OHMYGOSSIP — Britney Spears’ longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari is set to fulfil his “dream” of running his own soccer academy.
The 25-year-old fitness instructor and model – who has been dating the 37-year-old pop superstar since 2016 – has joined forces with Pledge World to launch the venture in Los Angeles as his way of giving back to his local community.
Sam says he hopes the academy will “inspire” people to “look after themselves both mentally and physically”.
Announcing the news on Instagram, the actor wrote: “So excited to announce my partnership with blu’s @pledgeworld, who will be helping me fulfill my pledge of giving back to my local community. Having undergone a physical transformation myself, I will be setting up a soccer academy to inspire others to look after themselves both mentally and physically. This has always been a dream of mine, and now I can share this journey with you all! Sam says the focus will be on “mental health and social skills” and giving members the chance to strive towards their “personal best”.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I’ve been an athlete since I was boy, playing soccer and learning about fitness.
“Physical training is integrated with my career and long-term goals for health and well-being for longevity in fitness performance as well as my acting career.
“The campaign will centre on mental health and social skills.
“You could call it ‘sports without borders,’ I suppose, in the spirit of the intercultural tradition of the Olympics.
“It is about inclusiveness, striving, and trying your best whatever that personal best is for you.”
Meanwhile, Sam has been a huge support for his partner – who has kids Jayden, 12, and Sean Preston, 13, with ex-husband Kevin Federline – after she announced she was going on an indefinite hiatus due to her father, Jamie Spears’, ill health.
The ‘Toxic’ singer put her ‘Britney: Domination’ run at the Park MGM resort in Las Vegas on hold until further notice in order to spend time with her dad, after he became seriously ill three months ago, when his colon spontaneously ruptured and he was required to undergo surgery.
An insider said: “Her boyfriend, Sam, has been there for Britney and her family through this difficult time.
“After what Britney has been through in her past relationships, it’s taken the family a great deal of time to trust any man, and the family has really taken to Sam.
“Britney will never regret taking this time off to focus on her father and her family
“And she’s looking forward to returning to the stage and doing what she loves most.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West has offered to pay a man’s rent bills for the next five years.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star has vowed to pay for Matthew Charles’ accommodation for the next few years, after he became the first person to be released from jail under the new prison reform laws.
Matthew was recently released from jail after serving 20 years of his 35 year sentence for non-violent drug and weapons charges but when he tried to find housing, he had his application denied because of his background.
He shared: “I just received the most wonderful news tonight that I just had to share with everyone. Kim Kardashian-West heard about my situation. Was moved and has decided to help me.”
Kim reportedly reached out to Matthew privately after hearing of his story on social media and made the generous offer, and Matthew will use the money to pay his rent so he can save up for a house in the future, TMZ reports.
Kim has turned to political activism as of late, including successfully campaigning for Alice Marie Johnson to be pardoned after she spent 21 years in prison for a non-violent drug offence, and she previously revealed she is committed to working on other similar cases and helping many more people.
She shared: “It’s a longer-term mission for me. I never started out thinking I was being political. I just thought I was helping people and I knew that I had the opportunity or the resources, so I used them and, you know, it worked out really well for Alice. I definitely saw a lot of compassion from the White House with her and I really do believe it’s just the beginning.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Newton-John went “undercover” to receive cancer treatment.
The ‘Grease’ star checked herself into her own facility, the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre last year after her cancer returned and a tumour formed in her lower spine and whilst she was learning to walk again due to her fractured pelvis, which was caused by the tumour, she would wear a disguise.
She said: “Nobody knew I was there, so I was undercover boss in the hospital – on purpose. I didn’t want people to know because I didn’t want it to be out there in the public that I was in the hospital. I was learning how to walk again. I was using a walker, so I’d wear a beanie and glasses and masks, so no one would know who I was.”
This is the third time Olivia has battled cancer but if there is one thing her ongoing health battles have taught her is that “every day is a gift”.
She added to Entertainment Tonight: “Every day’s a gift anyway. We don’t really know how long our life is, so every day is an extra bonus for me and I’m very grateful and I intend to be here for a long time. I have much to do, still, and I’m enjoying my life.”
Olivia previously insisted she refuses to be another cancer “statistic”.
She said: “I think that can be really depressing, and I’m not going to be one of those statistics. I’m going to be fine. I think you can live with cancer like you can live with other things if you take care of yourself.
“I think it taught me I’m stronger than I thought I was. Because even though you have a team around you and people are helping you, really in the end, it’s up to you. Believe you can do it and to go through it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Wilde says it took “a lot of courage” to direct her first film.
