Jonas Brothers get Amazon documentary movie

OHMYGOSSIP — The Jonas Brothers are set to star in an Amazon documentary.
The musical trio of brothers – made up of Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas – recently made a comeback to the music scene with their first new music in almost six years when they dropped new single ‘Sucker’ last week.
And now it seems the band’s comeback isn’t just about the music, as they’ve revealed they’re set to be the subjects of a new documentary film which will air on Amazon Prime Video.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will give a “personal, behind the scenes look” at the brothers as they reunite for their upcoming tour, promises to give fans an intimate look into the lives of Kevin, Nick and Joe.
In a statement, the Jonas Brothers said: “Our fans are the best in the world and have shared in our journey as the Jonas Brothers and us as individuals. In releasing this documentary we wanted to make sure we partnered with an innovative platform, like Amazon, that could reach our fans around the world.”
And Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke added: “Amazon Prime Video is proud to be the exclusive home for a very personal, behind the scenes look at the Jonas Brothers as they reunite for this exciting tour. Experiencing the brothers back together again is the news that everyone hoped for and we can’t wait to share this intimate and compelling documentary special with all of our customers.”
The ‘Burnin’ Up’ hitmakers famously split in 2013 after canceling their tour due to a “deep, creative rift” among the band members, and youngest member Nick, 26, recently said he thought a reunion would be “impossible”.
He said: “When it ended it was not good. It was a couple years of rebuilding our family, and in our mind it seemed impossible for us to do this ever again.”
As of the time of writing, a release date for the documentary has not been announced.

Ben Affleck back with Lindsay Shookus?

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Affleck has reportedly rekindled his romance with Lindsay Shookus.
The 46-year-old actor and the ‘Saturday Night Live’ producer dated for over a year before their split seven months ago, but according to sources, the pair are said to be back on track once again and have “picked up where they left off” their romance.
An insider told People magazine: “Ben and Lindsay have picked back up where they left off at this point. [They] are spending time together.
“He loves to be with her. They are both focusing on their families.”
The news comes after the pair got back in touch last month for the first time since their August split, but sources noted at the time that it wasn’t unusual for the ‘Justice League’ actor – who has Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, seven, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner – to be talking to Lindsay.
A source said: “[They are] back in contact. They’ve known each other for years and there have been other periods of time where they didn’t speak. But they always seem to end up talking again.”
Ben and Lindsay originally split shortly before he headed to rehab for a 40 day stint to tackle his alcohol addiction, and he recently said it “doesn’t really bother” him to speak about his struggles with alcohol because he knows it is a “part of [his] life”.
He said: “It doesn’t really bother me to talk about alcoholism and being an alcoholic.
“It’s part of my life, it’s something that I deal with.
“It doesn’t have to subsume my whole identity and be everything but it is something that you have to work at.
“I had a problem and I really want to address it and I take some pride in that.
“It’s about yourself, your life, your family … we encounter these kinds of hurdles and we have to deal with them.”

Kathy Bates: Diabetes fears led me to weight loss

OHMYGOSSIP — Kathy Bates was “facing diabetes” before her dramatic weight loss transformation.
The 70-year-old actress revealed recently that she’d managed to shed an impressive 60 lbs., and has now said her decision to get into shape came as she was facing the disease, in which the pancreas has to work harder to produce insulin, and can eventually wear out.
She said: “I was facing diabetes – it runs in my family – and I really didn’t want to live with that. I’m now in the best health I’ve been in in years and I’m so grateful – it’s a miracle.”
The ‘American Horror Story’ actress even has some useful tips for those who want to follow her plan to lose weight.
She added to ‘Extra’: “After you eat for 20-30 minutes, you experience an involuntary sigh. It’s communication between stomach and brain telling you you had enough … and what I discovered is if you listen to that sigh and push that plate away for just five minutes, you realise you’re satisfied and you don’t have to eat more.”
Earlier this year, Kathy revealed her weight loss had also helped her battle against lymphedema – a condition in which arms or legs swell up because of a blockage in the lymphatic system – which she began to suffer with after undergoing lymph node surgery when she battled both ovarian and breast cancer in 2003 and 2012 respectively.
She said: “I was terrified of getting it. It affects more people than ALS, MS, AIDS and Parkinson’s combined. Ten million Americans. But people just don’t know about it.
“Some doctors think it’s cosmetic and not life-threatening. Doctors spend 15 to 30 minutes on the entire lymphatic system in medical school, so if someone goes to their general practitioner with swollen limbs, pain and heaviness the doctor will have no idea what it is. So it goes undiagnosed and the disease progresses for years and gets worse and worse.
“I’m feeling great [now]. I’ve lost a lot of weight and it’s really helped with my symptoms. I just still have to wear compression sleeves or guard against nicks and bug bites because that can lead to sepsis.”

