of the hardest things in life is to be brave enough to be yourself. I wish to everyone that is going to that celebration to feel a joy inside of them.
“I hope that everyone there in Sydney feels so much joy and celebrates all sexual identities. I also have a true dream in our future, as we evolve as humanity, that these award shows will not be male and female, but that we include everyone.”
Following her comments, Gaga was applauded by her ‘Shallow’ co-writers Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt who were present and the assembled journalists.
In her emotional acceptance speech, Gaga urged people to “fight” for their dreams and never give up as she recalled all the “hard work” she has put into her career to become a success
The ‘Born This Way’ hitmaker said: “If you’re at home and sitting on your couch watching this, it is hard work, I’ve worked hard for a long time, it’s not about winning, it’s about not giving up.
“If you have a dream, fight for it. It’s not about how many times you get rejected or that you fall down or are beaten up, it’s about how many times you stand up and are brave and you keep on going.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Mayo says he left BBC Radio 2 because his classical station is a more “thrilling way” to spend his next few years.
The 60-year-old DJ left his Radio 2 Drivetime Show with Jo Whiley last year amidst claims he was unhappy that he had been forced to work with a co-host.
At the time he claimed he would be filling his time focusing on his novel writing career, however, Simon was recently announced to be hosting a mid-morning classical show on brand new station Scala Radio when it launches on March 4.
Simon has dismissed any suggestion that he was pushed out of Radio 2 of that Jo was the reason he left the station insisting that despite some “awkwardness to start with” they ended on a “point of strength”.
In an interview with The I Paper, he said: “It was written that my show with Jo was a disaster whether that was true or no. But thousands of listeners did not desert the show. We finished on a point of strength with 6.2 million listeners. We weren’t taken off air we weren’t taken off air. I left.
“There certainly was some awkwardness to start with which was probably entirely my fault, but the show was a hit.
“Radio 2 wanted me to stay but I just thought Scala Radio would be a more thrilling way to spend the next few years on air.”
Simon promises that his new show will provide “classical music for modern life” six-days a week and the presenter says he feels listeners will be surprised at how “accessible” his new station will be.
He said: “The exciting thing is to be at the start of something new. I’ve never had the chance to do that before. I think a lot of people will be surprised at how accessible classical can be.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona’s ninth birthday was ruined when no one turned up to her party because her friends’ parents found out her mum was a lesbian.
The 38-year-old TV star “hates parties” because she cannot forget the time she was left with no friends at her own bash at the tender age, something she believes happened because her mother Sue had a female lover.
Writing in her column in the latest issue of New! magazine, she revealed: “I hate parties in general. It stems from my ninth birthday, when my mum threw me a do. She was a lesbian and her sister, who was also gay, and their partners came too. It was the 80s and I’m guessing the prejudice was huge, because not a single other person turned up. I had to play pass the parcel on my own! So I swore I’d never have a birthday do again. And apart from my 30th, which was shown on TV, I haven’t.”
Kerry and her mother had an unconventional and strained relationship when she was growing up, with the former Atomic Kitten star spending time in foster care, whilst Sue even gave her daughter illegal amphetamine drug speed when she was just 14.
The singer – who has five children, Molly, 17, and Lilly-Sue, 15, with first husband Brian McFadden, Heidi, 11, and Maxwell, 10, with second spouse Mark Croft and Dylan-Jorge, four, with third husband George Kay – also laughed off claims she is in trouble with Lilly-Sue’s school for days she has missed.
She said: “Lilly is an A-grade student who has never skipped school in her life, but she’s been poorly and had to have a few days off. If I’m working, I sometimes forget to let the school know she won’t be in.
“It resulted in me having to answer a charge of failing to send my child to school regularly, but I couldn’t make the hearing due to a prearranged work commitment, which the court knew about.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Selma Blair would “self-medicate” and “drink” alcohol to help her cope with her chronic pain before being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2018.
The ‘Cruel Intentions’ actress made her first public appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, on Sunday (24.02.19) – where she used a cane to support her movement – following months away from the spotlight after her diagnosis with the illness, which affects the central nervous system, disrupting the flow of information within the brain and between the brain and body.
The 46-year-old star has now revealed that when she finally got her diagnosis for MS in 2018, it was a “relief” because she was struggling to be “taken seriously” by doctors when she shared her medical problems.
Opening up to ‘Good Morning America’ on Tuesday (26.02.19), she said: “I was self-medicating when [Arthur] wasn’t with me. I was drinking, I was in pain. I wasn’t always drinking, but there were times when I couldn’t take it. And I was really struggling with how am I going to get by in life.
“There were times when I couldn’t take it and I was really struggling with how I’m going to get by in life not being taken seriously by doctors.