The 35-year-old actress-and-filmaker has admitted that despite having plenty of experience of helming music videos and short films, it was a while before she finally felt confident enough to step behind the camera for her big screen directional debut ‘Booksmart’, which sees Will Ferrell and Adam McKay produce.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, she said: “But it takes a lot of courage to do it.
“I had to spend a lot of time paying attention and observing. It’s a good way to get your feet wet.”
The ‘Tron: Legacy’ star was inspired by coming-of-age movies like ‘The Breakfast Club’ and ‘Dazed and Confused’ as a teenager and always dreamed of being a moviemaker.
She said: “I just had a dream of making a film like the ones I loved and still love.
“In my teenage years, it was the generational anthems that kept me going.
“I thought, ‘We need one of those for this generation. I want to help with that conversation.'”
Wilde wouldn’t be without her amazing casting director Allison Jones – who has worked across movies and TV – and was able to ensemble Wilde’s “dream cast”.
She said: “She has discovered generations of brilliant talent from ‘Freaks and Greeks’ to ‘Superbad’ to ‘The Office’ and now to ‘Booksmart’.
“It was incredible to discover so many of these people with her and to get my dream cast.
“That’s a filmmaker’s absolutely fantasy.
“I’m so so lucky because these people here are the future of the entertainment industry and we’re so lucky.”
Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein are set to star in ‘Booksmart’.
The movie tells the story of the pair’s respective characters, Amy and Molly, who on the night before their high school graduation, decide they should have had more fun during their four years at school.
They decide to try to fit four years worth of fun into one epic night.
Jason Sudeikis, Lisa Kudrow and Billie Lourd are also set to appear in the movie.
Olivia has previously directed music videos for Red Hot Chili Peppers and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
She has also produced and executive produced a number of projects.

OHMYGOSSIP — Pharrell Williams is co-producing Blink-182’s new album.
The pop punk group recently revealed that their follow-up to 2016’s ‘California’ will “go off in completely weird directions”, and that appears to be thanks to the involvement of the ‘Happy’ hitmaker and pop production duo The Futuristics.
The trio – completed by Mark Hoppus and Matt Skiba – are also still working with their longtime producer John Feldmann.
Speaking to Front Row Live at his MUSINK Music Festival, Tattoo Convention & Car Show, the band’s drummer Travis Barker spilled: “Feldmann’s working on the record.
“But we’ve also – I’ve been doing a bunch of writing just at my studio and bringing it to Feldmann’s — we also just worked with Pharrell on the album.”
The 43-year-old stickman says that their new record will have the same “vibe” as their 2003 self-titled debut, in that “anything goes”.
He said: “It’s kind of anything goes.
“It’s the same vibe that was going on when we did [2003 eponymous album] self-titled.
“Literally, anything goes.
“I think we’re creating one of the most important Blink albums. I’m really proud of it.”
The ‘All The Small Things’ hitmaker also claimed that the record will “definitely” drop before the band play Warped Tour this June.
Bassist-and-vocalist Mark recently promised the album will still have elements of their “foundations” but will also have new exciting elements too.
He said: “After playing in this band for 27 years, I want to push it and do different things and take blink to places where we haven’t been before. We’re really trying to do that on the new record. We want to do with our band what we did in 2003 with ‘Blink-182’, where we take our foundations and go off in completely weird directions.”
And the 46-year-old musician says the band is “everybody’s priority” despite them having their own “outside interests”.
Mark – who recently launched his own band Simple Creatures with All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth – said: “That’s the thing, our main bands are our main focus and will always be. We all have our outside interests and our outside things, but we’re pretty straightforward with one another; blink really is everybody’s priority and that’s understood among all of us.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Jonas Brothers have secured their first ever number one record with ‘Sucker’.
The group – which includes brothers Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas – topped the Billboard Hot 100 with their eagerly anticipated comeback single, making them the first group this century to debut at the coveted number one slot.
They wrote on their joint Instagram account: “Today’s a big day people. We’re officially celebrating our FIRST EVER #1 on the @billboard Hot 100 plus the first group this CENTURY (and second group EVER) to debut #1 … We can’t thank you guys enough for all the support. We love you guys so much. And in a lengthy message, Nick said his heart was “full of gratitude” for his fans.
He wrote: “AHHH!!! This is unbelievable. My heart is so full of gratitude. There was a time I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to be able to make music with my brothers again, let alone have a number 1 song on the Hot 100 on Billboard … This is gonna be an unforgettable ride. Get ready! (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — James Jordan is set to undergo an operation after losing feeling in his arm.