Demi Lovato committed to her sobriety

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato is “committed” to her sobriety.
The ‘Solo’ hitmaker has been working hard behind the scenes to remain sober and has cut off her “enabling” friends, eight months after she suffered an apparent overdose and was hospitalised last July.
And Demi’s biggest motivation has been getting back on stage, even though the road to recovery has been a bit of a rollercoaster. However, in the past month, Demi has been doing well, sources tell Entertainment Tonight.
Back in December, the 26-year-old singer admitted she is “sober and grateful to be alive” following her overdose.
She wrote on Twitter: “If I feel like the world needs to know something, I will tell them MYSELF. Otherwise people stop writing about my recovery, because it’s no one’s business but mine. I am sober and grateful to be alive and taking care of ME. Someday I’ll tell the world what exactly happened, why it happened and what my life is like today.. but until I’m ready to share that with people please stop prying and making up s**t that you know nothing about. I still need space and time to heal..
“I would love to set the record straight on all the rumours out there but I literally don’t owe anyone anything so I’m not going to. All my fans need to know is I’m working hard on myself, I’m happy and clean and I’m SO grateful for their support. I’m so blessed I get to take this time to be with family, relax, work on my mind, body and soul and come back when I’m ready. I have my fans to thank for that. I’m so grateful, truly. I love you guys so f***ing much thank you (sic).”

He tweeted: “The first time I met Luke Perry we talked about what kind of movie we wanted “Buffy” to be. I asked if he’d ever seen “Near Dark” and he gave me a look of HOW DARE YOU SIR and I knew we’d get along. Funny, committed, and always gracious. He shouldn’t be gone. (sic)”
Luke’s ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ co-star Ian Ziering also took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the news, saying he would “bask in the loving memories” they’d created together over the past three decades of their friendship.
He wrote: “Dearest Luke,

Actress Molly Ringwald also paid tribute, writing: “My heart is broken. I will miss you so much Luke Perry. Sending all my love to your family. #LukePerry (sic)”

Maisie Williams was ‘broken’ by final Game of Thrones scenes

OHMYGOSSIP — Maisie Williams was “broken as a human” during the final scenes of ‘Game of Thrones’.
The 21-year-old actress stars as Arya Stark in the popular HBO fantasy drama series, and has said that in the show’s upcoming eighth and final season she faces her first taste of a ‘Game of Thrones’ battle, which she found to be “physically draining.”
Maisie revealed that a year before filming started, she was told to “start training” for the fight scenes because they were going to be “really hard”.
She added: “And I said, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah.’ But nothing can prepare you for how physically draining it is. It’s night after night, and again and again, and it just doesn’t stop. You can’t get sick, and you have to look out for yourself because there’s so much to do that nobody else can do … there are moments you’re just broken as a human and just want to cry.”
Her co-star Iain Glen – who plays Ser Jorah Mormont on the show – echoed her comments, saying the fight was “the most unpleasant experience” he’s ever filmed whilst on the show.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly magazine, he said: “It was the most unpleasant experience I’ve had on ‘Thrones’. A real test, really miserable. You get to sleep at seven in the morning and when you wake in the midday you’re still so spent you can’t really do anything, and then you’re back. You have no life outside it. You have an absolute f***ed bunch of actors. But without getting too method [acting] about it, on screen it bleeds through to the reality of the ‘Thrones’ world.”
Meanwhile, Lena Headey – who plays Cersei Lannister – recently said she “broke down in tears” once she had wrapped filming in July last year.
She said: “It was [sad], yeah. I thought I wasn’t going to let myself get to that point because I had the last day to get through. And then when I left and I got in the car, I broke down in tears and I was … yeah, devastated.”
The final season of ‘Game of Thrones’ will air in April.