“I dropped my son off at school a mile away and before I got home I’d have to pull over and take a nap … it was killing me. And so when I got the diagnosis, I cried with relief.”
Selma – who has seven-year-old son Arthur with her ex, fashion designer Jason Bleick – insists knowing she has MS has been relief.
She added: “I am doing very well. Being able to just put out what being in the middle of an aggressive form of Multiple Sclerosis is like. So my speech, I have spasmodic dysphonia right now … It is interesting to be here to say this is what my particular case looks like right now.
“I had tears. They weren’t tears of panic, they were tears of knowing that I now had to give in to a body that had loss of control and there was some relief in that. No one has the energy to talk when they’re in a flare-up, but I do because I love a camera.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Russell Brand has urged his fans to practice mindfulness.
The 43-year-old comedian-and-activist has admitted that he occasionally struggles with being mindful – aware of experiences occurring in the present moment – and he has made a suggestion to his 11.7 million Twitter followers that they should have “awareness of their breath” to help their state of mind.
Speaking in a Twitter video, he said: “I find it quite difficult. For example, being present in this moment means I have awareness in my breath an awareness of this moment and a kind of connection with the truth of what I’m saying, so that when you listen to it, it feels real.”
The former actor went on to explain that he finds it difficult to appreciate simple things such as walking his dog or eating a meal and claimed that “we’ve forgotten how to live in our hearts and bellies”.
He continued: “When I’m out walking the dogs so much of the time I’m so lost in my thoughts I’m not even present on the dog walk the dog walk can end. Our meals, I don’t appreciate meals
“We have become enchanted by our inner lives by an aspect of mind that in certain cultures is regarded simply as a tool for solving logical problems. We’ve forgotten how to live in our hearts forgotten how to live in our bellies.”
The ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ star – who has two daughters, Mabel, two, and seven-month-old Peggy, with his wife Laura – added that “the body holds a lot of answers” and reiterated that fans should simply “stay with their breath” in order to practice mindfulness.
He said: “Stay with your breath, be present in your body, the body holds a lot of answers I’ve been guilty of being to cerebral in the past I’m learning to be more present in this body that I live in.”

The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star has insisted that although she isn’t in “the mood to chat” at the moment, she appreciates the “kind words” she has received from her her fans on social media after her break-up from her boyfriend once again after he was caught kissing Jordyn Woods, her sister Kylie Jenner’s best friend.

A source recently claimed: “Tristan and Jordyn were definitely hanging close to one another and were being very flirty. Tristan had his arms around her at one point. Jordyn stood by him the entire time they were out and he was laughing and smiling at her.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dolly Parton is excited to star in new ‘9 to 5’ film.
The blonde singer is excited about the upcoming sequel to the cult 1980 comedy – which she appeared in alongside Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin – and has promised she will have more than a brief “cameo” role in the upcoming movie.
Parton appeared on ‘This Morning’ on Tuesday (26.02.19), and when asked about making appearance in the upcoming film, said: “Oh we’re not gonna do a cameo, we’re actually going to be starring in it – Jane, Lily and I!
“They have done a new take on it. Patricia Resnick who also wrote the musical here, she also wrote the original 9 to 5.
“Now forty years later, we’re doing a sequel where there are actually three new girls who are consolidating. They say ‘whatever happened to those women who made changes those years ago?’
“We’re all successful women, different parts of the country. So we all live together, kind of help them out. So much fun we had!”
The classic film told the tale of three secretaries who get revenge on their sexist boss by abducting him and the new film will follow a fresh female trio who work for the same company.
The country singer previously said she chose to accept a part in the iconic comedy not because of its message of female empowerment, but for the chance to work with “big stars” Fonda and Tomlin.
She admitted: “I didn’t think of it in those (feminist) terms to be honest with you. I was thinking more in terms of business than subject matter.
“Jane was a big star and so was Lily, so I thought, ‘This is great. If it’s a big movie we can share the glory and if it’s a flop it’s on them.’ And Jane says, ‘Well Dolly will give us audiences in the South.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Janet Jackson has announced her upcoming Las Vegas residency.
The ‘Rhythm Nation’ hitmaker is soon to be taking over Sin City with her headlining show ‘Metamorphosis’, which will begin on Friday May 17 at Park Theater at Park MGM resort.
Teasing the exciting show, a statement read: “Metamorphosis’ peels back the layers of the immensely private life of Janet Jackson, sharing her transformation from a young girl with issues of self-esteem to global Icon. The centrepiece of this all new thought-provoking show, will be Janet herself, captivating you through your senses with electrifying visuals, explosive dance numbers, chart-topping hits and fan favourite deep cuts. Fans will follow her path to self-love, empowerment, motherhood and activism, amidst the challenges faced along her personal journey. She encourages her audiences to find their own light within themselves through her ‘Metamorphosis.'”