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star and his professional partner Alexandra Schauman were crowned the winners of ‘Dancing on Ice’ following a hard-fought competition against Wes Nelson and Vanessa Bauer on Sunday night (10.03.19).
But hours before he was due on the rink, James – who is married to Ola Jordan – thought he would have to pull out of the final due to his painful shoulder injury, which has affected the movement in his arm.
He told The Sun newspaper: “When I woke up on Sunday morning I said to producers, ‘I’m out. I’m not going to be able to perform because of my shoulder.’
I could not lift my arm.
“Sharon, the show’s physio, is the only reason I got to perform on the night.
“I said to her, ‘Do whatever you can to get me through those three dances and I’ll love you forever’, and she did.”
Despite making it through the challenging routines, including their own take on Torvill and Dean’s iconic ‘Bolero’, James needs to have an operation to fix his dislocated shoulder.
He added: “Now I’m going to need surgery.”
James also “ripped open” his hernia – which had previously been operated on – during his time on the ITV show, as well as suffering from painful arthritis and problems in his hips and knees.
The 40-year-old former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional admitted that after sustaining the serious shoulder injury, he was convinced he wouldn’t be able to perform and wasn’t able to rehearse his final routine before the live show.
He said on Monday (11.03.19): “I fell on my shoulder, I’ve got a weak shoulder anyway but then that night I couldn’t sleep I was agony. I got up in the morning and said, ‘I can’t move my arm,’ and I actually rung the producer straight away and I said, ‘You’ve gotta pull me out the show, my arms gone.’ They got me into physio and she spent six hours on my shoulder I was on gas and air which is amazing by the way.
“We missed all the rehearsals all the camera blocks and just went out there and performed probably the best I think we’ve ever performed.”
James added that he didn’t want to mention his injury prior to competing against the ‘Love Island’ star and former ‘X Factor’ contestant Saara Aalto as it was “about the final” and not his injury.
He said: “I was on painkillers and they also said to me they wanted to put it in the VT and I said no I don’t want it in the VT this is about the final and Wes and Sara deserve their place there.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins didn’t ice skate during the ‘Dancing On Ice’ final as she was scared of falling.
The ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star fell face first onto the ice during a live performance earlier in the series, injuring her knees, so when she returned for the show’s final over the weekend, she didn’t want to suffer the same fate and refused to skate, instead coming onto the ice to do a movement sequence with her skating partner Matt Evers.
Gemma reportedly rehearsed for just 20 minutes before her performance during the grand final, when all the celebrities who took part in the show returned to the ice.
A source told The Sun Online that Gemma was “petrified of the ice” and that her legs “went to jelly” before her part of the show.
However, the reality star nearly didn’t even return to the programme’s final at all after a row with judge Jason Gardiner.
She fumed on Instagram at the time: “I’m really tired of being BULLIED by this man …. I wish you would stop ….. it’s very very upsetting and hurtful let it go Jason stop bullying me ENOUGH is ENOUGH I won’t be bullied any more making me feel uncomfortable to come back to the final on Sunday ! I was looking forward to Sunday but won’t be anywhere near someone who’s BULLYING me …. this is NOT ACCEPTABLE on any level comparing any human to an electrical appliance is not acceptable #STANDUPTOBULLIES (sic)”
However, she later confirmed she would be performing at the live final with skating partner Matt and promised she would “skate like it’s the last day of her life”.
She admitted: “I did pull out and then I thought, to everyone that has supported me, for my own self-esteem, I am not going to back down to anybody. I am going to walk back in on that show on Sunday night and I’m going to skate like it’s the last day of my life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Alison Brie and Dave Franco are set to work on ‘The Rental’ together.
The 33-year-old actor will make his directorial debut on the horror thriller movie and he has cast his wife in a key role, with the duo no doubt hopeful to emulate the success of husband and wife team Emily Blunt and John Krasinski in ‘A Quiet Place’.
Franco shared: “I couldn’t be more excited about partnering with Black Bear and to be working with such an amazing group of actors for my directorial debut.”
Brie will star in the movie alongside Dan Stevens, Sheila Vand and Jeremy Allen White, with shooting starting in April in Oregon.
Black Bear Pictures are financing the movie and will also be producing alongside Ramona Films, belonging to Franco. Vince Jolivette, Elizabeth Haggard Dave Franco himself with produce alongside Black Bear’s Ben Stillman and Teddy Schwarzman. Joe Swanberg and Chris Storer complete the producing line up, with Black Bear’s Michael Heimler and Sean Durkin executive producing.
The ‘Rental’ follows the story of two couples who decide to rent a home for a short celebratory vacation away but things quickly start to go wrong, Deadline reports.