Miley Cyrus’ first kiss was with a girl

OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus’ first kiss was “with a girl in middle school”.
The 26-year-old singer came out as pansexual to her mother when she was 14, and has said she had a hard time being accepted in her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, because “no-one could understand” her sexuality, even after she shared her first kiss with another girl.
She said: “When I was a kid growing up, being from the South, and my first experience, my first kiss was with a girl in middle school. And no one could understand, in Nashville, saying that.”
The ‘Malibu’ singer – who is now married to Liam Hemsworth – was always “supportive of [her] gay friends” during her time as a Disney Channel star on ‘Hannah Montana’, and says she was one of the only people with the network to speak out for “what mattered” to her.
Speaking on the ‘What’s The Tea with Michelle Visage’ podcast, she added: “So I had that relationship. And I was one of the only kids on Disney that would come out and say that I supported all my gay friends. No one would really say that, so that was always really important to me. To find what mattered to me.”
Miley has opened up about her romances with women in the past, as she told Variety in 2016 that her “eyes started opening in the fifth or sixth grade.”
She said: “My first relationship in my life was with a chick. I grew up in a very religious Southern family. The universe has always given me the power to know I’ll be okay. Even at that time, when my parents didn’t understand, I just felt that one day they were.
“My whole life, I didn’t understand my own gender and my own sexuality. I always hated the word ‘bisexual,’ because that’s even putting me in a box. I don’t ever think about someone being a boy or someone being a girl.”

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna ‘working hard’ to co-parent

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are “working hard” to co-parent their two-year-old daughter Dream.
The former couple split in December 2016 just one month after their daughter was born, and despite having a tumultuous relationship since then, the pair are thought to be “on speaking terms” again and actively working toward a healthier co-parenting system for them and their tot.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: “They are on speaking terms, and they are working hard to have a better relationship to coparent Dream.”
The comments come after the pair vowed to be civil to each other for the sake of their daughter, and set their end goal following a series of bitter court battles.
Rob and Chyna – whose real name is Angela White – previously insisted they are “actively co-parenting” in the “best interests” of their little girl.
He wrote on his official Twitter account: “Angela and I are both actively co-parenting and there are no pending or active custody cases.”
Whilst Chyna added in her own post: “Robert and I only concern is what’s in the best interest of our daughter that we both equally love. Additionally, Robert is a wonderful father to our Dreamy!”
But those comments came just weeks after the 30-year-old model – who also has six-year-old son King Cairo with ex Tyga – called out Rob in an Instagram Live video.
She said: “Ya know what’s so wild to me is that I never asked Tyga for child support, Rob for child support or whatever and then we just went to court, or whatnot, and I tried to squash it, which I did. But none of that comes out. It’s only negative s**t with Chyna, Angela White.
“We went to court mediation and s**t and I squashed it ’cause I never wanted no money from Rob, ’cause it was never about that, period. I have kids by two guys that f***ing tricked me, whatever, and they don’t give me s**t, no child support and I’m sick of that s**t. Rob didn’t help me, Tyga ain’t help me, Toni ain’t help me, but like try to like, smack me down, period, and I’m just letting y’all know this, all this s**t, I built by myself.”

Sarah Michelle Gellar’s consoling Shannen Doherty

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Michelle Gellar is supporting her friend Shannen Doherty after her ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ co-star Luke Perry passed away.
The 47-year-old actress played the late actor’s alter-ego Dylan McKay’s lover Brenda Walsh in the hit US teen drama, and was deeply saddened after he suffered a stroke last week.
The ‘Riverdale’ star tragically died on Monday (04.03.19), aged just 52, and the ‘Cruel Intentions’ star has been consoling her close pal since.
Alongside a picture of the pair in character and referencing a quote from the show, she wrote on Instagram: “My entire high school experience was shaped by Brenda and Dylan. Now I have to hold my dear friend @theshando hand, while she mourns the loss of #lukeperry This is not how it’s supposed to happen. I hope his family knows many lives he touched. “I chose. I chose you. I want you. I’ve always wanted you” – my favorite quote (sic)”
Shannen had admitted before Luke passed away that she would “start crying” if she had to talk about his hospitalisation.
The ‘Charmed’ star was “in contact” with her pal and didn’t want to say too much about his condition.
She said: “I can’t talk about it here ’cause I will literally start crying but I love him and he knows I love him. It’s Luke, and he’s my Dylan.”
The actress – who is in remission from breast cancer – previously sent her support to Luke on Instagram.
She wrote: “My friend. Holding you tight and giving you my strength. You got this.”