The upcoming performances will also include a 30-year anniversary celebration of her album ‘Rhythm Nation’, which was released in 1989 to much critical acclaim. The 52-year-old star – who has sold over 160 million records worldwide – has also won six Grammy Awards.
Members of Janet’s fan club will receive access to an exclusive presale which will open on Wednesday 27 February at 10 am PST (6PM GMT).
As well as performing on the Las Vegas strip, Janet has signed up for Glastonbury Festival, which takes place at Worthy Farm in Somerset, South West England, between June 26 and June 30.
Glastonbury takes place the same week as the 10th anniversary of Janet’s late brother Michael Jackson’s death on June 25, which could mean Janet may perform a tribute to her late sibling.

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Webb has led online tributes to the late Mark Hollis.
Talk Talk’s bassist Paul – also known as Rustin Man – has paid tribute to his late bandmate, who passed away at the age of 64 after a short illness.
He wrote on Facebook: “I am very shocked and saddened to hear the news of the passing of Mark Hollis. Musically he was a genius and it was a honour and a privilege to have been in a band with him. I have not seen Mark for many years, but like many musicians of our generation I have been profoundly influenced by his trailblazing musical ideas. He knew how to create a depth of feeling with sound and space like no other. He was one of the greats, if not the greatest.”
Mark’s manager Keith Aspden confirmed the musician’s passing as she spoke about how he had “influenced and changed” Keith.
He said: “I can’t tell you how much Mark influenced and changed my perceptions on art and music, I’m grateful for the time I spent with him and for the gentle beauty he shared with us.”
The band was formed in 1981, with Mark on vocals, guitar and piano; Lee Harris on drums and Webb on bass guitar. Their early hits include ‘It’s My Life’, ‘Such a Shame’ and ‘Life’s What You Make It’
Tim Pope, who directed Talk Talk’s music videos, also took to social media to pay tribute to Mark, he wrote: “Goodbye to Mark Hollis of Talk Talk. Condolences to his lovely family. We had many, many laughs together… (sic)”
His cousin-in-law Anthony Costello also tweeted: “RIP Mark Hollis. Cousin-in-law. Wonderful husband and father. Fascinating and principled man. Retired from the music business 20 years ago but an indefinable musical icon.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are “actively co-parenting”.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star insists he and Chyna, the mother of his two-year-old daughter Dream, are working well together in the “best interests” of their little girl.
He wrote on his official Twitter account: “Angela and I are both actively co-parenting and there are no pending or active custody cases.”
Whilst Chyna added in her own post: “Robert and I only concern is what’s in the best interest of our daughter that we both equally love. Additionally, Robert is a wonderful father to our Dreamy!”
Their comments come just a few weeks after reports surfaced that Rob was “mad” at Chyna after she jetted off to Hawaii whilst she was meant to have custody of their daughter Dream.
A source said at the time: “Chyna planned on having Dream stay with a nanny in LA while she was in Hawaii. Rob is mad because if either parent is out of town, the other parent is supposed to have the option to keep Dream longer. Rob doesn’t want Dream to stay alone with a nanny while Chyna parties in Hawaii. This is what he is mad about. She needs to tell him when she won’t be in LA so Rob can keep Dream longer. Rob is getting his lawyer involved.”
And Rob’s family were concerned that Chyna wasn’t “properly caring for” Dream.
An insider shared: “Rob’s family always had issues with Chyna. Chyna has long acted like her number one priority isn’t raising her kids. This is very hard for Rob’s family. They don’t feel like Dream is properly cared for when she is with Chyna. They find it to be a sad situation. Dream is the cutest little girl. She is very happy and so much fun to be around. Rob’s family just wants Dream to be raised in the best way possible.”

The ‘All of Me’ singer has revealed he used to meet the same girls as the ‘Moves Like Jagger’ hitmaker, so it is no surprise that they have both ended up married to models.
Speaking on Late Night With Seth Meyers, he said: “Adam and I have been friends for quite a while too, we dated in the same circles. We would hang out at, like, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition parties. We’re both married with two kids now, we’ve both settled down.”
Meanwhile, John’s wife Chrissy Teigen previously confessed her husband is the “easiest part of everything” for her.
She said: “I try to deprecate him because he’s so perfect. I got very, very lucky … I don’t know who else could put up with all the s**t we are constantly dealing with. Kids, friends and work are hard, but John is the easiest part of everything.”
And Chrissy is grateful she had John by her side when her struggle with postpartum depression left her unable to muster the energy to even go upstairs.