Brie and Franco worked together on their new movie ‘The Little Hours’ in 2017 and she described it as a “blast” as she loved having her “person” with her.
Alison said: “We knew so many people doing the movie. And Dave [Franco], it was nice to have my person with me! … It was a blast, it was all a blast for me.”
Whilst Dave added in a Q&A about the movie in New York: “I enjoyed it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow “loves” being in her 40s.
The ‘Goop’ founder says there is an “incredible freedom” that comes with getting older and she no longer worries what other people think of her.
She said: “I am no longer in my 20s and 30s, I am 46 and I love being in my 40s. I think there is this incredible freedom that comes with a woman in her 40s and understanding that this is who I am and I’ve stopped worrying so much about what people think of me.”
And Gwyneth feels content with both her personal life and her career.
Speaking to CNN’s Poppy Harlow at a SXSW panel, she added: “I have two incredible children who give me a full run for my money every day. I have this incredible company, I love my role and I love my team. I love the challenges that come with it. I wake up every day [and] my days are very challenging but I feel like I have a lot of agency and I feel so thrilled by all of the challenges and so excited.”
Meanwhile, Gwyneth – who has Apple, 14, and Moses, 12, with her ex-husband Chris Martin – previously insisted she isn’t “quitting acting”.
She said: “I’ve never said that I am quitting acting. What I say is Goop is my full-time passion, and being the founder and CEO of Goop is what I do all day every day, and occasionally when something is the right thing and it works out around my children and my Goop life, I’m able to participate. I think I’m just not focused on full-time acting right now.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tara Reid faces having her $100 million ‘Sharknado’ lawsuit thrown out.
The 43-year-old actress – who played the part of April in the fantasy thriller franchise – filed a lawsuit against producers of the series last December after they used her image on slot machines, but she’s now received a warning from the court that she has failed to act in the case.
According to The Blast, the notice informed Tara she had not filed proof of service, meaning she hasn’t shown she has served the defendants with the lawsuit, and she now has until the end of the month to offer an explanation or the entire case will be dismissed.
In her original lawsuit, the blonde beauty insisted her contract with Asylum Entertainment and SYFY Media Productions did not give the producers the right to use and profit from the use of her image on any branded products from “manufacturers of slot machines, gambling products and beer makers”.
The ‘American Pie’ star accused them of “false endorsement” and “misappropriation of celebrity likeness” in court documents and sought substantial damages as they have reportedly profited millions of dollars from the machines.
The actress’ contract also stated she did not want her face to be used on items related to tobacco or of things of a sexual nature.
As well as the financial reimbursement, Tara has demanded an injunction banning her image from being used on the machines ever again.
The ‘American Pie’ actress previously admitted she thought ‘Sharknado’ was the “stupidest movie” ever when she was shown the script.
Tara confessed she nearly rejected the role because she wasn’t impressed by the concept.
She admitted: “I remember when I received the script, I was like ‘This is the stupidest movie I’ve ever read in my life.’
“And I was like, ‘I’m not going to do it as this is just re*****d as sharks are there in LA and taking over Beverly Hills,’ and I thought what a stupid movie.”
In fact, if it wasn’t for her friends changing her mind, Tara wouldn’t have starred in the franchise at all.
She recalled: “I was out to dinner with friends and I was telling them about it and they laughed so hard that it hurt.
“And they were like ‘You have to do this movie, like, it’s so funny. You know, like, it’s so bad that it’s good.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Colin Farrell’s sons were desperate for him to return to work after he took a long break.
The ‘Dumbo’ star – who has James, 15, and nine-year-old Henry from previous relationships – enjoyed taking time off to be with his kids last year but claims they did everything they could to get him out of the house and making movies again.
Speaking on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, he said: “Last year I worked for a month. I was gainfully unemployed for 11! I was just home with the boys…getting in their faces to the point where they were sick of looking at me.
“Truly! One of them packed my bag when I finally left and the other was waiting with the passport at the front door, saying ‘Please be a stranger Daddy!’ ”
James suffers from neuro-genetic disorder Angelman Syndrome and while Colin doesn’t think the teenager will ever be able to get behind the wheel of a car, he won’t rule it out completely.
Asked if James is at driving age, he said: “15 is driving me mad age. James is not driving, I don’t know if he will ever drive, he has Angelman syndrome.
“I’m not one to limit the expectations of his life but the world would be a more dangerous place if he drove. You never know, it’s a world of possibility.”
Elsewhere on the show, Ellen showed Colin a photo of him recently receiving a ticket on his car and the 42-year-old admitted he’d “pleaded” to have it quashed.
He said: “I pleaded and pleaded but he either didn’t see any of the films I’d ever done or he did and he hated them all.