Jared Harris joins cast of Morbius

OHMYGOSSIP — Jared Harris has joined the cast of ‘Morbius’.
The 57-year-old actor – who is known for his roles in ‘The Crown’ and ‘Made Men’ – is the latest star attached to the film, which sees Jared Leto take on the titular Spider-Man villain.
According to Variety, It’s currently unknown what part Harris will play.
Last month, it was reported that Matt Smith is in talks for a major role in the film, which is also being kept secret at the moment.
Daniel Espinosa is directing the project, and Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach and Lucas Foster are set to produce.
Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless have written the script for the film, which tells the story of a scientist who ended up with vampire traits, such as a thirst for blood and fangs, after attempting to cure himself of blood disease.
Morbius first appeared in comic ‘The Amazing Spider-Man #101’, and the character went on to land his own series, ‘Morbius, the Living Vampire’, which spanned from 1992 to 1995.
Leto has already began preparing for the role, taking to Twitter in November to reveal he had shaved his beard off ahead of filming the ‘Spider-Man’ and ‘Venom’ spin-off.
He wrote: “And so it begins…#MORBIUS (sic)”
Tolmach and Arad confirmed production was due to get underway last month.
When asked last year what his and Arad’s next project will be, he said: “‘Morbius’ is the next one…
“The plan is early part of next year. We’re still working on it.”
Arad added: “More or less, February?”
And Arad previously admitted he and Tolmach were delighted to attract Leto to ‘Morbius’ and Tom Hardy to ‘Venom’, because it is tough to sign them up for movies.
He said: “This is the great thing for us now, that an actor like him, and an actor like Tom wanted to have their own character. But the character they love.
“Both of them, very hard to get them to do a movie. You actually cannot get them. We went in, we sat with them, and everybody told us, ‘Oh, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba.’ Nothing. That’s what he wanted to do. Tom. And Jared, too.
“We went to this place with them, and he just…good actors want to be different than what they are.”

Brie Larson: Captain Marvel could be ‘biggest feminist movie of all time’

OHMYGOSSIP — Brie Larson wouldn’t be surprised if ‘Captain Marvel’ went on to be the “biggest feminist movie of all time”.
The 29-year-old actress plays the titular role in the hit movie and is grateful she got to be a part of something that can “break new ground” as it is the first female-led stand-alone film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
She said: “We’re subverting the genre in a lot of ways and breaking new ground and we’re doing it in a way that feels really natural. It isn’t trying to stick our tongues out. It’s just this is who she is and this is the story that we’re telling … It’s mythology, it’s story and it’s the human experience on this large scale. On top of that, they said they wanted to make the biggest feminist movie of all time.”
And Brie trained hard for her role, admitting it was like prepping for an “actor’s triathlon”.
She added to ABC News: “I trained for it like it was a triathlon, and it truly felt like an actor’s triathlon.”
Meanwhile, Brie previously insisted she didn’t feel any pressure playing the superhero as she just wanted to do the “best job she could” on set.
She said: “I don’t know if I’m crazy, because so many people have been like, ‘You must feel pressure, you must feel responsibility?’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t, is that bad?’ I just don’t think that it’s helpful to me or helpful to this story or helpful to the work to feel that way. For me it’s just like I really love this character, I love Carol, and I think there is a lot of value in it. I just wanted to focus on the best job I could do, and I know especially with a movie this big it seems like it’s like this public thing – but when you’re on set it’s super private so that is how it felt, it felt like we were making a small movie.”

Twenty One Pilots working on new album

OHMYGOSSIP — Twenty One Pilots are already working on a new album.
The ‘Stressed Out’ hitmakers – comprising of frontman Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun – are already planning a follow up for Trench, which was released in October 2018.
He said: “There’s definitely an end-game. There’s a story. I think I was very specific that there’s a reason why the record ends with [the song] ‘Leave The City’ and the song itself is a kind of cliff-hanger. I mean, the whole thing was it’s setting up for what’s next and it’d be silly to not at least resolve what we’ve already started. There’s a character that hasn’t been talked about on any record yet that plays a huge role in the narrative that obviously will need to be talked about and it’s probably where we’re going next. So it’s not going to be rehashing all the same themes, but it’s gonna recall all that and introduce a new character, a new direction.”
And asked if they’re already working on a follow up album, he added: “Oh yeah. It’s hard ’cause we’re doing this on tour, but I actually woke up two nights ago. This doesn’t usually happen, it sounds super-dramatic, but I woke up with a melody in my head and grabbed my phone and recorded it. Then went back to bed and when I woke up fully, I remembered that I did that and I opened the voice memo to listen to it.”
The duo are in the midst of their worldwide Bandito tour and Tyler thinks touring is the perfect place to write new music because “a lot of crazy things can happen”.
He told NME: “In my head, I was just gifted with this thing that happened in a dream and I’m so excited about it and I listen to it and was like, ‘OK, it’s not that great … But oh, OK, hold on, if I were to use that chord to start out and then OK, if that chord goes here,’ so it’s really fun to be on tour and trying to be influenced to write ’cause a lot of crazy things can happen and you never sleep well on tour. I mean, our version of getting drunk or high is just being tired.”