She added: “I lost all interest in everything. I couldn’t get out of bed. I kept all my pajamas in the pantry because I didn’t want to go upstairs … It’s really hard to know how privileged you are and still feel frustrated, angry and lonely. It makes you feel like more of a b***h … Sitting with John, our doctor pulled out this book and was like, ‘Do you have these feelings? Would you be happier tomorrow if you didn’t wake up?’ And yes, I probably would be. That’s a big deal! I didn’t realise how bad it was until I was out of it.”
Whilst John explained: “It’s a struggle to be a good partner and help. I think the key for us was finally understanding what was happening and getting help.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Zachary Quinto has “amicably” split from Miles McMillan.
The ‘Star Trek’ actor has reportedly ended his relationship with the American model after six years together but they have vowed to remain friends.
A source told People magazine: “They amicably split earlier this year.”
Zachary previously revealed he had “talked about” getting married to Miles.
Speaking in 2016, he shared: “I was just taking it [the ring] for a test drive, nothing formal. It’s a vintage ring that I bought as a gift for Miles and because we were not together on this long press tour I was like, ‘I am going to take that ring because I love it.’ But the only finger it fit on was my ring finger on my left hand so I didn’t think much of it. I am thrilled that we can [get married] and I fought really hard for the right to marriage equality. I am really grateful for the Supreme Court for passing it a year ago. We love each other and we talk about it, but we have no immediate plans.”
And the 41-year-old star previously admitted he didn’t come out as gay until he was at college.
He said: “The question of when I knew I was gay and when I accepted I was gay are two very different conversations. I suppose I knew what was going on. I just wasn’t ready to look at it. In college, I’d say. [When he came out]. Once I broke free of the expectations of my upbringing, my socioeconomic exposure to … I grew up with a pretty suburban, Catholic upbringing. I feel once I was able to create my own life and explore my own path … um … then I started to turn my attention to fully understanding and accepting who I am.”

The Migos rapper feels he was portrayed very negatively when he split from the ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker and admits their “young” age meant they found it hard to cope with their separation.
He told GQ magazine: “I’m 27, I’m a young guy, we done stepped into some things we didn’t really know too much about. We love each other and everything, but it’s like, we was going through a separation – both of us are artists on top too – so when certain blogs would lie or say something that wasn’t true, I would still become the bad guy somehow. I don’t get why it can’t just be: I f***ed up, I made my say, and we moved past that s**t.
“That’s my family going through it. Blogs are doing it for the views and comments. Blogs be knowing when it’s b******t, and when it’s true s**t. Just keeping it all the way 1000. When it be b*****t, they still run with it as if it’s true s**t.”
Offset and Cardi are back together now but they have been “taking things slowly” since their reconciliation and don’t want to rush into things too quickly.
He said: “It’s been good. We’re being more open to each other, raising our baby and taking things slowly.”
Cardi also had refused to go to marriage counselling with Offset.
She explained: “I decided on my own. Nobody makes my decisions about my life but me. I didn’t want to go to marriage counselling. He suggested it, but it’s like, ‘I don’t want to go.’ There’s no counsellor or nothing that could make me change my mind.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jordyn Woods is set to appear on ‘Red Table Talk’ following allegations that she kissed Khloe Kardashian’s boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
The 21-year-old model has been facing infidelity accusations after she allegedly got close to NBA star Tristan at a party, whilst he was in a relationship with Khloe – with whom he has 10-month-old daughter True – who is the sister of her best friend Kylie Jenner.
And in order to discuss her side of the story, Jordyn is set to be making an appearance on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook Watch show ‘Red Table Talk’ which will air on March 1.
Jordyn posted a video of herself walking onto the set on her Instagram story on Tuesday (26.02.19) to confirm she would be taking part.
However, the Kardashian family are said to be “upset” with the idea of her appearance on the show, as they feel she should be dealing with the issues “privately” instead of expressing her thoughts publicly.
A source said: “The Kardashians are upset with Jordyn’s ‘Red Table Talk’ interview, and feel like she should be focusing more on healing her relationship privately with the family or Kylie then talking about it publicly.”
And the source believes that if Jordyn doesn’t “handle this the right way”, she could end up severing her friendship with Kylie for good.
The insider told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “The Kardashian-Jenners have been nothing but incredible to Jordyn and hope she’ll be respectful. They just wish her way of dealing with it was done in a different way.
“If Jordyn doesn’t handle this the right way, any possible hope of her being back in with the family or Kylie will be gone.”
Meanwhile, Jordyn recently moved out of Kylie’s home following the drama, as she wants to give the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star some space.
An insider said: “Kylie is extremely upset about everything that is going on with Khloe and her best friend Jordyn. Jordyn is a sister to Kylie, and she’s extremely shocked this could happen, as is the whole family. Kylie is trying to get all the facts before she makes up her mind, but for now Jordyn isn’t staying at Kylie’s. Kylie needs her space and also wants to respect her sister Khloe. The future of their friendship hangs on the facts.”