“He wasn’t having any of it. I get whatever the ticket was, 75 bucks, I can still send my kids to school but when you catch someone in the process, it’s frustrating.’Nah man, you’re out of luck’ I think he said.”

The talk show host joked while she doesn’t want to “take credit” for their engagement – which they announced over the weekend – she would like to remind everyone that she presented the ‘On the Floor’ hitmaker with a clock the last time she appeared on her programme, to remind the baseball star that “time is ticking”.
Ellen – who was tagged in the couple’s loved up announcement on Instagram – joked on her own show on Tuesday (11.03.19): “I don’t want to take credit for this, but I may have given A-Rod the little push that he needed… I did that. I guess that’s why she tagged me, I’m pretty sure I’m the reason.”
She had given Jennifer a giant clock featuring a picture of the pair kissing to mark their second anniversary last month.
She said at the time: “Let’s just bring out the gift. This is a clock, it’s basically to remind him that time is ticking and he should hurry up and propose!”
Ellen, 61, also joked that the stunning singer “needs time to get in shape” for the big day, and teased that the couple were already selling tickets to the ceremony online.

The ‘Emmerdale’ actress has revealed her alter ego will stand up to Claire King’s character, who doesn’t take too kindly to Moira’s refusal to sell Butler’s farm to Kim as she looks to grow her empire round the village.
Natalie told RadioTimes.co.uk: “At the moment Moira doesn’t have the kind of history with Kim as she does with someone like Charity.
“I loved their clashes with Charity but you need the relationship there. Moira isn’t scared of Kim when she first meets her, she’s a grown-up who runs her own business and has dealt with a lot worse.
“If it came to a fight though my money would be on Moira – she’s a farmer and used to doing physical work. Nothing phases her!”
Kim will also try – and fail – to seduce Moira’s husband Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) before haching a plan with henchman Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) to destroy him, and Natalie suggested crossing this line could be the end of any possible mutual respect between the two women.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bhavna Limbachia says ‘Coronation Street’ fans will be “devastated” over Rana Habeeb and Kate Connor’s wedding day.
The soap star is set to leave the show, putting Rana’s happy ending with Faye Brookes’ character in doubt as it seems she might not even show up to their special day, and she has warned viewers that they might not get what they want from the storyline.
She said: “They are going to be devastated, especially the Kana fandom, because they have followed this journey from day one.
“They know that they have fought so hard to be together and have been through thick and thin and the last thing they want is for Rana to have cold feet and to be filled with doubt.
“Rana is a bit flaky like that, she does get scared, she has her flaws and she is very vulnerable and I think the fans will be rooting for Rana and Kate to just get married and to be happy for once.”
Bhavna is refusing to reveal the details of her exit storyline, including whether her departure will play into the imminent factory disaster.
However, she has taken the chance to reflect on her time on the cobbles, and the bond she shares with friend and co-star Faye.
She added: “We have so much fun filming together but my favourite scenes with Faye have been the emotional scenes. We’ve formed a connection that I know only Faye and I will understand and there has been a lot of trust between us so when we have done big, emotional scenes, we have put our truth and poured our heart and soul in to them.
“When the director says cut, you can’t always switch of those emotions so Faye and I always share this moment where we just hug, have a cuddle and recharge each other. Those are always the most special scenes.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Baker has slammed Rowan Atkinson for not being “very fun to work with”.
The 85-year-old actor portrayed sailor Captain Redbeard Rum in an episode of ‘Blackadder II’ and claims the 64-year-old star – who played the titular lord – was so “anxious”, he didn’t have a good time filming his scenes.
He said: “It was an incredible performance. Some people were amazed I ever worked again.
“Rowan Atkinson was so anxious – he wasn’t very fun to work with.”
And Tom claimed Rowan urged him to make his performance as “boring” as possible and said it was advice given to all guest stars on the historical comedy.
He added to Radio Times magazine: “You know Tom, I’m very experienced in this and the part you’re playing here, this sea captain, I think you’re actually doing too much. I think he should be as boring as you can make him.
“So, we then had the final run-through, and I did this boring routine, and the producer came down and said, ‘What’s going on, are you ill?’ ‘I said, ‘No, no, no, I’m just taking in the notes from your boss’.
“And he then said, ‘Tom, he does that every week. He gives those same notes to the visitors every week.’
“Weird isn’t it? A comic genius and yet he has these anxieties.”
Tom is best known for playing the lead role in ‘Doctor Who’ from 1974 to 1981 and he believes portraying the Time Lord “liberated” his acting style.
And he added: “I’ve been playing him ever since.”
